United Keeper key to win tomorrow | #Muppet | Madrid Midfielder anyone?

Gartside laughing at his retweet

You bubble along as a commentator on football, thinking that everyone in the game is as professional as they would be in the real world. Then bang, the Chairman of a top Premier League football club retweets the word #Bellend in retaliation to a low bid from Arsenal.

Firstly, what a ridiculously immature thing to do for someone in a position of power, I know that Bolton Wanderers fans aren’t exactly the most articulate bunch, but surely amongst the 15 or so Bolton fans on Twitter, there was something more intelligent to retweet than that? Secondly, it’s just a bid. My first bid on eBay is often a low one. If I can get my girlfriend second-hand lingerie for under a fiver, I’m laughing…

Positives I’m taking from this are that we’re in for Cahill, eventually, in the end… I’m also quite pleased that we appear to be the only club in for him. I know everybody jumped to Wenger’s defence yesterday when he said the bid wasn’t £6million, but believing a man who denied a quote he was on record as saying is a tough ask.  What we need to be careful of is alerting the world to the fact that we’re trying to land a top defender for under £10million. If someone else comes in and bids, we could find ourselves locked out.

Sol Campbell…

If you only read one thing today, make sure it’s Le Grove, if you’re going to read one other article, I beg of you to read the Guardian interview with Sol Campbell. He gives a super account of what’s missing at the club and he also lifts the lid on how the Invincibles used to work together.

‘Arsenal definitely need a few players to come in and shake things up; guys who are really passionate about winning and won’t accept failure. The fans want that too, they can see that Arsenal are close to being the best club in the world, they’ve got everything there, it just needs people to ruffle some feathers.’

Absolutely bang on the money. The culture in the club has definitely shifted since the old days.Because most of the players have only known one type of management, there aren’t the different approaches or opinions on what makes a good dressing room. Throughout the successful times with Wenger, you had elements of George Graham teams in there, you had players who’d had careers elsewhere. You had people who’d tear it up after the game to get to the bottom of a defeat.

From what I understand, the players at Arsenal don’t share the same urgency or disappointment after disappointment. You don’t get the team meetings where the players rip it out of each other. Win or lose, it’s the same attitude in the dressing room. That has to change. I’m hoping that Robin can bring a bit more passion to the captaincy. I’m hoping players like Frimpong and Jack have the personalities that dont’ tolerate weak performances or lack lustre effort on the pitch.

We have a very good squad core right now… what it lacks is the depth around it. Wenger is talking about signing up 3 players. he wants a striker, a midfielder and a defender. If those players are top quality, then it’ll certainly make a difference. It still ignores the fact that the squad was short last year and by the time the window closes, we will have sold 9 players who were important to team in some way last season. I think we need a left back, Traore doesn’t have the mental strength to cut it at the top-level and Gibbs is inadequate from a fitness point of view.

I’m excited about the prospect of a top striker coming in. Joel Campbell still doesn’t have a work permit from what I understand and even if he did, banking on a player who didn’t make more than 7 appearances for a crap Costa Rican team would be pretty dim, even if he does have shades of Anelka about him.

If anyone knows of a Tevez type striker out there… do let me know.

Other news…

Interesting to see that Spurs signed Adebayor. Just when you thought the Togan couldn’t stoop any lower eh? Disgust aside, he’s a good player. If you can get his head straight, he’s the perfect battering ram. I think that’s a good signing for them. A player I think we should be looking at if he’s available is Lassana Diarra. He was shipped out because he wanted games a few years ago. We know he’s talented, we know he’s experienced in the league and we know he’s available. I’ve seen videos of him being bullied by the Chelsea boys, it’s clear he’s not a trouble maker… why not snap him up as additional cover in the middle of the park?

Injury news!

We can end on a positive note. Though suspension has severely hampered our chances on Sunday, at least our defensive mashup can have another crack at playing together. Tommy V should be back, JD is ok and our new left back Sagna is also fit. It’s going to be a massive ask for our defence to deal with some serious wide talent at the weekend, but at least Vermaelen will be fit.

I know United look great, honestly, they really do. Sometimes though, when a team is so over hyped at the start of a season, they drop a clanger and make everyone look stupid. Can they drop that clanger tomorrow? You never know. At least we’ve got a keeper who can win us points this year. That makes me a hell of a lot less nervous going into the game. United also have a very dodgy keeper in tomorrow which is why I’d have opted to play Bendtner. We need to fire lots of high balls at him and we need to pressure him all game. He’ll make errors, his confidence is in tatters. He could be the key to any result tomorrow, a nervous keeper means a nervous defence.

