Interesting day today, the boss says he may buy, Arsene, replace ‘may’ with ‘will’ we are on their shoulders but we could easily slip back to 8th, by your own admission.
Yes the bollocking turned it around, but it was far from convincing, Liverpool were more shit than we were good, we got away with it and the one player that dug us out of the do-do was the one player you paid a lot of money for. So that really illustrates what buying class players achieves. We need players, we lost Robin, Ade and Bendtner, Theo, Eduardo and Rosicky look fragile, as do all our left backs, and we never replaced Djourou, so in theory that is four or five players short of last season. We are skating on thin ice, so I say get rid of the fringe players like Senderos, Randall and Simpson and buy some class.
That’s no reflection on those players, I like them, but it’s clear they have no future with us, and I think it would be fairer to let them go.
I read that we were in for Van der Vaart and Steven Defour, good call, midfield covered, all we now need is a striker a centre back and a keeper, get the right players in and we can take the league.
If you believe the current crop is good enough then it doesn’t matter about players being cup tied. Does it! That way we’ll have enough cover for all eventualities.
Cesc has told Marca he intends playing for Catalunia, if that’s true then I believe he will go, Ramsey is good cover should something happen, and I wouldn’t want to have an unhappy Cesc, he is very average when he’s unhappy.
Tonight I expect a full squad with maybe Eboue in for Sagna, I think Diaby will get the nod over Denilson and frankly after Sunday, I would give Eboue the nod over Denilson, but don’t hold your breath.
We really need to win tonight as Villa are proving to be the bit you can’t shake off your shoe, if Burnley come out to play, we should easily beat them, they keep talking about how they beat us last time at their gaff, but they forget, that was our youth team, start out like we mean it, shut them down, everytime a team shuts us down, they stop us playing, Coyle will know that and they’ll be up for it, time to show our credentials, beat them, we have Hull, beat them it’s Villa and then Pompey away, by the start of January we could be top, or we could be 8th, it’s your call Arsenal, how much do you want it?
One thing is for sure, we won’t do it with the keeper we have, once again he was at fault, you can see how the defence are nervous everytime the other team gets near our area, we can all see it boss, why on earth can’t you? Let Fabianski loose, at least he commands his area, he is a great shot stopper, and he makes himself big like Given. …Given, £8million, if only…
I think we’ll beat them and I think we’ll go through the year winning. First stop Burnley, come on Arsenal and come on Arsene, time to get the cheque book out.
I hear from many of you that another blog chose to write a post about us again, guys thanks, but you are supposed to be writing about Arsenal not us, we appreciate the hero worship and we know you had a record 50 comments as a result, but the whole point of blogging about Arsenal is to talk about Arsenal. Thanks for the thoughts though. I didn’t read it by the way, so you’re wasting your time if you want me to name you, I won’t.
If anyone wants to put their tickets for Villa on Le Exchange, please do, we still have some Hull ones left.
Have a great day and a better night, destiny draws ever closer and at last we can go into the Christmas fixtures in contention, come on Arsenal!

Well that was shit, Theo and Nasri really not found any form since returning from injury, we were just really flat today, very frustrating performance and result.
At least the kids apparently won on penalties after a 3-3 draw, though that’s precious little consolation
Its December…..it ain’t fucking well over !!!
Nite all
ooby,
we have our views, but i dont definitely agree walcott on right,he should play in reserves…but he would not be made to,as he would then ask for a transfer…
this is some agenda based on the cost of fans frustration
great goal be n’zogbia.
Sabeel Indian Gunner Says:

looks like the rant worked only for 2nd half of pool, and walcott play at left or cf,else refuse to play at right…and stop giving useless interviews…
———————————————————
Spot on about Walcott and his fucking interviews.
‘we frighten defenses at times….’ Oh really, WE?
Song was taking over the offensive responsibility cause everyone else was fucking clueless, actually.
I hope Cesc is back asap.
We will look upon those GREAT, 100% chances and think “what if”.
This game shouldn’t have been a contest after 20 minutes.
