It’s Monday morning and I feel good, Mr Wenger this is what Arsenal fans deserve.

by & filed under Uncategorized.

Ok we won and we won handsomely, in style and beat the chavs with all their money by their biggest ever Premier League home defeat, justice!

I am I happy? You bet, am I satisfied? Not a chance, but after a win at Stamford Bridge, you’ll hear nothing negative from me, why? Because I am an Arsenal fan first, and seeing my team do that, whatever the politics makes my week, and now I go to work happy, and that is what I expect given the vast amount we as fans pay and what the management and playing staff earn.

Anyway I have to be happy with the summer, so why is that you may ask? All that complaining?

Ok forget how we got there, let’s go straight to the finish line first, we got rid of Eboue, Almunia, Clichy, Denilson and Bendtner, a combination of which we all wanted.

Cesc went and to be honest he was a crock for his last three seasons, a crap captain and since he’s been in the team we have won nothing, same with Nasri. So really, who cares? All I care about is spending the money on world class replacements.

And watching Kolo, Clichy and Nasri bench warm makes me almost as happy as seeing Ade screw up his career, the player that no one wants, ha, ha!

Enter Robin, uninjured he’s the best forward in world football, and a proper captain in the Vieira/Adams mould, what he did at the end of Saturdays game wasn’t about us winning, it was a thank you to the long suffering fans, I saw that, well done Robin, you are a top bloke!

Ok our defence is still all over the place but we still have Sagna to come back, Vermaelen is already back and Kozzer is starting to justify his cost at last. Mertesacker I like, he is the glue we have needed and he will start to get goals, of that I have no doubt. Don’t forget we were calling for him during the last World Cup.

Jack Wilshere really will be like a new signing when he returns and Ramsey is at last starting to fill Fabregas’s boots. If Ryo and Park kick on then we are starting to look like we can do some damage at last. And don’t forget OXO, our all new impact secret weapon!

I won’t name the duds, it’s not negative Monday, but a few top signings in the window could see us in the hunt for the first time in years.

I also know I have said that for years, it’s still true now so I hope he finally acts.

I would still bring in Cahill, Goetze will also do and Hazard, we will be screwed when Robin gets injured but Theo, saviour of England finally had the game that justifies his standing, and let no one ever say I didn’t believe in him because I always have. We still need another goalscorer though.

So all in all I am finally half-way happy and looking forward to seeing us qualify tomorrow, no flaky team Wenger, that’s what got us Barca last time. Let’s put out a strong side and win the group.

Have a great day today Grovers, tomorrow is the dessert to Saturdays main course!

nah we have had quite a few worse than him. most notably centre backs!!!!! stepanovs sticks out furthest.

I liked eboues love for arsenal though and thats why im hoping jenks comes good. He is english and loves arsenal. he will go out and give his all like any of us would do if we had the chance

  2. roaaary

geordies somehow going to win this as well. fair play to pardew i thought he would lose his job this year. made a few big signings and got rid of barton. big call but cabaye looks a step above

  3. tipitapi

just read the post and agree with you arsene no flaky team tomorrow by wenger get the fucking job done time, the fact he claims tomorrow will be difficult that not stopped him in the past with arrogant selection he cost us a lot of money season

  4. gambon

Lol Incesc, probably a proper fat slosher.

Still, her use of the word ‘oesophagus’ in the middle of a weird rant is amusing.

Probably the southampton cunts sister, mum & wife rolled into one.

    kwik-

nufc has played no one, including arsenal game 1. november they have mufc and mcfc back to back. those matches will be the test.

  6. roaaary

stoke have found out what happens when you get in the top half of the table. teams become more defensive and long ball doesnt work as well. teams counter you and you need a top top striker.

it pains me to see them struggle…….nooooooot

  7. frenchie

    gambon-

cabaye was a steal. clearly losc sold to them on the cheap just to fuck with arsene.

i still think their november will see them come back to earth.

  8. roaaary

hopefully frenchie. couldnt bare finishing below a team who play ameobi and best upfront. not a strong enough strikeforce to finish top 4/5

  9. kwik fit

Agreed frenchie its the spuds we must catch. The first half yesterday they were on fire. Modric and VDV are the two that make them tick.
Surely those two can’t stay fit all season.

    roaaary-

compare our november to their november. i think the odds are in favor of arsenal making up some points.

  11. roaaary

yeah definately you just know we dont do things easily. end of the season i cant see us finishing below them even if we finish 6th.

I am really worried bout spurs. they remind me of us pre invincibles. quick counter attacking footy. goal scoring wingers/midfielders. good speedy passing. i hate to admit it but their football is up there with the best in the league right now.

Think he’s talking about the way some of United’s Revenue isb eing used to pay off the debt the Glaziers incurred in buying Manchester United.

He’s saying in America people don’t care as much and you wouldn’t get dialogue in which it was questioned.

  13. Keyser

Also Kwik Fit was wondering which one was Santos in the pic you linked to, I think he’s the blonde one with the breats myself.

He seems to have shed a few pounds already and in a few weeks those moobs will have gone completely. Must’ve really let himself go over the sumnmer.

  14. passionandpride

V V unfair to call Cesc a crook. He was the best footballer to have played for Arsenal after Henry. Remember 2008. Cesc was doing almost everything for us except the goalkeeping.

Blame Wenger squarely for not getting him enough support to make him win for us!!!

  15. Phil

Watched reply and you can see Cole mouthing off at our supporters after their second goal.
What did you say after Theo went through you, you mug

  16. Hussain

How could they not include Eboue and Heskey on the D’or list? LOL at pool supporters thinking Suarez is bigger than RVP because he is on that list and has equal chances of winning it as Messi. Fuck off you scum, he is only there because him and Forlan took Uruguay to the Semi Finals at the WC last year and he had a brilliant year with Ajax.

On a serious note, why aren’t RVP, Gomez, Silva and Cavani not on that list? surely they had better 2010 than Puyol, Abidal, Nani or Rooney?

  17. Hussain

Oh and this one is just to piss Gambon off

Unfortunately Coyle, Moyes, O’neill and Pardew aren’t on the list for the Coach of the year gambon but guess who is? WENGER! LOL

Also, Koscielny has made it into most teams of the week by different websites despite conceding 3, surely the whole footballing world knows nothing but only you do!

  18. IvoryGoonz

    Morning Grovers!
Come on Reds, it’s gonna be a tough battle but we can do it…
Descamps reverted back to 4-4-2, that’s how he managed to win the last few games…
They’ve got the players for it, with the possibility they’ll start with 2DMs.
There’s much more movement, more occasions, we’ll have to be alert, especially with Gignac and Remy getting back to fitness…
    Come on Reds!!!!