If we aren’t hustling De Gea tomorrow… that will tell you a lot about how little we pay attention to opposition weaknesses. Something I’ve been complaining we ignore for years. Something that reaps rewards when executed well. It’s a game of slim margins, we need all the help we can get.

How do you think the team will line up? I have no idea… the best squad line up gets repackaged as my own tomorrow morning!

Right… see you in the comments!

    lmao.

You know what. In 30 years, someone will be having a conversation like that on a blog in Beijing or Delhi and a Bacary will be defending a Brit ;-)

    Cheers, Geoff.

  2. Zorr0

So the more commonly used term for negro, which a black person is can be considered acceptable? Sometimes you can be quite ridiculous, presumably because it’s your ball and if we don’t like it you’ll take it home!

  3. Geoff

Ni**er and Paki are in the banned list.

I had one bloke in moderation call goonerpaki and he called me a racist because he was stuck in moderation, sometimes I can’t win.

  4. Mayank

Ideally he should’ve been blooded in this season. You’re right he was played because of injuries. Last season was a season too early for Szcz. He coped fantastically though.

But the fact is Wenger bought him bigged him up for no real reason and gave him a chance.

  5. BacaryisGod

On our new signing (assuming it’s tied up), I’m just hoping he’s the 3rd player of 2-3 new signings Wenger spoke about and the other two will be top drawer signings.

If not, this could be a long season.

  6. Geoff

Zorro, how the fuck do you know I’m not black? Fucking racist.

And for your information, Negro is Spanish for black.

  7. BacaryisGod

Honestly, Geoff I think Gook is as offensive as Paki. Maybe living in America sharpens my opinion on this, but it is thought of as a deeply offensive word. I’m assuming it is much the same back home in England.

  8. Paul King

I’ve been watching the bindippers this season and my guess is that they’ve gambled over 100 million to become Arsenal 2006-2011. 3rd or 4th at best…but fuckin’ no hope of a title! 21 years and counting.

  9. BacaryisGod

Mayank-that’s because no-one really uses the word outside of England.

Honestly, Geoff I think Gook is as offensive as Paki. Maybe living in America sharpens my opinion on this, but it is thought of as a deeply offensive word. I’m assuming it is much the same back home in England.

  11. ritesh

Seriously, if anyone think we will end outside the top 4 with Wenger in charge is a deluded fool. Every year they say that, and every year it delivers.

It’s like me buying gold since 10 years. Every three months they say the price is crashing and it goes up again.

But will we ever win it, I dont think so.

  12. Mayank

It’s the connotations around it in the UK I suppose. And the context.

And a whole lotta Indians fed up with being confused with Pakistanis.

  13. ORIGINAL AKB HATER

HOW LONG WILL ARSENAL FANS BE FOOLED LIKE PRICKS- ASK YOURSELVES WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING???? WWWWWAAAAAAAKKKKKJEEEEEE UUUUUPPPP!!!!!!!

  14. Zorr0

Wouldn’t matter if you were black, yellow or polka dots!

Anyway, so some are saying we are looking at Elia, how many pacy wide men do we need ffs! That kind of thing makes me think Hazard is a no way jose transfer!

  15. incesc

we will fall out the top 4 this year.

we start the season against swansea way behind. we’ve lost 28 goals last season from $amir and cesc and we have no left back.

    dire times

  16. Mayank

I’d actually feel bad for Lille if we got Hazard now Zorro. We’ve acted like cunts if reports are to be believed.

  17. Keyser

incesc – fuck off, it’s back to the good old days, we’re getting some English blood back into the team, hopefully they re-introduce the Cup Winners Cup and then maybe anE arthquake will hit and we can re-build Highbury.

  18. incesc

    your such an abbo keyser

btw i think we’ll fall out but i think the futures ok with a new manager and wilshere, frimpong, ramsey and chesney.

  19. incesc

heres a list of racist names for white people

    Honky
    Gringo
    Cracker
    White Devil
    Blanco
    Wigger
    Peckerwood
    Whitey
    White Trash or WT
    Round-Eye
    Powder
    Pale Face
    Goy
    Gomer
    Fish-Belly

  20. BacaryisGod

Wenger has a 50-50 track record with his unexpected ‘bargain’ signings. For every Toure, there’s a Silvestre. The difference is that a bunch of other managers have 50-50 track records with 10 million or 20 million signings.

