So the press conference went off without a hissy fit yesterday. Arsene Wenger claimed Arsenal would not sell in the summer. People who work at the club told me last year that Wenger was adamant he wouldn’t sell Cesc unless the asking price is matched. I doubt Barcelona are going to want to fork out a fee as colossal as £60million this summer and I doubt Cesc is interested in moving to any other club outside Barca. As I see it, that one is a stalemate.
Rumours about Nasri clearing off also seem wide of the mark. He’s had a good year, he’s a top player but he’s not proved himself over a season yet and as far as I’m concerned he still has a long way to go before teams like Madrid and Barca come knocking.
Wenger also made comments that suggest he still thinks this team could win the league under different circumstances…
“There are some things when the team has lost a little bit of confidence, is a bit more nervous, is in a more difficult patch, that you pay for, but you do not necessary pay for every year,”
I’m not quite sure I like the science behind that statement. Ok, in different circumstances we might beat Bolton. However, with this team, you can bet your bottom dollar if that happened, we’d lose to Stoke instead. This season can’t be looked at as a huge success. Our defence is on track to concede about 1 goal less than last season, our attack looks set to be 8 goals shy of last years total and our points total looks to have stayed static. (calculated using our averages so far)
We can’t bank on differing circumstances next year. The problems this year won’t disappear with a nice holiday. You don’t find attitude at the bottom of a cocktail, unless of course, you drink 8 of them. We’re not going to find the missing leadership from Thomas Vermaelen. He’s a great player but he was part of the problem the year before. The team needs an injection of new talent and the special talent we already have needs to be supplemented by hungry talent that is willing to fight. We need to move on the sulkers, bring in the young players who have done well and really have a good go next year.
If numbers can convince you that Denilson is the best thing since Diaby knocked out John Terry, then you’ll take solace from this season. If you use your eyes to watch the beautiful game, you’ll know our problems run far deeper than a ‘let’s just have another crack at more of the same’ next season. Arsene claims we’ve closed the gap on United, I think my numbers show that’s more because United have dropped their level this year and we’ve remained static.
Nothing to brag about…
The good news on the assistant manager front is that Dragan Stojkovic has dealt Arsenal a hammer blow by agreeing a new deal with Grampus 8. How do you feel Arsene, your mate used you to get a better deal? The good news is that should mean Wenger looks closer to home in his bid to sign an assistant. Giles Grimandi has put himself forward and has attended all the home games this season but for me, he’s too much of an AKB. Though I have heard he is meticulous about preparation etc…
Me? I’d prefer Paddy Vieira or Steve Bould. Recruit from within, challenge yourself and accept that there is more than one opinion that counts in the world of football.
The manager had his say on the despicable chanting that is sent his way by the United fans and he was as usual, very fair about his expectations. I’ve no doubt the United fans will be at it again, if they are, swift action should be taken against the perpetrators. There is always a danger that this type of ‘respect’ campaign turns into a situation where people are losing their season tickets for calling someone a sausage… hopefully that won’t happen and we’ll eradicate disgusting chanting from the game.
It’ll be interesting to hear if the United Fans take notice considering the bleating they do about the Munich disaster songs City sing at them.
Enjoy the Royal Wedding, I’ll mostly be manning up and drinking some beer today, I suggest you do too… happy Friday everyone!
P.S. The AST has once again proved why if you’re going to back any supporters group this summer, it should be them. They’ve put together a letter that is articulate, credible and full of direction. They’ve specified their concerns (season ticket increases), they’ve outlined why they don’t think it should happen this year and they’ve asked the club to put of the price hike for a year. It’s a compelling case put forward by a body that is organised, accountable in the fullest and has 100% backing of the fan base… and you know what, they even managed to get my new best friend Jeremy Wilson to knock them out a spread in the Telegraph.
Wearing a snappy piece of clothing and doing something as dramatic as a march will always snare the attention of a journalist desperate for some content… it doesn’t mean there is fan consensus. For me, as a blogger of nearly 5 years, I can tell you that maintaining content, enthusiasm and effort in incredibly tough. It’s even harder to deal with constant criticism. threats and opposition to whatever you’re doing. That’s why I admire the AST. You know who you’re dealing with, you know what their agenda is, there is a hierarchical structure in place and you can challenge, attend and join the organisation and have a say.
