Well done Andre, you came clean, yes you didn’t have a good game, nor did Cesc and Billy was lucky not to give away a penalty, so apology accepted.
Clichy said they learned a painful lesson at West Ham and it won’t happen again, really, and what did you learn against AZ Alkmaar? Or doesn’t that count?
However, what let us down in that game is what lets us down so often, a poor team selection, playing good players out of position and the refusal to play great players in the position we play mediocre players.
Eboue, often the victim of the boo boys, so why does he get so much abuse? Because he is played in midfield, on the wing or up front as if he were the world’s greatest player, that’s why he gets so much stick, I think he is as good as, if not better as Sagna in the right back slot, keep him there and we won’t grumble, you wouldn’t play Robin as a centre back Arsene, so why play Eboue out wide? Can’t you see it doesn’t work!!!
Diaby, an enigma, he has so much skill, but he keeps screwing up, losing the ball and generally playing wildly out of position, everytime we see him on the teamsheet, we all collectively sigh. How many chances does he get?
Song, often the target of my unhappiness, he genuinely tries, he has the heart, but for me he is just not what we need in that position. He gave away the penalty, argue all you like about the call, but making a tackle from behind, in the area is daft, just plain daft.
The first goal came from a free kick, that just before Eboue sheparded all the way from the half way line, why isn’t he told to make a tackle further up the pitch? Dixon would have put the player into row Z.
Now you may get away with playing one of them there, but all three? It just doesn’t work and I’m sure if Denilson was fit, he’d be in there too.
Don’t even get me started on the keeper situation, since Lehmann has gone, we have struggled, why didn’t we sign Given? Why don’t we sign Joe Hart? Mannone isn’t the answer, Fabianski may be, but we need the finished product now.
Yes there will be people reading this that will say, we are still well placed in the league, we are still in Europe, we are still in the Carling Cup, so stop moaning, but we have been for the last 4 seasons and we ended up with nothing but promises.
We had a bench of Nasri, Bendtner and Eduardo, why did they not start? Are you telling me that Nasri isn’t a better option than Diaby? Are you telling me Eduardo wouldn’t be better than Eboue? Are we sure that Ramsey couldn’t play in the DM role, what the hell is Wilshere thinking, he has bundles of talent and yet he’s behind Eboue, a right back.
We’ve been here before and the players move on, because they want to play, and the boss tells them they are behind this player or that.
I do get exasperated when I look at the talent we have and never play it, it’s not like we even look good when we do play the others, we could see it was going pear shaped when the second half started at Upton Park, even the most die hard AKB would have been puzzled as to why we made no substitutions, then we made one on 82 minutes and one on 88, what was the point in that? That’s what you do when you’re 2 up and want to waste some time against the chavs, not against West Ham!
Now I’ll spend all week getting stupid little text messages from happy Hammers, it’s not fair Arsene, it’s the same old excuse, after AZ, you said the team will learn from this, after West ham you said the same thing. So what did they learn?
I hope like hell you have learned from this and put out a good team against Liverpool and not a bunch of kids, please understand we want to win something this year, it’s why we pay so much.
Please, please, learn from this game, we have the players, you just aren’t playing them. Wilshere, Ramsey, Vela and Nasri. You brought them in not me, why is Vela never playing? He has more talent than Diaby, Song and Eboue combined and he can play out wide.
On the subject of banning people, if someone comes on Le Grove and gets abusive, they get banned, disagree all you want, that’s debate, tell fellow bloggers they are wankers or worse isn’t clever, it isn’t tough and it’s not welcome, Le Grove is a site where you can have an opinion, not threaten fellow bloggers, we have women, children and senior citizens on here, respect that and you’re welcome.
Enough said, have a great day Grovers, tomorrow we’ll see what we learned from the last 7 days.
P.S. I have a spare for the Liverpool game, mail in quick if you’d like it!

