Arsenal spend big money. What’s the damn problem?

Ok, so had a post ready this morning… but I need sign off type thing. So the post is late.

What have I missed?

Members day. That happened. Flamini was there. So why wasn’t I?

Well, work you see.

Wenger also ran a press conference. He spoke some words.

The main debate pinging about is that Jose Mourinho is playing games stating that Wenger is, in fact, buying the title.

Then there’s been some stories that Chelsea spend more money that us. They do, but only if you look at the literal spend.

Arsenal fans spent years bragging about how we’d spent -£78m over at 5 year period. We can’t now turn around and say net spend isn’t relevant.

Net spend is ALWAYS relevant. That’s business. To ignore this is commercial naivety.

Chelsea have a lower net spend than us because they’ve sold a tonne of players for mega money. Their goal was FFP compliance and they smashed it.

Good for them.

Why does anyone care if our spend is higher than Chelsea?

We have money. We’re spending it. If we weren’t, we’d be bemoaning our lack of ambition.

In fact, I’d say 90% of the Arsenal fans out there are pretty damn upset that we haven’t spunked at least £200m on a striker this summer.

Mourinho is a wind up merchant. His whole career has been predicated on spending massive amounts of money. He’s dropped about a billion in his career. He’s an incredible manager and he’d always be an incredible manager… but he’s kidding no one when he bitches about Wenger dropping dollar.

Anyway, I have to return to work.

So keep it real and I’ll catch you with an exclusive tomorrow.

“Until the TW has closed I will wait to give an opinion on how good or bad the Arsenal’s summer has been.”

Most sensible thing posted all day.

If we are objectively honest it has been a good summer. Cech coming in was a coup, and it riled Maureen which has to be a bonus. Our defence look already more composed with him behind him. I don’t know about 12 points I reckon he will rescue at least 2 games we would have lost and win for us at least 2 games we would have drawn.

Plus all the deadwood leaving the club has to be a bonus. It frees up so much in terms of wages — the question is will Wenger take advantage of it? No reason why we can’t sign players of Benzema and Vidal’s caliber…

You can’t provide a bunch of answers irrelevant to the questions that were asked and claim victory in the debate, that’s nonsense.

Yes, gambon asked a series of baited questions that puts you at a disadvantage if you answered them on his terms, but if you recognize that, point it out and don’t respond. You can’t pretend like you gave adequate responses to the questions he asked — because you most certainly didn’t, it’s making you lose credibility by feigning otherwise.

  3. Goondawg

It will be a poor summer if we go into the season and Coq gets injured, and that derails our campaign. We cannot blame bad luck, this will be Wenger’s fault for not requiring adequate cover

Willow Wilson: They were on gambons twitter account. I say were because he has since deleted them

Lol, that’s pretty funny if it’s true.

  5. gambon

Willow, why are you making up quotes and attributing them to me?

Pretty low if you ask me.

Or maybe your mind’s playing tricks, we already know you are no spring chicken.

Willow is great. A true supporter of Arsenal FC.
I can’t imagine why he bothers arguing with idiots and trolls all day though.

Gambon is a tool and all his little cronies hardly have a brain cell between them.

That’s how I feel about it.

  8. mysticleaves

still on the 30 goals a season striker? in the last 10 years, only 3 seasons ended with a player scoring 30 goals a season.

furthermore, Benzema has not scored 30 goals a season before. call me out if am wrong..

  9. Emiratesstroller

    Goondawg

That is precisely why Wenger may delay transfer business. He will want to see
whether we suffer some serious injuries in August.

If you spend all your budget now then what?

  10. Dan Ahern

Shit, I guess I can’t call out WW on saving comments because I’ve done the same. I ran across some screencaps of a few of london gunner’s gems.

  11. Dan Ahern

Sancho — I wish I could tell you. I was a bit stunned when Pedro said Flamini was at Members Day. It’s like thinking you’re in remission and the doc tells you the cancer is spreading.

  12. tom

I guess Flamini’s future is to be determined. If a move goes through it’ll be announced.
I hope he stays unless we are in the market for somebody new.

Your problem is, you are in denial. You think we could have competed with Chelsea, city and Utd. I knew this was impossible.
I always knew the club had a,plan. I said we would make signings.

