Arsenal fans spend 62% of time online fawning over new managers

Well, well, well…

It’s Thursday, and I’m in love…

WITH DIEGO.

What a manager, right?

On a pretty standard transfer budget, he continues to make serious magic happen over at Atletico Madrid. His team took down the greatest side of all time yesterday in magnificent fashion. Well drilled, hard working, blessed with some exceptional talent.

That Saul cross with the outside of his boot… Griezmann with THAT header. What a little player he’s turned out to be. I really thought he was a bit of a luxury when he was at his last club, but Simeone has turned him into an absolute beast of a player.

I mean, I feel like the back-end of this season has been mostly about purring over managers we can’t have at Arsenal. Someone was arguing with me that Simeone wouldn’t work well at Arsenal because he doesn’t have the players.

What… players that work hard, play in a system and work for each other?

If he can’t have that, then he’ll go out and buy new players and build the club out in his vision. Right now, I’m not really overly fussed about what system suits our players. We’re ripe for a new manager to come in and work some magic. Holes all over the squad with no set style of play.

Also, I’m pretty sure a manager like Simeone could take our current batch of failures to another level. He’d instill a rigorous work rate. He’d bring in a united team spirit. He’d curtail the bad behaviour of players like Sanchez. I’m sure he’d be able to turn The Ox into something that resembles fearsome.

… and if he couldn’t, he’d just bring in players that could do what he wanted.

He’s the last of the major name managers left in the game. He such a man beast. Would love to have him patrolling the lines. I also like that this success isn’t about one team, he’s done this sort of thing on other continents and he’s also had a dollop of failure. He’s a very capable manager in his prime. Would love him.

… but, you know we’ll play it super safe with Koeman.

But jeez, dare to dream for a moment… Arsenal, fearsome again. Wouldn’t that be grand?

On the injury front, we have players returning to the fold, just in time for the 6 game winning streak to the end of the season. Jack and Tomas are back after 3.5 years out of the game. Maybe they’ll make the bench? Kind of feel like we’ve got a nice groove going on with our side at the moment… I mean, attacking wise at least.

Cazorla and Chambo are back in the next couple of weeks too… so good news there!

On the transfer front, Jeremy Wilson dropped news that the club are willing to listen to offers for Gibbs and The Ox. I mean, I know The Ox has been pretty disappointing this season, but I still think he has a lot of attributes you look for in a young player. Explosive power, direct play, intelligence sometimes… I just think he’s been badly managed by Arsene. His confidence looks shot to pieces. Gibbs, well, I don’t think he has any balls… not sure he looks after himself that well… and he’s so injury prone. I’d happily see the back of him.

But how about Theo? I mean, we’re in a Nik B situation here, he’s so expensive, no one would dare touch him. A player massively in the comfort zone who we’re unlikely to shake off. I feel like we’ve been waiting 10 years for him to blossom into something we knew he was never capable of. A ripe example of why we’re not progressing under Wenger, he doesn’t identify weak links early enough… then he gives them new deals.

I’d also get shot of Giroud this summer… sell him while he’s semi hot (looks wise, fully, obvs).

Also, what about Rambo? I love him, but he does half play for himself. Put him under a strict coach who defines an exact role for him and he might be something special, but as it stands, he’s horribly overrated and quite dim on the pitch. It shouldn’t have been beyond his capabilities to work with Flamini in midfield. He should have been sharp enough to work out where it was all going wrong…

Anyway, getting into a rant here.

On a positive note. I love Bellerin. I love Iwobi. They’re all you need in life. I also think Gabriel will come good, he’s another confidence player, give him a run and I reckon he’ll shake those first full season Senderos vibes out of his game.

ALSO, I love Elneny. I think he’s a class act. He’s playing well, giving us something different… you know, like good pass completion rate and intelligent play. Give us a bit more power in the middle and we’ll start looking like a bit more of a force.

Right, that’s me over and out.

Enjoy the Dortmund / Liverpool game later! Tuchel and Klopp….

  1. Do one gambon

There is a good player in Ramsey. He just needs a manager to stop letting him do whatever the fuck he wants and make sure he has a defined role in the team.
Before he had his purple patch of goals a cpl years ago he played a lot of games in a row in centre midfield but he was disciplined and did his job, fans were raving.
Then he scored a few goals and for some reason Wenger then let’.him do whatever he wants, often anywhere but the position he was lined up in the first place.
Get Ramsey back to what he was before he thought he was Gerrad mk II and hes well worth keeping around.

