Add Higuain and Lacina to the list + major disappointment last night, poor show Arsenal

by & filed under Uncategorized.

First of all I have to say that to cancel the game last night, so late on was a disgrace, I live and work in the area and there were no problems with the trains, the problems we had with a bit of snow were there in the morning, Arsenal should have cancelled then, not left it until 4pm, I really felt for the poor Bolton supporters who would have either already been in London, or well on their way. Yes I really mean that, another great example of disrespecting the poor football fan that pays his way.

Not to mention all of us that had arranged to meet up for a pre-match bevvie, bad form Arsenal, you could have cancelled much earlier or not at all.

Moving on to the rumour mill, it seems that Bendtner may not be back as soon as the boss had hoped, it appears now that he will make a move in the window and the favourites are Chamakh and Carlton Cole, with Carlton Cole holding the early lead, a deal for him and cash with Wilshere going the other way on loan looks likely.

Madrid are starting the swap talk for Higuain with Fabregas rubbish, yeah right, what planet are they on? I like Higuain, but I love Cesc, and so might I add does Wenger, either way it’s Barca or Arsenal for Cesc, and if he liked Barca so much, why did he leave them in the first place? I’ll give that story a big fat zero.

Another that has serviced is Lacina Traore, he plays in Romania, is 19 and from the Ivory coast, he is the next Ade they say, so why on earth would we be interested in him? Just what we need, another trouble maker that is still in nappies and one that will leave us every 2 years to play in the African Carling Cup.

Mind you, he is 19 and that will get Wenger excited, someone that could be good in 2014 just before we sell him!

Another piece of interesting news is that Owen Coyle, Bolton’s best kept secret is set to move for Celtic’s Aiden McGeady and will need to sell centre back Cahill to fund the move, if that’s true we should move quickly to buy him, he is England’s next big stopper, and one we should not pass up, perfect to take over from Gallas should he decide to move to France on a free.

The only good thing about the Bolton match being postponed is that we should have Cesc back for that one, trouble is, we didn’t need him for that one.

I can see a lot of games coming up in March that we could well do without, especially if we are still in the cups.

Interesting times, I will forgive the Arsenal should we follow the disappointment of not playing with a couple of signings this week, I’ll take Chamakh and Cahill. I’d sooner have Dzeko or Higuain but if Cole is fit, he may do the job that Bendtner can’t right now.

We’ll see, still only 2 days to go before we can hammer Everton again, 7 nil anyone! And no, that wasn’t a prediction!!!

I dont watch Serie A..ever but didnt Parma come up as a promotion side that season so creating 2 goals against them isnt exactly stepping up. The match itself just happened to be important.

  2. Pedro

The whole big game rubbish goes right over my head.

If your team wins the league and you score the most goals and get 10 assists, you’re a good player regardless of whether you scored in the cups games or the top of the table clashes.

  3. patthegooner

    I remember that link Zorr0

And it makes you wonder why they would have us believe that we would now pay double what Lazio paid Al-Sadd

  4. Stu

I agree with Pat. The cross made that Ibra side foot volley goal against Madrid. It was a great finish to control the shot on his bad foot but the cross itself was perfect.

  5. David

    Terrible logic A,

Ronaldo was injured! You know that! :D

    And Bendtner better than Ronaldo?

Is Agbonlahor Better than Rooney because Villa played antifootball against United and won 1-0 at the Old Toilet?

  6. patthegooner

Heard on the Radio earlier that Vieira is going to be on £140k a week

    Fucking Mugs

I love paddy, but he is not worth that.

  7. Pat

No Pedro. He NEVER contributes in the biggest of games. His record in the CL is awful and he has often been the worst player for Juve/Inter when it mattered most!

Pedro, you’re memory is slightly off as well. Change 12 yards to 7 and change top corner to middle height, near the post which is where the ball would naturally go if you stuck out a foot.

