So, Geoff is away for the weekend so I have a free reign of Le Grove!
I’ll start the post with the news that Owen Coyle wants Jack Wilshere back on loan next season and he reckons he can move Jack’s game on another level. It’s hard to know where to stand on this one. The kid is only 18 years old and the chances of him featuring heavily for Arsenal next year seem slim. For me the important question that needs to be answered is this.
What is going to benefit Arsenal more in the long run?
In my opinion half the problem we have with our youth players is that they don’t appreciate what they have until it’s gone, or until they’re plying their trade at some middle of the road championship club. undoubtedly Jack Wilshere has the talent to be whatever he wants in the game, but then again, so did Quincy. What’s going to make Jack a world beater in the long-term is his attitude. For me, going to a solid club like Bolton will do him Wanderers. He’ll get more games next season, he’ll be playing with experienced journeymen and he’ll truly appreciate Arsenal by the time the season is over.
Hey… he might even bulk up!
Despite Owen Coyle regularly embarrassing himself with his now finely honed ability to make a complete tit of himself, you can’t deny his talent for getting the best out of players and creating a half decent style of football. I think sending him out on loan also sends out the right message to rest of the kids… it doesn’t matter how good you think you are, getting into the Arsenal first team is not a right… it’s an honour.
Arsenal are too wealthy these days to mess around bedding in players for 3 seasons. The only players that should go into our first team are the players that are ready to hit the ground running. If you’re not ready, you can go and play for a club where cutting your teeth and making errors is acceptable and less costly to the outcome of a season.
I don’t want to read Arsenal fans getting on the back of Jack Wilshere this season in the same way we have done with Theo. Both aren’t ready for the Arsenal first team at the moment and personally, I think Arsene’s insistence on kicking players in at the deepend can have damaging effects on a player long-term. Hopefully Theo will recover, hopefully Jack will go out on loan, shine with some sparkling performances and by the time he joins the first 11 the season after, he is ready to guide us to a successful season!
Arsenal have got to create a winning mentality around the first team squad again. Winning a major trophy has to be the only acceptable outcome of a season. Having players who will die for the cause should be on of the main criteria our scouts look for in a player.
I think we’ve got that in Vermaelen and I’m hoping we’ve got that in Kozzer.
If we went out and signed Melo, which judging by Wenger’s past comments is a definite possibility, I’d feel pretty confident going into the coming season!
Things are starting to look up at Arsenal. If the boss beats the summer for the first time in 5 years, we could be in for a hugely exciting 2010/11 season!

“We have followed recent speculation linking Cesc with a move away from the Club but as there has never been any official approach for him, only two informal exchanges, in which we made it abundantly clear that we have no interest in transferring Cesc, we have refrained from publicly passing comment. However, yesterday evening we received an offer from Barcelona for Cesc and in response, we immediately and resolutely told them once again that we have no intention of selling our captain.
“To be clear, we will not make any kind of counterproposal or enter into any discussion. Barcelona have publicly stated that they will respect our position and we expect that they will keep their word.”
Why not a 6 month loan and bring him back in January for the business end of the season. Jack the lad is gonna be quality in like 2-3 years or who knows he could even come along quicker much like Ramsey.
Also I realise there’s no real evidence on it but I hope Sky Sports is right and we’re considering a move for Handanovic cause he looks super. Anyway I’ll be back on later to hear abuse rain down on me
melo – no ta
8 clubs since 2001
a host of yellows and reds, including a 5 match ban.
the boy is trouble
I think Wenger is trying to solve our defensive problems on the cheap. I’m guessing Koscielny is only on 20 thousand per week because he was only on 3 thousand per week in France. We also got rid of Gallas,Silvestre and Senderos so that saves us maybe 200 thousand per week. I think Wenger will buy another defender nobody has heard of just so he save on wages. Are arsenal really this tight? I really cant see us challenging next season, especially when our rivals are going to add quality signings

pedro and biscuits get robbed
£10 mil for a centre back is a long way from being “on the cheap” Tom Tom
He’s the second most expensive defender Wenger has bought since he joined the club, after Vermy….
He’ll be on a good £30-40k or so if he’s going to be at least competing for the first team straight away.
We know we’ve made bids for Jagielka too, so one would imagine that the other centre back who comes in will be a similar quality/price.