I really hope Theo gets dropped, forever. Wilshere would do more out there
Apparently the spuds scored a marvellous third goal (by krankzar). makes the day even worse.
Ooby,i am losing interest in that
catch u all later
hoping fabregas is not out for a long time
tata…a point is better than nothing based on such a shit performance
two performances sum us up….yes great at times but gutless apart from Cesc and Ardshavin going forward.
Sharkey
I think you are right, it aint over.
I dont think we will win it, but I dont think we are completely out of it either. A lot will depend on Jan. Man Ure will still drop points and quite a few of them. It is about how Chavski cope with the ANC and if Wenger can get past his stubborness and sign a player or two to drive us on until May.
okay … that’s why u focking kill ur chances off … not 1 or 2 or 3 … but 4 focking clear chances that went begging …
burnley thought … hmmm they’re not that good after all … let’s get a tie.
now what da fuck, what da fucking fuck …
ah yes … i have never bashed on an Arsenal player, but Almunia has to really go, really really go, otherwise he’ll fuck off the hard way
where do you get marvellous from sfo?! it was ok. Spuds winning is a good thing imo – city will be further up the table this season than them come the end of it.
Cesc’s injury is a worry, though we shouldn’t need him against Hull, Villa though he’s a must for
zeus
yes i know, its really foolishness for us fans to keep reading such interviews,by kids who have yet to prove there worth that they deserve to wear ‘A ARSENAL SHIRT’
good nite all…as a i said
based on such a ordinary, shit performance where we could have lost,it is better we have a point instead of nothing…
it’s not even clueless, it’s just gutless – misplaced passes, no desire to chase the opoosition down, no running towards the passes, no nothing…
Wenger, sell half of these mugs, buy some POWER for fuck’s sake – youth policy failed miserably and this is official…
Burnley showed what we’re missing tonight and how hard it’s going to be to get it, they played far better and are a far better ‘Team’ than the sum of their parts, and thats it really.
The good thing is that I think we’ve got a run of games coming up at home to get it together. It showed in how Ramsey, who was much more conservative then he usually is at home, dropped deeper and wasn’t willing to run with the ball forward and link up the play, that is probably down to confidence.
Leaving Song and Diaby to try and urge the team on, it also mean’t Nasri and Arshavin dropped deeper to look for the ball leaving us without the ‘shape PattheGooner mentioned.
Whoever thought we were suddenly going to turn it on and become this super-efficient team like we haven’t seen for nigh on two years now is having a laugh, as are those that thought a team that can give the sort of Jekyll and Hyde performance seen at Liverpool would find it easy to go away to burnley and win.
It’s going to take games to put the sort of consistency we want from the players together and several of them and if players keep dropping to injuries it just makes it harder, I think it’s Hull next, hopefully at home we’ll play with more confidence.
To the Sharkster it is all over till next season!!
so predictable ,cold december night away from home arsenal bottle it again
I guess the postive is that at least Arsene can’t claim that his strikers are proving to him that he does not need to sign anyone
Almunia and Walcott should be embarassed with their performances tonight. neither deserved even 4 out 10 maybe 3 if I am generous.
Not sure why vermaelen made that stupid tackle in the box. he will learn from that. Burnley were given a lift by that. before that they were shell shocked and we could have got 3 or 4 goals. but their second ‘goal’ was not offside, so we should have lost tonight.
I had a bad feeling about this game all day.
and yes, this is over – any team of shitkickers knows that it’s enough to get in our faces and close us down…
Our players up front go for the beautiful flicks, and stupid things…they needs to put their heads down and take on those defenders one on one…
Only Shava and Bendtner were doing that for us…
As usual, some players out there were hiding
As if we didnt know Van Persie was injury prone.
Expected result and nothing much to complain about.
We’re are a relatively average team and doing alot better than we should be imo, especially considering our personnel, with garbage like Diaby, Denilson and Walcott in our ranks.
The players Wenger signed in 2006 our killing us.
Stupid, stupid challenge from Verm, but is it just me, or was that a soft pen? He had his foot on Bikey’s toes ffs!
