I hope Cashley makes it, so I can boo him for 90 minutes.

Cesc Fabregas says that the William Gallas spat last season is now behind the boys, though Arshavin says no-one is allowed to sit near him on the team bus, he really is a complex character is our Billy, but I think he’s having his best ever season in football, which I think proves my point that centre backs don’t come of age until they reach their late 20′s, so in theory we have got many years left of watching Vermaelen.

The centre back situation is a little worrying, as we only have Senderos and fish head to come back, I’m not sure when Djourou will be ready but I think he will make it, so we have him, but the young guns are too young, so should we have a little look see in the window?

I would have said maybe he would put Song in there if needed, but I don’t think he’ll move him from the midfield in my lifetime, the one thing that cost us last year was losing Gallas, I think we missed him more than we missed Cesc.

I also think Cesc this season is a different player, I believe adding scoring to his game has given him a new dimension, remember Hleb? When we had him, how frustrating was the team to watch when no one had a shot, we’re a bit different now, what with Vermaelen having a pop from anywhere and Arshavin and Robin doing their thing, I think we only have three outfield players that haven’t scored. Happy days!

So the chavs beat the mancs, well we spanked the mancs so we have nothing to worry about, if the mancs had a goalscorer in their team they would have been 4 up at half time, next up for us, Sunderland, next up for the chavs, Wolves, and John Terry says it’s a tough game. We’ll see.

On the Ashley Cole injury, I’m hoping he’s out for the game, but then at the same time, I’m looking forward to booing his every touch, tough decision that!

Have a great day Grovers, it’s strange being talked of as a contender again, let’s hope that lasts eh!

I hope Cole makes it too…I need to vent my football tourettes.

Darren Fletcher is behaving like an arse in the paper – is he the new Robbie Savage? He may just be as big a cock.

first ever post, top ten?

7. luke says:

Ive been hearing a lot about Arda Turan, Edin Hazard, and even misimovic (sp?) lately. Im really surprised, the last thing we need is attacking players, even with the injuries. Theo is almost back and we still have Nasri, rosicky, eddie, rvp, arsh, vela. I think we really need a cb option, especially as gallas is so old and shitvestre is so shitty. A player who could play CB and CDM would be soooo nice

8. Aussie Az says:

morning gents? anynews on the walcott and bendtner injuries? also diaby goin off on weekend?

9. luke says:

bendtner is still unknown. Either 4 weeks or till January im told…

10. Lalas says:

6th,,

11. chozzer says:

AA, Walcott’s meant to be back in training next week, Bendtner is going under the knife and Diaby out of the internationals.

12. Rich from the North Bank says:

As much as I detest Cashley Cole…. don’t boo players on England Duty…….

We’re not West Ham, We Are THE Arsenal.
And we’re bigger than that

Come on You Reds!

13. Aussie Az says:

bendtner will be out for a while then? might see a longer run in team of eduardo? think we might miss him maybe rambo get a another week if diaby rested for the sunderland game

we should pray that no one gets injured during the next two boring weeks. i hate the interlul or maybe its a good thing. our injured players can come back from injuries

17. Gunnersmith says:

Considering we’re competing in 4 competitions we could meet the 100 mark by just scoring 1 per game :-)

18. Big Dave says:

Do Arsenal need to buy in Jan ?
We need cover for centre back.

19. luke says:

I got a question for everyone, is Nasri ever going to be used as a midfielder instead of a forward? I was thinking he would be good in Diaby’s place.

20. Aussie Az says:

i agree dave need a cb and i like a world class keeper brought in

21. luke says:

Wenger wont buy a world class keeper…unless Almunia, fab, and mannone get as bad as gomes all of a sudden

22. luke says:

I would much rather:

In- CDM:Matuidi, Viera loan (maybe), etc.
CB:Subotic

23. Arsenal Tom says:

luke… i reckon so mate, he played there in his reserve game and in the carling cup, him and cesc with be our xavi & iniesta

24. luke says:

I cant wait but Wenger has only used him up front and with theo and bendy out, I fear we will continue to see him there…its not a bad thing, I just cant wait to see

Back 5

Cesc-Song-Nasri

Rosicky-RVP-Arshavin

Well be scoring 5 a game easy.

Why doesn’t any1 suspend David n’gog for his dive, but when eduardo did one much less worse, he was almost driven out of European football. That’s justice for ya

27. Lou says:

Fletcher’s rant has an amusing quality to it. I guess the so-called master of mind-games Ferguson has suggested he blame Wenger in the press to try and alleviate some of the pressure he thinks he is under. If you run around the whole game fouling people ( 7 times), without getting a card and also get away without somehow conceding a blatant penalty, as Fletcher did during our recent game at OT, then I suppose you could build up a feeling of being untouchable. I would suggest that Fletcher looks to himself because if something looks like shit and smells like shit, then it normally is precisely that. This was never truer than in the case of Darren Fletcher. He even seems to blame Fabregas for him missing the CL final when it was his own stupidity….again.

28. Ademywhore says:

coldplay?

29. KenyaGunner says:

It’s a shame about David Ngog’s blatant dive last night? absolute disgrace….

One to add to the dive watch Geoff/Pedro!

Let’s see how the authorities will deal with that one and Johnny Evans’ Bruce Lee move on Drogba!

30. Duke says:

Morning,
Rich, I think Geoff meant that he hopes Cuntley is back for our game at the Grove vs the Chavs. To boo him then, and not for England…

31. Arsenal Tom says:

johnny evans challenge on drogba was beautiful, not sure the FA can do anything because the ref saw it and dealt with the situation…. i heard drogba might have a cracked rib or 2, would be lovely if he was out of our game

32. LAzer says:

Funny no mention of Fletch’s bleating. For gods sake man Wenger did not even mention a name, you know you’re guilty when you’re acting so paranoid.

Besides I wish Arsene had that sort of sway over Ref’s, only Fergie and the evil Blue fouling cunts have exhibited that sort of sway in this decade.

Finally Bendtner’s injury, hernia operations are rarely serious but still going under the knife I expect him to be out longer then four weeks. With Walcott back soon and Rosicky picking up match fitness I think we will be alright.

In other news Denilson is on the mend as well, I hope he comes back and explodes on the scene like a sex machine, we can all have hope right?

33. KenyaGunner says:

I have a bad headache this morning!!….

Hell, it’s WENGER’s fault!

Father – Drug Dealer
Son – Chav Cunt

35. gazzap says:

I hope denilson doesn’t explode like a sex machine – not on the pitch anyway – we have an immaculate pitch.

I think we will miss Bendtner if he is out until January. He is that plan B that we often miss when we need to go long. strength in the air up front. Eddie can do a good job if he stays fit.

36. choy says:

morning!

39. Arsenal Tom says:

To be fair surgery these days is all key-hole so its not like they’ll be slicing his leg open

40. gambon says:

I dont think we need a CB, as i think Song will be a CB as soon as Arsene finds his ideal DM, i think Song & Djourou will be our backup CBs, with Song also as a DM option.

Buy a top class experienced DM, and a GK, then we look very strong.

Although we may need a top quality CB at the end of the season cos i cant see Gallas signing any new contract.

41. LAzer says:

I mean like Eddie did with his wondorous flick after the layoff. Of course this is Denilson we are talking about and maybe my memory of ranting about him has faded a bit recently.

That was a nice goal vs. Everton though.

Wish we could add some rocket boosters to his shorts or something, his dreary pace and small frame don’t help at all. At least Song has some German in him.

42. gooby says:

wahat do you think about the verminator/senderos combination at CB?

43. Our year 9/10 says:

We must remember that the nearly wifeless, mercenary, was good for us,and good money was made selling him.

44. LAzer says:

I don’t think Wenger sees Song as a back up anything right now.

45. Arsenal Tom says:

gooby… given a run of games it could work, it would be pretty physical, the thing is if senderos came in played well for 6 games then got dropped for a coupe of weeks it’d destroy him.

unless gallas is injured i dont wanna see it though

46. SUGA3 says:

gooby,

no way, I just don’t think Phil has what it takes to be the last line of defence at the moment, but he could build up some condidence playing DM while Song is out…

and oh, gr8 post Geoff ;)

47. Arsenal Tom says:

song wont go from first team regular for 2 seasons to back up

48. Arsenal Tom says:

senderos DM? come on now its not Friday yet!!!

49. JoeBaker64 says:

We still need a serious look at the keeper situation if we are to maintain a title challenge. Al-poo-nia was caught out of position at least twice against Wolves and we could easily have been 2 down before we scored.

50. gambon says:

Arsenal Tom,

Eboue went from first choice to squad player, Senderos was gonna be made captain and is now frozen out, Gilberto the same. Wenger can be quite ruthless, and he has said a few times that he sees Song as a CB, not a DM.

And its obvious Wenger has been looking for a DM for ever. Tried to sign Inler, Alonso, Melo, Toure…had a look at Matuidi.

51. Nick says:

Atom well wenger started it with song :)

How lucky were liverfool last night do you think they will all jump up and down to get ngog suspended, cheating fucker

52. Hello All

The way liverpool is falling behind…and on this form, seems to be whoever replaces a team from top4,it would be at expense of Liverpool

53. choy says:

why not AT?

54. goonerwils says:

i had a double hernia op (both sides) and they sure as hell sliced me open! still got the scars years on. I doubt he has a hernia anyway…more likely to be a case of ‘gilmore’s groin’. If we ever have all our players fit that will be some squad! I would definently like to see us bring in a new CB, I’m probably in the minority with this but I can see this being Willy’s last season with us?

55. Nick says:

In all honesty i did call liverpool and manure as the most likely to fall out of the top 4 chealsea have surprised me with their form didn’t think they would be as good this year but hey 2/3 aint bad :)

56. yes Nick..But Manu dropping out…u say…would be delightful…specially if Manshitty would replace Manutd…and Everton/Villa replace Liverpool…
and Arsenal winning the league…

i would also wish spurs get relegated…

57. Nick says:

pedro you got any spares for the chealsea game yet ;)

58. Nick says:

sabel that would be a carlsberg league mate, sadly thay dont do football

59. Arsenal Tom says:

if people think song is slow senderos will bring a whole new meaning to the word, think how easy he got turned as a CB in a far far tighter space then think about a player like lumpard, gerrard and how easily they go past him and be running at our CB’s…

gambon… fair point about the senderos captain thing but he was the architect of his own downfall by over-thinking everything, eboue has still played plenty of game since the CL final

60. choy says:

AT..

Senderos is as fast if not faster than song, and plus he will have the defenders behind him, and he’s excellent in the air.

61. gooby says:

i was thinking about the future,i don’t what AW has in mind for senderos.

i still can’t separate our two swiss defenders, who’s better sendy or johan? mmm

62. Nick says:

pedro the side bar needs up dating mate , just looked at the gallery and bud with ta6 legend bud must be the arsenal stalker he finds everyone lucky sod :)

63. lester says:

pedro, geoff please update the goal roll, league table and would it hurt to have an assist roll? we wanna know what each of our boys is contributing otherwise you are doing a bang up job. i look forward to getting my ‘le grove fix’ everyday no matter what

64. Arsenal Tom says:

choy, he’ll no possessional sense at all, not to mention the lack of match fitness and allot less stamina, playing midfield is allot harder than CB.

he’ll be good in the air, but thats about it for me. i think the fact he played a couple of halves in pre-season there against second rate oppo is clouding peoples judgement a bit.

id love him to be a success cos he seems to love the arse and is a good honest bloke, i think he’ll go in jan though

65. Gunners The Stunners says:

Gunnersmith @ 9.14 – It’s 100 goals in the league only not in all competitions. As per Sky sports news yesterday, if we keep scoring at the current rate, we could end up with 124 goals in EPL alone this season.

All we have to do is to keep spanking all the lower teams then we can reach 100 goals mark after just 32-34 games. Happy days… :D

66. Nick says:

senderos multi lingual = scout

67. slimshady says:

Whoop!!!

55 Goals in 19 Matches??? Even Moaning Barca was nowhere near that last season. I smell the Big-Eared trophy :-D :-D

WE’LL SING A SONG FOR SOOOONG,
LET’S SING A SONG FOR SOOOOONG!!

WE’RE GOING TO SING, A LOVELY SONG,
FOR ALEXANDRE SONG!!

lol, heard it this morning with my brother, sorry couldn’t help it. Gooday everybody.

68. Arsenal Tom says:

LOL nick, probably the safest place for him though mate!!

69. goonermichael says:

nice post. Happy days indeed

70. Nick says:

its when says a see a lot of me in him, you know not to sign them ;)

71. gazzap says:

what I found surprising about liverpool situation is that the fans are still mostly behind him. they have had some terrible results and on the verge of falling out of the champions league and yet their fans dont want Rafa sacked.
they are saying things like he has only spend £16m net on average per season since he came – how can he compete with the big boys.

