Deadline Day Disaster for Arsenal | Kim Kallstrom… is here.

The real Arsene Wenger stepped forward yesterday and gave us all a taste of mighty fine reality. We had issues within the squad that needed addressing this window and the manager serviced them with Kim Kallstrom. The Swedish midfielder, most famous for being a player with exceptional Championship manager attributes 12 years ago, has joined on a 6 month loan. He’s not played for 7 weeks, so I’m unsure how long it’ll take him to get fit. He’s also not played in the fastest league in the world before. So again, as aimless punts go, he’s right up there with the best panic purchases of the last few seasons.

Now, I’m not going to slate his ability, I’ve seen him play plenty of times before over the years. I know it seems odd that I’d remember a player so unmemorable, but he was so, so good on that computer game, I had to pay close attention when he played. I had similar excitement in watching Javier Saviola, Ibrahima Bakayoko and Robert Pires. Anyway, he’s not very exciting, he’s mostly a solid, functional midfielder… but the press isn’t great around him from the French, who watched him for 7 odd years at Lyon or the Swedes, who’ve sucked up 100 caps worth of his play.

Now, I don’t want to get on his back, it’s not his fault we’ve opted for him, but come on, no one can tell me he was the plan A at the start of January. It’s like the Flamini move of last summer, a bit disappointing (and please don’t tell me you were over the moon we’d signed a player who’d left under a cloud after missing out on Bender / Ginter and Gundogan), but at least we knew he was a good player, knew the Arsenal way and he was Premiership experienced.

This whole window once again points to the absurdity of our transfer planning. We had 4 loan moves rejected on the final day if Sky Sports are to be believed. We went for a 35 year old Klose of Lazio, we asked about Papisse Cisse of Newcastle, I think Vucinic was one… and the final horror offer of the day went to Salomon Kalou. I mean honestly, can you believe that Arsene put in a phone call to Lille about him? If there was a win this transfer window, it’s the fact you’re not here right now reading me going into total meltdown about signing a totally average 29 year old from Lille.

Now, this planning cycle does come down to two things. Firstly, Wenger does all the transfer arranging. He’s the man in charge of the list. As I told you the other day, he’s been back and forthing over Draxler this month with regards to expense and in the end, he decided against him. So the manager is the guy who dithers over these things. However, Ivan has to take some flak for this… why hasn’t he put a system in place that takes some of the control off of Arsene? It’s clear we’ve needed players since the start of the season. Where is the person at the club driving those names out of the manager and making sure something comes out the other side? We really do need a Director of Football to help bring our transfer process in line with the best clubs in Europe.

A club the size of Arsenal is better than an average loan signings. Chelsea, Everton and United all managed to secure names earlier than the last day. Why were we pissing around right up to the deadline? What happened to doing your business early? Where is the ambition and the ruthlessness? We have the best chance we’ll ever have of storming the league. It’s clear we don’t have trusted cover for our two over worked centre backs, it’s clear that Jenkinson is not of the standard to fill in for Sagna, Ramsey is out for 6 weeks… I’d imagine it’ll take 4 weeks to get Kallstrom fit enough to step in… we have lost 20 goals out wide as well as the bucket load of pace Theo brings… and a year on… still not adequate replacement for Giroud.

It’s like the manager is purposefully ignoring the obvious flaws we can see are already biting the squad in the arse.

We needed a mid-season boost to the squad. It would have injected some fresh legs into a tired set up and it would have excited the players. If anything, Kallstrom will have disappointed them. He’s not a bad player, but he’s hardly a name that inspires players like Ozil. Even looking around at other signings. Chelsea landed Matic, a player who could have helped us. Everton signed that huge target man from Monaco for 6 months. Monaco loaned Berbatov. All these players could have helped out. We decided against it…

I mean, it’s not like this window was any different to the summer one which was also an absolute shambles until will fluked the deal for Ozil.

