News could be described as thin on the ground this morning, so I’ll go over some of yesterday’s stuff. First up, Kieran Richardson being linked to the club didn’t exactly fill me with joy. The left winger is English, which gives the story the at least a tiny bit of credence. I’m not sure why we’d be interested in his wing ability. His stats are pretty dismal, 2 assists and 4 goals is about as good as it gets for the ex-United wide man.
It was suggested in the comments yesterday that he could be seen as one of Arsene’s positional projects. Possibly, he could be converted into a full back for a period of time. He certainly has the pace to manage that transition and he’s played there for both United and Sunderland. He’d also fit into the quota system…
What other choice do we have right now? What is our scouting network up to? Has Giles Grimantube got a plan up his sleeve… does he know about the British market or does he have a darstardly plan?

Saad Al-Mukhani is one of those two...
Arsenal are apparently so desperate for a left back we’re looking at a player called Saad Al-Mukhaini from Oman’s second division. I wouldn’t normally print a rumour so absurd, but it comes from The Times. Honestly, wouldn’t we be better off signing someone from the Championship? Surely signing a player from a League not even the greatest football nerd could call a team from is a taking things too far…
F*ck it… I’ll play. I can take a sabbatical, I’m sure work wouldn’t miss me.
I watched part of the City vs Liverpool game. Pepe Reina dropped a clanger, which made me feel better about what Szczesny did the other night. Liverpool were absolute dross. Considering their hefty outlay in the summer, which was questionable bar the ambition, Kenny has overseen a total flop so far. City played out a 3-0 win in typically dull fashion.
Wenger came out with yet another defence of Andrey Arshavin saying that he knew he had quality.
“I knew he would suffer a bit physically, but Andrey has that quality that at any moment in the game he can give you a ball to score, and that’s what he did. We know he can be sharper than he was on Saturday but that is linked to the fact I do not play him enough.”
I’m not sure Arshavin pottering round the field like he’s trying to remember his shopping is linked to a lack of playing time. I think it’s more down to a lack of motivation. Wenger continually sticking up for players who can’t be assed seems counter productive. I’m not sure playing a younger hungrier winger would do the trick, I still think Andrey would be non-plussed about it. He is a wasted talent. For me, he could have been Bergkamp-esque for us such was his magic. Sadly, he’ll go on the wasted pile. I’m sure some will remember him fondly, most won’t… that’s a shame. A player with a personal website as craptastically amazing as his one deserves higher status.
A player I think we’ll one day remember as a thoroughly good egg is Coquelin. The diminutive midfielder certainly has that fighting spirit we adore. He also has some pretty fancy tricks and flicks I wasn’t aware of until he showcased them against Fulham. Once he bulks up and gets a few games under his belt, he’ll be a hell of a player. My only worry for him is that due to his versatility, he might not find a steady role in the team for a few years. That was a fate Flamini suffered, it nearly drove him out the club, then when he found his role, he was so miffed, he didn’t sign on (part of the reason, the other being Wenger trying to shift him off to hell).
Update: He’s signed up to a new deal according to L’Equipe.
In transfer news, Podolski is apparently stalling on a new deal. That could be good news for us if we were to move for him in January. That scenario doubtful as the German will rightfully want to continue his stunning form for his club until the Euro’s. The worry is that he’ll continue to play well, then have a good Euro’s, then be priced out of our range.
Volcheck Chesney had his say on the Fulham game…
“There was probably some tired legs but I think probably we should have kept the concentration and kept the focus and we would have been fine,”
“I would imagine it was a very childish performance in the end from us. I thought for 85 minutes we defended really well with 11 men and they never looked like scoring.”
Just to clear a few things up here.
1) Sure the legs were tired, but that’s no excuse. We’ve played 31 competitive games this year, Fulham have played 35.
2) Fulham were causing us bother from start to finish. Especially in the second half. As the keeper who had to make multiple good saves from their forward movements, you should know this.
3) You are right, it was childish to throw away a 2 goal lead against Fulham with 5 minutes to play.
Thierry Henry won’t be available to play for the reserves. Apparently his paper work has been held up. I’m not sure if he’ll be available for the Leeds game on Monday. If I were Arsenal, I think I’d make that announcement pretty sharpish. That could be the difference between a capacity crowd and a White Hart Lane type turn out.