Lol Real spent all that money and are still getting beat like they stole something its very funny…
And its not as if big name players werent playing…
If Rafa Beitez is smart he will buy Roman Pavlychenko January…he still has no quality backup if Torres goes down again…
I am sure Pav would gladly leave since he is 4th choice at Spurs
I wouldn’t say team selection was bad. We picked the team that should have been capable of killing off the team we had in front of us. It worked for 45 minutes where we were in full control but we didn’t kill off the team while we could and it came back to haunt us. We can’t play Eduardo in all the games, well, coz he’s just not ready. Wilshere isn’t ready according to the boss… You know, we have to play taking injuries into consideration and have some bit of rotation. I’m sure teams higher up the pecking order will get a team selection that fits them. But going off about particular players just because of this off result, to me, is sour graping. Point out Vp and Arshavin not taking their chances in the fast half and you’d probably be halfway to giving a fair analysis of the game. You cannot point out three guys here, the entire team slumped in the second half.
Mannone is shite! Wenger has shown himself up for the mug he is..
How can you drop a keeper clearly not good enough for arsenal (almunia is no lehmann) and play 1 who’s not even good enough to see through 3 months at barnsley?
Wenger has destroyed almunia’s confidence and it’ll only get worse.. At this point in time I’m hoping, no, praying that fabianski can do some sort of a damage limitation job until january.
Stu – Because the liverpool board and benetiz are stupid with money.. Who would play 20m for a 2nd string crock who’s worth 8m at best? They also paid 18m for glen johnson as well. That should tell you all you need to know.
Reva in the summer there was talk that they would be willing to cash in on him for £30 mil because they were broke. Their situation has improved somewhat since then, they sold Aquilani instead for £17 mil, and his value was WAY less than De Rossi’s to the club. It would cost over £25 mil to get him minimum, and as big clubs would come in for him more likely City or Madrid would come in with a £40 mil offer, so if we wanted him it’d cost silly money
De Rossi is worth 20m at best if we’re negotiating.. 15m if no one else wants him ala arshavin..
For chelsea and madrid it’s 28-32m and for man city it’s 40m… Simples!
Reva for just us negotiating we could get them at £25 mil, £30-£35 Utd/Liverpool, £40-£45 City/Madrid.
He’s Roma’s star man, there’s no way in hell they’d let him go for less than £25 mil!! Not in a million years
anyways, it’s all hypothetical, and any talk of us ever getting him is completely unrealistic, so it’s pointless!
I’m perfectly happy with Song in there continuing to improve unless a top top player becomes available, and Fabianski starting his reign between the sticks, I expect big big things from him, starting tomorrow!
A – They could sell him at 30m, but that wouldn’t be to us.. We could get him for minus 20 in january.. If he (De Rossi) goes in jan (Which is quite possible if you ask me) to anyone it will be for 25m+ only if it involves players going to roma to soften the blow.
By the way, wait till after the African Nations cup is played before you get the jury out on the Yaya vs Song debate. I just think that people have too many preconceptions and prejudices against Song for them to make a fair judgment of him right now, especially coming off the loss.
problem is, Reva, that Fabianski can’t catch the ball either – the only keeper with reasonable ball catching ability is/was Almunia…
by the way: good shout on Wenger destroying his confidence – he looks a broken man on the bench, doesn’t have the look Jens had after he was dropped…
Stu, A,
What am saying is that his errors are easier to correct than the Spanish Waiter’s mistakes or even Fab, who had some terrible mistakes of his own too. Fact is we have no reliable Keeper, and that could hurt us more than Eboue or Diaby or any other player. We saw how Dida kept AC milan against Chievo.. so many points a good keeper could get you. Blame Wenger. He gets 6m quid to fix this, not u, not me!
No, Totti is roma’s star man A… And they are broke.. There is that prospect of missing out on european football also, which would quite simply cripple them.. Why wait until it’s confirmed when the season ends which will lead to a fire sale?