Anyway, that’s my two pennies. I might be totally wrong, but history and a quick glance as the squad numbers tells you that Arsenal winning the league this year is going to be a massive, massive ask. We could have been ruthless, we weren’t, so we’ll have to trust the manager, pray that we don’t pick up anymore injuries and see if we can blitz the second half of the season like we have done the first.

One thing to note, there’s a lot of good will that Wenger is enjoying at the moment, I’d expect much of that will dry up very quickly if things unravel in the way they normally do. He’s made a rod for his own back. He’ll no doubt sign that new deal pretty sharpish next week as well. Three more years of this.

… and to end on a positive note, Park Chu Young has joined Watford on loan. Arsenal eh? Not many teams desperate for a striker end up losing one in January!

This is basically what happened. I am going to break down the transfer window.

We were sniffing around Draxler but Wenger didn’t like the price, which taken alone can have some merit but the fact Theo was injured and Giroud is weak offensively I think it was a blunder.

So We decided against coughing up the money.

During this time we were also looking at Vulcinic he rejected us so that was that.

Now on to the last 48- 24 hours we were looking at a winger in Kaloue as we had decided no on Draxler. This is pathetic why try to sign a shit player because your desperate when we could of sorted things out at the start of the window.

So anyways we were suddenly hit by the news that Ramsey injured his tendon and the Flamini received a red card.

So we looked for an immediate replacement, now before this moment we had been incompetent to a fairly large degree but this took the biscuit in a last minute grab for a loanee we decided on Kim already a bad choice but he turns out to be injured.

Now we either didn’t know he had been injured on Tuesday because are signing of him was so last minute and haphazard that we had no scouts/information in place on the player, or bizarrely we did know he was injured which would make no sense.

Personally I think we had no knowledge of the injury till the actual medical which he failed and Wenger sensing the discontent from the fans if we left the window empty handed decided to sign said player anyway.

  2. Jeff

You’ve all got it wrong. Kallstrom will be appearing tomorrow as Gunnersaurus. He isn’t supposed to play football. Doh!

  3. Bacaryisgod

Maybe I’m an optimist but when City beat Chelsea and we beat Palace, we’ll be one point off first, 5 points ahead of Chelsea, 11 points ahead of Spurs and 15 up on Man United and with about one third of the season left. We’ve advanced from a tough Champions League group and beat Spurs in the cup.

I would have taken that at the start of the season. I’m guessing most of you would have too.

  4. Dissenter

    @Bacaryisgod
Good rationalization. I give you that.
Truth is we brought in an injured player to cover for an injured player. We bought a box-to-box CMF afflicted with back injury to continue his “rehabilitation” with us.
Even Wenger “haters” can’t make this up.

  5. Keyser

“This is what happens when you have a mentallty disturbed man calling the shots.”

Well call your carer in and get off the computer.

  6. Jeff

Yes Bacary we would have taken that at the start. But does it justify the current failings in the window? Of course it doesn’t.

  7. hackneylad

What frustrates me Is Wenger is clearly a great manager in some ways, we have been at the top for most of the season because we have been very consistent.

Bould gets a allot of credit but so should Wenger for appointing Bould after all its amazing how much credit Fergie took and how much credit his coaching staff didn’t receive.

If Wenger ever went that extra measure he could still win us trophies.

But right now it looks like he may no longer be prepared to go that extra mile.

    I hope I am wrong.

  8. tunnygriffboy

Honigstein says that because Schalke were quiet about the transfer it suggests that they would have sold if the price was right. Draxler has said that he wasn’t allowed to leave. What do we believe ?

  9. leon

hack i dont draxler is any different or better than we already have there two different type of wingers in my view winger/striker or play maker/midfielder i think draxler is later and this has lots of play makers and what this team realy needs a top striker someone who does not need time and score at least 20-30 goals wenger could have got a player like that in the summer and blew it twice this team did not a draxler in the summer and they dont now this team needs killers not more play makers

  10. Negation

@Bacaryisgod: the thing I would have taken at the beginning of the season is arsenal winning a trophy, which is still my position now.

What arsenal do during the season, how many competitions we’re still in – irrelevant. Because we’ve been here a million times, we’re not spurs trying to break into the top 4.