Finally… Joey Barton gave us all a laugh when he suggested legal action was a good idea if a player play acts to fool a referee into a sending off.
Pretty amusing considering he’s been known to indulge in the dark art himself… just ask Gervinho. Being the leader of a campaign to make the game fairer only when you’ve been wronged yourself is pretty weak if I’m honest. Perhaps he should take his ideas further than 140 characters if he wants to be taken more seriously than the laughable Wikipedia supported pseudo-intellectual character he’s created for himself.
That’s all I have for you. Have a great day.

What a fucking cheap club we are turning in to, what do you expect from a French manager and Yankee owner ,these sort of people always have deep pocket when it come to spending.
Wenger is comfortable, there is no pressure and that is expressed in his teams. Fact is we can still win more than we lose and challenge for that 4th spot. Whilst we are getting 60k per week attendences things won’t change that much.
I think if Wenger changed his plan he would have Arsenal challenging again in no time. But that means he has to go against what he has been trying to achieve in the last 5 years and I just don’t see him doing that. He is stubborn.
After watching Madrid this season I would go all out for Mourinho. Top coach with an unrivaled desire for victory.
Fuck Richardson!
Clear out the shit and buy some quality that will last!
Baines/Vertonghen
A decent ACM
Podolski
Just pay the right prices…No more being tight!!
…………..Szczesny………………………
Sagna–Mert–Vermy–Baines
……..Arteta–Wilshere
………….New ACM…………………
….Podolski–RVP–Gervinho
Not very hard is it? If Wenger just went out and spent a little we may compete!
That team…With a decent Bench of:
Fabianski, Jenkinson, Bartley, Santos, Song, Ramsey, Walcott, Ox, Arshavin,Chamakh, Jenkinson etc
Joppa, that is why im starting to believe my 18:36 post..
There’s no way somebody goes from attracting the best players in the world, playing some of the best football the game has seen to what he is now….
Which a a joke amongst he’s own fans…
Lurch- sure you do……cheers
Joppa Road- Sure you wouldn’t mind Richardson. But if the same guy was called Yakula Mkalamba from Nigeria…..
bdw I wouldn’t mind him either if its just a loan
Nite peeps
Ricky, I think it’s as simple as we had to change our approach as we made the massive step to the new stadium and all that entailed. We were not sure if are now massively in debt so something had to give.
Wenger then realised that he could still keep us competitive (should of won league in 07/08) relatively cheaply (although still have high wage bill). The board must of been exstatic about this. Wenger is clever enough and good enough to not have to spend and keep us top 4 – you can’t argue with that as he has done it. Trouble is now Wenger’s ambition doesn’t seem to match ours or what the fans want.
I honestly think the man is stubborn and wont budge. He will go on for as long as he likes until he decideds to step down.
Goon from BD. I make no apology or try to hide the fact I want Arsenal to have more English players in the team. We should be bringing English talent through and only splashing out on the best from around the rest of the world, not dross like Denilson, Squid, etc etc etc.
Joppa
or henry, petit, overmars, bergkamp, viera, lunberg, overmars etc etc etc etc
Yes Jack…top top talent. Who has a problem with that? Not me.
The Omani player from the second division sounds very much like Wenger.
It’s interesting to note that Grimandi attends more Ligue 2, National and CFA matches than he does Ligue 1.
I think it’s in line with Arsenal’s transfer policy, uncover unnoticed gems who have a scope for development, at very little cost if any – which will allow to maximise profit.
As you can see, there are clubs willing to pay 10m for Chamakh and Diaby – even if you introduce an average player into Arsenal, going by reputation of Wenger and club alone, it’s very possible to make a handsome good profit one or two seasons down the track.
Joppa
the EPL would be like the dutch league without the foreign players.
Joppa- Its cool. I ain’t English and my English is shite but still I like the idea of “English Arsenal”. but there should be no place for crap players wether he is English or Chinese………Theo is shit
*foreign
My own belief / view is that all clubs around Europe should be loyal to their countries home players. I dont just say it about Arsenal in England.
