Who earned a whopping 70% bonus this year and who else might be? + West Ham preview!

by & filed under Uncategorized.

So the big news this morning is Arsenal Cheif exec Ivan Gazidis took home a massive £1.7 million last year, equating to a bonus of nearly 70%! An incredible salary you have to say. It’d be fantastic to know how much of that is linked to club profits and whether that bonus structure is similar to the one Wenger receives?

It would make sense for their bonuses to be aligned in some way and that would explain an awful lot about the anxiety displayed when we’re asked to pay a million pounds extra for a player we need.

Having said that, it’s difficult to knock what he’s done off the pitch. He’s worked with the fans on all sorts of projects, he’s overseen the ATVO deal with that American company, we’ve got all the players tied down to new contracts and he’s worked hard to improve facilities around the ground. He’s also employed an impressive no expenses spared back room staff to take the clubs commercial revenues to the next level when the property party has died down.

However, there will be a few raised eyebrows looking at that type of bonusing. It’s kind of the opposite to City method. Arsenal have clearly weighted his bonus heavily in the direction of total risk aversion. It means that when you look at signing a £20million player who could win you the title, you’ll probably be looking at it from a personal perspective…

Crude sums here with made up figures

Difference in prize money between 4th and 1st – £3million

Cost of £20million player + Wages = £24million

Loss to clubs profits best case scenario = £21million

Loss to 1.2% of profit share = £276,300

If you stood to lose over £250k personally by purchasing a Pepe Reina, would you do it? Or would you pray to god Almunia could hold it together for a year until Chesney came good?

Now all of the above is complete speculation and guess-work, but I’m not sure how many businesses bonus you on losing money. So I reckon I’m not far off in my assumptions about how that pay is made up. The worry, like I mentioned earlier, is that Arsene Wenger is rewarded in a similar fashion.

Anyway, onto today’s match!

West Ham have been having a disaster this season. I think Gold and Sullivan have been detrimental to the West Ham cause. They’ve kept the team afloat which is admirable, but I think they’re incredibly unprofessional with their PR. They shouldn’t be slagging the players off, they shouldn’t be approaching David Beckham and I’m not sure they should be playing the ‘we’re doing this because we love the club’ stuff. They’re in it because of the property opportunity they have with the vacant Olympic Stadium.

Anyway, Avram Grant is having a nightmare at West Ham. They’ve never managed to shake off that party boy image as a club and I don’t think they’ve got enough quality or spirit to get themselves out of a hole this year. Even their kit smacks of Championship.

That doesn’t mean Arsenal can afford to be complacent, we’ve got to approach this in the same way as we did Manchester City. We have to be more organised at the back this time and we have to pressure them from the off. This is a good chance to get our goal difference up and it’s a good time to build on our clean sheet record. The team is going to be similar to the one we played against City, Diaby is out with an ankle knock and Vermaelen is still out the squad. No Jack for this one, but we should be able to cope. Cesc is in and I’d expect to see Denilson and Song partnering him in midfield. Up top, Arshavin, Chamakh and Theo are likely to start and in defence, the continued backline of Clichy, JD, Squillaci, Sagna and Fabianski.

It’ll be a good game regardless, as an Essex Arsenal fan, I’m massively up for this, bragging rights even against West Ham are as important as the Spurs ones! I’ll be reporting all todays action on our twitter feed @arsenal_legrove !

See you in the comments!

COME ON YOU REDS!

UPDATE:

It appears I’ve got a selection headache of my own by missing out Nasri! I’ll let you sort the line ups out…!

  2. pharo9ja

third game on the trot with a clean sheet…I said earlier that I would love a clean sheet and the 3 points. I’ll take em…yes please!

  3. Ricky

Left it late but was well deserved! These cunts put on the performance of there lives against bigger sides like us & get whooped by those around them. They need to get there priorities straight.

No wonder there rock bottom of the table.