Fair play to any group that wants to get together in the best interests of the fans, I just hope they know what they’re letting themselves in for and that they have a long-term plan.
In my opinion, all fringe movements have done is highlight how lucky we are to have such a professional body working on our behalf. I hope you all feel the same and give them your support and backing in the way of joining.

Lurch enough with the conspiracies man…fuckin hell!!
Lurch
But if we are talking conspiracies – the whole world loves Prince William dont they?

and he desperately needs some advice from Warne’s hair regrowth team.
http://www.college-of-arms.gov.uk/William.htm
Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.” Rev 13:1,2
Im just giving an opposing view to the royal wedding today.
Gotta love that women around the world are discussing the dress
Whilst all the blokes are talking about which Sister would get it the most.
Pippa for me, she looks hot.
shit I’d do their mum given the opportunity, great calf muscles!
I’M BACK!!! and The Target for us in the summer according to a lot of people seem to mouthing are M’Vila, Gamerio, Hazard, Ayew, Payet, Sakho…….
More FRENCHIES!
and i See even more ‘Wenger Out’ have joined this blog, wow and where is the legendary Geoff and Pedro!!!
SBG,
Pedro writes every day, the Bear Man has gone AWOL…
and the Legions of DooM™ need to cherry pick the right candidates, as the recruitment camps are bursting in seams
G-Star, why does Nationality matter? :S, aren’t frenchies one the reason we were unbeaten in 2004?…
doomers of the lost batty hole i think they called SBG
Suga3, Long time!!! and Damnn, Get well Bear man and Oh cool, Pedro is still alive
and Lmao
Current Frenchies are crap
SBG,
I think Geoff just had enough of this shit and who can blame the big fella?
DNA,
takes one to know one, they say…
and if you ever thought of doing standup comedy, stay seated
Would love Ayew and M’vila and Gameiro.
been watching him his quie a finicky player to handle.
he’s quick of the mark and can read through balls well, will love to se him link up with jacko and Nasri
we can’t just take any refugees from ACLF and golem inc Suga.
G STAR – Nasri and Sagna are both brilliant and French
was talkin bout Gameiro
I rate Sagna but Nasri still has a lot to prove
In form Arshavin > In form Nasri !!! FACT
Nasri + 10 Million = Sneijder
Denilson and Bendtner + 5 Million = De Rossi
Fabregas = 30 Million + Afellay
Song + 8 Million = Banega
Squillaci + 15 Million = Hazard
Clichy + 12 Million = Thiago Silva
I’m reading “Times” from april 22. I’m not agree with everything. I’ve also read a post in “Highbury House blog”. I put this post and later I answer everything:
I read the post carefully and deserves some reflection. I will write later a post a more elaborate.
Two questions: a) Highbury would have to be replaced more years less years. It has been a renovation performed by many other clubs and other, will do so soon.
b) A case study: F. c. Porto. In 2003/2004 built his new stadium. Titles won at the time and since then:
Champions League: 2003/2004
UEFA Cup – 2002/2003
Intercontinental Cup – 2004/2005
League – 2002/2003, 2003/2004, 2005/2006, 2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009, 2010-2011
Cup – 2002/2003, 2005-2006, 2008/2009, 2009/2010 (at the final 2010/2011)
“Charity Shield”: 2002/2003, 2003/2004, 2005/2006, 2008/2009, 2009/2010
Step on top of other ranks in football and titles in other sports like Basketball, Handball, Roller Hockey, Swimming,…
Additionally, The presence in the Champions League except this year, has been steady that maybe in the final in Europe League.
And in Portugal, every year has 3 clubs figthing for titles: Porto, Benfica and Sporting
note: Hulk I’d like too but maybe 50 millions
Gameiro probably yes.
The majority are Crap tbf, but Nasri and Coquelin are fairly decnt
SBG,
I know what it feels like when you just don’t feel like writing for the combined set of reasons: my last blog post in the previous season was the WHU home game preview and then the combination of our annual implosion and finding my feet in the new job made me feel like I just did not feel like it…
then I wrote two posts after we lost to Spuds at home, then nothing and started writing more regularly after our season ended against Blackburn
I am a prophet of DooM™, I am!