You lot said wenger would never spend on WC players because he was scared of them. Lol. We said he would. He did.you said we would never win another trophy. We did. As soon as we started spending trophies arrived.

Nicely put Willow. Funny that when we start buying top drawer players again we win back to back trophies and compete isn’t it?

“I have no idea why you ate so angry all the time. Catch a,plane, I’ll meet you and take you on a tour and to a,game, my treat. What you say?”

I will definitely take you up on this, though there is no need to treat me to a game. I’ll buy the tickets, you do the tour. I like it.

And I’m not actually angry, but I do get frustrated with Arsenal being less than they can and should be and with those who defend or apologize for this unnecessary state of affairs.

I have said before and will say again: I want Arsenal to be great again. Not good; GREAT. The best team in England, and one of the best in Europe. We are not that today, nor have we been that in some time. And I despise people who attempt to say that we are or that we cannot be.

    That is all.

I will gladly take you up on your offer. Will probably have to be in 2016, though.

Ignore all my insults. You’re clearly a good sort, even if you’re wrong re Arsenal and Wenger. 😉

    Cheers.

  19. Salvage

Mourinho has put doubts and ideas in Wenger’s head. Wenger should know these things by now and should not bother answering. What Mourinho is trying to do is to make Wenger think twice before buying anymore this season just to prove to the world that he is not a spendthrift. Mourinho has realised that somehow, he is not getting the funds or backing to make many purchases so he is looking at his rivals and trying to make them uncomfortable with buying players. He has called out Manu , Mancity, Liverpool and now Arsenal. All these managers should know that if Mourinho had the funds available to buy, he would.
I am afraid, we may not see any more buys this summer at least.

  20. Leedsgunner

I just hope Cech plays a blinder when we play Chelsea at home and at Stamford Bridge– if we remain organised disciplined and focussed even with the squad we have we should be able to nick a goal. Now, if we were sign Benz the chances of winning over the likes of Chelsea become greater obviously.

A double over Mourinho would be like winning a minor trophy, but more importantly if we were able to do that it would mean we were in the title race, if not winning it.

Cech better not pick up a major injury…

  21. bennydevito

Ahhh it’s like Love Actually in here…

Bloody hell, seriously though. Just seeing Redtruth & Bamford disarmed like that has left me stunned!

  22. Bamford10

    Le Prof

“Nicely put Willow. Funny that when we start buying top drawer players again we win back to back trophies and compete isn’t it?”

Trophies, yes, but let’s not pretend that the FA Cup is equal to the EPL title or the CL title. It’s a good trophy; it is not as good as those trophies. Simply isn’t.

Secondly, you say “competing”. Competing for what, exactly? We didn’t compete for the EPL title. We finished 12 points back and were never in serious contention. And we certainly didn’t compete for the CL, where we got bounced in the 16 by Monaco.

So what exactly do you mean by “competing”?

Did you notice the save Cech made against Wolfsburg, where a guy hit a shot from 25 yards out but it was whistled dead?

Cech still made the diving save, despite the play clearly being dead.

While he made many good saves in those two games, that (unnecessary) save might’ve told us even more about his character.

Dude doesn’t let the ball go by him. He’s a genuine competitor and a genuine champion. Proud to have him at Arsensl.

‘So what exactly do you mean by “competing”?’

To win things you must ‘compete’ and if I’m not mistaken we won back to back FA cups.

  28. mysticleaves

I miss the days when Gambon made it a daily task to bash koscielny. how he managed to change his opinion, remains mystery.

  30. TitsMcGee

Lol at AKBS trying to imply Wenger had some “plan” and it was all a matter of time.

You are digging deep into the corner of your arse for that one.

Plan has nothing to do with ending up v Hull City and Aston Villa in the FA Cup final because other than that nothing has changed. Certainly not his record v top 4 or his record in UCL.

But that is to be expected. The ten year drought is just “coincidence ” and bad luck with injuries etc. It’s no doubt that all it took for the “you see” line of thinking was a 3rd instead of 4th place finish.

  32. Dark Hei

Benzema is clearly leaving. Where to is another matter.

What doesn’t your little squirrel brain comprehend?
Adding one worldy a year, like we have done for the last 3 years, and spending more on transfers than we ever have done would be seen as a change in direction and policy by most people. Especially when you consider we’ve always spent conservatively as a club even before AW.

