Rumours, gossip and transfer snippets!

by & filed under Uncategorized.

I love the summer… especially when I know the best manager in the world has a mini war chest at his disposal.

Too many party poopers frequent the net lambasting any transfer rumour as idle tittle tattle, or the work of evil hacks.

Hacks apparently split their time between torturing small puppies and devising the next best way to anger Arsenal fans.

Simon NoTW: Gerry, I think what you’re doing there is pretty out of order…

Jon Daily Mail: What, you think the washing up liquid in the eyes is over kill?

Simon NoTW: No Gerry, I mean the rumour you just put on newsnow… getting Arsenal fans hopes up over a £20million transfer is quite frankly disgusting… but the evilness is unparalleled… mwhahaha!

Personally, I love the roller coaster ride of the summer when we know there is a good chance that some of the players touted could be heading our way. Who knew about Felipe Melo before the hacks announced him on the scene? Not many I bet… I wonder how many people subsequently tuned into the Confederations cup to perform an armchair scouting report after? A fair few I reckon! I’m sure that is what football is all about… Idle gossip never killed anyone… well, maybe Dr David Kelly… but in the footballing sense… all I see it doing is enhancing the global brand of football.

For 2 months, it diverts our inward looking selves away from the Premiership and gives us a chance to survey what’s going on elsewhere in the world, it gives crap websites the chance to up their hit ratings and it give the Grovers plenty to chew over!

Transfer speculation is part and parcel of the modern game; if the internet was about way back when, I’m sure people would have enjoyed it just as much. All the people who can’t stand to read a bit of idle speculation and try to suck the joy out of everyone else’s summer by constantly moaning about it need to lighten up and stop taking themselves so seriously. Enjoying a rumour isn’t a sin… you’ve not been fooled if you get excited about a player joining… no one is laughing at you, I promise. If you still want to bury your head in the sand and base your whole summer around what are saying… enjoy yourself, I know I was desperate to find out what Nasri’s moment of the season was… Zzzzz!

Long live speculation, long live the 40 goal a season sensation from Mozambique and long live warm summer days stuck in an office clicking refresh on the newsnow feed!

I wouldn’t change it for the world!

Have a great day Grovers!

Its funny the way laporta has come out and slammed madrid.they have spend nearly 130 million in the last 2 seasons. And platini comes out and says he admires barcelona

  2. nishanth

I read somewhere that madrid are going to snap up albiol for 15 million. If he was available for 15 we should have moved for him

  3. Nick

Arsenal remain strongly in the hunt 4 Felipe Melo however they are only willing 2 pay 10 million + Senderos while Fiorentina want 15+Senderos. Inter remain very interested. Gohkan Inler, Miguel Veloso and Thomas Hitzelsperger are on the short–list as well. Arsenal are still in the hunt 4 Mamadou Sakho and are willing 2 offer 8 million + Silvestre which may b looked on favourably by PSG. A deal 4 Fulham’s Brede Hangeland has stalled as Fulham want 15–20 million while AW is only willing 2 offer 8 million + the loan of Gibbs/Traore.
Arsenal will make a double swoop on VFB Stuttgart for Thomas Hitzlsperger and Sedar Tasci.

  4. Honest Bill

I think a mountain seems to be being made out of a mole-hill. It’s not as though we were relegated now was it. We still retained our top four status, mounted a serious Champs league challenge, and spent fuck all in the process.

We also gave some of our young players invaluable experience, which most players of their age don’t get, and they will be far improved as a result.

Sure i felt the disappointment too, i want to see Arsenal challenging (at least) for the big titles. But i believe we will be capable of doing so next season.

Then if we do, Wenger will be a genius again. Let’s get some perspective here. I actually couldn’t believe all the people saying Wenger should be sacked throughout the season?

Are people fucking insane? No, just incredibly fickle in all probability/

  5. Steve

I never want Wenger sacked. If anyone else worked for this board we’d be in the bottom half of the table at best.

  6. SharkeySure

Geoff 12.47. You;ve gott aknowe that a lot of what he says in th epress is for the benefit of his players.

You get offered a job and you’re over the moon. Then you find out that you were third or fourth choice…still happy…?? Thats all he’s done for DenilSong….tried to get them believing that they are good enough and that he has complete faith in them.

He’s hardly gonna tell them …I don’t think either of you are ready, but give it a go anyway.

its hwy Maureeen told Fat Frank he was the best in the world, told Zlatan the smae thing, and Aragones tried to tell Reyes the same thing ..but in a rather less PC way.

