What player does 25 year old Granit Xhaka remind you of? For me, he is very reminiscent of a 34 year old Mikel Arteta. Arteta playing in his final couple of years was routinely caught out by pace and resorted to shirt pulling and cheap fouls to make up for it.
Talk of VAR total deflection .Wenger would be proud. If Xjaka is culpable for the first conceded goal not backing up his team mates and standing stock still in the six yard box with the CBs instead of pushing out and trying to block space between Sterling and the goal what do we say about Licht for the second goal conceded? Totally switched off and allowed Silva to run off him and had zero awareness of what was going on around him. Personally I wouldn’t fret too much about the Man City result. A first game versus the Champions was always going to be a tough ask.
It wasn’t a complete disaster.
Better for the new manager to see what the problems are and what he needs to do to solve them. Wenger didn’t want to admit he had a problem worth fixing.
I find it fucking hilarious that a certain tabloid runs with a story berating Emery after ONE game and basing that opinion on none other than fucking Sam Allardici of all people !!
And a super fan on here quotes him and supports it. AKBs are alive and well and won’t be going away anytime soon.

I am still excited for the season ahead no matter how we played on Sunday. We are a work in progress and the only players I would like to see being dropped is Xhaka
and Cech.Xhaka is one of the worse midfielders ive ever seen. Denilson was better than him which tells us something. I would give Emery 3 seasons to short out the team. All I want is for us to play UCL next season.

Back in the day when men were men, in the opening week of the 42 game season, there’d be 3 games: 1st on Saturday, 2nd on Tues/Wed and the 3rd on Saturday. We all waited till 5 o’clock on the 2nd Saturday to see the new league table after 3 matches. Great times. It was good for the teams to play right from the go as many games as possible, say you lost the first then only 3 or 4 days latter you right back at it. apparently, abaumeyang has told Emery he should start him and lacazzete.
he said he doesn’t mind playing from the left hand side to accommodate lacazette in the central area because of the chemistry between them.

Do you not see the options in red capital letters spotify, stitcher, itunes, google and pocket casts?
Stitcher is the easiest to listen on. Just press the stitcher option on that list.

That’s something at least, though it is likely that Lichtsteiner will start there I suppose.

I’m not sure about the way they both keep going on about that, it’s like they don’t want to be in competition with each other and both just want to play.
Neither way is really ideal though, you either have a great ST playing LM or you have Ozil/Mkhitaryan at LM and the other at RM meaning you are totally one pace and predictable.