  4. Rohan

West Ham played extremely well although they did cross the line at time..but they had thier game of the season right there. We played well, we weren’t that bad, and it was a decent result in the end.
    MOM for me is Nasri/Koscielny

  5. Gooby

same here, i couldn’t take it at the end, when i saw city losing and chavski drawing it made me even more nervous

  6. ritesh

    Phew…

in truth, we cannot carry 2 passengers (Shava & Denilson) and expect an easy ride.

We should have started with Nasri or Rosicky in the middle. Thank God, JW is back now.

  7. Ben

    Man! some match!!

Kozzer, Clichy, Nasri were fabulous. Denilson poor as for song.. there is only one song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Literally shaking by the end of the game!

  8. ismaeel

bloody hell wot t a goal
i woz biting me nails look i got nought left now.. hahahha
man of the match has to be koscielny and arshavin wot a game theh had theere

  9. pharo9ja

I think the city result will work to our favour. How? Their loss to wolves would definitely make the manure game a must win…u saw it here first!

  10. Rohan

Koscielny is a defensive god. On one v one’s there’s no getting past him. Has probably the sharpest and cleanest tackle on him in the game. You can’t complain with 3 clean sheets in a row so props for that.

  11. pantsR2long

    FUCK YEAH!!!

That was an intense last couple of minutes, but Songinho to the rescue is just pure brilliance. They defended their asses off and did nothing else and also fucking Mr Calamity himself Rob Green has a fucking barnstormer against us, I’ll admit I had little faith in us getting a win but just goes to show that you should never lose faith. Nasri, Kozzer and Song are my men of the match, kudos to Clichy for finally putting a good ball in and Theo deserves credit as well cause he was brilliant once on.

  12. Man

I think I lost a stone watching that

    Cesc looked injured today.

Song was fantastic today again, pretty much like he’s been for the best part of 2 seasons.

    Everyoen else played well

MOTM = Song, was there ever a doubt?

  14. Ben

    Pedro,

10 for both Song and Clichy for the assist and goal please!!! 1 moment of brillance is worth more than 90 minutes of good performance!

  15. Samir Nasri Is Infact Andy McNab

Really did not need that near scare! Always drama in any game we play!

Wouldn’t have it any other way, though :)

  16. Man

I think I lost a stone watching that

    Cesc looked injured today.

Song was fantastic today again, pretty much like he’s been for the best part of 2 seasons.

Everyone else played well except Denilson

MOTM = Song, was there ever a doubt?

  17. DaleDaGooner

I believe in A Song….but frankly, drab showing, the engine was slow (Cesc) No urgency, last season would have seen this game drawn due to poor defending. But that was not the case 1 Nil to the ARSE!! BORING BORING ARSENAL, Who carse, we won…hate that Blackburn did not pack the bus and defend their goal or draw. Man Shitty with all the Balottelli’s, Silva’s and Adebayors still lost to the Wolves. Hope the other half of Manchester looses to…c’mon jealous sister, do us a favor.

  18. Arindam@KOL

    Take it easy Rohan.
Koscielny is very good who can be potentially great.

    Song. Get in , son.

    Ratings :
Fabianski – 7 .Fuck all to do all game
    Sagna – 7
    Squillaci – 7
    Koscielny – 7.5
    Clichy – 9 . +1 for the assist and +1 for a great interception.

    Song – 9.
Fabregas – 7 . Slightly off colour , and yet on such a day he can pull off that delight of a pass to free Walcott. Best CM in the game now with Xavi ?
Denilson – 5. Stretched , harried and should be benched for Wilshere

    Arshavin – 6
    Chamakh – 6.5
    Nasri – 7

    Subs :
Theo – 8. Made an impact on the game
    Nik – 6
    Eboue – NA

  19. Gooneroo

I have as much energy after that as I would if I just fornicated with 12 Swedish nymphs on redbull. And to tell you truth, I don’t know which one I’d prefer. And btw, fuck u rob green. Smug cunt only performs against us…if he played as he usually would we’d have won 4-0.

