Well there’s not a lot to talk about, Arsenal have told Barca to sling their hook, LaPorta and his team of in debt human ticks won’t stop talking and the latest sneaky trick is suggesting Cesc could buy himself out of his contract, what filth.
Well that can’t and won’t happen, why? Well because if it did then overnight the transfer market would be over, it would mean that any player could just pay off their contracts and the good ones simply wouldn’t sign one, what would be the point, they may as well just sign 12 month deals, it would screw over teams like Barca proper, it would equalise the transfer market by taking away the advantage the big teams have.
For instance, if Cesc was worth say £80mil to Arsenal, but his contract was £25mil, you see where I’m going with this? It would mean that Fabregas’s name would go into history like Bosman, people would say he’s gone on a Fabregas. That would make Cesc proud don’t you think? Best player in the world to scumbag that screwed over the transfer market, hmmm, interesting legacy!
We could then go and buy Kaka for a similar amount.
Now the silence is deafening and I still think he’ll stay and we will buy some quality players, but to be honest, I, just like a lot of you am remembering the Paddy Vieira days of will he? won’t he and it’s beginning to irritate me.
That Madrid refused to call him a Galactico so he didn’t go, I wonder if Cesc will feel the same with the £35mil valuation they have on him?
Like I say, Wenger will have to change, whichever way this goes because if he doesn’t, he will lose the mob, and once you’ve done that, it’s curtains, boy do we need David Dein back now, he would know how to handle this situation, in fact it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s somewhere behind the scenes doing a little bit of orchestrating right now!
Whatever happens Arsenal need to move on, Arsene Wenger said unless there was an exceptional talent out there he would not be buying after the world cup, well in my book he only has a week left, why does he do this every time, we had all this rubbish at the Euro’s with Nasri, why can’t we just have a normal manager?
Still having said all that no other team in the EPL has really started buying players yet, have they?
Have a nice weekend Grovers, only a week to go till the world cup, I don’t want France to win, I sure as hell don’t want Spain now, England are just a team of overpaid nasty pussies (Joe Cole aside) so maybe I will follow Holland, they are the closest I have to Arsenal. We’ll see!

i don’t think we’d get De Rossi, didn’t he turn down real madrid last season, he loves roma and would cost silly money anyway
Ideally i’d like to see:
Buffon
Sagna G.Cahill Vermaelen Clichy
Nasri Diaby De Rossi J.Cole
Arshavin
——-Van Persie
Bench from:
Szchesny, Mannone, Gibbs, Eboue, Song, Djourou, Ramsey, Rosicky, Denilson, Walcott, Chamakh, Bendtner, Wellington Silva
just in case you missed it d.d.m john cross says it’s a no go.
So if AW decides no on Joe Cole, it will be because he doesn’t want to kill…
Walcott?
Nasri?
Ramsey?
Wilshere?
Barazite?
wilshire’s going back to bolton on loan for 6mths so we can get cahill on the cheap.. I’ve already put money on it…
barazite? he’s not ever going to make it… Loan with option to buy sprngs to mind… We have to many near, but yet so far players..
Barazite, Randall, Gilbert, Hoyte, Sunu, Simpson, Ayling (already done so) might as well start looking for new clubs…
JE Thomas, Lansbury, Coquelin, Frimpong, Freeman, Bartley, Miguel, Eastmond & Evina need loans to competitive clubs to gauge there advancement…
De rossi is sadly never going to leave As roma
Ideally then (without De Rossi) i’d like to see:
Buffon
Sagna G.Cahill Vermaelen Clichy
Nasri Diaby Gourcuff J.Cole
Arshavin
——-Van Persie
Bench from:
Szchesny, Mannone, Gibbs, Eboue, Song, Djourou, Ramsey, Rosicky, Denilson, Walcott, Chamakh, Bendtner, Wellington Silva
gg
Imo if we revert to a 4-4-2, we need to play Walcott as a striker…but even then i’m not sure if Walcott has the football brain. i’m beginning to think that he’d be better off at Aston Villa where they just lump the ball forward for ashley young & GA to run onto
Robin
Diaby as the DM?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Not bothered about what that plum, or any other journo may or may not know! All i know is that it is/was a done deal so long as Wenger actually wants the player….
