We have a point to prove today, win the midfield, win the match.

by & filed under Uncategorized.

That’s the way I see it, we need to nullify the midfield threat of Essien and Ballack or Lumphard, if we stop them bullying us, we will win the game.

I read an interesting article on the life of Alex Song today and how he went to Paris aged eight and replaced Diaby in a French club called Red Star, he sadly lost his dad when he was young but it made him determined, Alex, I didn’t know that, that’s a shame, but the one thing I have always said is, that you were a trier.

Today we need you to boss the midfield, you need to shove your 6′ 1″ frame around the pitch and show them which team is going to win the league, this team of chavs is too old to beat us, today we show them what youth is all about. Start the game by giving Dogbreath a smack in the ribs, once you’ve done him, let potato head know who you are, let Cesc deal with the German. Do that and the midfield is ours.

With our pace and movement I expect us to tear them a new arsehole, I don’t want a patient build up, I want us at them from the off, no Djourou or Diaby today, so expect no own goals, today I expect a real message going out to the rest of the Premiership, today I expect nothing other than a resounding win, today we will find Jerusalem!

Ancelotti won fuck all at Milan, why would he win anything with the chavs? Those inbred players support every manager they have ever had, of course they do, that manager picks them, remember the days of Ranieri? They were going to strike if he got slung out, how many top, top paid twats have they supported since? 4, yes 4 top managers in as many years, what a bunch of slimy fucking hookers those players are.

Today we go forward with the same manager, the same team and the same crowd, because unlike the chavs, our fans have been around a lot longer than theirs, and our fans pre-date Abramovich.

Go on the Arsenal, show them who we are and who are the real pride of London, don’t sit back and wait for their onslaught, let them have ours.

Oh and Arsene, please go out and buy a world class striker or bring back Thierry, with the hand ball problem he has to carry, it may be time to bring him home, where he’s loved and where he feels safe, he knows he only has a couple of years left, that would suit us both.

Have a great day Grovers, today we show the world who the Arsenal are.

Morning all, what a shit night I’ve had, what a shit day I’m going to have, thanks Arsene.

This team are not good enough to win anything except perhaps a top 4 spot.

The chav game showed everyone that Song, Denilson and Almunia are just not good enough. Period.

Had Song and Denilson dominated midfield the balls would have made there way forward. Yes others had poor games but if we had better than those three, perhaps they wouldn’t have been so bad.

Almunia is just shit, the last decent keep Wenger had was Seaman, even Lehmann wasn’t world class, but Almunia is just shit.

We need to bring in a decent keeper, a centre back, a defensive midfielder or two and a world class striker.

Then we will be a good side, listening to Wenger is getting tiresome I’m afraid.

When takeover talk starts later, all remember that we are the Arsenal, and we do have style and standards, so the first person who thinks Usmanov should be the man, be warned.
I am in London on business on wednesday, and I will come round and smash your fucking head in, you ignorant bastard.

  3. SUGA3

    Geoff,

Denilson got outmuscled and outpaced in the midfield, really, when solid enough yesterday Song was replaced by Walcott – with him in the squad we just return to crab football: we did not have a shot on goal of any note…

Note to Mr Wenger: buy some MEN with balls in the winter…

    Geoff

Don’t forget Eduardo, his touch was poor all night. What happened to Song? it wasn’t until about the 80th minute that I realised he wasnt on the park :)

To put in terms that Stan the man would understand, it was a disaster for the Arsenal brand. So Mr $$$$$$ signs, fork out please before I finally tire of getting up @ 2.00-3.00am to watch that sort of crap. Its a slur on all supporters, & can only be changed by buying real seasoned players.

  5. iceman

Even if we just get a decent GK and a striker..that be ok for now.

First 20 mintues of the 2nd half we kept knocking their door…no one in the team who’s thinking..alright…f**k this I’m a let one rip…that’s who we need.

Had we a decent CF on board we would have got somthing from yesterday.

    Here’s to a shit day!!

    Thanks Wenger!!

