He was fairly crap in his last season with us and since joining Barcelona they always played him on the left and sometimes dropped him for Iniesta on the left. Which means since he joined he was never the focal point of their attack thus not being in a position to score 20-30 goals in the spanish league which is what it usually took to win the pichechi or what ever. Since joining Barcelona I’d bet you anything that he’s never outscored Villa, Forlan, Eto’o maybe Messi and maybe even Fabiano.

25 year old Krasnic is highly rated but at £16 Million the question is does he represent value for money and while Joe Cole setting up camp at The Emirates is definitely a bargain his wages demands are sure to be an issue but with the prospect of Cesc Fabregas leaving for Barcelona still very real at least the blow be softened somewhat with the arrival of Cole and Krasnic.
Whether the reports in today’s Sunday papers are accurate is also another matter, at least on this occasion these three players have consistently been linked with Arsenal but until Wenger actually makes any concrete moves then nothing can be certain when it comes to the Frenchman’s intentions.

Thought the Pole at Brentford was the long term plan. I hope we don’t get shwarzer either. We need to stop banking on potential and just get Mr. Right now for the foreseeable future. Our GK situation is too laughable to do otherwise.

he re-signed SHEA in feb for a 3 year deal , as with vito . this martinez seems like he will be with internationale until he can get a WP based on international team appearances id say .
