So the revolving doors begins, will we do the usual, more out than in? Or will we get the world record for FREEs?

by & filed under Uncategorized.

We have signed Chamakh on a free, good news indeed, one in, but we already have two out on frees with Merida and Senderos, one in 2 out so far, well we know that Gallas, Silvestre and possibly Campbell are next out, so that would be 5 out and 1 in, so by my calculations we will need 4 new signings just to stand still.

Doing business with Fulham would have been a smart move, given they wanted Senderos, but I’m sure they shook hands on something. Good luck anyway Phil, you were a much loved player, error prone maybe, but loved all the same, you’ll get a great reception when you return.

Now we know every year we have more out than in, and we have signed a 17 and 16 year old, but they are for the future and Wellington (19) won’t arrive until January, so if we are to strengthen this season, we will have to be very busy indeed, Cesc seems to be upping his value with every game so he is doing us a lot of good but as Wenger always says, no more than 3 in or the balance gets affected, now whilst I don’t believe that, I am getting concerned that a team like ManU have spent £20mil already and they owe over a billion and all we have is a free in and probably 5 out, and that doesn’t include Cesc Fabregas, who looks like he will also be going.

If we get rid of the players on the fringes, like Simpson, Hoyte, Barazite, Gilbert and Randall, and then those that are not good enough like Almunia and Denilson, we are facing a massive spending spree, or another influx of youth.

Maybe our wily old fox has a plan, great, but what if there is no plan? It’s not like that hasn’t happened before is it!

I also read that Ronaldo was very close to signing for us, unfortunately the Mancs offered more for him, at £12mil, it didn’t seem such a risk did it.

Oh well, no point in going over old ground, perhaps we have agreed all sorts of deals that can’t be made public until after the world cup, maybe July will be busy, it’s not as if all the other teams are tearing up the transfer market is it?

What about signing Petrov on a free, he’s now available, maybe we will get the world record for all our new players signing on frees, Petrov, Cole, Assulin and Chamakh, I wonder what keepers, centre backs and defensive midfielders are currently available of frees?

There was a question from a number of grovers yesterday about some bloggers continually having a pop at our management and players, well it’s hard to tell people what to think, that wouldn’t make it a place to have an opinion, the only time I block people is if they come on for a row, or insult fellow bloggers, so let’s all try and be positive and have some fun today, you know who I mean and you know who you are. I’m not judging, just making a friendly suggestion.

I know Arsene could help by opening up his purse, but don’t hold your breath, he must however by now see the writing on the wall, there’s nothing wrong with changing tack boss, in the real world we do that all the time, as the market dictates, and you know what? If we don’t do it soon, we could get left behind.

One thing is for sure, we will get injuries, live with it, plan for it and see where it takes us, otherwise your beloved 4th spot could come under a bit of pressure this coming season and that would be a shame in what maybe your last season.

Have a fun filled and happy blogging day Grovers, the world cup starts in a few days and maybe things will start to fall into place.

    2009/2010 season:

This is how the squad looked before the season started:

    Goalkeepers:
    Manuel Almunia
    Lukasz Fabianski
    Vito Mannone
    Defenders:
    Bacary Sagna
    Thomas Vermaelen
    William Gallas
    Mikaël Silvestre
    Gaël Clichy
    Kieran Gibbs
    Armand Traoré
    (Philippe Senderos)
    (Johan Djourou)
    Midfielders:
    Alexandre Song
    Denìlson
    Cesc Fàbregas
    Abou Diaby
    Samir Nasri
    Emmanuel Eboué
    Tomás Rosický
    Aaron Ramsey
    Fran Mérida
    Forwards:
    Robin van Persie
    Eduardo
    Nicklas Bendtner
    Andrei Arshavin
    Theo Walcott
    Carlos Vela

The goalkeepers were the same, but by this time i was not so convinced by them to be honest, still i was hoping for Fabianski to come good…
The defence lost Touré but bought Vermaelen and i for one knew him after following the Dutch league on a regular…also was hoping for Djourou to come back from his injury…(he did, but only for the last 20 minutes of the season!)
The midfield looked exactly the same but with the addition of Rosický coming back from injury (finally)
Though during the final week before the season started we lost Nasri to injury…
Overall though, the midfield was the same…
The forward-line lost Adebayor but by then i and almost every Arsenal fan was glad he left…and also Eduardo was back from injury and Arshavin started his first FULL season so i was happy with our forwards…