If Arsenal had a run like that, the knives would be out for Wenger big time.

72. Nick says:

benitez has won the cl which helps and the owners are hated so the blame goes to them completely different to us imo, plus wenger has the money to spend!!!!

73. gazzap says:

Benitez has spent quite a bit IMO and really has only one decent player to show for it – Torres. The others are all a bit mediocre if you ask me. Gerrard and Carragher are good but they came through the youth system and had nothing to do with Benitez.

Last year, Liverpool were on the crest of a wave. they got that momentum going and managed to keep Gerrard and Torres fit for most of the season. I always felt Liverpool were like a house of cards, even last year.

I dont think Arsenal need worry about their top 4 spot for a while!!

74. RockyPires says:

With Diaby’s injury it will mean Ramsey and Merida are vying for that position plus Nasri will need game time before the Chelsea game.

I hear the reserves fixtures are gone to feck so might well be time to ship a few youngsters out on loan.
For example Randall,Barazite,Bartley,Sunu as its Citeh in the next game we will probably see a few more of the big boys on show and the forementioned guys chances of football will be limited.

75. Arsenal Tom says:

alonso going destroyed their game, plus mascherano wanted out and their defense has been shocking especially compared to last year

76. ArsenalKenya says:

Manchester City fans have appproached the FA about Manchester United defender Jonny Evans’ controversial challenge on Chelsea striker Didier Drogba in Sunday’s big game.

The Telegraph says fans often send the FA switchboard into meltdown on Mondays, trying to land their rivals in trouble, but this is different.

Monday’s complaint forms part of an orchestrated campaign called FA Watch launched in the wake of the FA punishing Emmanuel Adebayor for his stamp on Robin van Persie.

Organisers have set up a website, are monitoring all matches and inviting fans from other clubs to join them, although Stretford Enders will probably not rush to sign up.

In their missive to the FA, City fans spell out their desire for “the Laws of the game to be applied in an even-handed and consistent manner and to see whether you intend to intervene in other cases of violent conduct that may not have been seen by officials’’.

The referee at the Bridge, Martin Atkinson, believed Evans had been fouled by Drogba and awarded United a free-kick.

“Given that the referee booked Drogba it is quite possible he did not see the full extent of the incident,’’ added Mark Tipton, the founder of FA Watch and self-proclaimed Manchester City supporter. “Had he seen the incident, one would normally expect a red card to have been issued by Mr Atkinson.

“As it would seem he did not clearly see the incident from the angle he was coming from, one would normally expect the FA to follow the matter up.’’

77. RockyPires says:

Also doesnt JET come back this weekend, could he be primed for Song’s role in CDM ????

78. Pedro says:

Lester, you give me the assists, I’ll add roll!

79. MARK GOONER says:

bendtner has op

80. Pedro says:

Eddie didn’t get that goal, did he?

81. Ryan L says:

Wenger singles out a United player in September, but doesn’t name him. So Fletcher then blames those comments for him getting some attention from Ref’s whilst simultaneously and obviously, sticking his hand up and saying “Yep, hi Ref’s that was me that Wenger was on about!”

Now is that comedy gold or some sort of elaborate Jedi mind trick ???!! :-)

82. choy says:

I think the dubious goals committee will decide on that.

83. Nick says:

cor his done some doe on absolute poo over 40mil spent in the summer alone

84. LAzer says:

Rafa is shit in the transfer market for the most part and even when he scores a hyped player that may actually have genuine potential he has no idea how to develop or train ala Babel.

He is a cup manager who was blessed with Torres, I have no idea how the sharks have not sniffed around there, everyone knows they have money problems. Barca would have been better served spending 80 mill on Torres and Eto exchange then that Swedish lump.

Rafa would probably make a good international manager where he does not have to develop the players.

85. Gunnersmith says:

choy why are they called The dubious goal committe is it because they act dubioously when giving judgement or is it because they act on dubious goals ;-)

86. Duke says:

What’s more embarrassing,

Your Mum being a shoplifter
Your Dad being a drug dealer
Your Brother playing for Rushden and Diamonds

Poor John Terry.

87. SharkeySure says:

Hey Lazer top post about 10.25 on Sun morning. Very good read.

88. Lazer…since they bough that Swedish lump..that is the reason that they r after robinho…to rectify that mistake

89. mimi says:

It was hilarious the way drog became epileptic but watching the replay maybe he had cause to.I’d hate to see that done to our player! As for Fletch he is a twat personified!!!the Fecker!!

90. KM in WALES says:

Good Morning all.Bendtner is out for a few months it seems but unlike last season there’s no panic because our squad is quite deep in quality attacking options, however as we all know we are very thin in DM and CB positions. Cant believe L’pool scraped a draw with Bham! Are they worse than we were last year? Ngog their Bendtner?and Lucas = Diaby? :)

91. LAzer says:

Ngog and Lucas much worse then Diaby and Bendtner imo.

Thanks Sharkey, you talking about the 10pager?

Ya Sabeel whatisname manager down there fecked up big time with Ibra. What a crap buy, I could have told them that and for Eto after winning so much scoring so many goals. Idiots.

You know Maureen couldn’t wait to sell Ibra while he still had a hyped up name. They should have gone for Dzeko or Torres if they wanted a front man.

Think their will be some January buys this year, Barca and Manure need to stop the rot and Chavs are itching to spend the easy earned roubles.

92. insidealbania says:

Anyone here feels sorry for John ‘the Chav C**t’ Terry??
What kind of joke family does this guy come from. This is right out of Footballer’s wives. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy, I hope they catch his wife getting humped by Drogba, Lampard and Ballack at the same time.

93. LAzer says:

I see Ribery begging his way out of Bayern and City cutting their losses on a sulking Robinho-maybe on a loan. Would be nice seeing Sparky and Permatan Orange Man getting shit canned as well.

94. Nick says:

I couldn’t see what all the fuss over ibrahimavitch(sp).
eto is a bit of a ego so think both were happy to get rid but at least eto could play a bit,
as the great nelson said “haha”

95. KM in WALES says:

Sabeel – i still think that L’pool can fight their way up to the top.the top managers and teams are those who are cool when their up against it.City dnt look like they’l reach 4th under Mark Hughes…he just ain’t a top4/elite manager imo. There’s the top3 this year and a mini-league of teams fighting for 4th,then another mini-league of 8-14, the rest are fighting for survival. Fergie & his players are behaving like a bunch of sore losers, they really need to Man-up! :)

96. LAzer says:

hahaha@JTs wife’s threesome inside. Quality!

Drogbreath would be sulking if he didn’t get his turn, Fat Frank would be eating a turkey sandwich and Ballack would be fouling the shit out of her.

97. KM in WALES says:

yeh,Guardiola should’v kept Eto for another year or 2,the guy was immense.Ibra is brilliant imo but i think he ruined the balance that ETO bought to Barca. However lets see how he does….

98. LAzer says:

To someones comment earlier…if Cesc and Nasri stay imo they will be better then Iniesta/Xavi.

99. LAzer says:

Ibra always has been over hyped. When he’s on form yea he has neat touches and is physically commanding and always a willing shooter but is so terribly inconsistent.

When hes shit he stinks as much as TT and we all know that stench is awful.

100. KM in WALES says:

Ribery should leave Bayern…. They’r no longer in the elite clubs imo….they might be the one of the highest earners bla bla but in terms of matching the top teams in Europe they’v fallen behind the pack imo…this includes AC Milan as well.

101. SharkeySure says:

Yeah the 10 pager LAz…waaaay better than the half arsed effort Pedro srcibbled whilst ‘trying his luck’ in Soho.

Some of Sats comments even before kick off were outrageous….and as for Illuminati ….well he’s not here so I’ll leave that there….but I’m waiting for his return

102. Nick says:

ribery is greedy serves him right playing for a crap team with no ambition. He will go AC MILAN imo he wont come to England because of the weather….pussy

103. Nick says:

sharky follow the 11:31 link i think you could find home there!!!

104. KM in WALES says:

imo Ibra is a more mobile version of a mixture of RvP & Berbatov…does that make sense? :) Lazer…when Theo & Denilson are fit,Wenger will have a massive dilemna in terms of selection….its gona fire the players up bigtime fighting for a 1st team spot….

105. insidealbania says:

I have been watching Bayern play for the last month and they have been pretty shit. Interestingly Ribery has been in the stands for the games, and I have not seen him celebrate one goal. He will leave Bayern, its just a matter of time, and I do not see him coming to Man shity. Real is where he wants to go, but Manure and the Chavs could be the alternative.

106. Nick says:

too many options is worse then not enough some times players drop and wenger can over think things as well.
But hope your right km

107. Pedro says:

Sharkey, who is Illuminati?

108. Nick says:

LAzer i think AC milan will come in for ribery they need flair and he can be the star there where as at real he would struggle to get in the team week in week out.plus they would pay him a lot in wages

109. Nick says:

Pedro sharkey’s not here his gone home ;)

110. goonermichael says:

Km it makes sense. It’s just that he’s not really that good

111. KM in WALES says:

lol Sharkey @ ‘half arsed effort by Pedro’ :) Nick…i dnt think Ribery is greedy m8…. Bayern didnt sell him in the summer because he was under contract and they overpriced him.

112. Pedro says:

Nick, you’d soon get bored if people like Sharkey didn’t post over here!

113. ArsenalKenya says:

The Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner was taken off during the game against Tottenham two weeks ago, and it was thought that he would be out for about four weeks, but two weeks later it has still not improved.

Now it seems that he will be needing an operation for a hernia. The Danish striker was in Copenhagen last night at a ceremony and said: “I will have an operation. I don’t know how long I will be out.”

The news is not too much of a blow for Arsenal as long as Robin Van Persie and Eduardo can stay off the treatment table. They are more than capable of keeping up Arsenal’s phenomenal scoring rate.

Theo Walcott is also expected to return to training next week, and Wenger will be hopeful he can finally get an extended run in the team after his second injury this year.

Carlos Vela also has a knee injury, but according to Wenger is also close to a comeback.

116. Nick says:

his always on the wind up with you and Geoff mainly plus he thinks his right all the time

117. SharkeySure says:

Ped…Illuminati was on here on Sat and took great delight in posting ‘Diaby Fuck up #1′ and so on for every slight thing that wasn;t perfection.

Of course m*r*ns like that don;t ever post good defensive header, well tracked back do they….

Normally I’d say good luck to him – but this guy prefaced every fucking comment with my moniker just cos I’d asked everyone to lay off of Diaby before he’d even kicked a ball.

I had family stuff to do straight after the game, so I never got to ‘respond’ to his goading…..I’m a patient man though.

118. SharkeySure says:

Nick – Lol.

I tell you what I am right about you should have written he’s not his !!! ;-)

119. KM in WALES says:

Nick….Milan can’t afford him. He’l go to Madrid,or Barca if they dnt get Robinho.

120. SharkeySure says:

All joking aside Nick…..Pedro and I have NEVER had an issue…Geoff and me is another story altogether.

We cross swords but its never cos I’m ‘on a wind up’. Thats a fact….

121. Nick says:

His not needed at real or barca AC can afford him they need him so the money will come from somewhere

122. Pedro says:

I notice that Jimbo never returned?

123. Nick says:

You always seem to want to argue the opposite no mater what you ALWAYS pick up on the negatives and blame everyone else for being negative…some wolly once came on here with a story about a goatie or something…… think you might need a shave mate :)

124. lester says:

pedro i’ll work on the assist roll and give you an update asap

125. Nick says:

wheres that manc gunner today…manc gunner you out there????

126. Nick says:

if it carrys on like this im gonna have to do some work to pass the day

127. choy says:

manc gunner?

128. goonermichael says:

Pedro
Even if we do the treble Jimbo will be back in the summer saying Wenger is a cunt and he’s bought the wrong players and needs sacking.

btw are you going for a drink before the Villa game at Christmas?

129. gazzap says:

Lansbury: “You go there and you’ve got to win because the players are fighting for their bonuses”

classic

130. SharkeySure says:

Nick 12.17. Steady on…if we all agreed it wouldn’t be an argument/debate.

I mainly post on stuff I don’t agree with or pass a comment on stuff I thought was really insightful, like I have with Lazers 10 pager, or Ped’s match reports

Ranters and illogical posters always get my goat, and I’ll always try and understand/break down their arguments if I think they they are totally wrong.

Sometimes they convince me that I’m wrong, but not too often. Its not that I’m a genius…its just that I only/mainly go after the extremist views.

Even Jimbo was able to explain his views to me so that I understood where he was coming from….

131. Nick says:

Thanks sharkey work it is!!!