Its simply trying to give someone confidence to do a good job, its not limited to football.

    You remember the old joke:
Trainer. Boss, he’s concuseed and doesn’t know who he is.
Boss. Tell him he’s Pele and send him back on

Emmanuel Adebayor’s agent claims a ‘very important team’ has made contact about the Arsenal striker, but there has been no interest from Chelsea or Manchester United.

Tabloid speculation has claimed that the Gunners have offered Adebayor to Serie A rivals AC Milan and Inter Milan in an attempt to prevent the Togo ace joining Chelsea.

Milan tried to sign Adebayor last summer and former Rossoneri coach Carlo Ancelotti’s move to Chelsea has prompted rumours the forward could also head to Stamford Bridge.

Premier League champions United have also been linked with a bid, but the player’s agent Stephane Courbis says Arsenal’s domestic rivals have not been in touch.

    Keeping quiet
“As of today, I have not even got evidence to speak of presumed interest from Chelsea and Manchester United,” Courbis told

“It’s a given fact that Carlo Ancelotti likes the player seeing that last year he tried to sign him for Milan, although Chelsea have not contacted us.

“We have not received any calls, not from Milan or Ancelotti. Another team has contacted us, but I cannot say anything, it’s a very important team.”

Courbis also confirmed there has been no meeting with Milan and is confident Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is not looking to cash in on the £25million-rated former Monaco man.

He added: “There has not been any meeting with Milan for Adebayor and lately I have not received a call on their behalf.

“This doesn’t mean Ade is for sale to resolve Arsenal’s economic problems. I spoke with Arsene Wenger this morning and he told me nothing of the kind.”

  8. Geoff

Bill some of us actually like to see our team win something occasionally, we pay more than anyone worldwide to see our team, we deserve more.

That or carry on as we are and charge us less, like West Ham do, that way there is no expectation.

  9. Duke

Honest Bill, the thing is we are not a school, we are not here to give young players valuable experience and then sell them to other clubs. I don’t give a shit about the individual, only about Arsenal.
You believe we can do good next season? Well I have been saying that for 4 years, and last year when we let all our DM go and sold Hleb and brought in only Nasri (of note mentioning) I gave up. I knew we are going to win fuck all, and I was correct. We need more signings and luck with injuries, then we might challenge.

  10. nishanth

I don’t really bother much when comes out and says something stupid. As long as the team wins its fine. What frustrated me the most last season was the way he handled the squad at times. His player selection was pretty poor.Substitutions were even wierder.Hope i don’t get to see much of that next season

  11. SharkeySure

“he lies all the time and people like you expect us to believe him!.”

Geoff, weren;t you saying much the smae thing baout your use of statistics for clients. You change the story to get the answer you want. Two clients want two diff answers to the same question, then you’ll make it happen won;t you.

Its spin Geoff…I really do think it is a simple as that

  12. Nick

i would like Richards signed over lagerland or sicko he is cover at rb or cb at a push dcm and is English a fan and available with premier experience.

  13. nishanth

    The major ones were
    RVP playing wide left
    Diaby playing wide left
    Eboue playing
Denilson and song in the same team
    Vela not given oppurtunities
Taking too fucking long to drop toure from the team

  14. El

Good day fellas.. I would just like to say that I will be glad to see the back of Adebayor. I was surprised when Wenger signed him because he had a suspect temperament to begin with when he was in disagreement with the Togo coach and refused to play for the national team until the situation was resolved. Subsequentially we have also had to endure the player’s ego which inflates uncontrollably at times… the news that his agent is lobbying on his behalf to get him a transfer to the Chavs will ultimately hack off the powers which be which I dearly hope will lead to this disruptive individual being shipped off to either of the Milans for a fee which should not be less than £20 million.

As a replacement… Dzeko looked promising but this one appears dead in the water now! After watching the goals from the Sweden vs Serbia U21 match last night.. one player in particular stood out head and shoulders above the rest being Marcus Berg who albeit young he is also blessed with two good feet, looks to be another 6 footer and a technically sound player! If our scouts do not have him on their radar then we should employee some new ones because this Scandinavian prospect seems to have what we need… AW sign him up now!!

  15. Geoff

Sharkey glad you were paying attention, difference is my clients don’t charge what Arsenal do for season tickets.

Spin is one thing, bareface lying is another.

  16. Honest Bill

Geoff. I agree entirely, I too was unhappy with our performance last season. But let’s not pretend everything was under Wenger’s control. Just look at the players we had sidelined for a huge portion of the season, and for important games.