I think we’re all glad that there’s another body upfront in case Chamakh doesn’t come out of his coma. If we land M’Vila and Cahill (or Jagielka), the season will still have hope.

  21. Keyser

Ah shit my next post was a cracker, no pun intended, but it got binned because I used ‘pak*’, it had loads of funny words in it though like ‘darkies’ Chinks and so on.

  22. Keyser

Cahill seemed unsettled today, either that or he’s fucking shite, can’t believe we actually bid for him, 6 millions about right.

  23. Zorr0

Mayank, maybe now is the time for us to act like cunts to other clubs, after all, it seems to be okay for the club to do it to us!

  24. Only one charliegeorge

Egg foo young and chips brilliant 100million in the bank and he signs a 3 million unknown just been relegated you could’nt make it up we are now officially no longer a big club

  25. DaleDaGooner

    I can’t understand the unnecessary moans sometimes…

We went after Mata, something happened, maybe Chelsea came in and offered him better terms, we have options in Hazard, Martin and a few others, to be honest, Hazard is good, but Theo has better numbers and we still berate Theo

On the Chu Young issue, again, people know fuck all about this player and are already talking crap, we are losing Bendtner and for once we ain’t signing a 17 year old, we are getting a captain of a very good national team, who is quite good on the ball and if Park JI-Sung is anything to go by, would add much energy and leadership to our young squad, better than Bendtner in my opinion without even kicking the ball yet.
Monaco just got relegated so people who come on and spout shit about him being in Ligue 2, already showing ignorance.

Cahill is English and i can understand why that makes him automatically worth 17m on the last year of his contract, yeah, 3 caps for England and on a Bolton side that got spanked by Liverpool, he singl handedly stopped Henderson and co today.

Look 6m and add-ons is just about right for him, Bolton can accept it or say come back with more, no need for Arsenal fans to be insulting about it. We sold Clichy for around the same with no add-ons, and Nasri went to rich douche bags, plus Nasri is 6 times better for us than Cahill is for Bolton.

  26. Gunner2301

Mayank Wenger has bigged up everyone who’s been in the team including Richard Wright, Jeffers, Squillaci, Senderos, Silvestre, Vela, Bendtner, Eboue, Diaby, Denilson, Stepanovs, Luzny, Wreh I could go on. The odds are that he will be proven right at some point after being proven wrong so many times.

What is telling is that he didn’t identify Chesney as the keeper for that season. He dithered between Almunia and Fabianski after first looking externally at Mark Schwarzer and after not going the extra mile for Schwarzer he undermined the 2 keepers we had they delivered a horror show between them before Fabianski was injured and Almunia was unplayable he was so bad.

At that point he saw to give Chesney his chance after many would have given him the opportunity the season before as both keepers were bad during that season too. I also wouldnt call Chesney great until he’s cemented his place and has been there a few seasons so in that respect the jury is still out.

  27. BacaryisGod

DaleDaGooner-thanks for the common sense. I’m not excited by Park’s signing but let’s give him a run first to see how he fits in. My guess is that he’ll be an average but consistent squad player, and that’s what he’s been bought for. The big ones are still to come (I hope…)

  28. Bennydevito

    Geoff says:

    August 27, 2011 at 18:25 …..

I totally agree with you, I really do, and despite the fact I find Gambon’s language offensive 9 times out of 10 he speaks sense too. I’m all for a bit of contraversy (sp) and banter but sometimes it just irks me that people like Willy billy get such a hard time yet Gambon sails off into the sunset with a cigar and a smile. Keep up the good work though, love this blog and tell all my mates about it – even some of my Man utd mates read it and love it too.

  29. Keyser

‘Hustler are in possession of the Rihanna and J-Cole tape,’ Hustler revealed in a statement.

‘We have seen it and we do not know what we are going to do with it yet.’

  30. Keyser

“But you do Keyser you dirty, dirty man. That’s why you’ve posted it”

Ah, nah, sometimes I just post what I’m thinking at the time.

  31. Gunner2301

Boozy my post illustrates that. Dale we didn’t deposit the money for his buyout clause into their accounts on time and the clause expired so his price went up and we wouldn’t pay the additional money so Chelsea came along and did.