Now for a draw between manure and spuds and we’ll be atleast 2 points ahead of third.

  20. izzo

Theo is a new man!!! His composure will do wonders for us this season if he stay fit. Just unlucky that attempt hit the post. He really has become clinical. Nasri and Theo are the most improved this season. I’m starting to believe we can win this league. I just don’t want to see Denilson, Diaby and Almunia near the first team. Let them play reserve footy. Bring in JET, Lansbury, and Szczesny who are ready IMO

  21. zeus

    Alex Valderrama Song. Brilliant goal.

Let me start by thanking Pedro and everyone else from yesterday mouthing off that West Ham were the worst West Ham side in years and they would get a hiding. PROCEED TO THE FRONT OF THE QUEUE ALL OF YOU AND GO FUCK YOURSELVES YOU CLOSEST SPUDS.

Your efforts to lull the Arsenal into a false sense of security and jinx us have been dashed.

  22. dennisdamenace

We really did make hard work of that today. Our central midfield players were shocking. Fab4 doesn’t look fit and should’ve been substituted, and Denilson is a Championship player at best and should’ve been substituted.

    We desperately needed quick passing/movement/dynamism.

Fab4 wanted too much time on the ball and Denilson is like a glass of fucking water…….nothing!!

Why does Arsene hamstring us so often by sticking by below par performers, deal with the problem(s) in the team before they bite us…..

However, i’m so fucking relieved we nicked that in the end, in fact overjoyed…….

  23. DaleDaGooner

Do you know what the best part of this season is?? Arsene Wenger has lost his rose tinted glasses on player selection and tactics. The removal of Denilson for Walcott was sublime!, not that it was rocket science, but in the past, Wenger would have removed Arshavin or Nasri and left Denilson in the game…his decision to play a strong squad for the CC and his desire to win with work horse players, is starting to look like Arsene of old, the only thing would be the players themselves not coming for the party. Only thing on his part would be strengthening in January when needed, with the right remaining pieces.

  24. Pat

Gael Clichy’s last assist at the Emirates in the Premier League before today was against West Ham, in January 2008. Hammer

  25. Pat

Alex Song has had 4 shots on target in the Premier League this season, more than in the whole of last season (3). Metamorphosis.

  26. Pat

    Before West Ham game:
Arsenal have won none of the 3 Premier League games this season when they have started with an all-French backline. Sacrebleu.

Arsenal have scored 43 goals in 14 competitive games this season, their best start since 1932/33 (44 goals). Fest.

André-Pierre Gignac has converted only 1 of his 30 shots in Ligue 1 this season (vs St Etienne), a 3% conversion ratio. Erratic.

  27. zeus

    Dennis

………………and Denilson is like a glass of fucking water…….nothing!!
***** hahaha. what does that even mean?

And was anyone else tearing their hair out on the hour mark, screaming ‘Wenger u idiot bring on Theo FFS. Don’t wait till 67 minutes.

Whats with his fascination with 67.

  28. ritesh

    DDM

I agree with that. We made hard work of it because there was not enough being provided by the midfield players. With Diaby or JW in the engine room, that would have been 5 – 0. The forwards were made to defend too much particularly in the first half.

Having said that, I think that Denilson is a good player in the CL when he has a few games under his belt.

Having said that, I think that Denilson is a good player in the CL when he has a few games under his belt.

The problem with that comment is that we play in FOUR competitions. If we only played in the CL then a player ‘who is good in the CL’ would be a player worth keeping. However, why would any club keep a player who only performs in one competition?

  30. kneelbeforewenger

Denilson is not brazilian, he’s from fucking peru.

If a useless player like him can get into arsenal, it makes me wonder why I decided the occasional weekend football was good enough for me.

  31. pantsR2long

Without Diaby or Wilshere in midfield we have no-one besides Cesc who can pick the ball up deep and make a penetrating run through the middle (and Cesc isn’t even that good at it) so he is being forced to come deep and play simple passes up to either Chamack, Song or Nasri and it’s limiting his impact in the final third where he is best placed IMO (and everyone else I’m sure).