Pat,
dangerous play, contact, penalty, end of…
I thought Diaby disappeared in the second half too. I thought Vela should have come on for him.
nasri, ramsey and Song in the middle, Vela, Arsh and Eddie up top would have been better. Eduardo lacked any pace that he had before his injury. vela would definitely have made something of that through ball that Jensen picked up unchallenged. Eddie bottled it.
David if the challenge that happened to VP had happened to any player in the league it would’ve done serious damage, nothing to do with being injury prone.
Burnley are strong at Turf Moor, we should’ve won, but let’s not make out we lost to some whipping boys, we failed to beat a team who’ve only lost once at home this season.
It was a poor result, but we aren’t suddenly complete shit and the season over etc etc
Nah Pat, absolutely stone wall, very poor from Vermy.
gazzap I thought Diaby was ok, I would’ve kept him on and taken Nasri off for Vela
Ive been saying for over a year now, Theo isnt good enough, not even close to a CL level player.
Nasri definately could be, but he needs to start imposing himself on games & being more agressive.
and sure, Silvestre deserves contract extension, eh?
if Wenger gives him that, it will mean that he will fucking lost his marbles…
Theo is the worst winger in the country, without a doubt.
We should have won this game comfortably. The players saw we we creating a lot and they underestimated Burnley.
Diaby and Song had good games imo.
Their last goal kick took 45 seconds of the 3 minutes added time. I fucking hate refs.
I also heard we were denied a stonewall pen in the 1st minute(I started watching right before our goal).
standard excuses from wenger there then!
A,
I would be happy with a draw there, it’s the performance that was absolutely shit, not the result…
and don’t tell me that we are still in it, ‘cuz we are NOT…
Paulinho = Heh, long time, what you been upto ? You can’t say we’re an average team doing much better than we should be and continue to big up Vela and Merida at the same time, just a thought.
Listened to the game on arsenal tv tonight. After the game they do a phone in, the guy presenting it is very good. Nothing like tom watt on a friday night. He’ll probably be sacked tomorrow for disagreeing with lord wenger though.
Diaby was good today, kept the ball well and tried to look for openings, something that even Song tried to do when the chips were down. We should have had Eboue or Wilshere out there, players who can beat people and make things happen (Eboué’s final ball is beginning to improve, thank God)
I have rarely read more shite on LG than in the last hour.
Had WG taken his chance we would have won the game. Check out the stats and see how much territorial advantage we had. Had AA’s shot gone in we would have won a by 4.
And lest we forget. Our Arsenal got one more point at Burnley than the great MU team that you guys think so highly of. They drew with AV as well.
Reading this bile (and to the blogger who suggested Theo should fuck off and die…. shame on you) has upset me more than our ineffectual performance.
We lost Cesc, we lost shape. Burnley double teamed Arshavin and Theo had a poor night. Doesn’t make us shite does it? We are 3rd in the table FFS.
I wouldn’t say that SUGA3, I was expecting a tight game, but thought we could get an early goal, then snatch a second, or maybe it would be tight until later on. Instead we were awesome in the first 20 mins, should’ve been a few ahead, then conceded a shit goal, and knocked us out of our stride, Cesc got injured, and we just couldn’t get any fluidity or momentum again, and it was tight until the end.
The result is what was a real fucker for me, it worries me.
How are we not still in it though?!

———————————————————-
Surely thats being OTT Pat. He is NOT very good at all, but the worse?
Paul88 – What did he disagree with ?!
Raddy
Everything you say is correct but Walcott and Almunia are not good enough.
Keyser , I posted my thoughts on the Liverpool game on Monday. I’m grand thanks.
Your Merida and Vela point makes no sense. Wenger has no intention of ever playing them, in their natural roles, in any important game. So they’re moot.
i would not mind if we lost…I would not even mid if we played badly and lost….
BUT I do mind that we do not play to something resembling our ability! Every week I keep telling myself some of these players have no self respect…
They need a kick up the arse every morning to perform
Big Raddy
When they start handing out the premier league trophy for “average territorial advantage over 38 games” your post will mean something.
