Why don’t Arsenal report Barcelona to FIFA? New winger on the horizon?

by & filed under Uncategorized.

I really don’t understand why Arsenal don’t report those scumbags to FIFA, we have the moral high ground and we have the legal ground, they made a bid for a contracted player, we flat out turned them down and told them that no further bids would be welcomed, and since then, they haven’t stopped yacking.

By saying nothing, we make a mockery of our club and are allowing them to continue to unsettle our player, Cesc must think we are after the money by saying nothing, it makes my blood boil.

I bet Ferguson would have something to say if Barca did this to them with Rooney, so far now they have had Puyol, Iniesta, Xabi, Pique and now Messi all having conversations about Cesc definitely wanting to join them. I would also like to know why Platini has said nothing, he had plenty to say when Eduardo went down against Celtic, French muppet.

The longer this goes on, the more I am going off Cesc, and Arsenal have a lot to answer for that, it’s almost like they are wanting us to dislike him, so that when they do take it up the arse from Barca, we won’t care, just like they did with Ade. Very clever, not.

Or is all this just a shitstorm in a tea cup? Should we all believe that Cesc is bigging us up to his Spanish team mate Juan Mata as reports suggest? He is by all accounts going to be better than David Silva, well if thats true, then maybe he could be the sneaky one coming in under the radar that people expect from Wenger.

Having said all that though, our record with young and Spanish, is not that great, Reyes and Merida both wanted to go back, Cesc has always said he wants to go back.

The shame of it all is the one Spanish player we want to go back, will only leave if we kick him out!

Liverpool up first next season, our new kit on display and know doubt we’ll be on ESPN, just like we were last season, I’m already looking forward to it and just hope I’m going to see a new team, the last time I saw Jack Wilshere in an Arsenal shirt for 90 minutes, was at Anfield for the Youth Cup final, so maybe that’s an omen.

Also by then the scousers may be without Gerrard and Torres and with Carrager knackered and Mascerano on extended leave, they should be there for the taking.

Is it August yet?

Have a fun day Grovers, today is Friday, England are playing tonight, so go and fill your car up with BP petrol, get the beers ready and have a great evening.

well we got another game tonight GG !

more do or die stuff …

England still have a shot , but must win next time ..

  2. Stu

The expectations are on his shoulders, not because of anyone arsenal related, but because of the hattrick he scored for England..also the only time he has scored for england.

Wenger is right in the way he has gone about developing Theo. Slow and steady. Like i said, it worked with Ramsey and countless other youths that have come through at other clubs. THeo just isnt working.

Most players, by the time they have 130 games under their belt have got some sort of consistency to their game, regardless of their age. Theo has no consistency, at any level.

And as far as im concerned he is a winger now. Not a traditional one but a right forward. Arsenal and England both play a variation of 4-3-3 and Theo plays in the same position for both. If he was a CF someone would have tried him there. Natural position means nothing, you play where you are at your best and most useful…which isnt the middle according to Wenger, Capello or Pearce.

And on that note, im off to sleep. Watching england be second best took a lot out of me. ;) Night Ethan..

    WHERE R U FROM JAY :) ??????????????????????

    has England lost ????

    seeya stu …

still think your not giving the lad enough time ..

like i said in my 1st paragraph , time will tell ..

but i think he will become good at Arsenal ..

  5. David

Theo never shy’s away in a big game. This is a fact.

There’s no way he’d have looked as toothless as the two planks that were picked ahead of him

  6. Jay

dAVID WHAT YOU Ssid I DID BELIVEE BUT WALCOT IS AND ENGLISH DREAM WHICH WILL NEVER HAPPEN AN RAMSEY IS THE ONLT MAN OF PURER GENIUS!

  7. Stu

    Sorry David, cant resist:
Nicklas Bendtner 57 starts 55 sub 44 goals 14 assists.