I like to use the example of Inter who when playing in their last Champions League Final did not have one Italian player starting. I don’t like that. The club should represent their country.
Fully accept most people disagree with me on this but it is still my view.
Goon – English dross should be outed too. But Wenger has all too often outed English players and played say Denilson etc.
When was the last time Arsenal produced a top English centre forward?
I’m also looking at the bigger picture with what the FA are trying to do in getting English kids playing better football. I am hopeful in say 20 years time this will start to bear/bare fruit.
I am certainly not against top top foreign talent (at any age group) coming to Arsenal from any part of the world. But not more average dross please.
to clarify the squad numbers registered.
I thought it worth I spend some time on this.
I can’t find an official final squad list submitted so if you have one, I’ll be happy to use it.
Here below the official list of our official 22 man squad list published for Barnet (friendly)
Manuel Almunia, Andrey Arshavin, Mikel Arteta, Yossi Benayoun, Marouane Chamakh, Abou Diaby, Lukasz Fabianski, Gervinho, Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker, Chu-Young Park, Tomas Rosicky, Bacary Sagna, Andre Santos, Sebastien Squillaci, Robin Van Persie, Thomas Vermaelen, Theo Walcott (HG >20 on 01/01/2011), Kieran Gibbs (HG >20 on 01/01/2011), Johan Djourou (HG >21), Alex Song (HG>21), Vito Mannone (HG now sent on loan).
One thing the HG in that list know, it’s that they can’t be de-listed -> unless they are replaced by nation grown players that are better.
‘Funnily’ in the first submitted squad, no Szcz (HG =20 on 01/01/2011), no Ramsey (HG =20 on 01/01/2011).
it was 22 players, not 25, and there weren’t 8 HG in that list. (Wilshere is HG <20 but was injured).
(that was provisional as the final list didnt have to be submited yet, was just a friendly).
Oxlade-Chamberlain and Coquelin will only be HG next summer, Frimpong (HG <20) was sent on loan, Miquel appeared once in Europe.
Jenkinson was trained in nation, and can count towards the quota too).
There has to be 8 HG registered, players under 20 on 01/01/2011 don't have to be registered but can count towards the HG quota (if they've spent 3 years training in nation).
Mannone off, Frimpong off, in any case, that would mean our 8 HG left would be something like:
Walcott, Gibbs, Djourou, Song, Szczesny, Ramsey, Miquel, Jenkinson.
now considering the Barnet list was 22, had only 5 HG, Wenger added 3 youth for quota, that makes our 25.
Mannone moving means another youth will take his place, or we can buy a quality nation grown player.
Now we are adding Henry to that list and he can't count towards the HG quota, so we have ONE player either to send on loan, delist or sell, out of:
Manuel Almunia, Andrey Arshavin, Mikel Arteta, Yossi Benayoun, Marouane Chamakh, Abou Diaby, Lukasz Fabianski, Gervinho, Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker, Chu-Young Park, Tomas Rosicky, Bacary Sagna, Andre Santos, Sebastien Squillaci, Robin Van Persie, Thomas Vermaelen.
QUESTION: who would you send on loan/delist/sell?
Personally, Almunia would be straight out of the door, even if that means buying the end of his contract.
Now Arsene, do us all a favour, just get rid of all the following, that will make some space:
Almunia, Chamakh, Squillaci, Arshavin, Rosicky
and bring 2/5 english/nation growns of pure quality (cf Jones), that will save you further hassle, and 3/5 of top top quality, that will save our season.
Joppa
how can you say that? The premiership would be very sub-standard if you got your way.
And have no money either. Its because of the foreign influence that the big TV money comes in.
Joppa- very nice thoughts you have but tell me how many top English centre forwards are there ? I can think of Rooney only currently. We have the best English midfielder and being a Gooner I feel proud saying that regardless of my nationality. I don’t know about Wenger but he paid top price for one of the best English talents in Chamberlain. The thing is thoug talent and commitment is what should count first rather than nationality.
Have a good day.
wow! Kieran Richardson- boring!
