City are a bigger club says Ade-the-whore, John Lukic speaks, and everything in the garden looks Rosey!

by & filed under Uncategorized.

So Togo twit Adebayor says that Man Shitty are a bigger club than Arsenal, hmmm, so why do they live in a council house then you dimwit?

People often forget that after the Commonwealth games that City rented the council stadium and moved out of Maine Road, so it’s much easier to do what they want without having to pay for a stadium. Plus they sold their arses to a rich Arab for a glass of mint tea and a lamb Kebab.

Unlike us of course, that had to spend £350mil on out new stadium, still that debt has almost gone and we will soon be buying players for fun. Not that we need them as our team will win the EPL and ECL this season without spending money, you ask the boss.

John Lukic entered the goal keeping fray today and said we needed a top class keeper as we wouldn’t achieve silverware without one, he suggested Reina, Valdes or Julio Cesar as great options for us, but that won’t happen as we have Almunia and Fabianski, and for all you doubting Thomas’s out there beware, Almunia will be the keeper we wanted and we save a shedload of money. And if for some reason Almunia has an off day or is injured, then in will step Fabianski, Poland’s number one, or he soon will be.

We are almost sorted out at the back now, we have just bought Squillaci, not that I know much about him, but the boss does, and as no one else was trying to buy him I suspect we have unearthed another gem in the Koscielny mode, Djourou should stay uninjured this season (for some strange reason) and I believe that Sagna and Clichy have been having crossing lessons and extra training, defensive lessons will take place during the course of the season.

We managed to get 2 games out of Robin this season before his first injury and although Holland got a whole world cup out of him, fear not, because we have Nikki Bendtner waiting in the wings, once of course he recovers from his groin operation.

I was getting really excited watching Frimpong this season, until he got injured, but I wasn’t too bothered as we had Denilson as back up, once he gets over his injury.

At least Song and Diaby are now fit, I’m not sure if either are DM’s though, as the boss has Song down as a centre back and Diaby seems to be playing as an attacking one.

Diaby on form for me is a thing of beauty, I hope he plays more on form than not because when he’s not up for it, he seems to give the ball away a lot.

Still we are second in the league and haven’t been beaten yet and considering we have played two teams from the Northwest, that is some achievement, I just hope we play a strong side against the spuds and that Arsene realises how much beating them means to us, Arsene, we gain nothing from losing, put out a side that can at least get a replay, that much you owe the fans.

In truth we won’t really know if we are ready to challenge until we play the chavs, and that will happen soon enough, I believe we now have a couple of centre backs that can out bully an ageing Drogba. Terry and Lumphard are getting on a bit and if we can have a few more first time shots then who knows eh? Maybe Arsene, in fact maybe Arsene Knows Best!

See if anyone gets that.

Not a lot to talk about today other than Wayne Rooney’s private life, so have fun Grovers, fill your boots, everything in the Arsenal garden is rosey!

No I don’t think everybody in any faith agrees totally. it depends where you live and how you were brought up, what values you are keen on and the ones you are not.

People here generally are quite liberal, they like to have a laugh and trade their opinions freely -

And whilst it is true that some religious people like to give their own a certain advantage and belittle the others – this is the PERSON not the faith, so we should not generalise it to the entire faith.

And to be honest that is over with now, it has nothing to do with Arsenal.

    If you still need to discuss religion I suggest for the sake of the blog you pick it up with the individual concerned over private email or something;

ARSENAL is what we want to discuss not politics religion and all that stuff – this is a football blog incase you have forgotten my friend :) Nobody here is racist we are all on the same side as gooners

  2. Common Sensei

    READ THE UNTOLD COMMENTS you are asking for something that is THERE ALREADY. After spending so long connecting the two groups and helping sort the differences I am getting slightly irritated that all you can add to it – is finger pointing and demands for stupid apologies that mean nothing;

Stop acting like a little child Sabeel really it is very very stupid. We KNOW you are not a racist or anybody else here AS IT SAYS ON UNTOLD.

You should learn to have a bit more tolerance, as you are not exactly white as white yourself are you??

And even if you were – you assume that you will never mistakenly say something that offends another.