132. mimi says:

Lazer,Nasty.

133. SharkeySure says:

Touche Nick…..

You got me good and proper with that one !!

134. gambon says:

Should we not put a cheeky bid in for Ribery?

135. KM in WALES says:

NICK….old fruit.Ribery went to Bayern because they bid £17m while we bid £12m.

136. Mayank says:

Just popping in for a post.
I think Gallas’s work this season has been overlooked because of Vermi, I will even go as far as saying he’s the better defender (on the ground!). Wish he was younger, him and Verm could have been a partnership to remember. So good work Geoff on mentioning him!

137. RockyPires says:

We dont need Ribery and dont think he is as good as people think. Sure he is a powerful runner with the ball but can be crowded out and is more suited to the Spanish League.
I think he will go to Barca as Henrys replacment. Surely Real have enough of attacking options.

138. Nick says:

lets sign her to play with verm, saw that before but im useless and cant post links…

139. tomstoned says:

Afternoon All..

Another glorious day in Arsenal Paradise…and we just keep getting better and better..

l’pool turns to cheating…Ribery is a no gooder…Song are World Class….November will from now on be our favourite month ….Gallas has been impressive..and we should buy Akinfeev…

and Geoff Thx for the Post :)

tom.

140. Nick says:

Km the 150k didn’t influence his decision much  as a footballer you dont have to go to the team that offers the most, slavery is over you know…thanks to Ronaldo ;)

141. insidealbania says:

That hair pull was brilliant, it’ll be good if Song does it to Drogba.

142. Nick says:

spite full cow i like her

143. tomstoned says:

and we should buy Akinfeev …..!!

tom

144. KM in WALES says:

Rocky…i remember watching Ribery vs Barca in the champions league last season he was literally a 1-man team, if only he played in a better he would be devastating imo. He’s not as good as Ronaldo but he doesn’t hide away or disappear in tough games.

145. insidealbania says:

tom I cannot see AW or our Club spending more than 10m on a GK.

146. RockyPires says:

she would be very kinky in the bed….

I agree KM Ribery is class but I wouldnt have him down as an essential Arsenal purchase.
MOre so GK and central mid cover.

I posted this earlier but can JET fill in the CDM role???

147. gambon says:

JET is not even close to a DM.

He doesnt really have a position, which will be his problem at the top level.

148. tomstoned says:

InsideAlbania..

im sorry to say that i agree mate..still its cristhmas soon and ooe could always make a wish …right ? :)

Km Wales..Ribery is a great player when he feels like playing..and if we had bought him some years ago i think he would have been fantastic…but these days it seems that the fella isnt very interested in playing anymore….in my opinion the cash have ruined him as a footballer…just like other greats like Ronaldinho.Ronaldo(Brazil)and many others…the best example will be flamoney who tought that after one..1..good season at Arsenal suddenly thought he was God’s gift to football..what a fecker…

tom

149. KM in WALES says:

Inside…Given would’v been a bargain at £8m :)

150. gooby says:

akinfeev is class, and young.

151. SharkeySure says:

Thats a no for me Rocky….

There’s something about JET that I find a little off putting. Maybe its his arrogance.

I’m not sure his ‘personality’ would suit sacrificig himself for the team in the way that a good DM does

152. insidealbania says:

KM – you are right but I think AW is going to stick to Almunia for this season and bring in Fab for the next. If our defense is sorted then it should not be a problem.

153. SharkeySure says:

Can I also apolgise for disagreeing with you Rocky, not that you’ll be too bothered I’m sure…but Nick finds it a little upsetting when I disagree with people on here

;-)

154. Nick says:

sharkey ;) :mytwofingersupyournose: no!! will have to do :)

155. patthegooner says:

So Yaya will not be off to Man Shitty!!!!

We should make a bid there. I bet you could get him for 8-10m

156. RockyPires says:

quiet alright Sharkey was deeply distraught there for a while was off my dinner. I dont think JET is the answer either but its funny how AW is recalling him when he is doing so well down there. Would have thought a full season would have being of benefit to him . Lansbury I like and can see making it in the big time.
JET has no defined position but if anyone can get his position it is AW, plus he does like him, hasnt JET played in Austria a few times.

On Songs absence I dont think Diaby is up to it in the centre nor is Ramsey as both are centre mid of the attacking type. Denilson-Cesc_Nasri would kill all the teams on the floor but as regards physical and aerial combat think we be a bit fu+ked against the likes of Bolton and Villa.

157. we should make a official bid of 1 million pounds for ribery…

158. Pedro says:

Pat, straight swap for Denilson I say!

159. Pedro says:

All this international shit is getting beyond a fucking joke now…

160. RockyPires says:

Yaya Toure the Sebestian Frey of midfielder, the eternally linked one who we never actualy get… Yes I still like him,yes he would be a major boost to the squad but I still doubt we will get him. AW will hardly sign him now. I do think Yaya would join us but obviously he is of little use to us in January and perhaps too high profile to do battle with Song for CDM role.

I hope he doesnt come to Premiership and fecks off to Milan

161. A says:

Rocky Wenger isn’t recalling JET – he’s been at Blackpool on loan for the duration of the agreed loan period, and he can’t go on loan again until January, when they’ll probably offer for him again on a long term loan until the end of the season.

JET isn’t a DM, he just doesn’t have those instincts, even less so than Diaby does! I like him though, he’s a pretty unique player, I could see him hanging around for a while, he could be very useful in the role Diaby is currently occupying, or as one of the wide forwards.

I agree about Diaby not being up to it, and that Den, Cesc, Nasri would be very fragile physically. I reckon that Denilson playing there, with Diaby playing and dropping a bit deeper against the physical opposition to give the midfield some balance and ability to compete physically will work ok though.

162. RockyPires says:

fair enough A, we probably wont sign anyone and thats probably the way AW will go..
But with JET coming back oes this mean we will see him in the CC cup as he will be itching for first team football having had a taste and is JETs inclusion at the expense of Coq or Eastmond as surely he wont displace Merida/Ramsey

163. KM in WALES says:

Sharkey @ 13.38….yep JET is said to be a bit arrogant, but he is so talented when his mind is fully concentrated on the job.I know he needs to track back etc and improve his defensive side of the game as well but i hope he’l learn that quickly.ROCKY – i think his best position is 2nd striker or in the Gerrard role. and yes i agree that we dnt need Ribery although he’s way out of our price range now :) NICK @ 13.16 – what are u on abt? TOMSTONED @ 13.34….i think the Ribery is having the same problem as Fabregas last season – being injured for a long period and playing with players who are simply not on the same level as him (bar Robben & Lahm) Also like fabregas when Barca came for him,Madrid came for Ribery,Bayern refused, now their having a shit season and he’s looking at La Liga and thinking why am i stuck in this shit-hole.I just think Ribery needs to move on,he’s not like Ronaldinho who was a party boy etc and couldnt be arsed to play any more because he had the money and all the trophies in the world ….fair enough ;)

164. A says:

Nah Rocky – JET won’t start I’d doubt, certainly not at DM at Coquelin or Eastmond’s expense, though I’m not sure either of them will play. He could be on the bench though. Coquelin and Eastmond were ahead of JET as DMs for the youth team, he’s an attacking player, not a DM.

For City I reckon Denilson could well be the DM, or even Senderos if Wenger is wanting to look at options that could provide cover there.

165. SUGA3 says:

Rocky,

JET is, sadly, a Diaby Mk II in the making IMO…

which comes with fuck all defensive discipline in the package ;)

166. Nick says:

KM ribery went to bayern for the money and the money only……………………… thats what im on about

167. Duke says:

Ribery said he would only leave Mars if they didn’t make Champions League to a team that did.
In the season Mars made it to CL and Bayern, did not, guess what he did? He went to Bayern.
Don’t need cunts like that in our team.

168. Nick says:

we should move on from yaya he kept dropping us out to stay there so let man shitty have him how many dcm’s would that make on their books :?

169. Nick says:

Duke im with you, we offered 12 mil and reasonable wages we were the team to play for (if you were french anyway ;) ) but ribery went to bayarn in a country with the same weather as ours but lesser league….but it wasn’t for the money……yeah right :)

170. SUGA3 says:

JET is being recalled as all of the sudden we are lacking phyciality in the reserves team IMO…

171. Nick says:

thought someone said the reserve league had gone bandy!!

172. A says:

We’re second in the reserve league with a game in hand to go first! Can’t believe Thurs’ game in postponed, Wilshere, Vela, Rosicky would’ve torn West Ham apart

173. Nick says:

A is the league still running, just postponed??

174. Nick says:

that would be something new wouldn’t it win the reserves womans and the mens league title in the same year!!

175. A says:

The league isn’t postponed is it Nick, just a couple of games have been I believe. League is still running as normal far as I know.

I wonder if JET will feature in the league cup team. I’m currently thinking it’ll be a front three of vela, wilshere, and theo, midfield of ramsey, merida and denilson, though obviously a long way away so anything could happen with injuries etc. Then some first teamers on the bench, and coquelin and watt, not sure any space for JET to make the bench.

176. choy says:

now now.. with the run of games we had we were supposed to be on top of the league.. nov, dec and jan i think are our toughest months..

177. ManGoonian says:

Hey fuckwits!

JET has all the ingredients to be a top player;

Yeast, flour, water and a sprinkling of nutmeg…

The boy’s gonna make it…

Diaby mk2??? What the fuck does that mean Suga3???

Explain yourself cuz!

178. ManGoonian says:

Lansbury is doin really well at Watford too…

I seriously can see him being a big player for us….

179. Duke says:

Yeah Nick, he is a cunt, I would settle for a less talented player who plays with his heart for the Arsenal cause.

180. Duke says:

MG, I like Lans, but which position do you think he should play for the 1st team?

181. A says:

Lansbury in the current system would play as one of the two advanced central midfielders

182. ManGoonian says:

Duke;

We do seem over ,loaded in central midfield, dont we! But with the new 3 in midfield, I think he can find himself a berth in there.Maybe not 1st choice to b egin with, but he can fight for a place… Well, thats what I’d like to see happen.

183. ManGoonian says:

A;

What? You don’t think he can do the holding role either!!!

184. choy says:

Nah MG.. lansbury is an attacking player

185. A says:

Potentially Mang, though he’s another who’s more offensive than defensive. He’s a Gerrard type player, combative, but his best attributes and strengths are driving forwards from midfield, not defensive. I certainly don’t think he could make it with us as a DM, his Arsenal-standard qualities aren’t his defensive attributes imo…. I still think he could make a good right back starting out there whilst we’re overloaded with centre mids!

186. Nick says:

oi oi manky gunner where you been all day you northern expat :)

187. choy says:

Is diaby out for chelsea by the way?

188. A says:

Would seem not Choy – France have said he isn’t necessarily even ruled out for the playoff games

189. Nick says:

what was diabys injury any way??

190. SUGA3 says:

MG,

Diaby Mk2 – should be good physically, but not quite cut to make it amongst the big boys like he did in youths, bags of talent but has too big urge to showboat like he used to in the early days, Big Time Charlie attitude ;)

191. SUGA3 says:

and oh, no identified position (just like AD)…

192. ManGoonian says:

Nick;

Oi Oi saveloy! Ive been to a job interview, thanks for asking fella!

choy & A;

I was jestin about the DM role and Lansbury, sorry..kinda carryin it on from yesterday and Ramsey!

193. choy says:

errrr…

194. gunnergetyou says:

france are hoping that diaby will be available for the play-offs, but wenger said he will be out for up to 3 weeks. Sounds like wenger tried to pull a fast one.

http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=reu-worldfrance_tv&prov=reuters&type=lgns

195. ManGoonian says:

Suga3;

Yeah, get you about that. But I think goin on loan to Blackpool and hopefully, somewhere else too this season will do him good, in terms of football and any “big time charlie” urges he might have.

Lansbury’s ego has been called into question in the past and he seems to have settled down. Hopefully JET can too. If Holloways comments are legit, then the lad has plenty of potential to make it…

Time will tell, I guess…

196. Duke says:

Lans, Merida, Ramsey, Jet all going for the same spot which is not even available…

197. choy says:

I think in a 433 we need a DM who is a sitter… ramsey, lansbury sure they can defend but they are better attackers..

198. gunnergetyou says:

JET does not seem to have a natural position, he’s built like a CM but usually plays on the left. Sounds like someone else we know all too well, is there room in our squad for another diaby?

199. ManGoonian says:

choy;

Me and A were goin on and on about whether Ramsey cud do the DM role… Thats why I asked him if he thought Lansbury was capable is all.

200. choy says:

aha.. alright.

I think a defender is perfect foil for the DM role.

