Arsenal v United. Let’s make this the big one again

Greetings from Sunday morning y’all, Alex here with a short post.

So its the big one today against Manchester United: league leaders and flavour-of-the-month-fraudulent-over-achievers. This fixture used to be massive, an intense blistering affair packed full of, not just the best players in the league, but the nastiest bastards you’d ever care to meet.

I met someone recently who knows Dennis Irwin. Apparently to this day he still despises Arsenal. Not because we were the best, but because we were the nastiest team he ever played against. I’m not advocating we turn into a bunch of cheats, but I kind of yearn for the times when teams absolutely hated playing against us. Do you reckon any of that United midfield are worried about Santi Cazorla bullying them off the park today in the way Viera used to? I doubt it.

Ah but look at me, its Sunday morning and I’ve become one of those “we need leader’s on the pitch” people. Maybe it’s not that, I just want to see some fire in the players’ bellies today. United are a bunch of evil bastards and we should be going out there for a battle.

In terms of team news, our best defender, Laurent Koscielny, is crocked. I’m pretty happy with Per and Gabriel as a pairing though. We can expect to see Theo up top, and after his strong display against Leicester, lets hope he’s got his shooting boots on.

There’s not really much else going on today… oh yeah other than HUGE LOL at Chelsea’s meltdown, have you ever seen a Championship winning side turn south so dramatically? Also big man love for Kun Aguero. What a sexy player.

I’m going to be at the game today, unbelievably only my second home game all season, I’m such a shit fan. Hopefully see some of you there.

Here’s to a strong performance and three points. Up the Arsenal!

    underrated coq

He also got mainz relegated… He has a chequered history. I don’t think its a gamble that would pay off.

  2. underrated Coq

” I hope Sanchez is well. However for me the unspoken hero was one Theo Walcott. Walcott was great today, shame he didn’t land on the scoresheet — did everything right otherwise. His best performance this season. ”

Damn straight ! I think Wenger said something along the lines of- ” This is the most committed/ passionate display I’ve ever seen from him ”

Also think Theo helps Sanchez and Ozil flourish more. Really enjoyed some of their combination play.

Is it mere coincidence that Sanchez was scoring for fun when Giroud was nursing that ankle injury last season, started struggling a bit when Giroud came back but is now firing again after Giroud got relegated to the bench ?

  3. Danny

Definitely made a difference mentally without Van Persie playing against us, the team started without any fear of Man U today that we haven’t seen for years.
That first 19 minutes was some of the best ever by an Arsenal team.

  4. Emiratesstroller

Excellent performance and result today. It was a must win game and they produced it.

Messrs Ozil,Sanchez and Walcott all showed us what they can do up front. Cech also produced a couple of sterling saves.

However, I still believe that there is room for improvement in the squad/team.
We need to improve the physical strength in midfield. Cazorla is an excellent
playmaker going forward, but I am concerned how easy it is to push him of the
ball when he is closed down as was case in second half.

The defence did not concede a goal today, but they need sometimes to be a
little more composed when under pressure. Too often they give unnecessarily
the ball away to opposition rather than clear clinically the lines.

Manchester United for all their expenditure have still got a long way to go before becoming a title winning team. They have acquired a lot of experience in
midfield but are those who played today really top draw? I don’t think so.

Despite the limited service I was impressed by Martial. I think that he has the makings of outstanding player

One further food for thought. Bayern Munich demolished Borussia Dortmund
5-1 today. Maybe Arsenal need to focus on the EPL this year rather than using
too much energy and resources on Champions League Football, which I suspect is now a potential lost cause.

  5. underrated Coq

Okay, fair enough London Gunner. I would love Ancelloti at Arsenal but isn’t Simeone’s style of management a bit similar to Jose’s ? More pragmatic than artistic, bit of applied ‘dark arts’ as well.

  6. Marko

London no offense pal but you’re talking nonsense. You predicting the fall of Klopp and the resurgence of Bayern is the equivalent of saying Simeone is a one season wonder

  7. Dissenter

Klopp shouldn’t have agreed to take over in mid-season

He doesn’t have the tools to do well at Liverpool
They will probably go for German players now since that’s the market Klopp understands well.