But for someone who’s clearly detached from reality, naive and evidently not very bright your suggestion of blowing all our cash reserves (which you don’t actually know the true figure and how much is available to spend on players) in one window is nothing short of ludicrous. I’d go as far to say it was delusion at its finest….wake up Sheila.

Lol at your £30m subs, in sure they’d be more than happy on the bench. I think the sun has frazzled what little brains you were born with.

I’d expect nothing less than the unrealistic gibberish we get from a backward mongo living in the bush.

  36. tunnygriffboy

It’s really good we are strengthening our academy. We need to and it appears we’re making a concerted to do so. We’ll continue to bring youngsters through, mix them with some experience and WC talent. Be interesting what team we put out in the league cup this season.

  37. gambon

Lol, Mourinho nailing Benitez for his wife’s comments!

Just a legend that guy is.

Wish Wenger was more like him.

  38. vicky

    Jose on Benitez’s wife :

Typical Arsenal, the issues at youth level last season seemed to focus around defensive frailties, so what do we do in the summer? sign a load of attacking players

  45. Emiratesstroller

    tunnygriffboy

    Good morning everybody.

Yes I concur. It is good to see that Arsenal keep on recruiting youngsters with
two new arrivals in last 24 hours. Let’s hope that they are as talented as Adelaide.

Last season Arsenal’s youth teams grossly under performed so that it is clear
that the Management of the club needed to put matters right.

Whilst I appreciate that there are many posters who believe that Arsenal should focus always on first team and throw money at the transfer market that makes only sense if there is a requirement and you find the right players.

At the moment I am less convinced about the striker requirement than many
and more interested that Arsenal go out and find a high quality Defensive
    Midfielder to complement Coquelin.

When you review the performance in the 4 friendlies over last two weeks the
one concern for me was the first half of game when Arteta played alongside
    Cazorla against Hoffenheim.

The team looked once again rather fragile rather like we had seen in first half
of last season. The problem with Arteta is not his passing skill, but his poor
defending and lack of pace and when Coquelin replaced him and Flamini that
was precisely why the team improved in second half of last season.

  46. Nasri's Mouth

    @gambon

Nearly so childish as poking someone in the eye.

Yeah, Mourinho is such a legend.

Only racist Chelsea fans and you think he’s a legend

  47. underrated Coq

So Jose ‘manchild’ Mourinho is not only implying Benitez is fat/overweight but also indirectly says women should only be restricted to kitchen work and household duties.

Just what you expect from him. The guy continues to showcase his maturity.

Its also not so surprising that Le grove’s own manchild finds Jose’s comments legendary and praise-worthy. The same person who finds joy at the sight of a 60+ year old man slipping and falling down.

  48. qna

While we are adding to our youth team, I hope we have looked at Luka Jovic. That kid looks like a player already and he is only 16/17.

I must admit, I am very impressed with what the club has done with the youth squad this year. Not sure if they have done a good job, time will tell. But there was a clear problem with our youth teams and we have gone out and made some big moves to improve it. We also recognize that the talent is not coming through the British system so we have gone out and got them from the countries that do have good systems.

Not sure if we closed the deal on the dutch kid from Ajax as well. I watched him on youtube. In addition to him looking very solid, it is quite clear that there a number of seriously talented players in that Ajax youth squad. Holland for Qatar 2022?? Put a wager on now?

  49. Emiratesstroller

    qna

The Dutch kid signed yesterday was Donyel Malan an U17 international and if
you read his profile he is considered the best new thing in Holland. Apparently
every major club in Europe was after him including Barcelona.

  50. vicky

We need a striker. Benzema is genuine striker. So my vote goes to him. Although Reus is a better player, he is not a striker. I would prefer Lewandowski to both of them If he was available.

  51. Nasri's Mouth

    @Vicky

You’d imagine so, if only because you’d want your scouts to get to know their specific ‘area’

Steve Morrow is in charge of both sets though I believe

  52. Nasri's Mouth

    @Al

I’d go with Reus, I’d love to see us play with the flexibility of a front 3 of Sanchez, Walcott and Reus.

The movement should be very hard to defend against.

  53. qna

Emirates. Yeah. Thats who I was saying I watched on youtube. He looks solid. A good number 9. Very happy. Did anyone else watch the youtube of him? The other kids in that team look pretty good as well dont they? There is probably at least 2 other kids that I would love us to snap up as well, but thats getting greedy isnt it.