I pray ‘le boss’ makes a top signing, hes really starting to piss me off now,. a 20m player like podolski won’t bankrupt us but will make 90% of the fans ALOT happier.. does he enjoy tormenting us or something.,. Buying at least 1 proven top player cant poss be any more of a waste of money than say rosicky has been for the last 4 years,. why can’t he just cut loose a player that doesn’t offer anything to this team.. none of the top 5 managers would still employ some of these playing after they offer so little..
Rosickys, chamack are just shit and if both of them are still here after he has clearly lost faith in them and won’t play them even when the team is crying out for rotation come the end ofthe window something seriously stinks,
at least 2 of asharvin rosicky chamack should be moved on this window to makeway for somebody who actually offers something going forward
PODOLSKI!!!
I’d have koz, or verm over Cahill all day long
knowing Wenger will keep 3 keepers, so he won’t sell Almunia just yet if he sent Mannone on loan, will be more likely be Arshavin, Chamakh or Rosicky, with Squillaci needed atm for cover.
(1 thing we are not limited to buy though for EPL, it’s under 20 players, Reus would have fit nicely there, so would Goetze or Hazard if Im not wrong on their age, Reus to Dortmund, I’d have to think it’s because they are selling Goetze, I can dream he would come here, but I’m more enclined to believe he already arranged his move to Real, this would let Hazard available for us…)
That is my point – England should be able to produce top players in every position. At present we have perhaps one world talent in Rooney, maybe Gerrard, Cole? Players who would be comfortable in any team. That is not good enough for a league that has the most money, wealth and best facilities. Somebody should be taking a look at what is going on with the English players coming through.
I know the FA has put things in place but what exactly are EPL clubs doing?
The EPL isn’t any better because of the likes of average foreign talent. The EPL is great because of the commitment and passion we are well known for. Don’t ever think it isnt. Oh and our hiotory.
“When was the last time Arsenal produced a top English centre forward?”
When was the last time England produced a top English centre forward?
(we could also bring back HG players from loan, isn’t there any of them worth considering? Vela? Lansbury?)
(to clarify: not saying it hasn’t been done. but it’s a shallow pool)
Defoe maybe? (yeah Im yellow carding myself too)
Dan: Shearer?
Dan – exactly my point the EPL clubs should be doing more. Are you honestly telling me that the EPL top clubs could not produce an English Bendtner or Denilson? Who went on to play hundreds of games for the club. I have a real problem with this.
Thats the minimum we should expect.
Owen, Fowler & Rooney are top English centre forwards. Going back we had Lineker and Shearer.
shearer
Oh and lets not forget my fav Arsenal player ever – Ian Wright Wright Wright.
No, but I’m telling you it’s not that simple. How can you blame foreign players for the quality of English players? Are you accusing English clubs of not trying hard enough to develop English players?
Wrighty of course..
yes Dan I am. You cannot blame the foreign players for coming in and making a good living. I just have a problem that so many can be considered so much better than English youngsters coming through. Denilson being a great example – what exactly did he bring.
EPL clubs should be bringing far more English players through. Why aren’t they?
Foreign players come cheaper joppa. English talent too expensive
Actually Denilson was on course to be a good central mid. He was a solid distributor with a knack for long-range shooting, but sadly he totally crapped out. Also he was lazy. That’s what did him in I think. He got caught out of position or not getting back one too many times, eventually lost confidence, and completely sank.
However, remember that Denilson got a chance from the same manager who brought in/developed Ashley Cole, Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, etc.
With the homegrown rule (which presumably you’re adamantly in favor of), English players are actually overvalued now, because you’re forced to have them. You can’t be mad at clubs for getting cheaper, foreign talent that’s just as good. It’s a business.
Not mad no, I just expect all clubs around Europe to develop their own talent and then use the best talent from around the world to enhance this. Far too many average players in the EPL and it now shows.
Dan, Joppa, I actually posted that yesterday, still relevant ^^
http://www.farpostreport.com/content/view/1336/
its a very tricky conversation your having regarding homegrown players.
I can see where Joppa’s coming from, there is a disconnect somewhere between the support base and the players and I think there’s a degree of feeling that a protected labour industry would bring back some connection and raise the quality of local talent.
The problem with any regulation imposed on the industry is it doesn’t necessarily trickle down to community level.