Not good for the young English men at Liverpool.

  8. london gunner

    Marko

But he didn’t just fall into second place. Like many predicated.

He crashed and burned which I did predict.

Not many people had Dortmund down for missing out on CL footie in a weak league like the bundesliga.

People who didn’t watch bundesliga during Klopps back to back title winning seasons don’t understand the context of those wins. There was literally no other competition as Bayern were in crisis mode. So yes it was impressive, but not as impressive as many would presume.

  9. Dissenter

    London,
As many have said already, you’re dead wrong about Klopp.

A manager who won the bundesliga back to back against the mighty Bayern and also took them to a CL final isn’t good enough for you.

That said, he’s not taking over Liverpool at a good time.
His first season is going to be a bust, IMO

  10. vicky

I agree with London here. Klopp is a bit over-rated. Many love him more because of his personality than his tactical acumen. If Wenger is a one trick pony, Klopp is no different.

  11. Dissenter

    London,
Winning any major league BACK-BACK is no mean feat.
Why are you trying so hard to belittle Klopp’s accomplishment.

Even Wenger never did th back to back at Arsenal

Klopp’s demise started after Bayern bought off the better talents in his team.
You don’t like him we get that, but the way you’re going on and on is bemusing.

What “crises” were Bayern in at the time? Care to educate us?

  12. Malaysiangunner

This is my first time commenting, just to ask this: did Bamford10 ever acknowledge that he lost his ‘wager’ that Man United would finish above us last season? He was challenging just about everybody that he ‘knew’ Man U were a better team, daring anyone to take him on. I just can’t believe anyone would still have the cheek to still talk about ‘wagers’ after that.

To Bamford: what is the secret to your self confidence?

  13. london gunner

“A manager who won the bundesliga back to back against the mighty Bayern and also took them to a CL final isn’t good enough for you.”

You are really stupefying it. The context you need to look at!

Bayern weren’t the mighty bayern at that time. They were a club in crisis with all sorts of internal rifts in the dressing room and within management.

At the same time winning the bundlsiga is no way as good as an achievement as winning La liga where simeone had Barcelona AND Real madrid to contend with. Its double the problems. Double the elite competition.

Klopp getting to the final was best on his novel tactics which have been rumbled.

He is a manager who starts well, but then dips terribly look at this time at Mainz (had them relegated) and Dortmund almost relegated them.

The irony of those calling fo rKlopp is that his football CV reads much like Wengers. A manager who initially does well then struggles to adapt.

You also have to ask yourself if he is so great why has he gone to a shit club like liverpool?

  14. bacaryisgod

Not sure if Brenda was already on his way out, but his criticism of Liverpool’s transfer activity definitely made it a guaranteed sacking.

Perfect time for Liverpool with both Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti available.

  15. london gunner

How can people not see the irony of calling for Klopp its like they are subconsciously Wengerfied.

    Wenger/Klopp

    Tactically inflexible
    No plan B
    Philosophy/Ideology over pragmatism
    Stubborn
manages his team in a way that increases injuries
Starts well, but can;t adjust leading to a dip into failure.
    Cult of Personality

    1. FSV Mainz 05
Upon his retirement playing for 1. FSV Mainz 05, Klopp was appointed as the club’s manager. He remained as manager for seven years, during which time he led the team to its first appearance in the Bundesliga, and qualification for the 2005–06 UEFA Cup. At the end of the 2006–07 season, Mainz 05 were relegated, but Klopp chose to remain with the club. However, due to the fact that they were not able to achieve promotion, he resigned at the end of the 2007–08 season.