For those of you that dont know Luka Jovic, see here:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIrHdy31jP8

We were linked to him quite some time ago now. 17 years old and playing first division in Serbia. He is the one young talent that I hope we sign. No doubt we will make a profit on him. Reminds me of what I liked about Dybala. Great balance. Low centre of gravity. Powerful shot. etc etc.

  54. Wallace

Rummenigge today saying Müller has ‘no price’ and that Guardiola has given no indication that he won’t extend his contract.

  55. Leedsgunner

    tunny

How many new players have signed for our academy now? 5 or 6? I sure hope they are of quality and we get to see at least 2 or 3 make their step up into the first team in the near future.

As welcome as these latest signings are I hope the following prospects who have been with the club for a while make their mark this season:

    1. Serge Gnabry – after an impressive start, he petered out because of injury. I hope he’s over his injury troubles and gets a good loan somewhere to gain experience. Crystal Palace fancy taking him on for the season?

    2. Chuba Akpom – Signed an extension near the same time as Coquelin but his playing time has been very limited. He has all the physicality to make it but at the moment he doesn’t get a look in. If we don’t get another striker (Boo!) I would personally use Akpom as a super sub for Giroud. When fresh Giroud’s form is impressive but his productivity goes south considerably as he tires and becomes jaded. Hopefully Akpom can use a role in keeping Giroud fresh and hungry.

At the moment, it’s looking like we let the wrong striker go in Afobe. I hope we had the good sense to include a buy back or a first refusal clause for him.

    3. Bielik and Hayden – on paper both can play the DM role, will Wenger rely on them if Coquelin needs a rest? Are they good enough? I may eat my words but it is looking most unlikely we will sign a DM now. Arteta will deputise until he gets injured… which at 33 is likely.

    4. Crowley and Zelalem – both players have been hailed as our brightest prospects until Iwobi and Reine Adelaide turned up. I personally would like to see them play some League Cup games to see if they can make the step up.

  56. tunnygriffboy

    Emirates

Arteta and Santi can’t play together. No pace or power. Santi has to play with Coquelin. IF, and I say IF, Arteta has to play then Ramsey plays with him. That midfield that played v Lyon looked very good. Ramsey has a great relationship with Ozil on the field Ozil loves his late runs into the opponents penalty area.

  57. Dream10

    Al

I would take either one. But we need a #9 more than second striker.
Reus is easier to get. Does he want to play Europa League football?

If we don’t sign Reus this year, Man City will get him next year

  58. tunnygriffboy

    Leeds

The problem for any youngster playing for any top team is that they have to be exceptional to breakthrough to the first team. Reine Adelaide did and could be used this season

Chuba has the ingredients to be a good striker. Arsenal quality ? Needs to get his head up and be more aware of what’s around him. He could come good

Crowley, Zelalem, Toral, Iwobi, Hayden we may see in LC.

A few of the above could do a bench job for us, and play in the LC.

  59. Leedsgunner

“Ramsey has a great relationship with Ozil on the field Ozil loves his late runs into the opponents penalty area.”

    THIS.

In his first season, Mesut’s effectiveness markedly declined after Ramsey was waylaid with injury after January. (Although he was knackered probably had something to do with it.)

Ah, remember that surprise season in 2013 when Aaron was scoring for fun? His prolific scoring form papered over Giroud’s ineffectiveness as a striker in his second season.

If Aaron keeps doing the basics right, Özil give him plenty of chances to score.

  60. qna

Tunny. I think that Ramsey has to be our main CM this season. I would have preferred us to sign Vidal or Khedira. But since we did not, then our hopes rest squarely on Ramsey’s shoulders. He does have something about him that could put him into the elite level of CMs. He also has some sloppyness about him too. If we dont add any more players this window then my hopes rest on Ramsey to step it up. This means that Ramsey will need to play better than he ever has before, and actually perform better than Cazorla did for us last season. Not an easy task, but possible.

If that happens then we have first choice of Coquelin-Ramsey. This leaves Cazorla and Wilshere on the bench, with all players fit.

  61. Bankz

    Al

    I’d pick Reus.
    Very fine player.
    Relatively younger than Benzema
    He’s faster than Benzema
Can play on the wing, behind the striker and as a false 9.
He’s about as clinical as Benzema.

