Spuds at least had some threat going forward thou Son fucked up in this occasion...

West Ham have nothing to hurt City and can't fend off City for 90+ minutes to keep a clean sheet. So there goes our🏆... even assuming we'd beat Everton

I am also looking forward to the game against Everton. I will be there to support the team.

From a personal perspective my "investment" in season tickets this season has been good value

despite the material changes made to the system.

It’s been a great season. There’s still a game to play. Who knows…

Far fewer posters on Le Grove nowadays. 😢

The season is still going and I want to see the club really thrash Everton as a sign off

Then we can all argue about what realistic signings we make to get us even better next year. Actually we were in the end very lucky on the injury scare. You do wonder though how it might have panned out if we had had Timber and Partey available.

Last season Arsenal were accused of bottlers when they "lost" a significant lead in the League Title

Race.

No-one can accuse Arsenal's current team of "losing" the title this season in similar fashion.

Personally I am not one of the critics who find fault with the way that Man City are run. Realistically

football clubs have been run on unequal basis.

Having a bucketful of money is not a recipe of success as we have seen over last two seasons at

Chelsea.

What Arsenal need to do now is analyse our current deficiencies and find solutions. Let's be clear

we beat and drew the two games against Man City this season. So the gap between us and them

is now very marginal.

ES it’s not fault with City being run on an unequal basis, it’s them breaking rules.

Nobody is complaining that prize money they got is invested well on elite players and the best manager. We’re moaning that the foundation upon which their prize money comes was an initial period of relentless rule breaking.

It does not apply to any other team. Chelsea spent money they never had, but there were no rules against it in the early days. Man U spend money but they earn loads. No problem.

The problem is you’ve got a guy taking steroids for 8 years to become unrealistically jacked. He stops taking roids for a few weeks at the end and keeps winning competitions because he’s still living off the gains he made whilst juicing. I don’t care how elite his workout regimen is, nor his diet, if the foundation he is building on is illegal PEDs, it will be very close to impossible to reliably match his levels.

It’s really that simple.

Imagine it’s the Olympics 100m sprint finals. Not all the athletes are equal. Some have better genetics, some have better training. It’s as unfair as any sport.

But city are sprinting off a head start based on their 115 breaches of FFP.

If you’re starting the 100m sprint 5m ahead of the competition and you’re narrowly winning the gold, it should be a case of great embarrassment and shame. Instead we’re all supposed to stand around and applaud them? No.

We can sustain a run of form of 10 plus wins. We have seen it this season with our 2024 form and the previous season with our pre-Christmas form where we got 48 points out of 50 or something like that. We just need to do it for the whole season.

We need a few more star players to never give City an inch next season. We must aim for a 95 point season at the minimum. Do that and if pep beats us then, we have done all we could.

Ok, I know we are all sad but this blog post littered with angry rants towards Pep is just crazy. Peps the best the game has seen, ever. It's there in our faces, in his records and in the sands of time. It's very very absurd that some people think he should take a small club job to prove himself lol. It's like asking prime Messi to go to Stoke so he can prove hes the best the games ever seen. Pretty stupid idea.

If we keep doing the right things, we will dethrone city, or another team will. Football is cyclical, has always been cyclical. We lost the league last season, they didn't win it. This season we ran them pretty close and can still win. Next season it will most likely still be the same. They are human, just very good ones. And they have Haaland.

I agree with Montana Gooner.

The two games which cost us almost certainly the league title were the defeats by West Ham and

Fulham over the Christmas period. The home game against West Ham in particular where we had

30 attempts on goal and still could not win the game.

Our form in 2024 would be considered in most seasons title winning form. We have dropped just 5

points since the turn of year!!!

No-one can criticise our away form or the goals scored or conceded columns. Most title winning

teams including the Invincibles have not bettered us in these stats.

Arsenal need to consider very carefully our transfer business this summer. From my perspective we

should concentrate on making two major signings.

1. A Centre Forward who is a "clinical finisher". We don't have a Harland in our team.

2. A top class DMF to replace Partey

Another matter which Edu and Arteta should also consider carefully is how to promote Academy

players into first team squad AND PLAY THEM. Players like Nanweri and Obi-Martin need a clear

pathway to first team if we are to hold onto them.

Simply put, how could we have dropped 5 points against Fulham??