I think Arsenal need to win more than United cuz if we lose, 2nd place will be gone and we might even finish 4th. But a win would certainly improve our chances of finishing 2nd which btw we haven’t in many years.
I would suggest you to think about my latest article(especially if are going to the Emirates on Sunday)
http://delhigunner.wordpress.com/
G star, he’s been played out of position,
he’s not a good winger, thats something weve bin lacking since we lost pires, hleb and ljunberg. Thats were Ayew will be good.
Just Kidding, The frenchies are good, while Sagna is my favorite out the Lot, and If we buy Sakho, Ayew or Hazard with Gameiro or Falcao = I’ll be ver Satifised and i know we’re interested in Lech poznan is Artews ……
Nasri has nothing to prove, he just needs to keep it up fora whole season.
I wouldn’t mind Pastore,Ganso and Hazard to come in the summer but I reckon we could of won the title this year if we got Parker and Samba.
G-STAR, watch how well Nasri does when Cesc leaves (this summer) 2011-12 player of the year Samir Nasri young player of the year Sakho remember where you heard it first.

———-
So just prove he can do it for a whole season, is that what you mean by saying hes nothing to prove?
for fuck sake Wenger is saying we nearly signed Hernandez fucking brilliant so we missed out on Yaya Ronaldo Messi Hernandez 2 of which have become world player of year and the other 2 are huge in Manchester
Samba would be shit for imo, especially in that highline…. and parker, defo…. plus cesc isn’t leaving.
Pastore and Ganso are too expensive, but hazard is realistic now and i feel we need to change to a formation which suits Fabregas, Nasri, Arshavin and Rvp, imo, that is 41211
Nasri was our player of the season for a reason the rest apart from Jack didn’t come to the party and while some were thinking of Barca and the world cup final Nasri was single handingly ripping apart teams at the start of the season all the way till December where Cesc returned.
SlickBangGoal says:

—————–
So play with 10 players?
His quality is getting question hence he has nothing to prove
Questioned sorry
SBG, Pastore will be expensive but Ganso is in Brazil he’ll be cheaper than Hazard and Hazard won’t be cheap Lille will want 30 million.
Wenger on Hernandez
“He was on our radar – we knew him but I do not want to go into that. He has had a great season.
Another one we NEARLY signed hey Arsene??????? Bit Like Ronaldo.
SBG, we’re screaming for Samba type player not just for defending set pieces but also attacking them I think Samba would be a big success at Arsenal he would become a cult hero since we really lack a beast of player like him hence the over hype about TV5. I can already see the wallpaper designs with him roaring back at the crowd after he scored a header against Spuds and players jumping all over his back while he running to the crowd clutching both fists.
ganso going to ac milan
ANB, he is in talks with Milan he’ll still have talks with Chelsea afterwards
I love summertime on Le-grove.
“Ganso, Hazard blah blah”
We will be getting oxtail-soup from Southampton and a couple of other 12 year old retards.
Thats your lot, be happy with it.
i meant 41221 ……… and Pastore = £30mill, Ganso = £40 mill, Santos want big bills for him and he is AC Milan bound, and imo, he is better than kaka at this age and Hernandez almost went to PSG;Lille;Lorient;Napoli for £1.5 mill but all rejected him, they must be gutted!
gonnerDNA, That will be a Dream for you, It’ll not happen, The defender we want is sakho as far as i know, and Ganso is going milan, neymar is going bayern munich., both have already rejected chelsea… and i expect Oxo Chamberlin to join aswell
Gunners to ‘fight like mad’
Soccer: Arsene Wenger has warned his deflated Arsenal side must “absolutely fight like mad” to make sure their season does not completely collapse and end with failure to secure Champions League qualification.
The final-minute defeat at Bolton last weekend ended a 16-game unbeaten run, but too many draws had left the Gunners playing catch-up and also looking over their shoulders.
Arsenal head into Sunday’s clash against Barclays Premier League leaders Manchester United having seen their title dreams shattered following a run of just one win in seven games, which has dropped them down behind Chelsea into third place.
Indeed now, FA Cup finalists Manchester City – who would be just two points behind if they win a match in hand – are ready to take advantage of any more off days in Arsenal’s remaining four games.
A late rally from arch-rivals Tottenham could also challenge the Gunners’ right for more than a decade of playing among Europe’s elite. Wenger is determined that cannot happen.
