Another season goes by, when will we learn? My guess? We won’t.

by & filed under Uncategorized.

So now that the dust has settled on our hammering to the Mancs, where do we go from here? Another season in tatters, save for any of you out there that continue to believe in the rhetoric of ‘this team has great mental strength’ and maybe we can win the Champions league.

Well when we got beaten by the Mancs it brought back the memories of when we had got beaten by them the season before, what was different to the previous season? We bought Vermaelen in and we sold Kolo and Ade, then we played all the chasing pack and did well, Liverpool aside (and they are hopeless this season) we played no one that is capable of finishing in the top 4, aside from Villa and we got lucky with a point.

Next up we played the Mancs, and our manager said we weren’t the same team that lost to them the last time we played them at the Grove, he was right, we were worse, they had no Ronaldo and no Tevez, they had no Ferdinand or Vidic, and we still lost by the same score, this team has great mental strength…? Half this team are babies and don’t fight.

So after that debacle the manager went out and bought in some much needed talent? Oops, no, he didn’t, so what have we learned? Nothing, that’s what. What we did do was remove Phil off the wage bill so that will further enhance the management bonus. Great, at least someone at Arsenal benefits.

How disappointing for us fans, how many games did we have to suffer a second rate centre back in Senderos, I like Phil, but he was never going to be a Tony Adams, a Steve Bould or a Martin Keown, but after watching him for 4 or more years, he was packed off without a word, did Wenger say, I got that wrong, sorry for putting you all through it? No he did not. He only say things like that if they come good.

Now we have to watch a rubbish keeper and a woeful defensive midfielder, yes I will admit Song has finally come good but Denilson? He cost us yet again and the only one who can’t see it is the guy we happily pay £6million a year not to buy decent players.

It’s not like all these kids come cheap, Theo was £8mil, Denilson was £3.8mil Ramsey was £5mil, I dread to think what the true cost is if you add up their salaries. If he wants to persevere with a young player, throw Ramsey in, at least you can see he has talent.

We just beat the Mancs to another 16 year old, great, how old will you be when he gets good? If indeed he does. Another 8 year wait, hmmm, there’s something to look forward to in your old age.

I believe that we play too many, too young, their bodies haven’t developed and that’s why they pick up the injuries they do, look at Michael Owen!

Yes there are exceptions, Rooney, Fabregas and Messi, but if you want to know why our kids get injured, it’s youth, they are too young.

At best now, even if we win the league next year that will make it 7 barren years, that is just not acceptable, what other world class team puts up with that? If that’s the deal, drop the prices to reflect the fact you don’t want to win two of the trophies on offer and you don’t intend to invest in talent. We don’t have to go bust, just spend what’s available, if he thinks he can’t buy better than Denilson or Almunia, then there is something wrong with him.

Wenger has done more for us etc, etc. We won the double in 98 and 02, we won the league in 2004 and the last trophy in 2005, what was the common denominator? We spent money, and the double seasons he inherited half his team from the previous managers.

We had a great chance this year, we had £40 million to spend just from 2 players we sold, never mind the prize money and all the other bits, he refused to bring in players, all the pundits, journo’s, ex players and existing players were saying it, he doesn’t and we win nothing, so who’s right?

I don’t expect us to win on Sunday, I have turned down a seat in the Chelsea directors box because I refuse to watch the hapless two embarrass us again, I am fed up with this stupid policy and don’t understand why we bought in a huge management team with Ivan, what’s changed, Arsene still rules supreme, no one challenges him and this will go on until he decides to retire.

We have been a lone voice for 2 years now and finally the other blogs are feeling the same, at last, maybe now the board will begin to realise the gravy train is about to end.

Gazidas met with someone from Milan to discuss the sad state of the game, he should meet with his own manager and ask that question, the game is being ruined by crazy wages, and we are top of the league for those. Arsenal, get your own house in order before you criticise others.

I’m sorry to sound so negative but the manager and his policy are doing that, not me.

We didn’t lose to the Mancs for any other reason than a crazy team selection with so many poor players who don’t seem to care.