Did anyone notice the Q&A on the BBC just now from the live coverage of the Liverpool game?
What would happen if Liverpool win the Uefa and City win the CL but finish 5th in the Prem? Would England have 6 Champions League entries next year. Answer, No. the team that finished 4th would miss out.
Imagine if the “4th place trophy” was yanked from the cabinet!!!

  3. Dissenter

I actually think City can win the CL.
    It’s the Guardiola effect.
His entry precedes a UEFA CL championship.

    Not true
Sevilla won Europa last year and Valencia came fourth in La Liga

Spain had Barca [La liga champions], Real Madrid, Athletico, Sevilla and Valencia in the CL. Valencia did have to qualify

  5. Joe

Most a league can have is 5 and only if the 5th team wins Europa.

So if city finish 5th and win CL , 4 th place miss out.

Regardless if Liverpool win the Uefa.

  6. Bamford10

Anyone remember when dipshits on here were claiming that Klopp was not improving things at Liverpool?

They may not be top four, but they’ve seen more glorious moments and better football this year than Arsenal fans have, and as long as Wenger remains at Arsenal, they definitely have the brighter future.

  7. Charlie Nick

To be honest I would say the following clubs have a brighter future:
    Man City
    Sp*rs
    West Ham
    Liverpool

Manure and Chelsea will depend on how any managerial changes go, but we know they have the financial firepower to back any incoming boss.
The only club in a terminal holding pattern is………….. Answers on a postcard to:
    Mr Absentee Landlord
    Obscenely Huge Ranch
    Good ‘ol US of A

  8. Emiratesstroller

What we are beginning to see are several teams in EPL playing “pressing and high tempo” football.

The question now is whether Arsenal and Wenger will follow suit or continue our wasteful and less direct game.

I think that the odds have shortened this week that both Man City and Liverpool could win European trophies, although Man City have still got some very good opposition in CL.

  9. Joe

Klopp demanded his players ‘give their grandchildren something to remember, make it a special night for the fans

Could you imagine wenger saying something like that??

    1) he could give two fucks about the fans
    2) he would demand nothing of his babies

  10. Bamford10

Watch the fourth Liverpool goal and the pandemonium that ensues afterward. When did Wenger last give Arsenal & Arsenal fans such glorious reason for joy? Ages ago.

Cannot wait till this fraud fucks off. The sooner, the better.

  11. shad

    @bamford,

I know man! Wenger only gets up to remonstrate with the 4th official over calls he thinks are against him. He’d rather play with hiz zipper than psyche up the team.
He would never motivate or tactically conjure a comeback of that proportion. And people like Wallace want him here for life. We are fucked.

  12. Rhys Jaggar

What does Mr Wood think about Herr Tuechel’s ability to organise a defence and defend a 2-goal lead?

If that had been Mr Wenger, what would commenters here have to say??!!

Just saying: I’m not defending Wenger, just saying that those you laud as great visionaries should be judged by the same standards……….

  13. Ughelligunner

We will never walk alone, the liverpool fans gave their all, unlike the arsenal doomers, see Liverpool who do not have hope of making top 4, having a believe, if that was arsenal we would have been laid back and petulant, booing rather than singing our hearts out.
The truth be told, tottenham and liverpool fans have life in them, compared to arsenal’s. I know some might say we have been deceived, misled and priced out, but what we are going through, those at spuds and Liverpool are going through it too (selling their best players).
I have noticed that no matter the kind of manager they have, they give their all and believe.
Any manager that comes into these two clubs, tend to do very well within the first 2-3 seasons. It was fun watching both supporters yesterday.

If Arsenal’s ticket was not that expensive, do we think we would have been happier?

  14. Jeff

    Rhys,

We’re not talking about one match, or one season or even a couple of seasons. We are talking about at least 12 years of the same mistakes being made over and over again and never learning from them. Any other manager who does that does not get to keep his job.

The situation at Arsenal is surreal. Wenger is an enigma. The football club itself has deviated from its definition, purpose of existence and standing. It is now nothing more than a “concern”.

  15. Ughelligunner

    Thank you Mr Rhys Jaggar.
Le-grove fans are flipflopers. Many times this season, Klopp’s Liverpool have lost matches in leading position and they have conceded alot. If that was wenger?