  6. SUGA3

and oh, seeing Traore being overtaken by ‘slow & shit’ Ivanovic really did it for me yesterday…

‘morning all, where are my manners ;)

  7. MARK GOONER

    does it get any worse
eduardo, almunia, walcott, denilson and vela not good enough, nasri (jury still out)
pathetic showing from eduardo, too lightweight, no heart
season over in term of title

    Iceman

The team, on a whole are too small, against a team like chelski. & for that matter, how many players have chelski bought in the last 2-3 years, hardly any, they have kept hold of a good seasoned core group that know how to win “in the clinches”

  9. Geoff

It will always be the same, we get to the semi’s, play a half decent team, and get hammered, there was no difference between yesterday and the last time we played them.

Wenger needs to be told, buy some fucking players, this lot will not improve because 3 of them have no fucking talent, the only thing they do have, is long term contracts.

  10. MARK GOONER

to think eduardo have just signed new contract is a joke, injury has ruined him, just like injury ruins many players careers, rosicky has to start ahead of nasri

any fuck this whatever is said now was said millions of times by every gooner round the world, we all know it apart from the man that matters

  11. gnarleygeorge9

I know most people are still touchy about Cashley Cole, but that booing everytime he gets the ball isn’t intimidating for him. He assisted in an Arsenal player scoring a goal.

  12. SUGA3

Eduardo will come good, thing is he is not suited to the role Wenger wants him to play…

he is a fox in the box kind of player, but we didn’t get into their fucking box, did we?

  13. iceman

    Gnarley…

    I hear you mate.

He needs to get his act right.
We let go of Toure and got Vermaelen to replace. Fine.

Adebayor? No replacement. Appalling since we all knew RvP is injury prone and Vela isn’t quite the answer yet.

2 new players atleast in Jan for us to still salvage something this season.

    We’re still in 3 cups.

That’s the only positive for now.

  14. Geoff

I think the forwards are good enough, but only when they have a big fuck to play off.

Anyway I have a horse-pital appointment, I’ll ask them if they have something for pain, I hate this feeling, and it’s on Wenger, he didn’t believe we needed new players.

Catch you all later, but please don’t anyone tell me today that Song, Almunia or Denilson are good enough. Yesterday will tell you all you know about that.

  15. gnarleygeorge9

    Mark

You mean Stan :) Maybe a petition or something signed by gooners around the world should be sent to him saying something like, Please buy some players, starting with a world class goalie; over 195cm defenders that arelike robots & players who don’t fall over all the time when tackled.

  16. MARK GOONER

    denilson or essien
    almunia or cech
    eduardo or drogba

im actually starting to really dislike eduardo now, just as i dislike any other players that should be nowhere near our club,
for the sake of a few million wenger could have signed chamkah (a player he tried to sign)
SO WHY THE FUCK DIDNT YOU, every cunt knows rvp cannot be relied upon to stay fit and to put your faith in carlos carling cup vela has seriously backfired, he looks a mid table player at best, both him and dudu have the strength of an anorexic

  17. MARK GOONER

eduardo has been shit all season long, has yet to ever perform when matters, him, theo, almunia, denilson can fuck off

  18. SUGA3

second that Micky, I’ve got an email from the box office advertising Hull tickets on sale, never got any of these before…

  19. Odub

    Micky,

    Spot on mate.

The actual core support is about 10-15k. we were the ones that stood there in the effing rain to applaud off the players that could be arsed to stay behind and clap us for standing there getting soaked for 90 minutes watching dross. About 10K left with 15 minutes to go, and another 20K left when the 3rd goal went in!!

  20. Micky Did It 89

Odub. You said it. Mates and I used to bet first round of Guiness after game on attendance. Back in 80′s, get onto North Bank. Often the winning guesstimate was 17k. I am not saying we will go back to that. Football has changed, but 35k means a half empty stadium, and believe me, if we are not competing for trophies, that is what we will see.

  21. Chipo

I stayed til the end, but i dont blame the people who left. It was like watching a cat kill your pet mouse, very very slowly. I think the only reason i stayed was sheer stubbornness!

  22. gnarleygeorge9

I watched it till 3 minutes of injury time (on the comfy couch) then said to myself what the fuck do i think is going to happen in 1 minute so I hit the sack.

  23. Micky Did It 89

Right guys, I think I’ll get out of here while the girls squabble over top spot.
Might check in later. Its going to be a bad day in here.