Please use your mind here – read through it all like I said and you will understand that you are barking up a tree on the wrong damn planet.

END OF THAT anybody actually interested in talking about football now??

  3. A.F.C Lambo

    Arse&nose Spot on mate.
Common ive read your com from earlier .You came on here to start trouble ,you thought you would get the backing . Did you? NO NO NO. So you changed your tune after Pedro and Geoff told you how it was on .

  4. leon

well i dont care if giggs and scholesplays for manu these players legends both 35-36 dont qyite have the legs but i still have tons of class and skill to spare niethor of these players have agents either wich todays age is on head of ade could learn alot fromplayers like this in loyalty and repect something he willnever have

  5. Common Sensei

AFC misses the point. That argument is over, we were all happily discussing football before you reignited the whole thing.

I couldn’t care for ‘backing’ I am not a politician I am an ARSENAL FAN which is why I want to talk about FOOTBALL and not waste any further time on this non issue.

And I changed my tune only when everybody started talking in a positive fashion and trying to understand where I was coming from.

Pedro and Geoff are both cool in my eyes now, as is everybody else on here. YOu could be too if you would shut up for second :) Honestly mate you are totally wrong about me wanting some kind of populist support, I am not the prime minister why would I care??

I want everybody to get along so I can surf in peace!

  6. Common Sensei

    @Leon

Yes that’s kind of what I was trying to say – I am a not so conceited as to hate on good players who respect the sport and carry it’s positive value just because they wear the shirt of United.

Giggsy is a ledge, Scholes is a bit psycho but I guess he is not too bad either as things go. Tony Adams would have kicked his arse anyway :)

  7. Arse&Nose©

Common sensie -”I am not the prime minister ”

    you sure about that?

you’ve been trying to dictate what we talk about for the last 30 minutes!!

    1) i once again feel letdown by Arsenal FC Private Limited…

    2) i have to Pray for Some mircales if we are to win any trophy and hold onto our stars..becos this season like earlier seasons will fly by..

  9. pantsR2long

Common Sensei- You say you want to move on and talk about football but you keeps biting the bait and going back to the whole racism issue. Just ignore those who re-ignite it and move on and do what you have said you want to do which is talk about football.

  10. ritesh

hmmm…my 5 cents to the “debate or argument”

I studied history of civilisations as part of my Phd and what is important is that Man has always lived in different groups/societies/countries and each such group has a common factor (not necessarily religion) which differentiates him. The weight of that common factor is different among various groups; i.e., religion for one society may not mean the same thing for one group as compared to another (as shown in the comment of A&N)

Therefore, it is good to be aware of this fact. Unfortunately this is not always the case in all societies (Example, a Danish studient studies 60 hours a week as compared to around 30/35 hours for students in Luxemburg/U.S/UK). You are therefore bound to be more exposed to less knowledgeable comments in such societies. To believe that there is a common society with a common set of rules is a common mistake ;-)

Having said that, Stuart Pearce is an cunt for dropping JW ;-)

And am a fuking football manger ;-)

And JW is a stupid photographer ;-)

  11. Common Sensei

    @Arse&Nose

Sorry you feel that way – I just spent a day killing off the arguing so we could all talk about footy that’s all. Kind of annoyed me how just when it was all good you started saying I was trying to kick up a fight!? :) hehe no I am not.

Anyway, apart from the obvious I am reasonably happy with the transfers we have made. I am guessing you wanted to see a new keeper – and honestly I wouldn’t have argued if one had arrived.

But since no GK was forthcoming, and Almunia is playing well/ Our defence is looking a bit more solid and we have a a draw and 2 wins …. Yeah I am happy enough.

Time will tell if the optimism is realistic.

How about you A&N what are your thoughts on our transfer dealings?

    Hope u got my point..

  13. Common Sensei

    @PantsR2Long

Yeah enough has gotta be enough!

On the GK front, I have been buzzing since the end of last season when Arsene had shown interest in signing Joe Hart; and this interest seemed to continue in the off season, with Arsenal.com putting an article on Tranfer Listed with him in it.

After I realised City would not sell – I had the whole angry disappointed bit too. He would have been fucking spot on!