  16. Ughelligunner

Jeff, that is to say, if dortmund can do it against an average Liverpool side compared to them, they would do it regularly against sides in the Epl. Stop varying in your excuses.

  17. Joe

    Rhys

How many times have we blown it this season alone??

Did we not go to Liverpool and blow the lead a couple times ???

    Please don’t compare the two.

Wenger is an utter failure for 12 seasons.

Tuchel blew one lead at anfield. We do that every few weeks

  18. London gunner

“I think that the odds have shortened this week that both Man City and Liverpool could win European trophies, although Man City have still got some very good opposition in CL.”

    No shit Sherlock..

Emirates once again stating the obvious like he is some wise grand sage

  19. Wallace

i love Klopp, and don’t even mind watching the bin dippers now that he’s their manager, but i don’t think you can give him too much credit for last night. it was just one of those crazy Anfield evenings. BVB were leagues ahead of Liverpool for so much of the game. Tuchel must still be wondering how they’ve been knocked out.

  20. Samesong

Wallace don’t know if you ever have played footy. But when a manager says to you in the dressing room make this a night for your grandchildren to remember that would of got the players pumped up for that game and the result matters, not how good Dortmund played.

  21. shad

    @Rhys, Ughelli,

The difference between Liverpool, BVB and us is that one team of the 3 has had a manager make numerous attempts in 20 years to make a dent in Europe and has perenially failed. Go figure.

  22. Wallace

    Samesong

i’m sure Klopp’s as good as it gets when it comes to motivating his players. just saying the game reminded me a lot of our home victories over Barca & Bayern – incredible results, but nobody was in any doubt about who the better team were.

  23. gonsterous

    Ugh

Maybe the reason spurs and Liverpool fans give it their all, is because they know their voices are heard. They know if a manager is not performing to their liking the board members will take the right steps in ensuring someone else comes in.. can the same be said of Afc ?? No. Does Wenger listen or respect the fans ?? No. Does the board have what it takes to take the right steps regarding arsenal ? No.
So Of course we are not happy

  24. Red&White4life

    Paul Merson:
“Arsenal are the best team in the world when the pressure is off.”

    What a perspicacity, Paul!!

  25. Mick Kartun

The pressure is off is a condition in which a man can’t achieve or maintain an erection to perform.

So arsene babies would erect only when no thugs squeezed their balls so hard.
The opponents must squeeze their balls gently.

  26. Ughelligunner

Paul is a doughnut, the period where we always faulter always coincides with our injuries. It is never pressure. There was pressure to qualify from our group with a minimum of 3 goals, and wenger motivated the boys. Pressure to win a trophy after 10years trophyless season answer we went with 4. Even the kastrom people joke about, helped us in our penalty shoot out to get to the final of our Fa cup. That’s pressure. Stop licking Paul Mersons a**, that sacked sh*t has a vendetta against wenger for sacking him.

  27. Drey

    ughelligunner,

“the period where we always faulter concides with injuries. It is never pressure”

    HAHAHAHAHAHA

  28. Ughelligunner

Drey, most AOBs believe we should always be prepared for the injuries because it is inevitable and i agree.

Or do you think, the pressure made them to injure themselves?

  29. Adam A. Carbarundum

You love Elneny, Pedro? How long before you throw him to the scrap pile like you have the others that you write about in this article? You are so full of yourself! The answer to all of them is that they are victims of an insipid manager. Given a new manager the majority will likely flourish, because as you say they will find order and purpose to their game.

Must be a tough day for you, Pedro….sunshine and beer make the brain go mush. Vampires like you need the great indoors.

  30. Drey

I’ve got nothing to say to you man. The mere fact that you can fall back to the old narrative of injuries costing us every season makes me understand that you will never see the light (or maybe you see it,but choose to block it with your own hands). Cheers

  31. gambon

Its nothing to do with injuries, its 100% to do with pressure.

This team does not respect the manager. They turn up when they feel like it, because they know the sentimental old fool wont do anything when they underperform.

Its no wonder they cant perform, the manager is a nervous wreck on the touchline, often completely paralysed by fear, which leads to him sitting there holding himself like he’s got the shits on the bench.

Look at this video for fuck sake….this is the man to lead us to PL & CL glory?