At the moment there’s not enough money flowing from the private sector to the public sector to provide sporting facilities for the wider public at grass roots levels and this is the same across the board for Football, Tennis, Cricket, Atheletics etc…. There aren’t enough coaches in state schools or facilities or even the basic time allocated to recreational pursuits – kids here are streamlined to vocational studies from an increasing early age and away from sport and this impacts on the UK’s ability to compete.
So I don’t see how restrictions on foreign labour quotas are really going to activate investment at the state education level. It’ll take a generation or two for demand to generate supply.
I can only make comparison from growing up in Australia – where the governments investment in sport is ridiculous (OK its cheaper and easier with year round climate conducive to outdoor recreation) – to what I’ve experienced raising my young son in London.
This is an interesting topic .The best solution would be to follow the Bundesliga model. Its the most progressive.
Does Rooney count as a CF.
He doesn’t score as much as he should though, but a quality player none the less.
Lurch,Zeus- Do you guys think the Bundesliga model would work in England?
No coincidence that we have struggled since big Davey Dein left….
#justsaying
BD,
don’t know enough about the German model, I understand they aren’t allowed anywhere near our debt levels so are nearer to FFP than we are but beyond that I don’t know.
What I generally understand from having a German as an ex, is that they have a slightly more progressive attitude towards sport, recreation and health than we do over here but thats largely due to a more socialist society since the war, but beyond that I couldn’t say.
no da gay? shocking.
Goon
I always refer to this article when questions like those come up.
http://pitchinvasion.net/blog/2010/03/11/fan-ownership-the-bundesliga-model/
@ivory Thanks for the link, interesting article. I think it’s spot on about the attitude: England places way too much importance on “toughness” and “strength”. Trevor Brooking reckons it’s screwed up the development of talent, and he’s probably right. Unfortunately you’re going to have a hard time getting EPL clubs to change that, because they are businesses, and their fans only demand end product. (I guess that leaves it up to the FA…)
Also, reminds me of a book called Soccernomics. The authors argue that England (at the national level) actually overperforms relative to other nations. Can’t remember it fully but basically they analyzed data on population sizes, socioeconomic statuses, amount of previous team experience, etc. and looked at the correlations with international success.
Self sustainable model
Greetings grovers! Having spent the last week in Roma I have finally accepted that in England we are shit with food
. I went into the italian equivalent of co-op, and the selection of meats , cheeses and vegetables were comparable if not better than the poshest of london deli’s!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been sooooo out of the arsenal loop it is not true!!! What has been going on lads??? although I am too in love to care as much as normal, I almost cried when i saw the fulham result, so much so that I had to pretend to my italian girlfriend that i had been moved to distraction by a Botticelli I had been looking at on the internet!
Thierry is coming back?? god, what is going ooooooooooooooooon, hope everyone is well and happy, and that Santa was good to all,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow. Ba!
Ba humbug!!!
Demba you beauty!!!
Okay this Ba fella is looking really good
Baaaaaa
Holy shit, what a goal. Dammmm
How did Wenger not sign him? He was FREE for fuck sake. It would have been the typical Wenger signing.
He must now be a 20 Million pound + player
DEMBA BAng it in!!!!
BD,
Its not enough to look at the model that the industry adhere’s to, to really understand how it effects the local labour market you’ve got to understand how its integrated into their social policies.
If the German government imposes labour regulations on the industry they have to subsidise the labour market in some other ways to keep the clubs viable economically.
But yeah I think Germany will be the next footballing powerhouse after this generation of Spaniards age….
They are my tip for the Euro’s.
Demba what a fucking goal U should have got this guy instead of fucking Park and fucking chamakh.
Lurch
Do you see a German team winning the Uefa Cl in the next five years? eg. Bayern stockpiling talent and competing with
Barca, ManUtd, Real
Blimey is Lurch some kind of oracle these days lol
Lurch do you see me winning the lottery this weekend?
@Dream10
Sorry to jump in on a question for you Lurch, but, is that not exactly what they’ve been doing? Weren’t they 2nd place in CL a year or two ago??
