That’s the way I see it, we need to nullify the midfield threat of Essien and Ballack or Lumphard, if we stop them bullying us, we will win the game.
I read an interesting article on the life of Alex Song today and how he went to Paris aged eight and replaced Diaby in a French club called Red Star, he sadly lost his dad when he was young but it made him determined, Alex, I didn’t know that, that’s a shame, but the one thing I have always said is, that you were a trier.
Today we need you to boss the midfield, you need to shove your 6′ 1″ frame around the pitch and show them which team is going to win the league, this team of chavs is too old to beat us, today we show them what youth is all about. Start the game by giving Dogbreath a smack in the ribs, once you’ve done him, let potato head know who you are, let Cesc deal with the German. Do that and the midfield is ours.
With our pace and movement I expect us to tear them a new arsehole, I don’t want a patient build up, I want us at them from the off, no Djourou or Diaby today, so expect no own goals, today I expect a real message going out to the rest of the Premiership, today I expect nothing other than a resounding win, today we will find Jerusalem!
Ancelotti won fuck all at Milan, why would he win anything with the chavs? Those inbred players support every manager they have ever had, of course they do, that manager picks them, remember the days of Ranieri? They were going to strike if he got slung out, how many top, top paid twats have they supported since? 4, yes 4 top managers in as many years, what a bunch of slimy fucking hookers those players are.
Today we go forward with the same manager, the same team and the same crowd, because unlike the chavs, our fans have been around a lot longer than theirs, and our fans pre-date Abramovich.
Go on the Arsenal, show them who we are and who are the real pride of London, don’t sit back and wait for their onslaught, let them have ours.
Oh and Arsene, please go out and buy a world class striker or bring back Thierry, with the hand ball problem he has to carry, it may be time to bring him home, where he’s loved and where he feels safe, he knows he only has a couple of years left, that would suit us both.
Have a great day Grovers, today we show the world who the Arsenal are.

Le Grove is now smart phone compatible!

November 29, 2009 at 09:13
BIG DAY TODAY!!
November 29, 2009 at 09:15
Come on you mighty arsenal. For everyone going to the match, lets push the boys to the win tonight
November 29, 2009 at 09:16
Agree with all of that Geoff!! How good would it be to see Song put in a really fucking tasty challenge on Fat Frank!!!!
As for Thierry…..well, I have a chubby in my pants just thinking about it!!
November 29, 2009 at 09:16
Geoff,
You wished a draw yesterday, granted.
Victory shall be ours today!
November 29, 2009 at 09:17
The game will be won for us by our players on the 2 flanks [starting or substitutes] so they must perform but if they dont perform then it doesnt look good anyway Come On You Reds.
November 29, 2009 at 09:20
Geoff I prefer the reasoning of Lawrence of Arabia when told Aqaba could not be taken because of what it took to get there. Today, the chavs are our Aqaba. All the experts have written that we don’t stand a prayer (except the true believers like you
& other gooner blogs). But once again, to quote from that great desert pom. “Nothing is written”. Today we will take our Aqaba. Go Go Gunners
November 29, 2009 at 09:20
I’ve this feeling that we will beat those cunts 2-0.
November 29, 2009 at 09:23
November 29, 2009 at 09:24
Gnarley, I love it! Love it!
November 29, 2009 at 09:24
Haha! I loved the Bullard celebration… loved the Kolo fuck up even more!
Top rallying post Geoff… I think you’re warming to Song, and hopefully, you’re going to love him today!
I’m really fired up for this… I hope the home support are vocal!
Geoff, I’ll pop round later!
November 29, 2009 at 09:25
I was doubtful going into the Sunderland game, but I’m extremely confident going into this one. COME ON YOU GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 09:26
Fantastic post Geoff!!
November 29, 2009 at 09:26
Pedro, If Song becomes the player all the Song lovers love, I too will join the love in, I haven’t seen it yet, so I thought if I did a Song post, he would read it and get fired up!
November 29, 2009 at 09:27
Thanks Swed!
November 29, 2009 at 09:30
I think we’ll win 2 0. Watch this space. At home we are simply outstanding, no other way of putting it! Fabregas will add another 10 million to his price tag today.
November 29, 2009 at 09:31
I have a feeling today could be a record for comments, I think we will score a hatful as well. I’ll be back shortly.
November 29, 2009 at 09:31
Yes bring Thierry back in January, will do a swap for Eboue, sound perfect.
November 29, 2009 at 09:33
IMO the pace of Theo &/or AA23 running @ those big dopey chav backs might be too much to hold out for 90+ minutes. But I’m expecting Dogpoo & Anoyka to get on the score sheet.
November 29, 2009 at 09:37
Le Gaffer has got to spend in January now that RVP is knackered.
Geoff, Thanx for that, I know you love to draw spirit from great momnets that have come before.
November 29, 2009 at 09:38
JT to be sent off for persistent fouling of Eduardo penalty to us Fab4 scores the emirates goes crazy 1-0 win for us jobs a good’un!!
November 29, 2009 at 09:39
I too have started to get that feeling that we could surprise the footballing nation today!! And I don’t mean I think we might get a win, I mean I think we might tonk them 3 or 4 to squat!!
November 29, 2009 at 09:40
GG9 – What will the time be there when the game kicks off? I know I could just check myself but I’m too lazy for that!!
November 29, 2009 at 09:41
1-0 to the arsenal!
)
(thats what its going to be
November 29, 2009 at 09:52
To replace the wonder of you.
November 29, 2009 at 09:52
I’m going for a 3-2 win with an arshavin brace and a rosicky stunner from 30 yards.
You may not remember but the last time Rosicky played against the CHavs we won 1-0 and he was the best player on the night. I’m backing him for this one.
November 29, 2009 at 09:53
Taig
The game comes on Fox @ 2.40am, so I guess it will start @ 3.00am after a build up.
November 29, 2009 at 09:54

November 29, 2009 at 09:54
GG9 – I presume you’ll stay up to watch it??
November 29, 2009 at 09:55
It’s f*cKin’ pissing down, and thanks to BR and Tfl it looks as though I will have to get to the ground via Manchester or something. Arse, you owe me big time today.
November 29, 2009 at 09:58
Taig, I had the dreaded flu for a couple of daze & have got up out my sick bed to read the Le Grove Battle Cry. I’m not going to work tomorrow, so I will watch the game.
November 29, 2009 at 09:59
Pissing down? it sounds like you are having a Winter like we had, wet, wet & rain.
November 29, 2009 at 10:02
GG9 – Good man!! Yeah the weather here is truly horrific right now!!
JoeBaker – Arsenal Needs You!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 10:06
I’m only going to get excited if we win, because with Chelsea there is always a danger. I don’t feel we’ll get turned over and that we’ll hold our own, I hope we win by the odd goal. We need to just play our game, keep focused defensively and keep trying to grind out a goal, keep them busy by creating lots of chances.
1-0 would be super.
As for RVP’s injury, I smell a rat with all this disinformation being provided by the medical team.
November 29, 2009 at 10:10
3 goals to da gunners
November 29, 2009 at 10:20
today is da day…dat north london will go gay….come on gunners show dem who rules london

November 29, 2009 at 10:23
My heart says 2-1,mind says 1-1.
November 29, 2009 at 10:23
Taig, at least there is a Stella waiting at the end of the rainbow.
November 29, 2009 at 10:27
JoeBaker – That’s the spirit! (Don’t say Stella is beer!
)
November 29, 2009 at 10:37
Taig. Yep. It has the uncanny ability to numb the senses to any adversity. It also has a weird side effect of making it look like there are 44 players on the field.
November 29, 2009 at 10:42
This game’s gonnna be a real test alright, I’ve got good hopes for the midfield doing ok I think we need a ball retention 90 minute concentration job like against ManU at Old Trafford 2 years ago, still can’t get over how small we are though – some blogs are even talking about putting JET up front but I can’t see that maybe Watt or Sunnu (Watt apparently scored a “bullet header” the other day, which would be nice but I haven’t seen it).
Incidentally, no wonder it’s all going wrong with RvP, halfway down this link, he’s apparently being treated by Nick van Dyke:
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/29112009/58/premier-league-fury-van-persie-misdiagnosis.html
November 29, 2009 at 10:43
Geoff, loving the post. Listening to the opinions of the journos on Sunday Supplement, is Martin Lipton a foe or friend?
gnarley, I’ve had this bloody virus for over 4 weeks, can’t shift it, cough starts when ‘flu’ symptons ease; and then there’s the ‘wonderful’ glue stuff you cough up (in grey colour) BUT, I shall go to the Emirates and wrap up in bin liners to avoid getting drenched by the rain sitting so close to the ground.
November 29, 2009 at 10:49
Battle cry
This is the day
No excuses in billy verm sag song cesc TR7 arsh nas eddy we have a team that should hurt the chavs
We are at home FFS. I’m so fired up
Pedro geoff peaches G8 etc where are the pre match festivities taking place????
November 29, 2009 at 10:50
Anyone else think there is a real chance of eBay taking that left back slot as Geoff predicted yesterday? I wouldn’t complain to be honest.
November 29, 2009 at 10:52
I’ve often criticised this blog for various reasons. But this is a top post. Exactly my thoughts and thanks so much for publishing. More of the same, lads
.
COME ON YOU RED AND WHITES
November 29, 2009 at 11:06
I am so glad we all have swine flu and can’t go to …..’s house today. Bring it on.
November 29, 2009 at 11:07
Eboue SHOULD play right back. That’s it. Nowhere else.
November 29, 2009 at 11:10
Agree with post about midfield battle. Whoever plays either side of Song must earn their wages today.
As for the front three, stop worrying about your hair, dont fucking get injured, get at them from the off, and show the Chavs who is the daddy!
November 29, 2009 at 11:12
Is Gallas fit? I mean to play not is he good looking
November 29, 2009 at 11:26
Great article.
Eboue to start, Traore is not Arsenal class.
November 29, 2009 at 11:30
I just think experience in an Arsenal shirt makes sense today, and I don’t mean Silvestre experience, I think Gallas will play, but I’d still be okay with Silvestre.
November 29, 2009 at 11:39
This is the game of the season, if we lose this one im afraid it will be al but over. Hope the boys are up for this one cause i cant stand losing to these bustards.
November 29, 2009 at 11:41
Heart says 1 result, head says another, very difficult today.
We must buy a striker in Jan
And if Terry gets kicked in the head this time, leave him to die
November 29, 2009 at 11:48
4-1 to The Arsenal today.
COME ON GUNNERS!!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 12:04
Why all d skepticism. We are more or less having d same points with manu, considering we win our outstandin! And nobody is saying manu is out of d race, so even if we loose, which wont happen, i’m sick of seeing this as d title decider. Chavs beat manu n d united fans didnt say d race was done, we are gunners and shouldnt feel inferior. I luv dis club!!
November 29, 2009 at 12:12
Just had a punt on big Tommy V to score first at 25/1!! Come on the Verminator!!
November 29, 2009 at 12:15
Maybe Vermaelen should swap with Song for this game?
November 29, 2009 at 12:16
Geoff – The further TV is up the field the better!!
November 29, 2009 at 12:17
with the loss of RVP we have got to go and sign a CF who is the finished article.
Personally I think Villa would be ideal and available for around 20-25 million as Valencia are flat broke id use Bendtner as px as well.
November 29, 2009 at 12:21
Geoff is it the S+B or the Che??
November 29, 2009 at 12:26
Hi Franchise, I’m not going today but I think Gunner8 is going for a meal first, I haven’t heard from Peaches and I think Dennis goes to the Che, I’m sure Chary and Nick are going to the S+B though.
November 29, 2009 at 12:49
Last week I wrote a piece on redoing our deal with the Emirates as the country was sliding down the shitter, a few know-it-alls told me that Emirates airlines had nothing to do with Dubai as it was a private company.
Well you muppets, it’s part owned by Investment Corporation of Dubai and that like everything else in that country, is owned by the government.
So back to my original question Ivan, is there now a little waggle room in that deal, you know, dragging our name through the mud, the threat of insolvency etc?
Maybe we could give them £25mil back, I reckon they would bite your hand off Ivan, then go and do a deal with someone else for real money, that would cover the stadium and the shirts, that’s what I would do, but then I am a businessman and you aren’t are you mate???
November 29, 2009 at 12:53
I maybe one of those accused Geoff although all I said was that I thought that the company was run pretty soundly. It could be in dire straights for all I know and as I said at the time, I agree with you that if anything can be done its time to be ruthless!!
November 29, 2009 at 13:04
Tony some pencil dick just came on and called me a wat, do you think the prick left a T off? Ha, ha, if you are going to have a pop at someone, at least get it right, what a cunt!
November 29, 2009 at 13:07
Afternoon. Fuck me this rain is putting me off going for a few swallies befor ethe game at Che’s!
We can do these wankers today, but we will need every player on their game and maybe a slice of luck.
November 29, 2009 at 13:16
Afternoon all
Arsene must be thrilled about all this rain – we know how he loves a zippy surface, I bet the sprinklers won’t be on today.
I have to be at the Olde Triangle to facilitate a ticket exchange. I don’t think Chary is going to this game.
Geoff I hope you have a nice quiet afternoon watching on the telly
November 29, 2009 at 13:19
Just our of interest, where do Le Grove go for a beer before. Be good to meet some of the regular posters for a chin-wag…
November 29, 2009 at 13:24
Anyone!?
November 29, 2009 at 13:24
TAIG: good punt on Verm. I always used to pop into the bookies opposite Finsbury Park tube on the way down and lay a quid on Tony Adams. Was always around 30-1 along with Spider.
November 29, 2009 at 13:28
raynor – usually a few meet up in Blackstock Road near the Arsenal Tavern but it seems that might not happen today…….
November 29, 2009 at 13:30
Thanks Peaches. I’ll check in at the next game. I pretty much to go all the home games alone as most of my mates are Chavski! It’d be good to maybe meet at the Le Grove haunt and put a few faces to blog names!
Thanks though…
November 29, 2009 at 13:31
While I’m twiddling me fingers waiting for kick off, another betting tale. Had placed quid on a 4-1 (5-1 cant remember) at home to Norwich. We were leading by 4-0 when up popped Norwich to score. There I was leaping up and down on the old north bank, screaming like a banshee. Got a few mighty strange looks!
November 29, 2009 at 13:33
Raynor: the Che is great. Armoury sq.. Under bridge. Turn left. You’ll see gooners down road on left outside.
November 29, 2009 at 13:35
Did anyone see that then Mascherano got tackled and Gerrard dived how funny is that!
November 29, 2009 at 13:35
Its a scrum, so buy a brace!!
November 29, 2009 at 13:36
Hi Micky
Yeah I’ve been there beofre on rare occasion that someone I knew had gone to game (last season mainly). Its got pretty nice barmaids I seem to remember!
November 29, 2009 at 13:37
Nah he didnt really just messing!!
November 29, 2009 at 13:43
Bindippers 1 up!
November 29, 2009 at 13:52
Geoff did we really get all the monry up gtont from Emirates?
November 29, 2009 at 13:53
*front (sorry)
November 29, 2009 at 13:54
We did
November 29, 2009 at 14:04
I always thought it was spread over the 15 years – per Wikipedia?
November 29, 2009 at 14:14
From Chairman’s statement – 2005 Accounts:-
Cash reserves also benefit from the first
instalment of funds from the sponsorship
transaction we concluded with Emirates last
autumn. This partnership gives Emirates
exclusive rights as the naming sponsor of our
new stadium to 2021 and includes an eight
year shirt sponsorship which commences at
the end of the Club’s current shirt sponsorship
deal with O2 at the end of the 2005/06
season. The Emirates sponsorship fees of
£90 million will significantly enhance the
Group’s commercial revenues over the
contract term
November 29, 2009 at 14:19
Ooooohhhh….. uuuuurrrrrggghhh….. its a long wait today!!
I’ve got swine flu. My children have swine flu. So we better fucking win.
Who is playing central up top?
November 29, 2009 at 14:21
Read the papers. Lit the fires. Had soup. Had more pills. Got absolutely no interest in anything whatsoever other than the game.
November 29, 2009 at 14:23
And here I am talking to myself
November 29, 2009 at 14:24
Drogba seems to be given it the biggun might be a tad bit worried methinks!!
November 29, 2009 at 14:25
If Song seems a little nervous before the game, I hope Cesc and AA give him this kind of talk to fire him up:
November 29, 2009 at 14:27
Regarding Drogba. I reckon the boss will have had a quiet word in the Verm Ear!!!
November 29, 2009 at 14:27
Geoff, so we dont have to buy Emirares off. If they want out they should buy us out.
November 29, 2009 at 14:34
i’m feeling nervous ahead of the chelsea game!
my heart and head are saying that Chelsea are gonna win – but i hope i’m wrong. Come on Arsenal!
November 29, 2009 at 14:34
What a shitty day as well :/
November 29, 2009 at 14:37
I’ve never seen le-grove this quiet. Ever. I think everyone is nervous about today or getting off their faces before the game.

Struck by such a plethora of injuries, it seems pretty plain that Arsenal will have to buy a striker when the transfer market opens in January.
What appalling luck they have had with their attackers!
In February of 2008 there was the horrific case of Eduardo, his leg smashed by a dreadful tackle at Birmingham.
He, thank goodness, is playing again and playing well. Now in horribly quick succession the Gunners have lost their two tall young internationals, Nicklas Bendtner of Denmark and worst of all, Robin Van Persie, severely hurt playing in a mere friendly for Holland against Italy.
Certainly Arsenal can call on the elegant Mexico international Carlos Vela, whom they parked in Spain for some time. Like Eduardo, for all his undoubted skills, Vela lacks physical threat. And all this just at the moment when the Gunners’ bright attack, criticised for making but not taking so many chances, seemed really to have got into gear.
It may be some kind of consolation for manager Arsene Wenger that one of his brightest teenagers, Aaron Ramsey, recently dominated Wales’ 3-0 humiliation of Scotland at Cardiff City Stadium. John Toshack, his manager with Wales, praised the gifted and incisive midfielder who, under Arsenal’s aegis has gained a great deal in strength. But to me, he has seemed a star ever since Cardiff City brought him on, far too late, in the second half of that FA Cup Final at Wembley, against Portsmouth, when he was a revelation.
Utterly nerveless, never in a hurry, always shrewd in his use of the ball, quite ready to take on and go past older, more experienced defenders. The question then was, where would he move? Manchester United wanted him, so did Arsenal. The question also was, how much playing time would he get if he moved to either Titan? United seemed ready to let him stay on loan at Cardiff but it was to Arsenal he went and alas opportunities till now have been all too rare.
British youngsters, the dissident and greedy (£55,000-a-week is an insult) Ashley Cole being an exception, find it very hard to break through at the North London club. Indeed, one fervently hopes that a still more precocious figure, actually a 17-year-old Englishman in Jack Wilshere, will not be allowed to wither on the vine. Marvellously precocious on either wing or even through the middle, this is a very rare, exciting talent at a time when, alas, it hardly grows on English trees. When will there ever be another Paul Gascoigne?

I don’t KM, should I? I think we can beat them but I think it’ll be a draw. I hope I am wrong and we win.
November 29, 2009 at 14:41
we lost rvp and bendtner and suddenly we dont have a reliable striker, with eduardo is not yet back in scoring form. i dont see walcott as a striker as he plays better as a winger that cuts inside to score. maybe wenger should have a look at Oscar Cardozo. im still wondering why he’s still there playing at benfica.
November 29, 2009 at 14:42
i would vote for Iniesta – the guy was awesome last season. i think this list is for the 2008-2009 season.
messi will probably get it though. WTF is Kaka there for? he didnt do shit last year. Arshavin should be there instead of him.
November 29, 2009 at 14:44
Finest
i just keep thinking that our defence is gonna fukk up and let Drogba in. either that or our midfield is gonna get raped
u can see how positive i am!
no but we need to keep the ball all the time and match Chelsea’s intensity imo
November 29, 2009 at 14:45
I don’t understand how Everton are still 1-0 down. They should have been 3 or 4-1 up by now. Luck is with the pools at the moment.
November 29, 2009 at 14:46
wat time does the game starts??
November 29, 2009 at 14:46
these awards are confusing because they come at the wrong time and i think they should come immediately after the season has ended. And there should be a seperate award for the worlds best player for the World Cup Tournament/Euro’s.
November 29, 2009 at 14:47
4pm i think???
GTS
Everton are having bad luck this year. is it true that they’v only won 1 out their last 10 games this season?
November 29, 2009 at 14:48
KM, if your heart tells you Chelsea are gonna win, you should be a chav….
Comon you Gooooonnnnnnnnneeeeeeeerssssssssss!!!!!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 14:49
imo think Fabregas, Drogba have been the stand out best players in the Premiership this year. Any others?
November 29, 2009 at 14:50
Rohan
sorry mate – its just the way i feel. as i said i hope i’m wrong.
November 29, 2009 at 14:50
Yes KM, they seem to be having a nightmare season so far. They have been playing the pools of the park today. Pools can’t attack, defend and hold the ball but they are still riding their luck today, even the goal they scored was a deflected shot off the Everton defender.
November 29, 2009 at 14:50
it is quiet today, geoffs prediction about record comments must have put the hoodoo on it!
Well im nervous today, just hope gallas is fit, come on you gooners lets have an early christmas present!
November 29, 2009 at 14:52
tanx KM but can u give me a clear indication of in how many hours till kick off?? if i’m not mistaken from where i am it’s +8 GMT..so it’ll be 12 midnight, correct me if i’m wrong..
November 29, 2009 at 14:52
Game starts 4PM UK time.
November 29, 2009 at 14:53
KM, it’s about believe not hope. If you don’t believe, you can’t win.
4-1 to the Arsenal today….
November 29, 2009 at 14:54
Wellington Silva (Next Kaka) opened the scoring and then converted a penalty as Fluminense beat Botafogo to claim the national Brazilian youth league at the weekend. The young striker is believed to be extremely close to wrapping up his protracted transfer to Arsenal.
The Brazilian Under 17 international opened the scoring in the 16th minute when he raced onto Matheus Carvalho’s pass, hurdled a last-ditch challenge and smashed the ball into the roof of the net. Silva had another two chances to add to his tally but Botafogo stood firm and grabbed an equalizer.
It went to penalties and after Wellington Silva, Matheus Carvalho, Marcos Junio and the other Wellington converted, a slick save granted Fluminense the Brazilian youth league crown.
Confirmation is expected shortly of Silva’s transfer to Arsenal with Flu apparently being forced into selling the prospect after financial trouble meant players and wages were not paid.