201. ManGoonian says:

I think it all depends if they are patient and willing to wait till they are 21+

202. Nick says:

i would like to see three hard working attack minded players on the pitch ie rosicky cesc nasri just to see if attack really is the best form of defence and all three do enjoy a tackle

big al
sagna gallas tv gibbs
nasri cesc rosicky
arshavin rvp eddie

what you all think

203. gazzap says:

there was nothing wrong with Diaby after all. the france tests show he is fine. wenger clearly tried to pull him out of the squad to prevent him from really getting a 3 week calf injury.

Bit disappointed TBH. might mean he walks straight back into the side against Sunderland.

204. ManGoonian says:

I think it would be effin great if a couple of our youths came thru and played regular for the 1st team. We have Gibbs, who showed nuffin really on loan at Norwich and now he is being tipped for England!

We may well get a surprise or 2 and see players come thru and do well, who we didnt expect at all…

205. Nick says:

i really think wenegr should convert a cb to the dcm position, not him but look at verminator he would be ideal there….so we should find a similar player and bobs your mothers brother :)

206. A says:

Yeah I got that Mang! I’d stick Lansbury in the same bracket as Ramsey regarding DM, someone who in the future at a push could fill in there, but we’d always be defensively fragile there without a naturally defensive player in there.

We’d get well and truly raped without a DM Nick – you could say we’d score more goals, but in reality we wouldn’t because we’d never get the ball back off the opposition, it would be like before Song came on at the weekend. There’s a difference between players who like a tackle, and are naturally very attacking, and those who are naturally defensive.

207. gunnergetyou says:

if denilson can play a whole season as a DM then Ramsey could probably do a similar job. Lansbury seems pretty versatile, he can play RB, RW or CM. his best oppotunity might be at RB, as we dont have any decent ones coming through, unless you rate Hoyte or Gilbert

208. choy says:

Only 4 defensive players?

We would get hammered!

209. insidealbania says:

Nick – I would love to see that line up. If the front 6 can keep the ball when under pressure it should limit the opposition’s chances.

210. A says:

gazzap they havn’t said there’s nothing wrong with him, he just isn’t ruled out, yet. I’d be surprised if he started against Sunderland, even if he’s fit Nasri will have had a 2 week rest and is very likely to start ahead of him.

Yeah you never know who’ll make it Mang – I wrote off both Watt and Eastmond as the two weakest players in the youth team a year ago, and said they’d never make it, and they’re two of the closest it would seem! Not that they’ve made it, but certainly not out of the question that they will!

211. Nick says:

it would be interesting though as long as we won ;)
Really though what about tv at dcm… just to see if it could work of course :?

212. SharkeySure says:

What do I think Nick…??I think you’ve had a long lunch at the Chandos. ;-)

Those three in MF would be too fragile…they’ll work hard enough all right, but if you just ain’t got the physical strength and size then its gonna be a struggle. Also that leaves us very short of inches defending set pieces….

CL they may get away with it…but Prem….no way for me

Sorry ;-)

213. ManGoonian says:

Nick;

Does Vermilli have a twin brother?

214. KM in WALES says:

.

215. A says:

ggy Denilson is naturally a defensive player, he has defensive reading of the game and instincts, whereas Ramsey and Lansbury see things from an offensive player’s perspective, there’s a big difference between them

216. Nick says:

sorry wrong question what does everyone think apart from sharkey :)

217. Nick says:

na but going by an earlier post by inside he has a sister :)

218. A says:

Nick I reckon Vermy would do a good job there – but there’s no way it would be worth losing him at the back, unless we cloned him somehow

219. SharkeySure says:

Verm could be monster at DM…he’s got everything…except I wonder ho whe would do without ‘having everything in front of him’ like he has at CB…and receiving passes under pressure in a busy midfield.

Its a big big change for a CB, defensivley no problem…offensively and retaining possesion would be the problem.

Thats where Song has to get a lot of credit for looking so composed and comfortable in the most crowded area of the pitch

220. gazzap says:

I think Rambo is more attacking than Den, but that is probably a good thing as long as he is playing with a proper DM (basically Song).
If Song isn’t there, Rambo is probably too attacking to replace him at DM. Den, Rambo and Cesc would probably be OK while song is not there.

221. Keyser says:

Milli Vermilli could be his twin brother.

222. Nick says:

13:05 if your interested…yes it took that long :)

223. insidealbania says:

yeah, his sister makes John ‘The son of a thieving mum and Coke-head dad’ Terry look like a pussy.

224. Duke says:

I would love our English players to get through, all of them. Wilshere, Theo, Lans, Jet, Gibbs, Watt, and even Ramsey (not being English).
That would be great.
Anyway I am out, see you tomorrow.

225. Nick says:

sharkey your laying it on a bit thick now calm and composed are not words i would associate with songs play job doing more like ;)

226. insidealbania says:

ok maybe I went too far there

227. A says:

gazzap I reckon with those three we could get bullied physically. Denilson is ok defensively there, but I think Diaby would have to play as one of the two midfielders to provide some physicality there.

Duke you missed out Bartley and Eastmond

228. Nick says:

maybe thats why Terry’s mums out on the thief coz the old man put the house keeping up his nose ;)

229. A says:

Nick Song is one of the calmest and most composed players around! Too much so at times though

230. Nick says:

no A you mean: slow on the uptake, lethargic, simple, stoned :)

231. gunnergetyou says:

duke ramsey, gibbs, theo and wilshire have already made it through imo

232. ManGoonian says:

So, its basically Eastmond, Coquelin and Frimpong who are our DM hopefuls then…

233. ManGoonian says:

Nick;

Look, its OK dude, Geoff aint around, so you dont have to pretend you hate Song like he does!!!

234. Nick says:

 mango you cheeky sod i dont hate him just remember how frustrating he was last year his still got some games to go before i trust him.

235. Nick says:

and any way Geoff said i could be vice president of the song is pony committee,so its my duty :)

236. ManGoonian says:

Tricky Nicky;

Come on mate! Song has played well for at least a year now. Consistently good too…

But you are under the thumb, I get it, no probs… Love is never havin to say you like Song or Denilson! :D

237. insidealbania says:

Yeah A, Song looks stoned, and believe me I know that look.

238. ManGoonian says:

Ha! I knew there’d be something in it for you!

239. Nick says:

Mango i like denilson just not with song eboue and diaby as the midfield.
denilson truly is a classy player song is not and dont even try to defend him coz i aint gonna read it.

240. Nick says:

carry on and there will be something in it for you, my toe up your ass

241. ManGoonian says:

Nick;

Oh you got room in your heart for Denilson, but not Song eh?

OK, I aint even gonna bother trying to convince you…

If you can’t see it, then I truely feel for you bruv!!!

242. ManGoonian says:

Ahh, the threat of violence…

The last resort when an argument has been lost! That makes me the winner then!

243. Nick says:

 mango you win

244. gunnergetyou says:

if song is stoned then he needs to be giving some of that shit to diaby and denilson. Its obviously doing something for him, cant be much worse than the crack diaby seems to be smoking

245. Dutchman says:

I have a question, does somebody believe that vela will leave??? For those people who think that he will leave, he will not. Because if one man is the man for the talent than it is wenger and wenger knows that vela will be a legend for us but he will not bring him soon, but slowly. He will stay and he will be our legend! Agree people???

246. Nick says:

i have question for you Dutchman do you think diaby is on skunk or super skunk??

247. Dutchman says:

Nick, what do you think about vela and his future???

248. Nick says:

think he will go to a spanish team good player but dont seem to be cutting it for us. hope your right though??

249. Dutchman says:

Wenger said two weeks ago that he not want to bring in some attacking players because of he had wilshere, merida, ramsey and vela coming trough. So, I really think that vela will take his chance.

250. gambon says:

I dont think Vela has a future with us.

I hope im wrong as i think he could be the best player in the league, but i just dont think Wenger likes him. I also think his constant travelling between here and mexico helps.

Also i think he still dont speak English, so i dont know how settled he is.

251. A says:

Not cutting it for us Nick?! He’s not been available, in 18 months I expect him to be considered one of the best players in the league, he’ll replace Arshavin eventually

252. Arsenal Tom says:

the travel thing with vela wont make a difference… wenger knew the situation when he signed him, he does seem to like an injury though

253. Nick says:

A his always injured or gets injured just as his gonna play.
his carrying a bit of green gate as well always backwards and forwards from mexico.
just dont think wenger will have the patience or him, to be fair.
im not saying im right or thats what i want, just a feeling i have hope its wrong tbh

254. Nick says:

fucking hell A am i that predictable :)

255. A says:

It will make a difference Tom – it’ll limit the amount of time he’s available to play, and the amount of time he trains with the team, so he’ll be at a disadvantage compared to other young players.

256. Arsenal Tom says:

A… I meant with wengers patience, if wenger was worried about all that he wouldn’t have signed him in the first place. he would have known the deal

257. Nick says:

A so his not as advanced as he should be, some cynical people could say not making the grade or cutting it then ;)

258. gazzap says:

Matuidi is saying nice things about St Etienne. but he still cant help mentioning Arsenal. Of course he would like to play at a massive club, but its good to hear him no slagging his current club. if we do get him, his attitude is good and bodes well for the future. ie he wont be looking at moving to AC milan every summer.

259. Nick says:

A there that 5 minutes rule i win again woho

260. rtist says:

The Mexican National Team f***cked Vela: the guy was needed because Mexico was in danger of not making the World Cup (yeah, they made it..airfare/hotel..first round..trip home). Mexico knew he was injured and drilled his ankle and knee with meds to keep him playing. Came back to Arsenal f***cked. This guy can flat out play. Forget that weird ass smile: he is a tough little fucker. And he does speak The English..better than Denilson..

261. Nick says:

are shpeaking the english is good but why is he a little tubby from the injury you think???

262. ManGoonian says:

Yes, Vela is ou the door, along with Theo, nasri, Cesc and RvP…

Sheeesh, you lot should write for the tabloids!

263. Nick says:

mango you think so too,sad aint it but theres other players that can do a job :)

264. Arsenal Tom says:

too many enchiladas mate

265. Nick says:

cant blame him for that there lovely

266. ManGoonian says:

Gots high hopes for Vela.. He’s been unlucky with injuries and I agree with rtist. He got fucked up by those loco Mexicanos!

267. Nick says:

i like him and hope he does what his gotta do he is the best finisher and exciting to watch my kind of player all the way

268. gunnergetyou says:

vela is a rare talent, and arsene knows that better than any of us.

he will be a big player for us in years to come, i dont think the travel is too much of an issue, it happens with all south american players anyway. messi is probably the best player in europe and he plays for argentina.

269. Nick says:

right we are in the last 45mins people good work the day is nearly done keep it up come on the grove

270. Nick says:

Ronaldo was the best until he went real now i think its cesc turn messi just gets the headlines

271. gunnergetyou says:

messi is current favourite for player of the year

272. ManGoonian says:

gunnergetyou;

Putting the word “knows” next to the name Arsene will get you flailed alive by the rabid hoardes like Nick and his despot leader/lover…

273. Nick says:

not mine,my opinion is the only one i care about ;)

274. gunnergetyou says:

still i must admit, i would’nt take messi over cesc, not now anyway

275. Nick says:

megan fox has never been on this blog and how did you know

276. ManGoonian says:

Cesc is/will be the biggest premier league player, swiftly followed by RvP, Nasri, Arshavin and Theo…

277. Nick says:

what to barca :?

278. ManGoonian says:

Dr Fox more like Nick…

279. gunnergetyou says:

lol, you crack me up mang!!

280. ManGoonian says:

Ha! Cesc aint goin nowhere… Not after the Premier League win this season…

281. Nick says:

where is Geoff you have popped him a few times today with no reply most unlike him,he must be golfing it up.

282. Nick says:

well when his on im telling so there :)

283. rtist says:

Tubby?..nah, your thinkin of that other Mexican: Dos Santos..half brasilian: big time party boy, reknowned crackhead.
Vela needs to get healthy..and stay away from that fuckin National side until the summer.

284. ManGoonian says:

“golfin it up”

Is that a euphemism for something Nick? care to elaborate?

Oh and grass mem up, see if I care! You can tell him tonight can’t you; Pillow talk!

285. Nick says:

rtist realy or are you just saying it coz his at the spuds??

286. Nick says:

dont start putting your deviant behavior on me you northern mincer ;)

287. ManGoonian says:

Giovanni Dos (bags of) Doritos is a tubby twat and loco fiesta de animale!

288. Arsenal Tom says:

renowned crackhead, lol!

he is a proper party boy though

289. Nick says:

haha but is a crackhead

290. ManGoonian says:

We are too busy breeding whippets and racing pigeons oop ere to have any time for mincing!