Its in HD too, to help you see better! =D

  8. Johan

    David:

The formation per se isn’t defensive, but if you know anything about the Swedish coach then you’d know he’s as cautious as anyone can be. And with the players Sweden have and the rather shite midfield, with a Källström more used to playing fullback and a defensive Svensson, and a fullback in Nilsson who doesn’t crosses the mid line, and with a Seb.Larsson being restricted to defensive duties as much as offensive ones, and finally with a Henrik Larsson doing shitloads of defensive cover, then it’s pretty obvious that it becomes a quite defensive team… Even though the formation is not.

  9. A

David, I wasn’t saying that that’s what I believe, I was going on your logic in saying that Ibra isn’t very good or Sweden would’ve qualified!!

I don’t consider international football to be proof in the slightest of a players quality, in a positive or a negative way!

  10. Stu

Vieira probably just went to Shity to boost his retirement fund. He must know he is too far gone to still be a success in the prem again. His legs have gone and his chances of starting for France in the WC are dwindling with Diarra and Toulalan both fighting for the DM stop.

Fuck it…If Diaby plays as well as he has been for the rest of the season he might even be in with a shout..he is the fans choice to be one of the DMs…apparently.

  11. David

    Pedro

    Its the saying.

Big Name players show up in Big games.

That Cross that Dani Alves put in was worth 25million. I mean you’d have had to try hard not to miss from how it was delivered.

The goals argument points out what im saying. This time last year Barca were at least 8 points clear of the rest of the pack.

    This year…….not so much.

League games are one thing what about Cup games?

Did barca just lose in the Cup-del-ray?

  12. A

Pat you could say rarely, but how on earth could you say “NEVER”, when you include a video of him scoring an absolutely superb finish in the biggest game of his Barca career!?!

  13. Pat

Pedro, once again, what did he do for Juve when Serie A was still probably the top league?!?!

Ibra started scoring after the top teams in Italy fell apart.

Ibra’s finish was perfect height for the keeper, but it was just too perfect of a cross and easier to score than miss imo.

The point is, you’re bigging up a goal that I’ve seen players like Kenwne Jones score.

  14. Alex

Ibra is a world class forward and in the top 5 in the world. He’s never scored in the knockouts in champs lge but I think he’ll do it this season with Barca. He was the main reason Inter won their last few titles.

  15. patthegooner

Thing is Stu, I reckon Shitty will play him. Would not even surprise me if Mancini makes him his captain.

I wonder who they drop for him.

I would laugh if it was Gareth Barry.

  16. Pedro

Pat, I just pointed out he scored against Roma and Fiorentina 4 times and he bagged an assist against Milan.

Are they not the big games in Serie A?

Then he popped up as a sub and banged in a volley from 7 yards from a cross.

Great technique, great composure. Exactly what you’d expect for that type of dough.

He’s had a consistently high goal return, a consistently high assists return… and now he’s banging them in for the big games.

    He’s a world class striker.

  17. Samir

Would the agent of Zarate really lie and talk out of his arse though?

Maybe we enquired about how much they would want……
They said 40m and Wenger shat himself?

  18. Pedro

Pat… 5 seasons ago Serie A was the best league in Europe? Behave…

We’re not arguing he was one of the best strikers 5 years ago!

  19. David

    Johan

I will be the first to admit that I dont know much about the Swedish national team…but I do know that Ibrahimovich had plenty of chances to put them ahead comfortably and consistently let himself and his country down.

It looked to me that as soon as the Dane’s scored everyone just got behind the ball. Except Bendtner. Which would be obvious why.

  20. Pat

A, it wasn’t “absolutely superb.” That shot will almost always go on target and he shot it like most players would in that instant, straight in front of him. If he was positioned more centrally, then you can call is an amazing finish.

The goal was gaping. He was 6.5-7 yards away and he was facing the area in which the ball flew in.

Normal strikers finish, imo. More often than not, the striker sticks out his foot and the balls goes right where the striker is facing. WOuld Ibra do the same if he was positioned centrally? I don’t think so, he’d shoot it straight at Casillas.