  11. Bacaryisgod

    Dissenter

I agree the Kallstrom deal makes no sense to me but I just don’t think it’s fair for some fans to only highlight his dumb moves and conveniently forget about his smart moves that have put the squad in a much more competitive position.

For one, he built the best back 4 in the league (and yes, Bould has been a major factor) for around 25 million. He battled hard to win the transfer battle for Ramsey, Ox and Walcott and it’s already paying huge dividends (injuries aside…). No matter what the cynics say, Giroud was a bargain and even if he”s been patchy recently, Cazorla helped us overcome the loss of RVP last season. He stuck by Rosicky, who nearly everyone had written off and at least for the last two seasons, we’ve got tremendous leadership and performances from him.

Wenger’s cocked-up a lot of things, but it’s not unreasonable to call for a little balance in assessing his management.

    Dissenter

Sorry mate no respect for him as a person, I know plenty of Spanish folks who feel the same about him, this was not a one off.
He was part of the endemic racism that hangs over the game in some of the European countries.

  13. kwik fit

I don’t really an injury is really that big a problem

KK weaknesses are his lack of speed, inability to play wide, and maybe even a lack of strength and physical fitness to play hard working premiership football.

  14. Uchmangunnernaija

This Bacaryisgod chap is a massive AKB!
You can tell how hard it is for him to criticize Wenger’s cock ups but when it comes to praising him, he writes a whole essay.
Wenger is a god! We all know it

  15. Vintage Gun

Signing an injured Kallstrom is like the boss of painting firm hiring a man with broken arms to cover the regular painter who can t work because he has broken arms

And both men will be fit on the same day… Absolute MADNESS

  16. SpanishDave

Wengers won nothing in 8 years, some smart moves there.
Would we be interviewing Wenger for a job now , with that cv??
This move sums him up now, his state of mind and of those around him.
They are frightened of him, unsackable and he knows it too well.

  17. Nasri's Mouth

I think the KK signing is weird enough that I’m going to wait till the end of the season to see if there was actually a reason why we signed him.

It won’t reach Park levels of stupidity / pointlessness and at least it’s financially peanuts, but still…

  18. leon

this knew signing has not evon had his scan to see how bad injury which does happen in training and all ready right him off have not evon seen him play either so keen to right him and how because he did blow 37 million on a unproven play maker just because he is not the hyped does not been he is short i remember in the summer and it was exacly the same with flamani most fans were all so quick to right him off

  19. andy1886

NM – perhaps he has a tiny cock and all the other guys will suddenly start feeling more confident about themselves in the showers.

Sorry, that’s the only realistic option that I could come up with.

  20. tunnygriffboy

    Bacary

Fair playto you for highlighting the positive things done this season. Simple answer is that Wenger keeps away from transfers. For every position he needs to fill give the negotiaters ( sic ) 6 targets. By all means speak to them, he still has some gravitas, then let the money men sort out the deals working through the lists in terms of priority and cost.

You have to admit that hearing him explain the KK situation will be interesting.

  21. tunnygriffboy

    Matthew

So we bid what they asked for and they wouldn’t let him leave. Interesting. Hopefully he is pissed off as he wanted to move. We should be in there as soon as season finishes and get him before the WC. In meantime get our German team mates to bend his ear.

  22. bayo

Just hope we beat Liverpool in the FA cup as this is our only chance for a trophy. Coupled with the fact that either City or Chelsea will be out in this round, maybe we might just nick the FA cup.

  23. Rhys Jaggar

If Wenger really signed KK when he’s out for 6 games, having stated he needed cover for Ramsey and Wilshere, then he’s either a criminal, of with the fairies or possesses a medical team so incompetent that a barrage of P45s should be issued at 9am Monday morning.

The only other explanation is that the media or the mafia demanded it for reasons they had better explain themselves.

In other news, an Italian fraudster has bought Leeds Utd, sacked the manager the day before he signed the paperwork, then has apparently reinstated him, presumably after the players told him they wouldn’t work for his Italian lackey he was proposing to bring in after winning 5-1 to end a run of losses presumably engineered by the would-be owner to bring in his lackey to carry out Italian mafia orders..