Wenger joined Ligue 2 (then called Division 2) club AS Cannes as assistant manager in 1983.[42] A year later, through the recommendation by Aldo Platini (father of Michel Platini) he became manager of Nancy, who participated in Ligue 1.[42] At the end of the 1984–85 season, his first as a manager, Nancy finished 12th in the league, three places higher than in the previous campaign.[43] However, the club ended the 1985–86 season in 18th position, which meant they had to win a play-off match to avoid relegation.[42] In Wenger’s final season in charge, Nancy finished 19th and were relegated to Ligue 2.[42] Aldo defended the appointment of Wenger and stated, “It wasn’t [his] fault. He had no money to spend”.

They both go on to win titles. They have both then start a downward descent in terms of results and trophies.

  16. Leedsgunner

So is Klopp definitely coming to Liverpool? If so, he has gone down in my estimation. Thought he was more savvy and self respecting than that.

Poisoned chalice of a job… and a joke of a club, now officially the Tottenham of the North.

  17. bacaryisgod

Anyone knocking Klopp is an idiot. He has proven pedigree but it does remain to be seen if his management style will translate to managing an average Liverpool team with more than its’ fair share of English slow adults (Milner, Henderson, Ings etc).

  18. salman

Great game. Why cannot our flow and passing be that urgent in every game, I will never understand. Still feels good to beat the scum by that margin.

  19. london gunner

    barcary

no need to be so childish with the insults.

not saying he is a rubbish manager just an inflexible one.

he is good just not world class and I think we could do better.

  20. northern gooner

Talk about klopp and the redshite tomorrow.

We have just pasted the manc fuckers.
Im am off work tomorrow but thinking of nipping in just for a laugh at the arrogant mancs. Not one of them has text me back and i get shit off them even when we draw.
Wenger still out but i am enjoying today.

  21. london gunner

“Maybe Klopp losing his best players to Bayern had something to do with their decline”

Even so they still comfortably had the second best squad in the league. So no excuse to losing out on CL spot.

  22. nigel tufnel

really. again… sorry for the haters. Arsenal won. fighting for top spot…

regardless of gambon and his hero mourinho …

same for that sick, confused loser bamford.

and many others who were talking trash about Arsenal this morning.

for the real gooners, imagine if no mike dean, and if Ramseys rightful goal had stood against liverpool.
but we are right there anyway.

  23. R.S.P.C.Arsenal

    No doubt Tom Tom
Will be on here later spouting the Wenger commandants ….

    Nice win today
Well now we concertrAte on the next game
    One game don’t win league,
Wenger got to get them to do that ?

Can he tho ….I doubts it

  24. Ozy

Haha I love it when the footballing geniuses on here like London and Bamford act as if their opinions are huge revelations that nobody else would have possibly foreseen but them and their astounding foresight.

Man City favorites to win the league. Bayern was going to rise again. Not rating Klopp.

London, mind explaining how much better Dortmund already looks under Tuchel after 8 games than they did with back to back title wining and CL Finalists, who destroyed Real Madrid in the process, Dortmund under Klopp?

I swear, the amount of shit you people pull out of your asses … is it some ego thing? What do some of you get out of being proven right or coming off as if you see things others don’t in an anonymous football blog? It’s a drag.

  25. underrated Coq

I must say, again, I was immensely pleased with Arsenal’s performance today. How good it feels to finally thrash United after years of misery and pain against them. Truth be told, it was a bit of a role-reversal from Arsenal-United matches of recent years.

They had all the pointless possession with no penetration while we were direct and incisive in our passing, ruthless in our attacking. Simply glorious.

I hated the sight of Ronaldo taking on our hapless fullbacks, nightmarish stuff. Tonight it will be the United fans having nightmares about Alexis Sanchez, hahahaaa !

  26. Moita

SAF: “Arsene has taken a lot of flak,” “But who is going to replace him? Who is going to make it better? “It is a very difficult position for anyone who comes in after Arsene and has to change the philosophy he introduced, and kept, for all those years.”

  27. Bamford10

Except I never claimed that picking City to win the title was some “revelation”. The opposite: for me, anyone with eyes could/can see they’re the class of the league.

The only reason this pick became an issue was because of people saying it was “too early to tell” or that they disagreed that City were a level above.

