They’re playing with fire. Multiply clubs have been linked with him and the rumours all drop out one by one because of the ridiculous fee. He’ll get to the stage where he either runs his contract out or starts playing up to get a move. Palace are a well supported good club but they cant’ afford to let a player who has a realistic valuation of £35 – £40 million go on a free. If he’s worth £100 million why aren’t they paying him £250k plus a week?
