No doubt it's been awry but there are signs we'd soon return to our best form.

It's sad seeing the team lose so many points but it's baffling how some are so desperate to scapegoat!

I hope Raptora is now convinced that Ode is pivotal to our play and many need to simply concluding that Martineli is regressing.

I hope with all my being that Merino finds his best form for us but those who wrote Partey off need to wake up from their slumbering.

Soon, we shall see the Arsenal we have come to know...

I'm glad to see someone else saw Martinelli having a good game.

There was one time he didn't pass for Timber after a run into the box and a shot into the near side netting when across the keeper would have been better but other than that he did well against probably the best defence out there at the moment.

He is willing to work at least.

Would love to have had Ethan on for 25 minutes or so.

That kid really has it

I think a win is getting closer... as multiple players have returned from injury, not yet 100%, Partey can play in midfield again, the back 4 can stabilise (I saw a stat that said the back 4 has changed like 10 times already) and with the captain coming back.... happy days.

The guy incharge of fitness at Arsenal must be going through the same things as Edu.

No doubt that we have missed Odegaard. Top class players can usually be covered for four or five games but the grind after that means that team performance inevitably drops which is what has happened. Apart from his excellence on the ball, he is our "press leader" and is important to enabling the team to get on the front foot more. than they have been doing.

I think Monaco points should be considered in the context of their opponents: Bologna, Dinamo Zagreb, Craven Zvezda and win against Barcelona, who played with 10 men for 80 minutes. For a home game I believe we have enough firepower and drive to secure the win.

Sporting is a tougher case, I agree. But:

a) they will lose their head coach by the time we play

b) they would be happy to split points given their current points and upcoming calendar.

There were chances vs Inter, some from set pieces, some had Havertz, Merino had one from the cross. At home the team is more confident and just common effort should be enough to score goals, like it was against PSG or Shakhtar.

Here is me hoping it will come soon! Performances go in cycles, they go down but can also go up.