You’re the only “drag” here, Ozy, and you’re just as argumentative as anyone else. You’re even worse, though, because the only input you ever give here are snipes at other posters.

I do agree, though, that London is dead wrong with respect to Klopp and agree that his assessment is ridiculous.

Klopp wins the Bundesliga twice, clobbers Madrid en route to a CL final, clobbers a very good Bayern team in the League Cup final, but he is a poor manager, a “one-trick pony”? Too silly an opinion to comment on.

Call me when Wenger even challenges for the title or advances past the round of 16 in the CL. Has been ages since he did either, and he has a much bigger budget than Klopp ever had.

  28. Wenger's Plastic Bottle

Arsenal fans so elated after beating Man Utd shows how far Arsenal have fallen behind

So you don’t support Arsenal? Pathetic comment

  29. Dissenter

    London ,
You still haven’t explained the crises that Bayern were in for two consecutive seasons. Bayer is one of the best run clubs on the planet. It’s former footballers who run Bayern from top down.
    What crises?

Unless you’re referring to the panic caused by been beaten to the title and domestic cup by Dortmund

Bayern went anti-competition on Dortmund, signing Lewandowski and Reus mid season. They didn’t even having the decency to delay the announcements.
Never seen that happen before and won’t ever see it recur. It was grossly indecent on Bayern’s part because it gutted their main rivals.

Dortmund crashed because of injuries, brought in part by their playing style.

What crises are you referring to?

  30. Dissenter

Klopp would not have bought Milner and even Firminio

They are going to raid the Bundesliga in the summer.

I expect Barcelona to come after Coutinhio in the winter. Neymar has already tapped him up.

Ramsey is going to be disappointed.

  31. Goona

I dont give a fuck about any other team at mo we just spanked manure….it should of been by more! We missed easier chances than we scored, could easily been 8…chech was awsome other end too….COYG…..that performance was the arsenal of old….direct, quick & decisive…

  32. Dissenter

Brendan did not win a single trophy at Liverpool

FSG appear to be the adults here. It doesn’t look like he was hard done.
He started last season big headed but everyone knew that Suarez carried that team on his back.

  33. vicky

John Henry has no understanding of football though. What’s the point in giving Brendan Rodgers over 100m to spend and then not even carry on with him for half the season. If they had any doubt about him, they should have sacked him in the summer and given that fund to a new manager. Now,Klopp or whoever is appointed will have to play with the Milners and Ings of the world. First they allowed Dalglish to burn cash, then Rodgers…..and probably won’t have any funds for the new manager who will have to play with rank average players for the whole season.

  34. qna

Reus to Liverpool may now be a possibility. I think he will raid the bundesliga but only 1 or 2 max from Dortmund.

Be interesting to see if he goes with youth over established players. Liverpool have a lot of rebuilding to do to break into the top 4.

  35. vicky

“Klopp wins the Bundesliga twice, clobbers Madrid en route to a CL final, clobbers a very good Bayern team in the League Cup final, but he is a poor manager, a “one-trick pony”? Too silly an opinion to comment on.”

Wenger had invincibles, 3 league trophies, reached to the final of CL like Dortmund…….so what’s your point. As always peoples’ view is totally obscured by results, they fail to look at the nuances. Mourinho exerted his squad last season to win the league and now you can see the fallout of over-exertion last season. Dortmund had a similar problem. Also, most of you say he lost players to bayern and hence struggled……..Arsenal and Wenger lost players to City and United as well but then you shout Wenger out everyday, don’t you ?

The point is like Wenger,Klopp is kind of a romantic. Not a pragmatic and tactically astute manager. Everybody is enthralled by them when they win but when it goes ti*s up, it becomes messy.

  36. STV

“The point is like Wenger,Klopp is kind of a romantic. Not a pragmatic and tactically astute manager. Everybody is enthralled by them when they win but when it goes ti*s up, it becomes messy.”

Good that you write it Otherwise its very hard to understand your point

  37. vicky

“Good that you write it Otherwise its very hard to understand your point”

You are not the sharpest tool in the box………so hardly a surprise.

