As per this link, hacked evidence can be made admissible in court, despite it being illegal. There is precedence.
I’m sure the city QCs will agree with that, that will be basis if dragging the case in and on.
If it is hard evidence, it could dissuade Cheaty of going any further with their court case vs the PL.
Of course, what remains to be seen is if this evidence actually exists.