Time for a clear out and frankly I don’t care who.

Arsene, if you don’t watch it, Cesc will be chosing a house in Catalunia, because he’ll win nothing here.

Have a nice day Grovers, my season has once again been well and truly ruined, and please don’t mention the Champions league, the way we’re going we won’t even qualify for that next term.

We will still lose on Sunday. We are crap. Face it.
It’s funny how everyone say if we are 6 points behind chelski, after the Pool game, we have a chance.

No we do not have any. We play Totts away, City at home, Sunderland at home, Blackurn away, Stoke away, Hull away,Birningham away.

No WAY WE WILL WIN IT. THANKS UNCLE ARSENE.

  2. A

haha that’s a phrase i use often aa23, nowt wrong with it!

Gooby I’d agree this season, though it wasn’t last season

  3. gambon

Sony had better be paying us a shed load of wonga for this new streaming idea being launched this week.

Its gonna sell shed loads of PSPs and guarantee other clubs buying into this.

That might give us some extra dosh for transfers!

(what am i talking about, i mean dosh for Wengers bonus)

They say in ancient China that you paid your physician while you were healthy and you stopped when you got sick — because it was his job to keep you healthy.

I like that, there is a very clear incentive for a person to do their job effectively.

WTF has that got to do with this blog?

Well our players, Bless ‘em, seem pretty complacent and I’d like to see them suffer more than just a wee tinge of regret everytime the team crumbles.

Maybe take their toys and in Walcott’s case his girlfriend’s toys away until they shape-up!

    What was it Suga3 — 4, 5, 7, 10, 17, 23 — were honestly trying? I agree. The rest?

If we could impart Sabeel’s persistence into the rest of the team, maybe we’d be in with a chance.

  5. Keyser

Also ‘wonga’ reminds me of some proper dodgy advert that always comes on Paramount, right few weirdo’s on that.

  6. Pedro

Oh, for anyone who watches shit on BBC iplayer, I reccomend Professor Al-Khalili doco’s on chemistry.

    He is one cool scientist…

    “Maciek Says:
No we do not have any. We play Totts away, City at home, Sunderland at home, Blackurn away, Stoke away, Hull away,Birningham away. ”

If we are going to have that many problems on the run in, it wouldn’t have mattered if we beat United and Chelsea 4-0 and had a 6 point lead after this 2 week period.
We might as well not look forward to CL next season, either, since we are going to lose or draw all those.

  8. AA23

    Keyser
    people say “uncle Wenger”
    thats proper creepy.
I’ll tell you what though, Chelsea didnt look unbeatable tonight and is it possible that we could plauy as badly as last time?
I reckon we will be way more up for it now the pressure is off us a bit. No one expects us to win or even draw and if the players have any pride left they will be embarrased about sunday.
    Are we due a performance?
    You never know…

  9. Keyser

A – Ah the crap people watch at Uni, I remember walking through our SU once, first couple of weeks, not knowing it was grunge night, proper freaked me out.

  10. Keyser

AA23 – It’s away, I have no idea what team will turn up, last year we played pretty well, but I doubt anyone expected that.

Hope Diaby’s fit and Bendtner starts, they had trouble dealing with the aerial threat today.

  11. choy

The league has always been there for the taking this season, but we’ve failed to capitalise.

Lets see what happens on sunday though, am not very confident.

  12. jlp

    Haunting advert that Wonga,just terrible.
I really hope that guy doesn’t penetrate my dream sequence.
Any ideas on how to breach this BBC iplayer from abroad without fucking with proxies or VNCs?

  13. Stu

Holy balls! Porto are beating Sporting Lisbon 5-1. The CL tie isnt looking so easy now. Apparently they tore someone else apart at the weekend too.

he wouldnt let it lie *said in bob mortimer accent*

  15. goonerkat

glad that chavski drew… at least this gives us hope that we can still compete for the title if we beat them on sunday…

well no new players… let’s just hope everyone’s fit and denilson and almunia dont start, but i doubt it.
i think VT should be DM and Sol with Gallas at the back.

    sleep now…good nite! :>

Marketingmagazine.com reports this morning that Arsenal are on the lookout for a new lucrative sponsor to match the £100 million windfall which the north London club received when they signed a 15 year partnership with Emirates airline in 2004.

