I expect nothing other than a win today, why? Well because Sunderland just aren’t that good, in fact the last team they beat was in November and it was us, and we weren’t that good!
Although we lost against Porto, we were far the better team, if you take away the two howlers, and the paranoia of the manager, we were the better team, and the ref, although controversial, really wasn’t born on Mars.
Anyway, if we can’t beat this shower of doo-doo, we really are in trouble, still at least if we do lose, we can be sure that it won’t be our fault.
A quick word on Portsmouth and how they are looking to sell players to keep up or get a loan or have the EPL step in, what are they, a Bank? Why do the sporting world think they above the parapit? Why do they think it would be a disaster, save 25,000 Pompey fans who won’t get to see their team anymore, surely they could go and support Southampton or Brighton or even Plymouth, they are all from the seaside.
I think it’s sad because I do like them, but they were mis-managed by Harry and Storrie and they are now paying the price, why is anyone surprised, Harry went to Spurs and bought most of those players back at half the price, and you only have to listen to either of them being interviewed and you wouldn’t be surprised if you saw them both selling Jellied eels off a barrow in Rathbone street market at the weekend.
I would be more concerned with letting Corus steelworks close down, you have a whole town that relies on that company, a whole industry that has had it’s furnaces on since 1858 and this government allows them to close, without a whimper, however if it’s a Bank or a Premier league team, no expense is spared keeping them afloat and in gravy, how many times have they been reprieved for Christ’s sake?
How can you not know you owe £11mil in taxes? A bit careless that, and why on earth didn’t they sell players in the window, this demand didn’t drop out of the sky!
One day a genius will come along and say, I know why all these clubs are in such financial straights, (there has to be a reason, they haven’t all been managed by Harry and David O’Leary) the reason is, we pay such out of touch salaries to young kids that have done nothing, apart from getting lucky or meeting Arsene Wenger.
For Instance, Theo Walcott at his age earns more than the Prime Minister, the Governor of the Bank of England and The Chairman of Marks & Spencer. How on earth can that be right?
Multiply him by all the players in football and you have the answer, there, now that wasn’t rocket science was it!.
Anyway onto us and today, I expect the following team sheet.
Fabianski
Eboue Campbell Vermaelen Clichy
Song Cesc Diaby
Rosicky Bendtner Arshavin
He won’t drop Fabianski because he refuses to admit he isn’t world class, I think Fabianski is a great keeper, but like Senderos, he has a howler or two in there somewhere.
I would play Eboue at right back because at least he can cross a ball, and I expect to see Arshavin and Song back, I also expect an emphatic win because they aren’t that good and all will be roses in the garden again on Sunday, another papering over the cracks job in our quest for third place, the greatest of all achievements.
I’ll be there and cheering the boys on as usual, it will be cold though, so I may well be wearing my lucky Arsenal gloves, and you all know what happens when I do that!
Have a great game Grovers, we may close the gap today!

ok i must rest now thank you for your support arsenal fans.
SONG WILL be one of the better defencive midfilders when he will learn how to shot from disatnce like essien or flamini
Not really interested in your ‘denials’ Le Inv, but thanks anyway.
Sharkey. Can I write to you through Pedro ?
Yeah please do.
If we both mail him he then swaps the addresses, I think
Yea zeus but Cescs got that serious nature to him so you know he gots his spot kick going on
I would like to see TV take a pen.Be interesting
King Kanu on for Pompey. I love that man….
As long as we concentrate and keep our eyes of the Towel we would be fine.
bsnb
The rest will do our Russian good!
The problem with Arsh is that he either gets a goal or does nothing the whole match. Definitely not the same player that was trying hard to impress on a world stage last season. Thank god he’s an expensive signing imagine if he was playing like that and had come out of the youth system.
MAybe he’ll be better when he returns from injury.
Raddy. Can i respectfully agree re the ‘Somali Pirates’ histrionics. They are not as bad as they were, but they are still pretty bad.
I cringe watching him all arms a’flailing, eyes rolling up into his skull, calling for his mama.
Two minutes later he’s skinning three defenders and slaloming into the box.
In a word – embarrassing
MAybe he’ll be better when he returns from injury.
–
mayank, I wish and hope him well. We need goals against lesser teams. and we have that small matter of Porto
ss
Thats is called grit and strength of character elsewhere.
hat trick and good night all
Georgian – great shout re Songs reluctance to shoot from distance. Its puzzled me for quite a while now
Maynk – lol
David – fingers crossed re Arshy’s rest. We need him back and raring to go unhampered by injury. He’s clearly top top quality, I just want to see more of that quality affecting games/results in our favour.
