That French rumour, yeah, it’s true…

by .

So that story you read, when you saw that thing about the French defender. Guys and gals, that story is as hot as they come. No Hummels, no Prem proven experience, no young upstart. We’re in for a versatile Frenchman who captains St Etienne. He can play centre back and defensive midfield. A good player, but a desperate signing that has next to no legacy and comes with a massive ‘will he adapt risk’. Adapting to the fastest league in Europe at 29 is a huge task, ask Squillaci.

When you have options available that are younger and more acclimatised, you have to wonder why we’re sniffing around the back alleys of France again. Feels like a real short term bit of thinking. Short term and cheap.

Allardyce reckons The Hammers home form can see them through today. Their strategy involves picking at our defence. Who’d have guessed? Sakho, Valencia and Downing are all form players. Andy Carroll is always a pain against us, so that’ll be fun. Alex Song will have a point to prove against us (me). Our defence has to deal with height and pace. Could be a nightmare today. Sam has us sussed at the best of times. We’re on shaky form this year, so my expectations aren’t exactly sky high.

Our front line will see the reintro of WELBZ through the middle. I’d imagine he’ll be flanked by Tomas / Campbell and Sanchez. It’d be pretty exciting if he were flanked by Theo… but the slow introduction thing is unlikely to be kicked off with a full 90.

We know Alex Song has very little pace, so hopefully we can get at him. I’d imagine he’ll be going all out action hero today, so there will be space. We also know Jenkinson is a weak link, so we should abuse him with our best man and attack that weak link. That’s attacking him and pressing West Ham so he ends up with the ball. Exactly what Liverpool did to us with Chambers. If Carroll is playing we know it’s going to be flick ons for him all day long, thing is, this year they have pace and efficiency running onto those balls, so we have to be extra vigilant today.

It’s going to be very interesting. I can’t wait to be honest. Probably the first time I’ve ever looked forward to a Big Sam game. Arsenal need to turn it on today. Three points takes us clear of West Ham and we can start our ascent to 4th place with Southampton next on the list.

If you’re going, have fun and wrap up!

See you on the other side…

Good win against a top 4 team!!

West Ham was 5th before the game so not a top 4 team.

Funny enough my best player today was Coquelin. He wasn’t just breaking up play and starting our very effective counterattacks, he was taking the game to them. I was pissing myself at one stage when he harried a westham player near their own corner flag till he got the ball.

Wouldn’t say rotations a myth but didn’t see Chelsea or Manu doing it
Top teams always tend to play their best players

I’ll hold you to ‘the french rumour’ pedro. You’ve been wrong about everything else so far so maybe you’ll get this one right.

Podolski on loan, it’s still happening, these guys get paid too much for clubs to buy outright, another Wenger fuck up, Poldi gets a rumoured 7 million quid a year, 130k a week to sit on the bench

Not many clubs can afford to pay those stupid wages, so he goes out on loan WITH ARSENAL PAYING SOME OF THE WAGE

This manger has no fucking idea, none, this manager is truly off the fucking planet

    @N5
DO you play any sports or do gym regularly?
If yes then mayb we can discuss about rotation and players fitness etc.
If not than maybe leave this topic to me as i am an active sportsman and no much about fitness than most of the people on this blog.

The problem with this “blog” and its cult following is that the author thinks what they write is 100% FACT and not just maybe an opinion….They also think that because they have 1000s of followers…is makes what they write 100% correct….Every time Arsenal win, i think a little part of certain fans dislike it…sad but true……Jenkinson?….yeah good one mate…Rosicky, eh read AW’s press conf….

Wenger will continue to prove a lot of people WRONG…..

yeah N5, do yo think fat sam gave his self up by that comment..

Becos wenger for the first time change the formation a bit which which confused westham a bit, and it seems somebody told szeschny to control his area.

The way he went for all the aerial balls was surprising outstanding for the first time.

    Hello Grovers!!

When all our injured players will be back, I seriously think we could be able to challenge yoonited for the 3th spot ==>> Progress ?? lol
If Sanchez is still in good health of course, and that’s a fucking big IF, because we all know that even machines can break sometimes.

you may come at my place and have a 1 hour gym class and then we will seee who can kick a ball and who can just type on a keyboard knowing nothing about sports and fitness.

Where do all the arsenal haters go after scrapping a win against mid table teams? Probably the same place the AKBs go when Jose bends Arsene over a table and dies him with no live for the umpteenth time in a row. Honestly, we claw past QPR and Wham and the title us on. You fucking cunts. Where are the untold boys now when refs mistakes are giving us points? Lol … Fucking clowns

  15. WrightIsGod

Yesterday was our best formation and set up. I really like when we play two DMs sitting in front of the defence as it allows the front four to go ahead and do their business.

It’s been our best system for two years. Only problem is the personnel we have used in the past. Imagine if you played Khedira and Schneiderlain together there. That alone would make us challenge for the league.

@TheBayingMob : the fact that I’m a bit more optimistic than usual doesn’t mean that I don’t want wenger OUT!! lol