A – when fabianski get’s buried thrice times tomorrow i’ll be reminding you of that..
it seems Madrid have a 2nd chance to turn over the tide against this team. If ronaldo aint there, no way in hell they win by 5-0. Sad really…….Galacticos 2.0 as abysmal early on as the originals
Reva they’d never sell him for under £25 mil, let alone under £20 mil, why on earth would they?! Maybe if every other club in Europe went bankrupt, and they needed just under £20 mil or they’d go bust, and they’d already sold every single other player in their squad, and we refused to offer a penny more than the exact sum that would save them, perhaps it would happen, otherwise….
I actually didnt see Dida against Chievo but whatever.
I dont see why everyone thinks Fabianski is this massive mistake in goal waiting to happen. Apart from the fa cup Semi i honestly cant think of any costly goals he has been responsible for.
come on, Confident, Mannone is a waste of time – I would rather give Szczesny some playing time instead, yes, must work on his upper body strength, but so does Mannone (I thought different until Larsson knocked him off the ball)…
Mannone is shit in the box, Szczesny would not do this panicky thing Mannone did against Brum to prevent equaliser – people were praising him for that, but it was only down to Billy that we did not concede, as he just palmed it out into the box instead of catching it and covering with his body – how poor is that?
Confident he’s made an error in every area of his game! His positional sense cost us a goal against Blackburn, his punching cost us a goal against Birmingham, his shot stopping cost us a goal against West Ham, his decision making and rushing out unnecessarily has almost cost us a goal a few times, and has done numerous times in the reserves. It isn’t like there’s just one area of Mannone’s game that needs work, his just all round game is still very raw in every area!
Reva De Rossi is now on par with Totti in Roma’s eyes. Totti is more of a legend, but in terms of the current importance De Rossi is at least on par with him, if they needed the money then they’d sell off so many other players in their squad before De Rossi
SUGA3 – Lehmann deserved to be dropped and almunia did well enough to keep his place at the time..
This time it’s different, very different.. mannone is 3rd choice at the club and to be honest he’s 4th if you consider the talent of Szchesney..
Mannone made high profile blunders resulting in goals and as soon as almunia regained fitness should have been reinstated as he is the best we have at current..
It’s not an ideal situation as Al’s form was poor but why destroy his confidence with someone who has done nothing to suggest he should be keeping him out.. It’s a farce… I wish he’d take the same line with eboue, clichy, diabolical diaby and to some extent Arshavin..
Wenger sure did milk the plaudits after the fulham game.. His head went so far up his own arse that he forgot that actually mannone is shite and is only playing because
a) almunia and fabianski were actually injured
and
b) szchesney hasn’t had the competitive games Mannone has in the reserves..
A – to be honest they haven’t really got any valuable assests over 10m.. They are struggling..
Menez, Blondie at the back and Vukenvic (sp.) are even debatable..
The right back Motta looks a good prospect though..
If/when Roma go bankrupt we should definately buy Motta. He is quality…moves clubs a lot tho.
A – not to many clubs can stump up 20m in one go atm..
Only us, barca (who want mascherano), city and united could afford a 20m fee atm.. (chelsea are still in transfer limbo)
this is just beyond me, Reva – why is this fucking rabbit in the headlights keeping Szczesny out of the team?
Szczesny broke both arms which kept him out for a bit and still is ridiculously good and I’m tipping him for out no.1 one day, unless he falls victim of AW’s shit man management and ends up somewhere else (like Real or ManUre)…
stu if that signals the end of eboue i’d take him for 6 mths
I think its time to put Almunia back in goal honestly….
Fabianski is still not ready…in another year so he maybe…but Al is still the best and most experienced we have….
He should be back in goal for Tottenham.
SUGA3 – Tbh if i was vela and merida i’d want out.. Why sit in the stands and on the bench watching diaby and eboue play upfront/right mid, playing shite and somehow keep getting picked…
szczesny isn’t ready yet SUGA, he’s very talented, but is behind the other three keepers. I want him to head out on loan for the rest of the season, and come back in the summer ready to compete with fabianski
that is even worse, Reva – Lehmann was dropped on merit, Almunia is kept out on a whim, he should look pissed off, but he looks like he didn’t give a fuck…
I want to see a hungry player, a player with a point to prove, not broken man, this is like a disease, it spreads, Victoria Concordia Crescit, anyone?