Why are we forgetting that Arsh has been playing CF for us for the last 3 months?
I think it is unfair criticism of AA, he has never been a clinical finisher, and was played out of position. Those 4 goals at the Dippers are a cherished memory though
Night BNSB
anyone else worried that pompey will cease to operate. thats 6 points and a massive help to chelsea. Anyway to appeal such a decision
Strange how the temperature on LG has reduced. With the departure of one blogger we return to talking Arsenal
How could a Fellaini -less Everton slam MU today, when we looked like babies against them. Lessons to be learned here.
Sabeel,
Ebou is the only real winger in the team bar scoring goals. Actually, he is a very good winger without scoring.
sp
yea its a bit of a worry…gives the chavs an extra 3point advantage
Good point 6 pacc. But surely even those twats at the FA can see that it wouldn’t be fair to annul Pompey’s results.
Hopefully the Customs and Excise swine will find an acceptable solution
would be great to have diaby back for stoke but I am not sure he will be. Stoke will make it a war. song and Bendtner will be important and I would say Sol will be as well. sagna will probably come back in. I doubt theo will play at Stoke after today. can he get any worse?!
still no vela today. what does he have to do to get 5 minutes?
wenger couldn’t help himself – he had to bring denilson on.
I liked Ramsey’s contribution – he is so much more dynamic than Denilson, and actually RUNS!
Respectfully agreed re those four goals Raddy ! Although I think the stats ‘suggest’ he maybe only had eight touches of the ball inc those four strikes !!
Seriously though, I think back to the Euros where he was mazing against abc (Swedes?) then against xyz(?), then disappeared against the Dutch (def?).
David, I’m airing my (unconcluded) thoughts for validation/repudiation, not criticising him.
I feel a bit flat about him, and I;m trying to work out why. Its deffo not just cos he’s in my Dream Team
Watching Pompey at the moment and I can tell you that they are really really crap.
Sharkey
The thing about quality is that its still quality.
At Porto we were always going to struggle if fabregas had a bad game.
It is very rare that both Fab and Arsh both have bad games at the same time…so with Nasri being clever in midfield and not being afraid to shoot like Diaby…our chances are better imo.
I loved todays game because we didnt resort to crossing and heading the ball.
SixPacc – no way can they let it happen. Not for the sake of £10m. £10m really isn’t a lot of money in football.
Raddy, I thin both Chelsea and Man u play differently gainst us, They simply refuse to play an ipe game.
Man u played two up top today, when did they last do that against us…home or away..??
Then of course we play right into their hands by flooding forwards at every opportunity – home and away.
Not to mention our ‘defending’
Thats been a point we’ve been moaning about forever Sharkey.
The fact that we lost the same way Home and Away in the Champions League is the same way we lost to the Mancs again…
At some point Wenger has to decide that sometimes…tactics are important.
If ARsenal and MU stand to lose 3 pints to the Chavs by Pompey’s demise, it might be wise for them to pay Pompey’s tax bill between them. AFter all £5m each isn’t too muc
sounds like they wanna do it
Fair point David.
I guess that we can only play one way. It is taught in the u-11′s right through to the first team.
When do you last see an AFC player hit it into Row Z?
Anyone else watching this Barca game?
David, I’ve no doubts about Arsh’s quality as I said at 18.47
I think Song did that earlier in the season
So….. gotta cook the wife’s dinner.
Yes In kow it’s gay, but if you atasted her food you would know why I chiose to cook
Night All
5m raddy? Certainly theres a better bargain out there
& my typing has gone tpo shit !!
Its his first full season and he’s playing out of Position.
Are there any instances where you feel Arsh let you down on the pitch? Was it the first touch or the poor finishing?
Joke 6 pacc …
What’s that about losing 3 points?
Also interesting point BR made about teams like Everton causing so much trouble to the Chavs and MU when we seem to come unhinged.
I think the problem is because we don’t play well under pressure and the fact that when we goa goal down we seem to go all out and screw up the defence. Everton came back from behind in both instances. We for some reason decide to throw our CB forward. The last time we beat Chelsea was because we kept our heads.
Barca one up after just 6 minutes. We need to get early goals like they do imo.
Night Raddy
maurya..
i think..wenger has decided that eboue plays at home, and sagna when are away..
