City are a bigger club says Ade-the-whore, John Lukic speaks, and everything in the garden looks Rosey!

by & filed under Uncategorized.

So Togo twit Adebayor says that Man Shitty are a bigger club than Arsenal, hmmm, so why do they live in a council house then you dimwit?

People often forget that after the Commonwealth games that City rented the council stadium and moved out of Maine Road, so it’s much easier to do what they want without having to pay for a stadium. Plus they sold their arses to a rich Arab for a glass of mint tea and a lamb Kebab.

Unlike us of course, that had to spend £350mil on out new stadium, still that debt has almost gone and we will soon be buying players for fun. Not that we need them as our team will win the EPL and ECL this season without spending money, you ask the boss.

John Lukic entered the goal keeping fray today and said we needed a top class keeper as we wouldn’t achieve silverware without one, he suggested Reina, Valdes or Julio Cesar as great options for us, but that won’t happen as we have Almunia and Fabianski, and for all you doubting Thomas’s out there beware, Almunia will be the keeper we wanted and we save a shedload of money. And if for some reason Almunia has an off day or is injured, then in will step Fabianski, Poland’s number one, or he soon will be.

We are almost sorted out at the back now, we have just bought Squillaci, not that I know much about him, but the boss does, and as no one else was trying to buy him I suspect we have unearthed another gem in the Koscielny mode, Djourou should stay uninjured this season (for some strange reason) and I believe that Sagna and Clichy have been having crossing lessons and extra training, defensive lessons will take place during the course of the season.

We managed to get 2 games out of Robin this season before his first injury and although Holland got a whole world cup out of him, fear not, because we have Nikki Bendtner waiting in the wings, once of course he recovers from his groin operation.

I was getting really excited watching Frimpong this season, until he got injured, but I wasn’t too bothered as we had Denilson as back up, once he gets over his injury.

At least Song and Diaby are now fit, I’m not sure if either are DM’s though, as the boss has Song down as a centre back and Diaby seems to be playing as an attacking one.

Diaby on form for me is a thing of beauty, I hope he plays more on form than not because when he’s not up for it, he seems to give the ball away a lot.

Still we are second in the league and haven’t been beaten yet and considering we have played two teams from the Northwest, that is some achievement, I just hope we play a strong side against the spuds and that Arsene realises how much beating them means to us, Arsene, we gain nothing from losing, put out a side that can at least get a replay, that much you owe the fans.

In truth we won’t really know if we are ready to challenge until we play the chavs, and that will happen soon enough, I believe we now have a couple of centre backs that can out bully an ageing Drogba. Terry and Lumphard are getting on a bit and if we can have a few more first time shots then who knows eh? Maybe Arsene, in fact maybe Arsene Knows Best!

See if anyone gets that.

Not a lot to talk about today other than Wayne Rooney’s private life, so have fun Grovers, fill your boots, everything in the Arsenal garden is rosey!

@ Marko- I think I listened to the same one, was it where the host had an unnervingly deep and melodic voice. That really put me off. Probably electronically altered.

    common sensei

    weapons or no weapons?

obviously weapons is more fun, but i have work tomorrow so im 50 50.

    what do you reckon.

  3. Common Sensei

Even now, check out your responses – you sound very aggressive and there is no need for it.

“If you don’t like it fuck off elsewhere” and the like. Is that really necessary? That is the sort of things I was saying when I was a clueless 14yr old.

Like I said it just smacks of ego boost, not really befitting what I imagine to be relatively thoughful and ‘good’ fans.

    STU mate you just whacked the nail on it’s head;

We DO all want the best for Arsenal. And I think we should keep that in mind when talking to other fans.

    Imagine what somebody would think if they were just surfing along the web and they came across some of the arguments that have been happening on these sites;

It just gives the entire club a terrible terrible review and football a bad name.

Neutrals haven’t got the time to logicalise it all and look deeper into the reasoning.

They just see blind anger between neighbouring fans of the same club!! And probably think ‘fuck it they are all idiots, cant stop fighting with each other’ and then think THAT is what Arsenal represents.

Please understand that my love of the club is what drives me to broker peace not any personal agenda or popularity drive!!