  62. qna

I am a big Walcott fan and I also think he will sign a new contract.

BUT, the fact that he hasnt signed already pisses me off. If fans here feel they have the right to boo RVP, Nasri, Sagna, Adebayor, Fabregas etc for not signing on, then those fans should be pissed as well. Because Theo is essentially showing a similar disregard.

I dont think that the club should allow any player to bring their contract down to this point. Because, if we are going to replace a player, we need time in the window to find him and get the deal done. So if a player doesnt sign on, by say August 1st with less than 12 months remaining, we should as a rule be willing to sell him and replace him adequately. There may be some players that are so good/important as to force us to be flexible with them…

BUT THEO IS NOT THAT GOOD.

  63. qna

Al. Its a tough one. Our main problem is that we lack a world class CF that can play with his back to goal, one up by himself. Giroud does this well for us against the weaker opponents but cant do it for us away to the stronger sides.

I dont think Reus can play that one up number 9 role effectively, whereas Benzema can. We have already players that can play the Reus role (although not as well as the German). But we dont have anybody in the squad that can play the number 9 role.

For this reason, although I think Reus is the better player and would get you more goals over his Arsenal career, we need Benzema more.

I would actually prefer Lewendowski first, followed by the Benz and then the Reus.

  64. Dream10

So we’ve signed another Under 18. Bennacer from Arles-Avignon.
    According to L’Equipe.

Jonkier will have some new players to work with

  65. Al

It’s a hard on because Benzema allows us to be just as flexible in our front 3.

It’s like i would like us to get Reus because i would love to see Theo giving a real chance as our main striker because with all that creativity behind him i just can’t see him failing to score.

But then by getting Reus you are seriously blocking The OX’s route into the team because he has looked like he is about to take it up a notch.

If you held a gun to my head i would get Benzema just think he is what we need and his signing impacts Theo more than OX who i think should be given the platform to excel more than Theo

  66. Nasri's Mouth

    @qna

I think the difference between Walcott and the rest you mention is that it appears Walcott wants to stay, (when he last re-signed in Jan, he could haven easily walked away on a free) while the others wanted to leave, and went to various degrees of c.untery to get their way.

I don’t actually have a problem with any player wanting to leave. That’s their choice and should be respected. How they behave while they get their wish is another matter though.

The problem with Reus, is that he isnt a CF, and thats very much what we need.

He is a quality goal scoring wide player., probably closest to Mirallas in the Premier League.

Now IMO that is not what we need most right now.

Sure, hes probably a better player than Benzema, or he is when fit, but surely its all about priorities.

  68. Al

Actually surprised quite a few think Reus is more talented than Benzema. In terms of dribbling i agree but overall creativity, passing, technique and finishing i think Benzema is considerably better than him

Personally I don’t think that Arteta should be playing for first team apart from
perhaps in League Cup. If you go to games over the last two or three seasons
where he has played you can see the problem.

    1. He lacks pace and physicality and is often brushed off the ball.
2.His positioning as the game progresses declines, because frankly he is now
no more than a 30-40 minute player at most.
    3. Every opposing team knows our weakness when he plays and they target
    him.

Also on the matter of Cazorla v Ramsey the former is the more technically gifted but the latter offers more movement and energy. Also he is likely to
    score more goals.

Cazorla on the other hand is Arteta’s replacement as penalty and free kick taker in team. There is noone else who is as effective in this department as him.

Nasri. I actually dont have a problem with them leaving either. But right now I have Theo in my best 11 for us. So if we are going to sell him, lets do it now and replace him. For example, if we are selling Theo, then Reus becomes a no brainier. But if we can keep Theo, then he is not as much a necessity.

I like Walcott as well. I also like Welbeck and what he brings but I’m in a minority there

Re Theo’s contract. Difficult one. He was injured for 18 months so it maybe we were looking to see how he recovers. He was tentative first games he returned but by the end of the season he looked well up for it. He’s more mature now and appears to have finally grown up

If Ramsey repeats the ridiculous form of two seasons ago we’ll be laughing. We’re a much better side than we were then with far better options. I’d love to see him in midfield but for some games may slot in on the right.