I really dont think we will get Jagielka,I know its hard to find really good centre backs but its not looking good when we sign players from Lorient. I thought Vermy was disappointing towards the end of last season and thats where quality players show how good they are. We will play preety football but come february i think we will drop off bacause we have a poor squad and no experienced quality players, hate to say it but i think its been the same the last 5 years
First of all, I’m hoping for the day we see Lansbury, Eastmond, Ramsey, Wilshere and Gibbs play together on the pitch.
Secondly, our main concern should be to have a backup plan when we face teams with strong counterattacks, and I believe the way to go in that case is to continue to strengthen our defence.

A
lets hope for someone with a little more experience than Lolo though.
Pretty football i should say, look at our goalkeeping situation. really important position and we have had crap keepers for so long now

I guess cahill is out of the question.
25 million haha
Hello All
Nice Post Pedro,
Spot on about wilshere
Guys,Any news on wether any such meeting of rossell and wenger “really” gonna happen or,just the journos making up a story?
The last English/British budget implied that the main stream must all pull their purse strings in, but if you are a sportsman/woman you will be given loads of money…..during a recession! coz of 2012 Olympics. Then there is Jack Wilshire who could be the next Jermaine Pennant. Britain is just a nation of star fuckers. Thats all you fucking are
australia is just full of carl kennedys and joe mangels
At least they are happy
We are booming dopey. You are a bunch of miserable cunts thats suck off the stories your great grand parents tell. & your weather is shit. Kiss my arse incest
Britain is the arse hole of the world
Star fuckers!!!! That is Britain

Swinging 60′s thats it
i wanna move to aus mate, broome is my favourite place in the world, cable beach!!
Robin will be in the top 3 scorers in the league if he ever goes a season injury free.
Gnarly calm down. If it’s the arsehole of the world why is it ful of Aussies?
You poms play us off as a bunch of cultureless, beer drinking, red neck, convicts. I’m just giving you poms back what you deserve.
…….not to mention a 4-0 drubbing this Summer
Anyway, my Club won again
thats makes it 5 out of 6 now. Having lost our 1st 9 games of the year. So we are 5 & 10. Youth policy is great

great Post Pedro,
“going to a solid club like Bolton will do him Wanderers” lol
I think a loan to BW until Jan at least then assess how he’s doing would do him good.
I would also like this extended this policy to players like Nasri, Diaby and Rosický when they go through their crap can’t be bothered to try 100% periods. A 6 month loan to a crap team might wake them up and make them want to play for the arse again lol
Stupid Poms! I’ll be there next year with my family for a holiday to look up my roots
Eboue should’ve been Dutch citizen for his total football or the black johan cruyff. With Eboue in Holland team who needs Paul squid to guess the winner it’s Eboue and RVP banging Spain 3-0 and tell Cesc to stay put and guaranteed salary paid in full at Arsenal anytime unlike the broke Barca. Stupid fool Cesc play for free at Barca? And yes Eboue is our black johan cruyff worth GBP50m so take it or leave Barca!
Incest
My cousin is high up in imigration. I’m not sure Poms are allowed @ Cable Beach now, There are already too many there now
GM
You wouldn’t be suited here, Mr Calm Down. The mullet hair style is still a cult look Down Under.
Bloody Poms!!
Are they still wearing rupert trousers out there gnarley ?
Psst!! a little tip for yer levi sta-press are gonna be the next big thing!!
Gnarley
pakistan beat the aussies 2-0 in the T20 games. i really enjoyed them. Gr8 cricket all round and ‘home support’ was immense
Gnarley,
I have been lucky enough to tour Oz a couple of times.
A wonderful country/continent.
It’s difficult to pick any one place as the best, so you are right to be proud of it.
Fact is, many people over here have family links to Oz, like me, and think well of you, or, to be honest, the others don’t really give a stuff.
My impression was that many folk in places Sidney, a fantastic city, seem to be of asian descent and couldn’t give a stuff about the “old country” either.
Glad you are a fellow gooner.
I thought Sydney was a shithole, full of asians and lebonese. I really like Perth tho, sunday session is a tradition I’d like over here. I love the aussie grass, gets you off your rocker. Aussie rules is so boring tho, unless you have lots of grass
Red Arse, and the people from the ‘old country’ are the original Australians.
Mayank,
Spot on.