The only think Young has in common with Park Ji Sung is his value to Arsenals marketing department like Park was invaluable to Man U’s lets not lose sight of what this is really about. We need world class quality to support RVP as he will get injuries. Replacing Bendtner with someone of equal or lesser quality than either he or Chamakh shows no ambition and right now we are expecting to see ambition.

  32. Squirrel

4 of the top 5 are liverpool, chelsea man city and man utd
We are 16th and thats likely to be worse by 6-30 tomorrow
Season over before the end of the transfer window.

  33. Arse&Nose©

For too long this blog has tolerated racial slurs and over the last year you have lost some of your very best patrons

Pedro/Geoff -You lot have had plenty of chances to clean it up but it takes an age for anyone to take action against those who consistently offend. On the other hand we see you give out bans on posters who disagree with your anti-wenger dogma quickly and with little consideration.

This used to be a great place to debate football but its now turning into a trashy place full of sensationalist attention seekers.

  34. kapslock

£80 million in the bank and we sign some fucking Monaco reject for £5 million. What a complete disgrace. I don’t give a fuck if he is a captain and and is a snip at £5 million. He’s not super super quality. He’s most probably average at best. You couldn’t make this shit up.

  35. Keyser

A&N – Lighten up dude, we live in a democracy, of course on here Geoff’s the dictator. but they’re called minorities for a reason.

  36. BacaryisGod

Agreed Arse&Nose-the most disappointing comment I’ve heard on this blog all year was Geoff’s defending Gambon for just calling someone a ‘name’ (in this case labeling Park Chu Young a gook). I really think Pedro is embarrassed by this but just doesn’t want to confront Geoff. As it stands, the blog loses all credibility when it lets Gambon’s racist rants go unchecked.

What a shame-there are so many great posters on here interested in just talking about football instead of posting cowardly racial slurs.

  37. DaleDaGooner

Gunner2301, and how do you know he isn’t better than “I am the best striker”?? The Arsenal fan today has been spoilt by Wenger himself

We want classy players, yes, but lets not act like we know more than we really do know.

A lot on here wanted Cahill, and we all know if Bolton can do with 10m for him, if they quietly ask us to pay 10m upfront.

Chicharito was an unknown quantity, Odemwingie did pretty well for WBA, lets just wait and see where this all goes before we write whatever is fashionable these days.

I’m not supporting Wenger, but I’d like to deal with fats.

  38. Arse&Nose©

    lighten up?

that is exactly the type of cowardly irresponsible statement that is banded about by apologists for the numbskull’s who pollute this place with racial slurs. I thought you were better than that Keyser.

  39. DaleDaGooner

I can’t take someone serious when they label a player “Monaco reject” or use racial slurs cause we didn’t sign Juan Mata, Benzema, Maradona’s Son In-law and the many layers that are established world class entities.

But we should sign Birmingham’s and West Ham rejects though, the double standards.

  40. Keyser

A&N – I’m not better than ‘THAT’ or anyone, anything anyone ever assumes about me on this blog is true.

  41. BacaryisGod

Keyser-please tell me you’re joking. How can a blog ban some racist names and defend other racist slurs as just calling people names and there’s no harm to it? It smacks of hypocrisy.

Geoff also said that it’s ok to call a P-k- a P-k- (edited to avoid moderation) because ‘it’s what they are, even though the word is banned on his blog!

    Amazing.

  42. Geoff

Some people on here aren’t that bright are they, I don’t bin people for disagreeing, I bin people for insulting me, Pedro other Grovers or the blog.

Try and learn that those of you who think otherwise please.

As for those who get irritated by not being let out of moderation, I’m not on here 24/7

  43. TOMTOM

Fuck off Bacary, you are constantly complaining about racism on here. Is this story about us signing a Korean a wind up?

  44. Keyser

TomTom – Dunno why you’re moaning, you’re just as bad posting bullshit articles from irish nutters.

Apologies if the dude wasn’t Irish.

  45. Arse&Nose©

That’s right ,anyone who kicks up a fuss about consistent use of offensive, derogatory, racial slurs is a dim retard from the pc brigade.

Thanks for clearing that up, I give up.

  46. Rhyle

Keyser…opinion is the new fact. As you believe that you’re right…and I mean REALLY believe in what you’re saying…then you can tell everyone it’s a fact. Just look at any newspaper or watch SSN these days, no reportage, just bullshit opinion presented as fact from “unnamed sources” or “our understanding”.