He’s not a psychic is he? How could anyone foresee that.

I agree that he makes questionable decisions some times, and he really need to provide proven back up in key positions. But let’s not go pretending that the man who has coached the side from the very definition of mediocrity, to the giant club that we see today, is somehow inept and unfit to manage.

    It’s ridiculous.

  17. Duke

Sharkey, and that is exactly what he is saying, but it is our club, we want to be told the truth, no other club lies as much as AFC does.

Geoff, totally agree RE ticket prices, in the last 5 years we have achieved as much as Fulham bar playing CL. We won as much, and if we pay 1200 quid a season (you pay 2500 x 2) and could have had a Fulham season ticket for 400.
Put the fucking prices down or start winning, simple as that. Fucking most clubs cut their prices because of the recession, we froze ours. Bullox I say.

  18. nishanth

Geoff i don’t think there is any manager out there who is honest all the time.If the team is not performing well most of them come up with some sort of excuses.Everyone mocks wenger when he makes excuses for losing.Mourinho, benitez and fergie do the same all the time

  19. Davi

nishanth – denilson and song were good when they played together
and please stop about eboue. He was brilliant for the last couple of months. Hes a good player to have around

the other ones i agree on – even though we did have injuries, its no excuse to be playing diaby wide left. even worse was when we had diaby left and denilson/ramsey right.
We had bischoff and vela ready to play…

  20. Geoff

Bill we’ve had bad injuries since Wenger has been there, when you buy a crock, he stays a crock.

Look at Wengers record, KanU, Overmars, Silvestre, Bischoff, RVP, Diaby, Clichy and Rosicky. All injured when we bought them.

Rosicky went to Dortmund for £18mill a European record, we buy him 2 years later for £7.5, wonder why, psychic? No just another crock on the cheap.

  21. SharkeySure

Steve 13.11. I’m with you on that one.

13.13. Mabe I did once know it was from Clougie, but since then I figured it was a Ron Atkinson gag. Maybe it was just big Ron retelling the tale.

    Cheers anyway.

  22. charybdis1966

I hope to go Fran, if Peaches can get me a ticket. We might get to see the Verminator (and Melo/other DCM) in action then.

  23. nishanth

Davi denilson and song were really poor when they played together.Eboue was okay at best. Not close to brilliant. He should be used as backup RB only.

  24. Honest Bill

None of thoose players i listed are particularly injury prone, not even Clichy, who has had great runs of games. So i’m asking how could he possibly foresee them all being sidelined?

  25. Franchise

Benitez lets the fans know when its the board trying to dick around. At least their fans know whats happening inlike us.

What does i dont have £100m to spend actually mean?

HBill u right re the injuries but b4 the injuries set in we were struggling? we actually had a better run in all competitions with injuries.

everything went wrong from the moment we didnt replace flamini. cesc coulndt function anymore. the season b4 the bulk of creativity came through him. imagine that 😯

  26. nishanth

We do have terrible luck when it comes to injuries.I don’t think any team out there suffer the way we do.Also they tend to get injured during the crunch time. But how long can we keep making these excuses?

  27. Steve

It’s no coincidence Bill either that every year Wenger publicly states before the season ticket deadline that we are searching for players and have money and soon after deadline day changes his mind again.

My ST has to be renewed by June 1st, why didn’t Wenger mention that he has no/little money to spend before that??

It wouldn’t affect my choice to buy one as I’ve been going for nearly 30 years but…..

  28. Franchise

i see chary. i might have to wait until the emirates cup but if im free for barnet then why not? 😉

  29. SharkeySure

Nish 13.18. I’m an AKB and I agree with al of that.

Worst one of all for me was starting AdeNuff in the CL 2nd leg after his 1st leg ‘performance’!!!

  30. gambon

Its not just about shirt sales with madrid, its about the commercial money they make, including merchandise.

I think at the last count Madrid made about £130m per season from this revenue stream, we made £33m. So thats £97m pa more than us… wonder they can splash the cash.

They wouldnt be earning that kind of commercial money if they have Denilson, Diaby, Song in their team.

  31. Steve

nish, other big clubs have injuries to key players too. They just have a squad with depth. You don’t hear the Chavs blaming not winning the league on Joe Cole being out do you??