Izham, the kick-off is after an hour & 6 mins.

The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) has hit back at Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger’s criticism of their handling of Robin van Persie’s ankle injury.
A KNVB statement said: “Directly after Van Persie was injured, the doctor of the Netherlands team diagnosed an ankle ligament problem.
“The Arsenal striker went to the hospital in Amsterdam on Sunday (after the game which took place on a Saturday) where further examination (MRI scan) confirmed the diagnosis of the Netherlands team – he had a ruptured ligament of his right ankle.
“The medical staff of the KNVB contacted Arsenal club doctor Gary O’Driscoll the same Sunday to inform him about the outcome of the investigation and to transfer the medical record regarding this injury.
“The scan was also handed over to the medical staff of Arsenal.”
November 29, 2009 at 15:17
l’pool don’t deserve to win at all, lady luck for the win..
crucial battle later on = verm vs drogba! go reds!!
November 29, 2009 at 15:17
The Dutch Fa are just trying to pass the buck, they are saying Arsenal could have looked at their scan themselves. That is not the point, the point is, he should have come back to London and had a medical done at Arsenal instead of being sent off to Serbia to be seen by a quack.
November 29, 2009 at 15:19
we need to forget about rvp, hes out hes always injured, we should get a replacement, a top striker and off load robin as he just cant stay fit
November 29, 2009 at 15:21
Is gallas playing???
November 29, 2009 at 15:24
lineups anyone?
November 29, 2009 at 15:24
Ancelotti:
“They had control of that game with possession of the ball, they had Cesc Fabregas, Mathieu Flamini and Alexander Hleb, and they did a fantastic job.
“I am happy because Flamini is not here and also nor is Hleb, but they have fantastic midfielders.
“But I won’t want to change our system, we will maintain our system and our play and we will do our best to make Chelsea win the game.”

Yep it is
November 29, 2009 at 15:28
sure???
November 29, 2009 at 15:28
That team can win. I’m a little worried about Cesc and Denilson getting bullied in the middle, but we have the firepower to open them up
November 29, 2009 at 15:30
why no rosicky? surely hes experience would be vital today??
Whats going on at chelsea as well, are they all on steroids or something, i thought drogba had a broken rib and lampard had a torn thigh?
November 29, 2009 at 15:30
I don’t see any line-up on newsnow or something.
November 29, 2009 at 15:31
incesc that’s a typical ploy to make us all a little negative just before the game when they announce that their players are fit
November 29, 2009 at 15:31
Our bank is F**cking good!!
November 29, 2009 at 15:31

Arsenal team in full: Almunia, Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Traore, Song, Denilson, Fabregas, Nasri, Arshavin, Eduardo.
SUBS: Fabianski, Silvestre, Eboue, Ramsey, Rosicky, Walcott, Vela
November 29, 2009 at 15:33
Arshavin better be up for it. I don’t wanna see him moping about the pitch today
November 29, 2009 at 15:36
Traore at LB?? FUCK. Why not SIlvestre? He is miles better at defending.
Most of Chelsea attacks will be coming from Traore’s side, methinks.
Rosicky, Theo, and Vela could come on if needed. I thought Wenger would start Theo, guess not
November 29, 2009 at 15:40
Everytime theo starts and scores we lose, its good he’s on the bench!
November 29, 2009 at 15:40
Hahaha fuck you Cashley

November 29, 2009 at 15:46
Stand by if I need help with a stream, guys
November 29, 2009 at 15:47
I’m very happy with the team. Traore with his pace could cause Ivanovic and Ballack to an extent problems. I do think he is a tad underrated on here.
I support Wenger choosing Nasri over Rosicky too. I think that in a big game, Nasri is more likely to make that decisive move albeit I would like to see Rosicky come on if things arent going well.
November 29, 2009 at 15:47
Come on you fucking Gooners!!!!

CUM on Arsenal!!!
haha….sorry
November 29, 2009 at 15:48
I don’t think Traore is necessarily underrated. It’s just that he is very inexperienced, which isn’t ideal against Chelski
November 29, 2009 at 15:48
I’m on the job Mickey… if you have sopcast use this site..

November 29, 2009 at 15:48
Chelsea lineup isn’t the same as someone posted above:
cech
Ivanovic Carvalho Terry Cole
Essien Lampard Mikel Cole
Anelka Drogba
Mikel is a dirty fucker.
November 29, 2009 at 15:49
Frankly, I’d rather have him than Silvestre just for his recovery pace. Anelka likes cutting in from the right.
November 29, 2009 at 15:50

November 29, 2009 at 15:56
They’ve got a bloody strong team and squad. If we beat them we’ve got to be taken serious.
November 29, 2009 at 15:57
Paul88 – Lets hope the ref doesn’t fall for Dogbar’s diving!!
November 29, 2009 at 15:58
History. Class. Tradition.
Pride Of London.
Great banner whoever did that! The complete opposite to those chav cunts!
November 29, 2009 at 15:58
Chelsea have come to play defensive cue Essien and Mikel. They will tighten the mid and get us on the counter. It shows they fear us at home but we really need to watch our full backs and we need to stretch them via wing play. I think it looks good for us today
November 29, 2009 at 16:01
away to west ham in the fa cup.
November 29, 2009 at 16:02
I heard the commentators mentioning that recently they have heard words from Arsene they didnt know was in his vocabulary,,,what exactly did he say…
DId Wenger say fuck in the press conference?(pertaining to Walcott etc?)
November 29, 2009 at 16:03
Ja – Yes.
November 29, 2009 at 16:04
cummin guys lets bury them
November 29, 2009 at 16:04
Look up for it
November 29, 2009 at 16:05
Fucking chav bastards. A few weeks ago they had Cole, Terry, Lampard and Drogba either doubful or sure to miss this match, but suprise suprise they all start.
November 29, 2009 at 16:07
Look at the difference. Eduardo and Essien both fly into a tackle. Nothing happens Essien but he screams in pain while Eduardo just has a grimace on his face.
November 29, 2009 at 16:08
COME ON LADS!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:08
Andy Gray is such a CUNT!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:08

November 29, 2009 at 16:10
Well done Traore, solid start for him so far….
November 29, 2009 at 16:11
we’re looking good.
November 29, 2009 at 16:12
dirty cunts
November 29, 2009 at 16:12
Chelsea are wondering if they can keep up with our pace of passing. Fact.
November 29, 2009 at 16:13
we need to make the most of our dominance.
November 29, 2009 at 16:13
Eduardo man!! Where is your control today??
November 29, 2009 at 16:14
Jesus!
November 29, 2009 at 16:14
Its a shame we dont have any really pacey players because Carvalho loves to come out of defence with the ball and we might not be able to exploit it.
Song doing his best to make people shit themselves.
November 29, 2009 at 16:14
Stu –
November 29, 2009 at 16:16
denise lewis (drogbreath) has one of those faces you just wanna smack.
November 29, 2009 at 16:17
totally outplaying them gotta make it count though
November 29, 2009 at 16:18
we knew this would happen, have to make advantage of this.
November 29, 2009 at 16:18
We are easily the best team in the world at passing the ball and keeping it just outside the opposition box without ever getting into it.
November 29, 2009 at 16:19
fuck me.
November 29, 2009 at 16:19
SHIT! 1 fucking ball forward and we look like conceding.
November 29, 2009 at 16:19
Again. Gray is a cunt.
November 29, 2009 at 16:20
anelka dives again
November 29, 2009 at 16:20

November 29, 2009 at 16:21

November 29, 2009 at 16:25

November 29, 2009 at 16:26

November 29, 2009 at 16:26
25 minutes gone! I feel like I’ve been watching this game for hours!!
Sub Traore off. He’ll get another card by the 90!
November 29, 2009 at 16:27
Terry being marked by Denilson. Thats just looking for trouble.
November 29, 2009 at 16:27
we need a goal asap or we could be in danger
November 29, 2009 at 16:28
how we doing guys?? my stream sux big time
November 29, 2009 at 16:28
Too much again!! And to me Eduardo looks off the pace!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:29
eddy has to release quicker
November 29, 2009 at 16:29
Izham, we are keeping the ball fairly well but doing nothing with it. Chelsea are having fewer but better chances and look more likely to score.
November 29, 2009 at 16:30
all the streams are fucked, keep stopping and starting all the time
November 29, 2009 at 16:30
No off side and that’s a foul!! FUCK OFF ANDY GRAY YOU FUCKING CUNT!!!! HOW CAN THEY LET SOMEONE SO BIASED COMMENTATE!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:30
any good links stu??
we need to dominate the midfield..if we’re able to and creating chances then we’re gonna win..
November 29, 2009 at 16:31
It seems we are running out of ideas already….why dont we just get the fucking ball into the box…
Thats what other teams do when nothing else works….just get the ball in there and you might get a lucky break..
Thats why we get no luck..because we dont try…
November 29, 2009 at 16:32
Why are we intentionally playing it in the air! We’ll undo them on the floor, not in the air!
November 29, 2009 at 16:32
Give Iraqgoals a try izham. Im watching on tv.
November 29, 2009 at 16:32
song is having a super game,i m afraid geoff u have to agree this time
November 29, 2009 at 16:32
Rosicky should have started.
Hopefully he and Walcott will come on before its too late.
November 29, 2009 at 16:33
What the fuck is going on…
We are letting frustration get to us already….
November 29, 2009 at 16:33

Andy Gray like us when we arent winning.
November 29, 2009 at 16:34
i hope this isn’t the best we’ve got to offer today.
November 29, 2009 at 16:35
Ooby – that one comment about cole not getting booked is the only thing he’s given us. Even when we had 69% possession he basically said we’d fuck it.
November 29, 2009 at 16:35
This ref is a fucking numpty!
November 29, 2009 at 16:35
fucking ref. Aren’t we at home?
November 29, 2009 at 16:35

November 29, 2009 at 16:35
Foul for what?
What the fuck?
Fucking cheating ref…
November 29, 2009 at 16:36
Its a disgrace that Sagna is our attacking outlet on the whole right hand side.
November 29, 2009 at 16:36
Any working links?
November 29, 2009 at 16:36
Joe cole gets a pat on the back for pulling down nasri, Traore gets a yellow for barely touching ivanovic.
November 29, 2009 at 16:36
Nearly took Nasri’s leg off!
November 29, 2009 at 16:37
I think Walcott could really offer us something today!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:37
Denilson is doing ok, but every now and then his pass is off, he needs to switch on n stop smilin so much lol
November 29, 2009 at 16:37

November 29, 2009 at 16:41

November 29, 2009 at 16:44
possession means nothing. We never ever learn.
November 29, 2009 at 16:44
We dont close down as a unit!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:44
GAllas and TV ball watching instead of man marking!! These players are so thick. In other industries you make the same mistake many times you get fired, but football is different!
November 29, 2009 at 16:44
I don’t know where our outlet is going to come from, Eduardo looks really really rusty out there, as does Denilson.
November 29, 2009 at 16:44
I’d have Walcott out left, put Nasri inside, take Denilson off and sub Eduardo off for Vela.
November 29, 2009 at 16:45
Sorry I mean walcott out right
November 29, 2009 at 16:45
FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now our lack of back bone is apparent!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:47