Dream10: just wait for Dortmund raising and Bayern falling…
I don’t see why BM or BVB couldn’t win it Dream10, hard to say long term though it’ll largely comes down to FFP and the disposable income of the clubs support base.
If TV licensing regs change in Spain and the German supporter becomes wealthier and can sustain higher wages with more expensive season tix and the rest then yeah why not?
Lurch
do you think Wenger will leave if were not in top 4? and do you think ASDA is cheaper than TESCOS,?
32, 20,35,8,3. 7,1.
ASDA is cheaper than Tescos.
thanks to Stan Kroenke.
AW won’t leave, he’ll die at the club.
Thanks
….er rather than later
haha
If Black Messi comes good then Lurch is demi God.
BVB were very disappointing in the CL this year. They will lose Mats Hummels in the summer who is a top class CB. Also, I dont see the hype about Mario Gotze. I have never seen this type of hype about a player since Ronaldo of Brazil who is one of the all time greats.
Demba Ba is on a three year contract. 15-20 million in the summer will do. But this is Arsenal.
That makes me God since I said we should sign Demba Ba after West Ham got relegated
really missing on Cabaye
what a goal
what a goal!!! fuck!!
Freekick!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Radio Yeah same! He had looked so good on West Ham’s shit squad, it would’ve been easy to pick him up…
I concur Radio, I wanted Ba last year as well, although nowhere near as vocally as I’ve been for Hoilett this season.
As for Goetze, I think Gambon’s a pretty good judge of a player so I’m content that he’s quality – although I’m glad we dodged the Lukaku bullet. My only hesitation with Goetze is the amount of dosh required and time he’d take to acclimatise and start returning on that investment.
Jeez, Cabaye – how did we miss on him Giles!?
gambon must be crying…staring two back to back defeats??
Anyone get the feeling Demba Ba is a bit Alberto Gilardino.
As in, fits better as a big fish is small pond, but the second he goes to a big team he can’t handle it.
*Lukaku
how ironic it would be if Newcastle won the league …
Zeus – Poduliski may have that big fish small pond attribute too.
Arsene would not pay 30 million for Messi himself so it aint happening for Gotze
The goal was De Gea’s fault, he failed to follow the flight of the ball… basics. Szczesny would have saved it.
Fergie can add De Gea to Barthez, Taibi, etc.
Demba Ba is the real deal. He seems to be a player that can cope at a higher level. Top class
Pierre: De Gea? Did I miss something?
Zeus,
does Demi God status come with benefits?
I don’t want to have to refer to you as Father either.
I mean Lindegaard, too used to discussing De Gea’s errors.
Lindegaard, De Gea, Barthez, Taibi, etc. All the same crap
Almunia, Fabianski, Mannone…
Webb is really not playing well today
webb is going to have to do some magic in order to fix a result.
Cedar
True. And we actually have evidence of that from Bayern.
in other gk news: tim howard just scores for toffs.
I’ve been paying more attention to Hoilett since he hired you as his PR guy Lurch lol…but, seriously, he’s the kind of youngster we should be signing – an older, stronger Chamberlain with some premier lge experience.
Missing out on Cabaye was just simply weird…he’s good, French and cheap. Giles should get some of his wages ducked for that
True Dan, I was surprised non of the big teams went for him either even after proving Pulis’ fear of his ‘bad’ knee was somewhat exaggerated.
United losing? haha! Superb!
@SUGA3
Which one of those cost £20m?
The three of them cost close to nothing.
18′ GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLL FOR BARCELONA!!! Ohhh my what a goal from Cesc Fabregas!!! Xavi gives the ball to the feet of his teammate inside the box and Cesc gloriously dinks the ball over Riesgo! Incredible.
If Demba Ba’s interviews are anything to by then I think his got the temperament to play in a big team )
Demba Ba ——–> Robin Van Persie
Barceloa winning 2- 0 SCABregas (2)
@ Radio: Jack Wilshere has confirmed our sentiments, tweeting: “Demba Ba best signing of the season #fact”
(Poor Arteta, Per, Ox, etc…)
*Barcelona
euh… some should maybe support other teams instead?
Don’t forget the commercial benefits a Canadian brings Radio.