I can’t ever remember referring to anyone or their descendents as “convicts”. Let’s face it “real” criminals back inthe day were excecuted for pretty much anything. Others were transported, torn away from their families for stealing clothing when they were freezing, or a crust of bread when they were starving.
If they were “convicts” count me in!
Great post Pedro. I could not agree more.
One question – Are we able to let Jack go out on loan until the winter transfer window and reevaluate at that time whether to extend for the rest of the season?
RA, I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear. I was referring to your comment about Asians hogging Australia. To me all of the “New World” belonged to the people who aren’t there any more.
US was founded by a bunch of slave owners wanting to be free. LOL.
The Red Indians were the real owners.
Same with Australia and Indigenous Australians.
What pisses me off is the people from these countries acting high and mighty when it comes to immigration.
I agree with you about the convict thing though. What kind of a punishment would it be to send all the murderers and rapists to a paradise Island?
Someone’s said on another blog that we’re still owed 14.4m on Hleb and Henry.
These guys must have balls the size of watermelons to bid for Cesc!
I still find it hilarious some people complain of us taking a chance on a 10 million player. With the prices in the market these days thats really not taking a chance is it? I mean some players out there are being priced at 20 million plus and they’re not that good, look at Cahill he hasn’t even played for England yet couldn’t hack it at Villa and now Bolton hear of Interest and value him at 25 million. For doing what? I suppose Curtis Davies and Zat Knight are 20 million players too. Unbelievable really.
Yeah that’s English players prices for you though.
English players, and Man City prices are different from others, and way above the player’s actual value.
Paying £10 mil for a centre back like Koscielny is a lot of money though, and there really must be something that Wenger likes alot in him that would persuade him to splash that sort of cash.
Hopefully we’ll all start to see it ourselves from next Saturday!
I think wenger is doind this, fabregas out, and melo + cole in, cole plays in cesc-role.
melo-song
cole
????
People talking about 10 million on Koscielny being too much when these days unfortunately 10 million is nothing. A lot of clubs buy shit for more than that. Lets look at Hazard for example, you could probably get him for 15-18 million and that would be what he’s worth as he’s promising but isn’t the finished article yet at 18/19 years old. Then you take Balotelli who at 19 years of age, inconsistent and hasn’t personally achieved anything yet but is promising none the less and Inter are looking for 40 million for him. Crazy world we live in. In a perfect World he’d be worth 10 million maybe 15.
Very very doubtful Dutchman, Nasri is more likely to play that role than Cole, even if Cesc did go, which is unlikely.
£10 mil is still a lot of money.
Just because City and Madrid (and Chelsea a few years ago) have stupid money so don’t care about market value, and English players are overpriced, doesn’t mean that £10 mil isn’t a fair amount nowadays.
For the vast majority of teams, and in general, £10 mil is still a lot
!0 million isn’t really alot though is it A? I mean it probably is for us what with the penny pinching on the stadium an all but it has to be assumed that these days if we pay 10 million on a player that he has something to offer us ala Vermaelen. He’s more than likely going to be a Vermaelen rather than a Cygan cause we can’t really afford to take chances on shit players whereas when we bought Cygan we were in a position where we could take chances.
£10 mil is alot for us, and every other team that actually works within it’s means, or is funded as it should be, rather than the likes of Inter, Madrid, Barca, Chelsea, City etc who aren’t self-funded but have sugar daddy types, or local banks who will just pump more and more money into them.
People talk about prices going up but in general they’ve stayed really quite static for a good few years, except in the exceptional cases
IF WE DO BUY MELO FROM JUVENTUS AND USE CLICHY AS A SWAP DEAL, I WOULD LIKE OUR STARTING 11 FOR NEXT SEASON TO BE AS FOLLOWS:
SCHWARZER
SAGNA KOSCIELNY VERMAELEN GIBBS
MELO SONG
FABREGAS(whether he likes it or not)
CHAMAKH VAN PERSIE ARSHAVIN
On Melo while I’d take him for his passing ability and his defensive work even though the guy’s a mental case and a liability I’d still rather Inler from Udinese. He was immense against Spain and is the type of box to box midfielder who likes to tackle that we need alongside Song in front of the back 4. But with Udinese losing D’agostino, Quaglirealla (?), Pepe and possibly losing Asamoah and Sanchez would they let Inler go too? Or is it a fire sale? If it is take Inler, Zapata and Handanovic and we’d be champions.