November 29, 2009 at 16:48
I love the way the Chelsea boys defend. They put everything in!
November 29, 2009 at 16:48
first half stoppage time before we put pressure on their defence.
November 29, 2009 at 16:48
typical
November 29, 2009 at 16:48
That’s what power gets you… absolutely gutted, but not surprised.
November 29, 2009 at 16:49
Eduardo is not good enough for us in a 4-3-3
November 29, 2009 at 16:49
oh well theres always 2010-2011.
shame wenger thought it best to sell our main striker and not replace him or build on what was a pretty crap team last year.
November 29, 2009 at 16:49
why dont our full backs stop the crosses coming in? What do they practice in training. Some of our players lack the fundamentals.
November 29, 2009 at 16:49
Why can’t that spanish waiter communicate with his defenders?
November 29, 2009 at 16:49
Get Rosicky and Theo on ffs!
Worst thing about this score is that Cuntley has 2 assists. Who the fuck was supposed to be marking him!
November 29, 2009 at 16:49
No bite. No cutting edge. No fucking intelligence. We’re still hitting aerial balls into the Chelsea box for Eduardo or Arshavin to try and out jump Terry and Carvalho.
I wonder what Arsene’s excuse will be.
November 29, 2009 at 16:49
We dont need a striker. We have Eduardo.
November 29, 2009 at 16:50
How many chavs have grown with the team ivan you wenger puppet
November 29, 2009 at 16:50
i cant watch more of that…..attack is weak, Eduardo needs to go off.
November 29, 2009 at 16:50
Hopefully THIS ends Wenger’s plan of cheating his way towards success with the current crop of mediocre LOSERS he got on the cheap (not because no one else saw them but because they are crap).
Pathetic yet again…
“our time is now!” Ha ha ha… right.
And if anyone actually buys into the spin deserves to pay 80 quid to watch this shambles of a team.
I am off… need about six more beers and apparently a new hobby.
Gus.
November 29, 2009 at 16:50
cheshit have been clinical at front ..and scoring with only 2 chances they created whole half…
and we are just not able to find the final ball to score…
Common arsenal…just improve in the final ball…common
November 29, 2009 at 16:50
there you go, same bullshit powderpuff shit…
no directness, our supposed main goal threat should have never started…
November 29, 2009 at 16:50
I miss RVP. Eduardo is just not dynamic enough it’s a shame. We will probably loose 5-0 as we will as ever go gung ho in the second half.
November 29, 2009 at 16:50
we got no power… thats all no power
they have anelka,drogba,essien,mikel,terry
we have nothing
November 29, 2009 at 16:50
We dont need a striker. We have Arshavin.
November 29, 2009 at 16:50
i hope its not a mauling, but this team usually falls apart
November 29, 2009 at 16:50
So maybe should ask Wenger and the Arsenal board if they really, really think we are good enough.
Two players short I said, two players short, and here we are losing again.
How long do we have to put up we knowing we can’t compete?
November 29, 2009 at 16:51
its gonna be 3 defeats in a row for us now, sunderland, chelsea and our kids will almost certainly get beaten in midweek..lets ‘build’ this team then wenger not buy anyone good. same old arsenal, well..of the last 5-6 years or so anyway..
November 29, 2009 at 16:51
We dont need a striker we have Vela.
November 29, 2009 at 16:51
they are raping us at our ground, this the most straight forward so called big four match this season
November 29, 2009 at 16:51
Totally agree with the Ivan comment.
Chelsea might have an older team, but they’re all quality players who know how to win. When they’re done with them… they’ll buy some new powerful winners.
Gutted…
Still, we’ve always got the second half.
November 29, 2009 at 16:52
We dont need a striker we have Rosicky.
November 29, 2009 at 16:52
I almost dont even want to watch the second half.
November 29, 2009 at 16:53
The big question is, where the fuck was ALmunia standing for that OG?
There were 2 Arsenal CBs and a Chelsea ST there and he comes out and causes confusion.
Fuck off Almunia, break a leg.
November 29, 2009 at 16:53
Guys
we need powerful players we got little technical players and thats not good enough maybe in the champions league but not in the premiership
even song got dealt with by drogba
November 29, 2009 at 16:53
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve said but THEO SHOULD HAVE BEEN PLAYING UP FRONT FOR WELL OVER YEAR NOW!!!!! I’d like to see Terry or Carvalho out run him!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:53
well im holding judgement until 90 minutes. but at this rate he may as well stick TV up front and put in MS at CB
November 29, 2009 at 16:53
i know how you feel stu
my sister supports chelsea, i left the room after the second goal.
3 – 2 anyone??
November 29, 2009 at 16:54
Eduardo has been fucking awful. Every touch he miscontrols. He’s no good anymore.
We really miss RVP
November 29, 2009 at 16:54
how did we concede the second goal??
November 29, 2009 at 16:54
Pat – 100% correct!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:54
fucking shit. disgraceful. we’re fucked I’m afraid.
November 29, 2009 at 16:54
WE NEED KANU!!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:54
We won’t buy. It will kill the youngsters coming through.
All this board are about is making a nice profit every year.
Wenger does not deserve his wages this year.
November 29, 2009 at 16:55
“In England people think that the Solution is always to buy”
November 29, 2009 at 16:55
Eduardo and Arshavin have been poor up front, while Drogba and Anelka have looked dangerous coming forward.
Midfield has been pretty even, maybe advantage Gunners.
November 29, 2009 at 16:55
2 such basic errors!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:55
GAME OVER!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:56
You know the most annoying thing about is That monkey cunt Keys salivating over dogshite and the chavs!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:56
its ok bendter will be back soon…
November 29, 2009 at 16:56
Is Kanu on the bench?
November 29, 2009 at 16:56
I hope Eduardo won’t start the second half…
but he will, won’t he?
November 29, 2009 at 16:56
anyone got a sopcast link?
November 29, 2009 at 16:56
we were weak on left, but both goals came from right,so really no excuse of injuries.
November 29, 2009 at 16:56
After watching that 2nd goal again its oh so obvious that Almunia and his fucking woeful communication and complete inability to command his area that has cost us this game!! Yes the cross shouldn’t have come in but it could still have cut out by a half decent keeper!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
C’Mon Arsenal.
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
For once i would like to watch an Arsenal match against a top team where we didnt make stupid mistakes that cost us the match. When was the last time we convincingly beat a rival by a big scoreline? Too long ago to remember.
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
Eduardo is off form at the moment.. we really need him to start showing some good first touch
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
We’ve been ‘two players short’ for the last 5 years. Are you watching Mr Gazidis? You cant buy success my arse.
We were always going to lose today. No height, no power no pace.
Wenger = deluded. Gazidis is useless and needs to go.
I’ve said it before either Wenger is forced to buy players or we need to appoint a director of football. This shite cant go on every year.
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
Redknapp has just hit the nail on the head!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
Rosicky for Denilson. Nasri into CM, and Theo for Eduardo. FFS, anyone is better than Eduardo atm. He looks like a pub player
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
premier league dream over??
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
69850
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
Oh please lets not overate chelsea hear. This is smash and grab. But they have so much god dam power. I massively disapointed with eduardo, big time. Put theo on and maybe rosicky, but then we will be mauled on the counter attack.
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
wow,we got whu away in fa cup
November 29, 2009 at 16:57
need a quick goal
November 29, 2009 at 16:58
This is the type of game where we get tested to the max. Although Chelsea are 2-0 up, all they’ve had is a superb through ball by A.Cole and a gifted goal. I wouldn’t blame them if they parked the bus now.
November 29, 2009 at 16:58
All coco needed to do was shout leave it!!!
November 29, 2009 at 16:58
Jamie Smallknob yet again talking complete bollocks. Vermaelen only scored the og because Drogshit and Anelka made him uncomfortable. What is he fucking on at all.
November 29, 2009 at 16:58
Almunia was at fault for the 2nd goal. The team look deflated after that, ball watching, not switched on, int. break is no excuse, have to switch on at this level.
Another sick moment for Wenger, what can he say to this team now.
November 29, 2009 at 16:58
u know what, chelsea will win the league they just too powerful and especially there jan suspension lifted
November 29, 2009 at 16:59
I’d even have nicky b in there. But as usual injuries disrupt our season. The only way to win the league now is to beat almost all the lower teams.
November 29, 2009 at 16:59
Hear hear Kevin, not totally convinced by Chelsea’s quality in the first half, smash and grab business.
November 29, 2009 at 16:59
Arshavin for me has been disgraceful. Shyte. At least Ade would score for us. Talk about being lazy.
November 29, 2009 at 17:00
arshavin should take a holday. he’s been shit lately. he’s having 2nd season syndrome. Bring Rosicky on now. he won’t change it til it’s way to late though.
November 29, 2009 at 17:00
Common arsenal..we have nothing to lose now…just e clinical at front…sport is such a thing..anything can happen
November 29, 2009 at 17:00
walcott for denilson
vela for eduardo
put nasri next to fab, walcott on the wing and vela in place of eduardo.
November 29, 2009 at 17:00
to be honest guys
we miss adebayor in a game like this
November 29, 2009 at 17:00
Does anyone actually think that Wenger includes defending in his training session!! I mean come on, how many clean sheets have we had this season? How many basic errors have cost us goals?? As much as anyone hates it, good defending is what wins you games!! Chelsea are testament to that. Cunts.
November 29, 2009 at 17:00
Dream was over rohan when AW did not buy the two players every one was clamouring for!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:01
We need to totally rebuild.
November 29, 2009 at 17:01
CMON ARSENALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:01
David, it’s difficult to knock the forward boys… the service has been fucking awful
What do we expect when we have Song and Denilson in there?
November 29, 2009 at 17:01
we need to buy a striker otherwise we may struggle for 4th at this rate. we cant win any away games and cant beat the big teams.
November 29, 2009 at 17:01
well its gotta be the king of all comebacks….
November 29, 2009 at 17:02
For all our attacking prowess, I’m sick of seeing us bring the ball to a dead stop in the attacking third.
It just gives slow Chelsea the time to settle in and defend.
November 29, 2009 at 17:02
Paul, we need to go for a lucky spin here, get Denilson and Arshavin off, Walcott and Vela on and lets attack.
November 29, 2009 at 17:03
The spuds will still be third?
November 29, 2009 at 17:03
Cześć Finest! It’s the same chelsea yet again. They just score. 2 chances, 2 goals.
November 29, 2009 at 17:03
and almunia is useless….
November 29, 2009 at 17:03
Arshavin’s been shocking.
Eduardo had a chance. I have no doubt if Theo was in there…there wouldve been a penalty.
Not good enough at all.
November 29, 2009 at 17:03
Its game over.
As usual, all the hype and like man utd at home in ECL last year, just woeful. Painfull to watch.
November 29, 2009 at 17:03
Diaby would have been good today IMO
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
Gunnershabz – how demoralising is it as Arsenal fans to watch Chelsea, a team that is already a winning team, looking to buy new and better players. And us, poor, under-achieving side just watches the transfer window pass by!!!! There’s only one Arsene Wenger! Thank fuck for that, I say!
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
we walcott coming straight away
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
theo theo theo
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
Denilson and Song in the same midfield??? Drop Nasri back and replace Denilson, or bring Rosicky on to replace Denilson, and bring Theo on for Nasri.
Wenger needs to change his policy or leave the club, I can’t take much more of his this team rhetoric.
He is taking the piss I’m afraid, we play chelsea again and we’re losing again.
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
Witaj Maćku, yes, unfortunately Arshavin has decided to stick to Soviet traditions of working today, or maybe Chelsea are too much for him and he is overrated.
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
Song off… fair play… he was poor.
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
Maybe it’s time to replace Denislon with Walcott?
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
song coming off,what is this
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
WTF SONG OFF?
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
fack… Song off… What the hell
November 29, 2009 at 17:04
so fed up, how have we become shitter than fucking chelsea. and wtf song off!!!!!!! jesus wenger denilson is a pile of wank, songs been our best player over the last few weeks
November 29, 2009 at 17:05
The fact that some are clamoring for Diaby and Bendtner sums it up for me.
Theo on for SOng.
Christ What the fuk is Wenger thinking?
O’h im about to cry.
November 29, 2009 at 17:05
He just took Song off!!! should have been Denilson.
November 29, 2009 at 17:05
Is Song injured?? he comes off not denilsson
November 29, 2009 at 17:05
i can take anything … BUT THIS FUCKIN LAZINESS
November 29, 2009 at 17:06
common wenger boys show ur character
November 29, 2009 at 17:06
song must be injured we will get mauled without him
November 29, 2009 at 17:06
Saddest thing is we havnt looked like scoring. Its not just a shambles at the back. We have no variation in attacked. Passing for the sake of passing and thats it!
So cheesed off cos we knew all these failings before the season started.
Prem dream over? Wenger lost it in August. Chickens come home to roost in Nov.
November 29, 2009 at 17:06
Songg off???
November 29, 2009 at 17:06
Chelsea always intriuge me, they are good team but play the wierdest brand of football i have come across. IF you could rate chelsea’s power out of 100 it would be 95 and ours would be 75. And vice versa in terms of technical ability, as chelsea are average in terms of technique. Awww well i will believe in this team nonetheless.
Lets have a repeat of standard leige.
November 29, 2009 at 17:06
It’s the only chance we have, Denilson can score and defend, we need to have a go.
November 29, 2009 at 17:06
Pedro – Why ditch Song, who is up to speed and playing well by his standards for a guy that has played 1 game in god knows how long!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:06
Shit by Dudu once again!
November 29, 2009 at 17:06
Eduardo has to come off.
November 29, 2009 at 17:07
eduardo i love u,but i cant keep on loving u always
November 29, 2009 at 17:07
thats better
November 29, 2009 at 17:07
How many Red shirts are in that box fffs.
November 29, 2009 at 17:08
Get Vela on. He can change the game. Its going to be down to individual brilliance and Vela has more of that than Eduardo!!
CUUUUUUUNNNNTTTTTTSSSS!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:08
CUNT CUNT CUNT CUNT CUNT CUNT!!!!!!!!!
WHY CANT WE FUCKING SCORE!
November 29, 2009 at 17:08
fucking cunts.
November 29, 2009 at 17:08
need a quick goal here, eddie to nick one??
come on arsenal
November 29, 2009 at 17:08
Made a complete hash of that
November 29, 2009 at 17:08
WTF?
November 29, 2009 at 17:09
Arshavin taking a fucking year to shoot!
November 29, 2009 at 17:09
arshavin u are out of world cup,try to accept it
November 29, 2009 at 17:09
Arshavin is wrecking my head with his slowness.
November 29, 2009 at 17:10
We really don’t want another sucker punch, lets just get in there and SCORE!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:10
OOOOOO MY GOOOD … CLLEEEEEAN GOAL U CUNT CLEEEAAAN GOOAAAL
November 29, 2009 at 17:10
That was a goal……!
November 29, 2009 at 17:11
WHAT! Wenger not wearing a suit!
November 29, 2009 at 17:12
Is Almunia braindead? WHy the fuck does he keep kicking the ball long.
November 29, 2009 at 17:12
If we’re so technically gifted why can’t we cross a ball?
November 29, 2009 at 17:12
Eduardo is having a mare
November 29, 2009 at 17:13
Arshavin! GET THE FUCK UP!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:13
We take too long to pass and shoot…………FUCKKKKK
we always allow them time to block…
November 29, 2009 at 17:13
Get Eduardo off this fucking pitch!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:13
Vela coming on. Better be Eduardo coming off.
November 29, 2009 at 17:14
WHY oh WHY DO we have to believe in this team and keep telling ourselves that this could be another Standard Liege or some other miracle? Has the role of football supporter become one of being a mindless drone whose only purpose is to support the team regardless of anything that goes on on and off the pitch.
This is shit and the board are to blame. Can’t blame Wenger for saying “yes” to a cushy job in securing the finances for the Arsenal as surely there are no demands on him to produce anything on the pitch.
Wenger knows finance.
As a non stockholder – I could care less if they pay off the debt in 20 or 23 years. In the meantime its Song and Denilson for us… Happy 4th place everyone.
Gone.
November 29, 2009 at 17:14
Eduardo is having a terrible game lol, he’s gotta come off.
November 29, 2009 at 17:14
eduardo is terrible, please take him off and tear up his new contract whilst you’re at it.
November 29, 2009 at 17:14
ref is a cunt, we are getting some bad luck today
November 29, 2009 at 17:15
we cant we cross
November 29, 2009 at 17:15
4 reds against 6 blues when that ball got delivered in! Do they not learn?
November 29, 2009 at 17:15
I saw Anelka fucking whizzing past Denilson…
November 29, 2009 at 17:15
Why did Song go off and not Denilson?
November 29, 2009 at 17:16
Aaaaghhhh Eduardo pull the fucking trigger!!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:16
eduardo’s too slow, he’s lost it. It’s a shame but it’s true.
November 29, 2009 at 17:16
What a horrific game by Eduardo.
November 29, 2009 at 17:16
Why not just do that at half time!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:17
Come on Vela
November 29, 2009 at 17:18
why cross the ball with a team full of midgets?
November 29, 2009 at 17:18
Zero cutting edge or movement from out front line when Arsh had the ball there!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:19
You can see Wenger thinking about what excuses to pull out already!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:19
this is all too familiar and very depressing.
November 29, 2009 at 17:19
Drogba is winning the ball without even having to jump. Fucking disgrace.
November 29, 2009 at 17:20
Song off. Denilson stays on!! Wenger truly has lost the plot.
November 29, 2009 at 17:20
remember “this is our time”.
November 29, 2009 at 17:20
Whats it gonna take for a chelsea player to get booked ffs1
November 29, 2009 at 17:20
There is no communication…………..Why didnt they tell Fabs that Joe Cole was behind him?
We dont seem to talk on the pitch at all.
November 29, 2009 at 17:20
Sorry guys, can someone remind me how many fouls the ref said Mikel was allowed for this game???? Cunt!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:21
I’d love a keeper who could do that…..even if he did have to wear a helmet!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:21
This ref is a cunt. PERIOD
November 29, 2009 at 17:22
P88. Te real question is why do we have a team full of midgets. Isnt that poor management.
November 29, 2009 at 17:22
Ja, believe it or not there is a rule at arsenal that noone talks to the players when we are in possession of the ball.
November 29, 2009 at 17:22
Uh oh……
November 29, 2009 at 17:22
vela hasn’t touched a ball yet
November 29, 2009 at 17:23
Good save that.
November 29, 2009 at 17:24
wonders never cease…….
November 29, 2009 at 17:24
Sagna Cunt
November 29, 2009 at 17:24
come on, atleast save some face and get a goal somehow.
November 29, 2009 at 17:25
Another piss poor cross!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:25
Fuckballs! Nothing is going our way!
Walcott should have shifted that and just smacked it.
November 29, 2009 at 17:25
sagna ffs, please target red shirts not blue ones
November 29, 2009 at 17:26
JT complaining at being fouled in the box. Ironic or what.
November 29, 2009 at 17:26
Why not take Denilson off?? Who fucking cares if we concede another 2, its still a loss!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:26
Hey guys why dont the players pinch the chelsea playersin the box?
A pinch is very hard to spot…If you pinch a guy instead of holding his shirt….then it will be hard for the ref to spot..
We should pinch the fuckers whenever the ball goes into the box….
November 29, 2009 at 17:26
should have taken arshavin off, he’s been pathetic.
November 29, 2009 at 17:26
Why did he bring off Nasri?? hes been ok. should have been Arshavin
November 29, 2009 at 17:27
Stu: But Walcott doesnt have a footbal brain to do that. Nor do they practice that in training. Its all about the passing
November 29, 2009 at 17:27
Stu – Thats exactly why I say Theo should already have that attitude in him but he hasn’t because Wenger has turned him into a winger that stops to look for a pass rather than shoot!!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:28
Ja – Yup!
November 29, 2009 at 17:28
What a pathetic team.
We have seriously gone down hill from 2005.
November 29, 2009 at 17:28
Aw Vela…what the fuck are you doing.
November 29, 2009 at 17:28
Dear oh dear!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:29
Wenger is having a fucking laugh – any plan B, gaffer?
November 29, 2009 at 17:29
at last
November 29, 2009 at 17:29
About fucking time that cunt got booked!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:29
i hope he plays a decent team in the fa cup cos that’s as good as it’s gonna get.
November 29, 2009 at 17:29
again, no pen for us
November 29, 2009 at 17:29
Oh whats this? A chelsea player being booked? Never seen that before…cunts
November 29, 2009 at 17:30
Yet another wasted set piece.
November 29, 2009 at 17:30
Cole injured
November 29, 2009 at 17:32
Yeah boo him, but he’s made us look like a fucking pub team!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:32
fuck they never show the replay of the penalty…
November 29, 2009 at 17:33
Pinch the fuckers
Pinch the fuckers
Pinch the fuckers
Pinch the fuckers
November 29, 2009 at 17:33
arshavin is fucking shit, he needs dropping. no commitment whatsoever.
November 29, 2009 at 17:33
“Ivanovic, stronger than Arshavin”
Fucking story of the last 5 years!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:33
I really think that Traore has done much better against Drogba then vermaelen
November 29, 2009 at 17:34
Arsh!!!! Fucking pull the trigger you depressive little twat!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:34
Traore has had a decent game, can’t really fault him.
November 29, 2009 at 17:34
4 losses and not even december.
November 29, 2009 at 17:34
Rosicky should have pinched Mikel…
November 29, 2009 at 17:35
Maybe a pub team would do better than this lot of pussies?
November 29, 2009 at 17:35
My streams died
November 29, 2009 at 17:35
I cant even be bothered to comment on Gray from this point forwards. Lets just say he is a cunt until told otherwise!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:35
When all our injured players come back they will be like new signings!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:36
This chelsea team is miles ahead of us.
Just as good upfront and 10x the team we are in defence.
November 29, 2009 at 17:36
Denilson has just broken every bone in his body, probably.
November 29, 2009 at 17:36
This does not look good we re being murdered.
November 29, 2009 at 17:36
Well at least we are winning at one thing. Our physio got to Denilson quicker that theirs got to Drogshit.
November 29, 2009 at 17:36
Paddy Vieira wouldn’t have gone a miss today! Or Bergkamp for that matter!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:36
why didn’t drogba has his fits when he went down??
November 29, 2009 at 17:36
gambon deep down I think we all knew that though didnt we?
November 29, 2009 at 17:36
Well I hope we can win the Champions league…
Cuz teams in the prem just know how to play against us…just clog up the middle and frustrate us….and get some lucky counter attack goals….
November 29, 2009 at 17:37
Who needs to shoot when you can just run aimlessly.
November 29, 2009 at 17:37
SHAIZA!!!!!!!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:37
This team still has a problem. May be good for the top 4, but not for the league yet. We need 3-4 more bodies.
November 29, 2009 at 17:38
Lets face it. We have been taught a way of football that’s hasn’t paid dividends in the last 5 years. This reluctance to shoot is borderline retarded.
November 29, 2009 at 17:38
Denilson and Drogba injured. At least 2 positives from the game.
Before you all slag me off – Denilson = 2 games. 2 defeats.
Before Denilson – 14 games unbeaten.
November 29, 2009 at 17:39
2 games without VP, 2 blanks.
November 29, 2009 at 17:39
Hitman, Song was just as shite.
We’re not up to it against the good teams.
You don’t need a world class holding players against weak teams do you?
November 29, 2009 at 17:39
Yeah, cross it! I’m sure Cesc will beat Terry to the header!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:40
I can see me sneaking out
November 29, 2009 at 17:41
on the bright side traore has done okay.
November 29, 2009 at 17:41
I’ve given up hope of the win now. 2-2 will have to do…….
November 29, 2009 at 17:41
11 point gap. Thats nothing…
November 29, 2009 at 17:41
Games against top 10 teams = 5, Wins=1, Losses = 4
November 29, 2009 at 17:42
We miss Bendtner and his verve and physicality….
Arshavin really is a frustrating bastard ain’t he.
November 29, 2009 at 17:42
How is that not a fucking foul for fuck sake!
November 29, 2009 at 17:42
Oh well back to the drawing board!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:42
So what will Arsene’s excuse be this time?
November 29, 2009 at 17:43
Wenger doesn’t care, he still gets paid and will do for at least another 2 years.
Time for someone new, someone that can see we just aren’t good enough, every season he says we are good enough, every year it’s over in November.
Take a leaf out of Wigans book and repay our season ticket money you deluded stubborn blind bastard.
I have had enough.
November 29, 2009 at 17:43
walcott is hopeless.
November 29, 2009 at 17:43
Lets be honest, the gulf in class has been absolutely huge!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:43
CG it will be the disallowed goal I bet
November 29, 2009 at 17:43
We should just give the likes of Wilshere and Ramsey now…might as well…
November 29, 2009 at 17:44
Theos not even close to good enough for a big team.
November 29, 2009 at 17:44
Walcott is the only guy looking to go forward with any intensity. If the others matched his desire we might have got somewhere today!
November 29, 2009 at 17:44
We have been utterly disgraced today. How many shots did we have? 4 or 5?
November 29, 2009 at 17:44
they know how to defend and be clinical
November 29, 2009 at 17:45
we’ve got no one upfront..walcott can’t cross for fuck sake
November 29, 2009 at 17:45
Boys playing against men
November 29, 2009 at 17:45
Chelsea just know how to win. Thats all that matters.
November 29, 2009 at 17:45
gambon – he has given them more problems in 40 minutes than any other player in 85 minutes! That is a fact that cannot be argued.
November 29, 2009 at 17:45
Thats what you get when you sign players with a winning mentality!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:45
Fabregas rarely performs against Chelsea….
November 29, 2009 at 17:45
fuck it
November 29, 2009 at 17:45
Well done Almunia you shithead.
November 29, 2009 at 17:45
whoop de wooo……
November 29, 2009 at 17:46
Boys playing against men. ChelseA is so strong
November 29, 2009 at 17:46
2nd best all over the field
November 29, 2009 at 17:46
thats it… title over
November 29, 2009 at 17:46
Another Almunia fuck up. Brilliant. Bet he still gets a pat on the back from Wenger.
November 29, 2009 at 17:46
bullshit … i’m off
November 29, 2009 at 17:46
Fucking humiliated.
November 29, 2009 at 17:46
embarrassing.
November 29, 2009 at 17:46
taig dont agree. he gave precisely same problems to them as everyone else = NONE
November 29, 2009 at 17:46
Almunia is a fecking genius
November 29, 2009 at 17:47
At least we have averaged 3 goals a game at the emirates
November 29, 2009 at 17:47
I hope and totally expect the crowd to give Wenger and players a like a fucking huge booing at the end of this game!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:48
Wenger says we don’t need to buy players. Chump.
November 29, 2009 at 17:48
Embarrassing.
6 years no league, will Wenger admit hes been wrong, no chance. Stupid cunt.
“give me one more year” – fuck right off.
November 29, 2009 at 17:48
taxi for Mr Wenger, I’ma afraid…
November 29, 2009 at 17:48
Ha ha ha ha …. except of course – the joke´s on us. Every cunt on the pitch…Wenger…and the board could care less. Everyone gets paid and is still a “hero”.
But we are just saps for keeping up with this shit.
Ha ha ha ha – at least my weekends have cleared up. And there is always beer.
November 29, 2009 at 17:48
Ooby – Terrific.
November 29, 2009 at 17:49
lets be honest, who’s suprised by this?
November 29, 2009 at 17:49
what would be good if AW now goes to the Board and says “Well you know you keep saying I can have as much as I need…. well, can you give me 200million in January cos I need to buy 6 players
November 29, 2009 at 17:49
I’ve left early and I’m not even there. we were shit
November 29, 2009 at 17:49
The true cunts are the idiotic fans that will sing and chant Wengers name after a 3-0 defeat to a huge rival! No wonder he doesnt feel any pressure!
November 29, 2009 at 17:50
Today I wash my hands of Wenger, he is now embarrassing the fans. Suga, I’ll pay the fare.
November 29, 2009 at 17:50
we might as well perpare for the fa cup thats much more realistic..arsene better get the cheque book out this transfer window..if he didn’t he might as well play the likes of ramsey and wilshere..
a gk,cb,dm,cf…and time to offload some of the players now
November 29, 2009 at 17:50
Gutted
We have no chance of winning it again this year. I hoped we would maintain a strong challenge, but the gap today is massive.
Poor Poor performance by Arsenal. Simply not good enough.
November 29, 2009 at 17:50
New keeper, new utility defender, big powerful midfielder, clinical powerful striker and Martin keown. Thats what i want arsenal to get for christmas…forget the two front teeth.
November 29, 2009 at 17:51
Looks like BBK was right then, fa cup it is?
November 29, 2009 at 17:51
Stu – 1 million %!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:51
goalie please fuck off you useless steaming lump of shit
November 29, 2009 at 17:52
Injuries was one of the major problems today, missing Van Persie and Bendtner who could of made a difference attack wise, also missing Diaby who would of probably been a better option than Denilson today, Eduardo must not be fully fit yet, I believe he will come good, he just needs a run, we haven’t been terrible today I don’t feel, we just had some problems with our game but also we were missing key players and Chelsea had everyone, that makes a big diference, if they didn’t have Drogba today my of been a different story, and we lost Van Persie who was playing an important role for us recently, and unfortunetly our probable second choice in Bendtner was also injured, also Walcott wasn’t strated today due to the previous injury and he could of made a differnce today if he started…. there are some poitives today….. Fabregas had a good game…. Gallas had a pretty good game……. also we are not out of the title race YET, if we win our game in hand it’s 8 points, and that isn’t impossible, but of course this makes it much harder, and I’m disapointed but I feel there truly were some tough circumstances today.
November 29, 2009 at 17:52
Paul88 – Not me.
November 29, 2009 at 17:52
Geoff, I said yesterday that if we lost today it’s GAME OVER.
November 29, 2009 at 17:52
We’ll win fuck all with this clown in goal and without an out and out striker!
November 29, 2009 at 17:52
To everyone that was saying we are far better than we were last year, last year we lost 5 from 14, this year its 4 from 13, and weve conceeded way more goals.
The fact is we arent a particularly good team.
November 29, 2009 at 17:52
making us look like mugs
November 29, 2009 at 17:52
So we are back to square 1? Chelsea repeating last year’s result against us… even better as we didnt have a sniff.
November 29, 2009 at 17:53
agree stu..project youth has been a total failure, he needs to admit..we’ve waited for 5 years and they never get better..pretty patterns without guile is music without rythm
November 29, 2009 at 17:53
We dont even have anybody…..who can take a decent fucking freekick….
Look how easy Drogba made that look…
November 29, 2009 at 17:53
Ruler – Thats why you buy players and create a strong squad which is completely anti-Arsene!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:53
How many fouls is that by Ivanovic and still no fucking booking. cunt of a ref if there ever was one.
November 29, 2009 at 17:53
at least mozart has shown a small bit of passion
November 29, 2009 at 17:53
circumstances, schmircunstances, Ruler…
November 29, 2009 at 17:54
well all this is very paying the price for a shrwed transfer policy and movement of the statament
November 29, 2009 at 17:54
“Overall I believe we were a little short of mentality today. We lacked spirit but we should have had a goal allowed and overall I feel this changed the game. I believe overall we can still win everything and overall, wait, what, where are you taking me?? Stop it, take that jacket off me. Overalmmmfffmmffffmmmm”
November 29, 2009 at 17:54
that’s exactly what you want to see from your captain. Gives the ball away, shrugs his shoulders and gives up.
November 29, 2009 at 17:54
its was all an illusion our early season form. We were anihilated by man u and chelsea last season and wenger brought one player in. cunt. we all new it would go wrong
November 29, 2009 at 17:54
No excuses. As usual we were limp when the going got tough. Too scared to shoot, too timid in the final third. No balls
November 29, 2009 at 17:54
gambon – that really is hard reading in the cold light of day!! Nothings changed has it.
November 29, 2009 at 17:54
well all this is very paying the price for a shrwed transfer policy and movement of the stadium
November 29, 2009 at 17:55
This was a run-over. Like we playing a shit /pub team. The players are begging for the whitstle
November 29, 2009 at 17:55
Chelsea need a pair of midfield enforcers, they get Essien and Mikel, we get Song and Denilson, they need a striker, they get Drogba, we get Bendtner, and so on.
Wenger should resign, he’ll put us through this as long as he’s allowed.
November 29, 2009 at 17:55
Fuck this shit! I want an apology from someone after this.
November 29, 2009 at 17:55
I hate to say it but I wished we played like Chelsea!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:56
the damage done in 1st half
November 29, 2009 at 17:56
Stu – good luck with that. But you might get a talk on motivating players and injured strikers.
November 29, 2009 at 17:56
Well done Wenger. You deluded french Cock.
November 29, 2009 at 17:56
Our style is shit.
Barca wannabe!
November 29, 2009 at 17:57
arsene is in his last year to deliver a silverware im afraid..not surprised but disappointed with everthing on display..
we’ve waited and waited and it’s still a false dawn..
November 29, 2009 at 17:57
fucking spuds above us, this can’t continue for another year.
November 29, 2009 at 17:57
I guess, time is ripe for to stay away from football for some time.
November 29, 2009 at 17:57
I just want some serious transfer action from AW in January – if he maintains his ridiculous belief in some of the substandard players he should take the fall for them if they fail miserably, which they will…
like someone said: one more year? Fuck. Right. Off.
November 29, 2009 at 17:57
Its fans like you ruler who keep on making excuses for Wengers shortcomings? face facts the squad isnt good enough!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:57
From invincimble to shambles. I feel sory for those that actualy went to the stadium to witness this shower of shit.
November 29, 2009 at 17:57
We just can’t finish.
20 mins of the second half we kept pounding and pounding but no cigar!!!
Go buy a fucking striker Wenger.
Not a 14 year old!!!!!!!!!
It’s ridiculous how a grown man can act like a stubborn child.
It’s enough!!
How much longer are we supposed to take this bullshit???
Seriously!!!! FFS!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 17:57
We a takeover.
Sell alot of our players.
Buy, Buy and Buy QUALITY not young shit!
November 29, 2009 at 17:58
were they booed off or no?
November 29, 2009 at 17:58
Ooby – genius.
“I believe [these player are] super super class”
“No, i do not feel it is the answer [to buy], i believe we have internal solutions”
November 29, 2009 at 17:58
need*
November 29, 2009 at 17:58
People are emotional but it’s the truth, we had very bad luck with our injuries and Chelsea had very good luck with theirs, that isn’t the only reason, but if we had Van Persie and Bendtner back it could of been a different game, we were left with very small players, more physical players would of been benefical.
November 29, 2009 at 17:59
nothing from last year addressed. RVP out for the guts of the season. not even close to threatening chelsea at home. dark days grovers.
November 29, 2009 at 17:59
Anyone looking forward to Barca v Madrid?
November 29, 2009 at 18:00
what has changed since last season?
sack Wenger and his bunch of underachievers
November 29, 2009 at 18:00
I am now backing Chelsea for the title….because anybody is better than the fucking Mancs…I would absolutley vomit if they win the league 4 years in a row….Chelsea is till way behind us in overall titles…so the cunts can win now all they want..
Hopefully we can win the FA cup/ Carling Cup/Championsleague..
Hopefully the other english teams get dumped out by the likes of Inter Barca Bordeaux etc….
November 29, 2009 at 18:00
Back to square 1.
All those crying out for us to sign a quality centre half, central midfielder and striker to replace Ade – all say I told you so.
Simply not good enough. Short on experience, guile, strength and guts.
Fighting for 4th is whats ahead.
November 29, 2009 at 18:00
so everyone can now start bithcing and fighting just like sunderland game…
but i would say…keep the faith in the team…we will back…common arsenal
November 29, 2009 at 18:01
ruler take off ur rose tinted specs…we’re lightyears behind from chelsea and manu..AW has brought this upon us with his admiration of average players…
November 29, 2009 at 18:01
I would not go that far Gambon. We are a lot better than last year. At least I have enjoyed wathching us play (in the most part).
We are better but unfortunately still not good enough.
Unless one of our Strikers starts to show some form soon though, we will need to buy in Jan.
Poor today, we need to get on a run now and give no one a chance to start building pressure on our top four status. we will still come at least 3rd in my eyes.
November 29, 2009 at 18:01
We will be back to where?
November 29, 2009 at 18:01
Today Mick McCarthy made an apollgy to every Wolves fan for their display against their derby Rivals. Will Wenger do that for us?? WILL HE FUCK!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:01
Ruler – it’s not luck, it’s the squad depth – quality, not quantity…
and no like for like options in bigger players department in case of injuries – our ‘big’ options are two clumsy players in the shape of Diaby & Bendtner and no replacement for them in any shape or form…
November 29, 2009 at 18:01
why did we give a crook a 4.5 year contract?
November 29, 2009 at 18:02
Arsgavin is fucking awful. Has been this whole season and you lot get pissed when I say that. He is fucking overrated and got gifted 3 of those 4 goals at Anfield. Looking like a right waste of 15 million atm.
Eduardo can fuck off, he’s just as useful with one leg.
Theo is theo, completely brainless.
Our defense looked good today, but we still managed to concede 3. ALmunia at fault for 2.
November 29, 2009 at 18:02
Wenger what have you done?
November 29, 2009 at 18:03
did anyone really think we’d win? I knew BBK was right this time. best we can hope for is 3rd
November 29, 2009 at 18:03
Well that was painfull. Pathetic and toothless in attack. Eduardo isnt good enough as the main striker. Song has to be injured.
Chelsea are a force. They werent particularly great but didnt need to be. Just Woefull.
We need re-investment.
November 29, 2009 at 18:03
Was Song injured?
November 29, 2009 at 18:03
It’s fucking quantity, thats it, apart from that they had no fucking injuries, fucking depressing but just shows you how far we have to go.
November 29, 2009 at 18:03
We’re not lightyears behind them, that’s ridiculous, we pretty much outplayed Man U in the game against them, this result also flatters Chelsea, a brilliant bit of individual brilliance by Drogba, a mistake and a lucky goal, Chelsea deserved to win overll but not by 3 goals… we lacked the ability be clinical and penetration, we wasted too many chances by playing in weak crosses.
November 29, 2009 at 18:04
“Didier, do you have theory as to why you score so many against Arsenal?”
His mouth said no. His mind was thinking yes, their all a bunch of light weight girls!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:04
Sack Wenger, there I’ve said it.
3-0 defeat at home is unacceptable, no matter who the fuck you are. I wouldn’t mind if we won against Sunderland, but no.
November 29, 2009 at 18:04
i suppose we still dont need a clinical striker RIGHT ?
November 29, 2009 at 18:04
And Lumpard won himself a camera too! Cunts
November 29, 2009 at 18:04
2 games in the league we didn’t score..and we’ll keep on conceding in every league game..what do we need?? let me see..
A GK,CB,DM AND A CF..and all should be good in the air and have a fucking presence..
November 29, 2009 at 18:06
Keyser,
if you buy a bunch of not fully developed youngsters and let them play with the big boys, it’s pretty obvious they are gonna get the shit kicked out of them and lots of injuries, it’s no rocket science…
November 29, 2009 at 18:06
That was something I hoped wouldn’t happened but feared it would. You always hate to admit that you are not in the same league as certain teams and we are not ready for Chelsea, maybe RVP would have made the difference, he did last year.
November 29, 2009 at 18:06
ruler – when was the last time teams are afraid when they play us be it at home or away??
November 29, 2009 at 18:07
THIS IS HORRIBLE. 3/4TH PLACE IT IS. THEN.
November 29, 2009 at 18:07
Fabregas was very poor but will probably go in and watch the Spanish game and think… “hmmmmm” I wouldnt blame him either.
November 29, 2009 at 18:07
If Chelsea were missing Drogba it could of been a very different game, and we were missing our equivilent in Van Perise, he was supplying quite a few goals for us and integral in our team play.
We need to pick ourselves up do the best we can, there’s been times I’ve been extremely disapointed in our performance, this is disapointing but we were not terrible.
November 29, 2009 at 18:07
my guess wiould be 04..and why was that??
November 29, 2009 at 18:08
The Match is OVER…
what was missing was we were not clinical upfront, but we KNOW we CAN BE THAT..and when we are clinical upfront,we can screw chelsea too…it was just not our day upfront….
now guys just LOOK FORWARD to next game….we are effectively 8 points behind…Not so far…we beat them at bridge last year…they have tuf games to play too
Keep the faith in the team,we will be back i am sure…
common arsenal
November 29, 2009 at 18:08
Ruler, please, I am hearing enough of this ‘unfair, unlucky, outplayed, better team’ bullshit from Our Glorious Leader
November 29, 2009 at 18:08
Ruler they weren’t missing Drogba though were they.
November 29, 2009 at 18:08
i looked at the fixture list
end of jan and begin of feb we playing man utd, chelsea and liverpool
so i guess we will see where we are then
November 29, 2009 at 18:08
yes, we were terrible, Ruler – we did not get a fucking sniff…
November 29, 2009 at 18:09
the game was over at half time really. I would have been shocked if we scored. Just pathetic really.
How Arsene thinks THAT team will win anything is comical.
Nobody is scared of playing us.
November 29, 2009 at 18:09
Sabeel how are we effectively 8 points behind because we havent won the game in hand and might not!
November 29, 2009 at 18:09
If I could take 3rd now I would!
November 29, 2009 at 18:09
Here we go again what if,we had, same old bollocks from the same fans/people? face it the experiment has failed, what will it take for you to see that!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:10
Overall a poor game.
I wouldn’t say sack him but he seriously needs to re-think stuff.
Spend some much needed cash in the right positions…we can’t do without our main striker for the rest of the season without replacing.
November 29, 2009 at 18:10
Exactly that’s the point……
November 29, 2009 at 18:10
Suga3 – Spot on, football’s quite simple when you look at it like that.
Just shows how important the big players are in the big games, literally.
November 29, 2009 at 18:10
Ok,
We’ve all let off the steam, lets settle in and analyse our where we lost the ball.
a) Ball watching defence for two goals
b) Short strikers, no chance with crosses
c) Chelsea defended more as a team, looked fitter
d) Wenger’s buying policy
e) Our board only want top 4, but fans are promised or want heaven
f) The third goal looks like its beyond catching, but the wall was placed wrongly and that’s Al’s fault.
November 29, 2009 at 18:11
reggie57 – What people ?! I think we need more violence.
November 29, 2009 at 18:11
Chelsea were physically stronger than us. I’m watchin this game and I’m seeing our player being pushed off the ball like we puppets. As much talent and skill that our players may have if u can’t physically be stronger than the other team u dnt stand a chance. Every team now knows that about the arsenal.
November 29, 2009 at 18:11
coz we don’t have players who will not be bullied and kicked off the park..we’re too one dimensional, we’ll keep attacking down the middle, and when we’re at the channels we can’t deliver the final ball..and when we do JT and carvalho will be there to head it out..
November 29, 2009 at 18:12
Get your knuckle dusters on then Keyser!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:12
I am adamant we won’t win a thing with this policy of kids, it just won’t work. If AW won’t change this policy then Gazidis has to step in and say something to him. We always get blinded by the goals we score against the smaller clubs, but we know the truth.
November 29, 2009 at 18:12
lewyd spot on!
November 29, 2009 at 18:12
Yeah it’s true about ball watching, there’s times we should of closed down better, Sagna could of done better with the Cole cross I think.
November 29, 2009 at 18:13
Sabeel,
Not our day upfront?? Do you expect us to beat chelsea 4-3 or something.
We have way bigger problems in defence than at the other end.
November 29, 2009 at 18:13
We’re not going to buy any players, forget it.
Wenger’s gonna stick to these players until they become worldbeaters. Our team is good overall but, we become unstuck against teams like Chelsea. If you look at our previous winning run, there were no top 4 teams in there. So we’re not crap but have we got the team to be England’s no.1? No.
November 29, 2009 at 18:13
Its not only that we lacked physicality….(RVP bendy being out) but I think its also a mentality……
We just dont have the mentality of Chelsea, Manure….and even Liverpool(but they lack quality)
Look at Barca they are small technical players but they beat Manure very well even with some injuries..
Chelsea held Barca at bay but that just goes to show how good Chelsea are clogging up the game….
When we face opponents like these we need a plan b…the intricate passing does not work because Chelsea throw themselves at everything…
You need to pass and shoot very quickly in these type of games..but we took ages to make up our minds on what we wnated to do with the ball
November 29, 2009 at 18:14
Once again men against boys
November 29, 2009 at 18:14
Ooby..we will..
and i will finish off with this…
Keep the faith,we can turn our poor finishing, evident at sunderland and here today…
i read somewhere…
we have 25 MORE GAMES TO GO yes 25 more….
we can turn our finishing to form…keep the faith…common arsenal inshallah
November 29, 2009 at 18:14
someone for gods sake cheer me up.
November 29, 2009 at 18:14
player like Chamakh or Kenwyne Jones would give Terry a problem or two – we had unfit Eduardo upfront, this is piss poor IMO…
November 29, 2009 at 18:15
reggie57 – Ah man, honestly, if I could have played Lampard would have studs marks in his face that reminded him of his acne filled teenage days.
November 29, 2009 at 18:17
SUGA3 – I said at the start of the year we should buy Kenwyn.
Stonroy – Spot on about the fans getting blinded by the goals we score against the minnows!
November 29, 2009 at 18:18
Shocking
November 29, 2009 at 18:19
We will be fighting for the 4th spot soon. Spuds are above us and Scousers are just on the verge of coming back …
Well Mr Wenger will again say that he needs 1 more year…1 more year to make a fool out of us…we stupid supporters.
And by the way anyone having bets against us winning in Manchester..
November 29, 2009 at 18:19
Keyser – That’s exactly the problem isn’t it. There isn’t one player in that team that follows that mentality!
November 29, 2009 at 18:20
Wenger stop it you are embarassing yourself now!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:20
same old crap from wenger, blaming the ref. I’ve had enough of him. Either the board gets him to spend and rectify these problems or he can go. I’m sick off this.
November 29, 2009 at 18:21
It felt that when we dominated possession in the fist half that Chelsea were kind of defending with this casual style knowing that they would get their chance and bury it.
November 29, 2009 at 18:22
Sell;
Almunia
Silvestre
Senderos
Traore
Clichy
Eduardo
Diaby
Denilson
Eboue
Buy some big physical players!
November 29, 2009 at 18:25
I’ve said it for ages, Terry, Lampard, Drogba, all massive massive cunts, we’re just too nice, they’ll dive cheat kick people stamp tug your shirt abuse the ref while we’re too fucking nice about it all.
I also think Bendtner and Diaby would’ve actually been good today.
November 29, 2009 at 18:25
If we buy a big physical striker we may have to change formation again…..because there would be no place for Van Persie…..
It would have to be a RVP + Big striker partnership…. with Arshavin on the wing…..
Wenger needs to make up his mind..because we dont have any good backups for the Cf ROLE when RVP goes down….
He will probably just hope that Bendy develops….
Its unfortunate that both guys are out at the same time….
Eddy needs to be back up for Arshy in the left wing role….
On the right side…it should be Theo or Vela….
Nasri, Rosikcy, Diaby should be in the midfield with Fabs….with either Denilson or Song behind them….
Wenger needs to rethink……This is how it should be
……………..Song/Denilson…………………..
….Fabs/Rosicky………………….Diaby/nasri….
..Theo/Vela……….RVP/Bendy/New…………Arshy/Eddy
We need pace up front..too much of this Nasri and Rosicky turning back/cutting in/slowing the play….we always allow teams to get back when we counter…
November 29, 2009 at 18:27
But Bendtner and Diaby were not there because they are injury prone kids, instead of tough talented men.
November 29, 2009 at 18:28
But isnt that down to AWs transfer policy Keyser why we have a bunch of small technical players and no massive cunts!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:28
And Drogba shytes on Arsenal all over again.
November 29, 2009 at 18:29
I seriously need to stop caring about Arsenal and get on with life
November 29, 2009 at 18:29
The writing is certainly on the wall when people are clamoring for the likes of Bendtner and Diaby.
The 3rd goal was so funny.
Drogba didnt even have to shoot over the wall. All of them are so short.
November 29, 2009 at 18:29
Just listened to Wenger. Twat owes us an apology but oh no, he just blames the ref! How can he say that it was Ivanovic that kicked Czech and not Eduardo after “watching it 5 times”!! If Czech hadn’t of jumped his head would have been on the floor instead of the ball!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:30
Any-way’s I’m off to top myself:S
November 29, 2009 at 18:30
He’ll never admit his team aren’t good enough, he’ll blame everyone but himself.
He’s fast becoming a joke.
November 29, 2009 at 18:30
Willy G is the only man we have in the team, Cesc of course is extremely mature but you get my point.
November 29, 2009 at 18:31
Ofcoarse we arent good enough.
We were well and truly beaten.
But oh no worries…”If we had played that game at home…we wouldve won it”
Oh wait…
November 29, 2009 at 18:31
Wasnt that the side that the clown should have been defending David?
November 29, 2009 at 18:31
reggie57 – You don’t have to be big to be a massive cunt, Cole’s quite small, lest we forget Dennis Wise, again I think Bendtner and Diaby would’ve helped.
November 29, 2009 at 18:32
That wall was an embarrassment in that third goal, only a useless goalkeeper would position such a stupid wall.
November 29, 2009 at 18:32
If I were Wenger I would not fucking play rosickiy or Nasri as a forward ever again….
They need to be in the midfield like I oulined above….and get the fucking fastest players up front….
Its fucking annoying watching Nasri slow the game up every fucking time….Guys like he and Rosikcy should be driving from midfield releasing powerful shots instead of being on the wing where they cant outrun anbody and have to slow the game down to create more triangles..
Nasri and Rosikcy and Fabs should be coming in following up rebounds at the top of the box…
Let Vela theo RVP Bendy Arshy etc stay up front with their pace….
The Dms were not the problem today..because Chelsea sat back mostly….its our fucking attackers who have no idea how to open up a packed defense……
Either Bendy develops..or we need sell him and get in a Chamakh type striker to share the role with RVP….
November 29, 2009 at 18:33
gambon
we dominated them for first 40 mins in first half..had we been clinical ..we would have been leading 2-0..instead of leaking 2-0
when we are 2-0 up,then we can defend better..as we are not more forward to go for goal compared to 0-0 scoreline..
not being clinical upfront cost us the game..as the game was done and dusted in first half
November 29, 2009 at 18:34
Dennis Wise. David Batty. Mathieu Flmaini. Even Darren fucking Fletcher.
November 29, 2009 at 18:34
We need a new Manager+Board+Owner.
_________New GK__________
Sagna–Gallas–Vermy–Gibbs
____New DM–Fabregas–New CM_
____Bendy–RVP–Walcott__
Arshavin is getting shitter by the game.
Nasri=Not good enough.
Rosicky=Not good enough.
November 29, 2009 at 18:35
Ja we have never been good at opening up a packed defense. The best we can hope for is crossing it in for our boys who come up to their armpits.
November 29, 2009 at 18:35
Well keyser, you obviously don’t care about winning, as long as we carry on paying tribute to a man who will not be told.
We aren’t good enough, we will never be good enough and we need to buy talent, you know like all the other teams that win do.
November 29, 2009 at 18:35
Diaby; Keyser you are joking aint you? hes about as much use as a ashtray on a motor-bike
November 29, 2009 at 18:37
Reggie, you think he’s that good?
November 29, 2009 at 18:38
Should have played the good old 4-5-1 aswell!
November 29, 2009 at 18:38
Seeing as stats are the rule here how many saves did cech make ?enlighten me someone!
November 29, 2009 at 18:38
Diaby Maybe?
But fucking Bendtner?
They wouldve helped move the score line in the other direction.
Fuck that.
Wenger put this team of crocks, midgets and almosts together.
We are an almost team.
November 29, 2009 at 18:38
Wenger is fucking mad….why does he put Nasri and Rosicky type players as wide forwards..when they are not that fast?
They also have good shots on them but them cant use it from those positions…
The flanks need to be occupied by Theo Vela Arshy and to a lesser extent Eddy(he has looked better there than at CF)
Nasri and Rosikcy need to be in the middle….
The midfielders should be…Nasri, Fabs, Rosick, Denilson, SOng Diaby…..
These guys should not play on the wing unless there is an injury crisis in these positions….I like the 4-3-3 but Wenger keeps putting play makers outwide instead of direct guys…
November 29, 2009 at 18:38
Sabel all this talk about us being clinical, we are not a clinical team under Wenger. AW has now got a farm system whereby he trains these kids the Wenger way, but has anyone ever thought maybe their is a hole in his plans, maybe he doesn’t know everything? Bring in the Iceman teach these kids a new perspective, time is up on this experiment, it doesn’t have the depth to go all the way.
November 29, 2009 at 18:40
Well it comes to something when we are saying Diaby and Bendy would have made a difference Geoff
I call that clutching at straws mate!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:40
Geoff in you heart of hearts did you really think we would win?
November 29, 2009 at 18:40
“This is the year that Walcott becomes a Striker”
Tell me fella’s was walcott on the right Wing or was he in the CF position?
My Gawd. I hate being lied to.
November 29, 2009 at 18:40
Geoff – What are you on about ?!
Reggie57 – Nah, I think he might’ve had a good match today, he’s big enough to hold them off and has got quick feet, his consistentcy is a problem, but it would have been good to see hoe we’d have played against Chelsea and Sunderland with him and Bendtner in the team.
November 29, 2009 at 18:41
like i said..25 more games to go…we can turn our poor finishing which has killed us in last 2 games..
those chelshit are way behind in trophy cabinet…there is no use of crying over spilled milk,we cannot do anything, hence just support the team..and look forward…we arsenal fans know what is right and wrong.
common arsenal…inshallah
and goodnite…
November 29, 2009 at 18:43
So who else thinks “it wouldve been good to see Diaby and Bendtner in the team”
Seriously?
Anyone thrilled to see Diaby or Bendy in the team?
You think thats what we were missing today?
Any takers?
Methinks this is a serious case of the Blind Man following the Blind.
November 29, 2009 at 18:43
reggie57 – Fucking hell, we were playing crosses into the box, at least they have some height, what harm would it have done to have someone like Bendtner who is actually quite big ?! Heh, are you just looking for an argument ?!
Thats too easy mate.
November 29, 2009 at 18:43
They are not good enough for us Keyser surely you can see that mate? bendy 2nd or 3rd choice striker,Diaby to be sold ASAP………..
November 29, 2009 at 18:44
I hear some people saying that we were not clinical..
BUt I disagree…I think clinical means finishing off clear opportunities..
BUT WE DID NOT CREATE ANY CLEAR OPPORTUNITIES.
It was all half chances..most of them blocked…Before we start talking about clinicality we need to create the chnces first…. We did not because we delay too fucking much waiting for the perfect opportunity and it never realy came..
We need to take more risky passes in the final third and take more shots….this why Chelsea..Manure Liverpool always get deflected goals etc..
Whenever we decide to shoot finally….the shots are closed down and blocked..
November 29, 2009 at 18:44
David – Heh, does lickle David what an argument aswell ?!
November 29, 2009 at 18:45
Keyser,
IF Bendy was playing.
He wouldve been the one crossing the fucking Ball
Open your eyes mate! Or your head! Or both!
November 29, 2009 at 18:45
Bendtner would have been better than Eduardo for sure.
Diaby might have done better than Denilson but probably not….
November 29, 2009 at 18:45
Stonroy I’ve been saying all season that the marmites are not good enough, I’ve been shouted down by many, today proved me right, we are just not good enough in certain areas, replace the marmites and we can challenge.
My post today was hopeful, and showed Le Grove readers I hoped I was wrong about Song and his mates.
I clearly wasn’t, and now I think it’s time for Wenger to fall on his sword, last season we lost to the chavs and the mancs in the same week, this season we lost at home again to the chavs, and he still thinks we are good enough.
He needs help, I’ve had enough.
November 29, 2009 at 18:45
What the fuck is lickle.
November 29, 2009 at 18:45
Diaby one good game in ten, injured for the next five get rid liability…..
November 29, 2009 at 18:46
for fuck sake.
November 29, 2009 at 18:46
Just got home and seen the result.
Dont know what happened in the game but the score says we were fucking thrashed.
3 nil at home is fucking embarassing.
November 29, 2009 at 18:47
reggie57 – We looked small and lightweight today, they’re some of the bigger players we have, if all we going to do is get all hysterical and say sell sell sell, fine, was just wondering how they’d have done today.
November 29, 2009 at 18:47
Bendtner wouldve been better than Eduardo.
Now that is an effing laugh.
November 29, 2009 at 18:47
pathetic from our players…just pathetic….everything we feared would happen did. these soft gutless touches are getting paid 50 grand for that…get f***ked…..I have had enough…we are a bunch of lightweights…and Chelsea in third gear steamrolled us…our players need to look hard at themselves..utter shite.
November 29, 2009 at 18:47
Keyser would be good if the crosses from sagnas side cleared the 1st man IMO!!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:47
Wenger’s great idea was to wip in crosses for the forwards, none of which was taller than 5′6″, Hmmm great tactics Wenger.
November 29, 2009 at 18:48
Anyway, I’m going, I feel sick and need to get pissed, very, very pissed.
November 29, 2009 at 18:48
Today we were given a defending lesson. and once again drogba take us down.. it would interesting to see how many goals he’s scored against us.
for god’s sake just sell ALMUNIA !!
November 29, 2009 at 18:48
When our players reach the box its as if they come up on a force field…..They need to drive into the fucking box and draw some fouls..forc the defender to make a mistake….we dont do that we slow down and tip toe around the box….
And we really need a new Goal keeper..the second goal was his fault..I am not sure about the third I did not even watch the replay
Who the fuck in our team can take a decent direct free kick?
November 29, 2009 at 18:48
Who would you all want in these gaps?
_________????????__________
Sagna–Gallas–Vermy–Gibbs
____??????–Fabregas–???????_
______RVP–??????–Walcott__
November 29, 2009 at 18:49
Not good enough and certainly not mentally or physically strong enough.
In Wenger’s myopic view Eduardo, Denilson, Bendtner and Theo are good enough to be of value to a title winning side. I don’t share his views and last week and today just reinforced my worst fears.
Should we end this season without a trophy I believe that Wenger should be looking at whether he has taken this particular squad as far as he can.
November 29, 2009 at 18:49
David – Van Persie’s injured, I think he might’ve played up front.
November 29, 2009 at 18:49
Have to say, Ashley Cole was brilliant today. Rosicky was probably our best player when he came on.
November 29, 2009 at 18:50
David;
Eduardo was truly shit today.
His touch,his passes,his pace(Everything basically)
I could have done better than him today…..:)
November 29, 2009 at 18:50
JA
Its a great question
The man who can take free kicks in our team is currently injured atm.
He’s the only freekick taker in 22+ players.
November 29, 2009 at 18:50
Well its me and a few other grovers that are getting hysterical then, not happy with that performance/result are you!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:50
Well Bendtner adds something different, he is our best striker in the air, he is strong, he has become more skilful and he has good link up play now, he has been a good part in a lot of our moves…. Diaby was ever present in our best run this season, that’s a fact, he adds more physicality in the middle which is important, he breaks up play with power and tackles and he offers something good offenesivly too, in my opinion he currently offers a lot more than Denilson…. and add Van Persie to that list too, we miss his link up play, and his ability to hit the back of the net, he has unlocked tight games for us this season and one us games, of course we missed him.
Some people are just looking for an argument and a way to vent their frustration because there so childish and immature they can’t have a rational debate like adults, it’s a shame…..
November 29, 2009 at 18:51
Samir
You would do better than Bendtner on any day.
November 29, 2009 at 18:52
Geoff..I would not blame the marmites for this one…
Its our offence that lacking today…plus the goal keeper…
Wenger just throws alot of play makers out there and he thinks everythink will work itself out…
The defensive mid was not the problem today….its our fucking pass pass pass philosophy along with our lack of physicality and pace…
Wenger is to be blamed…..he switches to 4-3-3 but then has no idea what to do when RVP goes down(predictibly)
November 29, 2009 at 18:52
Geoff, thats not Wenger’s tactic. The players were clueless so they kept crossing. Rosicky was our only midfielder who looked like creating something when he came on. Cesc chokes against Chelsea again.
November 29, 2009 at 18:52
Keyser
So what?
Did Van Persie not play upfront when we got Thrashed 4-1 at home in April/May?
Dont worry Keyser…keep the excuses coming.
Im sure youd think of something else.
November 29, 2009 at 18:53
_________Akinfeev__________
Sagna–Gallas–Vermy–Gibbs
____Inler–Fabregas–Veloso_
______RVP–Dzeko–Walcott__
Akinfeev-10M
Inler-10M
Veloso-6M
Dzeko-17M
43M well spent.
We most of that from the Ade and Toure sales…!!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:53
where is ManGoonian today….after all the crap he spouted this week… Do you see clearly now ManGoonian,,a team of lightweight boys with a paperweight mentality…..I really want to see a few tough English players in there. dream on…these players just don’t realise what these games mean to fans. they are just dreaming of making money or going home to big clubs. I am beyond caring. why should we if our team does’nt
November 29, 2009 at 18:55
We have*
November 29, 2009 at 18:55
Ruler the fact of the matter is the squad is not good enough players get injured i know that, thats why we need ready made replacements to come in. childish no i dont think so just passionate fans who care where we are going at this moment in time!!
November 29, 2009 at 18:56
I thought Traore had a good game…
November 29, 2009 at 18:58
Samir i wish it wuz that easy to buy all these players
November 29, 2009 at 19:00
Reggie, passion is perfectly fine, it’s a good thing, just it’s better to talk maturly then we can have a debate instead of just making rash statements without really backing up your points. I’m also a passionate fan that has supported Arsenal all my life and will continue to do…… what positions do you feel we should strengthen and with who?
November 29, 2009 at 19:01
Sir Henry, Wenger should be asking himself that today. Does he believe that we’re still capable of winning a trophy.
Wenger has time on his hands because he has a contract until 2011. And as long as we qualify for the Champions League which we will, the board will accept that.
It’s a case of expectations, fans are so used to us playing in the Champions League that they forget that there are 16 other clubs in the league which would like to be in our position. Everton managed it once, the rest never have.
So we have to accept this as a long term strategy of building the foundations of the club which in decades will beseen as great, but while we live through it, we’ll have to put up with an occasional arse fuck from Chelsea.
November 29, 2009 at 19:01
Gutted seeing them chav cunts celebrating at the emirates twice in a year!whats that 1 goal scored SEVEN conceded! dont worry we are on track!!
November 29, 2009 at 19:01
Where are we going?
We are going American Aparrantly.
And seems to me the sooner the better.
Would like to thank Mr. Wenger for all he has done for Arsenal but if the Jan Window comes and goes again and we have to rely on a 20 year old fuck up to win the tittle. I think it would be best to move in a different direction.
Thierry We miss you.
November 29, 2009 at 19:02
Buy a a fucking goal keeper! El clasico: KAKA tears the Barca defense apart; squares the ball to Ronaldo who has a clean sight of goal but Valdes makes a superb save. Almunia would have made Cristiano and KAKA look like gods there!
November 29, 2009 at 19:04
Ruler: Bendtner would of made no difference today he is not good enough and not quick enough in thought or speed for a top team with aspirations to win things. wtf are we A. Villa in disguise? The sooner Wenger gets it into his ignorant head that the composistion of this group of players won’t win anything the better.
November 29, 2009 at 19:06
But that is anti- belief Sir Henry, that is Wenger’s mantra, that there’s not enough belief and that’s what needs to change.
November 29, 2009 at 19:06
Went to the game today. We are in dire need of a ‘Striker’. Eduardo cannot lead the line, nor can Vela, nor can Walcott and nor can Arshavin.
It was men against boys today.
November 29, 2009 at 19:06
I think this team can do well….
…………………..Akinfeev/German…………………..
Sag/Eboue…….Gallas…………Vermy…….any of our LBs
……………………Song/New/Den…………………..
….Cesc/Rosick………………………Nasri/Diaby……
..Theo/Vela……………RVP/Bendy/NEw………Arshy/Eddy….
Nasri/Rosick should not fucking play as forwards…in this formation…..
We need fast and strong(along with technique) in the forward positions at all times….
November 29, 2009 at 19:07
RM and Barcelona square off 2nd half, lets watch and learn, Mr, Wenger
November 29, 2009 at 19:09
I disagree Finest. I he would have bought 4-5 players with phisical presence it would have been a different match today.
-Frey or Lloris,
- Cetin,
- Distein,
- Inler or Sissoko from Toulouse,
- Dzeko.
And I will say it once again. Almunia is sooo crap.
November 29, 2009 at 19:09
I expect us to be taken over soon. We need better/more players. Big names aren’t a necessity though.
Also, CHelsea are fucking brilliant in defense. No team in the PL will even come close.
We have to beat all the shit teams. We’re definately capable of beating LPool home and away. Utd will drop pts. We have to hope the top 4 get pts off chelsea and maybe they drop some against smaller teams.
Remember, we’re not used to playing without RVP yet. Hopefully we work on it hard in training and we find a system that we can use.
Game in hand is Bolton at home, that should be an easy win. 8 pts lads with the top 4 all set to play each other. Chelsea will lose players in the ACN.
We just have to stay strong and hope. Lets just worry about our results for now.
November 29, 2009 at 19:10
fcuts
I think there was plenty of belief before we got humiliated at home today.
Belief is far from the problem.
November 29, 2009 at 19:10
Ruler;promote fabianski to no1 get in matiulda, inler and dzeko at least that team would give the chavs a game not wilt like they did today!
November 29, 2009 at 19:11
I’m beginning to feel you’re right Chipo, that RVP was our glass jaw, maybe Eduardo can lead the line for us one day like for Croatia, but not now.
November 29, 2009 at 19:12
Thanks to this clown in goal we have conceided 2 goals.
November 29, 2009 at 19:13
When we switched to 4-3-3 I thought that was what Wenger had in his plans…i.e. put Nasri/Rosicky in the midfield with Fabregas with Denilson or Songt behind them…
When we need height etc..we can put Diaby in there….
BUt Wenger keeps sticking Nasri and Rosicky on the wings they are not effective there….for christs sake he even puts Bendy on the wing?
What the fuck? It seems when he doesnt know where to put a player..he just sticks them on the wing…. but hopefully he re-accesses and realises that only
Arshy
Vela
Theo
Eddy (he has looked much better in the left forward role)
Should play on the fucking wings…
November 29, 2009 at 19:14
Just back in, just flat out rubbish. Not good enough.
Funny I thought we’d lose this game in Midfield, that it would be the marmite players fault, but it wasn’t. We were ok in the middle, just hammerred up front and at the back.
November 29, 2009 at 19:15
Hey Maciek, I’m saying that’s Wenger’s mantra not mine.
I believe Wenger should have got us another defender to replace Silvestre, someone top quality, a top quality central midfielder like Alonso, a top quality striker, and now that we’ve lost to Chelsea, lets play Fabiański.
November 29, 2009 at 19:15
Did Wenger really blame the ref?
Let me tell you something, there were three teams on that pitch, Arsenal, The officials and Chelsea.
Arsenal were the worst of the three.
November 29, 2009 at 19:16
We need to try Theo as a striker.
November 29, 2009 at 19:17
I agree Finest. All these players should be over 6′1.
November 29, 2009 at 19:19
Danny Alves is worth every penny.
That is what you call a cross ffs. What a cross. What a goal. What a finish.
November 29, 2009 at 19:19
Pat, he’d be a poor man’s Agbonlahor.
November 29, 2009 at 19:19
Cracking goal by Ibrahimovic.
November 29, 2009 at 19:19
We should get in a Yaya type player who can play DM or CB..
We also need to get rid of fucking Almuinia…..
And also get a big powerful striker in if Bendy does not develop….
Bendy should get his chance as CF in about 2 weeks time….
If he does well then we dont need a striker…if not sell him and get one in……
So for me
1. GK
2. CB/DM utility player
3. Big Strong striker (if Bendy does not develop)
4. Dont fucking play Nasri/Rosick on the wings
Play only Vela, Theo, Asrhy, Eddy or other fast strong players on the wing or up front
Do this and we can be champions
What do you guys think?
November 29, 2009 at 19:20
Yeah David. Its also proof that you dont hae to cross to everyones head. If we had crossers like that we could score more goals. A low cross is all that was needed today.
November 29, 2009 at 19:21
what about almunia..he is useless
no 1 on the list to go!
November 29, 2009 at 19:21
Two goals today were down to almunia not commanding the box, 1st goal simple shout of leave would have been enough,2nd goal schoolboy error when lining up the wall. The man is a liability and needs to be replaced urgently!!
November 29, 2009 at 19:21
Anyone know why the first half of El Classico wasnt on sky? I turned sky on and it was the second half ffs.
Also Toure not starting. Maybe getting him isnt so far fetched.
November 29, 2009 at 19:21
how much did he cost david
November 29, 2009 at 19:21
We are being nice one here………
Today was FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m dreading walking into my office full over Chavs tomorrow…….
Just not good enough. I looked at our bench today when we went 2 down and i thought: ‘all good…. we’ve got Walcott’….. more fool me. It’s a squad game, and when it comes down to it. we’ve not got the squad…….
Devestating…. i’m totally gutted. Litterally can’t believe we got done 3 nothing…..
Fuck the ref desicions, fuck any luck. We weren’t good enough.
Roll on the FA cup : (
November 29, 2009 at 19:22
I think we need a GK. And a big Strong CF.
But for me except the ACN does us a favor. It doesnt look too good.
November 29, 2009 at 19:22
We’ll no doubt see Chamalackadingdong in January now.
I’d rather see Villa.
November 29, 2009 at 19:22
Almunia was absolute shite today. At fault for the og and last goal. He was in no mans land for both. Fucking idiot!
November 29, 2009 at 19:24
If someone offered me the Carling Cup and third place now, i’d bite their hands off.
November 29, 2009 at 19:24
I must to say that I’m disappointed… I don’t know what Carlos Vela want to show us? I have bad feelings about him…when I watch his game I think he is too selfish to play in Arsenal:( That’s all about Mr. Vela.
Let’s talk about game. Derby of London show us two great teams, best quality technique and fast action. I shouldn’t talk to much about slowly ball because there was nothing like that. Our defence pass test but unfortunatly Vermaelen’s foot slip out from the ball. Sometimes the greates make mistakes but there will be no mistakes when there will be no work.
November 29, 2009 at 19:24
well said stu!!
November 29, 2009 at 19:25
I think he cost like 25 mill choy
At least he scores free kicks?
November 29, 2009 at 19:25
You what pisses me off is that Wenger has the team thinking that they play the best football in Europe so all we have to do is turn up hit “green lights” and we win game. This mindset is seriously flawed.
November 29, 2009 at 19:25
David – I mean’t since van Persie was injured, Bendtner might play up front, keep looking for an argument if you want though.
November 29, 2009 at 19:26
Here is my list to go out:
Denilson, Almunia, RVP , Rosicky (5,1,10,5)
Ins
David Villa, Silva, Inler/Yaya, Chamakh(25,25,10,8)
Will cost = 47
Without that scal of change we are not going to have a squad good enough to stay out of medical room, nor we are going to have a squad good enough to show some pride when they are shoved around like jack asses on the field.
November 29, 2009 at 19:27
Yeah Baxter not sure about Chamakh.
Id rather see Dzeko. Chamakh is African isnt he?
November 29, 2009 at 19:27
Basically, no matter who we buy they have to be big. Our tallest outfielder today was Song. They (and most premiership teams) had a team full of tough physical players who wouldnt get knocked off the ball…ever.
A new keeper, defender because no matter how much we kid ourselves the Gallas-Vermaelen partnership isnt as good as we think and a physically inposing midfielder.
November 29, 2009 at 19:29
David, Chamakh is Moroccan.
November 29, 2009 at 19:30
Loïc Remy (The Saviour) is on his way…
And the best part is, he is not Cup-tied for the CL…
November 29, 2009 at 19:30
Gallas-Vermaelen partnership isnt as good as we think
MM not exactly, Vermaelen is not as good as we think in defense… shhhhhh
November 29, 2009 at 19:30
Yes I understand youre saying Bendtner upfront will win us a tittle. Ok thanks. I’ll move on now.
November 29, 2009 at 19:31
Morocco hasnt qualified for the ACN i suppose
November 29, 2009 at 19:32
Maybe top 4 then? I think I can safely now say after watching our players huff and puff against ‘old timers’ and lose nearly every 50/50 and get literally blown off the ball….we wont win shit with a team of titches. Too small, too frail, far too lightweight.
Its no good being technically better if you are much more physically weaker, especially given that a season is just that, a long friggin time. We’ve already seen our technically gifted team lose way too many to injuries…
Disappointing reality check methinks. Now we all know we can’t win the league without buying, and not just 1 or two either, but a few, bigger, stronger and gifted players…
November 29, 2009 at 19:32
ikon
Vermalean is good enough…i just think he might be ” a bit short”
November 29, 2009 at 19:34
…and don’t forget that Chelsea will be without Drogba, Essien, Mikel & Kalou during January…
we will “only” be without Song & Eboué…
November 29, 2009 at 19:35
David
In the coming days we will see how short he is actually.
rumors are he is marginally below 6,
well i think he is deceptively tall
November 29, 2009 at 19:35
“but while we live through it, we’ll have to put up with an occasional arse fuck from Chelsea.”……what a load of horseshit….we got millions from kolo and Adebayor sale…..spend on quality or at least some toughness…
November 29, 2009 at 19:36
raynor
Completely agree with you. Denilson is such a light weight joke it isnt funny.
But i definately did see Drogba brush Song off the ball.
Song, Denilson, Traore.
November 29, 2009 at 19:36
We minus Song plus Denilson at this stage <<<<<< Chelsea with 9 men, that too without the goalie.
November 29, 2009 at 19:36
Dont forget either that the transfer ban has been liften and in January Chelsea will probably buy enough players so that they wont have to suffer if the ban is upheld eventually.
The chavs are gona spend big in the transfer window.
November 29, 2009 at 19:37
Chelsea have no fixtures of note during the ACN….its will not impact them one bit….
November 29, 2009 at 19:38
Traore just bounced off and rolled over like 4 times after he just went in and clashed with Drogba on the ball.
that was effing funny.
On the whole though Traore was better than most of our players.
November 29, 2009 at 19:38
Good big guys always beat the good little guys.
We’ve shipped 18 goals in 13.
There is something wrong with the defence despite TV and WG
November 29, 2009 at 19:39
Understandingly, emotions are running high.Do you really think RVP would have made a difference ? Eduardo has lost a yard, Rosicky is no way near match fit, and Walcott is a waste of space,as is Vela. Are we losing because we are lightweight ? or is it really that we can’t defend properly and Almunia will never give us the command of his area. The gap is as it was last season, and without a plan b and a few quality players we will remain fighting for forth.
The first 30 minutes we played beautiful football until the final third.Same old, same old.
Chelsea are the benchmark, and we are miles behind.
We
November 29, 2009 at 19:39
Pat: no we don’t need to try Walcott up front. ffs tell us which Champions League team tries out a youngster who can barely play at our level as striker and then has gone on to win things? This is not the reserves is it? If he wants to play striker maybe we should buy a proven striker who has trained in that position all hes life and send Theo on loan then he can then play a striker all he wants.
November 29, 2009 at 19:40
Ikon
Dream on
Wenger won’t spend 48 million
November 29, 2009 at 19:40
well its easy to conceed goals when you dont have a fucking keeper.
November 29, 2009 at 19:40
Sahara whats clearly wrong with our defence highlighted today is the keeper…fecking awful and no way a top team keeper…why didnt we buy Schwarzer who makes ours like like a duck with all the flapping he does….
November 29, 2009 at 19:41
David – snap!
November 29, 2009 at 19:42
Almunia is a fucking waste of space Mannone is better. Even fuucking ben foster is better. This was so obviously going to happen. They will walk the title.
November 29, 2009 at 19:42
To be fair Kelsey
I do think we are miles better than last season.
Obviously not good enough to win the tittle.
November 29, 2009 at 19:43
Kelsey
I do think we are ntoo lightweight. Against strong (and gifted) sides, we are always found wanting…Chelsea becoming an embarrasment to us now
November 29, 2009 at 19:46
if you take chelsea as the benchmark,we have shipped 7 goals at home to them in two successive games.that is really worrying.
November 29, 2009 at 19:47
Barcelona are without a doubt the best team in the world yet we’d do better against them than we did against Chelsea. They’re playing with 10 men, but it looks like they’re playing with 12
November 29, 2009 at 19:47
Arsene, think of us fans having to go into work tomorrow morning & put up with that Chav we all know – GET THE FUCKING CHEQUE BOOK OUT!!!
Even with RVP & Bendtner we’d have lost that as they know how to take chances. How much would it really cost to get Thierry & PV4 back for 18 months?
We lack both aggression & winners & have done for 4 years!!!!!