Angus Kinnear, who was recently promoted to the position of marketing director at Arsenal, confirmed that the north London club are on the lookout for further investment as the Gunners look to consolidate their current firm financial footing.

    —————————————–
didnt the fat russian offer up some money pre season ? but they said no ? were fine !

what the fuck is going on with the money situation at the club ? why raise 100 mil ?
if we are already loaded up …

something fishy is going on in that fucking board room !

it would be nice for them dirty fuckers to finally come clean about the direction of the club ..

  18. A

How on earth do you work out something fishy is going on?!

Just because we’re making a profit doesn’t mean that we wouldn’t be interested in further sponsorship opportunities. That’s like saying “why charge for people to come to the Emirates if we’re loaded, why not let everyone in for free”.

Sponsorship deals are a totally different kettle of fish to accepting money from a corrupt mobster that noone who knows anything about him would want ANYWHERE near the club

  19. ethangunner

watt’s going to south end on loan ..

    also this …

Montenegrin defender Stefan Savic claims he has agreed a deal to join Arsenal in the summer after snubbing interest from other Premier League clubs.

Savic has recently been linked with a move to Emirates Stadium and says he will sign a pre-contract with Arsene Wenger’s side later this week to join from BSK Borca.

The 19-year-old also claims Birmingham City and Tottenham Hotspur were keen on a deal, but he is looking forward to the opportunity to play for Wenger.

He told Serbian newspaper Blic: “There were offers from Tottenham and Birmingham, but once a call came from Arsenal, I had no more doubts.

“Wenger made sure my papers were arranged for me and my work permit extended so I can be at more training sessions.

  20. ManGoonian

BP and those other effin huge conglomerates rack up billions in profits and I dont see anyoine suggesting they quit their plundering of the earth’s resources or give out free crude to the suckers coughin up to run their gas guzzlers!!!

You and your conspiracy theories ethan!!!

    Now I am off…. :D

  21. ethangunner

    A

    your perverted as usual !

oh yes nothings going on with the board is there ?

stans on 29.999% ownership and WAITING FOR SOMETHING !!! FFS !
weve sacked as many board members in as many years , we are tighter than a nuns ring when it comes to getting in experience and OBVIOUS new players ..

yes A nothing is going on ! im sorry to comment !

please forgive me ! oh mighty one !

  22. A

lol Mang, it is funnt though!

Hasn’t there been the amnesty incesc?? Would be amazing otherwise. Apparently it was for lashing out off the ball, I don’t understand how it was only a booking if true.

  23. incesc

    an amnesty??

    whats that about then?

song was suspended earlier in the season…

would be weird if we beat chelsea, the low then the high…

  24. A

lol ethan, well claiming that our getting a new sponsorship deal is fishy, is like buying a ticket to the emirates, and claiming it was fishy that they charged you.

  25. A

There’s an amnesty part way through the season incesc, where all cards that have come before are wiped, so they start again. Pretty sure there was something not too long ago about it being brought forward

  26. gambon

    A

But you could ask the question why make shed loads of money if theres nothing to spend it on.

Its good to see the club trying to match UTD, Chelsea & even Real commercially, but the difference is them teams spend the money they generate.

  27. A

That’s what companies do gambon – every business in the capitalist world makes as much money as they can! It does get spent too, alot of it does, and the more money we make, the quicker we can pay off the stadium debt etc

  28. Stu

Bad news for us is that Song is on 8yellows. 10 means a 2 match ban..should be careful about when he serves that 2 match suspension.

  29. A

“Previously, players collecting five yellow cards prior to the final day in February were subject to a one-match suspension. This will now only apply if a player reaches five yellow cards before 31 December. Sanctions for players accumulating 10 and 15 cautions remain in place as do their respective amnesty periods.”