  32. Ughelligunner

Gambon, even the almighty Ferguson was shaking incredibly when Barcelona tore his team apart at wembley. Wenger is no Different. Mourhino sat on the floor when Real Madrid played Munich in the penalty shoot out, Simeone the new dog could’nt watch his sides penalty shoot out against an average PSV side.

Every old dog, has his day.o

  33. Ughelligunner

I have always agreed with you that wenger isn’t stern enough to his players, hence the mediocre players are still here. But that is a different story altogether. Neither the great managers of the world would agree to keep them too. So in actual fact, we need better players.

  34. STV

“Just saying the game reminded me a lot of our home victories over Barca & Bayern – incredible results..

One Barca win and a lifetime to cherish!!

  35. gambon

But Wenger wont buy these players, dont you understand that?

    – He wont pay top end money, which is vital to getting to players
    – He wont tolerate strong characters in the dressing room
    – He has no desire to win trophies, so why the need for top players?

  36. Red&White4life

“the period where we always faulter concides with injuries. It is never pressure”

One of the greatest quote in Le Grove history so far.

  37. Emiratesstroller

What we saw last weekend is just how fragile Arsenal are when it comes to defending.

We make consistently the same mistakes over several years and everyone bar
the Manager and Coaching Team seem to understand the problem.

One of the reasons that both Spurs and Leicester are in top two positions in the League is that they are very difficult to beat i.e. better organised than we are.

  38. Dissenter

    Ughelli
    You’re an insufferable git
I don’t see you as a gooner. You support Wenger which is very different.
It’s Wenger first, Arsenal second for you.

  39. Sensible old man

I don’t comment a lot but like to read the comments – this ‘ughelli’ idiot ruins it though, hes such a cunt. Can u please go to ‘untold Arsenal’ and comment on there instead?

  40. STV

“One of the reasons that both Spurs and Leicester are in top two positions in the League is that they are very difficult to beat”

R&W, here is your another candidate. lol..

  41. Arsene's Nurse

I hope we don’t qualify for the CL. Arsenal in the competition is pointless and the 4th place trophy is only celebrated by Wenger and his sycophantic acolytes. The club only want the place for money.

Then you can watch Wenger fail even after he blames playing in Europe leaves Arsenal at a disadvantage and Leicester at an advantage.

  42. Wallace

i make a comment, another poster replies but misses the point of it, and then gambon comes along and attacks the mangled interpretation. god bless the internet.

  43. Leedsgunner

Let’s just shoot the white elephant in the room and state the obvious.

Other managers in top clubs understand Europe. Even Pellegrini after not making inroads into Europe in his past two attempts with Man City seems to have cracked it.

Wenger? Understand it? Not a chance. What’s worse is that he doesn’t WANT to understand it.

All he’s worried about is qualifying for the competition, so he can justify his own existence at the club in his own mind.

What do you think elite players, (players we should be targeting) , and the best up and coming youth players remember more? Nights like the ones served up by Liverpool last night or the ones served up by us versus Barcelona?

  44. MuddyGooner

    ughelligunner

“the period where we always faulter concides with injuries. It is never pressure”

You know that’s not true. You’ve got to be an imposter to say stuff like that.

Pedro’s next post should be dedicated to the above absurd quotes !

  45. Cesc Appeal

The people having a go at Tuchel, especially the pro-Wenger ones are hilarious, I didn’t think the BvB defence was good at all over both legs, but trying to state ‘if that was Wenger you’d all go mad,’ tell you what, lets wait and see if this BvB team under Tuchel makes those exact same mistakes for the next ten years and then lets jump all over him.

  46. Relieable Sauce

The world has moved on, the excitement that surrounds next seasons PL doesnt include Wenger and Arsenal.
Arsene will soon be as obscure as he has made Arsenal and he will hate it.

  47. Leedsgunner

“The people having a go at Tuchel, especially the pro-Wenger ones are hilarious, I didn’t think the BvB defence was good at all over both legs, but trying to state ‘if that was Wenger you’d all go mad,’ ”

    Perhaps.

The truth is Wenger keeps on doing it… and such sentiments ignore the obvious. Tuchel has led his team to the business end of a European competition. When was the last time Wenger did that?

What is it now 6 years running that we’ve been knocked out in the 2nd round?

    People in glass houses…

I have a lot more faith in Tuchel to lead his team to greatness and silverware in the next 3 years than Wenger will do for our club.