I don,t post as much these days as I am fed up with stating the bleeding obvious .
BUT !!!
team of 04 , seven players 6 ft plus who where winners !!!! and could be nasty . bring back keown and Grimandi / parlour.
VIEIRA, PIRES , BERGY, HENRY, FREDDIE , KEOWN, ETC
TODAY , techincaly superb but lightweight
CHELSEA POWER , PACE , CLINICAL
THE WAY WE WERE IN 04
WE ARE NO WHERE NEAR BUT WENGER IS IN DENIAL .
ALSO , look at the top prem goal scorers , when we won things HENRY was top with maybe Pires seventh
NOW ??????????????????????????????????????????????
Sign a fucking proper striker and a couple of phisical players who can go to Bolton in Jan and do the fucking business
!!
Thankyou for this avenue to vent Geoff
I know you are as as pissed off and share the same opinion as me ,
Jules
November 29, 2009 at 19:52
Wenger has lost his mind. It was clearly Eduardo who kicked the ball out of Cechs hands and yes, we do have something to be ashamed of. We were humiliated. We had about 5 shots on goal all game.
November 29, 2009 at 19:55
That is the first time i can remember leaving the stadium early as soon as the third went in,couldnt take anymore fuck it.Now i have to face the cunts at work tomorrow.
November 29, 2009 at 19:55
Just got back from the game, we missed a target striker today badly, lovely approach work but we needed height in there for crosses.
AW didnt play Theo bcuz he doesnt track fullback however Nasri had barely zero cutting-edge which Theo would have offered but SN let Cashley put in 2 crosses for the goal, i am sure AW regrets playing SN now.
Traore just not good enough, zero composure in the final-third and doesnt read danger enough, i have seen the replay but he didnt tuck when danger was the other side, he just stood there watching.
Overall dissapointing result but the performance wasnt too bad.
November 29, 2009 at 19:56
I’m the first to admit that ot doesn’t look good for our chances to win the league, but it’s not over till it’s over…
And we are through to the CL’s knockout stages, we are in the quarter-final of the League Cup and the F.A. Cup hasn’t even started yet…
The same way the players has to show strength and take one game at the time, we as fans has to do the same…
You never know in football, maybe Chelsea will have a dip in form, maybe rsenal will beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, we did it last season (after an offside goal from van Persie)…
Let’s not give up just yet…
But i WILL say this:
If we don’t win anything this season i REALLY think Wenger will either step aside, or start bringing in some big signings. He said that this team isn’t to be called “kids” anymore, meaning it’s now or never for them…
I really think so too, it’s now or never with this team…
If we don’t win anything, this is what will happen:
Fábregas will leave, Gallas will leave, Rosický will leave, Arshavin will leave, and if Wenger leaves, Denilson will be sold, Diaby will be sold, Bendtner will be sold, Vela will be sold, and Eduardo will be sold…
And then what will happen?
Well, another 2-3 years to construct a new team that will be able to fight for titles…if we’re lucky…
November 29, 2009 at 19:57
“Chelsea are the benchmark and we are miles behind”
Sad and bitter truth.
Top 4 place then, and a cup if we get favourable draws.
November 29, 2009 at 19:59
Thought the keeper was to blame for 2 goals as his positioning was shocking. Though not directly for blame for any goals, Denilson was as ineffective as he’s ever been and just got lost. Song actually was our best player in the first half, and apart from near the end when he started passing to his imaginary friend, Cesc was ok….
November 29, 2009 at 19:59
DIDNT TAKE THE Chavs 2/3 years to chalenge for the title ray?