  32. Rohan

I’m just going to put it down to west ham having a stormer, and the ref letting Parker get away with anything and everything.
Denilson honestly wasn’t all that bad. If anything, imo, Cesc was worse than him in the first half.

  33. zeus

Reading through the comments is funny. Same feelings running through all of us. hehe.

Clichy should take note of that move for his assist. Your crossing is poor son, so learn to mix it up come inside and have a little dink.

Fabregas was off colour, but victories like that I’ll take any day of the week.

Fabianski, long may your normal, nothing really to do days continue.

  34. DaleDaGooner

But we have to respect Songilinho’s authority…people need to learn he is the second coming of Pele and rate him higher..LOL!

  36. ritesh

I think Cesc had a limited impact as our game was too simple to read….Block Cesc = Block all our attacks.

The distribution in the midfield was not right. Only guys like Diaby and Wilshere can make a difference there. If the oppositions blocks Cesc, Diaby or Wilshere can attack which makes us more unpredictable and dangerous. A pity as well that Clichy was not allowed to get forward in the first half which forced Arshavin to show he can work for a living…or at least try to show

DDM, Song & Co are shit when you play quick thinking teams like Barca. This is why you need a player like Denilson there. Actually Although I dont like him, I have to acknowledge that he did give our midfeild some respectability when he came on against Barca.

  37. DaleDaGooner

Rohan..be careful, to say that Cesc has played poor in games where he is expected to play well, is not allowed…But he is still world class. The man is carrying a lot around. His slow build up dragged the team back a tad bit, Song was the only one who seemed to have an urgency in the middle. Denilson, squad player, Wilshere has taken his spot, Diaby, well, certain games for him, not all. Walcott and Nasri, the world cup snub did them a whole lot. Chamakh, as much as we love him, his low goal ratio is as a result of him being unselfish, he has to be bold and stand up and take the team on his own, score goals son! Bendtner is the other side of Chamy, he can be the selfish striker. Clichy played really well today, his assist is what we have been asking from him for a while, a meaningful cross with end product (Sagna, learn that too) What more can you say about Koscielny?? There i say he is looking better than Vermaelen at times? By far the best set of center backs in 3 years to 4 years. Fabianski, well did the basics well, no more school boy errors, please. I’d take that 1 nill, 3 points all day with that kind of showing. But WHU decided to play up against us, can they do this to other teams? I mean, lets not bang our players, WHU came to play. And anyone thinking we should have won versus WBA, think again, that team is good, we underestimated a very good team. Long may we play ugly and win, icing is to play a beaut and win. Now if only Chavs can lose some games to allow us in front..those cunts, why can’t they lose! Aren’t they old?

  38. DaleDaGooner

ritesh, almost agreeing with you, till you said Songilinho is shit against teams like Barca, are you kidding me? Song has the technique and strength to play against them, we needed him more than we needed Denilson, when you play teams like that, you need a dynamic defender like Song in there and you can add Denilson in with Cesc, but to say he would not be effective is rubbish, Barca even uses these kind of players in their setup, Yaya, Keita, etc…Speaking of Barca cunts, thier keeper Pinto has been banned for 2 games for tricking Copenhagen striker into thinking he was offside, cheating scumbags, they have no business wining some games, less they trick their way out.

  39. jacob

Great win and what a relief! Denilson will have to take his lumps as he wasn’t very good today but those questioning his quality will soon recant when he hits another one of his knuckle ball shots into the net. It wasn’t that long ago that Song was being dismissed as rubbish and substandard and beinf told by geniuses on here to stop attacking… so Denilson can take heart :-) Absolutely awesome win in the context of the season and another sign that the team is maturing. If only City had some of our substandard players, eh?

  40. Ben

Arshavin did well today IMO. Worked harder and hopefully he is getting back into some kind of form.