Less assists but quite a few more goals. And it should be noted that we only changed to 4-3-3 recently. There was always 2 forward position and Theo was rarely picked there, Bendtner was and its simply because he is better.

    Now im definately going. Bye.

  8. ethangunner

the problem is capello fucked up his selections .
and for all his promised shaking up of this English team he has provided essentially a steve mclaren or sven team ..

    exact;y

    he bottled it big time

  10. ethangunner

totally agree david , theo like jack inst intimidated to take anyone on , and that a bit nieve but he will only learn more if he has more time on the pitch ..

and that is the problem ..

for the 1st 2 or 3 years wenger used him way to sparingly and out of position ..

talk about trying your best to damage someones career .

  11. Stu

Sorrym, should be 36 goals. Still miles better than Theos record though. I guess this proved Theo is a winger and Bendtner is a better Striker.

  12. ethangunner

Either way, for someone who wants to be a CF only getting 16 goals in 130 games is shocking.

well stu for THEO’s 1st 2 seasons we had greedybyor
wanting to be spoon fed every pass from the wing ..

how many chances to score do you get when someone is prompting you constantly for the ball ????

  13. ethangunner

think of the AC milan game . theo created both and should of got the finish he deserved ..

he was instrumental in that victory .. and played like a demon ..

then England played him as a striker he gets a hat trick , does his shoulder and has been on limited time ever since .. for over 18 months .

    HELLO ????????

  14. ethangunner

    Stu

nik has had more time in his natural position and more time on the pitch these last 2 seasons because our strike options are in the toilet …

    or treatment room :)

  15. ethangunner

and England have the same problem Arsenal does , lack of quality strikers …

it was so important for capello to take theo IMO .
if rooney is injured as much as i hate the cunt its over for England ..

i think rooney like a lot of the english regulars under preform when in the England lineup.

  16. Jay

Rich girl she buys her dream its a rich world behind the scense green eyes they tell it al the harder she crys the harder she falls!

  17. ethangunner

but like you said stu , they are not playing players in the right position because too many play in the same spot for their respective clubs .

sounds a bit like theo and 1/2 our other players .

being played out of position is a stupid thing to do to someone that young , sure do it to a 25 year old CM , to a winger …

but not bring in a 17 year old striker and try turning him into a different animal all together ..

theo is a straight out victim of wengers stinginess .

he should of never been a winger .. it stunted his natural ability .

& so you all don’t think I’m being too hard on the precious England players.

    England booed by their own

There was no happy birthday for Fabio Capello in Cape Town as England was booed by its own supporters following a dreadful 0-0 performance against Algeria that leaves its World Cup hopes hanging by a thread.

  21. MickyDidIt89

    Morning Gnarley
Wow that was very bad football. Still, we have hope. Just need to change the tactics a bit, some of the players and the manager and we could be looking at the quarters.
I am already trying to decide who to back after England go out. Certainly one of the South Americans.

  22. MickyDidIt89

Certainly seems that Holland are the second team of choice for most Grovers. Don’t get it. It will be Chile, Argentina then Brasil in that order for me.

  23. ethangunner

the strike options look too weak ..
and once Shrek starts flapping his face
you just know he will be more full of excuses than talent ..

even if theo is weak and gives the ball away at least he has a thing called creativity ..

and pace .. i would of backed him to at least hold his own , and now seeing the teams performance , id say even when theo plays shit he does better than i saw for 80 % of them play last night !

  24. MickyDidIt89

I think Englands only choice is to protect a shocking defence, then add the only players who may actually score a goal. So for me:
    Back 5
    Carrick Barry
    Gerrard
    SWP Rooney Cole

  25. MickyDidIt89

The other day I was watching a Honduras game. The commentator mentioned that in the 50′s, they lost a game to El Salvador and as a result, declared war on them. Naturally this gave me some ideas. Who would I like England to lose to. I thought Switzerland may be a good idea, what with all their large pots of cash.