@ Jules, please dont mention the invincibles in the same breath as the chavski’s team. The only thing they both had in common is height and strength thats it. We had more speed, better technique, better vision, better imagination in the final-third.
If you want AW to have a more physical team then say so but compare them to our great team
November 29, 2009 at 20:02
RAYGOONER
Here s a new concept , how about we buy two or three
quality signings that we have being saying on here for two fucking years that would complete this squad without all that stuff you say !!??
November 29, 2009 at 20:03
We do miss someone like Ray Parlour; English and passion for the game, never stops fighting for that ball.
November 29, 2009 at 20:04
Forget about players leaving. The players we have can stay as long as they are given their rightful places as strict backups.
But a new spine and just increase the size of the squad. Then we can get rid of the shit.
November 29, 2009 at 20:04
Oh i forgot Eduardo, he is badly suffering from lack of confidence on top of getting used to our new system.
May be we should try JET’s presence up there just to give us a base point bcuz against sunderland we could get behind there defence as well? anyone
November 29, 2009 at 20:06
Well to think that I risked watching the game on my virus filled computer and got that……….It surely hurts to be a gunner right now. This team I think is much better suited to La liga teams. If we were in that league we would be perennial contenders.
What is clearly obvious now is that, though much improved we are no where near as good as a title challenging side should be, and it has nothing to do with experience it has to do with personnel. We ARE too light weight.
Today we played with 3-4 classic number 10s or second strikers, ABSOLUTELY no one was leading the line. (CHAMACH or whoever in)
The greatest PL team ever was the Invincibles and that is the template that Wenger should be looking at to make us champions again. Big Powerful and Stylish all at the same time. I’m beginning to thin Wenger’s biggest mistake is dismantling that team as quickly as he did.
Gutted, we will have a say where the title ends up, but it sure as hell won’t be at the Emirates. This team needs more brawn (sp). Hell PV04 in.
November 29, 2009 at 20:07
Thats me done guys im physically, technically, mentally fucked off with AW and his broken promises! till next time addios!
November 29, 2009 at 20:07
Two points by those cunts at the mirror that I agree with;
With the possible exception of goalkeeper Hilario, all seven Chelsea substitutes could have made Arsenal’s first team. The others? Malouda, Zhirkov, Paulo Ferreira, Deco, Kalou – who cost over £50m – and Ballack, who came on a free. Come on Arsene, spend some cash or risk slipping even further behind when Chelsea, Spurs and City all splurge in January.
9) Arsenal have only allowed an incredibly stingy 41 shots on their goal this season. But they’ve conceded 18 goals. Shouldn’t they be looking at a long-term replacement for Manuel Almunia?
November 29, 2009 at 20:09
Supergunner, we wont qualify for europe with un-tested kids.
November 29, 2009 at 20:10
Let’s be honest, which players in this Arsenal team would another manager want to keep?
Fabrégas, Arshavin, van Persie, Sagna, Nasri, Clichy, Vermaelen, Gallas and maybe Walcott & Song, that’s it!
And if it were to come to that, another manager, only 2-3 of those players would want to still be here if Wenger leaves…
So, we are in a very difficult position, a very fragile position, Wenger has put every egg in one basket, and that basket being this team…
If he doesn’t win anything this season, the eggs will crack…
My God, i have never felt this negative before, i used to be the over optimistic guy, but even i have to admit, it doesn’t look good…
But as i am an optemist i will not give up just yet, i mean we haven’t played more than 1/3 of the season yet…
I’ll end with saying that i’d been sober for 7 years until this afternoon when i just couldn’t hold it anymore…
That says a lot about how i feel at the moment…
November 29, 2009 at 20:11
Stonroy
those stats back up what everyone is saying. We have a joker for a keeper. You need a presence there, and we aint got it…
November 29, 2009 at 20:13
We’re going to lose on Wednesday too. Roll on stoke
November 29, 2009 at 20:13
…and it took Chelsea 50 years to fight for the title…(lol)
November 29, 2009 at 20:14
Ray
We aren’t going to win the title. We now need to make sure we come 2nd. Its gonna be an almighty fight this year for the top 4 spots. Even the Spuds are looking far stronger up fron than we are…more ropey defence than ours.