It was a typical strikers finish and I don’t think you should be bigging it up.

  21. A

David to connect with that cross as cleanly as Ibra did takes a hell of a lot of skill! It would be very easy to miss, and many would have!

This season Barca have won 12, drawn 4, lost 0, 40 points
    last season they’d won 13, drawn 2, lost 1, 41 points

    not a massive difference!

  22. Alex

Thats not even his agent. His brother is his agen, Sergio Zarate if i remeber correctly. Goal.com are worse than the sun.

  23. Johan

Even if it’s against a shite team, when this plays out, Inter is losing the Scudetto to Parma. Ibra steps in and:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OCN-mV6klw

Now because of him, they won. Aren’t those crucial goals at a crucial moment? I think indeed they are.

Now I don’t even understand myself why I defend him because I’m sick and tired of his arrogance and the whole hype around him.

  24. Pedro

Exactly Johan. If you score in the Champions League final against Porto, is it any less of a goal because they’re not the best in Europe?

    No…

    It’s a big game regardless.

  25. Pat

Pedro, tell me what did Ibra do with Juve when the top teams in Italy were close to their best?

Ibra started performing after Calciopoli and that speaks volumes. I’ve watched Serie A all my life. He was always vastly overrated.

He is absolutely shocking in the CL and that speaks volumes.

  26. Johan

    Pat:

What you say is true, but remember that he was at odds with certain players in Juve and he was injured a lot.

  27. Pat

Just watch Ibra against Liverpool and United, both legs.

Lack of intelligence, lack of finishing(against United), lack of ideas.

    In other words, a choker

  28. Pat

Thats Bull Johan. He was unjustly favored ahead of Del Piero and Del Piero constantly scored more despite playing less. Thats world class.

  29. Johan

Pat: You need to see the whole picture of those games, Inter completely choked against those teams, and Ibra was completely Isolated. Inter was a team relying on raw physical presence until the got Sneider in, which isn’t really a problem for premier league teams, and they still play like shite when they play against any team in the champions league.

  30. David

I dont know it seems to me that the goals have dried up in barca and its not as if the chances have…they are still there with a midfield with Xavi in it you are always going to get goals but to me the goals have dried up.

  31. Samir

So who is this Jose Alberti? Jose Alberti is a name used continuously on Goal.com to appear to give credence to otherwise speculative stories. Goal.com describe Alberti’s job in a number of ways, depending on the subject of the story. He has been called a ‘talent scout and transfer consultant’, a ‘South American football expert’ and in yesterday’s story Goal.com called him an ‘Argentine agent’.

  32. Johan

“Agent claims Arsenal are prepared to submit £35m bid for Lazio’s Mauro Zarate”

Now that agent surely is demented..

  33. A

Of the 4 games Barca have failed to win in the league Ibrahimovic didn’t play in 2, and he only came on as sub in the copa del rey loss….

This season Barca are one point worse than they were last season, and have scored slightly less goals too, but that tiny amount is attributed to henry imo. Ibra is as good if not better than etoo for me

  34. Johan

    Pat:

Ben Arfa is a little prick who thinks of himself as a superstar and who misses trainings when he is pissed. Let red nose do whatever he wants with Ben Arfa, he’d only be trouble for us. Nasri on the otherhand is, regardless of how you might feel about him on the pitch, a proffesional.

  35. Hig

How will we regret getting nasri? when he left he was marseille’s main man. Ben Arfa can’t even get a game now. nasri is well better than ben arfa! yet nasri can get a game for arsenal a bigger club than marseille!

  36. Hig

Sure let them have ben arfa. he won’t get a game. him nani and obertan can keep eachother company on the sideline. while nasri plays most games for us.

