Now Arsene Wenger has said that Nasri will not replace Song in January, he has also made it clear that Denilson will take his place, as he is a defensive midfielder, so does that mean we have been playing many of our earlier fixtures with two defensive midfielders or does that mean that we have been accommodating his favoured players in the team, and playing Denilson as an attacking one?
Either way, I think he is saying he won’t be adding to the squad, no wonder the board like his style. I personally think Denilson can fill the role, but I would prefer a player in that there that plays there week in week out.
Losing Robin, the boy wonder and shifting the team around shouln’t be too much of a problem, losing Song and playing Denilson shouldn’t be either, but we are then extremely thin on the ground, unless he starts to swap it around by bringing in Senderos or Eastmond.
Well either way, we’re are entering a period when we’ll find out, with Gibbs in trouble it looks like Traore will fill in, so we have the left sorted, we also have Silvestre available at left back so I expect him to play against Sunderland, but we are tight, perhaps we’ll see more of Ramsey and maybe even Jack Wilshere, but whatever he does I’ll be okay with as long as chief Marmitier Eboue, doesn’t find his way out on the right wing.
I also think it’s high time we reported Barca for the continuing harassment of Cesc, even their players are starting now, Cesc has been with us since he was 16, so they need to stop referring to him as a Barca player, he isn’t he’s an Arsenal one, word has it he’s forgotten how to speak Spanish anyway, and I don’t know how much longer the poor sod can keep telling them without Arsenal’s help, come on Ivan, grow some nuts and have a go at them.
I expect Cana to be up for this one, Sunderland are not a lot different to Wolves, if we want to win the league, we have to put teams like this to the sword.
Maybe Denilson with return a bigger stronger player, but after Ramsey’s antics against the Jocko’s I would like to see him afforded the same playing time that Wenger gives the Marmites, it can’t do him any harm can it? And you can see he has more talent than the combined might of the yeast based product players.
Somehow I expect to see Diaby playing up front at Sunderland, he does finish well when he gets the chance, so I’m not against it, and we do need some bulk in there, as for Rosicky and Nasri, I think they are both fit and I would be on cloud nine if they both start, throw Eduardo and Arshavin in the mix and we will have a potent team out there.
So my team guess for Saturday?
Almunia
Sagna Gallas Vermaelen Silvestre
Nasri Cesc Song
Eduardo Arshavin Diaby
This is the team I would like to see though.
Almunia
Sagna Gallas Vermaelen Silvestre (yes I said Silvestre)
Nasri Ramsey Cesc
Rosicky Arshavin Eduardo
It won’t happen though as it doesn’t include a beef flavoured, savoury paste type player.
I would take either though, have a great day Grovers, only 3 days to see if we can make it without Robin, because apart from a small team in Belgium, next up are the chavs, and then there will be no place to hide, unless of course fat Frank plays, and they can all stand behind him, no one will see them then!

Micky Did It 89 – you need a history lesson buddy….google the irish guards….the only reason the remained “neutral” was the country had been split by a civil war. over 200.000 died in WW1..many more in WWII as a lot of Irish lived in Britain at the time…Ireland has plenty blood spilt in the name of war..
God even Le Grove has its Enoch Powells……you think supporting Arsenal with it mix of nationalities would make our supporters tolerant people.