  32. nishanth

Franchise there is no way you can blame the board at liverpool.Yes those 2 fight a lot but have always provided bentitez funds. They have spent shit loads of money in the last 3 seasons.Benitez is using them as scapegoat to get away

  33. Honest Bill

I agree Franchise. Not replacing Flam and Gilberto was indeed a critical mistake. All i’m asking is for a little perpective form what seems to be the prevalent opinion that we were no better than a third rate side. Which is patently untrue. Given our misfortunes, we performed pretty well

  34. Geoff

Bill we got Rosicky for a third of what Dortmund paid because he was a crock, we got Silvestre already injured, Kanu had a hole in the heart, Overmars knee ligament damage, Bischcoff groin, Clichy broke his foot 2 seasons running, the list goes on.

He buys them cheap and gambles, Rosicky has been injured 2 out of 3 seasons, that’s no surprise, he was when he was at Dortmund.

I could have told you we’ll have injuries and we will next season, that’s why I keep saying we need 2 great players in each position.

  35. Duke

I can’t believe how many people are on here this summer saying that we should respect Denilson, Song, Diaby, Eboue, what has happened? Just because the season is over did you all forget how horrible they are? They shouldn’t start more games than Gibbs did last season. They should be the last resort. Or maybe it is because school finished and everyone is on here now? Grow up people, take of the pink shaded glasses. Those players wouldn’t make the reserves of ManUre, Pool, Chavs, Barca, Real, Inter. And those are the teams who should be our direct rivals, not Villa, Everton, Roma, Atletico Madrid.

  36. Geoff

Gambon I concur so when Ronaldo cost £160 million with salary there is no way they’ll ever see that back on merchandising, they may have made £130 last year but it was combined .

  37. nishanth

Agree with you upto an extent steve. But you need a little bit of luck though when it comes to injuries. We just don’t have that.I am not saying injuris are the reason why we have won fuck all for the last 4 seasons. We always tend to lose our players at the most important part of the season

  38. Honest Bill

True, ideally you do want two good players in each position, but it’s just not viable. I don’t believe the club are as skint as we’re being told, but they are still paying off the stadium and just can’t afford that.

And it still doesn’t explain having key players like Fab, Gallas, Ade, Almunia, Walcott, injured.

Given this, we stll managed to perform reasonably well.

  39. Nick

if we add the players needed we have a great chance this year we have the cb we wanted if we get the dcm ball winner and a striker to replace adenuff we are a great team capable of beating anyone imo

Manure this year will struggle after losing the winker

chavs are ageing and anchovey will have to over haul that squad over a couple of seasons if he sticks around too

Liverfool are all over the pace behind the scenes which will hopefully distract the playing side

manshitty will be the team to watch , but dont think Hugh’s will be able to cope with so many egos might implode

  40. Davi

Nishanth – ok at best?! he was one of our best players on many occasions in the last 2 months, along with song. Who else can carry the ball out of defence like him, except maybe toure?
he draws defenders onto him and causes them to loosen their marking. It opens up the opposition. I think hes really important against the “park the bus” opposition personally.
Granted he has his faults with composure in particular but technically and physically hes a top player
Anyway I gtg, I’ll read your response later tho

  41. gambon

Geoff you’re right they wont make a profit on Ronaldo but you dont bring a player in to make a profit on him (well, unless youre a frenchman based in North london!)

  42. nishanth

Honest bill i agree with you about injuries. But that would have been more suitable arguement for the 2007-2008 season. We had 23 points from the first 14 matches last season when most of the players were fit.

  43. Steve

We cannot afford 2 top players for each position, which is why Wenger always buys players who are autonomous.

  44. nishanth

Davi how many matches has eboue won us against ‘park the bus’ oppositions?Eboue did improve a bit because he was that fucking bad earlier on.Not laying blame on him cos he shouldn’t have played in the first place

  45. gambon

We have a first team squad of about 26 players and a £100m+ wage bill, i’d say we can afford 2 players for each position.

Its the make up of the squad thats the problem, not the size of it.

  46. Honest Bill

Nishanth. Ok fair point. But remember that we were in the champs semi finals, with a makeshift defence. That could have gone a little differently, then all of a sudden the team doesn’t look half as bad.

I am not attempting to deny that we weren’t a good enough squad last season. But people are making a lot more out of it than they ought to.

And criticising the hell out of the players isn’t helpful. I’m not saying they don’t deserve it sometimes, But let’s face it. Denilson was giving two shit performances each of those games.. One for himself and one for Cesc, because apparently all his totally lazy performances were somehow Denilson’s fault.

  47. SharkeySure

But if Wenger really doesn’t think Song and Denilson are ready, how is he gonna tell us that without DenilSong finding out??

