Time to take our ball back, tell FIFA to swivel and start our own comp, say hello to the WFA!

by & filed under Uncategorized.

That’s right people, it’s time to kick FIFA out of football, time to rid ourselves of corruption, time to get rid of boys clubs that support bung taking, turn a blind eye to racists and dodge taxes.

It’s time we took back our ball and rowed our own boat, time to get rid of pointless fixtures and injuries to the players whose salaries we pay, it’s time to put the power into the hands of those nations who make the World Cup and not the ghastly cheating bureucrats from nations that would never get into one on their footballing abilities.

It’s time for revolution! It’s time for the World Football Association!

So here’s how it works, we tell FIFA we are grateful for them seeing our bid but not reading it, but we really don’t want to listen to them, their directives, their stupid rules or their bizarre selection processes anymore.

We start up our own World Football Association, we firstly offer membership to all previous winners of the World Cup, they would all accept because they must be as sick of them as we are. We then allocate each winner a vote, votes only go to winners and that would take out most of the corruption. Before too long, every country that had a footballing culture would be on board and FIFA would cease to exist.

Now if those countries refused to join us, then we would be alone for while, so what? A world cup without England would be like an F1 team without a car.

Now as far as the World Cup going to Qatar, it has a few people complaining, let me tell you why it makes no sense to put the worlds greatest football tournament in the desert.

1) It’s way too hot and that’s why the ACN is held in January

2) Any country that bans alcohol to it’s people shouldn’t host a world cup, it may be their culture not to drink but beer and football go hand in hand, it’s in footballs DNA, so it’s footballs culture, and they should respect that. Thing is, they all drink anyway.

We are always faffing around respecting everyone else’s culture but seem to forget to respect our own, go with the majority and the majority of fans drink beer!

3) They aren’t a footballing nation and if they loved it so much then having their own league should be mandatory before applying for qualification. Didn’t they learn from USA 94?

I’m not upset because we didn’t get it, I think lobbying is just as dodgy as trying to influence voting, sending the 3 that we did was trying to curry favour and that was as bad as whatever we are accusing the others of. And we may think the three that went are the greatest (I don’t) but winning just one vote (thanks Cameron!) shows the rest of the world don’t.

Were were hugely arrogant and paid for it, sending 3 people that have never had a proper job and are hugely privileged  was never going to do it, and saying we sent the future King of England is a joke, if the Queen dies and if Prince Charles dies he may get the job, but he could be in his 70’s before that happens.

Anyway, onto all things Arsenal, another chance to go top if we beat Fulham, we stuffed them last season 4-1 in the last game, we were there and we looked good, Arsenal did too!

I would like to see Chamakh and RVP start today, the last time we saw that was Blackburn away if memory serves me right, I think JET is knocking on the door too, but 5 minutes is nonsense, maybe he can do a half each with Robin.

I think we’ll have Song back today so I hope he drops Denilson, he doesn’t deserve another chance, against Wigan he was hopeless. I expect Fabianski will be back and he’ll have a point to prove with Schwarzer at the other end. And as he has extended his (Fulham) contract I believe that rumour will end, I still expect to see Given in January and Manuel will disappear to the lower leagues of Spain.

Anyway, I expect a win and a convincing one, so have fun wrap up and enjoy the day!

FO Gooby, who is comparing anything…don’t start what you can’t finish! Dempsey held the ball, something Theo could not do.

  2. Tariq

We never like to do things the easy way. And this is why we need JD to play. He wins just about every header. Stop fucking about Wenger ffs!

  3. incesc

    thanks kush

great present that goal and top of the league for us!!

Fulham played really well, it was a hard earned victory

  4. Kreshnik

Yessssssssssss baby … i was crying at that second Nasri goal … he kept playing with a fucked kneee … he’s king

RVP baby … and the Spuds fucked it up as well. Beauty

  5. izzo

Fabregas who??? SUPER SUPER NASRI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! MOTM. GOAL OF THE SEASON. PFA PLAYER OF THE SEASON!!!