  37. B.B.K.

ibra is as good if not better then eto lollll that’s on par with that guy spouting bullshit like arsenal are prepared to part with 4o million for zarate kid……

  38. Gooby

pat- i follow the french league and hatem ben arfa is the shittest player out there. he is arrogant, no talent, shite passing, shite decision maker, gets into trouble with team-mates.

theo is ten times the player ben arfa is.

i would be glad to see him at untd tho ;)

  39. Johan

    B.B.K:

Ibrahimovic’s talent surpasses Eto’o's talent by far. But Eto’o has scored in two champions league finals. So there’s a point to be taken on both sides.

  40. A

Ibrahimovic contributes more with more of an all round game, last season in Serie A had a better goal to game ratio than Etoo does this season, and this season has scored 11 goals in 11 starts, with is better than Etoo’s 30 goals in 34 starts….

  41. Pat

Hig, it all depends on the coach.
I’d argue that Cana was even more important than Nasri for L’OM.

Also, world class players are more often than not cunts and players with bad discipline. They often want it more.

  42. patthegooner

    Well Well Well,

Alex, well pointed out earlier, that dude Jose Alberti is not Zarate’s agent.

In fact he has been a bit of a busy fucker this season, as a similar story linking Luca Toni to West Ham also had Mr Alberti quoted as being Toni’s agent when he was not.

Have a look at this link. It turns out that Alberti is just named as an agent to add credence to the story.

    http://westhamfc.blogspot.com/2009/08/who-is-jose-alberti.html

    and look at this

    http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/italy/2009/04/14/1208328/inter-liverpool-and-manchester-city-track-lazio-star-mauro-zarat

It turns out that all Alberti is, is the Argentine version og Guilemme Balague

You really would think that the likes of Sky Sports who have run with this story would do a little bit of digging before reporting on it.

  43. Johan

Yeah, but I don’t think it matters how much Ben Arfa wants it.. He has talent but it’s being spoiled on him not being able to perform what Deschamps expects him to, but hey, maybe he needs a Red Nose up his ass getting a hissyfit everytime Ben Arfa tries to fuck around, it has worked out well for many others.

  44. Hig

I think i would rather have eto’o though. i hate ibra’s attitude on the pitch. just like berbatov. lazy. eto’o works hard. and that’s a good point about him scoring in two champions league finals.
It’s like saying who would you rather rooney or drogba. different types of players but everyone has their own favourite.

  45. A

still too much for them pat!

They don’t care about truth and such like. Even if they knew that that was an incorrect story, they would still print it if it was printed elsewhere, having a story that could get hits is much more important than accuracy!

  46. choy

The press have literally no sense, how can they in their right mind think we will sign a midget striker for 40 mill!!!

  47. Hig

Zarate isn’t even an out and out striker he comes deep and plays off the front man. we play a 4-3-3 so he shouldn’t fit in. but he could just like arsh has the last few weeks. so i doubt he’s coming and for that price never gonna happen! You never know though do you.

  48. Johan

    Hig:

I’d give you my left and a piece of my right kidney if there even was a speck of truth in that statement. It’s f*cking BS is what it is.. Our options are pretty limited and therefore I hope Bendtner will return, even though I hate him :P

  49. Johan

Oh, I meant the statement from his supposed agent that Arsenal would be interested lol, sounded like I attacked you there, sorry :)

  50. patthegooner

Guys read up the post a bit, the story is made up.

Jose Alberti is not Zarate’s agent.

He has done it before to Luca Toni

  51. Hig

    Johan:

    No your grand.

Yeah your right. It is B.S but wenger will probably go along with the rumour saying he likes the player and all that shite. trying to keep the attention from where he is really looking. you know the way arsenal do transfers it’s all quiet and then bang you have a new player none of us ever heard of. that is apart from a couple of transfers.

  52. A

Theo would tear the french league to shreds. Ben Arfa is a talented player with a shocking attitude, if he came to the prem it’d be for 1/4 of the £40 mil quoted, that’s even more ridiculous than that Zarate story!

  53. PDT

    Hi all!

Very, very disappointed that Paddy has accepted Citeh’s lucre and wil be back in the EPL. Almost as bad as if Adams came back for Chelsea…..