And had the Chavs not got a highly dubious penalty, they would have drawn at home to the bottom club’s reserves.
This title is going to the wire, and we are going to the there or thereabouts (in racing parlance)
BR,
sorry mate, but you just can’t defend this performance – we lost Cesc, we’ve lost shape? are we a one man team now?
AW says we have such immense strength in depth, doesn’t he?
and oh, Cesc pulled a hammy – we are screwed, Villa will bumfuck us without him…
the guy on arsenal tv that interviewed wenger said he’s upset with the fixture list and that manure only play 37 games a season whilst we have 38. (meaning the wolves game last night).
Cesc has a hamstring injury, he definately misses the game at the weekend.
Theo, Eduardo, Nasri, Wilshere, Vela are off form at the moment, they havn’t just become shit, just as Arshavin, Cesc, VP didn’t just suddenly turn shit when they had their poor runs of form in the last few months.
The overreaction and irrationality of some is laughable, though I guess emotions always run high when there are disappointing results.
zeus, the easiest to mark surely. Eagles has more brains than him. SWP, Lennon, Downing, Young, Nani, Valencia, the list goes on
Pat I’d say he’s one of the hardest to mark, but much easier to deal with when he’s on the ball

—————————————————————
No kidding Sherlock. The game ended 1-1, had anyone taken their chance for Arsenal we would’ve won. Whats your point.
Territorial advantage, didn’t we have that against Chelsea? Meant fuck all in the end as I remember.
Paulinho – Kind of just skim through posts now, sorry to have missed yours.
Mate if we apply the same reasoning most do on here to other players, Vela’s had his little chance and he should be shipped off. When they all seem to lack the confidence of a team with several good performances behind them, thing is Vela’s got the new contract from Wenger and he’s accepted it I think ? as has Merida, so the only people who seem to think they have no chance of playing is erm you and..
A
It doesnt take away from the fact that Van P is injury prone. And pretty much half of the Arsenal team for that matter.
We shoudve bought a Striker in the summer.
Bolton at home is our game in hand. Say we win that:
5 pts behind Chelsea and 2 behind United. Still very possible, but we have to take our fucking chances.
Today was just an illustration that currently we’re no better at beating the little teams than Chelsea and Utd, and we’re going to need to be if we’re to win the league, as I don’t see us being better at beating the big four
And what precisely does your total negativity bring to the table Gambon?
I present a reasoned argument showing that Burnley did not boss the game, and that despite a below par performance from us, it was not a disaster.
But I realise that I am throwing pearls before swine and wish you a goodnight.
A,
we are not, period – Chavs, Manure, Villa, even fucking Spuds have more heart…
there were too many gutless performances so far this season already…
Wenger is sending teenagers to do grown men’s job…
Pat – Lennon is as dopey as Walcott he’s just had shedloads of games consecutively, Walcott’s been injured half the time he’s been with us, injury prone maybe, shit ? Fuck no.
If we were sitting back waiting for Burnley to attack and trying to counter, Walcott would have shitloads of space to run into, but who the fucks going to give him that ? Thats the difference.
new deal loose form is spreading faster than pig flu at the arse
Yeah SUGA3, as Utd showed against Burnley getting a point less than us, or Chelsea showed at home against Everton?!
We’ve now dropped points in the same number of games against the little teams as them, before that game we’d been more consistent, now we’re level with them in that regard.
i think the main point is we are lacking desire or fighting spirit.
we can score goals, but when we are under pressure, whole team just surrenders.
whenever manu, chelsea are loosing,in last 15-20 mins they look very dangerous.whole game is played in one half.
while in our case it never ever look like we’re gono score.we have no heart.
we prefer to play beautiful football rather than winning.
Me and Arsene Wenger.
A,
like I said – it’s not the result, it’s how they played…
half of them don’t deserve to wear the shirt, let alone new diamond studded contracts…
So much for yet another “turning point.”