“We will be faithful to the attitude we have shown all season and we want to finish in the Champions League, which is not decided yet,” he told Arsenal TV Online . “We really have to watch Manchester City, because that [third place] is not done – even to be in the top four is not done. We have absolutely to fight like mad.
“It is not a massive concern, but if Tottenham come back, Manchester City will drop because they play each other or Chelsea will drop. Our focus is to win the games. We want to finish as close as possible to the top, it would be a shame not to do that.”
Wenger added: “Also if we win our games, you never know. If we can beat Manchester United, we come back to six points and after they play Chelsea, you never know they can be under pressure again. It is important for us to show we can beat them, and I am convinced we will.”
Arsenal’s failure to once again turn a season which promised so much into trophies has left Wenger facing questions over his unwavering faith in youth.
The Gunners boss has, though, vowed to work to bring in fresh talent this summer, strengthening in key areas which have proven Arsenal’s Achilles heel – most notably at the centre of defence.
However, whether those will again be promising youngsters, such as Blackburn’s England Under-21 international Phil Jones or senior men like Bolton defender Gary Cahill, remains to be seen.
Wenger, though, insists while he is focussed on delivering the required performances over the final four matches, transfer dealings are never far from his thoughts.
“We always have names in mind because we have our scouting reports from all over the world every week,” the Arsenal manager said. “It is too early to speak about that because it is important to focus highly on the end of the season.”
United’s scouting network certainly paid off when they secured a deal for Mexican forward Javier Hernandez. The 22-year-old has not looked back since netting an unorthodox debut goal in the FA Community Shield win over Chelsea at Wembley, now on course to break 20 for the season.
Wenger maintains the diminutive former Guadalajara frontman was “on our radar” before his £7million switch to Old Trafford, which the Arsenal manager feels has helped free up Wayne Rooney.
“Hernandez has been exceptional, and had a great season,” Wenger told reporters. “Hernandez plays more the runner and Rooney more the playmaker, which suits Manchester United.”
Arsenal have a poor record against United, winning only once in the past 11 meetings, which have included two in the Champions League semi-finals.
Wenger, though, believes Arsenal have closed the gap on Sir Alex Ferguson’s experienced men, even if that has not been reflected in their respective points tallies of recent campaigns.
“This game was targeted as being a decider for the championship, it certainly will not be, but we still have to give absolutely everything,” the Arsenal manager said. “It is important for us to show some fighting spirit, some fighting attitude and some pride – there is more at stake on Sunday than just the mathematics.”
Defender Thomas Vermaelen returned to action with the Arsenal reserves in Thursday night’s goalless draw at Old Trafford in what was his first appearance since the end of August after a niggling Achilles problem suffered on international duty.
The Belgian centre-back has been sorely missed, and now feels ready to help the team in their closing fixtures.
“I’m fit at the moment, I feel great and, in training, I don’t feel any problems. So physically I feel good,” Vermaelen told http://www.arsenal.com. “It’s up to the boss, he makes the decisions. I’m available at the moment so I hope I will be back in the squad soon and that is my target.”
Vermaelen added: “It’s always good to be back on the pitch and your first game after a long injury is always special. It’s been a hard time, a difficult time and I’m happy to be back now.”
Sakho the guy the bleeds PSG from the veins, the youngest ever captain of PSG at 17 lets see if they sell him and how much they’ll want IMO Samba has Premiership experience and will be alot cheaper but will see.
GANSO IS IN TALKS WITH MILAN he hasn’t signed yet Chamerbain will join I think the deal was drafted in Jan and will signed in the summer
Fergie once said he missed out on Cesc…
KUSH for real I never heard that one
goonerDNA,you privy to some inside info or something??????
WTL, Oi I don’t come and piss all over your parade do I? So if I wish we had Ganso and Hazard and Gary Lineker in goal than leave me be
Dna he said it in a press conference ahead of the match they drew 0-0 to win the championship….
ANB, no
Fergie the fucker I still say we threw it away and united never really won it.
cool,i think united will nick alex chamberlaine tho.
aaron ramsey must wish he went to united now.
DNA,
well, if they beat us on Sunday and Chavs a week later, I say it will be kind of deserved…
double over one title rival and a win against another is good enough in my book…
ANB, yep not just winning things but also more space for youngsters like Ramsey to come in
that’s why chamberlaine would be mad to join us.