  54. Pat

Theo can’t shred any team to shreds. Fact.

Theo wouldn’t even succeed in French league. Stop being so ignorant. The kid showed just how awful he is at the u21 world cup against opposition thats much, much worse than any French team.

  55. A

yeah i agree, the u21 is how you judge a player, definitely. Even David Bellion is quite good in the French league, Theo would be one of the best players in the entire league, and is a far better player than ben arfa.

  56. A

and that’s not a fact either, just saying it doesn’t make it a fact! Croatia, Birmingham, Villareal, Liverpool?

  57. Pat

Croatia, all goals laid on a plate by Rooney, along with dodgy keeping. He did not impress me at all that game.

    Villareal, good game.
Liverpool, good run, mediocre game, naive defending. He wouldn’t even come close to doing that against a French team cause they’d be smart enough to foul him. His cross was lucky too. It looked as if he didn’t luck and the ONE LPool defender back there almost got a toe on it but his momentum meant he didnt.

Sad that you name 3 games whilst he’s been at Arsenal.

I can name more for Veron and Bellion at United.

Theo would still be shit in Ligue 1. Theo wouldn’t get into Auxerre’s team. Enough said really, and I watch them on a regular basis.

  58. A

lol yeah, a french team is much smarter than livepool….

i named three games as examples, not as the only examples.

Theo would be one of the best players in the league. fact.

veron was one of the best players in the world in serie a, but couldn’t adapt to the prem, bellion is a very average player, who does well in a shocking league. There are many many players in the french league who do well but are very poor and wouldn’t cut it anywhere in a top league.

Ben Arfa isn’t even a regular, at the age of 22, for Marseille.

Theo at the age of 20 would be Marseille’s best player

  59. Pat

Ha, A don’t even talk about Ligue 1. You don’t watch it. Theo is shit and would be shit in Ligue 1.

Cheyrou, Gonzalez, Niang, Kone, and Valbuena are much better footballers than Theo.

  60. Pat

A, english teams are pretty daft when it comes to committing professional fouls. Don’t comment on a league you know very, very little about.

  61. A

Yeah obviously Pat, Mascherano is a really thick footballer when it comes to committing professional fouls…. Carragher too….

How do you know how much I watch ligue 1?!

  62. A

what’s the relevance of that Pat?!

Just as you said Ibra has NEVER done anything in any big game, you said Theo has NEVER torn ANY team apart, and I was just giving Croatia as an example which shows you to be incorrect in that statement….

  63. Pat

A, I do. You don’t and thats the big difference. You’ve always praised Theo. I used to. You’re just stuck to a single mindset. He is shit.

Even Swedish players came out in public and said he’s massively overrated.

  64. Pat

A, Theo didn’t tear them apart, so again, you’re wrong.

Rooney tore them apart and those goals were laid on a fucking plate. The Croatian keeper should have saved 2 of them as well!!

And you once said you don’t watch Ligue 1, so thats how I know.

  65. A

    Stuck to a single mindset?!

How did you use to praise Theo, but don’t know, when he’s improved greatly?!

I used to be a bit unsure about Theo actually, but the way he’s developed has made me very optimistic about how good he’ll become.

  66. A

They weren’t on a plate at all Pat, that’s like saying half of Henry’s goals were being put through by Bergkamp, so laid on a plate for him.

If someone is laid on a plate for someone, then they don’t have the keeper to beat in my eyes.

I don’t watch ligue 1 anything like as much as the prem, obviously, but I do watch it relatively regularly on a friday night, and enough to know that the quality is a long way below any top league, and it isn’t filled with mystically clever players, compared to the prem!

  67. Pat

Theo is 1 dimensional and hasn’t improved a bit. The runs he’s making now, he was making when we lost to Chelsea in the CC final.

He won’t make it at Arsenal and the sooner we get rid of him, the better for us and his career.

Stan COllymore had even more potential, look how that turned out. He was a better player than Theo at this age, from what I’ve heard.