I really believed we could fight for the title this year also because United lost Ronaldo and Chelsea didn’t really strengthen their team by much…

The result was 3rd spot again, but we kept ourselves in the title race almost until the end, but honestly we never were close…

There you have it, season by season, and the funny thing is the only season when i really thought we’d never compete for the title was the 2007/2008 season and then we went the closest we’ve been since winning the damn thing…

  2. Gooby

looks like Jaguar entertainment spreads to a certain blog cultured left foot of something that, it was a quite funny read to be honest :D

  3. Arsene Nose Best

Guys dont worry abt the planks that were here earlier. Don is Jaguar from Le-Grove. He really surprised me because i didnt think his vocabulary had more words than retard and senile. Stepanov is the old english twat TAIG. Forza is the skinny Irish plank Stu

If Wenger wants to improve our squad this upcoming season, it’s simple really:

    The Goalkeepers:
Buy a better goalkeeper than the 3 we have now (shouldn’t be too difficult).

    The defence:
We’ve lost Senderos (though he didn’t play anything last season, we will lose Gallas so we need a defender that’s better than him (to improve), we also need a good back-up defender instead of Silvestre (again shouldn’t be so difficult to find one better than him)
We also need someone on the right-back that can compete with Sagna, and hopefully can cross better than Sagna, Sagna is good defending but not so good attacking and crossing the ball…

    The Midfield:
Well, it all depends on if we lose Cesc or not, but i for one would like the replacement for him to come before he leaves…
If he leaves now then we must buy Gourcuff now!
If Cesc doesn’t leave now, but is assured to leave next summer then buy Gourcuff now anyway!
Then we need another DM to compete with Song!
And then we need a GREAT Winger that can CROSS THE BALL INTO THE BOX!!!

The forwards look Good enough at this point, no need for anymore additions there!
van Persie, Chamakh, Bendtner, Walcott, Vela, Eduardo & Arshavin is good enough to compete!

    So conclusion:
1 Goalkeeper (better than what we’ve got now)
1 right-back (to compete with Sagna)
    2 CD (1 replacement for Gallas & 1 for back-up)
1 DM (to compete with Song)
1 Winger (cause we have no REAL winger in this squad)
1 playmaker (replacement for Cesc, even if he doesn’t leave now)
That’s 6 more players to add beside the already signed Chamakh!
And if you ask me, these are the players to get:

    1 GK (Hart or Akinfeev)
    2 CB (Subotic & Taylor)
    1 RB (van der Wiel)
    1 DM (Yaya or Melo)
    1 Winger (Hazard)
    1 MF (Gourcuff)

That’s 7 players to sign, and if we get Joe Cole that’s only a bonus!

How much would these players cost then?

Well, i don’t care, we should have the money cause only Gourcuff & Yaya would be expensive, the others would go for £10-12M each at the most!

And we’ll sell some of the players we have now too so we’ll have the cash, i’m sure of that!
Let’s say we must pay just under £100M for those players, and we get say around £20M for the players we sell, (Fabianski, Denìlson, Eduardo, Traoré, Simpson to name a few)
Then we need to put up maybe £75M and we have that i’m sure…
If we sell Cesc now we could even add a couple of more players…

So, it’s simple, if Wenger wants to improve on every position this is how he should do it!

(Did i mention that i’ve had 7 beers by now…)

as it terns out arsenal are not the only ones who are having problem with gallas high wage demands all the clubs linked to him have backed off which does not suprise me.on joe cole although would love to see him in arsenal shirt i think manu are favourates to get him but i dont think it would be end of world if dont get him seeing the reason why he is leaving chelsea is because his wage demands i am not sure if arsenal would meet his demands.but he such class player it would a shame to miss out on him.also i think if a realy good offer comes in eboue he might go i feel troae will leave

  9. RayGooner

If we have this squad going in to the next season then we WILL fight for EVERY competition we enter:

    Goalkeepers:
    Joe Hart (or Igor Akinfeev)
    Wojciech Szczesny
    Vito Mannone

    Defenders:
    Bacary Sagna
    Gregory van der Wiel
    Neven Subotic
    Thomas Vermaelen
    Steven Taylor
    Johan Djourou
    Gaël Clichy
    Kieran Gibbs

    Midfielders:
    Yaya Touré (or Felipe Melo)
    Alexandre Song
    Cesc Fàbregas
    Yoann Gourcuff
    Samir Nasri
    Aaron Ramsey
    Eden Hazard
    Abou Diaby
    Tomás Rosický
    Joe Cole

    Forwards:
    Robin van Persie
    Andrei Arshavin
    Marouane Chamakh
    Theo Walcott
    Nicklas Bendtner
    Carlos Vela

    nigerian,

taig’s comment of 9:58 where he used the bold html code made the rest of today’s comments appear in bold on the firefox browser that I use. I was unsuccessfully trying to get rid of it.
    It’s ok in IE8.