Sakho will cost £15+ mill and yeah him, and Chamberlin isn’t keen on going there ….., and ganso is in talks but he is pretty much all but set to join with taiwo in the summer, and i hear arsenal are preparing a bid for hazard… Just a messenger.. and ANB, how do you conclude that view? :S, He was great up until that injury…… and would be playing a lot
SUGA, you’re right but I never admit it
ANB, you got me thinking about project youth, the more youngsters you have the less chance they have of breaking into a side, the more older players you have the more room will be created for youngsters to come in and prove themselves also picking up things from experienced players like Scholes and Giggs can only be good thing, United have the right ingredients for project youth while we’re screaming for experience and while AW creates a younger side SAF creates a winning side with youth players in and around the team -MAKES ME SICK I’m going home
because at united he will win things,at arsenal he won’t..
Will united share some of the prize money with howard webb & co.
Cos if not its kinda unfair. The refs put in soo much effort each game to help united, that they should get a cut.
Aswell as their weekly wages from SAF
who thinks we will win another game this season???
goonerDNA, good point but youth players also get frustrated at united, just look at Kusack…. and alot leave cause they aren’t giving opportunities to prove themselves…
ANB,
I reckon we can both win the last four as well as lose the lot – both case scenarios are unlikely tho!
IMO, we will lose to ManYoo, draw against Stoke and beat Villa and Fulham…
Soccer: Arsene Wenger has warned his deflated Arsenal side must “absolutely fight like mad” to make sure their season does not completely collapse and end with failure to secure Champions League qualification.
————————————-
Hahahahahaa…NOW we have to fight like madmen! Not for the title or any cup, but when the precious balance saving 4th spot is at stake.
Hope Szczesny doesn’t drop the ball like he did against Brum and Bolton, probably better let Jens play.
http://youtu.be/WMPM1q_Uyxc
perhaps we should play Shea, he may make it entertaining by the way of conceding 10 again
lol just flop it out and see who’s is bigger and get it over with!
is kate pregers yet then?
nah, this is too much fun…

Forgive my ignorance; but, who is Ganso?
How can Mr Chips (aka Arsene) seriously think we can beat Man U? No surprise that he has lost the players then….Aliadare trained with the first team at LC today…and Fabregas had a barny with Nasri…word is that Ramsey starts on Sunday for guess who…..

Lurch,
great Dein video, that!
all you Gazidis lovers: Dein is one of the men behind the sheer power of the Prem, what the fuck has Gazidis ever done?
i know Suga…
“How do you motivate a bunch or pampered millionaires…”
says it all really.
well, you can only name and shame them for being shit, bully the fuck out of them or dock their wages…
the latter is limited, since they are millionaires already!
another idea is not to pamper them in the first place…
Wenger does neither of the former three, but plenty of latter, hence the results…
and to think Dein was a vice chairman to that old twat
fuck me, we should thank heavens for him shelling out these £292K in 1983, we would not be anywhere near where we are otherwise, ffs!
True Suga, although Fiszman likely still would have found his way in if Dein hadn’t left the door ajar, Danny was a life long gooner after all.
DAVID DEIN = LEGEND
He thinks about the future whereas Hill-Wood is stuck in the 1920s.
We get Dein and Usmanov in then we will tear the likes of Manure and Barcelona a new one week in week out.
Lurch,
Dein bought into the club in 1983, Danny did it in 1999, IMO we would not have had the same success without DD before then…
i know Suga, danny bought his shares from david as per your dates. You must have seen my harping on to that effect on here at some point no?
Its one of the reasons that confounds DD’s treatment by the rest of the board for me… but we’ve discussed this hundreds of times.
News trickling down the drainpipe of this Sports Desk tells of a rumour that Arsenal owner, Stan Kroenke, has borrowed a mountainous three quarters of a billion pounds, using Arsenal FC as collateral. In order to fund a bid for a mystery baseball club in Texas.
An anonymous spokesman for the famous North London club told reporters this morning that purely from the football finance perspective, “we’re basically fucked.
“Arsenal will need to find about £70 million pounds a year just to service this debt”, said the angry spokesman.
“So forget any plans about buying in new players to win silverware next season. We’re in the same boat now as Manchester United.”
