I have refrained from posting earlier following yesterday's outcome, because frankly I am angry. Our season as I posted last week is in grave danger of being once again derailed by

a combination of factors, which need to be summarised.

TOO MUCH FOOTBALL IN DECEMBER & JANUARY

It is nonsense how the top teams in England are expected to play in 4 competitions in that

period. This is now compounded by two additional Champions League Games.

INJURIES & ILLNESS

Arsenal's season has been derailed by a series of injuries and illness. The most serious are

ODEGAARD who was out for months with an injury whilst playing for Norway. He has not been

the same player since then and looking at him yesterday as well as Havertz they have both been clearly suffering from a virus and should not be playing football.

SAKA has been overplayed for two seasons and his injury will most probably cost us our season. You cannot afford to lose a player like him for 2-3 months. His potential replacement

in NWANERI is now also out injured.

WHITE is also a major injury. Our defence has not looked the same in his absence.

LEFT BACK is a problem. Three injury prone players on books in ZINCHENKO, TOMIYASU,

and TIERNEY. Too many different players playing the position if you include Kiwior, Timber

and Lewis-Skelly.

LACK OF GOALSCORER

We have known since we offloaded Aubameyang that we need an instinctive goalscorer.

Havertz and Jesus are good players but do not fulfil that role. It is costing us results as we

saw yesterday. The difference between both teams was ISAK !!!

TACTICS

Arsenal are playing this season dull football. Slow build up from the back and overplay. Why

are we playing in this fashion? Football is supposed to be a simple game!!!

REFEREES & PGMOL

Bad decisions have cost us critical results and points. There needs to be analysis of what has

been going on this season and proper explanations. Both Brighton games raise serious questions.

To summarise Arsenal's season could well be over this weekend.

Also he's a bit of an underwhelming signing but surely Sterling if for enough should have started or played a significant role of some sort yesterday on that right side seeing as he's the only natural one that can actually play there.

There's been no evolution of tactics from the manager, we literally play the same formation every single game notwithstanding the opponent or players available, it's same of same and also for the love of God someone get him to stop with the inverted fullback thing on that left hand side with MLS each time he plays,we look much dangerous when there's an overlapping fullback, I swear it's like we're coached by rank amateurs sometimes and surely the players have to have some initiative as well. Why are we playing the ball within ourselves a million times.

Raya to either defender, sideaways pass, sideways pass, timber beats his man and it's back to Saliba and somehow that ball ends up with MLS and then at Raya's feet again, it's hard to watch and what makes it worse is the minute we speed it up and players run into channels we look quite dangerous so what exactly is this insipid slow passing game we play
