Have yourselves a very Merry Christmas!

by & filed under Uncategorized.

When Mrs Bear asked me what I really wanted for Christmas I said Green, Chelleini, Alonso and David Villa, she said to me ‘don’t be stupid, everyone knows Arsenal don’t spend money anymore’

She didn’t really, but you get my drift, I really hope that we make some signings in the window because we all know we need them and if he signs one of them it will really make my Christmas.

A short but happy festive post Grovers, whatever your religion and wherever you live let’s not forget to have fun and celebrate Santa’s birthday.

Also remember to drink sensibly and responsibly, being drunk is not big and it’s not cool and whatever else you do, don’t buy a puppy for anyone, a puppy is for life (are you listening Arsene)

Pedro and I would like to wish you all a happy Christmas and to thank you all for all your support this last two seasons, tomorrow’s a big game, win that and we’ll win the league, oh yeah and it will snow today, right!

Have a fun filled day Grovers, back to football tomorrow!

AW has said we will qualify for the CL this season so I am no longer worried.

I’ll just carry on with my Xmas festivities.

    morning all,
hope you enjoyed your xmas day.

i am full of confidence after wengers latest comment about it not being a disaster if we fail to qualify for next years c.l. and last week he was saying we could still win the league.

it is extremely difficult to be confident today,8 goalf for 11 conceded in our last 8 league games, with only 3 wins.Like all of us I want us to thump villa, but i just can’t see it happening with the players available.Qite frankly a draw is not enough,i don’t see any of the other top 4 slipping up,but heres hoping

I just wish Wenger would just shut up & concentrate on getting the required results. Opening his mouth to the media about issues is a sign its getting to him. How often is Martin O’Niell blabbing to the press?

    PDT,
    true,

but we had more of a team then, fewer injuries and no disruptin in the campl.I admire your optimism, but wenger has put us in a position which wasn’t neccessary but apart from nasri, hasn’t improved the team one iota, unless you are preparde to wait another 3 or 4 years.

Manure had Ronaldo for the entire season; we’ve just lost our Captain for virtually the rest of this. If Arsenal go 6 points behind Villa, it will be…………… ๐Ÿ˜‰

Aaaaaaahhhh Kelsey. I look @ your avatar & think of that well organised defence. Winterburn, O’Leary, Adams & Dixon. They don’t make’m like that anymore. sigh ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sure – understand. My point really was about the leaders dropping points. Whether we can capitalize on that is a totally different discussion.

My 8 year old plays in his school’s first team in the midfield, sometime in the attack. Sometimes, the coach will ask him to play a second game for the second string team. He always asks my son to play at the centre of defense. I asked him why he plays my son in defense when his defensive skills are obviously pretty bad. The coach said he wants the best player at the back of the team to make sure they don’t concede.

The school coach understands that success comes from not conceding. Does AW understand that?

This team has been in decline for a couple of years now. It stands to reason that if you have a great team and sell your best players each season and replace them with average players you’re gonna end up with an average (brittle) team.

It just shows how far we’ve fallen that some arsenal fans are content with a draw aginst villa.

Wenger has got a month to sort it out for me. I’m utterly sick to death of him.