Or another conspiracy theory even more far-fetched………

    You couldn’t make it up……..

  24. hackneylad

“Julian Draxler tells Sky Germany that Schalke blocked his move to Arsenal despite meeting their valuation”

If this is true then Wenger didn’t actually fuck it up!! Which means maybe we should calm down and wait for the information to come out before we make judgements, (including me)

I predict it will go to Citeh,

I doubt that we will know who shot JFK before we get the truth from football pundits & managers.

  27. leon

Matthew thats just speculation i suspect that wenger was willing fork out to much for him,i very suprised about the comments on the knew signing the player has not had his scan yet so none of use know how long he will be out for players do get injured in training its been known to happen.

  28. hackneylad

The one and only thing we have on Liverpool is our defence.

Before we had a midfield that dominate the field thus we could strangle and isolate Suarez and sturridge… We don’t have this anymore,

  29. Zeus

If draxler said it, it must be true. And it wouldn’t surprise me one bit to think Bayern would do something like that.

I really don’t understand why they feel the need to buy the bundesliga every year.

Sure, it’s through earned money, not a sugar daddy, but it will surely ruin that league as a spectacle.

Why would schalke even facilitate that? Expect this to turn into a bit if a bidding war in the summer. And Germans live Bavaria.

Hopefully he looks at his options and think there are too many of them there.

  30. WengerEagle

    Presuming we beat Palace:

    City win-

    1)Man City 56
    2)Arsenal 55
    3) Chelsea 50

    Draw-

    1)Arsenal 55

    Chelsea win-

    1)Arsenal 55
    2)Man City 53(Better GD)
    3)Chelsea 53

  31. Zeus

    Eagle

Of course a draw. We want to only worry about our results. A gap with Chelsea would be great, but we’ve dealt with the pressure of leading all season pretty well.

I don’t have confidence in us tracking city. Let them chase us.

  32. bayo

    hackney lad

We should have Arteta, Ozil, Carzola, Rosicky, wilshere for the liverpool match so that is a strong midfield but I do not think Liverpool would allow Arsenal to beat them twice within 10 days so I foresee a win in the FA cup match and a loss /draw in the league match

  33. WengerEagle

    Zeus

Even with Draxler Schalke stand literally no chance of winning the Bundesliga so if Bayern offered them 40 million why wouldn’t they take it?

If anything they would be only delighted to strengthen Bayern further to deny their fierce rivals Dortmund a title challenge next season

What in the world are you trying to say?

  35. Carts

Why is it when I close my eyes and think of the absolute bollocks that unfolded in the last week leading up to today, do I see:

Someone at Arsenal mentioning Fernando from Porto.

Wenger responds with ‘how much will it take…considering he’s a free agent in 6 months’

Someone hesitantly says ‘Porto want £7m’.

Wenger retorts with ‘NO! That is ridiculous banter from Porto. I will not bid’ .

‘But how about we make a bid…of say £5m, and see…?’

All the while, Wenger is making embarrassingly cringe offers to Lille, Newcastle, Juventus & Lazio for LOAN deals. While – not actually sure what the fuck we were doing regarding Draxler – as we chased the kid for a month a came back empty handed.

Now Bayern have sounded their horn which probably mean they’re doing a deal as we speak – to then be announced in the last day of the season.

  36. Harry Redknapp

bayern can offer schalke 50 million, end of the day draxler can decide where he goes if he has a buy out clause. rite?

  37. MidwestGun

This tells me they lack belief and quality to succeed. And this tells me you are nothing but a troll looking to stir up crap.

  38. TitsMcgee

    Jeff,

Yes very imbecillic (if that’s even a word) but at the very least he’s surrounded himself with yes-men that owe him a debt.

PPS You should forgive the super AKBs on here Ornstein and Honigstein just basically cut their God’s nuts off in front of the whole footballing world. You will understand if they are reeling.