I understand that you are hurting but you are talking rubbish unless thats sarcasm. The actual performance wasnt that bad, we just physcality to make our crosses more dangerous. Missing Diaby, RVP & Bendy at same time has been a true bummer for us.
November 29, 2009 at 20:15
two big tests failed in the last week…..away to a mid table team up north in winter…FAILED….at home against one of the big boys….FAILED! ok we move on but expectations lowered AGAIN!….same old failings……one point…DENILSION IS ALWAYS OUTMUSCLED against the Chavs….yet again!…MOTD will go to town on us…and rightfully so..
November 29, 2009 at 20:15
So is Eduardo the new Ade then?
How many times was he offsides?
November 29, 2009 at 20:17
Arsene is a fucking twat, blaming the disallowed goal then saying we have nothing to be ashamed of.
He is living in la la land now, and he’s so untouchable he has no motivation to win anymore.
November 29, 2009 at 20:17
Eduardo’s head was’nt right….his attitude is ok as opposed to Adebayor
November 29, 2009 at 20:18
I say Bring in Gus Hiddink till for a couple years till Keown or DB10 are ready to take over.
November 29, 2009 at 20:18
Gazidis and Kronke have to be looking at where this team is going for the next few years…
November 29, 2009 at 20:19
Really?
I thought both Eduardo and Arshavin looked farking lazy today.
Eduardo was the one just offsides.
November 29, 2009 at 20:19
I know that wenger won’t buy any player in January for the sack of the development of song denilson diaby … But I think we need badly a striker and a dm:
villa dzeko gignac (dzeko won’t play cl)
toulalan sissoko mdiarra gago
and we need a cb that is bigger than gallas
November 29, 2009 at 20:19
I wouldnt say Stoke is a guaranteed win for us either.
Maybe getting outclassed by Chelsea was what we needed.
Will Wenger finally buy some players? I personally hope he does “kill” some of our “kids” they are mostly shit.
Confidence in the team must be at rock bottom, I could see us losing to pretty much anyone at the moment.
We just are not good enough.
November 29, 2009 at 20:20
Not a bad idea at all David. Guus won the FA cup for the chavs and wasnt even there a full season.
If Wenger is to stay on then he needs to be forced to get in a defensive coach and physical players who dont get bullied at home.
November 29, 2009 at 20:20
There is some massive overraction here by usual suspects
November 29, 2009 at 20:22
Maybe its just people facing the nasty truth supergunner. We got spanked 3 nil at home. should people be pleased about that?
November 29, 2009 at 20:23
Agree with GM confidence must be fairly low even amongst the youth team that will deploy against City.
An impassioned plea to Mr Wenger please buy two proven quality players in the next transfer window or find employment elsewhere.
November 29, 2009 at 20:23
FFS Supergooner….we got steamrolled 3-0 be Chelsea at home and the sad thing is it was predictable when we saw the team…..Essien/Lampard vs. Song/Denilson….give me a F***kin break…..overreaction is an understatement….tell me where do you see this team going???
November 29, 2009 at 20:24
at least the fans are overreacting….more then the F***kin team anyway..

Blames decisions as usual.
only chance is that chelsea slip up when they go off to ACON but highly unlikely, look at the fixtures they have.
Denilson should have never started, just like in the FA cup semis. Out muscled and out powered by their midfield.
November 29, 2009 at 20:25
Gambon said it perfect earlier
“This chelsea team is miles ahead of us.
Just as good upfront and 10x the team we are in defence.”
Its as simple as that
November 29, 2009 at 20:25
Brilliant.
Wenger shouldve taken the Madrid job.
He’s fantasy world is in la liga where football isnt a contact sport.
Its more swimming than football.
November 29, 2009 at 20:26
Gretting sick of the “chelsea will struggle during ACN” stuff.
No they wont.
November 29, 2009 at 20:29
let me explain something to you guys…
Why i try to be so optemistic is cause of my personal situation…
I’m over my neck in debts (£120,000 to be exact), i’m currently living alone (my wife left me 1 year ago), i hate my job, i’m having trouble with my back (gonna have a sugery next month), i barely have any friends at all, my only joy in life is “The Arsenal”…
So for me, i’m happy with just being able to get to see them every week on TV, it’s the high-light of the week for me…
Of course i feel bad when they lose, but at least i get some excitement during the game…
So, that’s why i want to be optimistic everytime, i will never stop being so…
Today might be the most pesimistic i’ve been about Arsenal ever!
But i still think we can win something this season, i have to believe it, otherwise i could just stop living, what would be the point?
If we don’t win anything this season, i will try to find the positive things and move on to the next season, what else can you do?
So, a word of advice, keep the faith, if the Arsenal fans of the hopeless 1972-1988 seasons could survive, so can we…
November 29, 2009 at 20:30
Juss wonder if we practice so much passing during training.
How were we so shite today in the final third ffs.
I thought venting was going to help but its not ffs.
Time for Bed.

supergunner- and why are people over-reacting? Everyone here is entitled to their own opinion. you think JET might be the answer, I think we got exactly 0% chance of winning the league as Chelsea just won at a canter without playing well at all. More frustrating that for all our lovely passing, we had no cutting edge, we weren’t clinical in the slightest.
I have to say I agree with the usual suspects right now, and that AW’s fondness for small (in some cases tiny) fragile, lightweight players in going to really disadvantage us in the Worlds toughest league.
Yes sometimes we win so convinicingly you’d never notice a size difference, but its a whole load of games, and you can’t play like that every game. It only takes a couple of players out for us, and that’s the wind from our sails.
As mentioned countless time already, we have no PV4, no Bergkamp (who always gave as good as he got), no Henry and on and on….
We are better than last year (just) but a few furlong’s behind our best team of the decade, and Chelseas current side.
Lets keep positive though. We can qualify for the the ECL if we pull our finger out…And maybe AW can start to see that we are not gonna win anything away from Chelsea, not now, and not for at least 4 or 5 new players

Get yourself a lady friend. At least someone to “talk” to.

Colonel and AA23, go and read my original comment, i just got back from the game, approach play we better but we lacked cutting edge bcuz of no height in the frontline however they defended better than us as a team. It wasnt all bad, i am not happy too but keep perspective instead losing your marbles and not looking at things objectively

November 29, 2009 at 20:35
SuperGunner. stop please stop. Passing the ball in nice little patterns does not equate to us playing “Not too bad” cos “not too bad” ain’t that good either and you get your Arsenal wooped by a real team.
The end game is scoring goals from where I was positioned it did not look like we were going to do that. Our mindset is to play our own game Chelsea mindset is to win the game at all costs.
November 29, 2009 at 20:36
@ AA@23
……getting outclassed by Chelsea is what we needed to buy in January’. I’m absolutely sure that was what we all were saying after we went through that horrid run at the end of last season culminating with the 4-1 loss to Chelsea.
I’m no Wenger out advocate, but at some point he has to just fuck off with his pet project. It belies belief that as good as we are we can’t even match Man utd, a team currently relying on a couple of 36 yr olds for inspiration after their hero left and with a couple average twats that just foul for fun.
Chelsea are well ahead of the field but we can’t even seem to match probably the weakest United team in years.
November 29, 2009 at 20:36
One or two of you need to actually go watch a game occassionally. We didn’t lose this game in Midfield.
We lost it up front and in defence.

I still can’t understand how chelsea get there players not to play the internationals pretending injury and we don’t. I mean y not. It was shame today we rly sould have won the sunderland game.
Now the boys got to regain there best form, get nasri sicky denilson and edy to full fitness and let the chav chase begin. We can still deliver and it would be much more easier with 1 or 2 signings. I belive arsene will sign tho
November 29, 2009 at 20:38
Supergunner….our tactics were wrong, we need to invite them on and break at pace with that team today…..watch Barca tonight as an example of skill and attitude……our boys have the skill but no guts. no good enough by a mile. it was bad, very bad…..alway a false start with this team…the fans have had enough of the same mistakes with the same players…
November 29, 2009 at 20:38
YEAH, That’s all have to say (i.e. I agree with everyone).
Oh, and why is Wenger buying so many short players, what happened to the athletic beefy players he used buy? I’m 5′5 = average height for girls; not that much shorter than some of the AFC first team and is not really enough to compete with the height of other teams around 6′. We need a mix like Barcelona, God!!! I’m soooooo fed up, 0-1 or 1-1 or 2-2 I could accept BUT 0-3 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I work in West London so gonna have to face all the Chavs tomorrow; just gonna have to take it on the chin, smile and grit my teeth and say ‘ you’re so right’……

BW – I thought 2nd half without Song, we were noticeably weaker though. Song has defo put a lot of distance between him and Denilson.
If we are going to play with a Denilson type, can’[t we just get a better player as he really sin’t that good right now. I do realise he’s had some time out, but he ain’t improving obviously like Song has and is…

You have just shown me you know nothing about tactics, look at teams who sit on the edge of their box to defend and break at speed [Current Man Ure team, Invincible team, Villa], they have lots of height in defence which our defence dont. We can use that tactic if we have right type of players
November 29, 2009 at 20:45
I did wonder too, why we kept crossing the ball. As if we are going to get anyone on the end of it against the Chelsea back 4? That just smacks of not having the confidence to win today…
November 29, 2009 at 20:45
Things we learned(Mirror):
Thomas Vermaelen was far from Arsenal’s worst player, and anyone might have struggled against Didier Drogba in that sort of form. But his edgy performance does reinforce the view long held by Ajax fans… that the stylish Dutchman is out of his comfort zone against big strikers who like to mix it.
The pre-season talk from Arsenal sources about Eduardo – that he was about to have a breakout season which would save the club millions in the transfer market – had quietened before the game and will be virtually silent now. Although the Croatian can’t be blamed for struggling after in juries forced him into a line-leading role he is totally unsuited to, the Gunners did improve greatly after he was substituted.
You didn’t have to watch Arsenal’s disallowed goal five times, like certain obsessive French managers, to realise it should have stood. You don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to believe that Petr Cech – who never had the ball under control – tends to get the benefit of the doubt in these situations because of the headgear he has worn for nearly three years now. No-one is doubting Cech has to wear it, but its presence must have some sort of impact, even if it is subconscious, on referees.
Arsenal have only allowed an incredibly stingy 41 shots on their goal this season. But they’ve conceded 18 goals. Shouldn’t they be looking at a long-term replacement for Manuel Almunia?
Manchester City fans have been complaining about their string of seven straight draws. Well, help is at hand. City play Chelsea next weekend and they won’t be drawing then…

Hopefully that day will come before i’m a senior citizen…

@ Baxter Wall
One game does not a season make. We played them off the park yes, but they have been performing better in the league so far have they not. That is what I mean.
At the very least we should be competig with them for 2nd place and although not far behind them on the table, I doubt we will even do that.
November 29, 2009 at 20:48
Guys. You seam to forget that AA and Nasri was totaly awful today (as at sunderland). Dont think Nasri, Walcott or Eduardo is close to playing in a premiership wining side…
November 29, 2009 at 20:49
I thought the game was more open second half Pedro, but we were more cohesive when Song played and I am not a song tinted kinda person. I’ve actually only started to think he’s good enough to command a place in the first team. What I do like about him, is he is getting tactically better.
As always we are all entitled to our own opinions. And mine is Denilson was pretty poor today and offered us nothing. Not great at defending, weak on the ball, doesnt win challenges, and offered nothing going forward.

November 29, 2009 at 20:51
As Pedro rightly points out, we were dominant in possession w/out really threatening. Meanwhile Chelsea had a few chances and scored 3 goals. End offf no excuses. Still a long way behind.
November 29, 2009 at 20:51
We missed the physical presence of Diaby, Bendy and RVP bcuz they are our tallest players
November 29, 2009 at 20:53
Supergunner, I still think you’re wrong.
Why would height determine that tactic? Song is supposed to be amazing in the air. Vermaelen is supposed to have the best jump in the game and Gallas is hardly a mug when it comes to defending.
Pace would determine whether counter attacking football would work.
November 29, 2009 at 20:54
we need to start asking ourselves a few questions.
firstly when will we defend as a team? that was too easy for chelsea. they hardly had the ball but whenever they did they were through us like a knife through butter. players like Nasri, Arsh and Theo offer no protection whatsoever. can these players learn to offer protection? its pretty basic stuff really. I am sure all it would take is a few words on the training pitch.
secondly, do we have enough physical presence up front without RVP? its clear we dont and the only other player who offers anything in this area is Nik Bentdtner. we do need to buy in January.
arshavin and Eduardo have been very disappointing of late. first touches have been terrible, and you dont get away with it at this level.
November 29, 2009 at 20:55
Supergunner, Diaby has virtually no physical presence. He is just tall… the same goes for Bendtner and RvP… they’re hardly in Drogba’s league are they?

This is not me trying to gang up on a player to assign blame because I’m gutted, but I’ve NEVER really fancied Nasri. NEVER. I honest to God don’t know how some of you lot love him. He is over average for sure and he certainly has his moments but he has never really done it for me. He has yet to play 90 mins worth of football in a red and white shirt, always flickering in and out of games. Just my opinion on him.