We can’t win on the weekend unless we win..
If Mannone starts in a game of that magnitude then Almunia is finished at Arsenal..
If Almunia starts and fucks up it’ll be because he hasn’t had the matches since coming back a fortnight ago from injury, his confidence is at an all time low OR both!
Thankfull Vela and Merida are more level headed than you then Reva
Vela’s development has been ridiculously stifled by his international travels, and Merida isn’t yet first team material, he still needs to become more consistent, and use the ball better, improve his ball retention
Szczesny > Fabiansi, Mannone, Almunia
I agree with that Reva, if Mannone starts at the weekend then Almunia really is finished, and it’d also shock me Wenger being that stupid!
Has to be Fabianski, or if not then Almunia
Team tomorrow will be:
Fabianski
Eboue Senderos Silvestre Gibbs
Conquelin
Ramsey Merida
Bendtner Eduardo Vela
A you swine
But to be honest i wouldn’t and couldn’t blame them if they decided to fuck off…
no way A, Szczesny over Mannone any day – any manager with eyes would see that…
‘I didn’t se it’
Mannone v Spuds?
fucking hell, that is not funny…
Suga3 – “Victoria Concordia Crescit” – What do you mean ?!
If you think Vela’s development has been stiffled by international duty can you explain the lack of progress by Theo “crash Bandicoot” walcott and Abou “where am I?” diaby?
Can people help me get an idea about how highly are youngsters are rated???
I’m rating the 5 below on potential ability out of 20, and saying if they’re good enough for first team. Can anyone else do the same?
Jack Wilshire: 18/20 First Team: No
Aaron Ramsey: 16/20 Yes
Carlos Vela: 18/20 Yes
Nik Bendtner: 13/20 ???
Theo Walcott: 16/20 Arguable
don’t you dare say injuries!
Victory Through Harmony:
you cannot have a depressed player in the team – pissed off and willing to contribute: yes, but no idler who knows that it is not the merit we are talking about…
If Merida and Vela go now, then good riddance, same with Flamini and Hleb, Diarra and all the other fuckwits, you don’t want to stay and fight for your place, or you can get a better deal elsewhere, fine, not too bothered.
Thing is with Vela he smiles almost every time he comes onto the pitch and as soon as he gets a proper run, without injury or having to go off to internationsla every other week, I think he’ll be pretty happy.
Merida really needs to think about what he wants, just like he’s said, if he’s not upto the physical challnege of the league, then he should just leave now.
Vela’s development has been stifled by Wengers choice not to play him when he has obviously been the better player or option in the side
He has been scroing for Mexico
He has scored in every start for us, apart from one game
WHAT ELSE CAN HE DO???
Shag Wenger???
Theo never had it. I never saw anything special in him. Not better than Lennon surely. Lennon has learned how to shoot this season and Theo is just a speed demon with no brain and no end product most of the time.
Jack Wilshire – Potential ability 18/20 – Should be in 1st team? Yes
Aaron Ramsey – Potential Ability 16/20 – Should be in 1st team? Yes
Carlos Vela – Potential Ability 18/20 – Should Be in 1st team? Yes
Niklas Bendtner – Potential Ability 18/20 – Should Be in 1st team? Yes
Theo “Crash Bandicoot” Walcott – Potential Ability 15/20 – Should Be in 1st team? Well, Eboue plays on the right wing so yes (just about)
SUGA3 – I don’t think anyone’s depressed, would you be if you were sitting on the bench at Arsenal ? Or if you were playing ?!
It’s like with the Almunia thing, people think he’s unhappy because they showed one cut scene to him during a game and because he didn’t automatically get a recall, he should work his aSs off in training to get his place back.
Keyser,
Vela is sheer class, would do more damage than Diaby any day – he pissed all over RBs in Spain…
My son made the point to me the other day,
As much as we all love Theo, if he was Serbian, would anyone give a rats arce about him??? Or would he just be another pacey winger???