  47. patthegooner

why is everyone getting so precious.

Jesus Pedro and Geoff put in a serious amount of effort and time to put this blog together and I very much doubt they have the time to vet every post to make sure it does not upset anyone.

Seriously guys, if you get offended by something that someone posts just ignore it and ignore the person writing it.

I read some things on here that do cross the line but I ignore them. Please move on boys and girls and leave Geoff and Pedro to do what they do best.

If you keep complaining and telling tales on each other, then I would not be surprised if they just said fuck it and closed the blog down.

I am not saying that the posts and posters concerned are ok, but it blogosphere you simply cant please everyone and what one person may find offensive will not offend others.

  48. Arse&Nose©

TOMTOM, I don’t take offence I’m not Korean, I’m not black so why should I?

I just come here to talk football what has colour, nationality, race got anything to do with football?

Why do we always end up talking about the nationality and race of a player?

Ask yourselves these questions before jumping up in arms against the so called ‘pc brigade’.

  49. TOMTOM

I dont have time to argue that point Keyser but it seems that some people on here get offended very easily and kick up a fuss over nothing. I’m off to the pub, later fockers.

  50. craigy

is it true that arsenal paid lille money a couple seasons ago two have first refusal on hazzard? people were on about it on another site, is there any truth in this or what?

  51. BacaryisGod

Back on Football for a second, no matter what your opinion on our transactions this summer, no-one can dispute it’s been our most active transfer window in recent history (perhaps ever) as it relates to the main squad.

IN (5 players so far): Gervinho, Jenkinson, Chamberlain, Park Chu Young (assumed), Campbell

LOAN (2 players so far): Denilson, Vela

OUT (6 players so far): Fabregas, Nasri, Clichy, Eboue, Bendtner (assumed) Almunia (assumed).

If we add two more players and Squill goes, we’ll be at 7 in, 7 out and 2 on loan.

Wenger hates to shake things up this much, but in this case it could be a blessing in disguise if we get ‘winning mentality’ players to come in. No more Denilson failing to track back or Eboue conceding a last-second penalty on a player running away from goal. No more Almunia’s haunted expression even as a 3rd choice. No more Bendtner’s ego that was more misplaced than his first touch.

Fabregas, Clichy and Nasri were all good contributors to the club to different degrees but they were also key components of a squad who couldn’t get the job done in the final reckoning. Arsene didn’t want those three to go, but it might be just the change we need.

New blood. Fresh Air. Revolution not Evolution this time, and it could reap rewards.

  52. Keyser

A&N – You sound quite young dude, I think you need to ask different questions and wonder why Geoff and Pedro allow certain things and disallow others, also if you live in England think of the country you live in.

  53. Keyser

TomTom – and yet you felt the need to post up that particular article, think about it, you can’t have it both ways.

  54. patthegooner

all depends on the next four days Bacary

I am not expecting much, but hopefully Wenger will surprise us all and pull a few world class rabbits out of the hat!!!

Could do with a deadline day Van Der Vaart like signing.

Surely even Wenger knows that inaction will probably cost him his job by Christmas.

  55. patthegooner

Also whilst I understand why Arsene is gambling on Cahill coming for a reduced fee as Bolton need to shift him, I wonder if having him in the team would have altered any of the results so far.

Could those 5 dropped points be the difference between CL Football?? If so that financial saving is instantly nullified by loss of revenue next season.

  56. Arse&Nose©

    Keyser

I’m young because I’m tolerant of non-white english people in this country? Give me a break. I’m older than you think, do not patronise me. Age does not = intelligence

  57. patthegooner

Sometimes I feel that Wenger saving a few million on getting a player cheaper last minute.com gives him more satisfaction than a trophy. Even if it costs him later down the line

  58. kapslock

    LeGrove Le Grove
The midfielder is more rumour than fact, so I’ll keep quiet. Needless to say… a very good player should be on his way.

What is of this Pedders eh?

    ===========================================

No offence A&N…you’re a good bloke…but this may be one of the most unintentionally funny things I’ve read on here.