  38. Up 4 grabs now

    Just back from the game.
Mike Riley, Mick Hucknall, james nesbitt, eamon holmes, Rachel Riley, Rooney’s granny prostitute (although I think she might be scouse) Bobby Charlton, Alex Ferguson, half of Surrey, Gail from coronation street!

Your boys took one hell of a whooping!

    Come on you gunners!

Oh and Wenger out ( unless he actually wins the league)

  39. steve

    LeMassiveCoqOctober 4, 2015 19:33:06
Ramsey was fucking shocking today. Agree?

Ramsey was always an average player to be fair. One season wonder.

  40. jwl

I surprised Rodgers got sack so soon, I thought he would at least get some time. Rodgers seems like good manager, maybe over promoted, should stay at Swansea level. Liverpool are weird club because they so demanding but they live on past glory, nothing to do with reality.

    daz:

“Jurgen Klopp, the former title-winning coach of Borussia Dortmund, and the three-time Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti are both in the frame to replace him. However, despite claims that Klopp has already agreed a three-year contract with Liverpool’s owner, FSG has not approached the charismatic German coach as yet.”

    http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/oct/04/brendan-rodgers-sacked-liverpool-manager

  41. sam

Yes we won but don’t forget Ramsey’s still the elephant in the room
I am not sure Wenger is waiting for Chamberlain to step up or Campbell
Walcott is benefit alot from Sanchez, Imagine If we had similar player on the right. Ramsey wasted so many good chances.

  42. Loyika

You guys really like this Bullshyte about bigging up other Managers!? Klopp has a 50% chance of being a success at Liverpool (If he is chosen as the next Manager) Football isn’t mathematics, being a success at one club doesn’t mean you will get it right at another.

So many things come into play. It’s like when Spurs were appointing Maureen Mach 2 and now Mauricio. Then there was the Laudrop love in? Where is he now? Jose went to Real based on hype and got slaughtered by the Real Machinery. Same as when Cappello was named as Enguland Manager? Is Rafa the best coach for Real? No but he understands the politics of being a Madrid man.

Pep almost walked away from Bayern as he was under pressure from the politics involved in being a Bayern Manager regardless of whether he played/managed Barca.

There was a Cruyff documentary i watched a while back about politics in football when it comes to some big teams (with his emphasis on Barca.

That’s why it amuses me when people go on and on about this and that Manager and how great they are? Maureen is good but United hierarchy didn’t want him near their club. We fans are always short sighted and get excited by the “the next best thing” but we forget that apart from going to games and spending money to follow your team WE DON’T RUN SHYTE IN THESE CLUBS!!

And every club owner/s have what they are looking for and that translate to 80% of how a manager fares at any given club or country he chooses to coach no matter how world class we claim that manager is.

Lets see how Klopp does first for a season and a half at Pool (if he is the chosen one) before we all spunk our load.

  43. Dissenter

There was talk that Klopp was waiting for the Bayern job

The sporting press in England are full of shite, the reports about Klopp agreeing to a deal weren’t true.

  44. Wallace

i wonder if Mourinho cacking things up at Chelsea has something to do with Liverpool sacking Rodgers so early. 4th spot still up for grabs while they’re doing an excellent QPR.

  45. Cesc Appeal

Reus to Liverpool will never happen, Klopp or not. Not a chance. More likely to go to Munich, Madrid or maybe one of the top clubs here, maybe.

Really nice watching the game back again, it changes absolutely nothing for me, Wenger still needs to go ASAP, but it was just such a release, particularly that first 20 minutes to see us playing with pace, possession had purpose and was pointed toward scoring, taking chances, one touch interplay…brilliant.

Sanchez is just a dream. And a big thumbs up for Walcott today, did everything right and his decision making was spot on, his work rate as well was Sanchez like in bursts, forced one or two mistakes from De Gea and then United defence.

You get the sense today that the team knew they had to do something, that a bad performance/result would have been seriously bad for them, the club and the manager who is on thin ice.