Theo absolutely pisses over Lennon, that one run in the Champions League is something Lennon couldn’t dream of.
The goal he scored against Villereal is better than probably any of Lennons sOo far. Lennon still can’t shoot, and if you watch him cross he’s developed the same chip cross that Walcott used to lob up to Adebayor and he still hasn’t got the delivery.
Tottenham have Crouch in the team and I think he’s barely scored a headed goal, yeah he’s shit in the air, but Lennon must have found him at least once.
Keyser,
there is no logical reason to keep your most experienced keeper on the bench and field a shit scared 3rd choice with games for the 1st team barely in double figures when you are supposed to compete for the title, is there?
Time to be controversial
Arshavin- Fantastic player- when he wants to be
When we go a goal down, he just doesn’t seem to be interested. He is far too big headed, more so than Henry was, more so than Adebayor was after 30 goals in a season, and has even less reason to be so than either of the above
I am not saying he is bad, but i am against bashing players like Song who try their guts out. Why not bash Arshavin, who has been SHIT the past 2-3 games, and is clearly just a mercenary for us. He can’t keep his mouth shut and has nothing good to say about the club.
I’m not saying i hate him, but he is rapidly losing favour with me
SUGA3 – In Spain, though I;m not questioning his talent, more his commitment, he hasn’t got any reason to be unhappy.
This thing about him not getting playing time is bollocks, he played for his country with painkilling injections, missed the first month, he’s been off every other week since, because FIFA and whoever else are a bunch of dicks, he needs to work his way back to fitness and into the team, starting with tomorrow.
Rob – Theo get’s patience because he’s english and we all vye for him to do well.. We’d love to see a brit start week in week out for arsenal.. It’s been long enough ffs!
However, if we was france he’d get more games and wouldn’t get dropped if he played like a donkey.. If he was from anywhere else h’d be on the recieving end of some stick…
Personally i’d like to see more of gibbs and wilshire.. Clichy has gone right down the toilet.. If Madrid are silly enough to offer anything over 14m in jan or the summer we’d be stupid not to take it.
Walcott can still make it at arsenal but the jury is still definantly out when it comes to his decision making and link up play in an arsenal formation… His comments about england didn’t help particularly when he’s not fit and has all but lost his place to lennon atm..
SUGA3 – Your most experinced keeper has just come back, the one you off isn’t experienced and has shown good and bad points, the only way he’s going to get experience is by playing.
I don’t blame Mannone for Sunday, you’d have to be extremely harsh to do so, now Almunia’s back alongside Fabianski, they know what they have to do to come back.
Our line-up for Spurs:
————–Almunia
Sagna—-Gallas—-Verminator—-Clichy
—–==—Song——Ramsey
–Rosicky/Nasri(if fit)—–Fabregas——Arshavin
—Bendtner/Eduardo(if fit)—RVP—Vela (after —————————–hatrick against bindippers
)
Arshavin is just about getting the benefit of the doubt at the moment… He looks disinterested and lazy most of the time and this is a season we cannot afford to carry passengers..
Goals and assists aside he’s been very poor and he hasn’t the fall back excuse that he wins us games on his own.. A player of that quality needs to show more desire and commitment for the club because right now he’s taking the piss..
He must use up all that energy talking to journo’s atm!
Rob – Vela could score 5 against the scousers and he’d still be lucky to make the bench against spurs.
Lol
I can’t wait to see Vela, Ramsey and co. tomorrow
Should be a good atmosphere. As cough*cough* usual
what’s that keyser? Not gift the opposition a goal to get back into the game?
Heh, Walcotts been injured, the Ridgewell injury wasn’t exactly his fault, someone throwing their whole weight at an angle across the back of your achilles is going to hurt anyone, but in a few minutes against Blackburn he showed what he offers.