  60. gazzap

checked out the You Tube on Park. Looks to gave a very good finishing technique. so not too many balls in row Z. Clearly they only show the goals but there was a consistency to the way he scored nearly all his goals, so he has his own trademark goal which is good.
I didn’t see many poacher type goals where a player, like Chicarito at Man utd, just sniffs out anything going. I would love to have a player like that but maybe not Wenger’s cup of tea. I would say looks better than Bendtner but the proof can only be in the pudding.
Koreans normally give 100% every game at least. Decent buy but not really first choice player, but someone behind RVP who is better than Chamakh!

  61. wenger on holiday

    Whys everyone going nuts? Chiiiilll

I dont get this signing, because he doesnt look an out an out goalscorer..nor a midfielder…if anything a winger…mm

    THE GOOD NEWS

i played a game of fifa with him.. 90th minute 0-0 and he scores 2 goals in the 5minutes of extra for monaco vs lillie

SO clear signs of good mentral strengths and spirits….

  62. Yandi

    kapslock

Actually, with Wenger you could make this shit up…! Everytime I think Wenger’s sunk to the lowest depths he could reach, he reaches deeper. How many Champions League or Premier League appearances did the players Wenger’s signed this summer have before coming to the Arse…? Diddly squat. Nada. Fuck-all. And that senile cunt talked about adding experience back in May. I’m much more of a cunt for beleiving him. Sickening.

  63. Zorr0

If we buy M’vila, what does that mean to SOng and Frimpong? It also leaves us very short on creativity in the middle and puts the whole onus on LJW to provide it.

  64. bade the gooner (bernard)

something not many of you referred to, concerning our alleged new signing, is that two very famous ingredient of the east-asian players, are their very high work ethics, on and off the pitch, and they’re usually highly intelligent and modest…….

  65. incesc

    serious post here:

i dont think frimpong is a dm, he clearly has the power and the guile to make things happen on the offensive side.

and wilshere will play in cescs role now. At the start of last season everyone was shocked wenger played him in a more defensive role, he was clearly schooling him to improve his all round game.

he will replace the cesc role over the next couple of years

  66. Samir

Owen Coyle on the effect of Arsenal’s interest in Gary Cahill on his performance against Liverpool: “I do think it had an effect on him today. It’s probably the first time I have seen him not be the normal outstanding lad that he is. But that can happen to anyone.”

    He had Arsenal DNA…

  67. wenger on holiday

Amazing Gambon is allowed here considering how sick and inhuame he is, i would hate to meet him in real life

  68. Zorr0

I can’t say I know a great deal about M’vila, but I am hoping he is an upgrade on Song, who may be one of the last trouble players left now! Mid 3 of M’vila, LJW and Ramsey, with RvP, Theo and Gervinho could be good enough, but how often could you keep them together.

Dale I don;t know if he is better than Bendtner but what I look at are the needs of the team and what we need is a player that can push RVP and he would seem to agree with me http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/869056-robin-van-persie-pleads-with-arsenal-to-start-signing-proper-players Young is not that player that’s why I’m not impressed by it no matter how many shirts he’ll sell.

I’ve been supporting the club long before Wenger came to Arsenal when winning was a novelty and will be there long after he is gone so believe me it’s not about winning but putting out the best team we know we can given our resources and those players we put out giving their all for the shirt, which isn’t what we have been seeing over the last few seasons and I believe a lot of fans feel the same.

Before anyone comes back with We couldn’t get another striker in because they would be sat on the bench. Ask yourself what all the other big clubs are doing they will have at least 2 or 3 top strikers and it’s part and parcel of the modern game that some players have to sit out some games so don’t give Wenger that excuse because it would be a very poor one. It’s nearly as bad as new signings killing the youngsters, which if they are good enough that shouldn’t be a problem, after all were not a charity FFS.

Probably wenger on holiday, he does look special though…Very disappointed it was rejected…I’d of loved to of watched him up top in the Carling cup team!!

Chelsea really don’t look like anything amazing just yet to be fair. Hopefully they don’t click with Mata.

Makes no sense, Give Ryo a permit then turn arund and say Campbell isn’t a special talent, someone already playing for his National team and showing exceptional talent…the English FA and Government and there flawed logic.

So now I read we are interested in Johnson, cracking move and I would prefer him to Nasri, but shouldn’t Wenger have asked for him when they were after Nasri, or is that me just being a businessman?

To any Korean’s out there, you all seem to rate this Park, I wouldn’t say no to anyone who can score goals but why has no one else been there? And why would we pay £10mil when Lille had a done deal at £3mil?

    Just a question.