It may surprise you or it may not, to know I am no more popular over there as I am here!!!

You know how it is when your opinions are so rock solid! :) Heh that is why I am bothering I can tell underneath all the vitriol you lot are actually fucking dudes with something valid to say.

Am I getting anywhere here? I need a fucking smoke already :) Puff puff pass

  5. Common Sensei

    Hmmm I don’t REALLY want to see Drogba die of AIDS and Rooney get hit by a passing coach …. but for the sake of the satire;

Yeah I suppose nothing could make me happier than seeing the entire Spurs squad used as a human shield for when we arrange for the Chavs to be shot to shit.

even though I respect the other teams and rivals for the pleasure of beating them – when I am at OT, make no mistake I give as good as I fucking receive like the rest of us.

it’s half the fun when you are there – I just tend to leave it there afterwards too ….. s’pose that makes me weak or something! Haha

  6. gambon

As for the Rooney thing, you need to remember a lot of these footballers are in complete sham marriages, it wouldnt surprise me at all if she was well aware of what he was up to.

  7. Geoff

Common Sensei, first of all I have never mention that bloke or his blog on any post.

Secondly I have never read his blog and never will.

Finally it may interest you to know he wanted me to meet him so he could have his picture taken with me, I refused.

That’s probably why he bitches about us all the time, he was turned down!

He only gets read because he talks about us, I have the moral high ground because I wouldn’t give him the time of day, and because I don’t care what he writes about me, in a spooky way it’s quite flattering, a bit like a blog stalker.

I hope that explains it better and in a more constructive and literate way.

  8. Pedro

    CS,

    1) Why do you care how other fans perceive you?
    2) Do you have any evidence to back this troubling theory that other fans of other clubs don’t like us or how we behave? I’m struggling to believe that Spurs fans would have a bad word to say about us?

  9. arsenal4ever

CS, cause WEnger lies!! Again and again. I dont hate him but want a change and he had time to sort it out. More as any other manager would have given from the board. He said we can compete with chelski in terms of transfers but we will have to wait until jan for his lies again. Thats the reason I “hate” him. Iz id “this” season he has to deliver but I cant see us winning anything which doesnt mean I dont want us to win anything.

  10. Pedro

    CS, as expected… no evidence.

It’s a sad indictment of the modern football fan when they worry about what others think about them.

  11. Marko

If I’m honest I’m not mad on the label AKB. Cause for one I’m probably labeled an AKB for not showing my frustration for him with posts and curse words. I actually follow Arsenal diehardly the same way if a favourite of mine Cesc Fabregas ever leaves for another club I’ll still followed Arsenal much like I did when former favourites Henry, Overmars and Pires left. I get frustrated alot but hey I’ve still gotta follow the current running of the club.

  12. blazon

    Geoff/Pedro…

on a practical matter re Jaguar…

do you ever wonder just how he may be affecting your audience numbers?

how many people come on in the morning with plenty of positive thoughts- as i’ve just done – see his vile crap and simply go away? who needs to be exposed to that?

he is costing you, there’s no question…why on earth you allow it i have no idea.

  13. Common Sensei

    @Geoff

Who was it you nearly had your photo taken with? I missed that bit and can’t be arsed to scroll back up!

    Fair play though, I am seeing the reasoned side of everybody on here now so I am happy to take that back with me, and put the records straight if anybody gets lemon;

They rarely do though – it one of those chicken or egg siituations. But I don’t think it’s relevent now who started it, I just think you guys could easily be the ‘better man’ so it were and be responsible for the solution!

Mind you if you really couldn’t give a fuck what anybody else on Earth thinks then fair plays — Msut admit though I didn’t think most people were that way.

I mean if you guys go to matches who knows we may see you there at some point.

I go to all the matches I can, so I may have even already seen some of you. It motivates me to try to make peace since I realised I had offended people myself.

It’s difficult to know who is offended though unless they take the time to say what and why it pissed them off.

And as much as I am all serious-sam at the moment, I am not a huge-headed arrogant nob :) I can climb down and say sorry I offended X person if they explain why they feel that was. My intention is never to offend, only to discuss.