  68. Pat

    A, thats were you’re wrong.

At the rate its improving, Ligue 1 will overtake Serie A. Come to think of it, their coefficients might actually be higher than Serie A next season!

  69. A

Stan Collymore was probably the most talented player in England at one time, absolutely amazing talent, just terrible attitude that held him back. He could’ve been a fantastic player

  70. Pat

I don’t think he’s good enough for us. Ramsey has already surpassed him, as has Vela.

    His time is running out.

  71. A

At 20 noone’s time is running out. This after you said that Diouf could be good, when he’s still just a prospect at 22?! Or Ben Arfa not even playing regularly in a substandard league at 22?!

  72. Pat

    Hmm

“This time last season, we had clocked 30 points from 19 games with a goal difference of +4. This season at the midpoint, we have 41 points after 19 games with a goal difference of +30. Do the math.”

  73. Pat

Ben Arfa isn’t playing because of personal disputes, not b/c of the lack of talent.

Mame Diouf looks a good finisher at least. Strong, big, and I’ll guarantee he’ll help United more this season than Theo will help us.

  74. Pat

A, just a random fact from Cultured left foot, I think.

+4 GD to +30 is pretty impressive.

He also said that 43% of our goals have come from midfield.

  75. A

    You’ll guarantee that Pat?!

You’ve decided that from a youtube video, how do you know he’s a good finisher?! Theo on youtube looks like one of the best players in the world!

The bloke doesn’t even get in the Senegal squad, and wasn’t all that prolific in a very weak Norwegian league.

I guarantee Theo would score a goal a game in that league!

  76. A

Yeah it is indeed Pat, I’d say that the main reasons are Arshavin, the change of system, Song, and Adebayor being gone!

  77. ethangunner

there are far better CDM’s than viera now ,AGREED. but he is far more capable of rallying the troups and doing an ok job ,im sure he will try and impress us ,and the french selection board … more so than denilson or diaby ..
and he loves playing in England .

hey PDT ! PV04 should be ours regardless

  78. Johan

    A:
    The discussion is probably over, but anyway;

Adebayor, sucked horses ass in the french league and was a success doing over 20 goals in Arsenal.. FACT!

Consider that instead of being arrogant and talking of mediocracy in a league you obviously don’t know anything about other than the odd story. The French Ligue 1 is a very defensivly oriented league, a player like Theo would be fucked if he went there.

The only reason why the premier league has so much better players is because there is extremely strict regulations with finances which makes it difficult to get foreign players to play there and to keep the french stars from staying.

  79. Johan

ffs, my comment on the regulations in the french league is completely screwed, I meant of course “to keep the french stars in the league”

  80. Pat

How Rafael Benítez and Sir Alex Ferguson must wish their clubs had Arsenal’s lenders. The Liverpool manager is entitled to only £1.5m from the £15m he is expected to raise this January and with the debt-and-interest burden ever growing at Old Trafford, Manchester United are never likely to release to Ferguson much of the £80m raised with Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.

In contrast Arsène Wenger is in a position of relative luxury, since the terms of his club’s loans demand he spends the bulk of the money he raises in transfers. All transfer revenues are held in a special account created during negotiations with lenders over the refinancing of the club’s £260m stadium loan and a minimum of 70% of this must either be retained or spent on transfers and contract renewals. Although the account’s millions are at Wenger’s disposal, the banks do hold a charge over it as security on the stadium.

The Arsenal Supporters Trust, whose analysts uncovered the existence of the account, estimates that Wenger’s judicious transfer-market operations have generated huge sums. “The club itself confirms that ‘all proceeds from player sale transactions are made available to manager’,” it says.

And so Wenger, unusually, commands more cash during this transfer window than almost any other manager.

  81. Stu

And he is fucking brilliant in PES too Pat. I wouldnt mind us signing him at all..

If im not mistaked Denmark have also promoted him to first choice CB after Laursens retirement last season. He must be fairly good to be an international starter at such a young age in a position that generally required a lot of experience.