291. Nick says:

im sure you call it diffrant things but it amounts to the same thing ;)

292. Nick says:

right people im off have a good one :)

293. rtist says:

Yeah..he is a spud..papas in espanol..and signing for the Twitchy one’s crew is evidence that he and his agent share the same pipe..

294. nishanth says:

Turner won’t available for sunderland.Cattermole and jones is out too.Turner is one of their better players

295. gunnergetyou says:

spuds have spent more than all of the big four, £150m
plus they have a new stadium to pay for, time will tell what those cunts are really made of

296. gunnergetyou says:

nishanth im more worried about our players getting injured, i’ll be keeping an eye on arshavin this weekend thats for sure

297. Moray says:

is Jonny Evans Pike from Dad’s Army, or am I imagining it?

298. Jaguar says:

Diaby is being protected from the international break by Wenger so that he can be ready against the Chavs.FFS,what the fuck has that wanker done to get such preferential treatment?

299. Pat says:

Is Fever Pitch a good book?

300. gunnergetyou says:

sounds like diaby is in high demand

301. Pat says:

“If Barca do not want Yaya then I can name eight other clubs, some of the biggest in the world, that are interested in signing him,” Dimitri Seluk told radio station RAC-1.

“One thing I can say though is that if he does leave Barca he will not go to Manchester City because he will sign for a bigger club.”

The holding midfielder penned a new deal at the Nou Camp in the summer but having started just four games so far this season, it appears Toure’s patience has finally run out.

“We understand that in any big team there will be rotations, but why is it always the same player that is rotated? How come [Seydou] Keita has played 10 games and Yaya four?

“A few months ago we renewed the contract with Barcelona despite having offers from some very big clubs.

“My question now is why did Barca want to renew Yaya’s deal? To have him on the bench? I do not understand.”

302. Pat says:

Turner, Cattermole, and kenwyne Jones are all ruled out of the Sunderland-Arsenal match

303. A says:

lol preferential compared to who jaguar?! if silvestre had gotten a knock then got called up wenger wouldn’t want him to go on international duty, noone is getting preferential treatment compared to anyone else

304. rtist says:

Look out your front window Jaguar: Daiby is in the driveway..

305. Jaguar says:

Compared to all,A.He hasnt done anything worthy to be picked ahead of a fit Nasri,Rosicky. We will probaby have some injuries after the break,so that Wenger can still play Diaby.I would dump this theory/assumptions if Diaby doesnt play against Chelsea.

306. choy says:

It is Pat..

307. YON says:

There are 2 kinds of Arsenal fans: Arsenal fan (1) — Thinks Bendtner, Eboue, Denilson, Diaby, Song, Almunia and every other player in our squad is crap and that we need to buy at least 5 players to win anything. Arsenal fan (2) — Understands that we owe our current run to Song’s midfield masterclass, Understands that Denilson was ‘statistically’ the best defensive mid last season (even though it was his first and is only 21), understands that Diaby offers physicality and will improve with time with passing and decision making, understands that Eboue is a very useful squad player, understands that Bendtner scored 15 goals last season (1 MORE than Berba, the same as Teves and 1 less than 24 million Ade)… even though he is still 21. I am Arsenal fan number 2. What are you?

308. gunnergetyou says:

is nasri in the france squad??

309. Jaguar says:

2)I am 2 apart from the Diaby part,YON.

310. choy says:

nopes

311. LAzer says:

Thanks mimi…nasty is my middle name.

312. LAzer says:

*Yawn* yon…

313. Jaguar says:

(2) — Understands that we owe our current run to Song’s midfield masterclass, Understands that Denilson was ’statistically’ the best defensive mid last season (even though it was his first and is only 21), understands that Eboue is a very useful squad player, understands that Bendtner scored 15 goals last season and who believes
—————————————————-
And Diaby is a useless cunt who runs around the pitch like a headless chicken, hasnt shown no improvement in three years, gets selected not on his merit, rather on Wenger’s stubbornness to play him at any cost, and is the only factor, which prevents our team from being world class.

314. LAzer says:

Yaya is done at Barca seems like. Mash is done at Liverfool seems like. Match made in heaven? I would hate for the dippers to get him.

315. Jaguar says:

What about sending some brochures of Diaby to those bastards at Madrid.Adebaywhore one worked well.May be,we can try that for Diaby as well.

316. LAzer says:

Wow. they really are a bunch of blue ribboned silver up the arse pricks over at aclf. I would never post with that crowd, what a group of big worded clowns.

317. SUGA3 says:

Jaguar,

as you may know, I don’t rate much either, but he had quite a good game against Spuds and I reckon that he is not necessarily THAT shit, Wenger just plays him out of position and it is harming his game…

318. SUGA3 says:

*don’t rate him

319. goonermichael says:

Jaguar you must have an opinion on something apart from Diaby. He’s injured and won’t play for a while so you should forget he exists for a few weeks.

320. gooby says:

jaguar, can u just stop focusing all your energy on Diaby. he is not bad, he hasn’t reach his potential yet.

if AW plays him that means he is a good player. i trust wenger, and always will.

321. SUGA3 says:

frustrating as he is, he gave me a few smiles v Pompey this year ;)

322. SharkeySure says:

Yon…put me down as no.2

Jaguar – you really don’t ever see Diaby do ANYTHING good for this team..??

Not even the physicality and energy that he brings to the midfield..??

Do you think his size helps us defending set pieces when the only other six footer we have is RVP..??

Have you seen him win flick ons from our goal kicks..??

Nasri and Rosicky are both far superior players but its a team game and different players are suited to different jobs..!!

323. Jaguar says:

Yeah, like Arsene considers Silvestre better over Senderos,Gooby?

324. Jaguar says:

Dont start me talking about him,Sharkey mate.I cant remember a single time, when he has used his head(no pun intended) while playing the game, apart from that glorious effort against Manures.

325. gooby says:

ok jaguar.

who vote for jaguar as the next arsenal manager???

you are praising song now. i bet you were crying for a replacement last year and saying he is shit. it is so obvious, soon you’ll see what diaby can do, i like this player.

remember it is not like football manager. Wenger knows and he showed us already.

326. ManGoonian says:

Jabuar;

Your never ending, demented rabid ramblings about Diaby make you look like you have a thing for him!

Sort your nappa out sunshine! You’re makin a right tit of yourself….yet again!

327. ManGoonian says:

gooby;

All Jaguar ever says is something about Diaby. Regardless of whether we have just played, won 16-0, or whatever, I guarantee you, Jag’s 1st post will be a slating of Diaby!

I find it effin hilarious, but I am not a psychiatrist!

328. Jaguar says:

I have never criticised Song,Gooby.I have been so critical of Diaby,Shitvestre and Wenger. But apart from these,I’ve never had a go at any other player.

329. LAzer says:

Gooby your trust in all things Wenger is a bit overwhelming. Their are and always will be aspects to his management he could do better, and like all managers he has made mistakes. To trust him blindly is unnecessary imo, everyone needs a critic.

330. Jaguar says:

I lost the trust about his contractual policies, when he brought in that waste of space,Shitvestre on a two year contract, when Bobby the legend wasnt given the same.

331. SharkeySure says:

Jaguar…how you can watch games and not see any good Diaby makes you sound a bit short sighted.

His cool finish vs AZ..??

Two big saving tackles late vs Brum.

Clearing headers and flicks on vs Wolves.

You really missed all of that….incl his other 3 goals..??

332. ManGoonian says:

Jaguar;

You lie! You were way over the top with your criticism of Doris the tea lady!

333. SUGA3 says:

just checked my ticketing account on Arse.com ;)

massive leap for the mankind – 8K upwards, my position on the season ticket waiting list is somewhere in 33K region

Diaby, like Bendtner is just a bit too arogant and playing him off the bench with occasional start would leave him with a point to prove and improve his performances by a significant margin IMO…

do you make a young big headed player undroppable or do you keep him on his toes to teach him some humility? no brainer for me…

334. Pat says:

A source close to Barca told ESPN Soccernet: “Barcelona have made it clear they are talking about a loan deal only and it is hard to believe that will happen.”

“Barcelona were, at one time, very interested in Mascherano, but no longer. At one stage I would have said ‘yes’ that deal could happen, but now I would have to say ‘no’.

“I would say that Barcelona do not have the sort of funds to buy either Robinho or Mascherano.”

335. ManGoonian says:

LAzer;

Why does everyone need a critic? But we aint talkin about 1 critic are we? And, in the main, we aint talkin about constructive criticvism, or criticism with some perspective… In fact, it is quite stoopid to think that as Gooners, we can offer objective criticism, as fans, that just goes against the grain.. .

W

336. Jaguar says:

do you make a young big headed player undroppable or do you keep him on his toes to teach him some humility? no brainer for me…

—————————————————-
No brainer for everyone ,apart from Mr.Wenger.

337. ManGoonian says:

Suga3;

How do you know Diaby is arrogant? I have only seen him speak in very occasional interviews and he seemed quite, erm, quiet. Can’t say I was diggin his leather jacket mind…

338. Jaguar says:

He is too thick to be arrogant.Rather arrogance and stupidity are two sides of the same coin.

339. ManGoonian says:

Discuss something else Jaguar!

Come on, let’s see if it is possible for you? In fact, let’s see if you can do it for a few days…

Bet you can’t!

340. LAzer says:

Everyone needs a critic so they are honest in their job. Wenger was suprised at the shareholder meeting last year but it was a good wake up call albeit a bit over the top maybe. No one is above criticism in my book. And its the very opposite actually, the very nature of a fan makes you an automatic critic. I would like to think it is always constuctive but we have young brother Jag here to demonstrate the other side.

Still I would take the over the top with the balanced criticism any day rather everyone falling in line sheeps to the slaughter style.

341. SUGA3 says:

he isn’t thick, Jaguar, he just has poor work ethic and that is it – he must think he already made it, being udroppable…

I mentioned earlier that JET has all the ingredients to become Diaby Mk II if not managed properly…

I would rather keep them on their toes than let them think that sun shines out of their arses…

342. SharkeySure says:

LAzer…I hear ya but I’m also mainly/partly with Ooby on this one.

After a disappointing end to last season I’ve had to read some really out of order slatings of the great Arsene on here (and other places).

It went far beyond criticising individual errors he had made

Some posters and bloggers really set themselves up as knowing better than Arsene…unbelievable when you think of it. One of them (nameless) flew into rages if anyone dared suggest that Arsene knew better than he did.

Arsene resisted all the criticism and ‘advice’ from ex-pros and pundits alike over the summer…and we’ve not had a bad start so far.

I say Arsene Knows cos over the years I have doubted many things he has attempted but so many of them turned out way beyond my wildest dreams.

The way we play the game is beyond my wildest dreams.

I trust and believe in Arsene…why the fuck wouldn’t I (no offence intended).

Arsene banked £40m selling two players and banked the money !!

Arsene tod us that Rosicky and Eduardo wouild be like two new signings..thatreally got peoples bacjs up…but its turned out to be true.

Our CF – RVP £2.75m. Shitty’s CF – £25-26m. Man U’ s £30m + £32m. BlueScum – £24m.

Arsene’s a fucking genius …end of story.

343. Jaguar says:

What else MG?I can rant and rave all day about our Arshavins and Fabs. But at the end of the day,I have to be content with a misfit headless chicken in my favourite team’s line up.Thats a disgrace

344. SharkeySure says:

Favourite team Jag….?? How many others you support then??

345. ManGoonian says:

LAzer;

You said it yourself, the shareholders stick was over the top. Calling Silvestre a “geriatric” was shit that us on here might say (even though at 31, he aint!) But for shareholders to shout it at the managers face is fuckin out of order and disrespectful… Like saying your Missus is a slag or something!

Of course we slate and berate and we have our own ideas about formations and player selection (some more obsessive tha others!)

But, what I mean is, as fans, it is very very hard to be objectively critical, in fact its impossible as we have the club in our hearts, innit…

Wenger has made mistakes, as fergie has and all managers and if you hang around long enough, you will get people who want change for the sake of it and come up with all kinds of shite to throw at them to try and make people change their minds too…

Just look at the Labour government!

346. Jaguar says:

I am a closet Chav,Pool,Spuds and Manure fan.Does that answer your question,Sharkey?

347. SharkeySure says:

Scum U fans wanted Fergie out before his hat trick of titles and b2b CL finals !

348. LAzer says:

Look Sharkey you don’t need to provide the list to me mate, I could add another 50 things on their proving Arsene is a genius. My one and only point is no one is above criticism, that’s all. The nature of the criticism is of course up for debate and many of us react very negatively but that goes hand in hand with being a fan as well.

Believe me Arsene knows this too and accepts it.

349. ManGoonian says:

Jaguar;

This isnt therapy fella! Go to a group session if you need to rant and rave all the time! This is supposed to be a blog where can discuss, debate and joke about ALL THINGS ARSENAL!