  14. Marko

Seriously though I don’t like Drogba with his elbows and falling to the ground when not hurt. And I would call a guy who’s on a 100,000 a week and cheats on his pregnant wife a dickhead. Shame marriage or no.

  15. Common Sensei

Look I said my piece, and I think most of you said yours; which seemingly wasn’t actually all that bad.

    So i will be going now. Hope I made my point though;

Basically arguing is a shitty thing to do, online where it makes no difference.

We should give it a rest.

Laters people I think (most of us) understand each other a little better now.

So fuck off you bunch of pricks :D [That bit WAS a joke incase somebody gets all sensitive]

    Laters

  16. Stu

Agree there Blazon. I get put off my Jags comments. Its the same thing every day with him. 99% of his comments are about Wenger or one of our players being at the club because of the language he speaks. The other 1% is him trying to justify it when someone tells him off.

  17. Pedro

Blazon, it doesn’t do anything to our audience, most are grown up enough to ignore him… plus, he goes on a day ban if he comes on with the abuse now.

CS, we really couldn’t give a crap about his site.

  18. wattsy65

    Fuck, sarcastic or what.

On balance I enjoyed the George Graham era more than now, mostly because I did’nt have to spend the last 10 mins shitting myself about shipping a late goal.

I hate that little ginger git in the TV ad, they should put him back in his puddle.

Stay positive grovers, at least until Al gets injured and flapper gets the nod.

  20. LeProf

Ok fine with that Ade, but if Pedro or Geoff would define once and for all what is big club really all about. Biggest sheikhdaddy? Biggest trophies list? Biggest debt? There gotta somewhere to draw the line. IMHO lets start with Bundesliga 50pct spending cap rule be applied to EPL (maybe for past decade) retrospectively and guess which club would be banned from making transfers / banned from citing future TV ads etc. revenue as bank mortgage purposes. Live by your means kinda rule. Or as Wenger called it as financial doping. If that applies, even our club would barely made it. Its like EPL clubs being reset, inflation adjusted. Yeah Blackpool could top the list as the most prudent, virgin club ever.

  21. Geoff

Common Sensei, the effeminate guy who is always writing posts about me. The old boy who makes me nervous when I go out at night!

  22. Stu

If Argueing and being negative on the internet then why cant we do it?

Similarly, whats the point in being positive because if being negative makes no difference then surely being positive doesnt either. Its not like what we say on a blog is going to affect/effect??? how the team performs as long as they are supported diring the match.

    Right?

  23. Marko

JEsus I heard Robben saying now that Spurs have Van Der Vaart they have the best midfield in the league. And that VDV is better than Fabregas. Give me a fucking break

  24. Ricky

We all know already that wenger is not going to be put under any pressure @ the Q&A’s. All the questions will probably be selected & even if shareholders are allowed to speak from the heart they’ll be to far up wengers arse to ask the questions that really need answering & instead ask questions like: “What would you be if you wernt in football” or whats your favourite t.v show.

We need people to ask questions like:

Where does the clubs ambitions lie under your management & why are you so content on balancing the books every transfer window?

Why have we failed to win anything in nearly 6yrs
& Does he feel he’s earned the right to a new contract even though he’s policy has been a big part in the clubs faliure for success in recent yrs?

Why has he ignored the fact that we need a ne GK & continued to stick with the likes of almunia & fabianski even though they have made a number of high profile blunders?

I really hope these sort of questions are thrown at him cos i really believe he feels like he can do know wrong in our eyes.

  25. Common Sensei

And no I am not :) Hehe I was actually trying to make a bit of peace not that you have made it easy on me!

I’m off anyway like I said

  26. Geoff

Pedro stop picking on him, I remember when Ethan used to go on about how much he hated Ade, no one agreed with him then, but they all do now.

Don’t forget, this is the blog where you can have an opinion, not get one!

  27. Common Sensei

Wenger has done plenty wrong – I just want to hear the actual discussions rather than the agro vibes, is that so bad?

  28. Common Sensei

Almunia is OK, I fully agree though that he is not really of the ideal quality for a club such as Arsenal.

Not really convinced about Schwarzer either though to be fair, I watched us play Fulham last season and he was bloody awful!