  6. jason

3 reasons why we managed to win this game

    1. Samir was brilliant.
    2. Thank God Kozzer got injured, Djourou was absolutely rock solid. Djourou- my MotM!
    3. Kamara was subbed out.

  7. Rohan

Nasri pisses all over England at the moment. Best player in the premiership at the moment. Malouda can dream about scoring that.

  8. SurferX

So, I guess we’ll still be above ManUre when we play them next week. If the spuds snatch anything off Chavski, a draw could keep us there too. Big weekend next week…

  9. Man

Nasri, obviously MOTM. Contender for World player of the year!

Theo needs to rediscover his early season form ‘cos he is playing shit atm…noticed the players were reluctant to pass him the ball.

JD has to start, he was immense when he came on, he won everything in the air and was strong in 1v1s.

I am not sure about Squilacci.

Sagna and Clichy played well. Fabianski made a couple of good saves. Everyone else was average

i am worried nasri might be injured, we would be unlucky.

can’t wait for cesc to get his top form back, we could have a very happy christmas

  14. Kreshnik

Say what you want but Clichy gets all pumped up when the chips are down and he gave his all in the end. He saw Nasri limping and was covering everywhere. Same goes for Chamack. Theo on the other hand … oh dear God.

  15. Mayank

Looks like Chelsea fucked it up as well! I didn’t dare touch the remote.

    We’re top of the league!
We are top of the league!!

    ratings:
    fabianski 6 – good saves
    clichy 5 – poor game
    koscielny 5 – played 25 mins – average
    squllici – 6.5 – average game
    djourou – 7 good game
    sagna – 7.5 – v good game – good crosses
wilshere – 7 – lost his spark today
song – v poor – 5.5 – need a new defensive midfielder in the transfer window
rosicky – 6 never really stood out today
arshavin – 7 – opening 35 mins he was fantastic after that average
    nasri – 9.5 Super samir nasri – what a game – what a goal
Chamakh – 8 – tried hard but got no where to be honest
    subs
v persie – 7.5 Good touches set the second goal up
Walcott – 5 – never got involved with the game

  17. DaleDaGooner

So how the Schwarzer look…aye? I thought he was the difference as Arshavin had 3 goals stopped by him and 1 header by Chamakh…

  18. Mayank

I hope Nasri’s alright. Why didn’t Arsene bring on Denilson like he normally does? Hope it didn’t make it worse.

  19. ismaeel

    what a weekend

    chelsea drew
    united game cancelled
    spurs drew
    phfttt
we are top of the league baby
    bring on MANURE UNITED

  20. Gooby

    clichy was superb imo

    fabianski 7
    sagna 8
    kozz 6
    squill 6
    DJ 7.5
    song 7
    sicky 6
    wilshere 7
    nasri 12
    arshavin 8
    chamakh 6
    walcott 3
    RvP 7

  21. Mayank

Song and Walcott weren’t decisive enough at times and could’ve cost us.

You gotta love it when Clichy has one of these games. Plays his fucking heart out.

  22. zeus

I don’t normally agree with the Kozzer bashing, but Jason is right I think.

In that final 15 minutes when we know its gonna be route one, Johan won ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING in the air, and when we need him Fab2 step in to make yet another vital save.

Maybe not the WC keeper we need, but for sure a talented and capable one that I don’t mind playing.

Wenger get a fecking defender in. I fear what may happen vs Man Utd with that defence. Djourou for the start though surely.

  23. incesc

citeh won with 0 men but mancini is too defensive to win the league.

hes going to try and 0-0 his way to top 4.

Hughes did us a massive favour taking kamara off.

  24. Samir

    Fabianski
    Sagna Squillaci Djourou Clichy

    Fabregas Song

    Nasri

    RVP Chamakh Arshavin

That will be the team for sure G Star 😉 Wenger thinks squillaci is undroppable 🙂

  25. izzo

RVP is a class act he came on and changed the game as well as Djourou. Hes still important to this team and those you who diss him saying hes a crock sell him and eat your words now. He is the most creative striker out there. he might not always be fit but when he plays he gives us that extra bit of class and composure. Djourou deserves a starting place in this team. I say this for the fact that he at least does the simple and wins headers.