Result fucking hurts for several reasons. We tore them a new arsehole in the first 20 minutes and thats where champions take their chances. Then a stupid, stupid challenge by Verm when Bikey took an awful touch anyway.
bah.. the league is there for the taking and again we’re far too inconsistent
Raddy – the voice of reason – always !!!
Wishing death on Walcott….makes me embarrassed to support the same team…or do we…??
Whoever it was is either Scum, or they’ll be back on tomorrow being all contrite, claiming ‘I wuz well angry…’
Paulinho – heh, that was funny. Some much needed humour.
Suga3
Agree about the lack of gut…
But what pisses me is that these players are capable of doing it…its just that they dont want to go the extra mile…they are well paid, like the nice interviews in the media, and do a kind of a job on matchdays…
Do they really care about the club??? I am not sure. Wilshere would have done a good job in place of Nasri today…Eboue would have done well compared to Walcott…at least these players try even if they are younger or less talented.
And the youth were almost embarrassed by Crewe. Won it in penalties.
u guys if u cant deal with disappointment do yourself a favour and forget about winning the league
if we lucky we might win a cup
or it wld be another unfruitful year in terms of trophies
SUGA3 they played better than both Utd and Chelsea have in some games this season…. All three teams are currently fairing very very similarly against the smaller teams
Pat – Honestly, why the hell would you expect an easy turning point from this team ? The thing thats most prevalent from almost all of them is that it’s not just going to come naturally to them, most need games, others experience and the biggest thing is confidence.
We all saw how they played in both halves at Liverpool, you can’t expect them to turn it around like that, if we’d had Van Persie and Fabregas fit I think we might’ve walked that, but we don’t, we have to work at it from every game on now.
It was sad about Fabregas, especially considering how he started, he seemed almost above everyone else on the pitch.
Keyser, game should have been over when Cesc was still on the pitch. Until we learn to take simple fucking chances, we will win fuck all.
How hard is it? 1 v 1 with the keeper and Nasri didn’t even shoot!
Pat Says:
December 16, 2009 at 21:06
Walcott, go die, seriously. I fucking hate you more than any rival player.
You’re not welcome at Arsenal you useless cunt
——————————————-
Pat….hang your head in shame.
Would you be welcome at the Emirates wishing death on an Arsenal player…??
Control your fucking emotions.
A,
you’ve gotta be fucking kidding me…
Arsene should dump a few of them to the reserves to make an example, but who do we replace them with?
our bench today was nothing short of pathetic and standing in the technical area, giving players evil looks instead of going Joe Pesci, yeah, that will show them…
Raddy,
TBH im not that worried about tonights result. I am very negative about the team in general, because nothings changing, year after year we have the same problems, and the short sighted frenchman wont do a thing about it, other than handing fat new contracts to failures.
You could argue that we’re not that far off the other big teams, well here’s the problem with that.
Chelsea – look to be the strongest team in the PL. Its hard to see where they need dramatic improvement, therefore its hard to criticise.
Utd – Can get a lot more patience from their fans. They have won it all these last few years and are rarely top at this point anyway. If they dont win it they will blame fergie for not replacing Ronaldo, although the lack of defensive cover has also hurt.
Arsenal – Stevie fucking Wonder can see that certain players arent good enough. We have a right to be more angry than other fans cos we have obvious problems that arent being addressed.
The other issue is that UTD & Chelsea will probably spend money in the window, where as Wenger is probably just gonna use his budget to give Denilson & Mannone £100k pw contracts.
I dont care if we finish 1st or 18th, as long as the manager is trying to improve things day in day out, but he isnt. The team is stagnant.
Pat – Thats my point, it’s not going to come just like that, we need some luck, we need players to stay fit and play consecutive games for once.
Eduardo would have taken those chances 2 years ago, it’s down to confidence, we know Nasri can finish, we either scrap all of them or we wait for them, we’ve got some games at home coming up, hopefully we can build the momentum we need.
It’s not going to be easy, it never is.
Not die, but he can fuck off and get injured. He is useless. I never liked him and never will.