I don’t get the Clichy thing, last season Arshavin tracked back a fair bit, but wasn’t exactly defensively sound, thats not his game, this season he barely tracks because he’s asked to be the first line of pressure from the front, and if Diaby, Song or Fabregas doesn’t get across to cover, Clichy’s left with two options :
- either to preempt the attack which is high risk, or because it’s usually 2-1 against him, he covers space until someone tracks back, he’s been left exposed far too often.
at least the match is early on saturday.. Arshavin won’t be craving the pies then so should put in a half decent show!
You know which keeper I want to see in an Arsenal shirt? Diego Lopez, the villareal shot stopper. he’s quality
keyser that’s such a kop out.. Clichy has been shite for the last 18mths..
AHAHAHA, very funny, nah prove their worth, Mannone’s had a chance, now the other two are back, starting with Fabianksi tommorrow they have to prove their worth again.
pat – some clubs (not including us) are already having a sniff if you believe the daily rags
Arshavin might be lazy but he creates at least 2 great chances for our other players a game. They need to take them.
I think he’ll be up for the Spurs clash. He wanted to play last season, but he wasn’t fit enough.
ReVELAtion – No, it’s not, the team’s been pretty bad for the last 18 months yet we still single out players.
Go back over the last few posts, the goalies bad, the wingers are bad, the left backs are bad, the youngsters don’t get a chance, Arshavin’s getting the benefit of the doubt, were you one of those that thought the formation was bad ?!
How many of those would we need to correct to win against West Ham ?!
Arshavin is just another captain type – he is captain of Russia national team: this is a massive job, then you have TV, also captain type for me, that is why they are both talkers here…
pat – that is a wild guess let’s be honest and that doesn’t vindicate piss poor performances.. But if he put’s in a stormer against the spuds all will be forgotten because i’ve got this feeling he’ll get a couple on saturday..
keyser calm down, everyones having a whinge… My main grievances are:
we could do with an international class keeper
we could do with a top class defensive midfielder
we could do with a better captain (yes i said it)
wenger could do without playing eboue in advanced positions and dropping his favourite yth experiements who are playing like turd..
Other than that it’s all good
Everything
second that Reva, just the job
all right I’m off…
nite y’all…
ciao 4 now
ReVelation – I am calm, I think the captain things a cop out if any of the team are thinking that.
The main thing I think we need, is to hold out a lead for a game or two or two come back for a gritty well fought win.
The season before last we played soo well because we had almost a fit squad and because the team learn’t quickly, I think it was the first game, where we went behind to Fulham from a Lehman mistake and it took us till the last 10 minutes to come back for a win.
We need to go through those type of experiences and quick.
Vela has so rarely been available for us Wenger hasn’t had the chance to pick him, and when he has been available he’s been unavailable so much before that he’s much less integrated in the squad than other players. It’s incredibly frustrating, no less so for Vela himself, and Wenger, but I guess Vela’s a silly patriotic person. If I was him I would’ve retired from international football already. If he hadn’t been playing for Mexico over the last year I genuinely believe he’d be a first team regular for us now.
Fabianski
Eboue Senderos Silvestre Gibbs
Ramsey Coquelin Nasri
Bendtner Eduardo Vela
Ha Ha, get aload of this from ESPN Soccernet.
Real Madrid suffered an astonishing 4-0 defeat at third-tier side Alcorcon in the King’s Cup on Tuesday, humiliated in the first leg by a club with a budget more than 400 times smaller than the La Liga giants.
The Madrid players were stunned by a first-half blitz from the minnows.
Real were missing their two most expensive signings, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka, as well as several other key players, but were undone by a club with a €1.1 million ($1.6 million) annual budget compared to Real’s €420 million.
It was the third defeat in five matches for Manuel Pellegrini’s side and piled more pressure on the Chilean coach after Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Sporting Gijon and last week’s 3-2 home defeat to AC Milan in the Champions League.
A fired-up Alcorcon, who play in the same league as Real’s youth team Castilla, laid siege to the visitors’ goal in the frantic early stages, forcing Jerzy Dudek into a couple of smart saves with shots from distance.
Former Real youth player Borja Gomez gave Alcorcon a shock lead in the 16th minute when he cut in from the right and curled a precise shot into the bottom left corner.