But as soon as I realised we weren’t getting Hart – All these others I don’t particulary rate …. Schwarzer, Given, all the other ones in my head are not hugely different from Almunia when he is in form and behind a rock solid defence.

  14. Common Sensei

@Sabeel if you wish to continue this I would prefer to do it over email or msn ….. which is it to be because I am not willing to highjack any more time on here

  15. Dan,The Gooner.

yeah everthings just great at arsenal there’s nothing wrong with the team/manager,the quads on lads, almunia for ballon d’or.

  16. Common Sensei

    Dan mate -

I realise you are being a tad sarcastic here ….. so I assume you are less than happy with the state of the squad.

OK so let’s discuss our differences in opinion. First of all, what problems do you have with the squad so far.

I would find it very useful if you could also suggest ways to fix these problems, for instance if it is a goalkeeper we need please suggest one we could get that would improve us.

I understand not everybody sees things my way, so let me understand your point of view the way I do my own – what is your measured opinion on the squad so far?

  17. Dan,The Gooner.

common sensei, your talking complete and utter bollocks,i thought i would tell you this, you should just stop commenting on here now and go back to untold arsenal where you are in good company.

  18. Common Sensei

Can you explain yourself for a change??

Hardly convincing if you can’t even back your point up with anything concrete

Sounds like you need a deep breath and a biscuit mate :) Lol chill out just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean I talk bollocks.

If you can show me my fault I will happily admit

It ain’t defeat it wasn’t a fucking battle. OK actually I can admit to defeat – I was SURE that underneath all this agro-vibe arrogance there was a good point.

But I keep asking you for it and all you can come back with is cack.

Correct me if I am wrong?

Fuck it you are the only person on here who can’t hold a civil conversation

  21. Common Sensei

You obviously haven’t got a scooby, so all you can do is refuse to explain yourself and run away zzzzzzzzzz

Maybe it is you that is admitting defeat before eearly beddy time at 7pm tut tut

  22. Common Sensei

I agree with you regarding the fact that by contrast Arsenal seem like good lads. Robin’s wild days are far behind him and he seems like a really nice family man. Arshavin dotes on his kid and seemingly defers to Julia (despite his chauvinistic exterior).

That said, there are still stories that come out, JET crashing his big car last year, Bendtner’s drunken flashing (which I don’t really count as an issue frankly, and recently the lady who had her arm broken in the Wilshere incident claimed he was trying to take upskirt photos of her in the club, and that he was drinking but not drunk.

The latter worries me, if only because, at least on the pitch, Wilshere seems to be barely in control of himself. That disgusting website, Le Grove tried to paint the woman as the instigator (basically she was asking for it because she wore a short skirt) which is disgusting.

  27. Doublegooner

    Marzouca:

Ive read their site today. I’ll reserve my opinions, but I’m sure you can work out my thoughts.

It’s lovely that they criticise that bad man Geoff for saying the old trollop was asking for it. Its all a bit of fun & anyway mybe they thought she was a lovely well brought up girl who just went to the press with her story as she was so so upset as ‘nice’ girls just dont follow footballers around !!

As it happens, Jacky boy will need a bit of looking after so he’s kept in check.

  28. Random Poster

    Common Sensei.

Sorry if it seems like I’m agreeing with Spectrum in the name of ganging-up but I too have serious doubts as to your sincerity. The sudden change of tone reeks of someone ‘dumbing down’ in some form of attempt of a pisstake. Geniune apologies if not and from a regular reader, rare-poster point of view it’s good to see healthy debate.

My reasoned opinion on Arsenal is that as a group of fans we’ve been carefully managed into accepting third or fourth best in most respects. I think five years in football is a more than fair period for Wenger to have been given the benefit of the doubt. I think the question now should be what has Wenger done in the recent times for him to be in his job for the next three years rather than for people to justify why he needs to go. We can debate all day long abut which players we like, transfers and stats etc but when all said and done at Arsenal’s end of the market judgement day comes in the form of trophies. Sadly we don’t look like winning one of note anytime soon (my opinion I know).

For the past two years Wenger has said ‘judge me in May’. I did and I wasn’t happy. I don’t have childish expectation of trophies every year but not genuinely competing for one is a worry. Arsenal completely upped the ante moving stadium and scaling-up in general (prices included). Unfortunately the upside of expansion is being exclusively enjoyed by few when it could be enjoyed by many in the form of real first team quality and competition for trophies.