I mean, that’s surely interesting, but seeing Man U fall again and we didn’t even profit of the occasion, that bitter taste doesn’t seem to want to leave
Whats all this about us looking at Arjen “The Worlds Biggest Diver” Robben .. No way stay clear of this ex chav please … Quality on his day but goes missing to often .. we have enough of those players..
http://www.caughtoffside.com/2012/01/04/arsenal-consider-audacious-move-to-sign-22m-bayern-munich-winger/
Lol Dan, I think Jackie boy will be summoned to the headmaster’s office for that tweet
who is this cesc person of whm you speak? i know incesc posts on this blog, but cesc…escapes my knowledge.
JW for manager.
Id have Robben anyday.. come on
nufc bid for vertonghen has been rejected. in response to that rejection, nufc say they were just kidding and withdraw their bid.
I planned on getting some fantasy points of Howard’s saves and maybe a clean sheet with 2 games this round, not his amazing goal scoring prowess.
Cahill Goal
Roben does have hair replacement advertising commercial appeal.
robben would fit in with the rest of our team; he loves his time in the physio room.
something, I’m sure, Gazidis will find financially as well as folically stimulating
As they say, two injury-prone Dutchmen are better than one!
Wenger Out!
Slavan Bilic In!
Slavan Bitch? WTF!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slaven_Bili%C4%87
The National Team coach rankings has long recognised Bilić as the second best national team manager in the world, behind Dunga of Brazil.
MUAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
hahahahahahahah OGGGGGG
great for the GD stats…
Torres, £50m
Demba Ba, Free + agent fee
Jones own goal. 3-0 Newcastle.
Priceless.
Fuck dying and get 22 virgins in heaven…Demba can get 220 Geordie lasses tonight if wants them
Watching fucking United make signings this month. Fucking guys.
Pardew in!
looool @ Radio Raheem absolutely mint
wouldnt really mind robben
he could play 10 games a season and get more goals than walcott and gervinho combined
What a diver this Nani
Pardew’s worse than Wenger, he wont’s smile til the last whistle
*he won’t smile even
no excuses but fulham result not as bad now.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Pardew knows
IG
I think he would be really good for us and would instil that steely edge to our performances that we’ve been missing since the days of Adams, Bould and Keown. Plus he likes to play a good style. Just a thought, Wenger fukkin depresses me!
I just hope Szczesny has used up all his ‘flap’ allocation for the season
indeed
PKB
And now advantage back to City suddenly but who cares.
Fergie won’t be soft on them for sure, is it worth them extending Berbatov’s contract when he only turns up at home?
No doesn’t even make up for the result on Monday.
he obviously knows Best, he plays for him
Robben – forget about it.
Wenger won’t be signing any players above 15m. The only reason Caughtoffside generate these rumours is to draw interest from desperate Gooners.
Just like the links with Hazard, Goetze, all highly laughable.
Wenger will remain true to his beliefs till he leaves Arsenal, those beliefs are that he can succeed without spending, which will highlight the difference between him and other managers. He’s pigeon holed himself in regards to this already and won’t change.
Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard scored an incredible goal but Bolton fought back as captain Gary Cahill sealed victory in what could be his last game. Howard scored from inside his area as the ball bounced 30 yards from Bolton’s goal and, with the help of the wind, flew over away keeper Adam Bogdan….
Really how shit are these teams
Lurch – it’s even worse we could’ve made ground on United and are falling behind those cunts down the road.
To Howards goal just read this on twitter-
I know Everton are lacking striking options, but that takes the piss slightly
Don’t know why but had me in stitches hahahaha
From Sky Sports News
90 + 1 Ferguson looks furious. He is sat in his dugout, shrunk into his coat and with arms folded.
Pardew is better than wenger.
Wenger decided Park was better than Ba, and Diaby better than Cabaye.
Wenger has let’s face it completely lost it.
Demba ba, Cabaye, Ruiz and Dembele would be good signings, the latter 3 didn’t even cost that much.
”Anyone get the feeling Demba Ba is a bit Alberto Gilardino.
As in, fits better as a big fish is small pond, but the second he goes to a big team he can’t handle it.”
How do you know ? He hasnt played for a big club yet. His stats have been incredible wherever he has been.