10 Mill is peanuts in todays finances you all know the old saying you pay…………….
Mayank
They must be mistaken. Barca could never have the gall, no, the COURAGE, to step forward with such arrogance and bravado and still owe us money.
apparently the cunts baulked at the transfer price, as if to say how dare you even think to charge 50m?
I seriously hope that Van Bommel does some serious damage to that team and disrupt them and RVP to score then SCREAM fuckkkkk offfffffffffffff Keown style in Xavi’s face.
Dutch
Wash your mouth out with soap. No way in hell would Wenger let Fab4 go and replace him with Cole.
All of you jizzing your pants for Cole, and he is just another Rosicky and not even as good. He is a decent player who’s only selling point is that he has PL experience at this point.
I love the way Xavi talking like we’re lucky to keep Cesc for another year cause next year it’ll be exactly the same. Only in 3 years time when he’s down to 2 years of his contract will we start to feel pressure to sell him. And by that time Ramsey and Wilshere will be tops hopefully Lansbury too. I think thats the thinking you know. Anyway fuck them, “we won’t be bullied”, “Yes or no”, “if they say 50 million then we go and if they say 30 million we’ll agree” it’s like there having an conversation with themselves.
zeus, melo-song-cole, is a very good midfield. Yes, i rather have gourcuff or ozil!
Dutchman there’s noone in that midfield who could control the play at all, I’d much much rather have Nasri in there, or a fit Ramsey, or maybe even Wilshere!
Joe Cole isn’t the sort of player who could play that role for us, we’d struggle for ball retention in the midfield with those three
A
Spot on. But Nasri wouldn’t help much in that regard either. And even if he can retain the ball, he is nowhere nrear Cesc’s level in terms of incisive FORWARD passing to be a suitable replacement.
Nasri can keep things ticking along too zeus, and likes to pick the ball up deep as well.
He’s not on Cesc’s level certainly, but with a proper pre season under his belt he should be able to really kick on this season, which i’m sure he would’ve last season if it wasn’t for his broken leg early on.
Nasri’s still only 21 so he’s gonna get better. I feel if he adds goals i.e. taking more of a chance of shooting then I think he could potentially be another Pires.
Bastian Schweinsteiger. What a player.
How did we end up with Bendtner when there are players out there like Muller ffs.
Damn it David, you bloody jinxed him!
Okay.
Schweinsteiger first mistake in the world cup
Still alot of football to be played Stu…
Where the heck is everyone?
Off watching this i assume. Doesnt expain why the comment count is so low though. Nothing to argue about i guess.
Was great anticipation by Muller for his goal.
Suprised Stefan Kieesling doesn’t get much game time. Wasn’t he the top scoring German in the Bundesliga last season with over 20 goals?
What do Muller and Bendy have to do with each other?! totally different players.
Muller could become Germany’s Lampard, apart from actually being effective internationally as he is domestically!
How so A? Muller and Lampard are nothing alike imo. Muller is athletic and full of running while being able to beat most fullbacks and link up very well. Lampard doesnt have the ability to beat anyone 1v1, is all about arriving at the right time to score and shoots a lot. Aside from that they play different positions.
Cavani is one very ugly bastid.
Anyone know why Badstuber isnt playing for Germany? He started their first match but hasnt played since (i think). And Jansen left midfield when they have Marin who plays there and Trochowski too. Not sure about Cacau either. They have Gomez and Kiessling who are both better imo.
Muller has everything bendy doesnt have
Finishing, first touch, anticipation
Muller is a goalscoring midfielder, very solid, good shot with either feet, and composed on the ball, despite not having the same vision of a player like cesc.
Muller plays slightly further forward than Lampard, but I’d expect him to move a bit further back as time goes on.
I agree that he is a bit quicker than Lampard though, and as you say can beat a man one on one more, although he’s still not a big dribbler
Stu
Clearly this is a soft german team out there. Even Nuer isnt starting ffs.
Clearly thats now fecked off my fantasy team.
I like Trachowski.
I disagree A. Lampard could play CM, Muller is much more of an attacker and although he plays centrally for Bayern its his pace and dribbling ability that allows him to be so effective out wide for Germany.
I remember us being linked with Trochowski about 2 summers ago, as a potential DM. Dont remember which paper ran that rumour but clearly they had done no research (as usual).