  29. pantsR2long

I though you were gone Common Sensei?

Anywho, i still would’ve preffered Schwarzer over the spanish waiter and Flappianski.

  30. Stu

Jag has his own opinion. He fucking tells us it with every single comment. Im not so sure he has an opinion on anything other than Wenger being a cunt or whatever.

  31. Marko

If anything Schwarzer would of brought the best out of Almunia cause let’s face it he’s not under pressure from Fabianski. People still talk of Almunia’s crapness and talk about the good days when Lehmann was there but they forget that Almunia actually displaced Lehmann. He needs to be looking over his shoulder and Schwarzer would of done that. They’re both stop gaps to Chesney though.

  32. Common Sensei

I was gone but actually I felt compelled to return! Haha I guess this edgy thing is addictive -

    Well it seems we are stuck with ‘the spanish waiter’ (for a minute I thought you meant Rafa Benitez) so at least until January;

Can you not bring yourself to give him one more shot? You never know, he may even surprise you. And I don’t mean by letting one in at the near post either :D lol

  33. Spectrum

CommonSensei – You call me an ‘idiot’ for being vocal in my criticisms. You would know if you had been reading past posts of mine on here and other blogsites, that I have acknowledged that Wenger has done great things for us in the past, and that is on the public record. No sensible Gunners fan can deny that.
But just how truly balanced are YOU in YOUR views ? Let me ask you this. What criticisms if any, do you have of anything Arsenal ? Can you bring yourself to make any, or is everything perfect in your world ? Or do you, as I suspect just sit back in your cocoon of complacency and blindly have faith that the club couldn’t possibly be run any better? Have you read any of the valid points and issues raised by many members of this site ? The fact that you have never seemed to contest any of them, tells me you have a predetermined, biased approach.
Stop being so pompous and self righteous. You may be satisfied with mediocrity, but I and others on here want better, and we’re not going to be intimidated or deterred from stating what we think by people like you.
By the way – cop this – “In Arsene we rust.”

  34. arsenal4ever

Wenger needed to sort out the GK situation before pre season started!! Waiting until 31 august was simply the worst decission he has ever done. And yes Ricky, Wengers dictator regime will sort out all questions in his favour. I cant see any comments from him anymore. He lies if his mouth is open!!! FACT!!!

  35. vica

i’m in no position to criticize other blogs but the article in untold arsenal is just annoying…
i mean..they may have their own opinions but criticizing another blog is just a very..very bad sign of desperation..
    really annoying this..

  36. Stu

Almunia is NOT a stop gap for Szczsney. No chance! Al has been first choice for 3 years. Noone can honestly believe that Wenger decided to play Almunia until Chesney was ready because when AL was installed Chesney was only 17. No manager in the world, not even Wenger, would bring in a stop gao for a 17 year old keeper.

  37. gambon

    arsenal4ever

The worrying thing is that he didnt wait til Aug 31st at all, he didnt even put a bid in for Schwartzer.

He seemingly decided at some point not to bother with a keeper.

  38. arsenal4ever

so gambon this lloris rumour is just speculation? It was typical Wenker. “I decide and dont care on fans”. And we need to see this stingy stubborn kunt for the next 3 years? WTF

As spectrum already said he was great in the past but sometimes a change is needed and Wenker wont change so he needs to get replaced.

  39. Honest Bill

I think it’s unfair on Mannone that Fabianski is ahead of him.

Sure he made a couple of mistakes, but Fabianski is a serial fumbler. At least Mannone showed some other attributes and looked generally quite good

  40. arsenal4ever

@ Honest Bill we all think the same. Would even start now Mannone or Szesney above these 2 clowns!! We have nothing to loose anymore, lol!!!

  41. Common Sensei

    @Spectrum

Apologies if my calling you an idiot offended you. It was meant to offend so I can take it back, now that I have listened to everybodies views on here -

To be fair, even though I wouldn’t speak the way you guys have myself in real life – I must admit. It’s actually fucking funny sometimes, when everybody here appreciates it is just a joke :) And Pedro, why did you desert me!?!?!