Not just slating Diaby!

Move the fuck on, please!!!

350. SharkeySure says:

Yeah it does Jag…and thats a first…you generally ignore the questions I ask you.

I give you specific examples of good play by Diaby and you just ignore them.

Can I get a comment on his four goals from you…??

351. leon says:

at the moment we have five cb vern gallas silvest dj and senderos, the way i see it is dj and senderos are 3-4 defenders and silvest is just there in case either of them gets injured, and dj will be fighting for a place and maybe senderos.alot fans say just dump silvest and get better centre half cover,i think people will find that not be very easy to do because as 5th defender he is not there as competition for a place he is only there in case 3-4 defender gets injuured and will be willing warm the bench for the whole season if needed,i realy dought any decent defender 23-29 who will be happy to that.i dont think silvest is that bad alot fans are judging him last season were he was on the bench for almost the whole season and was injured for half the season so was very rusty, and therefore needed are a real commander next to him and toure has never been that type he needed a adams type defender next to him,i know he would have done alot better with vern next to him becuase he is real commander and leader you can tell

352. LAzer says:

Believe me I hear both of you, Sharkey/MG and I reckon we are on the same side of the debate really. I just don’t like the blind trust bit on Wenger or for that matter anyone. Objectivity is of course a problem but for every muppet slagging for no reason there are ones making valid points.

We should not simply brush our criticism under the rug if things turn out alright for the time being, bit of a Nazi-ish attitude that.

353. SharkeySure says:

Fair play LAz..I didn’t mean to be so patronising… but you were here all summer, you know what I’m talking about.

Almost every mn and his dog thought they knew better, not on the details, but on the whole picture.

Now..looking back, its laughable, back then it used to drive me fucking mad !!

Grrrrr.. ;-)

354. Jaguar says:

I am off for a bit.I hope,I wouldnt have to start with a swear word the next time,I post a comment here(That means the absence of a certain name from the team sheet).

355. SharkeySure says:

Jag…give me the fucking comment before you go or whats the point…??

356. Zorr0 says:

Evenin’ all!

MG, long time no speak! How’s it hanging?

357. SUGA3 says:

leon,

it is not about getting rid of 5th choice and assuming that replacement will be 5th choice as well – I think we should get someone to rotate with Willy as TV’s partner, now let’s analyse our options at the moment, hmmm…

- Senderos? thanks, but no thanks, he could do well in DM though
- Djourou? long term injury means he can easily write off the current season and the next season he will be finding his feet
- Silvestre? don’t get me started…

358. ManGoonian says:

LAzer;

I think we are fella. Well, I hope so!

Thing is, I am not even aware of these blind faith Gooners you refer to? I have been called an AKB, then a Doomer! My natural inclination is want the best for my club, players and manager… If the manager thinks this player will make it, then, OK, he might have an inkling of a clue!!!

Even though I seriously doubted it, I never slated Song and by association Wenger the way in which quite a few have done.

That for me, is worse than the blind faith thing you speak of…

But, I am fooked now! :D

359. LAzer says:

haha@last summer and most of last year Sharkey. Trust me I know EXACTLY where you coming from…use to be a daily battle on here

I’ll admit I did my bit of rants and raves but didn’t break down all into the dramatic camp.

Alls well that ends well really, and like have always said I would like nothing more then Wenger and the boys to prove all of us wrong this year. Still early days but plenty to look forward to.

360. ManGoonian says:

Zor0;

Yes mate! All good bruv…

How’s tings your end???

361. SUGA3 says:

Silvestre may not be bad, and given all the stick he gets from some Gooners, quite professional, but what does it tell you if SAF offloaded him for 750K and that he was behind Johnny fucking Evans in the pecking order?

362. SharkeySure says:

No wories LAz…it was just the repeated presentation of Arsene as a clueless c**t that always got to me.

I’ve never had a problem with anyone making rational criticisms/arguments even if I completely disagree with their conclusions.

The problem is that after any bad results it was like everyone came on here after ten bottles of Stella.

But you’re deffo right this irrational behaviour is a lot wider than football….I mean even after the WMD fiasco Bush abd Blair both got voted back in on either side of the pond.

363. Pedro says:

Sharkey, you’re having a bit of an Arsene orgy over there…

You can Champ up the season so far, but to steam that heavily into Arsene knows territory, this early, seems like you’re setting yourself up for a fall… kind of like the people who predict the whole world will cave in after a loss.

Arsene has got it horribly wrong over the past few seasons and you’re talking about him like he’s beyond reproach?

ManG, I think the guy who asked the question had been a share holder / season ticket holder… if it’s an open floor, you have the right to ask an open question. Arsene took that whole thing way too much to heart and I think David Dein said something to that effect?

He’s getting it right this season, lets hope it ends in a trophy… but busting out arsene knows is a bit preachy Sharkey…

Jaguar, change the subject… please… change the subject.

364. Pedro says:

Sharkey, I think a lot of people do come here after 10 bottles of stella… I’m pretty sure ManG has, and the rest ;-)

365. Zorr0 says:

All good matey! Enjoying the footy, little worried about injuries starting to kick in now though!

Anyway, what do people think of Diaby then? lol

366. ManGoonian says:

Suga3;

Wenger said he didnt want to rotate the CBs as they are forming a good partnership. Therefore, we would need to sign a CB who was happy to sit on the bench for weeks, maybe months on end, only getting reserve and maybe FA Cup games…

Who do you think would come in under those circumstances? And in a World Cup year too…?

I was gutted when Djourou got injured, as he was that very player, for me. But there are a lot on here who feel Senderos can do a job for us as well. And i am inclined to go along with them.

367. SharkeySure says:

LAz you remember you(?) did a scaling thing with Geoff at one end (far right anyone?) and me and someone else at the other end regarding how positive/negatively LG’ers viewed the new season???

Could be due an update ??

368. Zorr0 says:

Pedro, you got that spot on, definitely some alcohol fuelled rants on here some days! Gotta love them!

369. Pedro says:

Zorro, I know I do it… I’ve written whole posts and trashed them in the morning!

370. Zorr0 says:

Sharkey, keep up the positivity mate!

371. Pat says:

Madrid 0-0 at half time

372. ManGoonian says:

Pedro;

Hahaha! I am teetotal man!

And if Sharkey wants to dive headlong into Arsene Knows waters, you just let him be fella! :D

373. SharkeySure says:

Ped you know the stick I used to get for being a proud AKB (my own definition of one anyways).

Seriously Arsene was getting slaughtered on here morning noon and night.

As far as I’m concerned the doubters have been proven wrong, thats my opinon and I’m sticking to it.

This season was supposed to be a total disaster cos we only had the one signing, and the stick he got when he talked about Eddy and Tom as new signings

So far we have seen a complete transformation in our teams approach and barring two dodgy results the season has been a fucking revelation.

Back in a bit…..

374. London says:

At least 10 ;)

375. Pedro says:

I don’t think anything has been proved yet… this time last year, the press were talking about Brown as future England material… a few months later, well…

There are plenty of ifs and buts… and I still think we’re defintly a player short at the back and in my opinion, a player short in the middle.

You’re taking the minority view and casting it as the majority…

376. georgian1gunner says:

do you hear ?? german goalkeeper Robert Enke has died ..

377. Pedro says:

What happened?

378. LAzer says:

I’ll do the scaling on here again one of these days…maybe after the next time we have some problems and there is grove rage. just haven’t been following all the debate recently so lost track of the extremes. Plus maybe was a bit unfair to be ranking views on my part…

even Geoff that ol’ (young) mungler has lightened up these days and we sadly lost taliban Jimbo in the mix somewhere. Wish he would return, he was an easy no.1 on the debbie downer side.

379. georgian1gunner says:

I don’t know exactly what happened…

380. SUGA3 says:

fair point about the World Cup, MG…

but I cringe when I think what happens if Willy gets injured (and he seems to be getting quite a few knocks recently) – we have fuck all depth there given our luck with injuries IMO…

381. London says:

Nothing has yet been confirmed about the cause of death, but according to German source Morgenpost Online, early signs point towards suicide.

The website quotes a spokesperson from the Hannover police as saying, “Enke has thrown himself under a train at Neustadt am Rübenberge.”

382. Zorr0 says:

8 a side calls! Laters chaps!

383. Pedro says:

That is fucking horrific…

Didn’t he used to play in England?

Have a good one Zorro!

384. ManGoonian says:

Pedro;

Who/what is trying to portray a minority view ans the majority one and why are you talkin like david cameron???

People are only giving their own views, from what I can tell… well, myself and Sharkey…

It is normally people about to slate a player who sart off by saying..

“Well, its obvious to everyone that xxx is fucking shite…”

___________________

Enke is apparantly suicide…

385. ManGoonian says:

Zorr0;

Laters bruv, take care…

386. ManGoonian says:

Wow, the German journalist who was talkin about the Enke death/suicide, spoke better English than the British hacks…

387. leon says:

i feel that silvest may be past his best but he real pro very experienced hed for younger players commingthrough and will be used for carling cup and fa cup games and it gives vern and gallas a rest sometimes as well his performaces were poor last season no question but feel he can play better than that but was not helped by tour who i am sorry i would have expected alot more from toure than that,i was one of the first to call for for silvest to sold but think more and more i feel he realy helps the young players and he will not be used for prem games.i feel its more likely he would put song back there to cover and use delinson, daiby, ramsey,or nasri one those players dm position,i would keep silvest for carling cup and fa cup games

388. LAzer says:

too much positivity for my taste, its been 11 weeks, our injury list keeps getting longer, we have a rash of tough fixtures in Jan when Song and Eboue are away for ACN, Manure and Chavs will spend money in Jan, Gerrard and Torres will get healthy, and we have been down this road before. No way, am on the fence, the team has a lot to prove and a long way to go.

389. London says:

Leon

you forgot to include Rosicky, who plays that role as captain for his country

390. ManGoonian says:

Worrying about shit that hasnt happened and may not is for the birds…

Masochists, the lot of yers…

391. London says:

The Chavs are our only competition this season

392. ManGoonian says:

LAzer;

We have had a shit load of injuries and by the end of this month, early Dec, we will have most of those players back, bar Djourou…

And EVEN with all those injuries, we have done well. But feel free to jump off that bridge fella!

393. SharkeySure says:

Pedro – you had your ten already..??

You’ve got your majority and minority back to front there.

This site is well known for its ‘gloom and doom’ and its Arsene slating, thats almost a fact, not quite, but a lot of people in blogland believe it to be so.

I can see why they think that but I don’t believe it was ever completely true or fair.

If they persevered a bit like I did, then they’d find some decent knowledgeable bloggers here as well as the ‘wifebeaters’.

Ps. Do you remember my first ever post….lol

394. leon says:

london seriously risicky plays dm player i never new i have seen player there before but he such a great threat attacking wise i rather use him attacking midfielder but i never new he could play

395. SharkeySure says:

ManG you fucking kill me….that bollox earlier about lovers and pillow talk was absolute classic

396. Pat says:

Madrid fans chanting for Pellegrini to get sacked

397. London says:

It just goes to show how injuries are the luck of the draw, if the mancs loose Rooney and Berbatov the are fucked, if the chavs loose Drogba and Anelka they are fucked if we loose Vermaelen and Gallas we are fucked, the dippers have already lost Gerrard and Torres and look at them.

398. Pat says:

Rosicky plays box to box for the Czechs, not CDM. He’s everywhere, doesn’t really have a position. Their game against Holland highlighted that when Rosicky was MOTM, or was it Baros? Either way, Rosicky was immense

399. London says:

Leon

It’s more deep lying play maker rather than DM, think Alonso and you get the idea

400. Confidentgoner says:

My money is on Madrid loosing this match and sacing the coach the following day

401. SharkeySure says:

All good points LAz… but I look at how we have coped with the injuries so far, and I can only be pleased.

I look at the quality of subs we can make in recent games and I’m happy.

I’ve said many times its not only about winning shiny things for me.

402. London says:

Bet Wenger wished he had taken the Madrid job. Lol

403. ManGoonian says:

Pat;

What game are you watching mate???

Sharkey;

Haha! Cheers fella!

404. London says:

Are Madrid playing in the Copa del Rey? If they are it is about as important as the CC, meaning not very.

405. Pedro says:

Sharkey, it’s like anything isn’t it… the extremists tar the moderates…

I think I’m pretty fair and I wouldn’t say I’m in the minority… people like BBK and Jimbo are though.

Personally I think it’s a good balance… and the very fact that we get so many comments compared to sites of great positivity is a testament to that. Shit, we even get positive comments in the fanzines! I really care little for the thoughts of bloggers on sites like ACLF etc… ManGoonian aside of course!