  39. Carts

    Harry

Yes, activating a buy-out clause simply allows player to discuss move, as parent team have accepted bid.

Why Draxler would opt for Arsebal instead of Bayern when he can stay in Germany and win shit is beyond me.

Bayern can afford a £40m signing annually without selling anyone.

With that said, it’s looking increasingly likely that several players will be available to buy:

    Martinez
    Mandzukic
    Kroos??
    Shaqiri

That’s £80m of talent right thurrrrr

  40. Cesc Appeal

I do wonder sometimes if Wenger just does favours for people.

Some of the utter crap he’s brought into the club over the years. be interesting to know if Kallstrom is acquainted with Wenger already.

Hasn’t played football in 6 weeks, got a back issue, unhappy in Russia so Wenger brings him in as a favour. I don’t know. Not saying there’s any indication of that, but I’ve thought for a while an egotist like Wenger, there’s no better way to get an ego stroke than doing favours like that.

I’m still reeling from Kallstrom, doesn’t matter which why I come at it – it doesn’t make sense.

Makes even less sense seeing ‘Arsenal fans’ (Wenger fans) out there on the net saying ‘great bit of business’ I even saw one guy say ‘best transfer of the window, Arsene always knows something we don’t.’

It’s that attitude holding the club back. All the focus on Draxler is besides the point as well, yeah we failed with Draxler but why weren’t we doing other things? We left it until the last 4 hours of the window to spatter gun Europe with loan approaches.

Draxler deflects from the real issue, as always with Wenger.

  41. Cesc Appeal

It’s back to the beginning of the season now, zero margin for error or the fans will be right on his back.

  42. Nasri's Mouth

Harry Redknapp: bayern can offer schalke 50 million, end of the day draxler can decide where he goes if he has a buy out clause. rite?

Right. No club will offer more than the buyout clause.

Will come down to personal preference.

  43. Nasri's Mouth

Cesc Appeal: I do wonder sometimes if Wenger just does favours for people.

KK is seemingly a bizarre deal, but it wont be a favour. That’s even more unlikely

  44. andy1886

The really odd thing is that no-one at the club seems to question Wenger. Why isn’t Gazidis or the board in general asking him what this deal was all about? A weak board that cannot hold an employee to account makes for a rotten business model. Maybe that’s the stench of slow decay that we can smell.

  45. Evan

“The really odd thing is that no-one at the club seems to question Wenger”

Ivan isn’t going to bite the hand that feeds, Ivan’s just another puppet with no brass.

I doubt Arsene has ever been disciplined or had his position challenged, this is why Lord Wenger hates the press, they slate his cult

  46. tunnygriffboy

It’ll be down to Zelalem and Eisfield in March if injuries continue. Hopefully Jack ok for next week but realistically he should only be playing one game a week due to his ankle. Time for Ox to step up to the plate

  47. Invincibles

Do you reckon Wenger’s player recruitment consists of him standing outside a hospital ambulance bay, interrogating poor injured patients?? I mean diaby, then sanogo and now KK.

“What happened to you and what is your name”

” My names Nicolas, I had a bad motorbike smash”

“Oui, oui and the doctors prognosis”

“Well my legs are smashed but he reckons with extensive physio 15 months and I’ll be right as rain”

” 3 weeks out you say….sacre bleu, where is ze dick when you need him. Sign zis man up.5 years contract on 80,000 pound……dick…dick”

  48. Leedsgunner

Has anyone watched the pre-match conference for the CP game?

Was any journalist brave enough to ask Wenger about the whole Kallstrom catastrophe?

Not that I am expecting a straight answer but it would been nice to see him squirm in his seat… even for a moment.

Only if Paxman was a football journalist!

  49. Nasri's Mouth

Leedsgunner: Has anyone watched the pre-match conference for the CP game?

The press conference was before we signed him, it was when he made the 80/20% comment

    …which really meant 99/1%

  50. Southernpeople

I would like a chelsea win. If Citeh lose we have chance to stay top and Chelsea are not world beaters, but if Citeh draw or win they will be in strong position.