The meeting yesterday was for Arsene to make his decision.
If this random journo is correct that it’s a no go, it’s because Arsene has decided he doesn’t want Joe Cole, because as i already stated the financials were all agreed, and the player wanted to come to us….
DDM – Would you want Joe Cole though ?!
is anyone else getting that sinking feeling that this summer is going to be like last summer………one signing a relatively unknow CB and all of us waiting up until midnight on the 31st just hoping he’ll sign somebody else!!!
what the **** is a dm? It’s all new age bullox, created by claude makalele that worked a charm under “defensivly minded” mourinho and at Real Madrid during the galactico era…
2 central midfielders can still work ffs….
diaby and gourcuff are both big lumps and can play a bit..
Someone’s bound to come on and say they can’t work because of some bullox like they are both attack minded etc and we’d be exposed…
It could and should work as we have enough stability defensivly and with players like song (centre half/centre mid), eboue, walcott, bendtner, chamakh, rosicky and ramsey we remain flexible and able to adapt to other sides tactics, but the team i selected is one that starts off initially going out to WIN a football match…
However, wenger doesn’t do tactics and if 1 formation isn’t working he’ll throw on 2 strikers with 7mins to go when the game is already gone
Buffon
Sagna G.Cahill Vermaelen Clichy
Nasri Diaby Gourcuff J.Cole
Arshavin
——-Van Persie
Bench from:
Szchesny, Mannone, Gibbs, Eboue, Song, Djourou, Ramsey, Rosicky, Denilson, Walcott, Chamakh, Bendtner, Wellington Silva
= Excellent side…
d.d.m did they conduct the deal behind wengers back then ,surly he would want him if everything was agreed.
can’t see why AW would say no, if the money was agreed…we need a good winger, more British players (i think AW has said this publicly)…Cole has won trophies in the last 5 years, etc…
RCLS – What do you want to argue about ? Heh.
Come on.. Wenger does do tactics, that ideas rubbish, it’s like people calling Mourinho a tactical genius.
RCLS,
it’s not enough to be a lump, you have to be a bit defensively minded too – Diaby’s natural position is SS, the further aback he goes, the more out of position he is…
Why are we giving so much credence to this john cross fella. Reading hus twitter page at first he says that arsenal arent interested. Then he says we are interested but Utd are leading. Then he says we are in with a shout. Now its a no go? He’s obviously picking up on snippets like the rest of us
Diaby’s only dangerous trait is that he tries to dribble out of defense on occasions when he should be lumping it clear…
Diaby a 2nd striker? He’s played there twice maybe in europe for us but has plyed his trade on the left and in central midfield.. @nd striker his natural position ffs, people will be telling me walcott’s a striker next
People give him the benefit of the doubt, because he’s an Arsenal fan.
Yes, a proven winner, someone who’s coming to us as probably his last move, rather than using us as a stepping stone.
Don’t get me wrong, although he’s an improvement on what we’ve currently got, he’s not a priority signing for me. A priority signing is a goalkeeper and a centre back.
suga 3 – by big lump i mean physically imposing, diaby and gourcuff can shrug of challanges and players with consumate ease. They can quite easily be formed intyo a central midfield pairing, i mean after all wenger will just be reverting to original, title winning type.
If he can create some barca esque bullox 4-3-3 over a pre season he can quite easily revert back to a 4-4-2 in the same time frame.
This need for a defesive shield or studs up lunatic dross i keep hearing grows tiresome on my weary brow…
Diaby says he’s adapting a new fitness strategy. I want to see this man fit cause when he is he is the best mid in the world. And very sexy on the ball
Would have been nice to wrap up Joe Cole at the very least so that Arsenal would have one player in England’s World Cup squad.
I dont like how everyone is jumping on the Oranje bandwagon. Theyre my Oranje
mourinho is a tactical genius… There is no question about that…
It’s a little anti-football for those who pervay us and barca as the highest footballing enchelons..