  26. Sahara

This is one crazy season where almost anything happens. Whoever finds that consistency first wins it.
Top of the league anyway. Whoops-si-doo.

  27. ismaeel

need a new defensive midfielder plz arsene
ill be in london in a couiple of weeks hopefully see a few arsenal mathchesss

  28. Geoff

I thought Fabianski was completely useless, what the fuck does Wenger say when he watches him, Jesus!

I also think Koscielny was a waste of money and Wenger not playing him so much is fucking childish.

  29. gazzap

That was horrible watching Arsenal for the last 15 minutes. Fulham were getting the ball back so easily, it was like watching England – it looked like we were 3rd bottom and they were 3rd top. Every 50-50 or long ball was theirs. Only Djourou was winning anything for us, thanks god. not sure what happened to Song, but he fizzled out and I think nasri was injured.
I thought RVP did give us a spark. But theo, if he had a brain he’d be dangerous. He simply does not use his speed to best use.
Teams think Clichy is a weak link. I dont know whether that os down to the manager or whether teams just realise as the games go on that they are not getting past Sagna and they know Clichy always is on the egde of an error.
    Top of the league somehow.

  30. incesc

so in the league are next 3 games are

    united, stoke chelsea

then we have citeh and birmingham away soon after.

can we still be near the top after that?

then surely we have a chance

  31. Lurch LeRouge

    Fucking ecstatic. Simples.

Oh to be able to start with Nasri Cesc RVP Chamakh and Arshie. I’m semied just thinking it.

We just look like we had won it with 6 min to go, they need to maintain focus and see games through more obediently.

  32. Keyser

Choy – That’s because it’s not supposed to be easy, wish people would realise that.

Most people were saying Chelsea had won the league a few games in.

  33. ismaeel

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: “We had to work very hard because Fulham had a great game as well, but my players showed fantastic spirit and quality. Overall, we deserved it. But credit to Fulham – and Nasri too, his goals were outstanding. He showed skill, calm and intelligence and it underlines how important confidence

urrrmm what he should be sayin:
every1 played shit part from v persie, djourou and nasr. urrrrm i fink i wil buy urmmm new players in transfer window …. urrrm sell song, bentder and vela…. song played shit today…… i will sell him… i take walcott off next game and give jay emmmanuel thomas a chancew i think… urrr no more comment thankyou

  34. Geoff

Get shot of Fabianski, Koscielny, Song, Denilson and drop Clichy, yes he did well but not often enough.

Robin is class agreed Izzo, but he’ll be injured soon and that’s too costly for this team, I love him, but we need fit players.

  35. Gooby

song was solid and fabianski saved a great ball from gera

sky are bunch of cunts, saying fulham had chances and not mentioning ours

  36. gazzap

I didn’t think Fabianski was bad today. he saved a couple of one on ones and caught some crosses. there was one corner where he had to come out and challenge hangeland because he was unmarked but there were defenders on the line so it was relatively safe. The blame for that is on the defenders not marking Hangeland not fabi. He made one decent save 10 minutes from time.

  37. zeus

Doubt Fab4 plays at the weekend. Not sure I want him to either. If he is not 100, then he is a hindrance to the team.

RVP changed nothing in my opinion, not bashing him or anything. But aside from the assist to Nasri, the only thing I remember of him is getting a bloody nose and me screaming ‘close him down u idiot’.

  38. Rohan

    What’s gotten into you Geoff?

Fabianski had a more than decent game. Made one error but other than that was outstanding, made a couple of good saves and his distribution was impeccable.

As for Koscielny, blame Squillaci if you want to blame anyone at all. I really don’t get the Kosicileny bashing on here….

  39. A.F.C Lambo

Fucking proud today. Sami sami nasri. fuck you yids . We are top . two top players in jan will win us the title .

  40. jeff

Sure england deserve the world cup cause of their heritage and yada yada yada…but heres the facts

no one in their right mind will vote for England to host the WC when a couple of days before this happens, in the top flight mind you:
    [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guq1dIpv0F8&fs=1&hl=en_US]

    case closed

  41. Mayank

Geoff, this is what you took from the game? That we should get shot of x, y, z.