Yeah Stu, but they do have similar attributes. Lampard started deeper and moved a bit further forwards, Muller started further forwards, and I expect him to end up a bit deeper, in a similar sort of role.
I remember us being linked with Steven M’Bia.
LOL
Well they do play a similar position for their respective clubs but not the same role imo. Both play as the AM but thats where the similarities end imo.
Lets face it, we’ve been linked with nearly everyone.
Stephane M’Bia. I don’t get the joke is he shite?
We were linked the club wanted 20m or so…turns out he plays RB now.
Muller is one of them luxury players, he can play in a variety of positions and can do well in them all. Looks like a super player
He only plays right back for Cameroon cause Le Guen hasn’t a clue. Apparently had a great season winning Ligue 1 with Marseilles despite a couple injuries during the season.
Why do you say that Stu?
Imo both are goalscoring midfielders, good with both feet, make late runs into the box, and are very efficient but not spectacularly talented
Oh dear
Forlan is a fucking stud!
Big mistake to Start Cacau…he’s been useless.
I think we had someone in here saying we should make a move for Friedrich on the basis of this tournament, why not Klose too? Despite the fact they both had terrible seasons last season.
What a game this is
That Boateng is gooood.
Boateng has played left back and right back and City has just bought him as a CB. hmmm
uruguay have there own flapmunia between the sticks
Cacau ruined that with the pass and then Ozil tried to be too clever.
I prefer his brother tbh
yea the pass was behind a bit
well, i picked Germany to win 4-2 in the Yahoo! Fantasy game, so at least that is still alive. (although the rest of my picks have been dismal)
Diego Perez…Sign him up
Who George? Oh Kevin Prince nah bollocks to that he’s absolute filth and over a season inconsistent. I think the only keepers in this tournament who have come out very well are Handanovic and Neuer. That Dutch keeper is dodge, so too Marchetti, Begnaglio needs someone to take his kick outs. Muslera has done alright too. Thats about it.
If you’s had to sign one german who’d it be? A needed one at that. The Schwein? Ozil? Mertesacker? Muller? Neuer?
Nuer
1 The Schwein
2 Muller
3 Mertesacker
4 Neuer
5 Friedrich
6 Ozil
7 Lahm
8 Cacau
but i would be happy to add any of these
I would sign….Neuer because we need a keeper.
After that i would sign Schweinstiger because he is fucking class but he isnt really a box to box player which is really what we want between Cesc and Song.
You get one Dave. ME it’d be either Mertesacker or I dunno Rene Adler. I’m assuming he’s better than Neuer since he was gonna be their number one but got injured before the tournament.
I think Neuer has established himself as number one for Germany, at least until he makes a major fuck up and allows Adler back in.
If it is one with out current needs it would have to be Neuer, but i hope/think we will definitely be addressing that situation.
Schweinstiger is the kind of guy that would rather die than let a Wigan incident ever happen.
Ozil, muller, khaderia, swineflu and the back 4 will do for me lol
khediara…sign him up
I missed the start was klose on? If not they should bring him on as he has chance to be their top scorer?
Neuer though is only in cause Adler got injured. I’d give my left nut for Mertesacker or Subotic, Handanovic and Inler. We’d win big with them added to our current squad.
Have to say Boatengs passing has been immaculate
I forgot Joachim Löw
I see the Dutch have already assigned themselves winners by editing Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_World_Cup
Someone already corrected it on Wikipedia.
Forlan for the Golden Boot with this shot?
stupid foul
Khedira has been class… he’d be the perfect Holding midfielder to allow Cesc and Nasri to create in the midfield. He is apparently out of contract next summer. Probably would cost about 10-12 mill. Unless shity come in and pay 25mill
Get some of those germans in – hopefully they’re less likely to fuck off to Spain after a while!
Prefer Inler but yeah Khedira has looked impressive this tournament. And let’s face it Stuttgart are shit.
I think Inler isnt as good technically. Could do a deal in sending Rosicky the other way.
Nah Rocky can still do a job for us
Khedira with his contract expiring is interesting, that would be a nice little addition. Can he play centre back too?!
Khadira also had Schweinstiger sitting in front of the defence. He wasnt the only defensive player in Germanys midfield. It was well worked out though that one of the 2 stays back while the other goes forward.
Unless Joe Cole comes in…Then again Him and Rosicky can rotate, As they will both be injured.
