When I was out and about today, I had a realisation… I really have no tension point to riff off at the the moment when it comes to Arsenal. Not that this isn’t a good thing, it just feels really odd to come to the internet every morning and feel excited about something new that we’ve not seen before. The club is no doubt in full propaganda mode, but it’s the good kind of propaganda. This must be how the base feel when they throw on a bit of Sean Hannity… or how my dad felt when David Beckham got caught with his pants down.

Just being able to see the training sessions feels so interesting. Apparently, Emery was the same when he was at PSG. He seems to be a very open manager. I can’t wait to hear him talk about his plans for the team when he’s a few months into the job.

You are a tourist in these countries or if not a tourist in the truest sense you are on short visits.
Just because you visit these countries and have no problems yourself and can get drunk on Pina Colada on a Maldivian beach is not really having the real pulse of the island is it.
And Dubai has been known as a whoring and drinking destination for a while now. Again primed for tourists/non-national short time visitors.

I lived in the Maldives on a local island for 4 years.
My sister has lived in Dubai for 8 years and counting, lived in sin and then married a guy from St Kitts.
Neither of us have ever been arrested or threatened for flaunting Muslim law as a minority.
That’s what an undeniable and incontrovertible fact looks like.
If you are a Maldivian national in the minority on these islands at this current time and recent past then you cannot be termed as “safe” with the current regime there.
If you are on a jolly as a short time visitor to the country then you will be safe enough.

Before we go any further we must point out and it is well known in many countries that ex-pats or those with money can behave and get away with behaviour that everyday nationals would not get away with.

Even in violence inflicted Kashmir, tourists are rarely attacked. Reason? The livelihood of people is dependent on tourism. But in the same Kashmir you can’t buy a piece of land if you happen to be a non-Muslim. That’s the point I wanted to make.You having a gala time in Dubai and Maldive does not dilute the point I am making here. Maldive, Malaysia and Dubai are famous tourist destinations.Turkey again is a very convenient example due to its specific location.