Haha it’s OK paps, at least I got your amazing looks and intellect. Lol

Back to the football, I do think Mannone will get a shot at some point this season, he is clearly the better keeper purely based on ability. Almunia is OK and will improve but I can’t see him being the world beater we need – where as Vito quite possibly could be.

And where did this Lloris rumour originate?? Can you link me?

  42. arsenal4ever

so Common Sensei you dont think Wenger will go back for a world class GK in jan. I really hope he does and we arent fukked by jan already!! I wont to win us something this year!!

  43. Marko

I’d say an injury to someone like Diaby or Song around late Dec or Jan will result in a signing. An injury or lack of form in a goalkeeper will result in a signing of a goalkeeper if we weren’t already going back in for Schwarzer. Thats what I think.

  44. Common Sensei

Well if I am honest; and I know it isn’t what people want to hear – I am not convinced he will if Almunia (as I expect) runs into some great form.

The defence is looking much more reliable this season already and it is hardly a few weeks in. This cannot fail to improve the spaniards confidence – and since he feels no need to rush out like a rabbit into the road I don’t see him being embarrassed like last season at all.

Obviously he will make mistakes, it’s Almunia!! But the odd one is OK just like any other keeper.

Of course I would love Reina in goal for us, but I never see that happening unless some minor miracle occurs!

I can however see us buying another striker perhaps, which would give us a little more in the way of options when the usual inevitable happens and VPs ankles start to crumble …

God I wish we could fit his ankles with some kind of metal brace it’s getting so predictable

  45. incesc

not too sure about that marko.

Injuries never really make arsene get his wallet out, we were desperate for a striker last xmas.

  46. Zorr0

I don’t think that Mannone is much better than Flapianski, so if you are prepared to promote anyone, then make Tech9 #2 keeper right now!

  47. arsenal4ever

yeah Common Sensei sadly you will be right about GK. But unsettling Alm was not in favour for him. Hopefully he has a season like 2 years ago and defence looks more balanced. A DM and Striker are needed imo!! RVP wont stay injury free and we already lost Frimpong for DM.

  48. Geoff

Kushgara, I agree and if anyone crosses that line we card them.

All we ever do is fun, life’s way too difficult as it is without people getting bent out of shape.

  49. Spectrum

CommonSensei – I’m not sure to what degree you’re being sincere, or whether you’re just trying to wind people up.Regardless,I’m willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, unless you prove otherwise.
Essentially I would say that we on this site are free thinkers, in that we do not act like obedient mindless automatons, and accept everything that the board and manager ( whoever it happens to be now and in the future ) ply us with.Sometimes we use colourful language, but that often reflects our sheer frustration.
It is not being disloyal to the club to point out where things can be improved. And no one should be above criticism where it is warranted. And in recent years, Wenger has deserved plenty of it.The goalkeeper fiasco is the latest example, but there have been many others. We need a new manager as Wenger is stale, and has lost the enthusiasm, good judgement and motivational skills he displayed when he first joined us.
    “In Arsene we rust.”

  50. gambon

Give the racism police thing a rest.

The reason he’s called Tec9 is because when he first joined people couldnt pronounce Wojciech, so he told them to call him Tec..then obviously they added the 9.

So has anybody actually watched him guard the onion bags live?

I watched the little bits on YouTube but it isn’t really the same.

I’d love to see him get some chances perhaps in the League Cup / FA Cup. Quietly optimistic that he can blow our other keeper options away with relative ease

  57. Zorr0

I would play him v the scum and then loan him out to either a prem club or a decent championship side. He needs the experience if AW isn’t going to chuck him in at the deep end. Which I don’t think he should tbh as he is not yet ready.

  58. pantsR2long

@ Cs- i’ve always wondered if anyone has “actually” seen him play. Everyone seems to tout him as the next great Arsenal keeper, but how many who claim this have seen him first hand and have the knowledge to make that kind of judgement? I’ll admit that i’ve never seen him play (except for that short stint in pre-season) but even i have claimed he’s the next big thing at Arsenal.

Schwarzer is just as angry as Arsenal fans!
Posted on September 05, 2010 by admin

All the Arsenal supporters have directed their anger at Arsene Wenger for not buying a new goalkeeper this summer, but it seems that Mark Schwarzer is jus as annoyed that he wasn’t allowed to move to the Emirates.