Question 1. Why was Ashley Cole allowed free reign down his wing?
Quesion 2. Why lump pointless balls into the box?
Question 3. Why leave the Chelsea midfield free reign? Lampard and Essien dominated with ease.
November 29, 2009 at 20:59
i said after United played Chelsea, that to stop Chelsea you must stop their fullbacks. That is the very first thing United focused on. They made the field very narrow and completely nullified Cashley and Ivanovic. Cashley got 2 assists today and had a world class display.
I’m not THAT impressed with Chelsea now that I have calmed down. I mean, they were absolute shit offensively no matter which way you look at it. In our 4-3-3 and in Barca’s 4-3-3 the CF is probably the most important player. RVP was injured for us. barca were pretty pathetic up front until Ibra came on. We need that link up player there and I cannot wait for Bendtner to get back as he is the only replacement for RVP. He has a shot as well, at least he does when he used it for Denmark.
Verm thought Gallas was going to clear the ball, I believe. Sagna let Cashley cross too easily/gave him too much room. Nasri didn’t track back and help Sagna all that much. If Theo started, Cashley wouldn’t be attacking as much imo.
Since fabianski is back, hopefully he’ll start now. We’ve only allowed 41 shots this season and 18 goals went in. That points to the keeper, not to the defense imo.
I’m not expecting our youngsters to beat City in midweek unless City rest players for Chelsea.
Who do we play next weekend?
November 29, 2009 at 21:00
I dont want to blow smoke up chelsea’s arse but they defend so brilliantly. I haven’t seen a team defend like a unit as well as chelsea in recent weeks for many years. the old old arsenal and maybe Mourinho’s first chelsea side came close, but this chelsea side is about there.
then you look at their strikers, and they dont have a bad midfield either and I can quite easily see them winning the PL at a canter. we lost to the champions today.
Arsenal need to think about how we can get into second place and win a cup (probably means avoiding chelsea all season!).

Thats what is so annoying, NOT everyone can be as strong as Drogba.
In essence we play 4-2-3-1 and when had a decent run, the 2 in that formations were Song(6ft), Diaby(6ft 2) thus it gives height balance and tactical option if the strikers are struggling aerially. Watch the games closely when goal-kicks are taken AW sometimes uses Diaby to do the flick-ons
November 29, 2009 at 21:02
Chelsea did not dominate the midfield until late in the game, when the 3rd goal came.
They have more drive, but we definitely dominated midfield, as any team will if they play this style of football.
Problem was that we didn’t create and thats a worry. The 3 conceded goals don’t worry me, at all actually. They were all a bit flukey. I doubt Drogba meant to score his first goal the way he did. The OG hit post/bar as well.
Wenger is right, everything went for them, but that is no excuse. We must work for our luck.
Song had a great game and I hope he’s not injured.
November 29, 2009 at 21:04
Diaby in the air…..god help us..
November 29, 2009 at 21:05
And credit to Chelsea. That was the most passionate, hard-working, and effective defensive display I have seen for a long, long time. Arsenal’s famous back 4 quality right there.
Ashley Cole is world class and he’s an Arsenal lad. If we weren’t stingy fucks he might have still been playing for us. Love him or hate him, he destroyed us.

Q1. Like i said before AW didnt play Theo even though he would have given us more cutting edge from the start but didnt bcuz SN can track runners better however SN didnt do his job offensively and defensively.
Q2. I agree what we should have done more is shooting from outside the box to drag the defence out which them creates the option for ball over-the-top for forward runners.
Q3. I think in patches yes they but only really towards the end did the dominates, in terms of approach-play we played well but in both boxes we lost it.
Hope that helps u
November 29, 2009 at 21:07
we got Stoke at home next and then Liverpool away!
I agree that Nasri is not really finding a niche in this team. he didn’t push cole back at all. Theo, while his final ball was poor, look at the effect on cole. He simply would not go forward for fear of the pacey counter attack.
Hindsight is always easy but had theo started you wouldn’t have seen cole creating those 2 goals.
I would probably try and keep song and cesc in the middle and add Rosicky rather than Den or Nasri. Then go with Theo on the right, Vela or Arsh on the left and either Vela or Bendtner (when fit) as centre forward. I see that as our strongest team right now.
November 29, 2009 at 21:08
I cant blame the likes of Nasri, Arshvin or Rosicky. Its not their fault they are small. They are excellent players but need some beef alongside them to excel.
Its the managers job to create a balanced team & balanced squad. We have too many similar type players of similar stature. This is where we are (or rather Wenger) is going wrong. Its so obvious. Is there no one else at AFC who can see this? Even our defenders are tiny.
We could do with a couple of modern day David Rocastle, Michael Thomas, Patrick Viera, Manu Petit, Paul Davis, or even Ray Palour.

No matter what you guys tell me, I will not believe that Drogba meant to put that ball in the top corner for the 1st goal.
Its easier to just tap it in really, either side. In my eyes, he shanked it a bit and it fortunately for Chelsea, it went in. Why the hell would a striker attempt to pull that off when its much harder than just tapping it in?
November 29, 2009 at 21:15
its not necessarily how good Nik is, its more how important he is. same as Song. not the most talented player in the world but Arsenal dont need 11 tiny tricky mega talented players. all teams need a balance between big and small, defensive and offensive.
Arsenal currently are too samey all over the pitch. we miss Bendtner massively purely because he offers something different.
I recommend anyone to watch the Final Word bit on Sky about Arsenal. Andy Gray showed exactly why Cole was able to get those 2 crosses in unopposed.
It had nothing to do with needing ‘beef’. Arsh was at fault for the first one and Nasri the second. they both got sucked into situations that weren’t their business when they should have been marking Cole. If they position themselves right, cole simply cannot get the ball. its schoolboy stuff really.
November 29, 2009 at 21:15
Pat, he looked to play it across goal… it doesn’t matter how it went in…
November 29, 2009 at 21:16
Yes, AA has had a lethargic mood about him for some months now, but we can’t talk about it because it will only re-enforce Wenger’s belief that if you spend a lot on a player and he doesn’t quite deliver then you look like a twat. The risk is too gr8.
Now more than ever we need him to buy we can’t allow that thought to cross his senile mind.

November 29, 2009 at 21:24
I don’t see how anyone who was at the game could claim we were dominated in midfield because we just weren’t.
We play 433 when we have the ball and 451 when we don’t, our problem was that our two wide players were not getting back often enough and it left Sagna in particular exposed.
They had better defenders especially at centre back and a better centre forward, i’ll give you that all day but not central midfield, we were not dominated there.
November 29, 2009 at 21:24
I dont want wenger to buy any more players like Arsahvin. I dont care how close they are to being the best in the world. we need to buy some big hard working players to compete with the chelsea’s of this world. chelsea are on another level to everyone else defensively speaking. and throughout history the best defence generally wins the trophies.
players like lansbury would never ever have let cole get in that easy today. these are young players at Arsenal that are willing to put a shift in defensively (thanks to Bouldy?). there are a few coming through that could be important additions to our team.
November 29, 2009 at 21:25
Puyol was an absolute beast for Barcelona today. I wish we had players who actually love the club.
November 29, 2009 at 21:26
Pat:the reason A. Cole had a good game was because that hair brain nutter Sanga was galloping down the wing every two seconds like See The Stars only for wanting to cross the ball to 4ft midgets.
We played with two wide-ish men who never got the ball wide because they were tucked inside where Lumpard Essien and rest were lying in wait. A stoopid tactic that probably is not even a real tactic as Wenger believes all we need to do to win the game is pass and move.
Super: What decent run, are we a top 4 side looking to win the thing or not? A decent run includes winning in the tougher games.
November 29, 2009 at 21:31