I guess not. So Song can’t get two yellows between now and the end of feb

  30. Stu

    What?

As far as im aware 5yellows (up to 31 dec) is a 1 match suspension. And 10 yellows (up to a certain date) is a 2 match ban.

I dont think it goes back to 1 after serving a suspension.

  31. gambon

    A

Yeah, i think i know about capitalism!

It would be very tricky to pay the debt off early. We have been accumulating cash for 5 years, so i dont see why we need more unless the policy changes.

Obviously its a good thing if we make more.

  32. Stu

I assume Savic is a CB. Does him signing mean he will be in the first team straight away as one of the 4 CBs or be in the reserves as a back up to the 4?

  33. A

Yeah I know gambon, but as long as the cash is there it’s something we don’t have to worry about, even if it isn’t paid off immediately, that money is there to pay it off when the time comes

Yeah Stu he’s a centre back, would make sense if he was the smalling equivalent I guess.

  34. gambon

Well we certainly have a group of young CBs in Bartley, Nordveit & Savic, theyre not midgets either like weve had in recent years.

We just need a vermaelen age CB for backup now.

  35. A

Yep agree there gambon, unless Nordveit is going to come into the first team squad next year, though playing at DM in Germany isn’t going to prepare him to play centre back in the prem!

  36. Lou

I think Myles Palmer would make the perfect new manager for Arsenal. I have never read a man with his finger more firmly on the pulse of the club. After today’s revelations that Wenger doesn’t love poor Arshavin and the startling news that Dzeko was in the stands prior to signing for us a week or so ago which followed on from the fact that we signed Patrick Vieira in the summer but never got the cheque in the post in time I for one am convinced at his credentials. When I think back to the time when he told us that Thierry Henry was a lightweight winger who would never make it as a central striker I think that, should Arsene leave, the board need look no further. He is waiting in the wings and the pearls of wisdom droppeth from his mouth like shite from swine.

  37. gambon

A, I think its hard to play a 19 yo is such an important position as CB when youre fighting relegation. But apparantly Nordveit was great at Lillestrom where he alternated CB & RB.

He’ll be back next year and he’ll just have to take his chance when he gets it. I certainly think he’ll be a better player than Djourou, but im not sure about his pace.

  38. A

I’d say only Nordveit is anywhere near ready for the first team Stu. Bartley is a fair way away, could do with time on loan, Ayling a year behind him, and Miquel a year behind him, he’s still in the U18s, Luke Freeman sort of stage in his development I reckon.

  39. gnarleygeorge9

This business with Terry & the other player’s missus. Is that back stabbing shiela being implicated as well, or did Terry rape her.

  40. A

Yeah same gambon, though he looked quicker after he came back from his first loan, when he first arrived he read the game well but was one of the slowest players I’ve ever seen! Hopefully as he’s getting older he’ll develop physically too. Liked what I saw in the reserves.

  41. gambon

Stu, i dont think ayling has much future, he is well down the young CB pecking order i think.

Miguel is a bit younger so we’ll see with him in the next few years.

  42. gnarleygeorge9

    A

That slut could have potentially unstabilised the chavs Title hopes, so I would say it is relevant.

If the chavs grasp losing the Title from the jaws of victory you know the fact that Bridge’s missus couldn’t say no won’t go down well with the chav fans.

  43. gnarleygeorge9

If The Arsenal beat chelski this weekend, we will be helping to hand SAF yet another trophy, when by rights, he & his “below par” squad should have been done & dusted weeks ago.

  44. A

Yeah gnarley, I meant whether she was getting blamed at all! Terry is a cunt, and should have the england captaincy taken away, would be funny if he was dropped altogether because the whole squad sided with bridge and didn’t want him around!

terry was already at hull when the team bus arrived today, I’m going to start the speculation that it’s because Chelsea’s players have sided with their ex-teammate Bridge, and told Terry he could make his own way to the game!