Hope that wasn’t too long and rambling, it’s the reason I don’t usually post. Felt quite compelled to today though.

  29. Common Sensei

Nah I just don’t appreciate the lack of manners.

If somebody says my view is bullshit in those words – fine I want to hear why.

If rather than say why they prefer to get personal and offensive then in my book they are talking shite.

That’s just common sense …. it isn’t about views or debates it’s how you prove a point.

Say the point. Justify the point.

To be honest 99.9% of posters on here were fucking sound and I got on with them; it is just the few that get offensive then fail to justify it that piss me off to the extreme where I feel like I actually should avoid this site.

Which is a great shame because like I said in the mainstay it’s good. Anyway I feel like I am wasting my good intentions and effort here, the two of them who just want to ‘win the argument’ which they actualy created are just wasting my time.

I wasn’t looking to ‘win’ I wanted to share and discuss opinion – fortunately there are other sites where people are not quite so volatile and quick to kick off. It’s an older crowd you see.

Anyway i’m off now, sorry for those who I offended earlier then made peace with – the are alll cool.

And to the two who just couldn’t bring themselves to talk sense I will not miss your contribution of fuck all :) I have kids of my own if I need to have petty squabbles!

Totally in agreement with everybody on here who has bothered to justify their view I don’t care if we win either, it is the manner in which we compete which makes me swell with pride.
Buying a trophy is easy and worthless because it is not for the players it is for the board and the owners.
Arsenal when they DO manage to win the league again will be TOTALLY SURE that they did not walk into a shop and buy the thing – we actually spent years building up a squad and players capable of taking those bunch of shit-lickers to the cleaners and proving that cheating isn’t winning.
When Arsenal win the league, morality will win it also And the football lovers across the nation will rejoice. The pundits will crow, the fans will bow to it.

Jordan is Romelu`s brother and 15 year old. It is said a deal for both is pretty much on the cards. Tough it was from an italian source so could all be bollocks. Waiting for youngguns coming out with this so it is reliable.

  38. arsenal4ever

so CS was still there, lol? He pretty much loves LG now IMO :-) . Wenger had time and time again and I am sick of patience! He was one of the best but there is a time for changing and thats now. He lies constantly and this is not helpful at all. Hope next manager wont be that stubborn and buys proper class mixed with outstanding youth quality we already have.

  39. kev

id say it is all bollocks – didnt lukkaku say he wanted a move to chelsea cause drogbas his hero? real madrid were after him too. hes a first teamer at anderlecht getting great experience and scoring goals – he wouldnt be anywhere near the first team here hed be fourth choice at least

  40. kev

agreed. 5 or 6 years is more than enough time to fix weak areas in the team. most other sides can do it in one or two transfer windows

  41. arsenal4ever

but kev to see some postives we are not on the way down like liverfool, lol!! But again I dont fukking care for other clubs. I love Arsenal thats it!

  42. kev

yeah its great that were a well run club but at the same time a good keeper isnt gonna break the bank! theres loads of positives of course but at the moment theyre all being overshadowed by wenger being so stubborn. predictions for bolton? i think itll be similar to blackburn – 2-1 again maybe

  43. Stu

A new fucking left back? We already have Clichy, Gibbs, Traore and Pedro for there. Why the fuck are we after another one. Those 4 could all be a first choice for at least another 10 years.

  44. arsenal4ever

stu lukaku is 15 so not to mention at all at the moment and Traore will be sold after his loan spell!! Pedro will be used more as a left winger imo.

  45. Stu

Even so A4E, Gibbs will be first choice left back for at least the next 10 years (if things go well) so whats the point of going for another left back? By the time Gibbs (assuming he is first choice then) retires or leaves us (let say at 30) im sure we would have produced out own left back through the academy (the whole way).

  46. Stu

Why plan for 5 years down the road (when Lukaku is 20 and ready for first team football)? Its the present that counts. How about having a left back that doesnt make goal costing mistakes before we worry about his replacements eventual replacement ffs!