Chamakh need to shoot more often. He is a CF ffs! But saying that he is one of my fav Arsenal player. His hard work, commitment and intelligence of play is just brilliant.

Cesc need a run of game to get back to his ruthless best. Poor in the first half but better in the 2nd.

Theo is a new man! His runs are more purposeful and more composed in front of goal.

Denilson is a sub at best and JW/Rosicky should play before him definitely.

And while i write this ManU are 1 up! Crap cocks!

  41. ritesh

    DDG,
true Barca are a cheating bunch.

But I would still not play Song against them. He thinks too slowly as Geoff rightly says often. He was raped last time as well as Diaby. They are good technically and strong too which is good for the PL.

  42. DaleDaGooner

I remember when some useless pundits where bigging up that hobbit, Lennon, the bigged him up so much that he took our Speed demon’s place in the world cup squad for England..look what they got back in return..our gain, their loss.

  43. jacob

Song thinks too slowly? What the hell does that even mean? Some guys just make up stuff and post it… the evidence for his slowness of thought is what exactly? BTW Song missed the second leg against barca with injury and he was far from our worst player in the 1st game so may be you need a trip to specsavers. Thinks too slowly… Ha!

  44. SomeRandomGunner

Hey DaleDaGunner, there you go at last i found somebody who is bold enough to say that Koscielny looks better than Vermaelen. I have been slated in the predominantly two kinds of blogs , both ACLF and Le-grove :D .

  45. DaleDaGooner

Ritesh…YOU ARE WRONG, and this is what winds me up about Geoff, Pedro and now you, SONGILINHO WAS NEVER IN THE GAME WHEN MESSI Raped Denilson, Diaby and Nasri for 4! i was testing you mate and you failed…we needed Song in that game, contrary to what you may believe.

  46. SomeRandomGunner

    Jacob,
It is true that both Song and Diaby were murdered by Barca, Denilson taught them how to play against Barca. Players who should not play against Barca are Song,Diaby,Arshavin. Acceptability in the same order.

On other note i watched quite a few Barca matches this season their defense looks worse than ours :D

  47. DaleDaGooner

@ Jacob..CORRECT SIR! Ritesh just made stuff up, and it back fired, Cesc is by far the slowest, but highly effective passer, PLUS poor Song was not even on the bench against Barca and in the first game, he was playing injured and we still managed to draw…so your point is mute.

@SomeRandom, yep I have balls to say that Koscielny has looked better than Verm..better one v one, better passer and on par reading…..

  48. zeus

Denilson is very important to this team. You can’t have Rooney, Ronaldo, Messi, Tevez and Zdane all in one team. Someone will have to benched and he won’t be happy.

Denilson is a quad player. He is under the radar and can be effective when he does get a game through injury and or fatigue to other players. Look at who is ahead of him. Song, Wilshere, Ramsay (when he comes back) Rosicky……….he knows he won’t get many opportunities.

Likewise, he knows that no other big side in Europe is gonna promise him playing time either so he is happy to be here and thats gr8 news to me.

  49. Gooby

    song deserves motm today imho!

i’d give him and 8.5 rating

    i feel some won’t agree…i am off!

    c’mon you gunners !!!!!

  50. Ben

Absolutely agree that Koscielny is an absolute gem of a player. His composure and interception is just brilliant. A “cesc” in the making in defence! :D

I know that he had some bad moments in some game but which defender doesn’t and i love the fact that he does not let these bad moments put him off his game but just get up and go on with the game.

The defining moment for me was when he got clattered in the head by Kevin davis and he still went in for a head moment later in the game and won it! Champion player!

Vermalaen is still the best Arsenal defender for me but Kozzer is very close behind.

  51. zeus

on the return of Jack Wilshere and Denilson’s form…
Denilson had three good games this week – he played the whole 90 minutes at Manchester City, the whole 90 minutes at Newcastle and he did quite well today because he defended very well at the moment everybody went forward. But Jack can play with Denilson, he can play with Song, I have good potential for rotation and don’t forget we have Diaby who can come back too.

on keeping three straight clean sheets…
That’s new, that’s new for me! A day where I don’t have to look on the television slow motion to see why we conceded a goal does not happen often so I am very happy with that.