  46. sam

One thing arsenal players still doing,

trying to dibble or short pass just outside the box and its has cost us in the past
They need to cut it out

just kick the ball out, please

  47. sam

Bring back Wellington Silva in January
He’s surely better right winger than Ramsey

Wenger is sooo stupid, its unbelievable

  48. Wallace

“We were properly played off the pitch for those first twenty minutes.. schooled..! it got to a point where it became hard to feel upset and just enjoy the show – a bit like the Brazil fans who applauded Schürrle’s goal towards the end of that semifinal..

Walcott, Sanchez and Özil – bravo, and (grudgingly) thank you for the entertainment.. also a shout out to Cech and his defence to not allow us to crawl back in to this no-contest, especially towards the end of the first half, where a goal might have made some difference..

Congrats to the Arsenal fans – and to that man Wenger of course.. take a bow sir, and please do gloat a bit – people forget your good moments easily..

As for us.. 4-3-3 please, if we want to play both Carrick and Schweini!”

    – Utd fan

  49. Ulstersaysarse

    Redtruth

Fed up with your negative input. Can’t tell which team you actually follow but it’s most definitely not Arsenal. I was there today & since the Napoli game it was the most complete team performance I’ve seen. Proud to be a Gooner today as should every real fan.

  50. gazzap

Arsenal play a certain style that if it doesn’t click and/or we defend badly, things unravel pretty quickly. Today everyone was at it. The little triangles and the movement was all there and we defended well mostly (a few sloppy moments at 3-0 up).
What I think we need to learn to do is win when it’s not clicking. Force a goal and then defend properly. The team need to recognise when to switch modes instead of only playing one way but I doubt Wenger would endorse this view. He always expects it just to click.

  51. Wallace

“Arsenal play a certain style that if it doesn’t click and/or we defend badly, things unravel pretty quickly.”

i think it’s because Santi & Ozil are so integral to the way we play. when it clicks, like today, we’re the best team in the league, no question, but like most skill players they’re a bit inconsistent. ideally you want your main players to be Roy Keane/Vieira/Coquelin types. 8/10 every game.

  52. Redtruth

It only appears to be a standout performance because they are few and far between.

Incidently do you think Spurs fans are deluding themselves when they walloped Man City as we appear to be doing.

  53. Loyika

    @ Steve!?

Was the win against The Foxes isolated as well1?

I know that Arsenal still have a way to go to convince lots of their staying power but must you always come across as a Dipshit!?

Moving on to another poser for everyone – AKBs and WOBs alike. What would success this season be defined for you

    1. Just a league win.
    2. Domestic Cup wins and no league (but a strong challenge to the end.
    3. Good run in the Champ League – Semis and no other trophy.
    4. Chelski missing out on top 4 and any trophy whatsoever. (I kid!!)

As for what i want? i think i would be chuffed if we focused on winning the league as the CL is not realistic (and depending on Citeh’s priorities as concerns doing well in that)

I honestly feel that if we can manage injuries and adopt the same approach in big games as we did today (even if that doesn’t always mean we will end up with the same result as today) we are in with a shout (best chance for a while)

But hey this is Arsenal we are talking about so what would i know

  54. Loyika

    @ Redtruth

Difference is Spurs won with 2 dubious decisions going for them, we on the other hand beat the Mancs fair and square. Doesn’t mean we have turned any proverbial corners but it’s a welcome start.

Now we need to take the same focus into Watford and take it from there.

  55. Loyika

We beat the same Citeh last season!? So go figure!?

Chelsea (The EPL Chumps)are 16th on the table!? so go figure!?

When we play Citeh you can come back with your comments.

    One game at a time.

