Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil is apparently back in the mixer after his iffy first game against Mexico. Mr Löw said this of the German’s reaction.

At 26, he’s at the right age, he’s never going to be more than a squad player for Madrid, so it’d be a good move for him.
Great to read that we’re going hard at signing in some additional attacking players. I’ve been wondering if the lack of sales is to do with the coach waiting to see him players in the flesh? Will there be a late July fire sale after a week? Or did the club do it’s big shifts in January?

The problem with buying elderly players is thus: it is an all or nothing toll of the dice…and that’s not good. Let’s say we get all of our targets…the average age of the squad would sky rocket. Brazil’s defending in the SF was non-existent and everything Germany hit ended up in the back of the net.

They smashed opponents in 2010 as well. Losing out only to the very good Spain.
They hardly struggled against Algeria and were in control of that match from start to finish. Argentina played very negatively in that final as they did the whole tournament.
