Arsene, what is taking so long? Harry caught by Young boys with his pants down!

by & filed under Uncategorized.

I’ll come back to the Harry story a bit later, because it is shocking, funny, but truly shocking!

However, first of all I find myself writing two consecutive posts about goal keepers, bizarre but true. And our keepers at that, in fact today’s post is a tale about 4 keepers, read on!

A few days ago we heard how tough it was to sign players this season, well in the last 7 days Schwarzer has asked for a transfer and that has been accepted and Given has told Mancini he wants to leave and Mancini said he wouldn’t stand in his way.

So what’s the problem boss? It can’t be that hard can it? We have more money than you can shake a stick at, haggling over a couple of million is rubbish.

Fabianski dreams of Arsenal fans singing his name, well mate if you want to hear that you have to stop dropping clangers, the only way you will improve in my book is to go out on loan for a season or two, or look at a video of yourself playing Legia Warsaw, then perhaps you’ll see what we do.

He seems to be living in a bubble, he really rates himself, Lukas, if you want to be loved then you need to stop flapping, learn when to come and when to stay, command your area, stop punching the ball in the wrong direction, learn to kick to your own players…

Everyday I’m scanning the internet hoping to see that we have bought someone and then nothing, it’s so disappointing, I read today that Djourou is back from injury, Djourou has been injured his whole career, are we going to have that all season? I expect so, I can’t work out why we don’t develop young centre backs anymore, I can’t work out why England don’t develop more young boys anymore, and talking of young boys, how funny was that!

Wouldn’t it be a scream if the spuds went out in the qualifiers to Young boys of Switzerland! That would be worth the pain of an inactive pre-season, watching Redknapps face would be priceless, ha, ha!

Only three more days until we play Blackpool, they should be easy, even for an injury hit Arsenal.

Let’s hope today sees some activity, I am losing the will to live here Arsenal, get your purse out please!

Have a great day Grovers, we are getting closer!

schwarzer he got right, he first mentioned it with about three games to go at the end of last season….

Jagielka too he called before it broke

  2. JJ

David – I think you are misunderstanding the fanshare system. The is more than 1 share for sale. They are creating shares at a value of 100 pounds. You can either pay the 100 up front or in 10 instalments. When fully paid, YOU own the share. The club gets this money.

i’m an arsenal fan but i don’t think that means i have a god given duty to hand over money to arsenal fc.

i’ve been at all levels in the emirates and the biggest shock was the high price executive box at £3k for the emirates cup.

food ok, beers and drinks ok, view ok. but for that money i would expect a hell of a lot more. a meal at the savoy costs a lot but you get a memorable feed out of it. here it is just the bare minimum effort of a nod in the direction of value.

and that goes for just about evry item in the arsenal shop and everything for sale within the emirates. it’s one gigantic rip-off from top to bottom. like they think we are kids at the fairground, unable to distinguish the difference between tat and quality. it’s an insult but as long as people carry on spending…

  4. choy

I don’t think we will david.

    We’re playing a system of 4-2-3-1 I think.

That means 2 midfielders sharing the defensive work.

Denilson, Song, Diaby, Wilshere, Rosicky all vying for that spot.

  5. A

    timao that’s football for you.

I went to Peterborough Utd the other week and the prices are similar to those at the Emirates, yet the quality is WAY inferior, and that’s not even taking into account London prices!

However Borehamwood for the reserve game is where you wanna be, a burger cooked just by some nice lady in a little kitchen, £2.50, proper food, proper prices, proper football experience….

    JJ

I mean it only goes to someone at the club if one of the directors is selling.

Fans buy ‘fanshares’ in the club, these are all pooled together, and used to buy shares from the open market.

The club dont make any money from it, it isnt a rights issue.

  7. Big Dave

Not sure about this cb we bin linked with sounds like a AW signing, french bloke on talk shite says he is signing for us.

Depend on which forum you read some say he is shit and old while others say good signing

  8. A

I agree David, I’d like more cover there too.

If Song and Denilson aren’t fit then Frimpong should be capable of playing against Blackpool, or Nordveit.

JJ you can only buy shares that a shareholder decides to sell

  9. A

Big Dave I don’t know about him either, injury worry! Though seems he’s a good defender when he plays.

I’d imagine that those who havn’t ever seen him play would claim that he’s therefore shit, as with most players we’re linked with nowadays!

  10. iamgooner

what is wenger playing at, really?

TWO! keepers want to join us, sort it out Arsenal this is not acceptable for a club of our stature its been going on for too long.

on a brighter note the clock looks BLOODY AMAZING in the emirates!!

  11. Wenger the liar

Can you imagine 600,000 AKBs owning one £95 share each, Arsene would be running the club via a wigi board in 2090.

  12. gambon

The clocks been up for weeks. I dont know if anyone noticed but it was up during the EC, just the time hadnt been set.

  13. JJ

Gambon/A – How do you know that the club has not authorized more share capital for this purpose?

Btw – Rights issues is where new stock is issued to “existing” shareholder… which obviously does not the case here.