I wouldn’t say they’re champions-elect as such though, a team who’s only won one away since November isn’t exactly flying! Not that I hold out much hope for Sunday

the problems with MONEY and the squad ..

    no A …

  46. gnarleygeorge9

What about The Arsenal? I see you write? Yep it could happen, but with the way Le Gaffer won’t drop Denilson or sign quality in January, it won’t happen this year.

I can’t believe I’m writing this, I’m normally a glass half full type, but the Denilson factor, coupled with the way the “next generation” of Arsenal players drop like flies with injury, my belief has been rocked.

gnarley if we beat Chelsea at the weekend the title is ours to lose imo!
    ———————–
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  48. Stu

Terry being given the england armbadn in the first place was a disgrace imo. It should have been given to Gerrard.

Although Gerrard is no angel himself Terry wins by a country mile for being a fuckhead. Both parents are dirty chavs too and his history isnt anything to be proud of either. A captain should be respected on and off the pitch.

  49. gnarleygeorge9

    A

Now I am @ a place known as Accepted our Fate. It hurt getting there, but I am there, & I am now @ peace. Don’t go giving me hope again :P

  50. Stu

Whats so delusional about that Ethan. If we beat the chavs (however unlikely) we would be 3 points behind with a much easier run in.

  51. A

gnarley just look at it objectively! Look at the results of us and other teams up to this point, and IF we beat Chelsea we’ve got to be the favourites on paper with the remaining fixtures. That would be 3 points behind Chelsea, 4 behind Utd – our form would have to get a fair bit worse and theirs a fair bit better for us to not win the title.

Though obviously that’s a HUGE if, and I really don’t expect it to happen!

  52. gnarleygeorge9

ethan hows it going mate, & you 2 Stu. Anyway, off out again to graft out some coin. See you all @ the post.

  53. Damien

So Arsenal are 6 points behind Chelsea.

Dont know if you guys watched the match but Chelsea are feeling the pressure too. Arsenal are not out of this title race. And whilst they’d be thinking Arsenal are there for the taking, they are under more pressure to perform. Not by their fans of course. Only Arsenal fans heap unnecessary pressure on their team. For Chelsea won the exact same amount of silverware last season to Arsenal. It was, though disappointing, acceptable to their fans. Not to Arsenal fans though, no we expect to win the title.

In fact, if you really want to get technical, Chelsea and Liverpool havent won anything in 3 years also, baring a Fairy Cup. Which, I admit, is romantic, but hardly solid meat. Mere carrots in a 3 course meal. Would you guys really feel job well done, fantastic performance if Arsenal were to win a Fairy Cup once every few years? The fact that Arsenal rest their players for the FA Cup shows ambition. It shows that Arsenal are gunning for the Premier League and Champions League. Anything else is menial tasks that get in the way of a higher standard competition.

    The point is this:

Chelsea are an aging team, potentially under a transfer embargo which will force them to hurry their younger players into their first team. They have won nothing in 3 years, as Arsenal. Lets calm down, take a step back and get some perspective.

  54. A

I accepted it after we lost at the weekend gnarley, but IF we beat Chelsea we’re right back up there, which seems ridiculous when you think about how low all gooners are feeling about things at the moment, myself included!

If we beat Chelsea we’re 4 behind Utd, 3 behind Chelsea. They have to play each other, so we’re guaranteed to make up ground there.

Then you look at the fact that Chelsea, having won once away since they beat us in November, have to go to Everton, Blackburn, Utd, Spuds and Liverpool. Wolves and Pompey too though they’re easier.

Utd’s form has been dodgy all season, and they have to go to Villa, Everton, City, Sunderland, Bolton, Blackburn, and play Chelsea and Liverpool at home.

IF we beat Chelsea we’re in a very nice position, though I really don’t think we do, so all this analysis should be put on ice until then!

  55. David

hahahaha Ethan youre a clown :D

I think we should fight for a draw…

Vermy is going to be up for the battle against Doggbreath you never know.

  56. AA23

Chelsea couldnt even beat Hull tonight. They only drew because they took the free kick before the whistle.
They aint all that, and we cannot play as badly as we did on sunday, its fucking impossible.
Presssure is off because everyone is expecting us to get spanked.
    we have a punchers chance.
    I’m telling you.