AA is something of an enigma wrapped in a….no doubting his talent. What I found quite revealing was his commement after the Cesc twenty minute cameo performance. On, two goals, then off again. AA said he wished he could be like that. I am sure that he meant, he would like to pop on for twenty minutes only. I genuinely think he has a problem retaining interest for the full 90. “So, which 20 mins do you fancy today, then Andrey?” ?!?!
Stoke away. I demand that ALL our players request a towel for EVERY throw in. See what the ref thinks of that, then.
True Mayank.
David. Too right anout tactics. The ting is that Arsene clais to never adjust his style to the opposition, but I think in the past the Captain and other senior players made the necesary adjustments themselves.
We lack that sort of leadership now, but I really don’t want to get into all that right now…as I don’t want to miss my sons football match tomorrow morning !!
Micky – which 20mins today – lol.
Anyone else find the Jobsite logo on Pompey’s kit a bit ironic?
Hadn’t til now Mayank…good spot. Lol
Anyways its been mostly fun, amd partly hilariously ridiculous (thanks Le Inv!!), but its good nite all from me.
Nite all
I think thats too simple, all teams will affect others differently and all teams go through peaks and troughs in their performances.
Turn it around and it’s like saying why did United and Chelsea lose when we won 6-1 ?!
Any team at any point can beat another it’s whether things go in your favour that matters and how you diminish those factors that you can’t predict, in the last 3 games we’ve played, Liverpool, Porto and Sunderland we’ve had 3 different centre-back partnerships, that just makes it even more unpredictable as to how we’ll perform against different teams.
If we continue to chop and change our centre-backs, forced or otherwise, the only way they’ll learn to play and be effective against all teams is to play them and work out what strengths they have to play to for each team.
The only way we’ll win titles and produce the sort of performances we know we can against the big teams, is once we get a consistent run together, otherwise we’ll continue with the jekyll and hyde performances and the individual errors that cost us from time to time.
Nite SS.
I’m off as well, Nite all.
Not really Keyser, I think most would agree that the counter attack goals could’ve been stopped with an extra body back. It’s too easy to break us if you get the first goal. We lost our shape. I even came on here before the CL SF match and said that to win this one our first priority should be to go into HT at 0-0. We were caught on the break then as well.
Just back from the game the players tried hard today, good result.Seen some of the comments after the match some real bitches on here.I wonder how many would say these things face to face.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iW3eVomEPJU&feature=related
Fuck off! Even Marquez is scoring free kicks for Barca. Its not fair that they are that good.
So I’m watching the barca game on gol tv and the racing keeper comes out to punch and misses completely.
The yank commentator says ‘its as if the GK thinks he plays for Arsenal.’
What a cunt. For Wenger to make us the but of jokes like these really drives me up the walls.
Anyone else here think Bergkamps goal against Newcastle would be disallowed for a push or an elbow if it was scored now?
Stu
No i dont, but if anyone scored that goal against us you would never hear the end of it.
stu
it would be a crime against football to disalow this goal
No stu because it was a goal of sheer brilliance!!
No Stu
Sky would probably say it reminded them of Rooney
Where’s the extra body come from ? and why did we lose our shape ?!
The thing is losing to Manchester United and Chelsea, especially United last year isn’t a mean feat, they were the second best team in Europe and had the World’s best player, what compounds any theories is how many times you lose to these teams and how.
The idea that we sit back and wait for them to attack is great, but then if we sit back and they score first we’re left with the same problem with even less time to correct it.
We play the style we do, I think it’s far easier to hone this down to a fine art, then to change tactics for specific teams, the thing is you need time to do this, players need to play together and learn from each other in differing situations.
We lose the big games, because the better teams punish the individual errors and are just far better at implementing their gameplan.
You become a great team, by being better at what you do, then the other team is with how they play. We’re not going to get anywhere if we continually change the team around.
The difference between this season and last is that the players have had an extra season to work out how others play, this has helped us against teams like Hull and Stoke, albeit at home, but it’s not enough when we play the big teams, because you simply need your better players playing.
Stu – No, Bergkamp’s already in front of him before he makes contact with him, how many goals would get disallowed if they were the rules ?!
You wouldn’t get that disallowed in most leagues now, let alone the Premiership back then.
What’s with “Walcott stars .. in Arsenal win” headlines on newsnow .. Do they even watch the match or just cheer for the home boy?
No wonder walcott thinks he is very good and get paid 60K ..
Also amazing finishing in the everton game.. Van der saar had no chance on any of the three goals ..
Wish we had one player who could finish like that!
Exactly, imagine how many goals we’d score then.
Even Dogger Colymore said if we had a decent striker we would rump away with the title!!