Walcott could play CF but also as a supplementary forward coming into the centre to get closer to Giroud. We could also play Ox, Walcott and Alexis as a rotating front 3 with Ozil pulling the strings. We do have options now far more than two years ago

Critical is managing our injuries. Last season it absolutely stuffed us. It was injuries per se but the number of long term injuries to key players. It was more horrific than usual even for us.

I think Carzorla is the automatic pick. With the high press, Carzorla’s mobility to sweep up loose balls is crucial as we are trying to force mistakes with the press. Opposing players get rushed into a pass and Carzola sweeps and evades the counter press.

I think Arteta does not suit this system so well due to his lack of mobility. His retention is more tactical when we are forced to seat deep, he becomes important alongside a destroyer such as Coquelin.

Many attribute the improved defensive performance to Coquelin. But I think our improvement was multi-staged. Originally it was down to Coquelin being an upgrade over Flamini. Next phase of stability was the Carzola-Coquelin combo, followed by Coquelin’s improvement.

This was finally followed by the ENTIRE team executing the high press with the grand finale of performances in the FA Cup final where we pressed Aston Villa silly.

  73. Dark Hei

My point is that a Ramsey-Carzola partnership works since a very mobile and energetic Ramsey is doing the pressing here.

And I stress pressing, not tackling.

The issue is what happens if Carzola is absent? In that case, Coquelin will have to do the sweeping. So he needs to get his distribution up to par.

I think you’re missing the point of Coqs importance. Its not about the pressing just, its the fact when everyone attacks we have had Coq sitting back and plugging any holes so teams have found it hard to counter attack against us…Which is a lot of times we have conceeded goals in the past.

Its the fact Coq has been disciplined and sits back while also have the physical attributes to chase and tackle.

Ramsey and Santi doesn’t really work because Ramsey bombs forward so if Santi is sitting he doesn’t have the physical attributes to stop the counter attacks

    @Dark Hei

I’d be tempted to put Wilshere in the Cazorla role rather than Ramsey if it’s alongside Coq. (Unless Coq possession game continues to improve)

Tunny: I wont argue with you about Welbeck or injuries mate 😉 But I can guarantee you will will have them, but to make you feel better, I will guarantee our rivals will have them too. But I am not sure about relying on Theo as the CF. I give you that there will be times that this will be ok. But as I have mentioned a number of times, my focus for us this season will be when we play those 6 or 7 top teams as well as those top teams in Europe. Put your mind back to those games – even the 2-0 against City. We defend deep and we dont have the lions share of possession. When we do get hold of the ball we need to send it up to somebody who can hold it long enough for the troops to get down there. Not sure if Theo fits the bill. Giroud himself is limited here, but does do a good job for us at holding the ball up. Scoring goals in these games is still a big question for him.

Ok. Fair. Harsh to bench Cazorla. But again, I dont see where we are getting the improvement that we need to keep up with (and overtake) Chelsea and City. Was Cazorla great last year. Yes, absolutely. Was he a world class CM that controls the game from the middle of the park. Sort of, but not quite. This is what I think we needed to bring in (Vidal, Khedira). And since we didnt, we need to hope and pray someone steps up from within – I think Ramsey is our best hope. Not saying he is better than Cazorla now. But we need him to be better than Cazorla was for us this season. He needs to be strong and boss the ball along with Coqeulin and when he gets a chance, join the attacks coming forward and be that extra goal scoring mid.

I’m not sure that will work though. Ramsey at the moment doesn’t really work as well with Coq as Cazorla does, because his game is different to Cazorla’s

Ramsey is all about energy, movement, etc.

Cazorla is all about control and holding onto the ball, and then knowing when to release it.

In that way Ramsey is closer in style to Vidal than Cazorla is, but with Coq (so far) focusing on being a destroyer, then we need that control next to him.

Ramsey would be a better option in the middle, if and only if Coq can add another dimension to his game, (or if Arteta was playing instead of Coq)

I think what we need is for Coq to improve the other parts of his game, which is possible, he’s shown he can do it previously.

This doesn’t mean we can’t compete at the top though. We had enough performances last season where we were certainly good enough. We just need to show better consistency, put in more of those performances and less of the rubbish ones

  78. Emiratesstroller

The primary reason for keeping Cazorla in team is not so much his open play,
but set pieces and penalty taking. He has already scored this summer two goals
from free kicks and his penalty taking is also exemplary.

Frankly I don’t think that there is anyone else who is so reliable.