Re other ‘lies’. I just don’t get why anyone thinks big business should be ultra transparent. It just isn’t.

  48. gambon

Big business doesnt need to be transparent, Arsenal are far from ‘Big’ and they rely 100% on their fans loyalty, they should be 100% honest with us cos collectively we make or break them.

  49. nishanth

Bill cesc didn’t give a lazy performance. He was played out of position and worked pretty hard i thought.I am not blaming denilson. Its too much to ask from him.Wenger should have bought some1.And we really should be beating villareal team minus cazorla and senna with a makeshift defence.

  50. Geoff

Gambon it was Perez who said they’d pay for themselves!

My point was Arshavin will pay for himself in shirt sales so would Dzeko, £15 mil is way different to £80 mil so Wenger could buy as they would fund themselves, all this skint shit is, well shit.

  51. nishanth

minus ade also.I would have said diaby also but like the fact that he is actually trying to sort out his weakness.Wonder where he will play next season though.

  52. KM in WALES

nishanth & steve – ur right with a DM we can. However its a load of other factors as well: no major injuries to key formation? Wengerball.

  53. nishanth

Sharkey but thats like taking a big gamble don’t you think playing denilson and songs to see if they come good or not.He wanted another DM which showed that he didn’t have full faith in denilson or song. And was the gamble worth taking?Definitely not

  54. nishanth

Flamini was a safe bet.We had diarra and gilberto as backup. And we all know that denilson or song are not exactly world beaters

  55. Franchise

Nish when i mentioned Bill it was with regards the Barry / Alonso thingy?

he let the fans know that he wasnt involved in any negotiations to get Barry or sell Alonso. it was all Rick Parry’d doings

  56. SharkeySure

Gamb…how are they gonna be 100% honest with us without leaking info to their competitors…??

Change your loyalty sentence around a bit….’the fans are 100% loyal’. Moan and bitch as much as we want, but we’re still gonna support ’em.

Arsenal have always been the most secretive club going, its nothing new.

100% honesty in business(big or small)..?? You’ll be a long time waiting to see that.

  57. Honest Bill

Nishanth, I have to disagree. I didn’t see Cesc give 100% in many games until he was given the captaincy

  58. Duke

Sharkey, well Arsenal is much much much less honest than any other club. I am not saying they should tell us every single little detail, just be as honest as other clubs.
RE telling us Song/Den are shit, he shouldn’t be doing that in the first place as they should not be playing. No one would blame Wenger is Den had 10 games and Song had 7. I am not bothered to look it up but I am sure it was something like 45 for Den and 30 for Song.

  59. nishanth

You talking about the beginning of season?Well yes he was guilty of that. You could say he was tired after the euros

  60. Honest Bill

Choy, Perhaps he was, but all i’m saying is that Denilson, while not brilliant, was painted as a completely inept, one legged, retard, just to avoid admitting that Cesc was playing shit. Confidence plays a huge part in football.

  61. SharkeySure

Nish. 13.56. You misunderstand my point.

When Inlers plane to London leaves without him on it, you look at DenilSong and tell them they rae brillinat, nad that you have faith in them. What else can tou tell them…??

Its a gamble if he cancelled Inlers ticket, but he didn’t it wasn’t his choice.

Without the element of ‘choice’ how can you think its a gamble. He also tried to get Alonso (at a fixed price) on deadline day. That also failed.

So he tried to buy two BMWs, but ended up having to ‘soup up’ two Ford Escorts.

  62. nishanth

Bill i am not laying the blame on denilson.Denilson did well by HIS STANDARDS and also considering the fact that it was his first season as a first choice DM at the age of 20.The fact that we had to depend on him was wenger;s fault

  63. Nick

Just been to the gym and there’s a new machine. Only used it for an hour as I started to feel sick. Its good though, it does everything ‘Kitkats, Mars bars, Snickers and crisps’ !

  64. choy

well cesc has a lot to fall back on… he is a crowd favourite and he was resting on his laurels,

denilson on the other hand hasn’t done much, so he will not be easily forgiven and much more scrutinised in how he plays…

that’s just the way it is i guess.

  65. KM in WALES

choy agree with u.cesc is young & players like cesc, torres & ronaldo suffered burnout after the euro’s hence why they were out for a while.flamini’s absence & denilson’s naivety meant that Cesc had a huge workload, however i think in the latter part of the season he started to show a lot of aggression which u need to succeed esp. In the EPL.

