Monty Python, Life of Brian – ‘let he who has never sinned cast the first stone’ thwack! Muuuum!

by & filed under Uncategorized.

Remember that everyone? It was one of cinemas greatest takes, and the message was that we have all sinned so don’t be so quick to judge others when they have.

Good call and so true, I know I have sinned, but my sinning never broke the law, my sinning never hurt anyone, unless of course they deserved it, but Englands footballers keep doing it, you’ll have to trawl the whole team to find the good boys these days.

What I find appalling is they keep doing it, once is a mistake, but to keep doing it and then say it’s a private matter when they are beacons to our youth is just plain wrong, when these guys have so much, the world at their feet, it really is ‘I can do what I want because I’m a footballer’ No wonder we have so many wrong ‘uns in the country today.

I don’t know if what Jack is accused of is true, he hasn’t said a word, but if the picture with his mobile is true, then it’s naughty, but more of a boyish prank, no one got hurt, and I hope he got a real bollocking from both his parents and his manager, but what he did wasn’t as bad as what his England team mates have done, the line is endless, Rooney, twice, Terry, Gerrard, Cole, no wonder the younger players think bad behaviour is acceptable, thank god that Jack has been outed early, now perhaps he can get on with the serious business of football.

How can the players learn when their own ex-manager Sven was a serial bad boy, when the FA boss Palios was sharing a bird with that same man, we need to add ethics to their training, to let them know that what they do is unacceptable. They need to add fidelity and good manners to their ‘kick racism out of football’ mantra.

Ok lesson in social behaviour over, Arsene, time to crack down, time to add manners, social acceptance, crossing, defending and goal keeping to the curriculum.

Ryo Miyaichi is the latest teen sensation to join our young 63 strong group of under 21′s, he could have joined us or Ajax, he said it was a tough decision, he chose to join us to play football, but he went to them for the broken leg. I hope this kid is good and it’s not a cynical ploy to gain interest and shirt sales in Japan. If he is a really good winger, then maybe he can be our very own Eden Hazard, time will tell.

You may or may not be surprised to hear I didn’t get any form of response to the questions I asked the management yesterday, ho hum, was I really expecting one? Maybe I should just arrive at the Q&A and blurt them out, they don’t know who I am, they sure would if I did though, wouldn’t they!

Well England play tonight, I wonder if Johan will be playing? That would be interesting, and if he plays, will he be a centre back or a defensive midfielder? We’ll find out soon enough and once that’s over, we can all look forward to welcoming Owen Coyle and we can set Jack Wilshere loose on them, I’m looking forward to that!

Reports suggest we are about to raid Barcelona’s youth ranks and snap up Oriol Romeu, the defensive midfielder that will struggle to get playing time now they signed Mascharano, what makes us think he’ll get playing time with us? He’ll be behind Denilson, Song and Diaby and bringing him in will kill Eastmond and Frimpong, when fit.

Whilst it would be justice, I think we ought to have learned that bringing in players with Barca DNA is not a smart move, bringing in players with Spanish DNA is not so smart either, look at Merida and Almunia, get my drift! No, I have nothing against Spanish players but we’re not having the greatest time with them are we.

I mentioned the amount of French players and how it worried me, not because they are french, but my fear of cliques, Koscielny said yesterday that because we had so many french players, he feels at home and settled in quickly, so the ying and the yang there.

Anyway, not to long to go now, so grit your teeth and watch England tonight, we could have a number of players on show, Walcott, Gibbs and Djourou, what a shame the boss didn’t listen to my plea of 2 years ago, we could have had Hart, for me the most improved player of the last 10 years, a proper improvement.

Hopefully Jack will be back to face Lithuania tomorrow, though why he’s not in the big boys side is beyond me.

Have a great day grovers, it’s getting closer!

Are we rebranding the Ro sick list?

    Broken Glass list
    Walkout list

Its usually the same suspects. A pity for Walcott though, he was in the form of his life.

  2. Keyser

Ramsey’s coming back, same wth Bendtner and Nasri, Djourou’s barely played, and Squillaci’s probably not match fit or Denilson.

Not soo bad, depending on how badly injured Theo is and whether they can stay fit once they recover.

  3. alex

Theos injury looks like RVPs last season, which means 3-4 months. Hopefully not though.

Reserves- winning 4-3, JET. Afobe and Aneke both excellent tonight.