All talk from that kid, nothing else. If he stayed quiet, I wouldn’t mind, but he can’t just shut his yap.
Some of you comfort yourselves with the idea that Manu and Chelsea will drop points too. So what. They undoubtedly will, but we will also.
Additionally we are not charge of our own destiny as we are currently behind both those clubs. Which means that we have to be far more consistent than them if we plan to win the league. So we gained on them last weekend, now we are right back where we started. Them dropping points is no comfort.
gambon
I don’t think the mancs will buy. I think they are in the shit financially.
Plenty of people on here predicted a hard game today and that’s what we got. I can’t see how Webger thinks almunia is good enough. Walcott is terrible.
Keyser,
we are The Arsenal – last time I checked we were a football club, not a fucking charity for crocks and failures…
Well, this result makes Villa a MUST WIN game. No excuses…and hopefully no Theo either.
if wenger cant realize, atleast almunia and walcott should that they have no right to wear arsenal shirt.
Pat,
Villa will fucking obliterate us…
and yes, we will be stopped by ‘not good enough’ Dunne and shot down by ‘thick’ Agbonlahor…
SUGA3 – Honestly dude what type of comment is that ?!
I cant stand A’s excuses. He never accepts that we played badly.FFS
Wenger can’t too Jaguar, he’s blaming the pitch!
Fabianski has to start next game, or Szczesny. We can’t have that clown in goal and we can’t have a sprinter playing football for Arsenal.
Theo cost as much as Ronaldo cost United. Ha, he will never be 1/100th as good as CR.
We’re fucked against Villa if Cesc doesn’t play. Ramsey isn’t that good.
where are Wengers comments?
we are an organisation resembling a football club which is more of a training academy than anything else.
We train young average players to become grown up average players…
Jaguar, the thing is, we didn’t play badly!
Game should be over in 20 minutes, 4-0 and thats that.
There is no point talking about the other 70 minutes. A great team finishes off Burnley with the chances we had. We tore through them.
Hit the nail on the head there ritesh
Ramsey will have a game by then, I think he’ll do ok.
We are having problems finishing chances and defending them.
We never seem to keep a clean sheet!
Pat with respect I don’t give a fuck about ronaldo. Theo would be better off at west brom or boro.
If Wenger really is blaming the pitch he is a real cunt, that is just offensive to every arsenal fan out there.
For a few years I just thought he was under extreme budgetry constraints, now i just think he’s senile or has some alzheimers like disease. He has lost it as far as im concerned.
We still haven’t fully recovered from Hleb and Flamini leaving.
Song-Cesc-Flamini would be rather defensive, but Flamini made our tempo much faster with his style and running.
Why do we always sell our best players. Fuck this team, I can’t take it anymore.
How do professional footballers not take their chances day in and day out?
gambon, I don’t think Wenger has much say on how much money he has available.
This club has been shady as fuck for the past few years.
he also moaned about the fixture list.
Pathetic.
I don’t remember where I read this, but someone said this about Theo on a blog.
Walcott needs to improve and add diversity to his game or he will become nothing more than a well mannered Jermaine Pennant.
I suspect that had Walcott been in the reserves he would be in the same bout as Gilbert and Hoyte, but Wenger spent a lot a dough on him, he has to save face…..
“Mathematically and mentally prepared for the title challenge” Fuck off you french piece of shit, obviously they’re not.
Whilst teams roll over for CHelsea and United, refs give them decisions, we get fuck all + loads of injuries.
Its time he started looking at himself and the team, there’s nothing wrong in accepting we are not good enough.
Always in denial!
What if we dont take our chances Pat?A can rant about how good we are.But at the end of the day,we dont capitalise on the chances, and hence dont deserve to win.As simple as that.
We still deserve it Jaguar, but we just don’t have the ability to get it. 2 different things
Hey hey hey hey heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey. Come on Pat, CHILL OUT. Wenger knows best.
I think this is the first season he really has to deliver a trophy, especially after what he has said. I think he’s gonna face quite a backlash in may….Then he’ll probably sulk and everyone will feel sorry for his again.