  82. Jaguar

Hypocrite a.k.a Mr.Wenger wont sign none coz,it would jeopardise his bonus at the end of the season, for spending zilch.what a disgrace!

  83. Pat

Stu, Denmark can be a dark horse at the world cup.

Agger and Kjaer as CBs. Kroldrup is good as well, very good as a matter of fact.

Sorensen isn’t a bad keeper at all.

    Kahlenberg, Jon Dahl Tomasson, Bendtner.

Pretty solid spine for international football.

  84. nishanth

I am sure there are many better than campbell out there BBK.Lpool Chelsea and united have got decent CB’s as cover

  85. Stu

I agree Pat. Denmark are one of my prefered international teams as of late. Its mainly because of Bendtners involvement but they have a few more than decent players.

I will definately have a fiver on them come this summer.

agree with you jag that , that system is in place !
any corporate chain do the same with any of there branch managers !

there’s definitely some cut in it for wenger 100% certain …

  88. ethangunner

but he is close , or at least believes he is , i think he will buy ..

too many injuries , it cant be the excuse come the end of the season , he knows it and the fans know it !

    he will buy ..

will it be class ? fuck thats the million dollar question !

    my bet is NO !

    but maybe eventually .. .

  89. ethangunner

and because of that system that is in place ultimately its the board who manipulate wenger’s stinginess , which is what ive been saying all along ..

its the board who promote this vision …

Theo is scary as it looks like he will never make it with us but I would worry that he would make it elsewhere.

I think his skill levels are average but his pace and shooting could destroy teams.

I can’t understand how some guys on here slag off other Euro Leagues like the French and Dutch when they produce so many marvellous players.

The Prem is not what it is cracked up to be with many average defenders, few good Dms and even a lot of crap strikers playing in it.

Look at us as an example and tell me what Big Euro team would have a prick like Almunia playing in goal.

    Hi Ethan,

The Arsenal board have always been tight arses as i remember Georgie boy moaning about no money.

Bertie Mee dismantled one of our best ever sides within 2 seasons in the early seventies as we sold all our assets like George and Kennedy, McNab, Graham, Mclintock,Radford. All gone in no time. That team could have dominated for many years instead of the Scousers with that piss head jock who they idolise to this day.

I too believe Wenger will sign players in January up to 3 imo.

Sol will do for this season, it could be that he might not even play and if he did at least he would be better than that Manc twat.

Sol will not hold up a youngster and in fact he would be a great help with the kids in training. Lets hope he doesn’t get to play much though.

By the way Sol is English so our quota would increase.

    Hey El tel ..

yes , i hope theo will get his chance , one thing wengers good at el tel is giving people probably too many chances prior to them failing .. i hope for once it works out for theo …
and the english arsenal fan !

But he is english!! :) so you just never know with wenger , he might get the boot .. wenger also has vela and nik B .

you can put all 3 into the same bag ..
    even dudu .4. …..potential in waiting …

in fact wenger might even sell theo even if he is playing well .
    (to re-coupe the 15 mil or so ) …

    EL TEL

That team could have dominated for many years instead of the Scousers with that piss head jock who they idolise to this day.
    ——————————————-
    same happened in 2003-4
we had a team that dominated , yet we stripped it back to the bare wiring and did it all again it sounds like …

a master stoke for cash flow for the stiffs on the board ,its like the bilderburgs.. but its nothing short of highway robbery for the fans ..

them pricks on the board would steal your hub caps off your car whilst its still moving !

  95. ethangunner

    JAG

    another interesting conspiracy theory is
if wenger gets kick backs from not hacking into the budget , just imagine what slice of the cake the board get ???

i couldn’t imagine they are lining arsene’s pockets and not there own !

    can you ????????????????????

  96. ethangunner

it had better be , mind you he couldnt be much worse than fish face AA !

fuck , we have A and now we have AA ..

lets hope we dont get a new member named AAA :)

he will be a REALLY big asshole :)
