Oh man, I’ve had a week of fuck ups… I totally failed yesterday. I tried to make an aggressive point about xG. I used the right data, but I mistakingly tried to credit the origin… but put the wrong tweet in its place.

I liked what I saw in the second half against Watford. He’s a real sweeper keeper, he opens space for the defence because he wants the ball, his passes are more ambitious and he’s very flexible in playing short or long. I think his shot-stopping leaves a lot to be desired, but hopefull,y he’ll grow into the role and cement his place in the first team.

Well I can say we are 5 points better off this season than last if you look at comparable fixtures swapping Swansea for Cardiff. Is everything perfect? No but what people are forgetting is we were on a downward spiral under Wenger. It was getting worse at an accelerating rate – God knows where we would have finished up this season if he had stayed.

So many here wanted us to drop out of the champions league places to get rid of Wenger and hire someone to take us further but if we only reach fourth then why bother?