This is gonna sound a bit “yeah yeah”, but a friend of a close friend works for Cole’s agent, David Geiss.
Apparently the “official word” is that Cole hasnt decided where he will play next season and no official approach has been made from any team to sign him.
This “official word” is cos he is at the World Cup so dosent want anything distracting the England camp with non England talk.
He is seen as successor to Fabregas and this is how it was sold to him and his agent, Arsenal just hanging for best price for Cesc.
If they announce signing of Cole, Barca can pay lower price for Cesc, something like that. Its a joint thing between Cole’s agent and Arsenal to ensure both parties get the best deal possible and Cole can concentrate on England without domestic talk pissing Capello off.

  12. RT.Z

    England

    ————- Hart ———–

    Johnson — Carrager — Terry — A.Cole

    Lennon ———————-J.Cole

    ———-Rooney———–

  13. RT.Z

Arsenal will make michael ballack an offer to arrive on a free transfer to the Emirates. The deal will be worth about £80,000 per week and he will as Wenger sees it operate as the connection between Song and Fabregas in the central 3 in the arsenal midfield.
Despite a reasonably high wage offer it does seem though that Ballack will rejct this offer due to the wage drop from his £120,000 per week deal at Chelsea and the fact that some teams in Dubai (Al Wasl and Al Shabab) will offer him wages in excess of £100,000 per week (+ there is no tax there so it is the equivilent of £200,000 per week in England). But despite these huge offers from Dubai expect Ballack to reurn to his beloved Germany to either Hamburg SV or Bayern Leverkusen with his prefferd destenation, Bayern Munich, not requiring him due to the top class form of Van Bommel so one of these two rich german clubs will do there best to snap him up.

Regarding the Joe Cole saga it does seem that he would rather stay in London as he has a settled family and is happy living there and has a good hting going with many charities in London. So it seems as though he will either go to Tottenham/Arsenal. OUt of the two it is more likely that it will be totenham as Arsenal have many wide players and hissigning would be expensive wage–wise in an are were Arsenal already have a lot of depth (nasi, arshavin, walcott, vela, wilshere)

  14. RayGooner

Joe Cole a successor to Cesc???

    You must be joking…

a successor usually is younger isn’t he? (like Ramsey)
Or at least the same age (like Gourcuff)

Cesc is 23, Cole is 29…

and also, what a players agent says (if he did say it) doesn’t mean it’s what the club (Arsenal) is saying…

The agent of a player is ONLY interested in what’s better for the player…

Cole would be a good player to have (when fit) to help out with his experience but he won’t be given a long-term contract if he signs, therefor can’t be named as a successor to anyone, just an addition to strengthen the squad!

  15. SUGA3

that was probably pretty lame German ;)

according to that site, he is out of contract and thank fuck for that…

    what baffles me is:

    1) why wouldn’t he play for the new contract or a new club
    2) why would AW play him?

  16. Stu

Dont be so harsh on yourself SUGA, im sure its fantastic German

I cant believe that someone like him being out of contract wouldnt be common knowlegde, especially among us Gooners. I mean how can we throw him a ‘fuck off’ Party if we dont know he is leaving?

  17. SUGA3

well, I don’t know, really, this is just another proof of how ‘secretive’ our club is…

I am quite happy for Schwarzer to come, he is solid enough, I remember him causing me a few headaches at Boro and Fulham…

  18. LAzer

Stu if you go to the scroll box and select Premier League it shows Almunia as a transfer out on the right hand side for Arsenal.

  19. SUGA3

    Keyser,

quite frankly, I came across the information about him being out of contract only a few weeks ago myself – I thought he was on a contract a bit longer than that too!

  20. Jaguar

Suga3 mate. That site doesnt show Shitvestre being a free agent. So he will be offered a new contract?