I wouldn’t have fletcher anywhere near my team. He’s a useless scottish cunt. Put him in bolton and see how good he really is. He’a fucking wanker. manu fans are generally wankers too. Especially when they say rooney isn’t a cheating, diving, granny shagging piece if dogshit

    Comment of the day :D

  5. chris

one of the blackburn goals was a screamer (apparently), the other two could be said as mistakes by djourou (going by the text updates on arse.com)

  6. incesc

its funny how after 3 games rvp and theo are injured again to go with denilson and nasri.

    diaby next anyone?

its too early for a cesc injury isnt it?

  7. incesc

almunia to get a sore throat soon?

rosicky to get fucked for 2 years…

soon the team will have denilson song and eboue in midfield, at least we wont have silvestre

  8. gambon

Aneke could be a good player in the future. Hes a proper number 10, but an absolute beast, which is something Jack will never be, unless we’re talking upskirt Photo taking, which he excels at.

  9. arsenal4ever

ok not all Wengers fault but why giving RVP that long contract if he cant be injury free for 1 fukking season? Also selling Dudu and didnt buy a replacement was a mistake. So sad for Theo!!! Yes, we should have bought Stekelenburg. Will be an interesting Q&A session for Mr. Wenger. He needs a lot to explain!!!

  10. alex

I wouldn’t believe those slags about jack, just want their name in the paper

jack changed the game for u21s today when he came on

  11. Keyser

Can’t believe it, Johnsons’s already eclipsed everything Walcotts done in like 4 years, and what is he like 18 or 19 ?, Shocking.

  12. Zorr0

Spain getting punked by the Argies; 2 almost identical goals, shocking defending, no Puyol, Ramos or Marchena(!) though.

  13. Stu

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 3-0 3-0 3-0 3-0 3-0

Tevez scores after a reina mistake. Take that you spanish cunts.
Now take Cesc of Del Box.

  14. Keyser

Stu – How bad was the mistake ? Just switched over to the England game, missed all 3 goals now.

Heh, was just taking the piss with the Johnson thing.

Argentina could properly spank them here.

  15. Gunnernet

Usually DDG a sprained ankle takes at least 2-3 weeks to heal and counting the fact how fragile Theo is i would say he is 4 weeks out. I hope he will come back at time to find his form again for Chelski game.

  16. Zorr0

Reina slipped over as he was about to fly kick a back pass, Tevez steamed in and put it in.

Argeie just got poleaxed by exocet shot, only Heinze so no worries! Spain hit woodwork twice.

  17. Stu

Keyser, the right back rolled the ball back to Reina, he went to kick it with his left foot but his right foot slipped as he planted it and he fell over. Tevez was about 10 yards further away from the ball but won the race and slid to score just inside the post.

  18. DaleDaGooner

Gunnernet, that’s why I said 3 weeks then, on a hopeful side, I mean Nasri was supposed to be out for a far worse injury, lets hope Feo can come back on form in time.

  19. Stu

Well Reina cant really be blamed for the beach ball but todays fuck up does fit with the one against us and when he threw the ball onto Johnsons head in the merseyside Derby a few years ago.

  20. Gunnernet

I only hope Marouane stay fit for the Chelski game, i dont want to see Arshavin start at CF again, we will be hammered once more. Don’t judge me, but i dont want to see Chamakh start vs the spuds. He is the only real striker in the team right know, i dont want to see him out due to CC game..

  21. Keyser

I think he should, he was the one that lobbed it against the advertising hoarding, he could have placed it over the side, behind the goal anywhere, he could have sat on it for the rest of the half.

    Very poor keeping.

  22. Gunnernet

Who do u think will start vs Bolton at Saturday? Arshavin – Chamakh – Rosicky the favorite trio, but i can see Eboue start at right wing too in order to be more physical. There is no doubt that Theo would have an electric home game again, but i hope we will get the 3 points. Vela any chance with Andrei at right wing?

  23. chris

“Gael Clichy whipped in a wonderful low cross to Benzema, who trapped the ball before shimmying to his left and releasing a shot that Hasagic never had a chance with”

    WHAAAAA?

  24. Gunnernet

Alex he played only at weekend. I think there is no game for Mexico midweek. But he was bad at that game. He was booed by the fans of his former team Chivas also.

  25. Gunnernet

he was booed because he said that his former club Chivas dint offer him anything. The game was a friendly i think and was arranged at Chivas ‘s stadium. The pitch was terrible, but he did miss 2 or 3 good chances i think.

  26. SFOGooner

    according to bbc
“He was taken straight to hospital in Basle for an X-ray on his right ankle.

England manager Fabio Capello described the injury as “a little problem” but could not confirm its nature. ”

    why the suspense?