Fulham created nothing when Kos was there. He had a concussion ffs!

  42. BigRed1

Now I know I normally post crap but that was a massive performance and result, that could be the start of a title winning run, they dug in and won, brilliant………..

  43. DaleDaGooner

For the record, Kozzer is better for us than Squillaci, I like him in the side, but not to get every game like he is, Wenger seems to favor him…Kos and Djourou are the current better partnership, I hope he is ok, and I hope Nasri isn’t injured, massive blow if he is, I hope Cesc is up for it and I hope RvP is also up for it. Manure need to be beaten! simple, they have not lost a league game yet, our rcord is at stake and title is at stake, we need everyone for that game…I hope we see

    1. Fabianski (Top form, please)
    2. Sagna
    3. Clichy (Top form, please)
    4. Song (Sit back!)
    5. Djourou (he has to be a starter along side either)
    6. Koscielny (i prefer him, Squillaci is slow)
    7. Nasri (OUR BEST PLAYER HAS TO FEATURE)
    8. Fabregas (He better be up for this game)
    9. Chamakh ( Please be greedy, please!)
    10. Van Persie (He is class, just wish he isn’t glassy)
    11. Arshavin (He is in form, dangerous! and direct)

Wilshere may feature, not sure who should make way

This team, to me is our best 11, Unfortunately, Wenger is too hard headed to use this, this would be a similar team to a Barca team.

Denilson should in no way feature not unless we are 3-4 goals up and Nasri, VP or Cesc needs to rest.

  44. Rohan

Naah zeus, that assist to Nasri was simple, but not many people would have done that fake to fool the defender while doing it and give Nasri a bit more space to manouevre himself.
RvP definitely gives us some much needed precision and verve up front. I also don’t think that one Cesc is fit, Chamakh should play too much at home.

  45. jason

the only thing i hate is that we have to win vs belgrade this wed. If we have sewn the table up, we could have played a second string side vs belgrade.

damn man utd will have 2 weeks rest. they rested today and will field a second string side this tues.

  46. Man

We were cruising the match until they scored. We just lost it mentally after their goal. This is what I have been saying for ages…this team still has not developed the right mentality. in terms of ability they have what it takes. The good thing the other big teams are playing shit this season so we SHOULD win the league.

I am still pleased that for the second week in a row when we needed to win to go top we succeeded in doing it, maybe their ‘mentality’ is improving eh!

  47. izzo

Geoff every team has that one player thats always injured. I agree with the players that should be gone but I’d keep rvp nonetheless

lol @ ismael JET deserves a chance. Walcott really is stinking it up

  48. incesc

fabianskis distribution was shit at the start of the 2nd half, he kept on hoofing it up for hangeland to win eveery time.

he also flapped and we needed robin to clear it off the line…

he does look better as he isnt getting punished as much as last season but hes hardly a top keeper

  49. Mayank

Rohan it’s like the Nasri bashing(nipped in the bud by Nasri himself) of last year. Really not too hard to see past a few indifferent performances to realise where the talent is.

  50. Rohan

If Koscielny had gone down, the ref probably wouldn’t have blown, and we’d have been calling him a pussy and a weakling much like we deride Denilson.

When he gets up and tries to defend, we call him a liability and what not. As I said earlier, if Koscielny were English, we’d be calling him the second coming of John Terry, brave lion ready to put his body on the line and what not.

I really don’t get why people have it in for him.

  51. Confidentgoner

Song is good, just needs to sit home more. I blame AW for this. If he was not playing to instructions, I fully expect AW to call his attention, but hey…

    AW simply annnoys

  52. Keyser

We just need to be a bit more efficient, Van Persie might not have done much, but how many times will you see other people cock up a simple pass to the feet of an unrushing player, he generally gets that right almost every time.

Also as soon as he turned on his left, Fulham shit it.

Last year the system suited Fabregas to the ground, with him out of the team, Nasri’s taken it on himself and he’s benefitting.Arshavin and Rosicky can also pick and pass on oppurtunites as they please. I don’t know if Van Persie and Chamakh will work but it’s early days yet.