  56. sam

    Redtroll,

I don’t worry about Man city, now Chelsea are out of the picture
Arsenal will go top after 2 or 3 games n stay there till Xmas
If we reinforce in January we will win It

  57. Mohammed

Ffs!!!! I can’t believe some people we just kicked them Mancs ass and people are still moaning….forget everything and savour the moment

We moan daily about Wenger and his bullshit which is right to do so and I totally agree Wenger should go

However we just beat United 3-0 didn’t give them a sniff and made them look very ordinary….enjoy the moment I’m sure you’ll have plenty of chances during the rest of the season to have a whinge

Glad to see Ozil step up in a big game finally well played lad – Sanchez you really are a thing of beauty if we had 10 more players like him!!!!

Overall nice day out at the Emirates weather was great so was the footy!

  58. sam

these BBC pundits should stick to their real dialects instead of trying to sound posh

    Wrighty n Shearer

    annoying!!

  59. Mohammed

There are still glaring issues but as I said before let’s enjoy the moment and revert back to whinging after the next set of dissapointing results 😉

  60. El Tel 1

Cech is the signing of the season.

    Cech 9

    Ramsey 8

So instead of pulling a rabbit out of his Arse, old Frenchie puts Shrek & Co on their arse. Wow! Wee! Now that makes getting up in the wee small hours worth it 😯

There is a Title “up for grabs now” Please you stubborn old continental character, don’t phuck it up this time. And replenish in January!!!!!!

  62. Tigerz

Klopp is a great manager. But he prefers to develop players. The club may not give him the time he needs. Or the money he needs because his predecessor spent it all.

  63. Follow the money

Gazzap and Wallace it’s because they had space. 36% possession. We let them come out, nicked the ball and countered like lightning. Wenger needs to instruct the team to keep playing this way, and that when teams park the bus let them have more possession, let them come out and then hit them on the break. I’m so tired of games where we win all the stats and lose the game. Screw possession with no end product. Screw tippi tappi. Just win

To win the league Arsenal need 4 things:

    1. make the right selection n stop favouritism
2.Players should be motivated with belief to fight till Mai
3 Stay in the top 2 till xmas
    4. Buy new players in January, I believe we are 3 players short. or buy 2 then bring back one loanee.

” quiet on here tonight ”

Haha, so true. Can you imagine if Arsenal had lost? Probably would have another 3 pages worth of comments.

Serial moaners like Joe and Tits– who are nowhere to be seen now– would have run riot. Not to mention, trolls like peanuts.

I see that Steve i.e Thomas, the binned Chelsea w@nker, is still trying his best.

  66. Joe

    I’m
    Right here coq.
    Don’t worry

    Great win

    Get Wenger the fuck
    Out of my club

Happy now. Sorry i don’t have all day to sit on my computer wanking to Wenger pics

One win does not a season make. Again. Great result. Good win. Doesn’t take aWay we lost to olympiakos mid week you muppet.

Coq, you are like a Spurs fan. Wenger has lowered expectations so much that beating a “big team” has cunts like you acting like we won the league. Just like Spurs Fan. So happy when they beat a big team like
They accomplished won a trophy. Make
    A dvd.

So we will see where you are next week when we lose to a bottom
    Half team.

    I’m
    Wenger out. Win lose draw.

Again. Great win. Over a team
    We finished above last season
And we should of beaten numerous times the last 6 seasons.

  67. Joe

Small minded and don’t see the big picture

One win and the last 10 seasons is forgotten. Last tues is forgotten. Well again. 1 game does not a season make. We are not Tottenham. We are the mighty Fucken arsenal.

If this game propels us to compete for the league then it’s a great win but if we go on to finish
3-4th more than double digits behind, it means fuck all.

    I was enjoying the win
    Until you called me out.

  68. Joe

  74. underrated Coq

Dear oh dear, now You’re just embarrassing yourself, Joe. I think its best if you heed your own words and log off at this point.

Let the illiterate, jobless, lifeless people continue their discussions.

  75. Joe

    Coq

“It’s cunts like you coq that make us winning so unbearable.”

really makes me sad that you find Arsenal winning so unbearable, Joe. i’m going to have that first 20mins on a loop all day, and you’re going to be in your shed doing unspeakable things to your George Graham doll….just doesn’t seem fair.