Has anyone else seen that Joao Moutinho has moved to Porto for 11m. That transfer has gone completely under the radar.
Sweini has also been class, I’d have him. But would never believe he would leave Bayern.
Good game that. Ozil seems another AA23. Long stretches in the 2nd half I forgot he was even playing.
Rosicky is past it
Stu
Yes saw that. One that would never do well away from home. Exactly like Veloso. Amazing to think in 2006 they were on their way to take the world by storm under Scolari with Portugal, well Moutinho any way.
Nah Dave I think you’re wrong. I hear ya Stu it’s cause last year Sporting had one of their worst seasons ever and players like him and Veloso were shit. Moutinho didn’t make the Portugal squad. Pants he is
Ideally we cant afford to lose cesc, if we have any aspirations of winning the league this season. Any if Wenger was going to sell him he would have left by now.
Well if anything this tournament has showed how important it is to keep Fabregas at Arsenal cause all of the so called replacements or alternatives like Hamsik, Gourcuff, Affellay (even though he hasn’t been given much game time), Pastore haven’t impressed or in the case of Gourcuff, who lots like, have been shite. Ozil has been the only one to impress but you’d still have Cesc over him.
if Rosicky doesn’t have a good consistent (major) injury-free season then he should go at the end of it…
Gourcuff wouldnt be able to adapt at arsenal, he struggled at Milan and thats alot slower than the EPL.
I think Wenger has talked cesc round to stay this year. And he will see how we do this year.
Marko
Spot on. And as I just said, in the 2nd half I forgot Ozil was even playing. Seriously! Another AA23 I think.
Good player but until he does something he is always on the periphery. Cesc has the uncanny ability to be ‘connected’ to the game for the full 90 minutes.
Very few have that consistency and ability at his age. If we have serious designs on winning anything, Cesc is central to that.
Agree Chris Beef. So many just wanna get rid the heartless pricks lets at least give him a chance to prove his fitness and ability is back, give him till the end of the season. Also agree Gooner P
Arshavin is on James Cordons shit show with Edgar Davids and that boyband from x factor who i hate. He must be disgusted that he is surrounded by such shit.
Really a massive shame poor old Ramsey got that fucking injury cause in the short time he’s been with us even the dumbest football fan could tell he was getting better and better and better with each game, even a mate a die hard United fan said to me last season Ramsey was looking brilliant. He was becoming destined to be as good or potentially better than Cesc and he had a couple years on him. Just hope he comes back having not lost anything in his locker.
Marko, dont judge a player, any player, on international performances. Saying Gourcuff, Hamsik etc arent good enough because they showed it at the WC is ridiculous because players perform differently in different curcumstances. How else can you explain england being so shit?
Lampard, 20 goals a season regularly for chelsea but never looked like scoring at the WC (regardless of his goal that wasnt) and the same with lots of players.
Gourcuff didn’t make it at Milan because the team was built around Kaka, not because he wasn’t good enough or couldn’t handle the pace of the game….
I’d love him at Arsenal, though I doubt it’ll happen, especially not if Cesc doesn’t go anywhere, would be amazing if Cesc stayed and Gourcuff game in anyways!
I hear ya Stu but maybe we should judge Gourcuff on not being able to hack it at Milan. But the flipside of that is some of us on here regularly judge a player on say he’s just back from injury or he’s just had an inconsistant season. On Lampard I think the likes of him, Gerrard and Ferdinand have gone down a level or in the latter two’s cases a couple of levels.
Agree marko about ramsey. He’s gonna be class. Do any of yous think RVP will ever leave arsenal
Na, If he were to leave, it will be when he is about 30 to go back to Feyernoord.
I think A just answered for me.
I doubt VP will want to leave if we are winning things. Its not like there are any big dutch teams that would take him of us.
I’d rather see Nuri Shahin from Dortmund this guy is class. Would only cost about 10mil typical wenger signing.
I mean he’s a good player I’m just making a point that if we’re replacing Cesc with Gourcuff then we’re not gonna be better but worse of. He also picks up niggly injuries has well. Ozil is probably the only serious option really, Affellay is more of a winger. A shame Italian football and Juventus fucked Diego up and set him back a couple years cause he was super looking a couple years back.
Isn’t Sahin not an attacking midfielder but like box to box or defensive.