WHU... 30 shots and all... well, if you honeatly watch those again, some had no hope and we shot for the sake of it eg shot blocked by a player in your face, huh?

If we continue to improve on shooting techniques, we'd be immense... start with not shooting straight at goalies

Villa game obviously costed us but at least it's a top 4 in the table...

2-3 elite level players competing in every position is the key to City’s success. Pep ignores the wage bill in his little rant which eye roll material. But we are close to achieving this if we sell the dross and buy and promote well.

Did anyone see Pep defending his cheating club again? Saying if money was all that mattered, Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal should have dominated previously. He included Arsenal !

Yes you are right, you integrity-less piece of sh!t, Man U did dominate and so did Chelsea when they were bankrolled by the Russians. Actually Chelsea did a far better job than you as they won more CLs than your dirty ass.

Let’s review Pep’s accomplishments shall we?

1) Won shedload trophies with a Messi Barcelona who are caught in some scandal around ethics

2) Failed to make a stamp at mighty Bayern

3) Won only 1 CL with the best assembled squad in world football at City. Winning domestic titles against declining Man U, struggling Chelsea and two clubs in Liverpool and Arsenal who are no where near on the and financial playfield.

Kudos to your achievements and can’t wait for the day when the cheating gets proven and you are erased from the history books

Lol. This is just an angry rant. Pep is the best coach the games ever seen. Make peace with it. City had to find a way to gain back advantage on the rest of the club's who one or two things in the past may have caused them to surge ahead of the rest of the pack.

City aren't invincible. They can be beaten. We lost the league lastly year, they didn't win it. This season we have run them mightly close and can still win it. They may have some allegations on their head but that's not what keeps me awake. How to improve our team and win doesn't keep me awake either lol but I'm more interested in that.

Just read Ange’s postgame comments. After he chewed out a fan behind the dugout. Lol. Wouldn’t be surprised if he left Spuds for the same reason as Conte and Jose. Small club mentality.

Feeling pretty gutted today, but mostly I’m just really proud of this club, this manager, and these players.

Hopefully the penalties against city are coming and they involve some sort of suspended sentence starting from when the charges were first laid and will come into effect once their case is decided. I’d definitely take titles granted for the last two seasons.

Oh and de-registration would be the ultimate penalty. Make the cheats re-apply to join the football association and start from the bottom of the football leagues.

Surely there has to be some element of aggravated damages against the club for not cooperating and dragging this out so long?

Fuck city.

Love you Arsenal.

And just a message to everyone else on here - I’m sorry it didn’t work out this season. I’m sorry for all the pain we’ve gone through. We don’t deserve to feel cheated like this. But we can be proud of our club, and feel good for supporting this classy institution.

And just a brief nod to the spurs manager and players (I know, I know). But it’s worth pointing out that nobody can reasonably challenge their integrity on this issue. They gave their full commitment and they fell short, but not from lack of honesty and sportsmanship. Ultimately, every club in the PL is the victim of city group’s crimes.

Spurs fans on the other hand? Wishing their team to lose? What a bunch of cucks.

One thing is for sure though - we are getting what we deserve, sooner or later.

Have a good day everyone. I’d love to have a beer with you all if I could. One day we might.

In the meantime, cheers 🍻

We lost the league at Christmas. It’s hard to admit that after the disappointment of the Villa game but realistically we could not have played much better since January. We dropped 5 points, 2 of them to City but they dropped those points as well. Due to the beginning of the season, we had no margin for error, much the opposite of last season. This team has a vibe and I don’t think they are done yet. Far from it. And you know the Fat Lady. I’m a Buddhist and sooner or later karma comes knocking.

I see Big Tone is the new Guns of Hackney. Arteta has taken this club from 8th to within a couple of points of 1st. Slowly maybe, but building a solid team that will be competing for years to come. It has been very enjoyable, for the most part, watching our team this season. A couple of inches and a couple of decisions (Newcastle) have made the difference between 2nd and 1st. There is only one commentator here who is pathetic.

Just watched the highlights.

Oh dear... Son normally scores 9 out 10 of those 1v1... IF ONLY ....

Well, that's pretty much it. WHU had no sauce and probably down 5 or 6

Btw, Ortega has done very well this seasonv while Ederson was off. Arteta &Edu take note.