Spain defender Alvaro Arbeloa inexplicably clipped the ball into his own net six minutes later before Fernando Bejar headed against Dudek’s leftpost.
Ernesto Gomez made it three five minutes before the break, sidefooting home Diego Cascon’s cross from the right, and Borja pounced on a loose ball to make it four in the 52nd minute.
Pellegrini replaced Raul with Ruud van Nistelrooy with just under 20 minutes left as Real searched desperately for a goal. Alcorcon keeper Juanma palmed the Dutchman’s shot on to a post with four minutes remaining but Real were unable to find a goal ahead of the the second leg at the Bernabeu in two weeks.
Real Madrid director general Jorge Valdano has apologised to his club’s supporters following the humiliating 4-0 Copa del Rey defeat to third division Alcorcon.
Valdano said after the match: ”It’s difficult. I know how the Madrid fans must be feeling and we apologise to them.”
Valdano believes Madrid can still turn the tie around in the second leg at the Bernabeu in a fortnight though, and also gave his backing to under-pressure coach Manuel Pellegrini.
”This team is made of up good players and great professionals who are capable of turning this situation around. They are proud players and today we’ve had really a bad night.
”We have to be united. And when I say united, I include the coach in that,” added Valdano on his club’s website.
Here go the Cesc to Real-ly- Boring rumours again
A budget 400 times less? Arsenal spend 400 times less than on players don’t they?
If the Spanish economy is a bath, then Real must be the plug hole, where loads, and loads and loads of dosh pours out of.
that takes the sting out of sunday a little…
Benzema,van der vaart,drenthe,raul,arbeloa,albiol guti,diarra all started for madrid.Hilarious stuff
holy shit I didnt know that. Pathetic.
was the final score line 3-0??
oh 4-0!!! hahahaha.
so LJW is out…is that gamesmenship on Wenger’s part? Don’t think so…
Here’s my lineup for you early birds across the pond reading..
Vela/Watt, Eduardo, Bendtner (hope he’s not on the right)
Nasri, Coquelin/Randall, Ramsey/Merida
Gibbs, Sendy, Silvestre, Gilbert
That’s a shaky looking back four, we will need Fabi in top form. My midfield would be Nasri, Ramsey, Merida with Coquelin on to defend a lead. I’d also throw Watt on early in the 2nd if Vela, Eduardo, Bendtner don’t deliver the goods till then.
Vela fit?
Benzema,van der vaart,drenthe,raul,arbeloa,albiol guti,diarra all started for madrid.Hilarious stuff
Cannot beleive everyones having a pop at Madrid disgusting stuff especially if you backed Alcorcon at 9/1 on betfair as i did
They were still 3/1 when they were 2-0 up !!!! and 4/7 at 4-0 lol Got to admit mind i didnt think Real would play a side as strong as they did !! I know they dont take that competion seriously but Jesus that was a thumping and Embaresment!!
Thats the beauty of the sport…
400 million pounds < 1 million pounds
Morning all, I’m feeling good about tonight and have written a positive post.
Geoff..
is it tuf to balance between truthful post and positive post
It’s tough to stop moaning after we did what we did in the last two posts, but if he picks a side to win, I’ll be fine Sabeel!
Geoff
i sympathize with u..
I wish we see a new non-complacent attitude in this game and next onwards…
this game complacency may not be an issue as this carling cup game the kids will be up to impress….
Geoff…i have a slow connection at home…and i find it tuf to access Le-grove from there
99.5 % sites open in the slow connection..and le-grove is that 0.05% of sites where it is tuf accessing it.. i dont know whats the issue..have tried all browsers througg possible
Sabeel, email Pedro, he’s the techi and may have a solution, me, I’m a luddite!

luddite -> person against technological progress
The Luddites smashed all the new fangled machinery in the Northern mills in 1879 or so, because they were losing their jobs, they all got hanged or transported, Gnarley’s relatives were probably Luddites Iceman!
Nowadays we call them unions!!!
its so sad Jack Wilshere has an ankle injury, would really have loved to see him play.