He was mysteriously injured during the first few games of the season while Arsenal were still trying to persuade Mark Hughes to let him leave, but he was more than fit enough to pull off a point-saving performance for Australia against Switzerland on Friday.

After the game, the Australian media pressed him on what his feelings were about missing out on the chance of Champions League glory with the Gunners; and he was seething, according to the Australian ABC. They reported: His eye twitched at the mere mention of last week’s events and the normally amenable figure smiled and used single word responses on the issue.

He had a wry smile on his face but admitted he could not yet trust himself to talk publicly on the issue.

“I would rather not say anything, I would really rather not say anything because otherwise I might say something wrong,” he said.

“At the end of the day you have to get on with your work and coming away with the national team was a great relief for me really,” he said.

So although Wenger might have failed in his quest, there is no doubt that both parties were desperate for the move to happen. Perhaps we have all been a bit hard on Arsene?

    @Sabeel

Please do not be so immature. Now it is dropped, and consessions were made on either side there is absolutely no logical reason to start getting all puffy chest about it now!

So I would appreciate if you could do as we are all doing – which is talking about football and letting dead issues lie

  70. Common Sensei

Arsene for all his stubborness would love Arsenal to be winning titles, of course he is the manager that is his job!

Thing is it is also his job to move the club into this new era of billionaires and quotas … so it is a difficult balancing act.

I know he isn’t perfect but I think he has done a solid job of it so far. This season I have high hopes of us challenging for honours and winning something which is all you can really ask I think :)

  71. Common Sensei

That was a bit of a special goal wasn’t it, reminds me of Rooneys goal against United when he was still at Everton!

    Common Sensei

How do one know consessions have been made ?

one way is if untoldarsenal can put up a small post on there misunderstanding, that would be the RIGHT THING to DO.

watching dirty clothes in public has to be accountable, one cant just attack the le-grove community as racist, and not OWN up there mistake of having committed a misunderstanding…thats all i am saying…

i dont wanna waste my time anymore on this topic..but that would be RIGHT thing to do according to me..

  73. Common Sensei

Has anybody seen that article on Sky by Adebayor?? It’s actually hilarious!

He seems to think that if City win 10 games in a row then that will prove that City are a bigger club than Arsenal!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!

Funny little guy, being as we are 2nd and they already lost to Sunderland! Ohhh I cannot wait to see them at the Ems …. Everyone will be rocking, we can smash them up for 3 or 4 I reckon.

God I cannot wait! That is a team of arrogant individuals, not a team at all really; shaky defence, stroppy lazy strikers and a witless manager.

Infact without Joe Hart they would be cannon fodder

  74. Arse&Nose©

Rooney is a discpicible human being, I’m glad he has been found out to be as ugly as he looks by sleeping with a hooker while his wife is preggers!

Anyone else notice how Rooney behaves around Theo, he hates him, never passes to him, scowls at him and never plays him in to score.

Me thinks the inbred cunt is jelous of Theo.

  75. Common Sensei

Yeah he is way way jealous of Theo it was evident from the beginning – that is why Theo was axed and gets so much crap in the international game ….

Now that Rooney has been found out AGAIN I think we might see a change of treatment to young Theo. After all, now that Rooney is off to visit my nan again – that leaves Theo there to gel with the rest of the squad, and actually receive some passes rather than everything going to Rooney and then amounting to nothing!

Roll on the next game perhaps with Theo involved a little more I may actually give a damn about England again.

  76. Common Sensei

Well to be fair I think Giggs is due some respect. The things he has accomplished, had he been at Arsenal he would be revered as a legend.

And to be fair I do have alot of respect for Giggsy, he is a special player and his retirement will be sad for football all round.

Owen is a good guy, but I think he was unlucky to be treated the way he has been by club AND country.