  27. Gunnernet

Oh tht’s good news SFOg..Lets hope he will be back as soon as possible. It seemed pretty nasty in a photo i saw earlier.

  28. gnarleygeorge9

“Ask me any question as long as I like it.”

What is the difference between the Arsenal Q & A, & Le Grove of now? Well these days I’d have to say very little. Arsene Wenger, apparently, surrounds himself with yes men, & so now does Le Grove. This place has become a sanctuary for Wenger haters. A collection of all the misfits that have been banned from other Arsenal blogs, who spew out crap at will at anyone who may have a differing opinion.

The same old anti Wenger chants are boring. Sorry Pedro/Geoff, but this blog needs to clean out the crap more than The Arsenal F C needs to get rid of Arsene Wenger.

  29. Keyser

    Stu – Good point.

Also Clichy and Sagna are both decent at crossing, but generally when they have thefredom to get in behind the defence, they’re just not good enough to pick out players with pin point crosses.

It doesn’t help that we don’t commit too many people to the 6 yard box either.

  30. Keyser

Pinpoint crosses from in front of the defence, that isn’t realy a problem because we have other players who cna do that.

  31. Keyser

Stu – Yes, good, I know how you can get carried away with praise, I think you need to keep your feet firmly on the ground.

You have a very promising future though, you could be presenting MatchoftheDay2 soon enough.

  32. Keyser

“After the break, Walcott’s replacement Adam Johnson confidently slotted home England’s second before Xherdan Shaqiri blasted in from long-range to give the home side hope.”

BBC confirms the BREAK, sad news for Walcott.

  33. Gunnernet

Adam Johnson is really an exciting prospect to watch. It wasn’t a surprise that Arsene wanted him last summer. Too bad for us and for him to play at a team where money talks.

  34. Gunnernet

I think gambon he admited that he liked him in the past when we were linked with him but there was no chance City giving us him. They didnt give us their second choice keeper on loan..

  35. gambon

    Gunnernet

Youre probably thinking of Michael Johnson, who we were linked with during the Sinwatra reign.

    Hes a crock though.

  36. arsenal4ever

serious question. Do you guys think will be injury free after this one? I dont think so :-( !!

    Alternatives for him?

  37. Keyser

choy – It’s like when you post a letter or send off for a parcel in the post, it was 10 Working Days for Van Persie.

  38. zeus

OH FFS! Now Theo is Fooked too. We need to move destroy all theshit we built up at Highbury and move back.

Either that or get a fooking exorcist. This is a bad joke now.

  39. Buddy

Yep, Pepe not only were you mugged off for the first 2, you mugged yourself off for the 3rd.

    That’s the curse of Arsenal!

  40. AA23

Van persie fucked, Theo fucked, Bendtner Fucked, Nasri fucked, Cesc fucked off, Wenger fucked with where to keep all that hard cold cash
    me fucked
what the fuck is going on?
Might have to fuck this whole thing off, just doesn’t feel worth it any more.
Same fucking thing every season, we start off on shit street before the seasons even got going.
    I fucking hate it.
Pile of shit being Arsenal now.

  41. zeus

    AA23

Hahahahahahahahaha. Wenger should’ve cut his losses with some of these injury prone players a long time ago.

League barley 3 games old and we are top of the injury league by a mile already.

  42. cesc rule

aa23 – i admire the fuckin.ffs.haha..well the prob with our squad..we lack of dept in most of area..our injury list is like fuckin long..and we have no replacement since most of oue players are injured..wenger should forseen itt..and should have plan b ffs..instead..he has noneeee

  43. dennisdamenace

    Question for you all.

What is the fucking point to Robin Van Persie?

An ankle twist/knock turns into an injury break until mid-October.

If, on his limited appearances, he was helping the team to win things maybe, just maybe it makes sense, but we’ve won fuckall for five years and counting. He is fast becomin the ultimate luxury player. The trouble is we have a number of these types of players at the club, and at the end of the season we’ll hear how unluck we were yet again with injuries. Trouble is they are the same players every fucking year, has the penny dropped yet Arsene……

  44. dennisdamenace

How can any manager plan a season long campaign and rely on players such as RvP, TR07 etc…… AW’s built this team, and backed himself in a corner with his attitude/policies.

He goes into the season knowing full well that RvP & Co are likely to spend just as much time injured as available, but he plods along doing nothing to rectify the situation, much like doing nothing about the Goalkeeper situation.

What any decent manager would do would be to keep RvP, but make him a backup to another top flight player, not make him the cornerstone of you attack. But, hey that would mean the Book Keeper spending money on a proven talent, huh someone who might actually make us win something, God forbid!!