  51. Leedsgunner

    Nasri Mouth

Thanks mate. I bet Wenger made sure they had the press conference before KK was signed (especially if Wenger knew of the injury already)… just to avoid any tricky questions…

Maybe a little bit OTT and conspiratorial but after what we’ve found out today I don’t just know anymore.

  52. Cesc Appeal

I don’t really think it matters what happens with City v Chelsea, you;ve got first and second there.

    We’ll finish third I think.

Who cares about KK we have Chuks Aneke. we should recall him from the loan and he’d be like a new signing.

  54. Nasri's Mouth

    @Leedsgunner

Heehee, press conference wasn’t out of normal.

Read the goal.com link I posted. Kinda makes more sense than the Metro one.

I honestly can’t see why Wenger would be signing a CM UNLESS it was because of monday’s issues (Ramsey / Flamini) so signing a player with an injury made zero sense.

Hearing that the injury wasn’t seen as serious enough to stop him playing is the only thing I’ve heard so far that does make sense.

  55. Southernpeople

    cesc

yes it matters because Citeh are favourite but unlike pundits in love with Mourinho I don’t see them as a title favourite even if they defeat Citeh which is highly unlikely.

Mourinho obviously would park the proverbial bus and if Citeh scores I can’t see them winning.

  56. leon

asi understand it drexler is attacking midfielder so alot fans probosing wenger spend 37 million on another one when we gave risicky, wilshire, ramsey, cazola, chaberlain,Gnabry and ozil sorry thats makes zero sense to me.

  57. Southernpeople

    NM

do you think reports about KK injury is true?
    was that confirmed on Arsenal.com?

six games is too long, that would mean he’d only be able to play in March.
if that’s the case then why wenger would buy him to cover for injured Wilsh and Ramsey? It doesn’t really make any sense!!

Either they bought him injury free and he injured himself later or they’re just crazy?

  58. Nasri's Mouth

    @Southernpeople

Goal.com link above says he had a minor back injury that was picked up at the medical. Wenger was told that it wasn’t significant and he was going to train to be in the squad for next week’s game. Then the injury was aggravated in a training session et voila.

Assuming we were only looking for a CM as urgent cover since monday/tuesday (and I’d like someone to give me a convincing argument why we’d have been looking before that) then there wouldn’t have been many options.

So I can understand why we took a risk with a slight injury.

But I’d be suspicious of whether the medical staff understated the injury, or if they DID say it was serious then did Wenger ignore their advice? Or was it simply bad luck.

Might just come back to the lack of options for immediate cover given we only started looking tuesday morning

  59. ArseneWengerNose

You can’t make this stuff up. Kallstrom is injured? I mean, you’d hope that the lads running a Sunday league team wouldn’t fuck up this bad, attempting to find cover for injured players by bringing in AN INJURED PLAYER. Here we have a bunch of supposed professionals on contracts worth millions making us the laughing stock of the league. Classic Wenger.

    FUCK ME.

And another thing, enough with this positive bullcrap. I swaer positivity is synonymous with delusions. 10 years and these fucks can’t get it right? How long does it take to rebuild for God’s sake?!

  60. Invincibles

    @Nasri’s Mouth

I agree, its never Wengers fault. I reckon its because the stars weren’t aligned with the moon at time of purchase. Now I’ve been told on the QT, that the reasons the stars weren’t aligned properly was because the bloody oil barons and oligarchs had paid the stars off. Pesky shitty and chavs always their bloody fault.

Worrying thing for me is no one is talking about Jack? Get the feeling his ankle injury more serious than we are being led on to believe.

  65. Nasri's Mouth

    @Dream10

He’s been tweeting about going to training a couple of times recently, so hopefully it’s not bad. He’s meant to be ‘short’ for sunday, ok for Liverpool

  66. R.S.P.C.Arsenal

    Southern peeps

I agree said a while back that wenger should throw on a yoot to cover olly

Chucks big strong just like Campbell was when he came along in 91 and helped us win the league

  67. Nasri's Mouth

    @Invincibles

Really ? looks like you’re trying just a little too hard to be funny

    Not really your strong point

Surprised you haven’t said Wenger signed KK because he hates the club.