“Except unlike us, they regularly win things. Which allows Mr Glazer to give Sir Alex a few million every so often”.
“Once we’ve sold Fabregas and a few others we might have enough money to approach some of the big clubs like Port Vale. Or Accrington Stanley”.
“See if they’ll sell us an up-and-coming superstar for a few bob”.
“Who knows, we might pick up the odd 40 year old centre forward to help us win the Premier Title”.
ANB,
that’s bollocks, not a chance of that happening without Usmanov’s consent…
Dont worry SUGA, he has copy and pasted it off a spoof website.
Although I do wonder how protected the funds are at Arsenal to prevent Stan moving them around
ptg,
I am not worried, not in the slightest, at least for as long as Jabba is here…
seems like he is the fat knight in the shiny armor afterall…
funny old world, eh?
sug, I should ave knwn it was one of the enlightened… Gud un mate!
On the lucio tip, I aint fuckin wif y’all-u can do ur research.

Maciek,
I agree, however, his need to have a run of games to get in the groove worries me – we should play the no.2 and no.3 in the stiffs on the regular basis, IMO…
thats the one sug…. i wouldn’t dare criticize your boyfriend!
Gstar you definitely have your uses!
Lurch
thanks to DD’s courage and AW’s vision we are a fucking massive club, bigger people than any of us could ever imagine than when “Thomas went charging through the midfield” to coin my fav phrase.
But now DD has been gone for yonks and it seems like someone has removed AW’s eyes, brains and all cmmon over the last few years. Then i read on here basically what a looney maureen is. !!!!!
Guys if we had the cock we’ed be champs in the first season and cpl year after.
How many of our players would get into his Arsenal team? Not fucking many I know.
Suga,
Do you think that we do need a brand new nr 1 gk or would you give Wojtek a chance?
I think Szczesny is ready and shouldn’t be replaced.
Maciek,
Szczesny all the way! given that our funds are limited, spending upwards of £15M ona a GK who would just be a slight improvement over Wojtek is nonsense, IMO…
widziales moje tlumaczenie wywiadu ze Szczesnymi na blogu?
Suga,
Would you be happy with Cahill, Bains, Parker, Falcao and Hazard?
yep…
happier with Subotic, Baines, Rodwell, Hazard and Benzema tho
I have heared that Subotic isn’t that great. But also you tend to think Cahill is average as well.
i thought i read Subotic and hummels had the best defensive record in europe?
Yes Lurch, but take away Vidic from Ferdinand and they won’t be so great. The same with the Dortmund pair.
Just finish having sex with kate, now prince williams can come in and arsene wenger later.
these our targets:

think must of it is bollocks. Only Verthongen, Hazard and Benzema are on our radar. Wenger also admitted we lack experience. De Rossi was talked about in talkshit yesterday.
Oh yes ANB this rumour you posted was meant sarcastic!!! So Suga this was just a joke.
I was watching The Premiership years on sky the other day which featured the Manure v Arsenal game when that cheating VAN N missed pen and the Vieira sending off. When wenger talks about passion I suggest he watches this game. This was a team who hated to lose, would fight to the very end. The idea that this team would be continually dropping points to newly promoted teams, would draw after being 4 nil up, would lose at home to the likes of west brom, newcastle etc would be unthinkable. Look at the reaction of our players at the end of that game. Sure we were heavily criticised but seeing it again made me so proud. I know its useless to keep harking back to the past but after the ridicule Iv’e had to put up with for the past few months it’s all I have left.
I’ve noticed that a lot of the AKBs blogs have been strangely quiet following the Bolton game. I guess there must be a limit to the number of times are you can keep making the same excuses, watching the same mistakes, the same failings, which the realist amongst us predicted would happen. When we pointed out that our title aspiration was just a pipedream and we would ending fighting for 3rd or 4th place we were branded as “not true supporters” told to “***k off and support another club”. I admire AW and appreciate the amazing job he has done for the club. However, I do believe he has made mistakes and his ego and arrogance makes it unlikely that he will take the necessary steps and make the signings to make us true title contenders. To do this he would have to acknowledge that he was wrong and his giant ego will not allow him to do so.

and that’s why I said it was bollocks outright
fuck me, the word ‘soccer’ at the beginning takes away about 70% credibility straight away!
