Pep Signs New Deal
Mr. Guardiola has signed a new deal with City—a one-year contract with a +1 option. This is interesting for a few reasons:
Did he sign the deal because he thought his players were underperforming due to uncertainty about his future?
Has he signed to project confidence that the charges against City will amount to nothing?
Are there any release clauses in case things go south?
Has he taken @BrexitBarry1998’s comment, “Pep could never do it in the Championship,” a bit too seriously?
