Funny how you always find the verdict from a former ref or pundit that suits your argument, even if there are others within the same community who disagree.
But one foul where everyone agreed should’ve been a straight red ( Tarkowski )you chose to take a pass.
So weird.
The ESPN panel dismissed both VVD ‘fouls’ vs Fulham as nothing more than coming together, and swinging of arm to free himself of contact in a tussle.
But I suppose ESPN is also anti Arsenal these days.
Although they did say the MLS pen was a joke , something I agreed with btw.
Liverpool got maybe up to 3 decisions wrongly go against them all season.
Meanwhile, they've gotten maybe 15 in their favour.
You keep going to that Tarkowski one. That red not given is as absurd as MLS getting sent off against Wolves and the pen they gave against us 2 days ago. That's just about 1/4 of all the absurd decisions against us.
That elbow of VVD the other day is given a pen + a red card if that's Gabriel. VVD? Nothing. They give reds to us for ridiculous reasons. It's incomparable.
But keep going back to the couple of times Pool got the short end of the stick. It's about +10 decisions for them and -8 for us in total.
And btw, when pool were getting manhandled by Everton away and denied clear fouls I was posting how Everton were getting away with it from the very angle of us going there in just a few weeks time and getting the same treatment.
You, Pedro and a few others were absolutely living it though , and now you’re crying refs are shit when
you actually underscore the most common argument for arsenal fans - we constantly hear from different sources that ‘arsenal must stop giving refs a decision to make’. the problem is - and that’s easy to verify for sending offs for example - we as a club, this season in excessive way, get 50:50 or even 60:40/70:30 decisions against us every time. the last real ‘good’ decision for us was the not given handball against odegaard against pool last year. I won’t tell you all the decisions against us this season alone but there were many. I haven’t seen all the pool games but from what I have seen they are better off by quite a margin and we are worse off. and although I totally get that many say it evens out over 38 games I have to admit that’s not true this season. even you have to admit that beside all our shortcomings this season with normal refs we would be within striking distance - and with ‘normal’ I just say take the 6, 7 instances against us and cut it by half, e.g. city 8 mins added time, brighton and everton penalty. it is likely we would be 6 points better off, meaning 5 behind pool. that’s not wishful thinking - these decisions were wrong and confirmed by basically everyone from pundit over expert irrespective of their feelings towards arsenal
I don’t do bias, on any subject, ever.
I just told you Pool should’ve conceded a pen on the very same play you were concentrating wrongly on VVD.
Your own bias prevents you from seeing the real foul on the play which was keeper wiping out attacker with ball still in play.
I posted specially for you earlier, I even called you out.
This is part of it:
"Another incident involving Virgil https://x.com/footyinsider247/status/1908888713586782308
Double foul against Fulham, no penalty."
I saw it. Don't think that I haven't. A retired ref said both offences should be pens.

I told you why.

Everton got all the calls again.
Muppets.
Has VVD committed some fouls worthy of a red this season?
No doubt.
Not nearly as many as you think though.