But, Maureen brings home the bacon, Arsene bring home a trophy of champions league soccer for another season and some new kids to wait on at the moment…
Patience wears thin for some and the respite doesn’t seem anywhere on the horizion at the moment…
Well, look at what Mourinho actually does, whats soo genius about it ?!
Well for starters he certainly knows how to create a camraderie between the whole squad and gives them a us against the rest persona which top class, grown ups thrive on if they have any desires to be champions/the best…
He can change his tactics early during games when things aren’t working and utilises his players best attributes to mould them team a way where they function at optimum ability at all times…
The home record is proof of that…. Not lost at home in a league tie for what, 4,5,6 years?
what more do you want?
D.D.M,did they conduct the deal behind wengers back ,surly he would want him if everything was agreed.
*mould them into a team in a way where they function at optimum ability at all times…
Mourinhos record speaks for itself his won everywhere his gone, you don’t do that without been tactically sound
RCLS -Is that it ? thats tactical genius for you ?!
Real Madrid are trying to scupper Barcelona’s move for Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, news daily Marca claims.
The Merengues’ number-one transfer target to reinforce the centre of their midfield is believed to be Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard, but Madrid are looking at alternatives in case they fail to land the England international.
Fabregas has been strongly tipped to leave Arsenal after seven years with the Gunners, with Barcelona having already engaged in talks with the North London club.
However, Barcelona and Arsenal have so far been unable to reach a compromise for Fabregas, and Madrid could move in quickly to offer the 23-year-old a return to his homeland.
Marca indicates that Madrid will only table a bid for Fabregas if Gerrard stays at Anfield, as new boss Jose Mourinho is understood to prefer the Liverpool captain.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta revealed on Friday that his initial offer of £29 million for Fabregas had been rejected by the Arsenal.
——————————————————
Goal.com do ‘an half hate the arsenal… Their journalists are all spuds who love a shit stir (in more ways than one)
There stories have such fabulous quotes such as:
“goal.com understands” “goal.com has been made aware of” “close friends of the player have stated”
such a joke website!
that’ll do it for me KM..
What’s a tactical genius to you? Because, i’m a little bemused by your stance on this..
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnypB90zYBs&hl=en_GB&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0xcc2550&color2=0xe87a9f]
For those that missed it
Something that seperates him from the rest, something different, something new, something profound, Mourniho’s good, he’s tactically sound like TinTin says and thats about it.
I wouldn’t say what he did with Inter is the work of a genius. You don’t mould players like Lucio, Schnieder or Eto’o, or even Milito.
It’s like talking about formations, we’re fine with 4-3-3, if we’re constantly changing players next year because of injury or whatever, it won’t matter what formation we play.
RCLS,
I can’t be arsed to look for the video interview with Diaby where he says that it is actually his preferred position…
yes, he was played on the left (where he was pants, given that he has no idea that he has the left foot), right (where he did not impress either) and in the middle (where his efficiency increased the further upfront he was)…
he is not suitable to do defensive duties, mainly due to being too attacj minded…
Dennisdamenace – how about an update on what your contact is saying about new players?
Keyser,
you simply need to adapt – you need personnel to play 4-3-3, no?
likewise with any other formation – I reckon we would have fared much better if we went back to the basics and played 4-4-2 in the last few games with som many players out…
SUGA, whats Diabys prefered position? I assume he said attacking midfield because he is shite at defending.
i think we had to play 4-3-3 last yr just because we just don’t have the players for a 2 man CM, songs too slow to play in a 2, diaby couldn’t be trusted without a bit of defensive insurance behind him and denilsion just isn’t good enough whatever formation
RCLS,
as long as we don’t get a properly defensive minded players and/or enforcers, we shall continue getting the shit kicked out of ourselves and having all the precious midgets in the treatment room…
we could do with a monster in each bit of the formation, really…
and on that note, I am off to LDN to get shitfaced
Stu,
that will be behind the striker…
yes, he only played there a few times, but these games were when he was the most effective, simples…
True Suga..he is at his best behind the striker but he definately isnt good enough to warrant starting there ahead of Arshavin and the likes, should we decided to change formation that is.