**romp!
Unfortunately Wenger only teaches passing, dribbling and making runs.
That’s why we need bergkamp to teach finishing and keown to teach defence ..
Theo was better today hope he keeps it up
Bergkamp to teach finishing?! Henry when he retires to teach finishing, Bergy could come in to teach the final ball
Ashley Cole to return and teach the kids how to keep out of controversy.
MOTM = Eboue
When do we play against Stoke guys?
My team for stoke:
Jennings
Eboue Cambpell Vermy Gallas
Nasri Fabregas Song Rosicky
Arshavin
Bendtner
Hey guys, tonight’s thoughts:
- Eboue was today better offensively than I’ve seen Walcott over the past year. Is Eboue a better player than Walcott? I’m starting to think that!
- AW can never choose to play Denilson (mr useless) before Rambo after this match.
- Nasri showed that he can actually contribute to anything on a football field, except to keep the ball. Now he just needs start producing goals.
- Songs tackle against the two Sunderland players … fantastic!
next weekend maciek
Ashley Cole to teach the kids of how to be a 1st class arsehole in ten easy steps!!
Ashley cole to show the kids what not to do with a mobile phone!
Cana was an animal. I thought he was going to get sent off. he reminded me of flamini though and we could probably do with a player like that.
Ramsey was so much better than Denilson.
Gazzup…from what you have seen, would you take cana over song?
agree with you re Ramsey, fucking light years ahead of Denilson
Eboue for Le Champ!
Nexts week game against stoke is massive. It’s gonna be a brawl, make no doubt about that. For the past 2 seasons i have to admit the stoke defense have been superb against us. We have to battle, and i hope cesc, and arshavin are on form in the game. We have to score at least 2 because lets face, they WILL score from a throw in, no point in denying that fact.
I like Cana, good player, good leader & just what we need.
nearly the thrid samey goal in 3 weekends…only jones pants finishing saved us. Silvestre cannot start. end of story.
He’d be ok, didn’t really stand out today, unless you like reckless tackles.
After watching that game today I thought Nasri stepped it up hugely!
We cannot win titles win Bendtner up top, he is not good enough. Terrible finisher…. Hopefully he improves in the future however.
Walcott also improved slightly but still not Arsenal quality, if he had no pace he could not even get into Accrington Stanley’s team.
My team ratings:
Almunia 7
Eboue 9
Silvestre 6
Vermaelen 7
Clichy 6
Song 8
Ramsey 7
Fabregas 7
Nasri 7
Walcott 5
Bendtner 6
ref for le chump
10 Quick thoughts on today
1. Almunia made a clutch save. credit is due
2. Rambo not quite yet ready
3. Theo off form yes, but look at the turnaround from eboue
4. Bendtner WILL NEVER be the answer up front. not for a club like Arsenal
5. Good to see Nasri play like he cares though Rosicky did’nt deserve benching
6. Silvestre should never play first team
7. Our high line is punished against better teams..we got lucky twice
8. Sagna and Eboue should be partnered for next run out
9. Clichy quietly put in a solid shift
10. Song was fantastic. my MOM
Bendys finishing will get better, needs more confidence in those positions, he is a good finisher for Denmark and was when playing for Brum and in the reserves. Don’t know why he can’t finish properly for us, could be the pressure?
Alex
His scoring record has never been impressive at any level.
Hes a good player, but not a good finisher.
Arsenal Reserves Season 05/06
Appearances: 27
Goals: 22
Birmingham at 18 years old but got a injury in the middle which stopped his run
48 apps 13 goals 9 assists
And 1 in 3 record at International level
Pretty good imo
No pressure just not good enough imo!!
Lol you cant use reserve stats.
13 in 48 in the championship isnt good. In that case sign Jermaine Beckford or Michael Chopra.
At 18 though and he was playing as target man and got a pretty serious injury in the middle which stopped his scoring run
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A6K49WRVPE&hl=en_GB&fs=1&]
I know youtube can make anyone look great, but the video shows variety of finishes
Bendy has not the anticipation to be a top a striker. Add that to his lack of pace and he will always come up short at the very top level.
Jermaine Beckford has never scored goals in the Championship!
I agree though – Bendy’s goalscoring record wasn’t very good in the Championship, though he was only 18 then, and 13 in 38 isn’t terrible at all.
It’s only really internationally, which doesn’t mean much imo, and the reserves, which means nothing, that his goalscoring records are impressive. And last season for us to a certain extent.
