I remarked last week that Jesus, even despite his poor finishing, looked much more more lively than Havertz ever does. Tonight made the case that even if it is not him in the long run, a creative forward with shooting boots, mobility and pizzaz will make a huge difference to this side, and leave the leaden-footed Kai in the dust, where his dull, uninspired brand of football belongs. But Arteta being so stubborn that probably won't happen, and we will see the donkey for some time to come leading the line.
"Kieran Tierney will leave Arsenal next summer at the latest after the club decided against activating an option to extend his contract.
It means his career in north London is drawing to a close and the Scotland international can sign a pre-contract agreement with non-English sides from January 1. It is also possible a permanent transfer happens next month."
I will be very surprised if anyone pays money for him in Jan when they can have him for free in June. I liked KT, I had high hopes for him but things have not worked out health wise for him.
If he’s cheap enough they’ll pay. The question is how much!
Also tbh I dunno why any team would be willing to take a gamble on him with his fitness issues. He’s so far away from physically dependable that any team which takes him must not have their head screwed on unless they put him on a pay as you play package or something
I love the guy and in his early years with us, he was quality and a breath of fresh air. But signing him now is like signing diaby or wilshere in 2014. To be completely blunt, I’ll be quite surprised if he isn’t retired well before turning 30 at the rate he’s going.
Very much hope I’m wrong and he goes on to have a fantastic career tho. He deserves it. I just don’t see it happening
There are four premier league clubs left, anyone of them can win it but Liverpool are probably the weakest of all four because they will have to prioritize the league.

Ruined by injuries. A 25m asset leaving for free is bad but sometimes luck isn't on your side.
Him and Martinelli have been dumb and dumber. Apart from Finishing he isn't that good. When the goals dry up, he looks like crap. But he should be a squad player anyway so I am not that mad at him. I am more disappointed in Martinelli because I expected better from him.
I want Sterling to start over them till they start earning it.
We were really good in the 2nd half. And squad depth is affected by 4 senior defenders being out, 1 midfielder being used in defense and another being injured. We have decent squad depth.
Wanna hear a tragic fact?
Kevin De Bruyne is 6 months older than Jack Wilshere
What might have been 😢 😢 😢
Great to go through and for Jesus to get a hat trick right before Christmas (lol)
I’ll take that all day.
Kiwior’s part in the opening goal was really painful tho. Got every single bit of that move wrong sadly
No he wasn’t

Hopefully a permanent transfer in Jan and we get some money

I've liked Tierney since the first photo I saw of him carrying tesco bag instead of man purse that most players have.
It too bad about his health, he's broken, I hope he goes back to Celtic to finish out his career and win some domestic trophies.
Well what a win tonight!!!
That line-up was so makeshift it was a bit of a downer if I am honest.
But we've redeemed ourselves with a wipe your eyes silly unbelievable performance from Jesus with a hat-trick.
Who would have thought that possible?
Not I. But it happened!!!
That second half was so much better. What a turnaround by the team.
Onwards and Upwards The Arsenal for a trophy!
What a great night to be at The Emirates.
The competition will be hard to win

Look, and I am sure you will agree with this, if we want to win trophies and become the best in town, we will have to play up against the best.
There is no better way to learn if we are serious about winning the EPL and more importantly the CL.
Arsenal Liverpool Newcastle, Tottenham/Man United. Fun Semifinal match ups. Atleast Arteta is taking it seriously from here on out.
He will have to if he wants to add a trophy to his belt.
The team needs this kind of experience if we are aiming for the top honours like CL and EPL trophies.
How's that not a foul + red card for Quansah...
Fucking jammy cunts. It is hilarious refereeing. He should have been sent off.
For our 2nd goal, Jesus was in an offside position so I guess it's allowed today.
😂😂😂 Forgot about that.

Looked like he picked up a knock in this game too.
Smh
Liverpool holding on 😂😂😂
Come on Southampton, make my evening a bit better through a shootout 😂😂😂
Just FYI good finish by Eddie Nketiah tonight but even a slow shit ass looking clock is right sometimes
Honestly what has Trossard brought to the team this season aside from being
a whiny petulant prick and costing us points against City. He’s been absolute dross
all season long. Enough already. Send him to Saudi

No Martinelli is still better , Sterling is a selfish player and I think he is past it now
My dude I agree but Sterling is just meh.
Those two chances he missed.
Smh
But he was a threat at least. The other two have been doing nothing for a few weeks. I say give him a go.
Those five yard, sideways assists from Ode are just embarrassing.
A piss poor performance....doesn't matter how you flower it up. The squad depth is fucking rubbish.
Really, dominated throughout even when they scored, are you a supporter?
We won, SF!

What we lack is quality forwards.