  14. Big Dave

Dear God Arsenal fans, Squillaci is a solid defender. SOLID. He is not a 3rd or 4th choice! Id rate him above Gallas,Toure and Koscielny . twitter

  15. Paulinho

I remember Squillaci haing a blinder in the Amsterdam Tournament a couple of years ago, and then playing decent against us the day after. Can’t remember who the other teams were in that tournament.

  16. iamgooner

yeh yeh i saw it before, but i saw it again today and i just thought “wow that looks quality”

@ Honest Bill, if he’s waiting for the man city jumble sale, then surely shay given is already in the summer sale? this is my point..

can’t belive they signed balotelli i think hes gonna be the new drogba the guys got a a serious future ahead of him

  17. Marko

Not a bad move for Squillaci, 29 years old, has champions league and international experience. I’m sure we’ve been in for Jagielka and MErtesacker but have been told they’re unavailable and now are going for Squillaci. Not bad at all. Now the Montolivo and Asamoah rumours? Well I’ll believe it when I see. Could happen though

  18. Marko

They’ve all played in Europe. But I do like the look of Verthongan and I’m really surprised Suarez hasn’t moved from there.

  19. Samir

Squillaci moved to Sevilla for around 5M….Im sure Wenger will be getting for around the same price :)

    Squillaci
    De Jong
    Given/Schwarzer

And Id be very happy :D

  20. OPG

Seems we may have made a bid for that Squallaci guy but it wasn’t satisfactory *suprise*.
He’s had some injury problems in recent times so I wonder how much WE value him as oppose to his market value.

  21. WERE GONNA WIN THE LEAGUE!

according to wikipedia squillaci has signed for us and has the number 4 shirt! Oh cesc where are you? Hahaha

  22. Moray

these rumours are ridiculous. nothing ever happens.

and do we really need another Frenchman? After their showing in the WC, I would have thought we would be avoiding French players like a vampire around garlic.

Honda I can see happening. Wenger knows the J league and it would be great for merchandising, despite the slow disintegration of the J economy. He looks the real deal too, and fit for the Premiership.

Motolivio would seem a strange signing too. don’t know much about him, but it’s rare to see Italians coming this way, and even rarer to see them succeeed. Still, he could be another Gattuso – still a legend at Rangers.

  23. Moray

My wife said to me, ‘For our anniversary I want to go somewhere I’ve never been before.’ I said, ‘Try the kitchen!’”

    I love this crowd!

  24. AA23

Jaguar is a fat Maltese mug. The senile cunt is ruining our board.
    Fuck him off Pedro.
Just kidding I could care less about the dopey prick, I even chuckle at his foreign spellings and stuff sometimes.
    The fez wearing retard.
    Just kidding jagtard
    you cunt
    just kidding

  25. DB10

Whats with Arsene and 6.00feet players? Cant he go for a bigger players? I checked his profile and he seems to be the same as what we already got: small, light weight, and injury prone

  26. AA23

    Get in there Sixx
The fat senile Maltese mug is my new project.
Le grove will never win anything with that retarded muppet posting on here.
If he carries on backing mugs like gamboncunt and jimboshit we won’t not nevers winning shits for our great blog ler growve
The French senile spudishment of an agency!

  27. Moray

so Nasri is out for a month for surgery.

when did this happen? did it have to wait for one game in?

if the first game was not worth buying a new GK for, then surely we shouldn’t have bothered keeping an injured Nasri on ice for it?

This club continues to baffle me. I’m not sure if they are stupid or deliberately pig-headed…

  28. ArsenalKenya

BREAKING GOOD NEWS!!!!BREAKING GOOD NEWS!!!!BREAKING GOOD NEWS!!!!

Sebastien squilacci from sevilla set to sign for Arsenal. Was ommitted from their he was omitted from the champions league qualifier against braga

AND SCHWAZER ON THE WAY..HAD INITIALLY PASSED A MEDICAL AT ARSENAL.

  29. MickyDidIt89

    Morning anyone,
Still reckon a new GK and CB on their way, however, intrigued by Pedro’s revelation that we asked after Reina and Mascherano. Does this mean AW is after another DM?

  30. MickyDidIt89

The mind boggles as to what Jaguar will make of potentially signing the senile french bastard retard Squillashit.

  32. gambon

Them guys over there arent Arsenal fans, they follow a useless frenchman who was once an awesome manager.

In the last 5 years our average league position has been 3.5, so we’re either finishing 3rd or 4th.

The reason is because we are the 3rd/4th best team in the league, which shows we arent ‘staggeringly talented’ at all, we’re good, but a fair way off the best.

The article that (i think) Wenger The Liar posted yesterday was awesome, and a great insight into the madness of Wenger.

  33. DB10

Here is a very funny piece on goal.com

“Fulham have asked for Arsenal striker Carlos Vela plus cash from the Gunners in exchange for Mark Schwarzer.

The two London clubs have reached deadlock in their negotiations because Arsenal are unwilling to match Fulham’s £4 million valuation of the 37-year-old goalkeeper.” I seriously cant stop laughing….

    http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2010/08/19/2077461/fulham-want-carlos-vela-plus-cash-from-arsenal-in-exchange

  34. DB10

Oh HELL NO!!! We don’t have to OFFER shit in excess of whats been offered. It is more than enough for a soon to be 38 year old keeper On the other hand I may change my mind if the player going the other way is Fabianski