I’m not sure he’ll EVER be a really prolific goalscorer, but he is a very talented player that offers a great deal more, and a very good asset.
Today was a bit weird, we looked exhausted (understandably) and although we should’ve been out of sight early on, once we’d gotten the first goal we just didn’t push on, and struggled to really get the energy to do that much.
Eboue was fantastic, my mom, though Nasri was close to him, and Song played very well too.
Theo was much better, did a fair few good things, but still alot of bad thing, certainly improving though. Same with Bendy, did some good things, looking sharper with every game, but still far from 100%.
Vermy should get an honourable mention for playing right side and doing pretty well, and Silvestre made a couple of poor decisions that could’ve cost us, but wasn’t AS bad as I thought he might’ve been!
Ramsey started and ended well but didn’t do much from 15-70. Clichy played well too. Cesc again was far from his best, and looked very very tired.
Should be good that he’ll get a weeks rest before Stoke, and another before Burnley after that, refresh him a bit. Almunia didn’t put a foot wrong, couple of good saves, and swept up balls in behind well, good to see him looking more solid, long may it continue!
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nqn7gRdARNk&hl=en_GB&fs=1&]
I know a few people who used to go to Reserve games and they said Bendtner is the best player they’ve ever seen in the reserves.
I also think because of his size he’s put on alot of weight but his style is still to run with the ball which he can’t do now thats why sometimes he looks clumsy.
A – if he is never going be ever be prolifc what would.we need him for?
I just dont think a player with such limited finishing ability will ever be able to cut it at this level.
Alex:: Bendtner reminds me of kevin campbell, when he was playing for the ressies he was banging in plenty of goals mainly because of his size, then when he made the step up to the first team he was like bendtner hardly prolific?
To me Cesc looked like a player with his thoughts some where else!!
i love watching nik play. Hes good but hes way too cocky. Far from the finished article
We’ll see, i still think he has all the potential to become one of the leading strikers in the world in the next few years. And don’t forget strikers don’t peak until 25-27.
He’s a superb team player and will contribute alot Henry Morris. He’s 5 times the player Heskey is, and would ever be, but Heskey still plays for England because of what he offers to the team. He’ll score alot more than Heskey, and offer much more overall too. A striker isn’t ONLY judged on goals….
reggie he didn’t to me at all, Cesc looks like a tired kid with massive responsibility on his shoulders. I’d be shocked if he left this summer, unless things go totally tits up and Wenger goes in the summer, then alot of players could leave, both good and bad players, and the squad could have a massive overhaul.
he does reggie and its a shame. I know people are saying blame the mediocrity around him but he is the captain for fucks sake. hold ur head up and play like a captain
Alex
Striker is a position where players are normally noticed very young.
I would hold my breath expecting him to suddenly improve, thats something you normally see in a CB or DM.
A says he’ll be shocked if Cesc left this summer. Somehow that doesnt inspire confidence. I seem to remember him saying all throughout january, even on deadline day that he would be shocked if Arsene didnt buy a striker
*wouldnt hold my breath
Honestly When you watch Bendtner play…What is there to get excited about? Im lost.
He was found drifting wide left…(like Ade)…for must parts of the game…still he did well to get in position for the goal.
Not what Arsenal nees. And surely the fact that Arsene didnt strengthen because he was relying on Bendtner is a fucking disgrace.
Also Campbell was just a goalscorer, Nicklas alot more to offer, link up play, vision etc.
And remember how shit Ade was when he first came? he was never prolific but then in the 07/08 season he suddenly started banging in the goals
What we need is for Liverpool to be on some top form and take some points off of Utd and Chelsea.
we need a out and out goal getter some one who give blood for the cause imagine Ian Wright as our centre forward the juices are flowing!!
Especially like their chances now that Torres is fit.
Watching highlights, why did no-one go to celebrate with Cesc??
cause cesc is dissing them
I thought that as well sixx pac!!he was calling them cabriones

SPOT ON. I don’t agree with your OTT criticism of him sometimes, but your right. Quite how he has ambitions of being one of the top 5 strikers at any point in his career is laughable.
If he was Balotelli then fine, but his talent isn’t exemplary at all.
He is ALMOST to football like sarah palin is to politics.
talk about OTT zeus. Almost to football what sarah palin is to politics? Palin is a laughing stock in politics. A lot o players wish they had nik’s skill and presence.
eboue reminds me of forest gump!
the spanish waiter releases the ball to him and
“run forest ruunnn”
Thought Clichy did okay today. Cant remember him making a mistake. Ramsey looked sharp first half and then went anonomyous. Cesc looked pretty poor today, lots of misplaced passes, but good PK. Thought Nasri had a good game today too…he looked more like he did last year. Eboue was fantastic. Walcott was disgraceful. And I cant believe Im saying this but that goodness Almunia was in goal.