  48. STV

Wallace, the point is its ridiculous to cite any of these victories as equivalent to Liverpool. Our victories were a joke, fluked and with no real value as we always gets knocked-out.

As far as your insightful assumption, when was the last time you see Arsenal winning against a top team being playing better.?? Don’t state the obivious pick something else and think outside of your Wanger box.

  49. Cesc Appeal

    Leeds

That’s what I went on to say, wait and see if these things happen under Tuchel for the next ten years, then shout.

That’s what I think people who are pro-Wenger deliberate pretend not to get, it isn’t about any one result, or some moment in isolation, its a cumulative effect over the last ten years of the exact same mistakes, the exact same failings in Wenger that mean the anger after a result like Old Trafford is so intense, because it was so predictable, but more than that, we all know nothing will be done to remedy it.

That’s why I say, there is not an excuse left now, because they’ve been used every year for the past ten years, anyone talking about injuries or lack of quality needs to have a long word with themselves and check their agenda.

  50. Leedsgunner

“That’s why I say, there is not an excuse left now, because they’ve been used every year for the past ten years, anyone talking about injuries or lack of quality needs to have a long word with themselves and check their agenda.”

    Cesc

We think there is not an excuse but the mind of the Wengerite is ingenious.

Remember earlier this year, somebody on Le Grove defended Wenger not spend in the summer on outfield players on the basis that the club upgraded the training ground… priceless.

When people go to that length to defend Wenger… what can you do but walk away?

  51. Red&White4life

“How many young players did Wenger miss?”

So there is in fact TWO “I almost signed” lists ??
    Damned!!

  52. Leedsgunner

Funny that he almost signs the contract with dozens and dozens players BUT there’s one contract he never forgets to sign… his own.

Sadly, it sounds like Mr. Wenger is determined to completely ruin Arsenal FC into his own very sad and sorry image.

Shame we can’t vote him out.

  53. Wallace

    STV

“Wallace, the point is its ridiculous to cite any of these victories as equivalent to Liverpool. Our victories were a joke, fluked and with no real value as we always gets knocked-out. ”

heck, you’ve had two tries and missed my point both times.

i wasn’t comparing our wins over Barca & Bayern to Liverpool’s win last night. in all three games – Ars vs Barca, Ars vs Bayern, Liv vs BVB – the far better team lost, was my point(i’m talking about that particular game, not the tie overall). despite the result my overall impression was that BVB under Tuchel are a hell of a side. the result was just one of those crazy European nights.

  54. Steveyg87

Excellent atmosphere at Anfield from both sets of fans, truth be told, the Dortmund fans were on another level. Wenger blaming the fans for the results and lack of atmosphere needs to look in the mirror and ask himself why?

Fans have to meet the team half way, heads drop on the field waaay too quickly when things aren’t going our way. The fans pick up on the teams vibe and react accordingly. to suggest that the fans are fickle, especially arsenal fans, isn’t entirely incorrect. I mean, read le groves comments and you’ll know why.

We are paying top dollar to watch a team that has no fight. We need to get rid of this tag of us being a classy club, fuck that shit, we are NOT classy, football is not a classy game. the dark arts and pantomime villians have their place in this game, its what makes football so beautiful. You never know what to expect, unless its arsenal, endless bottling and no fight

  55. Red&White4life

“…the result was just one of those crazy European nights.”

The kind of night we know very well, as arsenal fans.

  56. Dream10

BVB’s quality of football in the second half of the season has dipped in comparison to the first half. Same with Barcelona. Their defenders have been poor for a couple of weeks.

  57. Dream10

    Wallace

Origi has some raw material to work with. Like the look of him when he played for Belgium at the 2014 World Cup. He reminds me a little of Kluivert once in a while.
No where near the technique or first touch though.

  58. @snoekrats

Arent Liverpool 9th in the league? can’t be bothered to check.

Point is it was a crazy result – but Dortmund should have finished it off.

They arent by any means a great team.

  59. STV

Wallace if there were crazy european nights Arsenal weren’t involved in it. Teams like Real madid and Liverpool were, multiple times, with their extraordinary comebacks and there’s a reason why they are considered among the greats in these competitions.

Any way I leave you to your original insightful analysis that, in both cases you suggested, weaker team won.