Btw,I hope you enjoyed reading the posts in the unculturedbullshit site. ;)

  21. SUGA3

I sure did, some of them actually agreeing with you lot was priceless…

it’s not big and it’s not clever to rip the piss out of the, er, ‘less fortunate’, but still…

    about Sly:

    http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/micka%C3%ABl-silvestre/profil/spieler_3393.html

out of contract, if he is offered a new one, I’ll scream…

and oh, check out how many Arsenals there are:

Those cunts at A Cult of a Left Foot were agreeing with you!!

    Mugs

  24. BillikenGooner

So with J. Cole, Ballack and Petrov all out there for free, what are the chances Wenger picks up one for the “experience card” he claimed he was going to use this transfer period?

  25. SUGA3

jokes aside, fair play to him – he did whatever he could taking into the account that he was:

    - old
    - pretty shit
    - played out of position ahead of a perfectly good CB

  26. zeus

    Suga

Sylvestre is a manc trhough and through. He was sent here to destroy us. In just 2 years, how many points and cup ties have he cost us with loads of help from Almunianski of course.

  27. ethangunner

a bit late on this one :)

    good post ..

There was a question from a number of grovers yesterday about some bloggers continually having a pop at our management and players
    ———————————————
well all i can say is if we cannot critique our own
then no one has the right !

if your son is dressed in lime green pants and a pink turtle neck sweater , do you tell him he is dressed like a queer or do you just let him go out and find out for himself ?

  28. Jaguar

I read somewhere that Shitvestre’s transfer was the cunt Fergusons second best transfer after the lady boy

  29. SUGA3

    zeus,

to be honest, I am with Jag on this one (well, maybe apart from the whole lot of ‘French’ if you pardon the pun) – the buck stops with OGL as he was the one who could not resist a bloody bargain!

    NO !!

    but i will :)

  32. SUGA3

what really pissed me off was seeing played at the end of the season with Phil getting fucking splinters at Everton…

    great piece of management, that…

  33. SUGA3

to be honest, I would nt mind him coming – he is far from shit, good wide right player, pisses all over Walnutt…

then again, I can’t see AW bringing a player to compete with ‘TJ’ as it would ‘kill’ him, no?

  34. TinTin

i’d just be happy for him to start signing some players!! getting to the stage where not even bothered who!! didn’t he say he wanted transfers done b4 the the WC

  35. gambon

A front 3 of Remy, RVP & Arshavin would be very good.

Or Hazard instead. Either way we need a top class right sided player. Walcott is sit & Nasri is fat.

  36. Stu

Yeah its about 6’1 or 6’2. THats very tall for a winger. Would add height and, im assuming, pace too. Depending on how well he links up with others he could be a fantastic signing for the right wing. Its just a damn shame Theo is english because it means Wenger refuses to give up on him.

  37. TinTin

it’d be nice to get the GK, CB and CM situation sorted out b4 we start thinking about more forward players

  38. SUGA3

Jag, this is the Polish league we’re talking about here, yesterday’s result (and play) against Spain says it all, really…

I am Polish and I watched this twat earlier than most of you on here and I never wanted him at Arse in the first place…

    Jag,

he knows a fair bit about attacking and sweet FA about th other end, which is funny, given that he used to be a defender

  41. ethangunner

what is the point getting on he defending poor performances ? defending club management when it clearly is geared to GENERATE INCOME instead of play football .

i mean are you really fans ?
or is this your objectivity ?

If this club had a WAR CHEST would we be fucking around with free transfers , or trying to secure GOOD TARGETS EARLY ?

as far as im aware wenger has linked himself with no MONEY ORIENTATED TRANSFERS .. what does that tell you about ambition ?!

  42. ethangunner

what does that tell you about their
CONTINUAL RELUCTANCE TO SPEND .. ????

yes cole and the gay would be COULD good additions ,
but where is the leads wenger is working on , ON THE SPENDING MONEY TRANSFER SIDE ?!

surely you would be working on the free transfers anyhow . AS THERE FREE ..

but surely he is trying to bring in LONG TERM PROSPECTS he’s had his eye on too for seasons RIGHT ?

this club is covered with a good layer of BULLSHIT !@

  43. SUGA3

    Stu,

a sweeper may have no fixed position as such, but it’s closer to defence than attack anyway, no?

and this is curtains for me – nite!

    ;)

  44. Stu

WHat do you mean by “Wenger has linked himself with no money orientated Transfers” Ethan?

We have been linked with dozens of players already this summer who would cost to bring in. Only Chamakh and Cole have been linked who are on a free.