  47. Stu

Well we’re not gonna be buying both of them surely. Its just the younger one we’re after. And even if its for the youth team i still dont see he point in it. Gibbs is only 20…we dont need another youth left back really.

ANyway, moving on..just read that Theo said he stays behind after training to improve. Gotta say im impressed with his determination. Its obviously been helping so far this season. Lets hope he keeps this form going.

  48. Dan,The Gooner.

i hope geoff or pedro get stuck into them cunts from untold bollocks tomorrow, how dare they attack le grove the way they have,it’s bang out of order,so geoff or pedro give them cunts plenty of stick, they deserve it,like that cunt wengker deserves all the stick he is getting,p.s we need more english players and less french players in the team…….

  49. Ozgoona

Killer hey when did adebeyor score for man city in epl last? And when does he ever make any sense when he talks? Bafoon. Can’t let go of the fact he was ousted a disgraced player and taunted by his own fans. He may never play in a world cup he will never be as big as any of the other signings city have made and he will never be remembered as anything other than a waste of money. Adebeyor maybe your mum ain’t a hore but now you are for sure and even if you became a junkie you would find it hard to score.

  50. Socrates

Morning, le grove sure is getting political, cant believe the number of converstions that go on on other sites about grovers and the authors, must be the number of comments on here that unsettles people, kinda miss the good ol’ days when all that mattered was football and the arse

  51. Socrates

Feel like i watched arsenal play 2 months ago, really hate these internationals, so just to get in the mood…

    Almunia

    Sagan-Kozzer-Vermy-Clichy

    Diaby – Song
    Cesc
    Walcott- Chamakh- Arsh

Sub: Rosicky, Eboue, Vela, RVP, the Squid ,Flappy,

have to say the bench has never looked stronger…

  52. Socrates

Speaking of depth, the team that faces the scum will have to be strong as many players would not get playing time with the lack of injuries we have at the moment:
    Flappy

    Eboue-JD-Sqid-Gibbs

    Jack-Denilson-Rosicky

    Nasri-Chamakh-Vela

Thats a reasonably strong team imo

  53. Thierry Henry is god

Considering that we have one fit first team striker I’d think twice about playing him.

Even though we want to field a strong team for the Carling Cup we’ve got a lack of depth in that position atm.

  54. Thierry Henry is god

    Will do Geoff,

I’m nervously looking forward to see an end to the international break and I really hope we won’t have an injured Chamakh, considering that he is the most important player to keep fit atm.

  55. Jaguar reloaded

Folks,I am refraining myself from abusing Wenger because I dont want attention seeking AKB retards like Shitwood to write a post about Le Grove to draw more than 10 comments a day.

  56. Socrates

Never looked stronger in terms of the squad as a whole for the last 2 seasons, I know Flappy is the weakest link but thats what the manager will select for the bench

  57. Jaguar reloaded

Socrates.Almunia is the weakest link and will probably drop a few points, and we are already into bare bones,w.r.t strikers.

Bendtner wont be playing before January, and RVP will get his annual share of injuries soon.If Chamakh gets injured our season will be over by October.

That skinny bastard Kolsieny was outmusced by a fucking Diouf.Fuller and Drogba are going to toy with him.

  58. Thierry Henry is god

    Jag

I don’t agree with Kocielny, even if you claim he was outmuscled I can’t say he was outplayed except for the Blackburn goal which was more a bad defensive team effort.

As for RVP, now that his ankle injury is back he will be gone for the remaining of the season, mark my words.

Bendtner won’t be back until january, so basically we’re back to the situation we had last season on the striker front, except that we now do have Chamakh. Problem is that he is already tired by the English game, so he’ll need to be rotated at some point or another, which means that we’re fucked.

  59. Socrates

Al is better than Flappy, not tongue in cheek stuff but he looked good in the first 3 games of the season and handled himself well against Blackburn with their one dimensional attack style.

Drogba makes minced meat of most defences and putting up handling Drogba as a litmus test is unfair on Kozzer

  60. Socrates

And you know this from your extensive research on body weight of premiership defenders combined with the countless videos you have seen of Kozzer or from watching him being done over by Diuof?

You dont have enough to make such a conclusion Jag…its unfounded critism for the sake of it!!!