Just saw the Wenger interview on BBC..No mention of pitch there.
he said the players took their foot off the gas as soon as they scored and allowed Burnley a way back. After that, they did not create enough chances and struggled physically, were not sharp enough.
fab,any update on fab
My own squad analysis (I will put an asterisk next to names worth keeping)
GKs:
Almunia – fuck right off
*Fabianski – should be given a chance, but I won’t hold my breath
Mannone – sell
*Szczesny – ‘too young’ – Wenger won’t trust him
Defenders:
*Bac – A.Q. (Arsenal Quality)
*Verm – ditto
*Willy – ditto
*Clichy – ditto, but crocked (and this injury is there to stay, given how shit our medical team is)
*Gibbs – A.Q.
*Traore – ditto
Silvestre – reasonable, but should go
Phil – as good as gone
JD – shit
Midfielders:
*Cesc, *AA, *Song – A.Q.
*Nasri – too inconsistent, another fancy dan
Denilson, *Diaby, *Eboue – marmites
*Ramsey, *Merida, *LJW – talented but not ready
Rosicky – permanently crocked
Strikers:
TW, Dudu, *Vela – hot & cold (more of the latter atm)
*RvP – A.Q. but out for a season
*Bendtner – another Marmite
that is 17 players worth keeping, out of which 4 are not ready yet…
hammy. misses saturday
pat,any update on fab
I think its a vicious cycle,Paul.Even if we end up with zero trophies(all down to the stubbornness of Mr.Wenger),what we gonna do is obviously wait for the next season. What we have learnt from our trophyless seasons is that
1)4th place is equivalent to winning the Champions league
2)AKB(To me,its Arsene knows Bullshit)
3)So on
Our fans are just a fucking bunch of losers.
Keyser – what kind of comment?
realistic mate – football is a result business…
On the brighter side, 5 pts behind CHelsea(if we beat Bolton at the Emirates) is nothing at this stage of the season.
We must improve/buy asap.
Diaby was good today. Rarely gave the ball away actually.
Cesc and vermaelen were showing real heart and really wanted to win it. Fuck our luck with injuries
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger slammed the Barclays Premier League’s fixture compilers and Wolves boss Mick McCarthy after his side were frustrated by Burnley.
The Gunners had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor after Graham Alexander’s penalty cancelled out Cesc Fabregas’ early strike.
The result was a setback to Arsenal’s title hopes and came 24 hours after rivals Manchester United had cruised to a 3-0 win against a below-strength Wolves.
Wenger was frustrated at having to face tougher opposition and was also angered that this weekend’s opponents, Hull, have not played this week.
Hull had originally been scheduled to face Everton this week but the fixture was moved to November because of the Merseyside club’s European commitments.
Wenger said: “I think the Premier League has a basic promise to organise the fixtures in a normal way.
“The guy who organised the fixtures this season must have come out of a special school, because he is more intelligent than I am!
“For sure, he has never played football, organising midweek games in a week when you have a Europa League.
“We have some teams who do not play at all. We play Sunday and Wednesday away and at home on Saturday against Hull, who have not played all week.
“It is also damaging for Burnley.”
On the subject of McCarthy’s team selection, the Frenchman was equally forthright.
Wenger said: “It is sad, but what can I do about that? I am responsible for Arsenal.
“We compete with Manchester United over 37 games instead of 38.
“I believe it is a problem for the international credibility of the Premier League, but it is not my problem, it is a Premier League problem.”
In a further blow for the Gunners, Fabregas was forced off with a hamstring injury before half-time and will definitely miss the Hull clash.
Wenger was disappointed not to have followed up Sunday’s win at Liverpool with another.
“I always wanted six points,” he said. “Really I expected more to drop two points at Liverpool than here but I believe Burnley had a very good time tonight.
“They did not have one moment when they lost focus.”
pathetic excuses from Wenger…
we are a TOP SIDE, ffs, start acting like you manage one…
The gap at the top wouldn’t be a concern to me if we were in good form and getting players back.