  45. ethangunner

this club claims its lined in gold ..
but all i see are a bunch of cheap charlies stock piling our money and repaying off real estate with your cash !

if people think this is sound management then they ‘ort to be reminded of what this organization is primary about !

    FOOTBALL !

    & dominance….

  46. Stu

Its more of an attacking position than orthadox CB though. Sweeper is expected to take the ball and play a simple pass. IMO its the prem that fucks our defending up. If we had the same defence in another league i think it would a great one. Wenger just doesnt want to give into the english mentality that a defender should be 6ft5 and manhandle the forwards.

i can see alot of free transfers being worked on ..
but where is wengers PLAN ? .. ok these guys signing will be good and a stroke lucky for us ..

but really what is wenger spending this WAR CHEST ON !?

who are we in the final stages of signing that we are going to spend 10 + mil on ?

  49. Stu

Well Chamakh did cost funds in wages and a signing on fee but i doubt thats what you mean.

I was curious why you suggested Wenger decided who we get linked with.

I doubt anyone we’ve been linked with is a serious target, which is unfortunate because i really rate some of them (particularly Gourcuff ;) .

  50. ethangunner

Stu only a few weeks ago some claimed wenger had 70 mil to spend ..

at least thats what was told to the fans to pay for there memberships ASAP .

now all i can see is a scramble to sign frees .

i mean as much as i think cole will be great , he has been crocked all last season , so much so even the chev’s dont want him at 28 !

and gay assassin :) has not had too many games last season who knows how good he is now ..

chamakh only scored 1 in 3 games .. is he prolific enough ?>

1 things for sure , there free enough …

all im saying is IF THE CLUB REALLY HAD THIS WAR
CHEST .. dont you think they would have at least signed 1 person with the funds ? and be linked like nasri with someone , ..

if THE CAHS really existed …

its not like we dont need 4 or so players …

  51. ethangunner

all big transfers like ronaldo to RM or rooney to man U . cesc to barca ..

are all public forums ..all drag on publicly , they all are bigger than ben-hur in the media ..

who are we hawking with our 70 MIL ?

not even a ripple in the pond ! pnly FREE RIPPLES .

makes you wonder how real this money is .. doesnt it !

  52. ethangunner

rumored initially with buffon , now we are down to the cheapest humanly possible alternative in schwazer ..

is that our big name 70 mil signing ?
because that’s the only serious rumor that wont go away
and that transaction is a whopping 3 mil :)

so 47 million back to the board !!!!!

a couple of more frees.. and bobs your uncle .

  53. ethangunner

    stu

you dont like me very much do you ?
    —————————————–
if wenger wanted to make a pitch or proposal for a player who could make a difference to this club he has had 10 days to do so . he would rather spend his time signing semi- risky free signings as against make a AA23 style signing , to a player who can change the clubs level of player ..

and hopefully with it our fortunes ..

are we linked with any top players ?

gourcuff’s going somewhere else stu …

and it was only an option for IF CESC LEAVES .
    (which he will )

because this club loves cash 1st , and if they sign cole for free they have replaced cesc effectively .

  54. Pat

Like I have been warning all of you, Gourcuff is at the same level Nasri was with L’OM and would be a major, major risk for 25-30 million.

Sources close to the French team suggested on Wednesday night that the majority of Domenech’s players would like to see Henry and Abou Diaby in Friday’s team at the expense of Yoann Gourcuff and Sidney Govou.

    Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/worldcup2010/article-1285385/Raymond-Domenechs-unhappy-French-stars-revolting-Thierry-Henry-axed.html?ITO=1490#ixzz0qPEeuihT

  55. ethangunner

i doubt we will sign anyone pat if we get cole ..
wellington is due to make a midfield attempt at the1st team this season , and you have jack – vela – theo lining up . and the fucking marmites ..

no chance wenger will make the lst any longer ..
especially if chamakh pushes AA23 back to the midfield .

  56. ethangunner

and rambo .. i suppose we are keeping denilson – eboue and the marmite tribe .. so song and diaby will get sniffs ..

not much is really changing here …

we are just losing quality from the midfield and the management will pocket the best part of 25- 30 mil for the black hole ..

the sale of cesc will fund any activity this season wenger wont over spend , in fact im sure he will make the board another windfall margin again this season , in his dealings ..

    fucking sad ..

