Arteta was not a panic buy. I actually think none of our last minute buys was because they are all the type of players we needed and the fans wanted. But we had to wait to the last momement for different reasons.
1) Qualify for CL
2) Competitors hijacking our deals
3) Dont pay doble/tripple prices
RVP.will do the sensible thing and wait to see the players wenger buys and also to negotiate a squillacci type deal for more than 1 year.
I suspect that wenger wont buy quality either in january or the summer so for me RVP will be gone. Just like nasri and cesc, he will look around and think ….: we havent a team to challenge for silverware. if RVP goes then the potential exodus wenger admitted to this season will re-appear.