Enjoy getting shitfaced.
There’s not much difference to formations we’ve played in the past.
Look at Song, Diaby and Fabregas, all three play in midfield, each one more advanced then the other.
Thats mot much different to Gilberto – Vieira and then Bergkamp who used to drop back into the hole where Fabregas likes to play.
Or even when we had Flamini next to or behind Fabregas, Hleb would be the one dropping in the hole or alternating around with him and then it was up to the fullbacks or the midfielders to push forward.
We’ve tried this formation for a year or so, and for any team to be successful no matter what formation they play you need consistency, thats what we’re missing.
Im not sure i would compare Fabregas’ role to the one Bergkamp played. I think VP plays the Bergkamp but rather than when DB had Henry as the striker VP has noone ahead of him and instead is asked to play the wide players in with passes between the fullback and CB.
HAHA! France, whose starting 11 were all involved in the later stages of the CL, lost to China, whose starting 11 all play domestically.
They both worked in similar areas especially as Bergkamp got older he’d drop deeper, obviously he was still a striker, but our movement would’ve been simlar, Pires and Ljungberg more advanced in transition, the same as Arshavin and Walcott this season.
It’s been a year, it’s not just formation, it’s understandings and working out ways to be more efficient.
Players like Fabregas and Van Persie are key to that, Bergkamp just new that if you played Henry in down the inside left he’d finish time and time again with that shot where he could open up his body to the goal.
The same with Van Persie, he knows exactly how to play a pass because he gives the kind of passes he’d want for himself, Walcott might lack footballing intelligence, but if you’ve got players like Fabregas and Van Persie doing the intelligent bit, then all he has to concentrate on is the end product.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1j4sajULtSU&feature=related
John Terry interview hilarious
Also why I don’t think Mourinho’s a tactical genius, forget about how it’s easier to set up a defensive team then it is to break it down, but if you’ve got players like Lucio or Samuel at the heart of your defence, you don’t have to tell them where they’re going wrong or how they need to adjust to their mistakes.
They’ve already built that up through years of experience. They’ve seen patterns of play pan out soo many times that they know almost instinctively how to react and snuff out danger.
Gman – Nothing, apart from the information about Joe Cole….
what info ddm?
Lol, that Terry interview is genius.
also diaby, song are not on the same planet as gilberto vieira
A – Just for you fella.
I was told by PR’s son on Tuesday, that PR and AW had both been ‘summoned’ back from their holidays for a meeting on Friday. The meeting was for Arsene to decide if he actually wanted to sign Joe Cole, as the player wanted to come to Arsenal, and also that the financials were agreed, so it was basically down to Arsene….
ah ok ddm, cheers for that
do we not know if it’s happening now then and won’t until after the world cup, or did wenger say thanks but no thanks?
who’s pr?
d.d.m surely if that was all agreed wenger would want him????/
ah pat rice? i was being dumb
espn reckon us and united are going to miss out on him
why did wenger change that FFS?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSyaVhuIqCU
Gooby since when did he change that?! theo, arshavin, there are counter attacks in that montage from this season!
A – All i know is that the only thing preventing JC joining us is AW.
However, my contact is off on his holidays now, so i won’t get an update until he’s back…..
PR is AW’s assistant manager…..
too many videos, sorry but this is a top one
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPhDNJ59ZBI&feature=related
A
of course A, but are we using it? i don’t think so
BBK (!) – You’d think so wouldn’t you, but maybe the natural course of arranging a player signing is different when the player is a free agent. Maybe AW identified Joe Cole as a possible good signing, so the AFC management team (not including AW) did all the preliminary crap, like the finances. Now leaving the final decision to AW…….i dunno, just my opinion based on the info that they were all getting together to make a decision on the player, after the player agreed he wanted to come to us and the wonga was sorted out….
Ah ok cheers ddm – i heard that cole wanted to wait until after the wc before making anything concrete with anyone?
I’ve got no idea what you’re talking about gooby?