I believe your first e-mail resulted in an exchange of e-mails?!

406. Pat says:

Copa del Rey is like the FA Cup. Alcoron beat Madrid 4-0 in the first leg. We’d murder Alcaron with our CC team. They’re 3rd tier ffs

407. SharkeySure says:

London – Losing two CBs could be a problem, but lets not pretend that Silv and Sendy are guaranteed to give up 3 goals per game every game.

We’ll still play most of most matches in the opposition half…..

Im not sure that losing one or both of them is the absolute death knell that some would paint it to be.

But if you look at Rooney, Drogba, Torres..then yo know thathose three teams could not cope.

I just don’t see us being so dependent on any one (or two) individuals.

Just the goal roll alone tells me that.

408. Pedro says:

London… the outlay madrid have spunked, every trophy is important…

409. Pedro says:

Sharkey, losing Gallas or Vermaelen would be a disaster… it was last year and it was the year before.

I’d be happier if it was JD stepping in…

410. SUGA3 says:

MG,

Madrid v Alcorcon – the second leg of the Copa del Rey round…

it was the first leg where they conceded 4 without reply

it’s like we lost 4:0 to Leyton Orient…

as I type this, VdV scores (80th min)

411. Pat says:

1-0 Madrid. Need 3 more in 10 minutes

412. London says:

That’s not how I believe it works in Spain Pedro, very different there, you get the sack if you don’t win the CL, hell they even sack managers when they do, Del Bosque being the example, they really don’t give a toss about this one.

413. leon says:

london all those players are world class and any team would have problems if they lose those kinds of players who ever wins the prem will need some luck with injuries

414. ManGoonian says:

Pedro;

Thanks for that! I try to give good blog!

If we lost Vermilli or gallas during january then that MIGHT be a problem, any other time of the season and we would cope…

Now, I hope that has untwisted a few pairs of knickers out there…?

415. Pedro says:

I’m sure they wont sack him… but like Pat said, they chanting to get him out already… it’s not looking good.

416. London says:

Sharkey

The only point I was trying to make is that so much of what happens with injuries is in the lap of the Gods

417. David says:

SharkeySure Says:
November 10, 2009 at 19:40

Fair play LAz..I didn’t mean to be so patronising… but you were here all summer, you know what I’m talking about.

Almost every mn and his dog thought they knew better, not on the details, but on the whole picture.

Now..looking back, its laughable, back then it used to drive me fucking mad !#

—————————————–

We arent even half way to the season and your saying its laughable?

Delusional is the word.

418. SharkeySure says:

Pedro…you’re a beacon of fairness.

I’ve remarked on that many times…totaly objective when required, and when you;re not you even tell us why not…can;t ask for more than that.

1st post..yeah thats the one. Luckily it was you moderating that day and not ‘your cousin’!!

Anyways you can go fuck yourself now and have Stella’s no.11 and 12 before ManG accuses me of fawning over you

419. ManGoonian says:

Suga3;

Thanks mate.

London;

Normally I would agree, but Real expect to win every game this season and after barca won the treble last year, Madrid cannot go out to a 3rd tier team! Plus, they aint been too happy with Pelligrini for a while now…

420. David says:

Lol

Sharkey did you forget to be “mature” today?

421. Pat says:

Madrid have hit the bar 3 times in the 2nd half

422. Pedro says:

haha, Cheers Sharkey!

Right, I’m off… Play nice and say no to horse riding.

423. ManGoonian says:

Stop being a suck up Sharkey!!

424. Pedro says:

David, don’t be starting trouble ya hear?

425. SharkeySure says:

Up pops Mr Logical…just as I was leaving …..shame that

Hope you have a lovely time on here tonight David… no honestly, I really do !!

426. SharkeySure says:

Fair point London…no worries

427. David says:

Well Pedro

Seems abit unfair I cant tell an AKB to shut the fuck up but the AKB can tell people to go fuck themselves.

I feel like Fergie and the refereeing now adays.

428. SUGA3 says:

Alcorcon nearly equalised…

429. Confidentgoner says:

i wouldn’t want Higuain or Gago for free.

430. SUGA3 says:

in 10 minutes time Barcelona FC is to face the might of Cultural Leonesa

431. A says:

David – he was joking….

Madrid’s fans are hilarious, most football fans are fickle, ours more than most, but Madrids are just on another planet, crazy there, the board don’t help obviously

432. A says:

Confident Higuain is an absolutely quality player, I’d love him at the emirates!

433. SharkeySure says:

Look up – its flown right over yer head !!

434. London says:

ManG

Think Benitez and the CC and you will get an idea of how Madrid treat the Copa del Rey, I haven’t seen Madrid’s team tonight but I would bet alot of money that Kaka is not playing.

435. choy says:

Evening David.. did you read the news today

436. keith says:

London-I only saw the last few mins online but kaka was playing may have been a sub though I guess

437. SUGA3 says:

London,

how much do you bet then?

438. ManGoonian says:

London;

I think Madrid played the likes of Alonso, Arbeloa and Benzema in the 1st leg mate and Gitti too. Hardly the resrves and yutes buddy…

David;

Come on mate, let’s be nice. You wouldnt catch me starting any fights on here…ahem…

439. SUGA3 says:

Copa del Rey is supposed to be the king’s cup (as far as my shit Spanish goes) and RM is supposed to be the king’s club – I think they played their first team bar Benzema and injured prancing poof…

440. David says:

Really A?

Higain is a bit slow and how is his link up play?

441. A says:

Mang you won’t find anyone play their full team until the final, it’s like the league cup. It’s only us who plays the entire youth and reserves! Casillas, Ramos, Alonso, Benzema rested today, Kaka wouldn’t have played if it wasn’t for the 4 goal deficit

442. A says:

He’s quick David…. And his link up play is exceptional, it’s only his finishing that used to be questionable, but in the last 18 months he’s totally turned that around, quality player imo, would be perfect for us, very intelligent, creative, good technique

443. ManGoonian says:

A;

I know how little the Liga sides take the Copa del Rey, it has been a piss poor trophy for years..

What I was saying is that, due to the Medridistas not wanting Pelegrinni about any more and the pressure put on him by Peres, this game has taken a lot bigger importance than usual.

Plus Barca winning it on their way to the treble kinda sticks in their collective throats too!

444. A says:

Yeah true Mang, although I’m sure Pelegrinni won’t get the sack after this, it’ll be a bit longer yet – still a massive humiliation losing to a side like that regardless of the competition and side put out!

445. gooner786 says:

Werder Bremen insist they are keeping their ‘cool’ over reports linking Mesut Ozil with a move away from the club.

The latest links have claimed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is lining up a bid for the highly-rated midfielder.

The 21-year-old has less than two-years left on his current deal, but Werder are insistent they are not worrying about this latest batch of speculation.

“We have to deal with all rumours regarding Mesut’s future,” Werder’s general manager Klaus Allofs told Bild.

“I am not annoyed by them, we keep being relaxed on it. I just hope Mesut and his agent keep cool, too.

“It would definitely be better, in fact, if his contract would be a longer one.

“But up to now there are no further talks and also no agreement when to pick up contract talks between the club and Mesut Ozil

446. YON says:

IMPORTANT!!!

(I took a picture with Joan Laporta (Barca President) at a Friendly match they had in Seattle during the summer). I was wearing my Arsenal shirt.

447. ManGoonian says:

Mr B;

Why did you post that?

You a Reptilian Repulsive Republican???

Please don’t get me started on politics dude…

448. ManGoonian says:

“I think the complaining is a measure of how spoiled we’ve become,” he said. “When I started going they hadn’t won anything for 17 years, and there was nothing between 1971 and 1979, or ’79 and 1987.

“Most teams don’t win anything most years. Why do West Ham fans buy season tickets? Or Everton fans? Because they love their team and they like getting out of the house of a weekend to watch a game.

“We’ve had two finals and four or five semi-finals in those four years, and one of the finals was in the Champions League, and though losing those games was disappointing, it still meant that we had something to play for at the business end of the season.”

He added: “In the end it’s about whether you enjoy going or not, and anyone who hasn’t enjoyed watching Arsenal in the last few years, especially at home, can’t really like football much.”

449. SharkeySure says:

ManG….earlier I said its not just about winning shiny things didn’t I.

Every time I hear ’4 years without a trophy’ I roll my eyes…and wonder how so many Arsenal fans have fallen for that media driven fucking shite.

450. David says:

hi choy

Apologies friend my PC was acting up!

Yes i read the news today (I assume the Bendy news)

I even went as far as reading some Daily mail news Article about how Bendy is a big loss.

Last time I will read the Daily Mail again.

A,

Ive seen Higuain lose out a foot race with Puyol and Thiago Silva isnt the quickest defender out there!

451. David says:

Sharkey what would it be about then? Playing “pretty foottie”???

Is fabregas also part of the “media driven bulshite”?

452. SharkeySure says:

I get wholeheartedly laughed at on here when I say that I was more proud of our 2006 CL Final defeat than our FA Cup win the year before.

I once asked (respectfully of course!) if being obsessive about silverware made someone a glory hunting c**t…

I never got an answer to that one….

453. SharkeySure says:

Thanks for your two questions David…

I hope asking them has added to your enjoyment this evening. No honestly, I really do.

454. SUGA3 says:

there is a programme on More4 in 4 minutes which will tell the story behind Eduardo’s celebration vest sign if anyone’s interested ;)

455. SUGA3 says:

Sharkey,

yes, it is about trophies, club like ours does not play to come second or make the top four…

the better if these trophies come without compromising out 100 mph style Tru Globetrottah style…

‘Rock’n'rolla wants the fucking lot’

456. David says:

Another typical AKB response.

I wish the world could share your low standards of what “success” and “genius” is.

Ultimately you are judged on silverware.

Thats how football works.

I have no respect for people who are just happy to clap their hands and cheer when we dont win shite year in and year out than to look retrospectively at what might have gone wrong…

but then again.

Fabregas who says is all about winning trophies is a glory seeking c*nt….what does he know.

457. ManGoonian says:

Suga3;

Yes, thanks, I would be interested, ta…

Sharkey;

I think peoplem assume that, if you dont go all ape shit monkey or Joe Pesci in Goodfellas about the lack of silverware, then you dont want the team to win, are an apologist, or whatever…

Boring, puerile, childish bull shit if you ask me…

Of course the players will try their best to win stuff this season and they have made a great start. I actually think we will win a trophy this year and I will be effin chuffed about that, especially as I have had to endure the shite dished out to me by my United supporting mates!!!

But, if we don’t, I will be gutted, of course, but shit happens and what are you gonna do???

Well, hopefully a few doomers will top themselves!!! Joke!

458. SUGA3 says:

MG,

I just recall a few games last season when they just came out looking like they did not give a fuck, which resulted in getting beaten by Hull, Stoke et al…

I am happy to see players putting in a good shift, but I think we could do with one more player – Monsters’R'Us like purchase will do for me…

Yaya?

*drools*

459. gnarleygeorge9 says:

ManGoonian re your united mates

Its pay back time, chamoneeeeeeeee

460. ManGoonian says:

Suga3;

I hear ya. last season I witnessed some of the worst performances under Wenger. There were times each weekend when i had no confidence we would win a game, who ever it was we were playing. The Hull game, the spud 1 at the Grove and Fulham and Stoke away, of course (shit! I posted on here, when we played Stoke for everyone to put their mortgage on a Stoke win and Ive never done that before!)

Why did that happen? Well, maybe due to 2 bad influences i the dressing room that are not there any more??

The turn around this season is huge. Not just the goals, but the hunger and desire shown by the team, in EVERY game, not just the so called big matches.. hat for me is fantastic and now I fully expect us to win every weekend… Not saying that’ll happen, but you get my gist…

As for the monster… I like many was hoping/expecting at least 1 or 2 signings… That didnt happen and we have doen OK, so far. I still would like a signing, basically because of our record with injuries.. We shall see in jan.

461. David says:

says dont knock a scouser off a pushbike, its probably YOUR pushbike

462. SUGA3 says:

and a few ridiculous selections did not help the matters either – after the FA Cup semi against Chavs I was like ‘WTF?’

they were just sooo beatable on that day…

real shame it dented the confidence in Wenger and resulted in the ‘geriatric’ blast – not directly, but still…

463. SharkeySure says:

Suga3…thanks for the tip, I’m recording the 11pm showing.

I honeymooned in Rio a few years ago so I’ve a thing for all things Brasilian especially favela life and the economics and politics of poverty. City of God is the film you need to see if you haven’t already.

Re the silverware, lets agree to disagree, your champions in May then its back to square one in August. Other than that ManG has pretty much covered it all for me.

