Kai put in a great shift but still prefer him at CF

More I watch Trossard when he starts the less impressed I am. He does seem to give the ball away a lot and isn’t the fastest of players.

Spurs are mediocre, thats why they only beat bottom half teams.

Our defenders are good. Saliba kept us in the game. Magalhaes won it. We can survive missing any of the midfielders but without Saliba, we know how it goes.

Jamie redknapp saying Timber should’ve been sent off for his ‘tackle’ what a knob

It wasn’t even a foul. He wins the ball, the spurs lad goes for it as it’s a 50/50 and unluckily gets himself caught

That’s not even a fucking free kick let alone a red.

Twat.

Porro’s foot was equally high.

I love Martinelli but surely Arteta must be running out of patience with him. I think it’s all in his head. His decision making is so far off base it’s scary. I feel for him but this is high level sports. You either find the help or you’re shipped out.

I would say that was a controlled performance overall. Spuds huffed and puffed but we blew that toilet bowl down. Agree with the view that today was a must win and next week is a must not lose. I think the performance of this team over the course of this season will just get better and better. Let's go !!!

Usually it's the fans doing the excusing-- not the CBs. 😁

Romero and van de venn are the most overrated CBs in the PL. only Lisandro Martinez comes close

A few glorified mustafis out here getting bigged up every time they step out on a pitch

Arteta in his post match has said that he had to rethink everything after losing so many players and he had to come up with a new plan to adapt to the players we have and play deeper. That might seem simple but that is incredible self awareness to do that. Wenger used to infuriate me with lack of application of common sense in these games.

Arteta didn't do that when went to the Etihad with Holding. I can see the progress he is making from where he was. I love the guy. He has turned a team that was brittle to a team that is gritty and tries to get things done whatever the circumstances.

Saka should be rested against Atalanta before his minor injuries become major. He can come on as a sub if needed, but I doubt it. All well and good adapting from losing players but still needs to know when to give players a breather and trust his bench.

I think he will rest Saka. We can't afford not to. Because he had issues today, played all international matches, plus we play City on a Sunday after Atalanta on Thursday. Sterling is starting that game. I don't know what he can do in midfield though.

Neville talking about Vicario in this podcast is really interesting, because you could apply everything he’s saying about him to Ramsdale.

There was a lot of noise when we signed Raya, just weeks after extending Ramsdale, but the calmness and composure Raya brings is benefits the whole team.

Neville played in some great teams and defences, he’s well worth listening to on this subject:

You could see the appreciation for him as he was patted on the back 3 times by the back four in the last 20 mins of the game.

His hard work is appreciated.

There’s a very good argument that Raya has been our standout player in these first 4 games.

Dang I overreacted with the Ode injuries. We still have enough weapons in the team to do damage even if we lose him for a period. Still need better cover from the bench though. We need to strengthen the January window for Ode position.

Just came on here to mock the bed-wetters and whiners and let you know that Mikel is the first manager since George Graham to beat spurs in the league 3 times in a row.

Congrats Mikel 👏🏼😄😄😄

People will say Mikel has spent money, which he has. Howver the success rate of his biggest signings is fantastic. Compare that with that bald Dutch guy at United.

Erik Ten Hag - Yoro (£52m), Antony (£86m), Casemiro (£70m), Mason Mount (£55m) - £263m total

Arteta - Rice (£105m), Havertz (£60m), White (£50m), Jesus (£50m) - £265m total

Imagine if we signed some of the dross they did at those crazy prices.