My fear is that is that this time next year we will be talking about trying to keep RVP away from Barca ets
A
all i am saying is that wenger changed his ways a bit, we don’t counter attack as we used too.
maybe it is simply a lack of quality to do so
Big Dave it would be a totally different situation with VP, and that would really surprise me too.
VP has no connection with barca at all
Gooby i’d say we try to – teams just play much more negatively against us, but when the opportunities are there we counter in exactly the same way, even cesc despite being so slow has been doing it!
When all of our players with pace were out injured we didn’t do it, but when we’ve had players fit we’ve countered just the same as always when the opportunity has been there
All the big teams will come calling if he has a good WC and season for us.
we’re a big team big dave, and i’m pretty sure that feyenoord aren’t going to become the best team in europe anytime soon, nor the dutch league particularly competitive, so vp is not someone i’m overly worried about!
http://www.clubcall.com/arsenal/dutch-ace-his-way-1067384.html
seems like robben is out for the WC, injuries really suck. why did they play him knowing he is a crock
Fuck Robben. Shit shit shit
dennisdamenace – the biggest risk is that we don’t have a high quality player lined up if Cesc goes. We badly need a CH also.
I remember where I was when Walcott made that dazzling run in the CL semi final against livershyte.
Cant dislike him after that.
Wenger is surely to blame for his inconsistency.
how is wenger to blame for walcott being clueless on the ball and injury prone?
do you think that bendtner clumsiness and occasional stupidity is down to wenger too?
Even in FIFA ALmunia is shite.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mz8kmXIYMTA
Im saying the inherent super stardom is there…Gooby.
Walcott has massive massive potential with the way he carries himself with the ball.
When he was more selfish he was a far better player…but the predictability with always looking to pass when he should be shooting is something he struggles with and thats down to Wenger.
Bendtner is just horse shite.
i always found that walcott was better when he started for us and is going backward ever since
Jesus Senderos is fucking shit. At fault for the Costa Rica goal and today he was beaten TWICE for the Italy goal.
http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/5885532/
Pat he really didn’t do much wrong in either, what do you have against him?!
If Senderos was at fault for Italy today, then 90% of the goals you’ll see at the world cup you could claim the defender was at fault….
costa rica was a weird one, but far from an obvious mistake
I see City have signed Boateng.
They could be a real threat next season. Especially if they get yaya.
Senderos can maybe be blamed for the second lost header but not the first as Quagliarella ran across the path of the ball before it reached Senderos, knocking into him and knocking him off balance. Still shite defending though but can be blamed on not playing all season.
Anyone know who the stig on top gear really is? I know Schumacher was officially unveiled as the Stig but i dunno, i just dont believe it.
Stu
Its a rally driver, cant remember his name, jason something maybe.
Okey doke…any idea why the claimed it was Schumacher? Publicity stunt or something would be my guess..
hhahahahhaha senderos up to his old tricks again,he really is shit………
There have been various stigs stu
There’s a big lightning storm outside.

ANyone watch the Serbia – Cameroon match? It ended 4-3 so i cant imagine Song did too well.
That looks like awful english…too well? Thats not proper wording, is it?
Song didn’t play
SONGS USELESS ANYHOW .
whilst everybody GIVES A FUCK about an under dog ,
i still say sorry he is NOT GOOD ENOUGH .. he hemorrhages goals on his watch , look at the barca game .. both goals were scored whilst he was TRYING to mark the striker .
and every top level game we played this season he looked short in class. and slow ., he might be up for a bolton game or even a villa game ..
but against the top shelf teams , he’s at sea .. as he lacks experience .
he definitely isn’t NO Gilberto ! or PV04 , hell he isnt even half the player flamini was ..
sorry whilst we persist with fringe squad players we will never get any higher up the table than 3rd .
melo or above is needed ..
also whilst you fans are delusional enough to think he is the immediate answer , nothing will change ..
he could become world class in the future , knowing wenger he will persist until he ends up like eboue ..
sorry had enough of these sorts of players .
i dont know how some fans can accept mediocrity so readily .
I blame Vermaelen for the two goals, same mistake both time, and he then did it again in the second leg which is a little bit worrying. Song didn’t cover Vermy’s mistake as well as he could’ve but wouldn’t point it out as a reason for his not being very good certainly.