    That’s your line isn’t it?

  68. Invincibles

    @Nasri’s Mouth

I’m actually sticking up for your lord and master and your having a go at me. The man is a genius, you wait till next year we’ll win everything.

  69. Nasri's Mouth

    @Invincibles

Ok, the audience is walking out now. The compere is signalling furiously in the wing for you to come off

  70. Invincibles

    @Keyser
Every bloody season your one of the worst wenger apologists and excuse maker and come the end of the season when we’ve won fuck all, you make yourself look a cunt. You carry on licking the rest of the AKB’s and wengers arse, and I’ll ignore you and you ignore me. That way we’ll get on famously eh.

  71. Nasri's Mouth

    @Dream10

    Different players really

    Aneke plays deeper.

Afobe definitely isn’t good enough for us IMO.

Aneke probably isn’t good enough either. He’s 20 now. If he was doing that 12-18 months ago then maybe

  72. Jake

The trouble with arguing against the doomers is that you instantly get labelled as an ‘AKB’ and put in a box full of stereotypes and misconceptions. Just because I don’t think signing Kallstrom is a bad thing it doesn’t mean I’m licking Wenger’s rimhole.

  73. ArseneWengerNose

The Palace game will surely be tricky. Who did they also get besides Ince and Dann? Good transfer market for them.

Wouldn’t it be epic if Chamakh pulled an Aliadaire and scored? In my FM2014 game, Chamakh scored a 90th minute equaliser at the Emirates.

After that we got Liverpool (A), ManU (H), Liverpool (H), Bayern (H). That should be dreadful.

  74. Jake

Why would it be epic if Chamack scored against us? Oh yeah, because you’s prefer to see Arsenal lose so that you can be right and have a good moan. “We should never have sold Chamck, he was misused. Wenger Out.”

  75. Nasri's Mouth

    @ArseneWengerNose

I don’t think any of their signings can play tomorrow.

    Not 100% on that though…

Will be hard work, but I think we’ll win

  76. ArseneWengerNose

    @Nasri’s Mouth
Yeah I’m not sure either. Holtby played for Fulham today, but Mitroglu wasn’t even on the bench, not sure how that works.

Did Sendros play against Barcelona today? If he did, that expains why Valencia won.

  77. ArseneWengerNose

    @Nasri’s Mouth
I actually laughed out loud, or how the kids say it… lol?

I just checked and he didn’t play. Still he might have had an influence due to being able to speak many languages.

  78. jasongms

Man united losing sure does help ease the pain though ,the look on RVP ‘s face at full time was priceless . Finally I’m starting the see the reasoning behind Arsene’s transfer philosophy .

  79. leon

marble i would have agreed with you last season but not now wenger pretty much off loaded alot of the dead wood in the squad,i realy dont see any real luxury players in the team apart from bretna, and diaby sonogo far to early to say yes the need extra cover defence and another striker.it seams to me players are defending realy well ,they work hard for each other.

  80. leon

all i am reading is typical doom and gloomers because wenger did blow 37 million does not matter the kid is unproven, does not matter he is not striker realy does matter that the team already has at least 4-5 play makers he is so called big signing

  81. Craigy

I can’t believe what I just heard on sky sports news, not only did that kallstrom pass a medical injured, he’s also out till march, ha ha ha ha, this is further evidence of the lunatic that is arsene wenger, what a fucking joke this guy is! He’s loaned an injured player, so basically yet another player getting paid for sitting on the injury table. He was brought in to fill the gap for injured players, but yet he’s injured, if it wasn’t so comical I’d cry, how can an injured player pass a medical! Wenger has wel and truly lost it

  82. Invincibles

@craigy and @ wengers unused wallet

And still theirs muppets that can see no wrong in Arsehole wenger. Did you see Mersons and Charlie Nicholas face. 2 old pro’s who have probably seen it all in the football world, yet they were absolutely gob smacked.