  26. MickyDidIt89

So no thoughts on my England line up. I reckon it has large elements of bus parking combined with opportunites for the full backs to get forward and support some flair players.

There’s a starman waiting in the sky
He’d like to come and meet us
But he thinks he’d blow our minds
There’s a starman waiting in the sky
He told us not to blow it
‘Cause he knows it’s all worthwhile

IS THIS DIRECTED AT WENGERS TRANSFER POLICIES :) ???

  28. MickyDidIt89

Bowie total genius. Only saw him once in about ’82, and even that was way too late. Still there was plenty of good live stuff at that time. Clash still around, New Order still good, Banshees and a bit of Iggy.

  29. ethangunner

    MICKY

ALL I KNOW IS THEO SHOULD OF PARTNERED ROONEY .
james is a far better keeper than any other .. even at his age he still looks at least SEMI – SOLID .

    cole needs to play and
HESKEY needs shooting and made into glue !

  30. ethangunner

i like too much music ..
to be honest .. im more into placebo – disturbed – dep MODE , dead before sunrise , switchfoot ,kasbian ,kings of leon ..

and real EARTHY ALT. music ..

    limp biz kit .. !

  31. MickyDidIt89

If you mean Theo in a 4-4-2, then right now the only option would be
    Back 5
    SWP Gerrard Barry Cole
    Rooney Defoe

Personally I prefer my 4-2-1-3 set up

  32. ethangunner

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Italy goalkeeper Federico Marchetti after failing to land Mark Schwarzer from Fulham.

The Gunners are also monitoring AZ Alkmaar’s Argentina international Sergio Romero and Arsene Wenger is checking out targets first hand at the World Cup in South Africa.

thats a bit of good news ..

    Schwarzer was shit canned ..

  33. ethangunner

yes micky id also ass carrigher .. the prick gave up internationals ages ago !

shame they talked him back into it :)

  34. MickyDidIt89

Yeah, heard that yesterday. Any thoughts on who he may be on about. GK, CB or DM? My money would be on someone, I for one, have never heard of!

Just watched a Rick Stein Food Heros & it showed jellied eels as an East End of London favourite. It looked like canned cat food :( Horrid

  36. ethangunner

rooney by himself is largely ineffective ..
he is better in a 3 across the front line .. like Man U.

he is as capable of playing the loan role as effectively and NIK B :)

  37. ethangunner

    mick rumored transfers ..
i should imagine 1 or 2 of the below joining us ..

cole M – Koscielny CD- pinnaer M-jagelka CD- marchetti GK-
    Sergio Romero GK

Arsenal captain Fabregas reiterates desire to play for Barcelona

“All I will say is that what I said in Port Aventura (” I want to go to Barça “) I said that because that is what I feel,” he was quoted as saying by Spanish daily the Marca. ”But I repeat, I have nothing more to say.”

Speaking from Spain’s World Cup training camp in South Africa, Fabregas said he preferred to concentrate on his national team at present.

“The less said on the (transfer) subject the better,” he said. “I’m very calm, but right now my objective, and everyone knows it, is trying to be selected in the World Cup. I want to help the team. After the World Cup, there will be other things on my mind, but I’m now focused on the World Cup, getting a win against Honduras and doing well.”

However, according to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, new Barcelona president Sandro Rosell, who is “convinced” Fabregas will play at the Nou Camp next season, will talk to the Arsenal captain on a trip to South Africa.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that the 23-year-old is staying put, and has even said that the two have never even discussed the player’s future, reminding him that he has a contract with the Gunners until 2015.

Rosell was elected as new Barcelona president earlier this weekm and reportedly made it known to other club officials that he has placed a 45 million-euro cap on a bid for Fabregas

  39. MickyDidIt89

I heard a French Journo with inside access to French players saying something going on between AFC and Koscielny.

There used to be great smokehouses, but now most of my mates have given up the whacky backy.

The best smoked atlantic salmon is Tasmanian.