Unfortunately our form is getting worse, the goals have dried up and every game we play we get another injury.
The reality is we need more than one player in january but we’ll be lucky to get one.
Suga,
My favourite part was;
JD – Shit
Cos its true.
On the subject of McCarthy’s team selection, what was the problem with his selection?
Pat,
no, we did not deserve to win today – another lesson in how to play from your heart from a team in claret & blue – exactly what happened @ WHU…
this team is learning fuck all…
SUGA, heart or no heart we deserved to win today.
bullshit, Pat – once again, they thought they will walk over a lesser side and it came back and bit us in the arse…
Don’t see any excuses from Wenger in that post. Learn to read before you comment
Both teams above us will drop points in December
I wont blame the team. The manager knows fuck all.FFS,I dont need to be paid £6m to comprehend the needs of our team.FFS,you flipping professor ,open your fucking eyes, and admit the mistakes, than passing the buck.
What are his pathetic excuses? I can’t se him making any from that post from choy
WTF is A,Mayank and SS?They would go for a hiding, once we drop points, and would be back ranting about Mr.Wenger after a win.
Pat,
blaming ‘tough’ fixture list is pathetic – learn to read between the lines, and don’t ever try to insult me…
He wasn’t blaming a tough fixtutre list. He was stating a point. If we lose to Hull it would be an excuse but we have to play them first
SUGA, learn to fucking comprehend! How is that an excuse for todays game? Its not.
MistaKen and we wont?
Read between the lines. Is that a special language?
he is stating why did arse have to play a game today!
He’s actually saying that Hull didn’t play today. You can twist everything he says to make him look a cunt if that’s what you want
well, so fucking what? a manager is supposed to MANAGE, that includes motivation, if it has to be negative motivation, so be it…
Still, what worries me most is our fixtures toward the end of January. FA are cunts, I’ll tell you that.
We need to stay within 5 pts. until then, hopefully even less., to have a chance.
Win against Villa is a must though.
We were talking about the fixtures the other day – it seems ridiculous that Utd and Chelsea both had two home games, and we had two tough away games, in a notoriously difficult period with lots of games coming up.
I don’t care about Hull though, we’ll spank them on Saturday at the Emirates, Villa is the big one now, a real must win
goonermichael,
Theres no need to twist his words, he does a good job of making himself look like a cunt.
guys,
my point is not that he is a cunt, far from it, but if we have title ambitions we should be able to get on with it and beat two mid table teams (at best – Burnley are the new boys and Hull were a relegation fodder last season) within the space of a few days…
my point is that we have been beaten at our own game by a bunch of shitkickers tonight…
We dont need to twist his words to make him look an idiot. He himself is serving the purpose moaning about it.I am sure,he wouldnt have come up with it,had we won today.Hypocrisy!
True Pat, though from February 11th every game after that is very much winnable. We’ve had a really horrible fixture list up to then, but after that we’re home free, we just need to still be within 6 points then, and I reckon we’ll win the league.
On(c)e Arsene Wenger, On(c)e Arsene Wenger! Night guys. And don’t belive in any trophy this season, and give Arsene another 2 years to finish his “project”.Night, once more.
Yes he still would have said it if we’d won Jaguar, and again you don’t seem to understand the meaning of the word hypocrisy, you should cease to use it until you do….
Ridiculous logic,A.We had the easiest opening fixtures in the league, compared to any other top four team.I didnt see you ‘moaning’ about that before. Why do it now.
Relax Jaguar, mate. You didn’t expect us to win today, did You?
when DD was here, Wenger was well supported
He needs another guy like DD…. to convince him to buy
Jaguar, give uncle Arsene another 5 years to complete his project. You will see the great Arsenal once again.Trust in Arsene.
Maciek,
I was expecting to win against the new boys trying to play football against allegedly the best footballing side on the planet, bar Barca…
I have realised, i need to take some distance from this team now…it takes too much of my time and energy…
Need to look at it from…..far….really far
Dein was the only person that had ANY influence on him…