  57. ethangunner

listen players in are players in

if we get chamakh – confirmed
joe cole – the gay assassin – and schwarzer

then its better than a kick in the teeth ..
but my problem is it wreaks of cheap charlie dealings
when we were promised so much more …

    Maybe Arsene Knows

Arsenal mentor Arsene Wenger says “tough cookies” Australia will be giving three-time champions Germany sleepless nights before their FIFA World Cup opener.

Wenger gave the Socceroos a 40 per cent chance of shocking Germany on Monday morning (EST), a result which would throw Group D wide open.

“If I was the national team coach of Germany and I had to play Australia, I wouldn’t sleep well,” Wenger said.

“Let’s say for me it will be 60 (per cent chance for) Germany, 40 Australia.

“I give them a chance against Germany but we’ll see.

    “It will be very interesting.”

Australia beat the odds to reach the last 16 of the 2006 World Cup before being controversially ousted by eventual winners Italy.

They are currently ranked No.20 in the world to Germany’s sixth.

“Usually they are very tough cookies in the World Cup, Australia,” Wenger said.

“Sometimes Germany are slow starters in the big competitions, maybe Australia can take advantage of that because it will make it a very interesting group.”

    Morning anyone.
I think Geoff said yesterday that Corporate sales were down 60 or 70%. Doesn’t that make up something silly like 30% matchday revenue?
I think we would have a great chance if we signed the usual suspects mentioned on here. GK, Hangerland’ish, Hazard’ish, Toulalon’ish, but don’t we need more of a name/prestige player to get the suits signed up? Is this was the Cole talk is really all about.
Oh and I reckon we will flog AA.

With mon ami noticing Oz, means that Schwarzer is to be signed IMO. Bout time The Club got some blood & guts in. No more poofy fancy pants goalkeeper stuff. Now the word s.a.v.e will be relevant @ Goonerland

  61. ethangunner

    yes , GG agree ..

listen i think schwazer is a good signing ,miles ahead of big Al anyhow …
his name just sounds too much like my X-wifes for me to feel at ease :)

    Evening MDI89

Is Blighty getting all worked up about the WC. I just bought a slab of Carlsberg stubbies & got a free footie. When I mentioned footie, the bloke @ the bottle shop said it is a soccer ball.

Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood has confirmed that the Gunners have made Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer their top target this summer.

Mirror Sport revealed on May 15 that 37-year-old Schwarzer is Arsenal’s target to replace Manuel Almunia. Hill-Wood also admitted that Arsenal are almost resigned to losing William Gallas, as revealed in yesterday’s Mirror Sport.

Schwarzer, who signed a new one-year contract with Fulham in April, is anxious to join Arsenal but the Gunners have had a bid knocked back. It is believed Fulham want £3million.

French veteran Gallas, 33 in August, is also a target for Paris Saint Germain and Roma after Arsenal refused to bend their rule on not giving over-30s more than a one year contract extension.

Gallas wants a new two-year deal worth £80,000-a-week. Arsenal are now looking at Lorient defender Laurent Koscielny and Dynamo Kiev’s Senegalese defender Pape Diakhate as potential replacements.

Hill-Wood added: “We certainly have made an inquiry for him (Schwarzer) and they (Fulham) are not prepared to sell him, so we have gone away.

“If someone else is prepared to pay him (Gallas) that, good luck to him. We would very much like him to stay for another year, but we are not too sure about two.”

ive followed Aussie football more closely than you think over years past ..

    for obvious reasons ..
    my aussie cousins ..
and we both know schwazer can drop some clangers ..

i just hope it gives him new vigor to perform ..
im just worried about his age …
its not a signing based on longevity , is it ????…
im mixed at wengers decision .

i would of preferred sorensen or even hart .. but
for 4 seasons in a row ive used the TERM beggars cant be choosers..

    INSERT HERE ….

dunno Gnarley, this Aussie team lacks the spark of 2006. Hard working grafty players but imo they lack the quality to even make it out of the group stages.
Serbia will be a tough nut to crack too imo. The Serbia Australia game will be the most important game. imo, the Yanks have a better team this time round.

The footballing world fucking quakes in their collective boots, Arsenal’s top target this summer is a 37 year old goalkeeper……….ha fucking ha, does this management really want the club to be taken seriously with fucking cunts like PHW allowed to gob off in the press…..

  68. MickyDidIt89

    Evening to you Gnarley.
I don’t think Blighty is quite as worked up as usual. The usual blind optimism appears to be lacking! Then again, I live in the heart of rugby country and havn’t been in London for a couple of weeks.