Song this season was imo the best DM in the division, although when fit/motivated Essien and Mascherano are better, though he’s still improving and not far behind. In a team that isn’t struggling he’d look truly world class
Melo? No thanks.. He cant play the lone DM role, certainly no better than you think Song is there.
Also – Song as lone DM is far better than Melo….
Oh yeah, forgot Song was at CB when we conceded those 2 against Barca. I dont think he can be blamed. Vermaelen left acres of space and obviously having never played together, Song wouldnt have been able to read Vermaelens stupidity and cover Ibras run.
So its Song in a different position to the one he played all season AND he hadnt played there with Vermaelen before and you have an answer/excuse to why he didnt stop Barcas goals at the Emirates. Pretty simple stuff. It should be noted that before being moved into defence Song was arguably our best outfielder for the first 70 or so minutes at home against Barca.
song is a very decent player, why are you so pessimistic?
melo is shite
hey watch the replay A .. song was ibra’s mark !
if your a DM – as a regular and you can shut it down from the midfield what good are you ????
both his fault at the end of the day although big Al muffed 1 stop i think … which obviously spills on to him ..
so song at fault for the 1st one i thing , but has made maby errors in the MAN U and chev game where their midfield dominated ..
sure it was bad days out for everyone that day !
which only goes to prove how short we are in comparing them to us ..
im not saying sell him ! im saying make him no. 2
and dont flip him back to cd – Dm ..
he will just end up like eboue ..
STU ..
thats my point he should ! at that level …
a C.L semi !
Song wouldnt have been able to read Vermaelens stupidity and cover Ibras run.
so song at fault for the 1st one i think , but has made many …..
dyslexia in the morning
What is your point though Ethan? Song was moved back into defence where he hadnt played all season, not to mention that he hadnt played next to Vermaelen before so would have had no understanding with him as a CB partner.
Surely you cant expect him to just form an immediate perfect understand of Vermaelen and be able to read a pass, a run and his partner being out of position.
Gooby says:

melo is shite
—————-
an OK back up ..
at best .. he folds in tough games ..
not up to speed yet …
sorry ..
IN FACT HE MIGHT NEVER GET UP TO ‘ SPEED ‘
a key factor in scrambling back with our style of play ..
sorry he will NEVER be quick enough ..
in open play like that you don’t have “marks”….
Both goals were near identical, Vermaelen went running out of position to try and win the ball back, which he failed to do, and Ibrahimovic ran into the space that Vermy had left behind him, and scored.
and whilst cesc is set to leave,
im sure putting in someone who is 26-27+ with tonnes of experience in the middle would shore up the LOSS far better than watering it down !!!!!!!…
Song is suprisingly quick imo. Not Usain Bolt quick obviously but certainly not as Slow as he is made out to be. He might not have the best acceleration but he has decent pace in full stride.
A , some one was responsible for tracking back ..
id say its the closest defenders task to neutralize the attack ..
who was trailing BOTH TIMES .. like an injured dog ???
A cannot debate the undeniable ..
he sucks V’s stiff comp !
when we doesnt ill stop whining
Agree about Song. You need someone like Mascherano who can cover ground incredibly quickly to back track if an attack goes tits up, which it invariably does with us.
Song is too slow on the turn and has one gear. This will get shown at the World Cup for those with Arsenal-blinkered glasses on.
song was the closest to ibra .. and obviously failed to read the play , or failed to keep up !
make no mistake song was the last line of defense on both occasions .. and failed on both …

precisely , especially with our sort of attacking play .. we always leave the back exposed ..
having a snail at the back as cover plus the iron gloves of Almunia this season we can tell why it all went tits up
song is shit, with him in our midfield we won’t win fuck all
and the lack of strike options ive been banging on about for 3 seasons now , hopefully chamahk will help that problem ..
mind you thought that when we signed dudu too
what happened there A ? the best striker in the league .. or most clinical wasnt it ?
Good ANB – I don’t want us to win fuck all….
Huh ethan? Who said Eduardo was the best striker in the league? I’ve never heard anyone say that….