  60. Bamford10

By your assertion, following the comments you made about Tuchel and wenger, how many years did it take klopp to manage dortmund before dropping out of contention for champions league? Well since you still rave after him (klopp) too. Well will see with this current dortmund side. It is just time. And arsenal fans are good with waiting.

As for Origi, he is playing because Bamford best striker in the world (benteke) is sh*t. Remind us again pls…

“Just saying the game reminded me a lot of our home victories over Barca & Bayern – incredible results..”

It’s amazing that these brain dead comments keep getting regurgitated.

Celebrate individual results and ignore the big picture.

Real Socieadad just beat Barcelona. The year Bayern won the UCL they got beat by a lower league club.

The nature of the game lends itself to shock results more than any other sport.

But yes let’s celebrate Wenger beating Barcelona at the Emirates years ago(we won nothing that year).Let’s celebrate beating Bayern in Munich years ago(we won nothing that year).

Let’s keep celebrating anomaly results and ignoring the bigger failures over a long period.

    LOL

    Christ almighty.

  69. Jeff

    Tits,

This is the only thing left for them to talk about. We beat certain teams, we went unbeaten 12 years ago, we consistently finish top four, we beat Leicester twice, we have a new stadium, blah blah blah. But when you ask about things that actually matter (as in major trophies), none of them wants to admit that 3 PLs in 20 years and none in 12 is not good enough. It doesn’t matter what Wenger does or doesn’t do, they will always fall over themselves to come to his defence at the cost of ruining this club. It’s madness – absolute sheer lunacy.

  70. loyika

Has there been any other case of a Ref being dropped for a game due to his allegiance!?

Can’t remember any other case like this? How KF must feel being thrown under the bus by the FA.

  71. TheBayingMob

” … the period where we always faulter always coincides with our injuries. It is never pressure”

Quite simply, that is laughable. It’s so lame I can’t even be bothered to go through the last few seasons and pick out chokes and losses with almost a full team out.

An easy one though; Man United away this season is the one that rolls off the tongue. Missing Corzola only we choked to a United squad that could barely get 11 fit players on the pitch without raiding a local Salford crèche.

Whoever wrote that is the worst kind of Wenger apologist and a fucking moron.

@Jeff. For me it isn’t the trophy haul over those barren 12 years, but the fact that we were miles away and made no serious challenge to the top team in each season.

No one would expect Arsenal to be coming second by 3 points season after season, yet we never got close. You would expect a manager to build towards winning a title given the resources. Arsenal and Wenger don’t even try.

That’s what gets me, it’s the complete lack of desire and ambition at the club, which now runs from the owner through the manager and down to the players.

Arsenal finished 2nd to Chelsea in 2004/5, yet were still 12 points behind. We haven’t finished in 2nd place since. Whilst I, along with every other person who wants Wenger to leave acknowledges that the stadium build and relocation was a difficult period and hampered spending, it doesn’t negate the fact that Wenger has had significant money since around 2010. One would expect a serious title challenge to be mounted in that time, yet none came. None.

Today we see the same failings and the same lack of will to challenge, even though the financial constraints are long gone and AFC have witnessed the failure of the traditional big clubs this year.

I’ve no problem with a manager trying and failing, but to have a manager that doesn’t try and an owner, board, club and a large section of fans who are happy not to, try irks me.

    AN,

It’s all about being bold and taking a chance. Wenger doesn’t want to do that. He will not take any risks on big money players – so instead he opts to buy cheap nobodies because he believes in his own hype that he can turn talentless players into world class ones. He can’t, he never could – nobody can. Players like Henry, Vieira and Pires came with talent already installed.

You take players like Chamakh, Bendtner, Sanogo, Squillaci, Djourou or even Giroud and you can wait as long as you like – they will never in a million years become world class. So he makes sure we have at least 3 or 4 class players and makes the rest up with second-rate or mediocre dross. The result is, we can never win big things but we have enough to finish near the top.

It’s a balancing game that he’s been playing all these years and has been getting away with it. Couple that with the enormous ego issues, intransigence and the fact that he has no tactical or motivational skills and you have yourself a loser through and through.

What the AKBs see is a string of top four finishes, marginal success in the beginning, a shiny new stadium and the brainless media who praises the manager non-stop without thinking about the club itself. The AKBs find this very hard to resist and rationalise about how successful Wenger has been over these 20 years. They’ve been brainwashed into all this over many years of conditioning. A person who can think for himself can always see through the bullshit – the AKBs can’t.
