Ha, ha April Fool suckers!

Er, no actually it wasn’t, yes it’s true Arsene Wenger has unbelievably let Jeremy Aliadiere back in and he played for the reserves the other day, and shock horror, didn’t get injured.

Now I understand he stupidly didn’t sign a much needed keeper this season and he unfortunately lost all his boys, so signing old boy Jens Lehmann although bizarre, necessary as he is still better than the clown that is Almunia, I also understand him letting his mates train at our place like Beckham, Pires and Henry, but to resign a player, that Middlesbrough and West Ham rejected 5 years after we luckily sold him is whackier that doing club level’s recorded message.

If this doesn’t prove our manager has passed his sell by date nothing ever will and we are surely doomed, I mean we have 18 players out on loan, 55 players to choose from, the fourth biggest wage bill in the English Premier league and we can’t find or recall one, how can he justify playing Aliadiere in the reserves, if at 27 Aliadiere is finally at the right age then Wenger was at fault for playing him in our squad as a teenager, if Aliadiere is good enough to be a stop gap in our squad then why have we got 18 players out on loan?

It is the strangest decision that Wenger has made since Bischoff, and that really was the strangest decision since Silvestre and that was the strangest decision since Shabaan and that was the dumbest decision since Stepanovs.

Anyway needless to say the bit that was an April fools joke was the bit about spending all that money, he needs our transfer fund to get Denilson, Fabianski, Eboue and Diaby to sign long term and much improved contracts.

    Pep Guardiola has indicated that he will leave Barcelona when his contract expires next summer.

    Guardiola took over at Camp Nou in the summer of 2008 and has earned rave reviews for his work at the club.

    He signed a one-year contract extension in February to keep him with the Catalan giants until the end of next season.

    The 40-year-old has now dropped a heavy hint that he will decide to move on at the end of his current deal.

    He told Italian television channel Rai Sport: “I think my time is ending here in Barcelona.

    “I’m fine here, but when you’re at a club like this you cannot stay for too long.

    “Next year will be the fourth consecutive season as coach of Barcelona.

    “Such a club must have a lot of courage to take a coach for so long, because the players get tired of coaches and vice-versa.”

    Italy option
    Asked if he might one day coach in Italy, the former Brescia and Roma midfielder added: “I’ll come if I still want to coach.

    “It takes enthusiasm and more to make such a decision.”

    Since taking over at Barca, Guardiola has already won eight titles including an unprecedented treble of Primera Division, UEFA Champions League and Copa del Rey in his first campaign.

    Barca are currently five points clear at the top of La Liga, through to the final of the Copa del Rey and in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

    the latter is just a NHL thing, more staged than anything – there was a Polish player there, Krzysztof Oliwa who was said to have a clause in his contract stating the MINIMUM number of minutes on the ‘naughty step’ :lol:

    quite limited as a player, but boy he could fight!