Don’t get me wrong I’ve been at Highbury on title winning days and loved every fucking second of it…and then the parade as well.

But I’ve also been there and had the news come in that Tottenham had collapsed after leading at OT meaning we were now losing the title.

You gotta know that some of us sung ‘We love you Arsenal’ just as loud as if we’d lost..not in the same spirit of course..but thats support…thru thick and thin.

Ask ManG about the Wolves fan on Saturday.

Not having a dig Sug..just trying to explain it a bit

464. ManGoonian says:

Suga3;

I think we should’ve beaten the chavs anyways. A couple of individual mistakes did us in, as we were the better team… Arshy should’ve played though, in hindsight of course…

That Brazillian documentary is effin intense, really good mate, ta for tellin us…

465. SUGA3 says:

yeah, I am watching, some hardcore stuff…

Dudu must be one of these ‘not gangster or scumbag’ types ;)

466. Zorr0 says:

Back fellas, peace love and harmony as usual I see!

467. Zorr0 says:

Sharkey, I agree about the champs lge loss being better than the FA cup win by the way!

468. gnarleygeorge9 says:

SharkeysSure

On the point of wolves fans. Did I here them singing @ the end “4-0 then you fucked it up” ;)

469. Zorr0 says:

Gnarley, G’day! Yeah I heard that too, not exactly worth it as a cuss I reckon! Give them credit for hanging around to the end I suppose.

470. SUGA3 says:

playing Arshavin there was a no brainer really, given the circumstances, his form and the fixture list…

I think I just saw a fella wearing Arsenal-like top in that documentary ;)

471. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Fair point ZorrO, They are a club with some history. I saw Robert Plant in the stands, trying to give wolves a whole lotta love :)

472. A says:

Mang I don’t believe that it’s possible to say that Arshavin should’ve played in hindsight.

I raised my eyebrows as did everyone else, and because of the result, people claim it’s therefore categorically wrong, but I disagree, and consider the facts to show arguably the opposite.

Firstly we couldn’t pass the ball for shit, neither could Chelsea, neither could Utd the following day, the pitch was an absolute joke, and a massive hindrance for technical players like Cesc, VP, and for Arshavin when he came on.

Secondly we totally nullified Chelsea, and absolutely matched them and competed physically. We lost because of individual errors, not because of tactics. Arshavin being on the field wouldn’t have any bearing whatsoever on Fabianski deciding to run out of goal, nor turned Silvestre into superman able to keep pace and strength with Drogba.

473. gooby says:

wow robert plant

474. SUGA3 says:

A,

but we would be in with a chance of scoring more goals, no?

475. ManGoonian says:

A;

I kinda said all that fella! The Arshavin thing, was in hindsight!

ie; coz we lost! In hindsight, it means, that something different shouldve happened…

Gnarelygeorge;

Yeah, cant wait to see my United mates feelin the pain of an Arsenal title and me on my own, on an open top bus, with a plastic Premier league trophy in my hand, in an Arsenal kit larging down Sir Matt Busby Way, past OT in May 2010!!!

476. goonermichael says:

The cup final was embarassing but ultimately funny because we robbed the mancs and scholes missed. And paddy scored to lift the cup with his last kick of his Arsenal career. I was proud about the CL final but that didn’t make up for the disappointment of losing.

477. ManGoonian says:

The Wolves fans sining got louder, the more goals they shipped! At 3-0 we thought they were gonna fuck off, but to their credit, they sang their little black country hearts out!

Wolves used to be a big club and I am sure their fans back then, whenever it was, thought they had a devine right to win shit… Things change and fortunes change too… Otherwise, the likes of preston, Burnley and Sheff Wednesday would be in the Champions league…

478. ManGoonian says:

goonermichael;

I larfed my knackers off when we beat the Mancs! It was hilarious! Especially given the way the scousers had robbed us the previous year…

479. Zorr0 says:

MG. It was funny, but ultimately we were shite that day, very defensive and I personally did not enjoy that win as much as I felt proud of the boys in Paris the following year.

480. A says:

Yeah Mang but I don’t agree with that! Everytime you lose a game, you can’t say that the tactics or team selection were wrong. With exactly the same team and tactics, against exactly the same team with the same tactics, in exactly the same situations, you could win or lose easily. One day someone will fluff a shot over the bar, another time in identical situation he’ll smash it in the top corner, in really tight games regardless of tactics and team selection they can go either way, depending on the rub of the green.

481. A says:

Something being wrong in hindsight means that you wouldn’t make the same decision in the same situation, imo everything that was dependant on tactics in that game worked, so I’d play exactly the same team and tactics, and we’d probably win next time!

482. SUGA3 says:

so you would play Diaby over Arshavin then, A?

483. SharkeySure says:

A. I salute you, as a man who is NOT ‘fooled by randomness’

484. ManGoonian says:

A;

Have you forgotten to take your anti-pedantic pills today fella? Jeeeeez! Knock it on the head already! In hindsight basically means doin do,ething different to attain a different/positive outcome…

Now… LEAVE IT!

485. ManGoonian says:

something different… Thats what I meant anyways…

486. A says:

Diaby didn’t play over Arshavin SUGA – VP did….

There isn’t a situation now which would be the same, we no longer have Adebayor at the club, the Wembley pitch isn’t as ridiculous as it was then.

Going back to that game, I would’ve decided between Arshavin and Theo, but Theo has much more pace, and does more work defensively, and Ashley Cole is good going forward, so there are definite reasons why Theo would’ve played rather than Arshavin

487. SUGA3 says:

Arshavin was on fire back then and would wreak havoc in Diaby’s place – Diaby was piss poor in that game, slowed us down by taking ages to release the ball and trying to dribble his way through: with Arshavin we’d see more snappy one touch football and besides, which of the two is more likely to bang in a screamer?

488. ManGoonian says:

Fuck it, this Brazilian documentary has given me a cravin for drugs, booze and loose women… I am sooo glad I recorded that early this afternoon…

489. A says:

Sorry Mang – people always talk as if that was proven to be a mistake, which is just gibberish in my eyes! You wouldn’t be any more likely to reach a more positive outcome by doing something different, as you would by doing exactly the same!

490. ManGoonian says:

IN HINDSIGHT (check me out baby!)

I wouldnt have played Eboue….

tah darrrr!

491. SUGA3 says:

well, I would still play Arshavin instead of Diaby – AW tried his way, it clearly didn’t work out, so he should have subbed him earlier, but no, we needed to build up his confidence ahead of Manure game, in which he was as shit…

492. A says:

SUGA3 if Arshavin had played in midfield we would’ve been well and truly raped. Noone could wreak havoc on that pitch, no other of the 40+ players managed that weekend, Arshavin wouldn’t have been able to either. If he’d played in midfield and Diaby hadn’t played we would’ve been completely outstrengthed, bullied, and overrun, rather than giving as good as we got against a very physical and powerful chelsea midfield

493. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Just been catching up with a wolves mate (english ex pat) who reminded me they scored more goals on Saturday ;) I spose technically they did :D

494. SUGA3 says:

err, no…

if you repeat the same flawed approach you are more likely to get the wrong result once again – it is not a balance of probabilities thing really…

495. A says:

SUGA3 it’s not a given that the approach was flawed…. The approach was spot on, literally the only thing you can say in hindsight would’ve changed the result for the better would be putting in a better keeper, and quicker centre back rather than silvestre

496. SUGA3 says:

Diaby had a shocker that day – losing balls, and getting pushed out to the left side of the pitch where he was exposed to be single footed player…

did not really make any use of his size either – take this into the account and you will see my point ;)

497. A says:

Playing on a pitch that made it impossible to play quick passing football, we had to try and compete physically against a very powerful chelsea midfield. We played a team designed to compete physically with Chelsea, and we managed to do that better than I thought we’d be capable of, but lost because of individual errors. It’s like saying we lost to UTD earlier in the season because of tactical deficiencies, which isn’t the case

498. A says:

He made very good use of his size SUGA, and did very well in the midfield battle, and more than held his own against Chelsea’s midfield. Even if he wasn’t great going forward he played a very big part in preventing them overpowering us in midfield.

499. ManGoonian says:

Suga3;

My main memories of that game were a big mistake by Eboue for the 1st goal. Fabianski a bit slow off his line, although others have told me it was more Silvestre’s lack of pace, or willing to chase the ball and Drogba for the 2nd.

We were more than a match for them everywhere else, IMO. But I know you have a beef with Diaby…

500. SUGA3 says:

it was pretty obvious that Drogba will have a field day against Silvestre, wasn’t it?

the why would you put a player on form and unavailable for the next game on the bench? so much is being said about fitness – if anyone was to be rested it was Diaby, as he would have to put in a 110% performance to be reasonably suited for the task ahead IMO…

501. SUGA3 says:

Arshavin is tough as nails, if I was to bet on the AA23 v AD2 midfield duel, I know who my money is on…

502. [...] I hope Cashley makes it, so I can boo him for 90 minutes. Cesc Fabregas says that the William Gallas spat last season is now behind the boys, though Arshavin says no-one is [...] [...]

503. SUGA3 says:

anyway, I’m off, gotta wake up early ;)

play nice…

504. A says:

Yeah SUGA – Diaby would absolutely kill Arshavin, and only someone very deluded would say otherwise!

I’m sorry, but claiming Arshavin should’ve played in midfield is ludicrous. He’s not physically up to playing in midfield, which is why he’s played there for us a massive 0 times, but on a pitch where it’s impossible to play quick football, so the game was going to become more of a midfield battle, against the team with the most powerful midfield possibly in Europe, you reckon he’d be good in there?!

Gonna have to disagree on that one….

I agree, Silvestre was always going to be in trouble if man for man against Drogba, who would you have played there instead?! Or instead of Fabianski?! Or instead of Eboue at right back?!

We lost because of individual errors, by players who wouldn’t have been playing if it hadn’t been for injuries to those ahead of them. Arshavin was not going to come in for VP or Ade, and it’s ridiculous to claim he should’ve played ahead of Diaby, so it’s only Theo who he could’ve come in for, and wasn’t it Theo who scored?

505. SUGA3 says:

Diaby was slowing our pace on the break a million times – fact, not opinion…

I felt like chucking stuff at the TV when I saw his receive the ball-run nowhere-allow the opposition to come back-pass it back losing the ground routine…

not thinking quickly enough for my liking: we could TRY to match Chavs for physicality and get inevitably fucked or try to have a go and outpace them with a good chance…

about Diaby ‘killing’ Arshavin – please…

AA23 would run rings around him on the form he was on then…

506. ManGoonian says:

In hinsight I wish this topic hadnt come up again…

507. SUGA3 says:

MG

just one more thing: the fact that Wenger never played AA in MF doesn’t prove a thing, he played Ebowie in the front three, remember?

508. SUGA3 says:

OK, I’m really off this time ;)

509. ManGoonian says:

Didnt Eboue play further back mate? He WAS at fault for the 1st goal…well, thats how I recall it?

But, laters anyways fella

510. Pat says:

How did Chelsea manage to humiliate us at the Emirates? We should have been 4-0 up. Football is a funny old game

511. ethangunner says:

yes the team plays better now because ade isnt the focus in attack .. hence we win!

… when we score more goals than the opposition . load the midfield with creative players and bomb forward on the counter ..

back to the arsenal of old minus 1 togo twat ..

512. Stu says:

HOLY FUCKING SHITBALLS! Robert Enke has died. Not sure if ye already knew this but fuck! Apparently he commited suicide.

513. Jaguar says:

Where are Jimbo and BBK these days?

514. luke says:

we should go in for balotelli, mourinho said something about his performance being a zero against roma. I really rate him and wenger really can handle aggressive egos like that…rvp

515. Pat says:

Mourinho really rates Balotelli though. He sounds harsh, but rumor is he’s like a father figure to him. Doesn’t look that way…

516. Jaguar says:

We have enough of proven strikers. We dont need an egoistic cunt.He can rot in Inter.

517. luke says:

or not then…

518. AA23 says:

Jaguar,
Jimbo and B.B.K havent been around for a while, they have fuck all to say when we are winning.

519. santino says:

522. Geoff says:

Kenya, you only put Cole and Ade in once, and I think Bellamy deserves a listing, but other than that, good call!

523. chozzer says:

I wonder what Cloughie would make of the football blogging world!

524. dennisdamenace says:

What’s all this crowing been about how AW is so great again!??

People need to wind their necks in! We’ve still won nowt for four, going on five years, and the last time I looked we’ve so far beaten teams we should expect to beat, but lost to the only two sides who are supposed to be any good, so not much to crow about there really, apart from doing quite well in the league and playing some decent stuff again, at last!

Credit, where credit’s due in my book, and that comes at the end of the season, when titles are dished out….

525. Pedro says:

New post!