We’re slowly getting there, slowly but hopefully surely.

  53. incesc

i think defence is the area we need to sort and quick.

not even in the market but just start drilling them everyday, other wise we could end up 4th or 5th after man u, stoke and chelsea.

  54. Mayank

Incesc, credit to Hangeland as well for that. He beat the Arsenal player everytime. Song and JD were actually the only players i remember who won a header against him.

As for the flap, I feel that if he hadn’t gone for it the player could’ve had a decent shot. Fabi needs work on his upper body strength.

  55. Pat

4 – Andrey Arshavin has now assisted a goal in each of his last four Premier League appearances for Arsenal. Simples.

  56. incesc

wenger must see kamara and dempsey ripping them apart at the end of the 2nd half and think, rooney and drogba up next, fuck!!

  57. DaleDaGooner

People just like to complain for no reason..I hope to God Wenger gets Gary Cahill, i want to hear what the tune would be…..Walcott has been shit and i don’t hear Geoff telling us we should get rid of him.

Koscielny had a concussion FFS! I blame him for not saying “Fuck it, i’m going down” he got hit by his own partner, who in my opinion, is behind Djourou (another defender many have bashed on here) Wenger’s fault is he does not play the form players or formation. Djourou and Koscielny for me are the ying and yang we can rely on right at the moment, Kos playes very well next to Djourou, I like Squillaci, but he should be 3rd choice at the moment!

  58. Keyser

Incesc – Mate come on, he saved a one on one, stopped a good shot from Gera and the flap wasn’t really his fault, Hangelaand’s left unmarked 6 yards out, wasn’t his fault, but I’m glad he put some pressure on him.

  59. Rohan

We win a great game to go top of the league and we come on here bashing the players, Wenger and what not.

Yes, there’s room for improvement, but if you can’t take the joy of winning and all you have time for is moaning, I ask ye, what exactly is the point of supporting a team.

  60. Mayank

I wouldn’t bother with JD against Utd. Utd more or less play the ball on the ground and Kos is much better at that.
Against Chelsea I’d like JD to start.

  61. incesc

    yeah true rohan

    apologies.

it was a great win and fulham played very well.

I am really pleased with the win, we really needed 3 points at home to stop the rot there, top of the league.

    im off to get pissed

    peace

  62. Erichero

I was enjoying reading the comments till Geoff arrived. Seriously dude.

I’m off to another blog now, some place where they don’t take wins and top of the tables for granted like some divine right. That’s just a diss on Geoff, not on the rest of you. Happy day.

  63. Arindam@KOL

    bullshit , Mayank.

United play the ball on the ground ? You gotta be kiddin me… Vidic bailing them out against Villa …Many of Berbacunt’s goals this season has been from crosses.

JD must start agaisnt the Manure.

  64. BigRed1

Save the analising till tomorrow, we won , Spuds and Putins Pussies didn`t, its Saturday night, go and wallow in it…………..

  65. DaleDaGooner

And we know what is shit amongst fans…jeeze give it a rest, someday we’ll have an all English technically gifted team at Arsenal some day, TODAY, we have what we have and i’ll be fair n my judgment.

Fabianski, i hated him in our side, but he has played better than reina has in the last 4 or 5 games, thank God we didn’t cough up 25million for the same comedy keeping.

Koscielny, if he were English, he’d be King George ATM, shame he is an unknown johnny foreigner, who has no home. He’s on 25k a week and not costing us 60k a week to run around like a headless chicken.

Gary Cahill would be like John Terry for us at the back, no doubt.

What a facking goals by nasri!! WOW! What a goals!
Absolutely amazing! And i thought fulhams goal was unfair, koscielny would have been there if squillaci didn’t header him. Djourou has to start, what an absolutely amazing defender. Squillaci for me to bad.
But again, what a goals from nasri!

Aw will still not buy. He needs a DM, a CD, a Winger , a striker and a GK. needs to get shot of Dennilson, Theo or Bendtner.

Will he do it? NO. He has no motivation to come first