Diaby gives physical balance to the opposition teams, like the one against Manures. What a shame,we have a couple of wankers, who would never get selected to any top four team apart from us,in Europe.
November 29, 2009 at 21:34
Atleast We’ll Be First On Match Of The Day Today……..
Let No One Write Us Off Yet,There’s Still More Than 90 Points Up For Grab,Anything Can Happen.There@s Definately A Time Chelsea Will Have A Bad Run,We Have To Make Sure We Capitalize On That.
November 29, 2009 at 21:36
Puyol is Catalan…..big difference….these kids are not born and bred in London…
November 29, 2009 at 21:36
Well what a fucker that was. Too nervous and panicky around the box again, as we are always are against the top sides.
November 29, 2009 at 21:37
Is anyone in this team good enough…..lol
we need a night to sleep on it. This post mortem is going over board. Soon Fab4 will classed as ‘not good enough’
November 29, 2009 at 21:38
I don’t believe Chelsea will have a bad run. A bad odd game maybe but not a run. They’re the Champions elect, the rest of us are playing for second place and I think we’re probably good enough for 2nd or 3rd.
We’re better than last season. Sadly so are Chelsea and they were already better than us then.
November 29, 2009 at 21:38
Paulinho/ Think that a lot has to do with unsecurity of Al…
November 29, 2009 at 21:39
Where are the AKBs A and Mayank? They would be rehearsing the lines to blame the referees for tomorrows post.
November 29, 2009 at 21:44
Swed, I meant more in an offensive sense; we panick around the box and pass it off too quickly when we should relax and be more individual. It’s clear the players have a mental block against Chelsea and think their defenders are invincible, when in fact they’re not, if only we just went for it more.
Jag; A will still claim John Terry is shit and has no technnique etc.
November 29, 2009 at 21:46
What is obvious is that for all of Wenger’s talk of belief this team has none when it is up against it and that the truth.
November 29, 2009 at 21:49
never has Van persie been missed more….he loves playing against them….f**kin dutch and pointless friendlies..
November 29, 2009 at 21:50
Paulinho/ Ok, Maybe we cant blame Al for that:-)
I think that we belive that our players are invinceble because we can beat Blackburn at home. BUT in reality they are´nt, when they met god defenders we al se that clearly!
November 29, 2009 at 22:03
Paulinho nail on head mate. It is why I and others advocated getting in a worldy striker. But all we got is Eduardo this Eduardo that. I have seen enough of to judge that he is not good enough to play in a Champions League team. I will be shocked if he scores more than 8 league goals this season or any other for that matter.
AA needs players who are on the same wave length or even same pitch. That’s quick decisive and efficient one, two touch point and shoot type offensive football the very type of football Wenger tutors but unfortunately we don’t have the Personnel.
November 29, 2009 at 22:06
What a load of crap that was.
November 29, 2009 at 22:08
Anyone see Huntelaar’s 2 goals in added time? Milan won 2-0 away. First was a nice finish and 2nd was world class.
I think this will kick start his Milan career.
November 29, 2009 at 22:12
i feel its was pretty clear we were missing a target man and yes i have to say i was very disapointed with performances of edwardo aa and nasri, vela has a long way to go bcause f the lack phsycal presence meant it was very all on the deck no airial attacks could have done brentna,i feel this teams defence is not bad but as a team the mentality is to svore than opsition but chelsea defence was scary 8 goals for season so far.i see nothing wroung with our centre backs but a team they dont defend well enough
November 29, 2009 at 22:14
I think not. Hunter is beyond over-rated. Real madrid bought him because of panic buying after realizing horse face would miss the entire season and Milan bought him because he had a big-ish name and they needed to appeasee the fans after the sale of Kaka and the failures of landing Dzeko and Fabiano.
November 29, 2009 at 22:14
I just wish Wenger saw how Utd approached Chelsea. Shut down the fullbacks and you shut down the team, simple. They’re not technically good enough to go through the middle, especially when its crowded.
After the Chelsea-Utd game, thats the first thing I said and for some reason, we didn’t set out to stop this.
2 goals before HT were crucial and it was game over then
November 29, 2009 at 22:16
Huntelaar had a very respectable scoring record with madrid, when he almost never started.
He had a good game today and the 2nd goal was Marco Van Basten-esque
November 29, 2009 at 22:16
And after all, Huntelaar is a confidence player
November 29, 2009 at 22:20
I have to say that Almunia is absolutely crap. I reckon my mum could do better than that prick.
November 29, 2009 at 22:22
This is AWs response
On possibly buying players in January…
“I believe I would rather have all of our players back. I am not in a mood tonight to say straight away after the game that I would buy players. We have to deal with the disappointment, and respond to that massive disappointment we had today and try to win our next game. It’s as simple as that.”
November 29, 2009 at 22:24
In other words he’ll buy fuck all.
November 29, 2009 at 22:25
Hit the nail on the head AA23
November 29, 2009 at 22:29
Just listened to Arsene’s full press conf on ArseTV…he was asked a question about Carling Cup and he just dismissed it a not a priority and the kids will play. I am afraid we might as well get used to winning nothing with that attitude, while I agree with playing kids in early rounds and home matches I think the first team need to win a trophy or they will never taste it and want it.
He was also asked if this season mirrors last and he just kept saying we can’t change peoples minds about us.
I DON’T GET IT ANYMORE!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 22:30
Pat, got a clip of his goals? Its about time he scored for them too. Its been more than 3 months after all.
November 29, 2009 at 22:31
Wenger is probably just not in a mood to argue about anything. Todays match was just depressing.
November 29, 2009 at 22:32
I would rather have all the players back…for 1 game before 13 of them get injured again… I would like to see that for another 2 years, then I’ll leave.
- Wenger
November 29, 2009 at 22:33
Femster
Everyone today has being saying we “we lack winners”. Maybe if we picked a decent team for the cc and actually won a trophy for a change, it might help us to win the epl and cl in years to come.
November 29, 2009 at 22:40
how do we feel about getting kicked out of the CC next Wednesday?
same old Wenger, same old crap
humiliation after humiliation
does this man have no pride?????????
November 29, 2009 at 22:41
Paul,
I totally agree, I am sick of getting to November getting knocked out of CC, being 11 points behind and then having nothing to play for. Don’t the club get it we don’t wanna get to Nov and not wanna watch MOTD anymore its not fair.
Also is it a coincidence that France are wack and 2 of their back 4 play for Arsenal…Just a thought!
November 29, 2009 at 22:43
Yes I have pride
- Wenger
November 29, 2009 at 22:43
Yes, France are wack
-Wenger
November 29, 2009 at 22:43
Agree, I even got excited about winning the emirates cup. That’s as good as it gets now, pathetic really.
November 29, 2009 at 22:44
I almost bought Drogba once
-Wenger
November 29, 2009 at 22:47
Cracking 2nd goal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TC0IxwUqlLk
November 29, 2009 at 22:57
sometimes if you give credit were its due and its clear chelsea take pride in the fact they can keep a clean sheet and in this game they were extremly impressive we hardly had 1 shot goal, gallas and vern were pretty good but sagna was pretty poor today but realy its not an indivual thing as a team this team is that bad defensively but chelsea are alot better.and when i look chelsea defence they will drop a few points but not that many, but today players like aa edwardo nasri were very very disapointing particualy edwrado and aa and big problem i have is if manu can handle being without huge players like rinando and tevez why cant we handle being without rvp when you are without a big player like that you fight alot more to keep clean sheet i dont see that in this team both manu and chelsea but not this team.the team is not bad but improvements are needed are target man is realy needed could have with brentna, but they need to fight more for the clean sheet because i know we can defend well if they wont to
November 29, 2009 at 23:06
After today, anyone deluded enough to think we can win the league?
It was all over hyped media bollocks… We laugh at scousers/yids, but we’ve lost 4 games this season. 2 of those games against title rivals….
We simply are not good enough.
The second half today we played the way Chelsea wanted us to. We couldn’t break them down.
Other point being, WE ARE A FUCKING HOME TEAM AND WE’RE PLAYING WITH 5 IN MIDFIELD!
So frustrating.
We turned over a shit Belgian side during the week after a dismal performance against Sunderland…
How long do we put up with “A DEVELOPING YOUNG SIDE?”
Unfortunately the Chelski fans got it right… 5 years and we’ve won fuck all.
November 29, 2009 at 23:08
Bollocks to all this buying forwards etc its been said many times that in the tight games against top drawer defences we need to rely on our own defence. Sagna and Clichy are not good enough but that cunt in goal is a disgrace.
I done myself to death on the so called keeper over the past few years and Stonroy pulled a stat I have been asking the Coco lovers to give. Shots on target to goals conceded. Do the 2 shots that hit the post and bar in midweek get addded to the list.
Strikers pull the trigger on him because they know how easy it is to score and our defenders score own goals because they are nervous with the twat in goal.
Arsene get a fucking keeper in January any fucking keeper bar Fat bollocks Robinson. Anyone will be better than this awful Spanish fucking Tapas bar waiter Coco the fucking clown cunt. At least mannone is still only young, this prick is 32 years of age and never has been any good.
FFS we could have even been Euro Champions if it were not for this cunt doing Bambi impressions.
If Arsene really thinks he is world class then Arsene certainly doesn’t know. I played with and against better than him many years ago on the Marshes.
Arsenal don’t do getting thrashed and in recent years we have had many embarrasing beatings.
November 29, 2009 at 23:12
End of the season? I think so. Wenger is always going to try and out play in football with other teams. Like a lot of everyone was saying when you leak goals easy at the back it can always cause you problems. Out goes Vp for ever and no replacements that can play football you stop scoring goals. Critical time for Aw now, is he going to shut down the midfield and play Denilson and Song in midfield? Will Vela and Theo live up to what they are paid for and come through? And we still haven’t had an injury at the back. Bad times Gooners.
November 29, 2009 at 23:14
Two final words on todays game “TOTAL HUMILIATION”
cheers !!!!!!!!
November 29, 2009 at 23:17
Its groundhog day, again
November 29, 2009 at 23:20
Hate these people who knock the Hunter who probably have never seen him play. The guy scores goals and since football began thats how you win matches.
Bobby Wilson,Jimmy Rimmer,Johnny Lukic,David Seaman, Mad Jens Lehman. Must be chuckling watching the imposter masquerading as a goalkeeper.
Sack Gerry Payton too as his coaching is pathetic.
Lets have Seaman train the keepers with Keown Bouldy and DB10 added to coaching the 1st team. I bet they will smaten up very quickly.
November 29, 2009 at 23:22
lol the over reaction on here when we lose really is laughable. The total lack of perspective is amazing, it’s embarrassing to be a gooner when looking at fellow arsenal fans at times!
Today was shit, but not the end of the world, it wasn’t total humiliation, it didn’t show us to not be good enough, it was a shit loss, that’s it, if we’ve made up two points between now and the end of February we’ll win the league at a canter
November 29, 2009 at 23:23
El Tel Huntelaar isn’t nearly good enough for us, not in a million years, awesome in a shite league, crap in a good league.
November 29, 2009 at 23:24
A you are talking bullshit how can you say that wasnt humiliating?
November 29, 2009 at 23:25
Huntelaar was amazing in Holland, shite in Spain (don’t let the goals/game stats fool you, ask any Madrid fan, or anyone who follows the Spanish League closely, or even just go and look at how he did with more detail, and you’ll see he really was pants there, and he’s been shocking at Milan, so crap in fact that Boriello is chosen over him!
November 29, 2009 at 23:26
The scoreline is humiliating reggie, that’s the only thing that is
November 29, 2009 at 23:27
El Tel you were obviously working there in the rain, mate that was a lot of crap dished up to the fans by The Club. & you are right, The Spanish waiter must go.
November 29, 2009 at 23:28
Ill see you are wearing AWs glasses again cant you see that the fans are well and truly fucked off. LOL
November 29, 2009 at 23:29
Fabianski is number one now fit anyways, he’ll have till the new year at least to show he’s ready. He’ll start against City, then take the number one shirt against Stoke at home, and go from there. I have alot of belief in him, he’s very ready now and will make us alot stronger
November 29, 2009 at 23:29
i realy dont agree with comments taht arsenal were not in the title race we had an out side chance of winning it we need a plan b attack sometimes and both brentna and rvp could provide because of the phsycal presence can be used target man aa,edwrado, vela, theo are supporting strikers,a good defence always beats a good ofence no matter what sport and pretty clear clean sheets is not that importantt just as long as you score more goals and that very bad thing and any ambition of winning prem now or in the future it is vital they change that and fight more for the clean sheet
November 29, 2009 at 23:30
A
That Chelsea team is good enough to win The League, the CL, the FA Cup, & Carling Cup. That Arsenal performance won’t win even sympathy from me. The squad has been shown up over the last 2 fixtures as being lightweight & not up to winning a thing.
November 29, 2009 at 23:30
We have as much chance of winning the league as the tiny totts!!
November 29, 2009 at 23:31
yeah I can see that reggie, i’m very fucked off too! But not with wenger, or anyone at the club. I have the ability to control and objectively rationalise things, rather than just lash out when things go bad and lose control of my emotions, as so many seem to be unable to do!
We lost, everyone feels shit about it, the fans, the players, the managers, the coaching staff, but to take it out by being pissed off with any of the above and blaming people is just stupid imo
November 29, 2009 at 23:32
Whos to blame then A???
November 29, 2009 at 23:33
gnarley we’ll see. The last two games we havn’t created much, and they are a worry, but they’re just two games! If we get back the creativity and the way we created chances before the last two games, or even more so with Nasri, Rosicky, Theo, Vela back, then we’ll be in a very good position too. Chelsea have struggled to create chances and break down teams in more games than we have this season, and people are going very over the top with their praise and how highly they rate them imo
November 29, 2009 at 23:34
Chelski did their job and we didn’t.
Simple really and the excuse we didn’t have RVP, we’re a young developing side etc really doesn’t cut it anymore.
We lost to a better team, so what?
Keep on going till the end of the season and let’s see where it takes us.
November 29, 2009 at 23:34
Noone Reggie, sometimes you just lose games! It happens to everyone, but our blame culture means that if something doesn’t go according to plan we MUST blame someone, it MUST be someone’s fault
November 29, 2009 at 23:35
A;They did beat us 3-0 at home or am i dreaming!!
November 29, 2009 at 23:37
Ok then A lets continue to lose games and say its hard cheese then
November 29, 2009 at 23:37
If Chelsea win every game between now and the end of the season then I’ll start to think they’re the real deal. Up to now they’ve had two ridiculously lucky wins with a 95th minute Malouda winner, and a 93rd minute Drogba fluke cross, and lost to Villa and Wigan, looking shite in both games. They’re far from another level, just because they’ve played well for 3 or 4 matches
November 29, 2009 at 23:38
They looked the real deal today?
November 29, 2009 at 23:39
sorry, i meant now and the end of the year, not the end of the season!
November 29, 2009 at 23:39
As Robbie Earle said @ 0-2 down. Chelsea can play badly & still win. The Arsenal can play well & still lose. There is no doubt that the passing of The Arsenal was superior, but “results” is the yardstick IMO.
November 29, 2009 at 23:40
reggie big games are not where the league is won and lost.
They won 3-0 today, a terrible scoreline, they didn’t even create 3 clear goalscoring chances though, it wasn’t like they cut us to shreds, and it wasn’t like we didn’t have exactly the same chances! We just didn’t take ours, and they did, and we didn’t defend ours, and they did. The overall balance of the game we were far from well beaten, though it was comfortable in the end.
November 29, 2009 at 23:41
How many other teams have come to the emirates and dished out a 4-1 3-0 drubbing in consective games apart from the chavs!!
November 29, 2009 at 23:43
How many fuck ups did Eduardo have today. Unforgivable!
November 29, 2009 at 23:43
a your missing the point chelsea can score an early goal and know can hold onto that lead but this team would find it very difficult to that, this team need to defend as a team alot better, you cant keep going on the premise that you can out score your opision
November 29, 2009 at 23:44
I don’t blame Lehmann for his antics regarding Almunia. Almunia is a clown. Lost us the CL as well the cunt.
Chelsea will lose their flow. If not before the ACN, then definitely during it and after it.
November 29, 2009 at 23:45
IL leave it as that then just going round in circles cant blame anyone,no ones fault, chavs never had more than 3 clear cut chances!! good night!!
November 29, 2009 at 23:47
Some of us are deluding ourselves into thinking that we are still in with a chance after today. Instead of looking at Chelsea and wondering when they will drop points lets look at ourselves to next week when we face Hull city.
We are the most free-scoring team in the league so far this season and we couldn’t muster one goal today AT HOME. That is very telling and it doesn’t matter how many excuses we can cough up. Almunia this, van Persie that, Bendtner this, Song that, we were expertly contained on home turf and in truth rarely looked like scoring.
November 29, 2009 at 23:47
reggie
good night??? it was a absolutely horrid night/morning
But what is the worry is that nothing will change. & that is so frustrating.
November 29, 2009 at 23:50
well the masterplan has been exposed again.
wengers squad selection shown up again against a title contender , simply fucking clueless.
The seven dwarfs v men ,
what a joke, people that defend walcott, denilson, nasri, ,rosciky are dilusional
They are not good enough and worst for me in a derby game today, showed no fight for the cause , i can take it when players have a bad game but to play with no fight in a game like this is not acceptable .
the only good thing they did was give a days pay to gosh, now what they should do is give the rest of the kings ransom they earn to all the fans who paid today to watch this shower of shit play today,
and theo dont worry son, maybe you can stow away in shreks suitcase and get to south africa cause you wont get a sniff playing like you have been .
anD JUST TO BE CONSISTENT THE CLOWN IN GOAL REMINDS US HOW FUCKING SHIT HE REALLY IS.
fucking hell i remember seeing jennings, lukic, seaman ,in goal even the mad german had a consistency about him .
November 29, 2009 at 23:50
Nah gnarley i meant im turning in for the night mate !!
November 29, 2009 at 23:52
I guess we are all into stats in some form or another. Me? The stat that I enjoy the most is position on the table, & if The Arsenal don’t sit on top of the other 19 team names, then to me I see that there is something wrong that needs to be fixed. Its simple really
November 29, 2009 at 23:52
Even if Bendtner had been fit I have no doubt that our manager would have played him on the wing!
November 29, 2009 at 23:53
Wenger….
On possibly buying players in January…
“I believe I would rather have all of our players back. I am not in a mood tonight to say straight away after the game that I would buy players. We have to deal with the disappointment, and respond to that massive disappointment we had today and try to win our next game. It’s as simple as that.”
November 29, 2009 at 23:53
Yep I know reggie
have a good one, see you later.
November 29, 2009 at 23:54
wellI can Help Geoff and pedro with the ratings
here we go from 1- 11
(0)
and lets celebrate the return of crab football.
2 shots on target in 90 minutes
awesome boys.
November 29, 2009 at 23:57
the only way foward is a takeover and real investment ,
November 29, 2009 at 23:58
zeus
For Le gaffer to say that, after his pre match description of the team, it means to me that he is either not hurting enough; deluded to the point that he still sees that The Arsenal were duped by the ref; or is so outa touch its time to step aside. Unless he buys big time, it will continue to be as it has been for 5 years going on 6.
I’m a glass is half full type of person, but chelski just knocked my glass over
November 30, 2009 at 00:00
a i know chelsea will drop points but can realy this team winnig every game now till the end of the season chelsea will drop points but we will also drop points
November 30, 2009 at 00:01
Yeah we need to be more direct…..too much sideways mentality….
The thing is though its all about matchups…..Chelsea just let us have the ball..soak up pressure and then wait for us to make a mistake….
Manure used that tactic against Chelsea and it almost worked….its not about being better etc…its about tactics…
We know that teams use this tactic against us..therefore we have to be more direct and clinical and let them pay for sitting back….
But we dont do that…..so teams just soak up our weak pathetic pressure and just wait for a mental lapse from us..
If only we could score in the first 10-15 mins then it would force them to come out and play….
Wenger needs to stop playing playmakers like Nasri and ROsicky on the wing….we need players like Vela Theo etc on the wing from the fucking start..
Wehn Nasri gets the ball on the wing..instead of driving towrds the byline/box..he slows down and waits for triangles…we saw this last season and Wenger still fucking puts him on the wing…nAsri and Rosick need to be in the fucking centre with Cesc with Song or Den behind them
November 30, 2009 at 00:02
his retoric is frankly embarrising
he cannot think that we fall for all his bollocks
November 30, 2009 at 00:04
frankly it doesnt matter where walcott, and nasri plays they are not strong or good enough .
November 30, 2009 at 00:04
Lets have some perspective shall we, it was one game, one result. If we’d won we would’ve been 2 points behind Chelsea after our game in hand, now we’re 8. It isn’t great but it’s far from over!
The way I look at things we should expect to win every home game, and lose against the top 4 and City, but win every other away game.
That’s how you get rid of the way that fixture organisation is misleading. By my reckoning we’re level on points with Utd, 5 behind Chelsea.
We’ve dropped 8 points they’d expect to win, Utd have dropped 8 points they’d expect to win, Chelsea have dropped 3 points they’d expect to win (6 but the win against us is an away game against the top 4 so would expect to lose)
If we beat them at Stamford Bridge we’ve evened it all out, and we’re one point ahead of them, if everything else goes as one would expect it to….
November 30, 2009 at 00:06
leon i dunno, before sunderland i really thought we’d create so many chances against the smaller teams that we wouldn’t drop anything like as many points as the others against those down the bottom of the table. The next few weeks will tell whether that’s still the case, or without vp we can’t function in the same way
lol mcmahon nasri is absolute class, he looks quality this season, and was probably our best player today imo.
November 30, 2009 at 00:18
@A i think its time us gunners have to get real.We were given a real lesson by a team that are streets ahead of us in every department. We had not one real chance in the whole match that’s a worry. We need at least 3 world class players and hopefully a new manager next season
November 30, 2009 at 00:32
replacing wenger would be a tragedy imo. the board only gives a low transfert budget. only wenger keep us chalengers in such a situation
November 30, 2009 at 00:34
I hear some people blaming Song Denilson etc….but it was the attackers and the defenders(especially Almunia and Sagna) that let us down…
We just dont know how to defend as a team…
Our attackers took too fucking long to make up their minds on what they needed to do..
Arshy had a gaping goal..and instead of hitting it first time..he dillied and dallied and his shot was blocked..
November 30, 2009 at 00:35
A,
Based on your comments it seems as if you (and Mr. Wenger) tend to rely on your intellect to rationalize the poor display of Arsenal today..or any day The Arsenal lose a match; seems a bit naive, even disengenuous (sp). I may be wrong but I don’t believe for one minute that football players are in agrement with your position that says essentially: “Hey it was a loss, no worries, just gonna do better next week. G’night boys!”. The opinions on this blog today reflect the opinions ON THE DAY..it is important to keep a perspective as you would say/write; it is also important to accept that perspective is no substitute for what appears before us: mediocrity.
November 30, 2009 at 00:44
Eduardo was the weak link for me today. He’s been fairly useless for the last couple of games. Vela has been poor when he has come on as well, always slowing down play and losing opportunities by trying to get the ball on hsi left foot! What also stood out today is how none of our players can cross well. Defensively and when attacking we’re pretty bad at set plays. As musch as we miss Van Persie I don’t think he would have made a big enough difference today. We’ve had 3 crunch matches, Man U, man city and chelsea, and we’ve lost them all!
November 30, 2009 at 01:00
A has always been a bit delusional about the potential this season of this team !..
he is a virtual wenger pull string doll
however i said Saturday drogba / anelka will be the difference …when things get tight .
)
(i suppose thats just another thing im wrong about A
A STRIKER OR 2 is needed ! A_S_A_P !
A, loves dudu and thinks he is the most clinical striker in the EPL ! blah blah …
yes, .. well we saw that yesterday …
i said dudu has largely been untested by us .
coming back from injury also, and i think its unfair to heap the blame on him ..
‘wenger’, went into this season just like every other…. under-maned , and hoping for 2 or 3 stars to be born prior to the December transfer window .
we still have a long way to go to roll the likes of the chev’s and manc’s at their home grounds with regularity .
then , ONLY then!, should we start bragging we are BETTER than them ! , any other talk is just PURE DELUSIONAL RANTING !
and ive had to bare witness to listening half a season already on how fucking great we are !
hopefully some of the pricks who said i was a doom monger can now work out for themselves i was RIGHT all along !
November 30, 2009 at 01:04
Eddy needs a partner from now we should play like this
…………………..Song/Denilson………………….
….Cesc/Rosick………………………….Nasri/Diaby…
..Theo/Vela…………….RVP/Bendy/New………Arshy/Eddy…
We should play either Arshavin or Vela as CF until Bendy returns….
Eddy has played better on the wing…
November 30, 2009 at 01:08
Ethan I asked you to predict todays game and you said
“we could win with the home advantage, then again chelsea are good so we could lose, or it might be a draw.”
What vision.
There are a lot of pricks on here, I should know because I’m one of them.
But you are the biggest of all.
November 30, 2009 at 01:36
IN
De Rossi/Toulalan
Dzeko/Pdolski/clinical strong forward
CB taller than gallas.
It amazes me that our back 4 are so good individually yet we have performances like that. Perhaps that says something about our style…?
November 30, 2009 at 03:39
Ethan always brags about what he gets right, but more often than not he gets everything wrong and never mentions it again.
November 30, 2009 at 03:43
Before today’s game, Ancelotti said he was happy Flamini and Hleb weren’t at Arsenal anymore. They’re obviously both better than what we have right now. Hleb might have not scored goals, but he was consistent and always caused problems. Something nasri and Arshavin could only dream of doing.
November 30, 2009 at 03:44
Some writer in the Mirror thinks Arsenal would do well to land Amr Zaki
November 30, 2009 at 03:47
Hey Pat Wenger needs to stop playing Nasri and Rosicky on the wings…
Remember last season even though we all rate Nasri…we could see that on the wing he was frustrating because he never varies his approach he always cuts in from the left..
and even when he was on the right today he sill never took the defender on….he always looked for the easier option.
He and rosick need to be in the fucking centre…
Wenger should play only fast direct players on the wing…i.e. vela Walcott Arshy and to a lesser extent Eddy since he cant manage the CF role…
November 30, 2009 at 03:55
We need to play like this til Bendy and RVP come back
……………………..Song/Den……………………..
…Cesc/Ramsey………………………Rosick/Nasri…….
…………………..Nasri/Arshy……………………..
………………………………..Eddy/Arshy…………
……………….Theo/Vela………………………….
Rosick and Nas should be driving from the midfield instead of dilly dallying on the flanks…..
Let Eddy or Ashy be the support striker and let the speed demons Theo/Vela stay up front…
November 30, 2009 at 04:18
Pat, its that tosser Collymore that says we should get Zaki.
Fucking Bellend.
I think there’s a good chance we’ll see David Villa in january.
Man United will sign sign him.
November 30, 2009 at 04:31
AA23 i said draw AT BEST !
oh how fast and conveniently you forget !
but its not that , i was saying based on everyone’s hot air we should win this at home no problems ..
not sure how you change a draw at best into me expecting 3 points ..
and i aint no prick ! im just realistic with a realistic eye for football !
we need someone who is better than drogba or torres , until we get someone who can swing a tight game like that our way we will always be 2nd best ..
hence a striker is needed !
always has …
and this game , like sunderland have hi-lighted
it !
also good save by big Al , the one handed save.
shame you let 3 others in !
November 30, 2009 at 04:32
This team reminds me of the “Brazillian team of the 1980’s” no genuine striker
great midfield options such as zico socrates falcao naive at back we have all the attributes of that side and no signs that we will win something this year .We have lost to Manchester United Manchester City and Chelsea playing similiarly . We may again drop points against Liverpool.
We need a Rooney A Torres A Drogba
at front efficient strikers who bully defenders i doubt if we have anyone like including Rvp
we were at our best when we had ADEBAYOR(i hate him though) EDUARDO and flamster in the middle yesterday there was no one in the middle to conect to our crosses.
SIGN CARLTON COLE or make it 6 7 8 9 years without a trophy
November 30, 2009 at 04:34
defender Puyol who took the plaudits after a heroic display.
The 31-year-old made superb last-ditch blocks to deny Marcelo, Gonzalo Higuain and Karim Benzema, and Guardiola told Marca: “He was relentless. It seems like he is still 20 years old.”
home grown players
November 30, 2009 at 06:18
Zaki is a very good striker.
I hope we go in for Gignac. Simpson says he feels he can score regularly in the premier league. has anyone been watching him at QPR? Is he actually playing well? I know he’s scoring, but that doesn’t tell the whole story
November 30, 2009 at 06:21
I’m not one for playing manager but here goes; In Dzeko, Sakho,Lloris (much preferred Frey), and how about we promote 6 foot 2 Nacer Barazite. He must be more consistent than Diaby. And Diaby’s height is the only thing keeping him around.
November 30, 2009 at 07:09
Barazite is injured ZeuS! for the rest of the season it seems !
November 30, 2009 at 07:11
we need to revert to 4-4-2 pronto whilst RVP is out and get to January and then sort it out in the market !
November 30, 2009 at 07:17
kush
Benzema would be a good fit for wenger and the french connection ..
likewise my old favorite pipe dream david villa ,
fuck me with all the money wengers saved over the years surely with the help of ade’s/toures cash we could get someone for about 20+ mil who is reliable enough to convert games !
it still boils down to FAITH ! .. fuck that ..
wenger the truth is they are not that good .
and even if they are you go to great lengths to stunt them if they are (theo- vela- jack etc.)
the average players like diaby – eboue-song-denilson-senderos-big al all need to ship off, and be replaced with world beaters .Then we would measure up to the likes of the chev’s and barca , and that is what is needed if you are to be number 1 !
else be happy playing pretty football minus a spine and a clinical edge ..
November 30, 2009 at 07:23
Morning all, what a shit night I’ve had, what a shit day I’m going to have, thanks Arsene.
This team are not good enough to win anything except perhaps a top 4 spot.
The chav game showed everyone that Song, Denilson and Almunia are just not good enough. Period.
Had Song and Denilson dominated midfield the balls would have made there way forward. Yes others had poor games but if we had better than those three, perhaps they wouldn’t have been so bad.
Almunia is just shit, the last decent keep Wenger had was Seaman, even Lehmann wasn’t world class, but Almunia is just shit.
We need to bring in a decent keeper, a centre back, a defensive midfielder or two and a world class striker.
Then we will be a good side, listening to Wenger is getting tiresome I’m afraid.
November 30, 2009 at 07:28
OOHHhhh SSHHhhhhiiiittt…..
Two coffee’s and some pills and it still REALLT HURTS
November 30, 2009 at 07:31
When takeover talk starts later, all remember that we are the Arsenal, and we do have style and standards, so the first person who thinks Usmanov should be the man, be warned.
I am in London on business on wednesday, and I will come round and smash your fucking head in, you ignorant bastard.
November 30, 2009 at 07:32
Geoff,
Denilson got outmuscled and outpaced in the midfield, really, when solid enough yesterday Song was replaced by Walcott – with him in the squad we just return to crab football: we did not have a shot on goal of any note…
Note to Mr Wenger: buy some MEN with balls in the winter…
November 30, 2009 at 07:32
Geoff
Don’t forget Eduardo, his touch was poor all night. What happened to Song? it wasn’t until about the 80th minute that I realised he wasnt on the park
To put in terms that Stan the man would understand, it was a disaster for the Arsenal brand. So Mr $$$$$$ signs, fork out please before I finally tire of getting up @ 2.00-3.00am to watch that sort of crap. Its a slur on all supporters, & can only be changed by buying real seasoned players.
November 30, 2009 at 07:33
Even if we just get a decent GK and a striker..that be ok for now.
First 20 mintues of the 2nd half we kept knocking their door…no one in the team who’s thinking..alright…f**k this I’m a let one rip…that’s who we need.
Had we a decent CF on board we would have got somthing from yesterday.
Here’s to a shit day!!
Thanks Wenger!!
November 30, 2009 at 07:35
and oh, seeing Traore being overtaken by ’slow & shit’ Ivanovic really did it for me yesterday…
‘morning all, where are my manners
November 30, 2009 at 07:36
does it get any worse
eduardo, almunia, walcott, denilson and vela not good enough, nasri (jury still out)
pathetic showing from eduardo, too lightweight, no heart
season over in term of title
November 30, 2009 at 07:37
Iceman
The team, on a whole are too small, against a team like chelski. & for that matter, how many players have chelski bought in the last 2-3 years, hardly any, they have kept hold of a good seasoned core group that know how to win “in the clinches”
November 30, 2009 at 07:39
It will always be the same, we get to the semi’s, play a half decent team, and get hammered, there was no difference between yesterday and the last time we played them.
Wenger needs to be told, buy some fucking players, this lot will not improve because 3 of them have no fucking talent, the only thing they do have, is long term contracts.
November 30, 2009 at 07:39
to think eduardo have just signed new contract is a joke, injury has ruined him, just like injury ruins many players careers, rosicky has to start ahead of nasri
any fuck this whatever is said now was said millions of times by every gooner round the world, we all know it apart from the man that matters
November 30, 2009 at 07:41
I know most people are still touchy about Cashley Cole, but that booing everytime he gets the ball isn’t intimidating for him. He assisted in an Arsenal player scoring a goal.
November 30, 2009 at 07:41
Eduardo will come good, thing is he is not suited to the role Wenger wants him to play…
he is a fox in the box kind of player, but we didn’t get into their fucking box, did we?
November 30, 2009 at 07:41
Gnarley…
I hear you mate.
He needs to get his act right.
We let go of Toure and got Vermaelen to replace. Fine.
Adebayor? No replacement. Appalling since we all knew RvP is injury prone and Vela isn’t quite the answer yet.
2 new players atleast in Jan for us to still salvage something this season.
We’re still in 3 cups.
That’s the only positive for now.
November 30, 2009 at 07:44
I think the forwards are good enough, but only when they have a big fuck to play off.
Anyway I have a horse-pital appointment, I’ll ask them if they have something for pain, I hate this feeling, and it’s on Wenger, he didn’t believe we needed new players.
Catch you all later, but please don’t anyone tell me today that Song, Almunia or Denilson are good enough. Yesterday will tell you all you know about that.
November 30, 2009 at 07:44
Mark
You mean Stan
Maybe a petition or something signed by gooners around the world should be sent to him saying something like, Please buy some players, starting with a world class goalie; over 195cm defenders that arelike robots & players who don’t fall over all the time when tackled.
November 30, 2009 at 07:45
denilson or essien
almunia or cech
eduardo or drogba
im actually starting to really dislike eduardo now, just as i dislike any other players that should be nowhere near our club,
for the sake of a few million wenger could have signed chamkah (a player he tried to sign)
SO WHY THE FUCK DIDNT YOU, every cunt knows rvp cannot be relied upon to stay fit and to put your faith in carlos carling cup vela has seriously backfired, he looks a mid table player at best, both him and dudu have the strength of an anorexic
November 30, 2009 at 07:46
or Eduardo Geoff, or eduardo
November 30, 2009 at 07:49
Which one is Ray wilkins & which one is uncle Fester. I tell you its hard to tell apart

November 30, 2009 at 07:50
eduardo has been shit all season long, has yet to ever perform when matters, him, theo, almunia, denilson can fuck off
November 30, 2009 at 07:53
Watch for empty seats next home game
November 30, 2009 at 07:55
second that Micky, I’ve got an email from the box office advertising Hull tickets on sale, never got any of these before…
November 30, 2009 at 08:35
Sugar3: the actual core support is much much less than some people would have you believe.
November 30, 2009 at 08:37
When’s the new post due?
Cant wait to vent!
November 30, 2009 at 08:39
Micky,
Spot on mate.
The actual core support is about 10-15k. we were the ones that stood there in the effing rain to applaud off the players that could be arsed to stay behind and clap us for standing there getting soaked for 90 minutes watching dross. About 10K left with 15 minutes to go, and another 20K left when the 3rd goal went in!!
November 30, 2009 at 08:44
Odub. You said it. Mates and I used to bet first round of Guiness after game on attendance. Back in 80’s, get onto North Bank. Often the winning guesstimate was 17k. I am not saying we will go back to that. Football has changed, but 35k means a half empty stadium, and believe me, if we are not competing for trophies, that is what we will see.
November 30, 2009 at 08:46
I stayed til the end, but i dont blame the people who left. It was like watching a cat kill your pet mouse, very very slowly. I think the only reason i stayed was sheer stubbornness!
November 30, 2009 at 08:51
I stayed till the end as well, approach was fine but lost it in both boxes. On subject of support, we should always support the team irrespective of the circumstances.
November 30, 2009 at 08:52
I watched it till 3 minutes of injury time (on the comfy couch) then said to myself what the fuck do i think is going to happen in 1 minute so I hit the sack.
November 30, 2009 at 08:53
Right guys, I think I’ll get out of here while the girls squabble over top spot.
Might check in later. Its going to be a bad day in here.
November 30, 2009 at 08:54
…..the birds had started chirping by then
November 30, 2009 at 08:59
gr8 video on one of other blogs – really sums it up
November 30, 2009 at 09:03
New post!