Good luck to them both in future, unless they are lining up against Arsenal. In which case sod them :D Hehe only kidding

  77. sixx pac

Oh and Common Sensei from the other blog yesterday, a contract does mean that we own the player. He is an Arsenal player until the contract is ended mutually or broken

  78. sixx pac

No I’m not talking about that. The hooker said shrek took her infront of the whole utd team and she mentions that Owen was looking at Roo with disdain

  79. Common Sensei

AFC what are you on about???? I was sticking up for LG.

You haven’t actually read the thing have you?? Tut tut

    * slaps forehead *

You are behind, we already sorted out the shitty arguing thing, everybody is cool now

  80. Harry

How much for Reina, Valdes and Ceasar? I,m sure if we offered Cesc and money we could work it out.
I don’t reckon they need those goalkeepers as they have better understudies.

    What do you think Geoff?

  81. Aidan Daley

” if Man City win 10 games in a row people will consider them to be a bigger club than Arsenal ” says Adebayor… a week after he was whoring himself around to any club that will listen, again

When Man City have won 13 League titles, 10 F.A. Cups, been in the Champions League 14 years in a row and have gone 49 games unbeaten, then maybe people might consider them to ” be a bigger club. ” But until then, people will consider them to be what they are, an overpaid bunch of mercenary’s with no history, no class
and no pedigree. Once the rich Arab gets bored of pouring money into a hole and they fail to run within their profit margins, thereby unable to play in the Champions League, the mercenaries will leave for wage packets elsewhere. Just when I thought I’d heard the most stupid comment made by a player, Adebayor keeps talking!!

  82. Common Sensei

    @Sabeel:

The article was called amongst the Anti-Arsenal blogs! And since LG has no anti-arsenal element it doesn’t NEED to be revisited.

Read the entire thing and the comments, then come back and you will see what I mean.

Everybody over there is agreed that the arguments are done, it was misunderstandings on both sides.

If you expect them to write a whole article about it, then you would have to have one on here too – and lets be honest, that would be so childish not to mention totally irrrelevent to the blogosphere of ARSENAL since its nothing to do with Arsenal.

Please before you start trying to kick up more fuss read through both blogs carefully.

Nobody is arguing it now apart from you it seems, and I am sure if you bothered to read it you would see that.

Come on Sabeel – nobody is racist, nobody is hating we just want to talk about FOOTBALL now please :D

  83. Arse&Nose©

quick thought on the racism debate earlier

I believe in equality, and that means no one religion should be unquestionable. In the modern day it seem we can question everything except islam , we can’t even mention the name Mohamed in a satirical cartoon(south park) without receiving death threats!

Would there be so much of a fuss if the joke/insult was to any other faith apart from islam?…i don’t think so

  84. Common Sensei

I am not Tony Atwood, who said that??? how strange, my name is Brooke Stern you can look it on Facebook if you need proof -

That was weird?? Who said I was Tony? I am me!

  85. Common Sensei

    @Arse&Nose

as far as I am concerned it does not mater what the faith / religion / colour / nation is

    Racism is racism at the end of the day, and none of it is to be tolerated. Jokes can be tolerated, when they are taken as jokes. But nobody on either this site or on untold is racist;

Both sides are in agreement you should stop trying to stir it up – and I am not Tony either so please if you are so up for telling truths do not say I am him.

  86. Common Sensei

    @Sixxpac

A contract ddoes not mean you own the player. We live in a democratic free society mate! You cannot own a living person that would be against human rights for a start, and common sense for the rest -

Contracts should be respected I agree but you do not ever own a person

  87. Sabeel Indian Gunner

    Common Sensei..

I read the whole comments before commenting there mate,
and i think it is really hard on readers to go through all comments to think that, things have been sorted out.

if they can write a whole long post on how we @ le-grove community are racist, they can write a SMALL paragraph saying that the earlier post was a misunderstanding or LACK of Communication..it is a simple thing to do…

everything else is just excuses of trying to NOT own up,for there mesiunderstanding,by view of a SMALL post, which is EASILY ACCESSIBLE to ALL viewers/readers…

Badsically, easy way to bring the point forward for the comfort of all readers..

  88. Arse&Nose©

    Who are the racists?

The islamist who want their faith to be untouchable but are perfectly happy to see other faiths joked about and discussed… or the guys who treat every group of people the same, joke about all, discuss all?