  66. nishanth

Sharkey read what i posted at 13:16.I can understand y he makes these excuses. He wouldn’t have had to do all this had he bought a DM

  67. Nick

A man and a friend are playing golf one day at their local golf course. One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course. He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes, and bows down in prayer.

His friend says: “Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You truly are a kind man.”

The man then replies: “Yeah, well we were married 35 years.”

  68. SharkeySure

But Duke…what choice did he have once Inler turned round at the airport, and Alonso wasn’t available on deadline day.

There’s a few debates aboout why Alonso wasn’t signed, but I don’t believe it was over a small amount of money.

Don’t worry about the stats, I know what you mean..?

  69. nishanth

Also in the beginning cesc ended up playing deeper than denilson at times.Clearly does not suit his game

  70. Honest Bill

Nishanth. I agree with you. Wenger did drop the ball on not acquiring a proven DM. But if we manage to sign one this summer, then we will have a great DM, plus Song and Denilson as pretty good back up.

Again i’m not saying Wenger doesn’t make mistakes. I’m just saying that an inexperienced MF, looks much worse alongside an injury riddled first team, which is beyond Wenger’s control.

  71. SharkeySure

    Duke – less honest..??

But look at some of the shenanigans at other clubs, Mutu’s sacking at the chavs, managerial merry go rounds etc etc.

I’m fairly happy that as a whole our club doesn’t get involved in media title tattle.

Ps.This ain’t meant as a dig at you

  72. nishanth

Hope we will be a lot more lucky next season.I am really excited about next season.Fitness of arshavin, cesc, new DM and gallas will be vital next season

  73. Nick

oi im not obese you cheeky cunt im fucking fit
I got banned first i win read back frank sounds like a stalker you better watch out odd bods about 🙂

  74. KM in WALES

oh well another 2weeks & we’l know whether Melo is gona come to Arsenal.i think if that fails we should sell Ade to Milan & get Flamini back off them.btw anyone know whether Flamini is happy at Milan?

  75. Nick

km fuck flemboy he put us in the shit last year why have him back.If all was well with him he wouldn’t look twice at us his an utter CUUUUUNT

  76. Duke

Sharkey, what he could have done is sing Alonso for the 2 more mil they wanted, he could generate it back by selling any of the CM we have at the club and reserve level, shit he could have sold Randall for that much. Or not buy Silvestre. There are many choices. The most important is Flamin and Gilberto left, and Dolphin head left 4 month prior. Surely you know you shouldn’t wait until deadline day to try and get at least 1 replacement for the 3…
Regarding being less honest, I didn’t actually mean that, did I say that? 😛 I meant they give us less info, just for example when was the last time you ever remember us signing a player and on it saying we signed “Enter name” for 12.5 mil pounds, on a 4 year deal with 50,000 a month wages.
Everything is always fucking undisclosed with Arsenal, that is not fair on the fans. This is a small example, there million of things they don’t tell us while other clubs do.

  77. KM in WALES

ArsenalTOM – i think Rafa is awful in transfer dealing. Barry better than Alonso?wtf £17m for johnson?he rarely buys a good player maybe 1/5 every year.

Duke im fine with that as long as they say we have signed someone i dont care how much ect. That gives Arsenal more power negotiating future deals and stops current players getting the hump because x gets paid more

Two campers are hiking in the woods when one is bitten on the rear end by a rattlesnake.
“I’ll go into town for a doctor,” the other says.
He runs ten miles to a small town and finds the town’s only doctor, who is delivering a baby.
“I can’t leave,” the doctor says. “But here’s what to do: take a knife, cut a little X where the bite is, suck out the poison, and spit it on the ground.”
The guy runs back to his friend, who is in agony.
“What did the doctor say?” the victim asks.
    “He says you’re gonna die.”

A woman is like a KFC, once you’re finished with the breasts and the juicy thigh, all you have left is a dirty smelly box to stick your bone in.

A man returned home from the night shift and went straight up to the bedroom. He found his wife with the covers pulled over her head, fast asleep. Not to be denied, the horny husband crawled into bed sheet and proceeded to give her one.

Afterward, he hurried downstairs for something to eat and was startled to find breakfast on the table and his wife pouring coffee. “How’d you get down here so fast?” he asked. “We were just making love!”

“Oh my God,” his wife gasped, “That’s my mother up there! She came over and complained of having a headache. I told her to lie down for awhile.”

Rushing upstairs, the wife ran to the bedroom, “Mother, I can’t believe this happened. Why didn’t you say something?”

The mother-in-law huffed, “I haven’t spoken to that bastard for 15 years and I wasn’t about to start now!”