  57. A

I don’t want Dzeko at all luke, totally untested etc, could flop in the big leagues a la Huntelaar, and his style of play wouldn’t suit us imo.

Obviously I’d take any forward if we could’ve got them in January, but there are many that I’d prefer ahead of dzeko

  58. AA23

    Luke
I wouldnt trade Arshavin for Dzeko but I’d definitely have taken Dzeko as well.
Arshavin needs to play off of a forward so he can create.
I think him and Bendtner actualy play very well together.
People getting the hump with Arshavin lately need to remember that he’s about 2 foot 3 and not a striker.
Play him in his actual position with a half decent CF and he’s a nightmare to deal with.

  59. LAzer

Totally spot on about Arshavin, AA23. He is an absolute gem of a player as a second striker sort, not necessarily leading the line. I think for some of the big teams we should revert to a 4-4-2 style, we have the players back now.

Cesc and Song in the middle, Nasri, Rosicky on the sides and Bendtner with Arshavin up top.

  60. luke

Good point AA23. A frontline of Arsh, RVP, and Nikki B, really does cause havoc. Height, hold up play, skill, good finishing. Very multi-dimensional. too bad rvp is gone forever and nikki b has missed so many games…

  61. AA23

Nic is back now and he’s cocky enough to relish being needed.
This is his chance to back his words up and I’ve always thought he had it in him to do that. I really rate him.

  62. ethangunner

    NIK B – dreaming ..

he will need another few seasons yet to see fruit , well enough fruit to get him a start over RVP and AA !

even vela and his small frame will sneak in before nik B .. dudu even ..

    sorry nik B is PLAN B ! on at 70 + mins ..

wenger might start him now more because he has too !

and watch what it will do to any chance of scraping back some points .

maybe V’s the lesser teams nik b will shine more ,but the next 2 or 3 games .. well if he’s included in them , title hopes over ..

  63. AA23

Much more pressure on Chelsea for sunday. Those cunts are starting to bottle it as much as we do.
And everyone knows we could ever get a result against them at the bridge.
    Not a chance….

  64. AA23

    Ethan
you are right he didnt start for good reason, because of fitness. He’ll start on sunday.
Who do we have better thats fit?

  65. ethangunner

    AA23

    they wont bottle it ..
V’s the top four there is NO UPSETS ..

preparation is the key and experience gets you the results.both teams cant underestimate each other ,they are more than aware of what 3 points means on the day !!

you would do well to write another one of your
‘ we wont win shit spiels’

  66. iceman

We’re def in the mix of things if we keep our heads up and perform like we know we can.

    But..and this is a huge one…

WE WILL ONLY WIN THE LEAGUE IF THE CHAVS AND MANURE SCREW UP MORE THAN WE DO AGAINST THE REST!!

    That’s the only way imo.

Would that be a good thing?

Wouldn’t that fuel the crazy profs mind into thinking yes I did it doing it my way…and another 7 years of the same sh*t?

  67. ethangunner

well it should be dudu ! and AA ..

it should be ! – by wengers assessment this season ..

and yes you’ll see him in the line up at the 70 minute mark .

and he does well coming in at that point of the game ,

‘he can enforce his LARGE FRAME on the game’ .
and having fresh legs helps ..

i think currently that is a great role for him in the team ..

currently we dont have a plan B that was obvious V’s the mancs ..

and he was cleared fit Vs manc’s.. but didnt start . .

  68. AA23

    Ethan
They are shitting it as much as we are.
They were fucking awful tonight. And they have Man u right up their arses and they still have to play them.
The pressure is on them not us.
    we’ve already lost right?
So we may as well go and play them and see what happens.
If we play like we did on sunday then we’ll get fucked. But the chances of us playing that badly again are almost zero.
I am looking forward to sunday now.