  52. SomeRandomGunner

    @DaleDaGunner,
I feel Koscielny is much better already. Vermaelen has the special “Arsenal ball watching” ability which Koscielny does not have :P . Koscielny is also better in the air. Reading of the game and composure and the sense of danger of Koscielny is much ahead of Vermaelen.

Vermaelen has a wicked shot ,but passing wise they
are same or Koscielny will slightly edge out.

I am really really excited to be talking about a CD better than Vermaelen :D .

  53. jacob

SRG… I have to say that in the first half Barca pretty much gave us an attacking lesson at The Grove. It wasn’t just Song, Diaby and a half fit Arshavin but our entire defence as well. We were shredded in the first half and thaks to almunia we survived but it was just Song and diaby and whoever… second half the guys all stepped up. TBH I think that our team was scared at the outset that night.

On Denilson I really think that he is a fine player but he wasn’t at his sharpest today, it happens sometimes, no one plays well all the time. I think Song has the strength, the skill, the imagination and the guts to play against anyone Barca included… and the notion that he is a slow thinker is quite frankly garbage in my humble opinion. I have to say that I find it a strange thing for anyone to say as I see no evidence that Song thinks slowly… the way the guy improvises sometimes when he is in a tight spot gives a lie to the notion that he thinks slowly. I have to strongly disagree with that..

  54. DaleDaGooner

SomeRandom..yes Song, Cesc and Abou played and we played a draw, Denilson came in on the return leg for Song in the line up, and we got rapped, not blaming Denilson for it, but it cancels what ritesh stated that Song is not good for those types of games.

  55. Honest Bill

Great ball by Clichy at the end though no?

Maybe he learned how to cross? haha

And well done Song, keep that scoring form up and you’re golden.

Didn’t really see much of the game though as my stream was terrible, so i can’t give a review of the player’s performance. What i can tell you though, is that we have another 3 points and are keeping pace with Chelsea

    Get in..

  56. DaleDaGooner

How dare you say the second coming of Pele thinks slowly? His toe poke goal? his chip goal or this flying header today? He reacts the fastest in front of goal, and may i say his passes are crispier than Denislon’s…there, i said it! I like Denilson, but i think he is carying a back knock that has limited his movement. I do like Deni’s shots though, classic Brazilian, more of it is needed though. I think Deni needs to find his true role in the team..

  57. jacob

DaleDaGooner.. I have to confess that I found Ritesh’s comment to be rather bizarre. I think that Song needs to stop picking up silly yellow cards but I really don’t know why anyone would suggest that he is a slow thinker. Anyway good night all I have some errands to run and I shall run them with big smile on my face.

  58. ritesh

DDG, I was referring to the first 20 mins in the fist leg against Barca. Look at the stats, it was a miracle we drew that game.

As for Cesc being slow, I was not referring to that type of slow but rather mental reading of the game and positionning. Cesc thnks quicker than all our players excepy maybe Arshavin and RVP.

  59. SomeRandomGunner

    @Jacob, DaleDaGooner,
I was not talking about the goals , i do not really accept the idea of if some goal is conceded it is either DM’s fault or Keeper’s fault.
In the first leg Almunia saved our ass that is for sure. Also we were bit nervous and did not do simple things well which is keeping the ball , i do not think Arshavin can ever do it even Diaby too. May be Song i will accept that he can play.
Once Denilson came on we were able to keep the ball and keep Barca’s attack under control. The first 25 mins of first half was totally different than the next 20 mins. In both the matches we broke Barca’s defense, in the end it was about who can keep the ball.
I think our away leg was actually decent performance may be better than the home leg. The only difference in the end was Messi was quite in the home leg and in the away leg he scored all 4.

