Kai Havertz is not clinical, right?

It's a beautiful, sunny morning in North London. Haven't put my Bergkamp shirt on yet but ready to go!

It appears there is an agreement between Arsenal and Real Sociedad for the transfer of Mikel Merino.

IF it's true this time, and if it's €35m max we overpaid a little for 28 year old with 1 year left. But we're a big club and we can overpay a little bit like that. Nothing like the magnitude of Man United or Chelsea prices paid.

Still annoyed about the Nketiah situation. I do like Eddie, but we overplayed our hand with a player we have no use for....

If he stays and scores 10 goals in all competitions, I'll be happy to be proven wrong. A couple off the bench, a bunch starting in the FA and Carabao cups.

Or I'd loan him and like to see him succeed with real playing time.

My gut feeling tomorrow is that Jesus will start at CF and Kai will be LCM.

So

Raya

White-Saliba- Gabriel- Zinchenko

Rice -Odegaard- Havertz

Saka-Jesus-Trossard

So if right that would mean subs will be

Ramsdale

Setford (can’t actually remember if the no 3 keeper is usually on the bench)

Timber

Calafiori

Partey

Jorgingho

Nwaneri

Martinelli

Nelson

Better there that MLS gets game time in the u21s than just keeps the bench warm

Agree, Against perceived weaker clubs, that's the lineup. More aggressive, attacking. Against Man City, Liverpool I expect Kai false 9, and Merino in MF starting if he joins. The more lockdown, size, duel winning 11.

I can see Kai staying up front for all games once Merino arrives and Jesus will then be a rotation sub for him and Saka. Arteta will want the joint penalty box power of Kai and Merino as the supporting box to box player as well as having him as the duel monster in midfield

United are still shit. They have no ideas on playing out and creating chances. They had 3 or 4 clear chances but the performance was shit. They barely sustain pressure on opposing teams for 10 minutes. They have better options but we will still laugh at them as the season goes.

That was absolutely hilarious. Garnacho have a mare. Two dives, then misses an open goal.

Onana is shite. Ramsdale much, much better.

"The club has spent a lot over the past four years—at some point, you have to work with what you have or actually shift some bodies."

So you're saying Arteta, our chequebook manager who has never once exceeded expectations, needs to start winning trophies now that the starting xi has been replaced for him?

Discord is an app used to create closed communities. It’s popular among gamers. I’m not sure what goes on there that doesn’t happen in this comments section. Would love to get Pedro’s take to see if it’s worth joining.

Tavares smarter than Traore who is a very legrove type of player.

Traore is shit. Zero football intelligence. Give Saka Traore's speed and he would be the best player in the world.
