The fans at the stadium will not want their team to lose whatever the idiots are saying online

Biggest problem is that their kamikaze football under Ange isn’t good enough and will be exposed mercilessly by the City machine tonight

Spuds would need to uphold their reputation, whatever is there, to prevent any frustration or annoyance from their sponsors...

Well, Spuds are in a similar situation to us in that they have to win every game and hope their rival /villa would slip up.. that's assuming they harbor a tiny bit of ambition to play in the CL

Btw, wonder if there would be OGs tonight if City needed some help 🤔 👀 😏

Pedro says we will win the league within next couple of seasons and a CL before the end of the decade. We will have an Arteta statue replacing or right beside Arsenes bu the end of this decade. I guess I have made my peace with Pedro and so paying money to read his predictions. Well enjoy the party Pedro and who knows you may get to enjoy a league win as well.

The thing that iam struggling with is sports is supposed to be playing under a specific set of rules which everyone is supposed to follow. If there is an allegation a particular side has violated these rules some 115 times and moreover this allegation is not by oppositions but by the people who run the sport then why isn't there a definitive decision on that. Can't anybody do anything about that. It's just bizzare and everybody behaves as of this allegation doesn't exist and everything is hunky dory. Bizarre state of affairs

One more learning this season. Last season there were enough padcasters who mentioned that loosing to city twice lost us the league since the difference would be 6 pooniters. This season we took 4 against their 1 against us but we may still end up second best. I think we could have still won the league of we had lost to city and won against Fulham and Villa. The first part of thenseason really killed us. It's still a mystery how different we were after Dubai.

People think Spurs won’t be going flat out to achieve CL football?

Not saying that will necessarily be enough but no way Spurs are throwing their most vital game of the season, to spite us.

Sure they’ll take us missing out on the title as a consolation, if it comes to that. Something tells me they will want bonuses and a place at the top table more.

Spuds would rather be playing in champs league than europa, players have pride and don't want to lose four nil when world is watching, the players will be focused on winning but I am not at all hopeful. What a weird situation when spud fan base is hoping their team loses when champs league qualification is still possible.

Can imagine the scenes when Spurs devalue themselves ad open their legs for a thumping, only for us to win it on last day of the season because Westham pulled off a shocker.

I listened to Spurs fans talk about how they aren't good enough for the CL and that "why compete in a competition you can't win", all excuses to wash down their party pooping obsession.

Ange has brainwashed them there

This season, they were shit playing one game a week, next week how will they fare playing on Thursday nights?

Alao why bother taking part in a competition they can never win .... like the premier league?

The embarrassing thing I have seen today is a lot of spurs fans wishing they would lose 10 nil. They are that concerned. I can understand why they want to lose. They will be bantered forever if they hand us the title. 1 nil is okay. But 10 nil??? They are hoping for that because they are fearful of Westham drawing with City on the final day and because goal difference might matter. How pathetic is that? Serial losers those lot.

They don't realize that their own club will be eternally scarred by results that devalue them.

If we have to lose the title anyway, I hope City beat them by an idiotic scoreline as they wished. Something like 12 nil. Give them what they wish for. We can win it next season.

The Spurs game will be a comedy sketch

Just watching professional footballers going through the motions will be funny and the home fans cheering the opposition will be one for the ages.

For the Spurs fans, why show up to a game you want your team to lose?

I’m no math major but didn’t Spurs have to win both their games regardless ?

I don’t think much changed - Spurs had a slim chance, now it’s a bit slimmer. They needed a win, they still need it.

Nothing’s changed.

They needed two wins before this game and they still do.

The problem is actually spurs mentality just as @https://substack.com/profile/43495118-dissenter has just alluded to

But why would Liverpool win change something?

Spurs are not a mentality team. It is over, unless you believe in Miracles.

Pool wouldn't have lost their lead if Kloop was staying. Garbage result for us.

Klopp going is good in the long run. We don't have to battle two generational managers instead of one.

City were always going to win tomorrow anyway. So it really doesn't matter now.

Indeed, it seems now that all odds are now stacked against Arsenal.

Spurs now need to win both games hoping Villa lose at Crystal Palace. Gives them a sniff of hope. But they will have to go all out to win to have some hope.

I am not hopeful but anything is possible.

Indeed, anything is possible. Spurs may show up against City and play, if only for the sake of pride.