  69. ethangunner

Bendtner is a much better prospect up front than Eduardo.
Arshavin and Eduardo are way better playing off of him. And they both play very well with Bendnter as do Vela and Walcott.
Nic will start on sunday and we will be much, much better because of it.

you know the stats dont you its like 1 in 14 wins V’s them !

they have an on fire anelka who ALWAYS saves something in the tank for wenger , and drogba who really needs no intro on what he’s done to us over the years …

ok might give you props if it was at the grove . but at stamford bridge its going to be a world of hurt ..

wenger does have a get out of jail free card , you are correct he will try and pump the lads up …

you will see more fight than V’s the manc’s but it still wont be close enough ..

had said, come wednesday, we would be 8 points down from Chlesea. We are only six. And no more games in hand.

Keyser and his massive amount of luck and all :)

IMHO only way we beat Chelsea is to outscore them. We must make sure it is a high scoring game. Away game. Goal sheet 3-4 anyone?

    Ethan..

All we need to do is try get somthing from the chavs this weekend and hope they and manure keep slipping up…but we have to be consistent and ready to pounce when they do…

If only Arsh’s chances had gone in first 20 mins on Sunday…we’d be laughing right now…

But it’s all good…I think the fat lady hasn’t got on stage yet…

Guys, Just recently we have bigged up the Oppo’s players.

Anelka Dogshit and Co were not so good v Hull now were they and although I don’t watch them the Burnley game was close too.

Lets get it on with them and see, lets not forget we won there last year so maybe things will get better.

We need to bring back Eboue to double up with Sagna, especially if Malouda plays as IMO he is the danger man.

Fuck knows how we keep the left side quiet as it is ptss poor at present with the hapless Clichy there on his own.

We MUST drop that prick Coco no matter how important the game is. Now is the time to give experience to another Keeper. we need to take the risk and besides its not as if we keep clean sheets is it.

Unfortunately I do know the stats. But all good things must end.
we owe them a beating and they will get it. It might even come this sunday. Might not.
Like I say the pressure is on them and not us.
I dont care that its at their shithole , in fact after sundays result i’d rather it was, even less pressure.
Trust me their arses are going.
Wank united looking strong and right up your arse, you just had a lucky draw at Hull, your players looking old and tired, your glorious leader being shown up as a scumcunt whos about to be stripped of the England captaincy…
    Would you fancy playing Arsenal?

    ——————————
i wouldnt get ahead of myself than that , he will be a good tall man striker .. and ticks far more boxes than ade ever did , but he still needs a season i think .. im not righting him off , but both have been at the club some while now and haven’t really shined !

you think they would have with the pressure wenger is piling on them currently ..
because id say from the fans currently wenger is under the MOST pressure he has ever been under .

this team is still not clinical enough in front of goal to make up for the gaping hole we leave at the back whilst we TRY TO ATTACK !

thats the problem in a nut shell , start scoring and we start winning .. to start scoring we need differing personnel , because if you havent been looking since RVP has been out we have had no direction at all in the forward area ..

dudu hasnt been to great and the only other choice left is nik , so by process of elimination your correct …

but wenger did say dudu has been linking up well and its only a matter of time before he gets a bucket full .

will dudu get a bucket full ? no ?
will wenger persist with dudu . probably .

This is the wackiest idea I have ever had but it could work.

Use Billy as Centre forward and play Sol if fit alongside TV.

Billy causes danger hwnever he goes forward IMO and he could drop back in free kick situations.

Fucking stupid idea or genius. they won’t have a clue its happening before the kick off.

    My plan as follows.

Fab 2 in goal but used as a sweeper too.

    Sagna, Sol, TV, Clichy.

    Eboue, Fab 1, Song.

    Billy, Diaby, Arshavin.

Subs: Theo, Nikki B, Eduardo, Ramsey, The love child (15) Mancsummer. Mannone.

Since Wenger signed the Mancscummer we have been totally creamed by them every time we have played them.

Sacrilege to let any of them cunts have insider information.

Silly bollocks Beckham and now Fish head. A Fergie master stroke that gives them carte blanche information on Wengers plans.

OOps Wenger doesn’t have any plans.
