Agreed- why ahead of Nwaneri? I never want to see Sterling on the pitch again- where were the academy players instead? Someone on here said recently that he hopes Sterling gets a goal soon "as he tries so hard!" Lmao- either he's related to him, blind or thick!

Glasner said they targeted Raya as he is always far from his goal. He is as much to blame for their second goal as Saliba was imo.

that’s harsh. if you want an additional player as GK you expect them to be in positions you can pass them and they don’t have to kick it 60 yards. that’s 100% on bill as was the madrid goal

Not too bothered about a draw last night. We suffered no injuries. The players will be laser focused for PSG. CL qualification itself for next season is not in danger, not bothered about finishing 3rd, even 4th if we win CL.

If we win the champions league no one looks back and cares about games like this. But if we don’t, it goes down as another very poor league performance in a season truly littered with them. We have to play 25% better next season to say we want to win the league and keep a straight face

The problem with performances like today's is that they build bad habits, which turn into character and slowly solidify into identity. Saliba my guy, where's the concentration. I mean same area of the pitch against Real, less pressure this time, same result. A cheap give away.

I think I can understand this performance as players saving themselves for PSG. None of this dross of Tuesday please.

Honestly though for me the main goal today was to avoid injury to any key players. Sure we should have won but a mostly meaningless league game before our CL semi is not the one I feel the need to pick apart and criticize.

We can say the game didn’t matter and the league is over, but we’ve been seeing the same lackluster performances in the league all season. It’s the pattern rather than the exception to the rule

People keep blaming injuries and the refs for our failure to win the title this season, but a team which regularly plays badly has no business blaming anything but itself for failing to win the league. We need to get our own house in order before crying about other things. We haven’t deserved the title one iota. Low quality, half arsed league campaign will under no circumstances ever end up with the title. We’ve got what we deserve in the grand scheme of things. I’m just not sure why we’ve been like this

Consistency is a major problem with this team. Should have dusted this team easily.

Arteta: "Disappointed with the result and the performance. We never got the consistency to dominate the game. We were below the standards in some areas."

---------------------------

Everyone can see it. Players not fighting for 50/50s, not running enough, not concentrating and playing like the game mattered. If we were in the title race, that would cost us. Palace played like it mattered despite being mid table.

And I have seen it way too many times this season. We need to iron it out. Drawing from a winning position 9 times is really bad.

One of the most pedestrian performances I have ever witnessed as an Arsenal fan. No desire, nothing. It almost seemed as though they did not want to be on the pitch. Should've played the academy players.

I can understand that most of the players were playing in first gear because they did not want to get injured and miss next week's game.

However, you have to ask the question why is Sterling still being selected. His contribution was

non existent.

Looking at the table now

We have allowed ourselves to be in the top 5 dogfight.

Forest and Newcastle can be within 4 and 5 points of us, if they win this weekend.

City can end up finishing above us, with the way we are churning up draws.

Palace had one eye on Wembley and they still competed easily in this game.

The winnable games were Poolice, Bournemouth and Sadhampton. The tough games were the Orc Beheaders and Liverpoo. Oops

I’m starting to think that the players around Odegaard cover up and essentially make him look better than he actually is

Merino

Saka

Havertz

Partey
