Am I the only person who thinks Diaby should play in the striker role with Arshavin playing just off him? To me, Diaby is tall, strong and is the most underrated finisher at Arsenal…

liverpool are always up for playing us ..
remember their dreadful run a couple of years back when raffa was under fire and we played em over 2 legs in the C.L quarter’s .. it changed the end of there season and them beating us and moving on relieved some pressure on raffa … and we were a better team then with hleb – flamini and cesc (theo) dominating the midfield back then too.

wenger would probably take a point if it was offered to him right now !

Its unfair to blame Liverpool for losing against Fiorentina. Despite Benitez saying they were really up for it, I doubt the players shared the same thoughts.

Why would they be up for it? They were out of the competition already.

It’ll be a tough game. We have to make sure we take control from the start. They’ll try closing everyone down as quick as possible, like they did against United.

AND, that is usually the only way to beat us, unless we beat ourselves.