He was the most clinical prior to his injury, most clinical in Europe in fact, statistically certainly

Good ANB – I don’t want us to win fuck all
why is that then a???
The Mirror are running a story that Joe Cole is joining.
Theres too much smoke for it not to be true.
It seems you’re the one making the mistake here Ethan. Lets pretend Song was the last line of defence (which he want because that was Almunia), Song certainly isnt the most guilty party here. If Vermaelen has stayed in position then they back line would have been straight (Sagna, Song and CLichy were in line with eachother) and Ibra wouldnt have had acres of space to exploit and Songs ‘reaction time’ wouldnt have mattered.
lol A, im suprised you havent picked up on that before. It happens daily on here…and other places obviously.
I would like to state that I too hope we dont win fuck all.
Because I want us to win things ANB, not win fuck all….
gambon, jcross said it’s a no go and he’s got the links to arsenal,i would listen to him over anyone else from that paper.
i’m glad we’re on the same page stu!
where’s that gambon?
with song that will not happen a
just seen that gambon — bit odd! It’ll be interesting to see what john cross says tomorrow, i’m sure he’ll be asked about it what with it being the same paper!

jcross today ruled it out
yes i said CLINICAL .. thats what you said pre-season HE WAS THE MOST CLINICAL STRIKER IN THE EPL. end quote ..
he certainly wasnt ! like I SAID HE ISNT ..
really anything short of a ‘torres’ or higher is more of a gamble than a filler for me !

Good ANB – I don’t want us to win fuck all….

A if thats the truth your closer to wengers mentality than i thought .
you give way too many average players the benefit of the doubt .. very wenger-esque … yet ignore the potential in the team which is the future of the club .. jack – rambo – vela-theo – even nik ..
all deserve starting spots over the aging and failing marmites . If you dont want to spend money at least utilize the talent within the squad and bring on the cream ..
and against bring on the powdered milk

We do need to start looking at defenders though.
i suppose you think cesc is staying too
gullible .
ethan i’ve never been a massive eduardo fan, but before his injury he was the most clinical striker in any of the top leagues in europe. all the statistics were there to prove that that was the case, so it isn’t really debatable.
You saying you want us to win fuck all ethan?
it makes sense , he’s on a free !
was wenger EVER not in for that sort of deal ?
yeah i do think cesc will stay ethan, unless barca offer silly money, which i’m not sure they’re in a position to do, not this summer anyways.
we’ll have to just wait and see though
no , i didnt say that ! YOU DID …
but whilst we have fans with your give him another go mentality we WILL NOT ADVANCE as a team ..
huh ethan? i think you’ve gotten yourself confused….
I said “I don’t want us to win fuck all”
Do you want us to win fuck all then?
Ethan, why do you want to win fuck all!

john cross has ruled it out tho

Cross is talking toss.
A
it will be a cash plus player deal ..
but it will be MORE cash ..
he will pick up a young one or 2 not a yaya .. .
more like a bojan or some other young punk they were bantering on about last week ..
but im sure wenger will not keep a want away captain .
SHIT for morale ..pure and simple !
and hopefully with the point of no return already past , cesc will go and we can move forward ..
it avails wenger nothing to hold onto him another year .. face the problem next season plus a possible lack – luster performance from the want away ?…
no, sorry wenger sells players who want to move on for a reason ..
only way we will be keeping cesc is if barca is REALLY cash strapped ..
and not wanting to pay over the odds for him… means to me they probably dont really want him .. or NEED him ..
but they do from a Spanish perspective . but not from a fill the gaps perspective . they can do fine without him currently ..
so that tells me CESCS WANTS OUT ! ..
not that barca need him as cover URGENTLY .
wenger is waiting on cesc to shine at the WC , then demand the cash he is seeking . Hill-wood is screaming no sale at any price as a cheap see thru ploy to raise the bid ! he is shameless as ever .
it will be hard to deny arsenal the cash if cesc preforms well , and lets face it .. its odds on he will do well @ the Wc…
he’s just come off his best arsenal season yet .
