He may even put Diaby in there, and although some of you are quaking with fear at that thought, I think that may be the answer against Sunderland, a bit of height.
As long as we don’t see Eboue re-appear on the right wing, I’ll be happy to see any new line up. I do have a question though Arsene, when you said having Rosicky and Eduardo back would be like having two new players, did you mean like having two new injured players? Because everytime Rosicky plays, he seems to miss the next four, is he Ledley King in disguise?
Don’t get me wrong, I love Rosicky, but blimey, when do we get to rely on him being in the team, you know, like Vermaelen or Gallas, if one of them were injured, we be in major league trouble.
It’s obvious that Senderos has no future, so why don’t you just sell him and get a replacement, or try him as a defensive midfielder, seeing him in the squad and getting paid makes me sad and pissed off at the same time, why have an expensive dud hanging around, it can’t be good for moral can it? And I don’t think he deserves that sort of treatment, he always did his best for us.
So just a few days to go to find out what the boss will do without the boy wonder, can we maintain our form and beat Sunderland and the chavs, I hope he has a plan, who would you pick?

In games where we’d be looking to fire long shots more to gain a defensive edge, Bendtner and Diaby up front with Fabregas also playing deep up the pitch. Diaby may be better than Ramsey in the attacking midfielder role.

I had a bout of chicken pox in 2003. On the first day of diagnosis, my family physician prescribed one dose placenta extract (aptly branded Placentrex) manufactured by a french company and imported into India. He said it is not a medicine, it is harmless, but said first four days would be less painful and pox would not leave deep scar on face. It worked, less pain no scar.

I think Arsene’s the best manager we’ve ever had, and the best out there (debatable).
We can blog all we want on here with our own thoughts and ideas on what he does well, or where he went wrong, but its just that…the modern day equiv of blokes shooting the breeze in a pub.
None of us on here can (imo) even begin to understand what it means to manage the Arsenal, set out a team, manage and build a squad, create a defined style of play from the U9′s thru to the first team, etc etc etc.
Some people think its really as easy as dropping Diaby or Bendtner, or deporting all the Marmites.
Many times Wenger has made decisions that have baffled me, but I don’t want him shot for them, nor do I magnify them to the point where I use them to denigrate his achievements.

one funny thing came out of doing my house up. I had loads of rubbish to take down the tip so, got my dad round to stick all the shit in his car…….when we were loading I noticed that my new neighbours had some rubbish so, I knocked and said i would take the bulk of theirs also (she has three kids and is undergoing chemotherepy). In Sorting their rubbish is noticed a framed picture of Arsenal shirts (similar to the size of the ones you see hanging in the back of car windows). Their were 5 shirts listed with Gilberto, Cesc……then her little boys name.
I said to my dad its a shame they’re throwing it away. He said that they were not throwing it away but donating it to a good cause……I did think that was weird but ignored it and got on with the job.

Well, Denilson was, arguably, our best performer when he got injured and many believed we were playing well cause of him, including myself. He got injured and no change. Hopefully the same happens now with RVP out. Eduardo is capable of some amazing finishes. Overhead kicks, scoring with his ankle. He has the ability to score more than RVP, thats for sure.

Sagna should play LB on saturday if Gibbs misses out. Bacary is rock solid defensively and will do a great job if he gets the opportunity. I have seen him play LB before (I actually wanted him to play LB in the CL semi and Gibbs did fuck up early on…). He might struggle to make an impact offensively though, but so would Silvestre.
Traore is not good enough defensively. He reminds of a headless chicken at times. Should be a winger.
Eboue will have no problem at RB. He`s great in that position and we would also avoid playing him in the front three where he is not suited IMO.
I would never break up the brilliant partnership between Gallas and the Verminator.

Pat: Eboue has already played some games at RB this season which has worked out fine. I would`nt say he has messed up anything. My suggestion would allow the best available players to play without having to cover for a passenger like Silvestre…
The only other reasonable alternative is to play Senderos at CB and TV at RB., but I prefer the Silvestre solution, and after his display against Kuyt in the Dippers game, I have no worries.
But let’s hope Gibbs is OK.

Like i’ve said in the past (recently) a number one priority must be a quality CB, personally i’d try to get Upson. If Ponderos and Silvestre are good enough for us so is Upson! I’d feel a lot happier with him on the bench than either of the other two.
For me a CB quartet of Vermin, Gallas, Upson and Djourou would be quite a solid and impressive lineup.
And, i’m sure that Upson would rather play 20-25 games a season in a Champions League/Premier League chasing team than 60 games in a relegation threatened team….

Some time back I read a column by John Dykes saying that lack of futsal at the grassroots level of english academies is one of the many reasons for lack of real talent coming up.
It will take quite some time before we see an English team playing footballwithout spraying passes all over the ground.

The unique thing about English football is that defenders have an equal say as the attackers. Makes up for an even contest. I watch spain, and its like the onus is always on scoring more and conceeding less. In England, fingers are pointed if you conceed and fingers are pointed if you miss scoring.
It is this balance between attack and defnse that makes the English football a treat to watch.
I partly agree with the fact that English kids have more options to make money, hence the lack of ambition at the footballing level. English clubs have it all over the spanish & italian clubs. Apart from the way Chelski were put outa the CL last year (barca were lucky to make the final) English club are far superior to the rest, & a 5th club man city are on the up as well if you believe the hype.
The Arsenal manager plays the best football going around, & barca & real are lining up to secure its star. I cannot fathom how Spanish & italian leagues are said to be better.

well i dont see any problems even with rvp gone cuz rosicky n nasri r back…remember we’ve been scoring all these goals WITHOUT these fellows so imagine when they come into the team now…that’s what we’ve been missing – players with class..diaby and eboue disturb the flow of our games with their lack of arsneal like passing capabilities..trust me , we’re gonna see only a more destructuve side from now on
js pray tomas n dudu stay fit cuz nasri will i’m sure..it might sound highly stupid but an effective way of making sure that they remain fit is to EXPECT that they will get injured..i mean just imagine in your head that in a few days time you’ll be reading about they being injured..if you do that , then it wont happen cuz you’ve expected that