  45. MickyDidIt89

    DDM,
I am utterly sick to death of RVP’s injuries, or rather the lack of planning. Lets have him as a luxury player then. I said mant times on here over the summer that we needed a world class striker and that we were effectively taking a massive risk by putting so many eggs into Chamakh’s basket. But oh no, we don’t need a striker. DM this and DM that. Fucks sake, anyone who knows even the smallest amount obout Arsenal knows hoe we have lacked another 20 goal a season man.
    Shit bollocks shit for brains.

  46. dennisdamenace

Micky – It’s wholly unfair on players like Chamakthenkife to take the burden of leading the line so early in his career with us. Likewise, and i’n no real fan, but the way Bentner had to and was rushed back too early to cover for yet more injuries last year is also unfair.

In fact it’s fucking laughable that a club with our financial resources gets mugged off by too many injuries yet again!

This is no longer bad luck, this is bad management and bad planning by Wenger.

  47. dennisdamenace

On the face of it AW appears more interested in tippy tappy players who can play his style of football, rather than actually doing a job.

Like Centrebacks who can play the ball around, but struggle with high, direct balls into the penalty area. Buy a defender who can defend ffs. I remember George Graham once saying that he buys a defender to defend, if he scores a goal or crosses a ball for a gaol then that is a bonus. AW’s philosophy appears to be the exact opposite.

Like forwards who link up play and play a psuedo wingers. Hey, why not buy a CF who actually wants to play CF and score 20+ league goals!!

Like midfielders who are only interested in pretty patterns in midfield, who up their Opta ratings by make 50 two yard passes, but ultimately never hurt the opposition or take the game to the opposition.

Their is no balance to AW’s teams anymore. We’re crying out for too much improvement. a Goalkeeper, a dominating even thugish Centre Back, a strong tackling defensive midfielder who doesn’t get bullied by the also rans of the Premiership, a Centree Forward who plays Centre Forward and scores 20_ goals, and for me a winger, a proper winger who gets in behind defenses, takes full backs on and generally adds balance and another attacking dimention to our pass pass pass pass pass football……..

It’s never going to happen under Wenger though, he’s left the first team as a training team for far too long. The investment to rectify the problems is now too great for him to even contemplate…..

  48. MickyDidIt89

    DDM,
I got slated for suggesting what we needed more than a DM was a Milner/Hazard/Bellamy and a proven CF.
    Agree on the GK.
The argument runs that we score enough and concede too many. I ask this. If against Utd at home, we had a striker up top instead of AA and we had scored two first, would we have taken the three points?

  49. dennisdamenace

It’s always stop gaps with AW lately, and his with his followers it always excuse after excuse.

If we score enough goals how is it we don’t win anything then?

We’re definitely letting in too many, BUT we are also not scoring enough.

How many times do we batter the opposition and draw 1-1? So, where does the problem ly there then, letting in too many goals or an attack that isn’t prolific enough??

  50. MickyDidIt89

I give you two options. Last season’s squad, only:
    Option A: Essien for Denilson.
    Option B: Drogba for RVP.
    Easy isn’t it.

  51. incesc

    RVP is utterly useless.

I said we needed a striker in the summer, one more injury and we are fucked, if we arent already.

  52. MickyDidIt89

    SIG,
Oh dear. Not my point, and no, it is not better. We are desparately short of a proven goalscorer. I exclude RVP from my calculations and that leaves Chamakh and Bendy. Hardly terrifying.

  53. dennisdamenace

For Diaby & Denilson read Mediocrity & Mediocrity…..

And, that my friends is why we win nothing, because people still believe players like these to be good enough.

These players have delivered nothing to us, and Denilson for instance has been wih us for four years, FOUR years people.

Will mediocrity like him be marginalised by players like Jacky Boy or our Welsh crock?

  54. MickyDidIt89

Right, off to the office for a meeting with the only man who can genuinely put the shits up me. My accountant. Half a sleeping pill in his first coffee usually takes the edge off things.

  55. dennisdamenace

MDI89 – Did you see the article/interview with the Denmark coach who said Bentner would be out until the New Year.

So, right now, for the game against Bolton we have Chamahktheknife and Vela as forward options.

No RvP (again), no Bentner (again) and no Theo (again). So, poor old MC will have the burden of playing up front on his own (probably) with maybe AA23 and Vela in support……

For me Vela is our very own Berbatov, only ever scores the fourth goal, when the game is won and there’s no pressure on him. I’m a big fan of this fella, but he’s another who’s done very little to warrant a first team status.