  60. DaleDaGooner

ritesh…THE WHOLE TEAM, including Cesc were jittery the first 20mins of that game, dar i say, Only Almunia seem to be calm, so to use that to judge his mental speed is off. He came back second half and tidied the midfield. On the return leg…please tell me about your statement, how Denilson thinks faster than Song and suits playing against Barca?? please do…

  61. gambon

Fucking hell here goes jacob whinging again, get a life mate.

Hopefully with Rambo coming back Denilson will be somewhat marginalised, he was awful today.

  62. DaleDaGooner

To each his own, if i had to play Barca again, Song would be in my team over Denilson, maybe both can play with Cesc, that is if i had to take Diaby or Denilson, funny enough, Diaby was by far better than Denilson in both legs.

  63. SomeRandomGunner

So if Ramsey comes back who you guys will choose for that 3rd midfielder spot (Song,Fabregas) Ramsey or Wilshere. I would go for Ramsey he is taller and stronger he is a great finisher and a two footer.
Please do not mention Diaby, my stance Diaby is similar to Jaguar, i believe we have a better chance of winning without him.

  64. ritesh

    Lets leave it there DDG.

Saw some news of Cesc having hamstring trouble on newsnow but the Wenger interview on BBC did not mention that.

Scott Parker and the Ref. ….. Are they neighbours or something???

    @DaleDaGooner
May be you are true about each on their own.
I feel Barca can very easily be opened up by attacking play. So I believe Against Barca we can win with 3 Denilsons in the midfield and win. I wonder why not many teams try it.

We need to beat Shaktar next…This way we can bag 12 points and basically sow up first place…..

Other teams can reach 12 but they would still have to make up a hell of a goal difference..

If we beat Shaktar we can play a team similar to what played against newcastle in the final 2 CL matches..enabling us to rest Fabregas…

With Fabregas’s injury record for the past couple years..we need to rest him as much as possible…

We could even play a team like this for the final 2 CL games if we beat Shaktar…

    …………………Szesney……………………
    Eastmond……..Nordveit……Djurou………Eboue
    …………Denilson/Lansbury…..Diaby/Wilsh…….
    …………………..Rosicky………………….
    ..JET………………Bendy……………….Vela

Ramsey can maybe get a game if he is back as well….

    Lukasz Fabianski1346
    5.5
His punching was about as convincing as a Carry On front man but dealt with the little that came his way well enough.

The shit kickers at goal.com are something else.

Fabianski did very well….in particular I remember him claiming a header from a corner. He chose not to come for it, just made sure he knew where the ball was going, read the header and claimed the ball.

I think with Big Al, we would have been 1 down.

Why do the cocks have Pavlyuchenko on the bench, why is Jenas starting? I thought Sandro was a shoe in after paying £14m plus arse licking of Internacional?

  70. Swedish Gun

Jacob and DDG…u really should pull your head out of Wengers ass

we will not win anything(bar mby the CC) with song, denilson and diaby in midfield

thats a fact so far and will prove me right

i like song most of the times but he is to slow and therefore makes silly fouls that will cost us
even the players admitted he is slow(in mind)

..and Fabianski in goal…plz…he will cost us points aswell.

  71. DaleDaGooner

Why do the “spuds” have Pavlyuchenko on the bench, why is Jenas starting? I thought Sandro was a shoe in after paying £14m plus arse licking of Internacional?

    Better? I’M awaiting moderation..he he

  72. DaleDaGooner

Swedish Gun, I don’t know whose ass you are sniffing, but whether he is slow minded or not, dude is proving you wrong, i did not say anything for Denilson or Diaby…you just came up and thought that was some pro-Wenger stuff? How about you take off your doom glasses and get with the realist, or go argue with some AKB’s..deal?

  73. DaleDaGooner

jeeze i thought Jaguar was the worst, i didn’t know there was someone far up his own arse in trying to wish us ill, spud agent alert

  74. DaleDaGooner

Jaguar, you are alright in my book, at least your beef is with Diaby, Swedish Balls here wants us to chuck the whole midfield.