Bendtner has just looked so fecking average.
silvestre looks good going forward
At sixx pac
I said ALMOST.
Luke
I thought Cesc was poor as well. Shocked that Setanta awarded him MOTM. Good pk, but he misplaced somany chances and was brushed aside so easily ala Denilson.
Maybe he was tired, either way we have a week off b4 Stoke which will be massive so they should rest up.
ESPN Soccernet:-
“Theo Walcott may not yet have secured his seat on England’s World Cup plane to South Africa, but he could hardly have turned in a better audition than the performance he produced in front of England manager Fabio Capello at Emirates Stadium”.
That bloke is easily pleased
when writing that. Theo has no touch, but, if he can get it back, he could be Thierry Henry Mark II.
hahaha setanta gave him MOTM. What a joke. If that was denilson out there this place would be tearing him apart. For me I thought Eboue was MOTM, he didnt contribute to a goal I dont think, but he was most consistent and always looked dangerous. ESPN are fecking wangers. Walcott was horrible. That being said, I agree GG9, if he develops a touch and some footwork, with his pace, he will be a nightmare for defenders.
This Title race could be decided by goal difference, when you think that manure & the chavs still have to play each other & The Poo, etc. I’m up & down like a yo yo, one week I feel like shit, next, I’m feeling great. It can’t be good for the metabolism
Luke
I’m with you on The Pass Master, he is a natural @ RB. He has the ability to draw 2 defenders when he stalks them. Go Ebay Go
EBOOOOOOWAAAAYYY!!
Yeah, Pat Dolan and Lou whoever (A man utd loving scot) gave him MOTM.
Lou said Walcott was woeful though. Pat Dolan said at least Walcott doesn’t hide when things are not going his way. A point there it must be said.
But when the right back is doing better as a winger than a natural winger, when he is leaving defences for dead on more than 1 occasion, when he gets in a decent cross, something must be said for that.
you’ve only come to see Eboue!!!
my MOTM by a country mile…
When we win the title this season, it will be funny discussinjg the whys and wherefores of this season and our shite squad and cunt of a manager….
am i blind. Im reading everywhere that walcott had a good game
Excuse my bravado, I got my dance card filled by a right fox tonight….
Gnarley;
Me too bruv…. We have been uop and down all season man…. One week is its the pits, the next week everything is rosey again!
Bi-polar most definitely….
loving the confidence ManGoonian
sixx pac;
You aint blind, just stoopid!!! Hahaha! Only joking mate…. I think Theo playing better than he has done for a while is enough for the hacks to go OTT in their praise of him… It is still a good sign though…. Hopefully he can kick on and scare the fuck out of Stoke next week…
‘Supporting Arsenal may induce symptoms similar to bipolar disorder’
sixx pac;
The confidence, mis placed or otherwise, has been there since August mate…. I just think we can do it, against all the odds and refereeing decisions too….!!!
@ sixx pac
3/4 of the ppl that write reports don’t watch games. Bar a few runs at the left back, walcott was……..walcott.
I know for a fact that foxsoccer waits on espn soccernet to write an article before they post an almost identical article of ‘their’ own.
eboue the pass master ..
you have to love the guy .. sell sagna to Madrid or who ever wanted him for a trillion dollars ..
hes cac’ed and him not crossing last game ,gave us far more attempts on goal ..
but we are still not clinical enough ..
we didn’t beat them by scoring 7 on them like the Chev’s did ..
i think the game was on par with were we are at skill and injury wise , BUT.. NO END PRODUCT really was the theme of the game for me …
dont start blowing your bolts ,AKB’s
it was only Sunderland ! KEEP YOUR FUCKING REALITY CHECK HATS ON PLEASE ,
MG
its kind of a prerequisite for supporting arsenal these days that u are healthy and not have a history of stroke or heart attack
well ethan the chavs didnt put 4 on wolves like we did.
yes because wolves are facing relegation ..
teams get tougher this time of the season …
when there’s something to play for ( USUALLY !)
but Sunderland looked at sea ..
we should of got more , if you dont think so .. hmmm
We should have been up by 2-4 in the 1st half alone…we were not clinical at all. I agree Ethan. Very shakey until PK
and sunderland arent under pressure? They havent won in 14 games and arent too far up from relegation
